Speaker: What is success to you as a man? Success is very important. It's very important to all men. The question you want to ask yourself as a man is, what is success important? Due to the enormous privileges that society and that your father have bestowed on, it is your duty and obligation to do your very best and utmost to achieve your full potential.

Speaker: You're a man living in the modern world in a time when men and manhood are not what they once were. You live life on your own terms. You're self -sufficient. You think for yourself and you march to the beat of your own drum. When life knocks you down, you get back up because in your gut, you know that's what men do. You're a badass and a warrior. And on the days when you forget, we are here to remind you who you really are.

Speaker: Welcome to Sovereign Man podcast where we aim to make man masculine. Again, I'm your man, Nicky Baloo. And this is solo episode for y 'all. And I gotta tell you, this is gonna be a great episode. Because what we're gonna do today is we're gonna look at what is success to you as a man. And first thing I gotta say is success is very important to you as a man. It's very important to all men. That's true. But what is success?

Speaker: While a fellow named Justin Sterling, the creator of the Sterling Men's Weekend, says success is doing one thing better than any other man, so that other men seek you out for that skill, they pay you homage in the form of respect, admiration, and a position in the male hierarchy.

Speaker: And they also will give you resources. I pay you for it in power. So as an example, if you're really good at sales and enrollment, men that want that skill need that skill. They're going to pay you respect for that. They're going to admire you. They're going to want to learn from you and they're going to pay you to learn from you. And they're going to put you at a certain position in the male hierarchy. That's just simply how it is.

Speaker: and The question you wanna ask yourself as a man is, what is success important in your life? So I'll speak for myself. Success is also how I as a man value myself. It's also what allows me to take care of my family. Straight up, that's what success is to me. What is it to you? Is it about a certain amount of money?

Speaker: Is it about having raised great sons or daughters? By the way, I've raised two great sons, so I consider that a success. Is it about being in top shape? And for me, I've got myself in the top shape. That's a success. Is it about how strong your relationship with your woman is, or how strong your relationship with your mother and father are, with your friends, your coworkers, or your clients?

Speaker: And I got to tell you, every man needs to understand success is your duty. As a man, it is your duty. It is your obligation to society as a whole, to your father, the man who sired you and raised you, due to the enormous privileges that society and that your father and bestowed on you. It is your duty and obligation to do your very best and utmost to achieve your full potential. That's what it is. You gotta do it. And what you gotta get

Speaker: is that seeking success isn't our natural default position in life. To go out there and grind and scratch and claw, it is not our natural default. You know what our natural default is? To sit around, to do nothing, to drink booze, to smoke weed, to watch Netflix, YouTube, television. To be successful, you gotta transcend it.

Speaker: So how do you become successful as a man? You got to identify what your one thing is. What is that one thing you're really good at? Well, I'll speak for myself. I'm really good at pushing myself and others into action. I'm Action Jackson. That's me. That's Nicky B. And because of that, I've become really good at enrollment. Really, really, really good at enrollment.

Speaker: And I've spent a lot of time working hard to reach success. So to me, reaching success is not easy. It's something that requires something of me, requires a decision to become successful, requires a commitment to do what is necessary to become successful. It requires humbling myself.

Speaker: to become coachable from elders and experts who can teach me what I need to learn and know to become successful. It requires a level of resourcefulness to come up with the time and the energy and the money to win at this game of success. Reaching success requires me to sacrifice other shit I'd rather be doing.

Speaker: It requires me to impose discipline on myself and it's risky. So last year, February 2nd, 2023, I weighed 227 pounds and I was disgusted with myself. I'd reached the point of disgust and I said to myself, that's it. I'm doing something about it. I need help. I'm going to hire somebody. I made the decision. I was ready to get committed to do whatever was necessary and I was going to be coachable. I hired somebody to coach me.

Speaker: Within six months, I went from 227 to 169, 58 pounds down, boom. Went from fat to fit, decided I was gonna do even better, so I decided to do bodybuilding. Kept working with the same coach. Sacrifice, don't go out to restaurants, don't eat shitty food, don't drink. Discipline, go to the gym every day, sleep a certain amount every day, eat a certain way every day. Risk.

Speaker: Well, the risk here really was mostly money. I'm looking stupid if I didn't make it. Not a big risk. But I gotta tell you, ah I was coachable. And I entered into a peer group, the family of clients and coaches who worked for my coach. And that's what allowed me to become successful. So here's my question for you. What's your one thing? What's that thing you're good at?

Speaker: me, my ability to push people into action. It's what I do, I'm the best at it. I'm very good at enrollment. I'm an exceptional public speaker. I'm a brilliant writer. Do you need to be pushed into action? Are you slacking off? Because let's be honest, if you're not as successful as you want to be, at some level you are. You need to know someone like me if that's the case. So that's my one thing, what's your one thing? Figure it out, write it down, get clear on it.

Speaker: and then sacrifice to become better and better and better at it. Discipline yourself and be okay with failure because that's the risk you take. You can fail. So everybody write down what's my one thing and what do I need to do in order to be the best at this and what level of sacrifice, discipline and risk am I willing to embrace to achieve and attain success and join a peer group, join Sovereign Man, Sovereign Circle. Our organization, Sovereign Man, Sovereign Circle, it's gonna kick your ass and it's gonna get you to where you need to get to, to win. You as a man have an obligation and a duty to become successful. This duty isn't just to yourself. It's to your father, the man who sired you and raised you. It is to society as a whole, because both your father and society as a whole have

Speaker: bestowed upon you, a set of privileges and rights. And the truth is that success is not easy, but it does bring some major benefits to a man's life. That's it. Success is the answer. I know this has been a great episode. I know you got value from it. Make sure that you give it a like rating and review. Baloo up.
