Okay. So as you guys approach this town, the road branches north and climbs a rocky encampment and ending at a gate house built into a 20 foot high wall of stone. That's this picture you see at the bottom of your page here.

ah So I can go ahead and put you down there. um the wall encloses The wall encloses a settlement on the side of a snow-dusted mountain spur. Beyond the wall, you see the tops of snow-colored pines and thin white wisps of smoke. The somber toll of a bell comes from a stone abbey that clings to the mountainside high above the settlement. The Steady Chime is inviting a welcome change from the deathly silence and oppressive fog to which you've ah starting to grown accustomed to. It's hard to tell at this distance, but there seems to be a switchback road clinging to the cliffs that lead up from the walled settlement to the abbey.

So there was a way from down here to get to the floor you were just on. leading to the winery's upper level.

A thin mist covers the floor. Each half of the cellar features an eight foot tall wooden partition that doubles as a wine rack. ah The Western rack stands empty, but the Eastern rack is half filled with wine bottles. These look like the wine bottles that Davian was talking about.
