Every club, every day. The Global Sports Podcast Network. Hey, hey, everyone. Welcome in to Daily Wolves as always. It's Michael from GSP and Newcastle. Hey, Michael. and Chris, how's it going?
00:00:27
Speaker
good good living the dream living the dream not quite sure if it's a good one or a bad one but it's some kind of dream ah we'll find out and hopefully it'll be well i say hopefully a better one uh by the weekend but i'm actually hoping you have a worse one unfortunately yeah yeah you just dug yourself a bigger hole there but it's no problem yeah it's fine i'm used to it is it just michael by the way or is it mike for sure we didn't establish that Uh, just Michael there. Thanks. Cool. Okay. Cool. No worries. All

Newcastle's Season Analysis

00:00:53
Speaker
right. So, uh, welcome in to the wolves dug out as we look ahead to this weekend. And obviously we've had slightly different starts to the season. I mean, you must be pretty happy. I would have thought with how your season's going so far overall.
00:01:06
Speaker
So our season so far for me is papered over a lot of the crafts. I think if you look at the statistics, um which I don't want to do too much, but Southampton, I know we were down to 10 men, but we were battered for the majority of the game.
00:01:22
Speaker
Bournemouth very easily could have beat us in the last minute um if it wasn't for the controversial disallow goal and then Tottenham, yeah we got the win there, best win of the season without a doubt, but again Tottenham were the better team and if they could have finished anything they would have probably beaten us that day. I think if Solanke's fit they beat us.

Wolves' Season Overview

00:01:44
Speaker
um So there's still a lot of come from Newcastle. um you haven't so well People haven't seen the best of us this season at all just yet.
00:01:52
Speaker
OK, well, that's slightly scary to think about going into the weekend. and But obviously, we're it' slightly I know it's early days and the table only three games gone, but we are at very different ends of it. Obviously, Wolves finally got their first point of the season before the international break away to Forest.
00:02:07
Speaker
And so we are ah probably the fire, even though you're a little bit concerned maybe about the cracks you mentioned, I think we are probably as we knew as Wolves fans going into the season, it was ah going to be a difficult start. I mean, you look at our fixture list. um We've yeah, stuck we start. We opened Arsenal.
00:02:25
Speaker
um Chelsea, you never know what you're going to get, but obviously that they've spent billions on that that squad. I mean, they've got more players and they know what to do with it. It's ridiculous. and And then after you guys this weekend, this September, we've got the likes of Liverpool and Villa as well. So like we've got, I think statistically Optus said it's like the toughest start in the league. So we know it's going to be a tough week. All fun and games. Yeah, I know exactly. So the one point off Horace was like, yes, come on, we're on the table. we there We're off the bottom because alphabetically, we're always there.
00:02:54
Speaker
So the vibes are a little bit different. um But I guess from from a wall's point of view, asking you coming into our dugout, how are you actually let's look at the head to heads before I go any

Newcastle vs. Wolves Historical Context

00:03:05
Speaker
further. So historically, over recent times, we haven't done that great against you. And I'm not even going to go into mentioning the penalty we should have had when the goalie pulled him in his down like, gosh.
00:03:14
Speaker
No idea what you're on about. But in the last six matches, Wolves have only won one of them as my cats have a fight on my lap. That's amazing. Hopefully I'm casting skills. um Wolves have only won one of the last six. We've drawn two and lost to you three times in the last six. So you've got, I presume you're feeling fairly optimistic about the weekend?
00:03:36
Speaker
Um, to be honest under Eddie, how I'm now a bit more optimistic before how came in or record against you was pretty shocking. Um, I think at Molyneux, um, yeah, I think seven out the last nine meetings have been a draw, which to be fair this time round, I guess you'd be happier with them. more Um, we would be, I mean, we would definitely take it. I know the position says that, you know, you're going to be in a relegation battle by the looks of things, but I don't think that I think is all, you know, recover, um, end up a bit more closer to mid table.
00:04:06
Speaker
But, you know, I think when you look at this fixture in the past, there's always been a bit of controversy either way. ah So, you know, a game where the two teams just battle it out and we're not talking about the referee at the end would would be nice, to be honest.

VAR Controversies Discussion

00:04:20
Speaker
That would be nice for both of us because we're, yeah, I mean, yeah as we we've had a lot of banter this on the World Podcast, obviously, about decision making, about VAR. I know that VAR, we've seen all sorts with it. and we made a point that other managers and teams can't argue this season because Wolves were the only team that voted against it obviously in the in the summer ah debate on that and every other team voted it in whatever happens at the weekend I'm sorry but you can't have it you can't have a say in that. Well we got away with Joe Linton clothesline and the goalkeeper against Bournemouth so
00:04:52
Speaker
VR is clearly in our favor at the moment. Yeah, yeah. So fingers crossed it doesn't come down, stuff like that. But you're right, there has been a lot of draws to my mind, particularly at home. So i' I think we look to ask that that fixtures this weekend, as I mentioned, for the whole month and knowing that we've got the likes of Villa and Liverpool still to come, we would like obviously the goal would be to maybe try and get at least something from you guys at the weekend.

Wolves' Tactical Evolution

00:05:16
Speaker
because yeah that's the hope. But we are, I think the wall side of thing, we're very ah eager to see what formation Gary Nill comes out with, because he's spent all preseason going with a back four. We opened the first two games in the season with a back four. It was very wonky, letting six goals, obviously, against Chelsea. yeah And then for the forest game shifted, it was still kind of a back four, but he changed the formula and And it was it was at times able to drop into like wing backs if needed. It was a different dynamic. And he brought in Craig Lawson again. It all changed around. So everyone's very much to base in, is he going to go five or four or three? like What's he going to do at the back? And um so that, from our perspective, is our concern. What are you most concerned about looking at this weekend from your point

Newcastle's Fitness Concerns

00:06:04
Speaker
of view? And just not looking at walls for a second, but like within your squad, dots what's your biggest concern from a Newcastle point of view?
00:06:12
Speaker
Yeah, I think from a Newcastle point of view, to speak just after the England game, it would be the fitness well and the Italy game actually, would be the fitness of Sandro Tenali and Anthony Gordon, both played a lot of minutes over the international break. And then overall, for all if you look at the depth, you know what ruined Newcastle last season, our injuries, we had more than anyone in the league. And that's that was because we tried to play that high tempo football.
00:06:38
Speaker
that you know Italy and both ah England tried a little bit more in the international break so it's it's one of those that I could just see Newcastle not having the same rhythm that we typically do us having a slow start the game and Wolves cut you know catching us on the break and then we struggle to get back at teams one by one nil down so it's one of those where I'm not overly concerned, but if Wolves got the first goal at the weekend, you'd start to think, right, okay, it's going to be another one of them seasons.
00:07:13
Speaker
Yeah, yeah, we also got struck really badly with injuries from a different perspective because we were one of the smallest squads in the league last year. So just, you know, two or three injuries just completely destroyed us because we had less than I think less than 20 in the first team squad. So it was absolutely criminal. And then the first and then they were all among like the strikers and wingers. We had no front men. So it was all like under 21s. being put up front for the last part of the season like the academy players, which was crazy. And that kind of ruined. That's when we dropped from like 13th or 11th down to, you know, 15th. But so so I guess what are you hope? What do you think is going to be your biggest strength coming into

Key Players Spotlight

00:07:54
Speaker
this weekend? And if those are your concerns, what do you think is going to be the thing that's going to help you get a positive result against us?
00:08:01
Speaker
So I think last season, when you look at the two games, uh, when wolves with a better team at Molyneux, uh, it ended two, two, we didn't have Alexander Isaac. And then in the home game where we won three nil, Isaac was our best player, arguably alongside Anthony Gordon. So it's one of those where of it's hard to say because.
00:08:25
Speaker
you can't just say Alexander Isaac but for me he's one of the the best strikers in the league and when you've got him and Anthony Gordon quite pacy both love to get in behind it's going to be one of those that if you do pay that play that back four I've got a feeling both Isaac and Gordon will have not a field day but they'll they'll do really well um if you play a back five then you're going to have three center backs and you know all of which can just sort of keep one of which can keep an eye on alexander zach and then if you nullify zach you effectively nullify new castle but our strength will be that swedish superman alexander zach right okay it's that simple it's that simple

00:09:37
Speaker
But you you know that. I don't need to preach that to you, Mike. So, yeah, for this weekend, I think from a wall's perspective, I am I'm hopeful that we can get something from it because looking at the fixtures ahead, as I said, it's going to be really hard. I think um If we can play, we're capable, of the thing is we can we are capable of scoring goals. we We look in control at times in the second half against Arsenal. We pin them back for a large period of the time at Emirates and you know the crowd there went quiet because they could feel, you could tell that they were a little bit shocked by the fact that they were pegged back and both goals kind of came on the counter. And then against Chelsea, the score line doesn't reflect
00:10:22
Speaker
the footage of the game. And I hate I hate the XG stuff, but I absolutely hate it. But all the stats show that that was such a lopsided weird game. And that ah will the Wolves XG was way, way higher. But Chelsea went on and scored six goals just because it was such a bizarre end to end game. Yeah, I was going to ask that actually, because that's the obviously that's the standout game of the Premier League season so far, really, like sort of Where does it go wrong in that game for Wolves? And is there something that you think, you know, against Chelsea you've rectified potentially to stop Newcastle doing the same?

Wolves' Defensive Challenges

00:10:58
Speaker
Yeah, so that I think was the biggest shift against, um that we saw against Forrest, which was the biggest thing. If you look at three of the hat-trick basically um that they that they got for for Chelsea,
00:11:11
Speaker
those three goals are virtually identical. It almost looks like a replay of one goal played again and again. If you watch them back to back, it is identical. Yeah. And the main thing was that for each of them, the left back eight nori was at left back and he basically went walk about because he was pretty much, I think, told it last season. I mean, I don't know how much you know about Nori, but he's very much like he can drive up the field, take the ball, dribble, pass it on people. He's a very attacking. A lot of people say you should actually be playing as left winger.
00:11:39
Speaker
And last season when we had no strikers and no wingers, he was actually put up front for periods because he's the most technical on the ball. And yes, but he's also mainly played as a left wing back, but he's been playing in this back for, and he just went walkabout. And for all three of those goals, he is not there. He's somewhere in the other half of the pitch. And they say they knew that, and they've just gone like, there's the gap, second half. 8-0, he's not doing left back. He should be in left back, but he's not in left back. And they just kept going where he wasn't. And that was that's why it's a complete carbon copy.
00:12:07
Speaker
And in Gary Nealeven said in the press conference afterwards, without name, he was like, we basically had no left back for the three goals. um It was shocking. There's the boss. Yeah, yeah, yeah. i um And then so he would an a and eight and telling Lee eight nor he was like the only senior player that wasn't dropped for the League Cup match against Burnley.
00:12:25
Speaker
and he was put at left back in the same place and it was almost like a you need to you need to go out there and do it again and do it properly and he was more defensively minded still got forward but he definitely was more aware of where he had to be and then when we played Forrest in the league he was not at left back he was in left midfield and Totti the centre back came and played left back and Craig Dawson came back into the middle so he was allowed then the range to to roam. And because he's both a left wing back and a left back, but he was playing in like left wing essentially, that allowed them that formation I spoke about of him being able to almost drop into about five because you've you've got a center back playing at left back who can shift across eight nor he can drop back into the left wing back if he wants to to make it a five all of a sudden. And then it but most of the time he was playing as like a left winger. That made any sense in that ramble. So that was the no makes sense. That was the way it was seemed to be rectified was Gary Neil being like he
00:13:20
Speaker
He wants him. He knows that he's one of the most technically gifted on the pitch. he almost's like He's almost got to be one of the first names on there. But it's like where is where should he best be? And now that they've gone to a back four, he's not as solid as left back as if he was a left wing back.
00:13:35
Speaker
Yeah, so with the game at the weekend, do you think you'll replicate that?

Wolves' Tactical Flexibility

00:13:39
Speaker
I don't know, are you playing left wing sort of instead of left back? Because to be fair, that would be a good way of nullifying Newcastle's wingers. um But at the same time, maybe you allow Bruno Gamara's a little bit more time on the ball if you do that. so it's Yeah. A difficult one for me. Potentially. And that's why I said it is like the talking point, I think, at the moment, because there's a debate. There's also a debate to be had that, you know, we went into that game, zero points. And I think Gary Neil was very aware he wanted to get a points on the board before the international break, not going with zero and and be a bit more. Even though it was still technically a back four for most of the time, be a bit more defensive minded because he had that center back there and shifted everything around. But at home,
00:14:23
Speaker
You know, maybe, maybe he could feel like he could be a bit more dynamic, but then you're such a strong team still. Yeah. And we got the point. So maybe he'll, I honestly don't have a good answer. I don't have a good answer. That is the debate.
00:14:39
Speaker
but 8-0 he may well play in and in the same spot. But we've also got some new signings. It'll be interesting to see how if those come in. um we had We bought so Andre from Brazil in at the last moment on transfer deadline day. He got five minutes. He was linked with Liverpool and stuff but by the season before, wasn't he? so Yeah. I've got to say with that scouting network that Liverpool have got to have something about him. I haven't seen anything about him just yet. Has he played any minutes for you at all?
00:15:06
Speaker
So he he was signed on deadline day, and we were playing the next day. he was on He was on the bench, and he came on for five minutes at the end, made a little cameo just to help like ah defend the with a few minutes to go. um yeah very much He's very much him and Joe Gomez are almost carbon copies. They're very similar like defensive midfielders. And I think he's also played at center back a couple of times. He's very much the tackle, get the ball, play it forward to someone else who's going to do something.
00:15:32
Speaker
um yeah That's his, seems to be his role, but so it's going to be interesting. And he played, they he went off and played for Brazil in the break. He played, interestingly, he played 80 minutes and the guy that came on for him was Jago Mez, our other guy in the same mold. So they're like, they're literally doing the same job for Brazil, which is very intriguing. So yeah, it'd be interesting to see if he, if he starts or or what's going to happen.
00:15:54
Speaker
But let's ask you this then.

Key Wolves Players Discussed

00:15:56
Speaker
Who are you? Is there a particular person or thing about wolves that scares you most? who's the Is there a person on the wolves lineup sheet ah that you think that that's a worry? Or who's who are you most concerned by?
00:16:10
Speaker
Last season for me, it was Wang Hee Chan when he played against Newcastle. I think it was under Steve Bruce. He tore us apart. However, if I go off what isn't just Newcastle games and overall performances, I have to say Mathias Kunier. I was a very, very jealous and bitter man um when he brought them in. And to be honest, i think I think he's a fantastic player. I don't know how Wolves fans feel about him.
00:16:38
Speaker
I don't know, you know, if he's performed, maybe his goals um of just sort of overshadowed performances and stuff, but from what I've seen of him, I think he's probably your most attacking threat um now that Pedro Neto's gone. But yeah, I think I probably do have to say,
00:16:56
Speaker
Konya over Wang Yi Chan just a little bit, but yeah, I think Newcastle fans kind of a bit of PTSD over Wang Yi Chan, so. Yeah, that's interesting to hear you say. And Konya is loved here for so many reasons. So yeah, not not a bad choice at all. He is not just a goal threat because when he first came, he was actually supposedly brought in as a number nine. He's not he' still not a number nine.
00:17:24
Speaker
And we're seeing that now, now that he's got Strandlassen there, who we brought in earlier this summer, now that he has an actual number nine to play off, because Wang was playing that spot, but he's not, again, he's not really a number nine and either. um He can play anywhere on the forward line. But now that we have an actual number nine, Kunyu is playing more of a 10-roll. They couldn't drop deeper like he likes, because like you say, he runs from deep. He's very creative. He's good on the ball. But the reason the Wolves fans love him so much is a few reasons. One is he scored against the Albion. So, I mean, you know, instant legend.
00:17:53
Speaker
It's an instant legend and a celebration for that. I mean, he just because it was it was at the Hawthorns and he's run over and he's just pointed at the badge and then be like, we own this place and circled the stadium with his finger. Fantastic. He's gone down in in history. um But also he is the nicest guy.
00:18:11
Speaker
And he's loved. You watch all the videos, all the chat, all the stuff. He's he's just so nice to everyone that comes in, whether it's a fan, whether it's another player, whether it's press, whoever it is, he's just always got a smile on his face. He's so loving and and just he's a little bit emotional and that can actually get the best of him at times. Sometimes you've seen him lose it. And I don't mean in a he doesn't get violence on the pitch, but you can see it almost gets to him if something's going wrong.
00:18:37
Speaker
that that could yeah that could knock him off course with ah his his emotions. When we lost to Chelsea and he came out and did the press conference, he was practically in tears. You know, you could see it in his eyes of like that and you could hear it in his voice. And from my perspective, I love that he he cares. You can tell he cares, but it was. yeah um You can also see that it almost throws him off a little bit off what he's meant to be doing.
00:18:59
Speaker
Yeah, and I think it's so much easier to to like a footballer when they do have that emotional side to them. I mean, speaking from a Newcastle perspective, similar sort of player in that sort of mental state.

Fan Emotions and Passionate Players

00:19:10
Speaker
I mean, he is a little bit more aggressive, which I don't like, but Bruno Gomadez,
00:19:16
Speaker
get to the point where sometimes he's just a little bit too dirty um once he gets angry. But it's one of those as well that you can really feel the emotion coming from players. And it's the same with CUNY for you. Those emotional sort of players, you know you just get behind them instantly. And you're more likely, if they have a bad game, to still get behind them than those that just sort of sulk and go off down the tunnel.
00:19:39
Speaker
Yeah, exactly. And you can still see it's that thing, isn't it? All Wolves fans, and I'm sure it's the same for yourself, you know, um as long as the play, if the player is out there giving 110% and they're giving everything for this, yeah even if they lose, you don't, obviously you don't want to lose, but even if they lose, but you know, they get, you can see they've given everything. You can still respect it and feel like you, you feel an affinity to them. yeah That's all you want at the end of the days. You just want someone to give as much as you want to give.
00:20:08
Speaker
Yeah, exactly. sounds like Like someone who cares as much as you do, 100%. Yeah. Gosh, that sounds so cheesy. That's what I get for... Hang on. Oh, it's all right. Newcastle a lot are used to me being cheesy, it's fine. Yeah, yeah. I wax lyrical. my My buddy here on Wolves is a lot younger than me, and so like I'm the middle-aged guy who just gets all sentimental and full of empathy and everything. Hey, nothing wrong with that. No, no. and I'm sure you and I have both got millions of stories to tell, which segues me nicely into reminding everyone that if they have a story to tell, the world needs to hear.

The bit that I'm sure everyone is curious about is, and I can see you nodding, so I think you know where I'm going with this.

Score Predictions for Newcastle vs. Wolves

00:21:38
Speaker
You said you hope, you go obviously you hope you're going to win, but what do you think is your prediction for the scoreline this weekend? So I can go with what my head says, so I can go what I feel inside. But my head is saying it's going to be a 1-1. I think we'll score Leon, sit back a little bit, try and hit us again on the counter, and we'll score 60th, 70th minute. And then inside, I'm so um' i'm feeling a 2-0 victory, um to be honest. So I am going to go with that. I think
00:22:12
Speaker
knowing this fixture, it'd probably be the one that Newcastle end up turning up and getting the win in, um just with you know how much has happened sort of in the past. um So yeah, I'm gonna have to go 2-0, I think exactly will be the difference as I've mentioned earlier. So with that, I can see us winning, but it will be tight.
00:22:31
Speaker
yeah Yeah, I can respect that. I think i also think knowing the history of the fixture and and just how we have been recently, I can also see a 1-1 draw, or whether it's 1-1 or 2-1, some kind of score draw, because I think there's there's definitely goals in the game.
00:22:48
Speaker
And I also it will correlate well with my we did our September predictions as I mentioned and in that I said that in this course of fixtures we were gonna draw with you guys cuz I said four points from from the run of three games which was a draw against you guys.
00:23:04
Speaker
a win against the Villa because I have relatives that support them as well. I can't, I just can't, you know, and it's a Derby. It's just down the road. I don't think you could get away with saying you're going to lose to Villa. Exactly. And a draw isn't enough. You know, we, you know, I want that win. So draw against you guys, win against Villa. And then sadly, a loss to Liverpool is what that's what I'm seeing as this. That's my prediction. So I've got to stick with it and agree with you on the score draw.
00:23:28
Speaker
No, I think to be honest, it would probably be a result that I think everyone would like. There's been, to be honest, I was looking earlier at my notes and I've kind of gone against them by saying 2-0 because both teams have scored in the last like nine games between us at Molyneux. So I've kind of gone against the statistics there, but I don't like using them all the time. But yeah, I mean, could you see Wolf sort of sitting back a little bit against Newcastle, letting us have time on the ball? Or no do you think it's going to be end to

Game Expectations: Style and Intensity

00:23:57
Speaker
end?
00:23:57
Speaker
I think, as I said, I think there'll be goals in it. I think it'll be end-to-end again. And ah and again, part of that is seeing the way Gary O'Neill has made us more and more aggressive. ah I mean, we saw, obviously, he last year he got no preseason. He had to come in right before the start and just do what he could.
00:24:15
Speaker
But we saw with the victories over the likes of Man City and Tottenham already pushing in this very kind of pressing game and and really trying to compete ah like a lot of the big teams in that very dynamic and and aggressive way and just keeping people pen back.
00:24:30

This pre-season, as I say, he's wanted to be more on the front foot. After the last few seasons, it's always been a five, as I say, shifted to a four, precisely because he wants an extra man in midfield or up front. He wants to be more aggressive and really be you know in control, winning the ball high, being aggressive. And so we are pushing up with a much higher line, which is why we saw we saw the flurry of goals against Chelsea.
00:24:54
Speaker
because it demands that the people at the back do do what but they need to be and not go walk about. And and it was all that's only what like the second game of the season in this very new style. I say new style, but like we saw elements of it last season. but yeah he's he's He won't want them. He won't want the team to give Newcastle, to give you guys time on the ball. That's not Gary Anil style. He wants them and so to be pressuring all the time. Well, well, not all the time. Let's put that in like all good teams when it's right to push together to get the ball in the right opportunities to win back and get goals. That's where a lot of our goals have come from in recent times.
00:25:31
Speaker
And I think that will be more of the same, which is why there are going to be opportunities on the cancer for you guys. Or, you know, if someone's not doing it, if the push, if the press isn't right and there's a gap, then it all falls apart because it's got to be done. Hasn't it? As a unit, that's if if it's just one or two going, it all kind of it just doesn't work.
00:25:49
Speaker
Yeah, it kind of feels like both teams like to play or looking to play that high intensity press and football. But I know it looks like it has worked for Newcastle so far this campaign. um It's actually our strongest start since 1996, which is insane. Really? But, you know, yeah, um first time was joint top, should I say, picked up seven points when we um when we got into Europe under Alan Pardew.
00:26:16
Speaker
But yeah, less about him. Don't want to hear about headbutts. Yeah, but it's one of those where both teams probably are a little bit disjointed, haven't really got going as much as what they'd think. So one team is going to have a very good Sunday and it could kick off their season, but I've got to feel a little bit of a draw, unfortunately. But I'm going to stick with the two now.
00:26:42
Speaker
gonna stick with the tune. Okay, okay. Well, I'm sticking with that draw. And as I say, I think, um and like you mentioned earlier, because ah we spoke about our running, I think from a and I keep great trying to read the reason I'm saying this is I keep trying to reassure both myself and the walls community out there that given this very tough start that we have with the fixtures, I don't think it's going to be ah easy to tell where wolves are at and until closer to Christmas like once this shift gets over because it is such a weird start um that I think once we start competing against you know more of the mid tier and below that we're going to start getting a better picture of of where wolves are and plus hopefully settle into that formation so I'm telling everyone not to panic because I feel like it's just it's a misnomer and I also think that that is going to be
00:27:32
Speaker
And I feel that that's the same for everyone out there like yourselves and everyone else looking from above. It's very easy to glance at the table, three games in. And we got, you know, everyone said last season, Wars will be in a relegation battle. And in the end, it was nice and it was all safe way early. And we were pushing at one point, if it wasn't for injuries, we were pushing for that last European spot.
00:27:51
Speaker
So um I think I think it is very easy for teams to misjudge based on the heavy defeat against Chelsea, which was a misnomer. And I don't think you will see again because Gary Neil is too much of a.
00:28:05
Speaker
study hound to let that happen again. So I think it's going to be an interesting season. But I wish you guys the best to look for the rest of the season, obviously not against us. You too. But the rest of the time. Yeah, I was going to say. like Unfortunately, you're going to lose on Sunday. I'm going to be confident. I'm going to put that out there into the world. ah yeah Are you coming down to Sonny Wolverhampton or are you watching it from afar?
00:28:32
Speaker
I'll be watching it from afar, unfortunately, but I would love to. I've got friends who are down in, ah well, Midland sort of area, so it would have been nice, but unfortunately now ah I'll be cheering Eddie Howe and the boys on from afar.
00:28:48
Speaker
Nice, nice. Well, and next time you do make it down, obviously we'll have to get together, but it's been awesome. It's been awesome. um I am gonna, I think, unless, is there anything else you want to say to, whether it's the Newcastle fans or, you know, the Wolves fans or anyone out there before we call it a day?
00:29:05
Speaker
No, I mean, I will just add a few things in there. For those that are you know looking at sort of what to expect from the game, both teams are currently joined at the top for yellow cards. Both are joined in the top four for fouls conceded and both of both are in the top four for fouls conceded. So you're looking for high intensity. You're also going to get a lot of fouls, a lot of yellow cards, and a lot of shots on goal. So it should be an absolutely fantastic game. These are great nuggets. I wish. Yeah, you should drop those bombs earlier. I can believe it on the yellow cards, though, as I mentioned, just because of like the likes of it's on. It's on. Like if there was a walls bingo, then it is on there. The jaguar will get a yellow card in the first half at some point. I mean, it's just it's just forgiven. Yeah, it is absolutely a given. He's one of those. They call him the po they call him the pit bull for a reason.
00:29:58
Speaker
All right. On that bombshell, I'm going to let i'm going to let Michael go. um We'll call it a day, but take care of everyone out there. and Best of luck, obviously, to Wolves on the weekends. And it was great. we'll when We'll see how it goes. Take care, everyone.
00:30:14
Speaker
yeah
