Curse of Strahd Ep. 3: Death House Pt. 2

Greetings to all our goblins, gremlins, geists and ghosts... we're back with the next part of the notorious Death House!
Last time (on Dragon Ball Z) The Pointy Ear Gang made their way through the woods, through the fog, the mist, and the gloom. They arrived on the other side, and were greeted by two children. Sadly, neither of them were Jimothy, but we will find him one day. The children, Rose and Thorn, pleaded for our help - their parents and little baby brother were still inside the house. Our compassionate band of boys were up to the task, and helped the kids find safety in a shed outside the house.
The gang scouted the perimeter, Vesz'rak did some freaky warg shit with his spider familiar, until finally they entered the mansion, where they made some grim discoveries along the way... most notably, the skeletons of the children, Rose and Thorn. Questions, questions...
All great mysteries will be revealed in time. Terrors await us in this 3rd episode of Curse of Strahd, and we are just...getting...started...

Haunted House Exploration Begins

Each of them approached by somebody, whether it be a group or somebody, a friend even, to investigate some werewolf attacks. The gang set off into the woods and were enveloped by mist, coming upon a house with two children out front asking for help. Their names rose and thorn. The characters entered the house, which appeared to be haunted.

There's two doors down over this way. There's a door to the, to the north and a door to the south. And then there's this wall, but the wall itself is a, uh, there's a staircase within that.
Combat with the Ghostly Nursemaid

that goes from the attic all the way down to the basement. The door to it, however, is in this south room. And as you sort of are doing that, Gil and Vesrak, you guys see Lancelot, the dog move through your guys legs, nuzzling up, uh, Vesrak against your like inner thigh and then Gil rubs up against yours as it moves between your legs and gets to this door and it starts growling.

As, as he's doing that, Roy, when you enter the room, you see a one of the sheets move and you arm yourself, reach for your, reach for your sword and popping out its its head, popping out, looking at you as the familiar, completely shadowed face of a jackal. as he runs past you to the corner of the room back here in the Northwest. And as he does slams into the wall, you notice the secret door that heads from the attic to the basement.

The door slides open, and you see a spiral staircase that heads down as you take a look down at not only to the basement, but to every floor. um It goes all the way down to the basement. As that's happening, Valerius and Vesrak, you inspect the house and Valerius, you don't see much that you missed. um You get the sense that there is a There's a secret room on the second floor that looks almost like, like in this little toy version, there's like bookshelves in it.

It had these um these wolves, these stuffed wolves in there. You see in there, one of the floorboards is a trap floorboard that could open and go to the basement.
