Speaker: Hello everyone and welcome to a pass through time. My name is Dakota, your PM, your DM, your GM, and sitting to my left is someone who still hasn't fixed those broken keyboards on her desk.

Speaker: It's me, Evelyn, and yeah, it's, it's, don't know if can hear this typing, it's nonsense. It's really not working because it's broken.

Speaker: specifically the um Specifically the null character key is broken. i can't type any null characters today for some reason. um But I can type every other character just fine.

Speaker: Null character? Is that like an actual key? Or are you just talking about like... takingw i understand what that character key is. Maybe you should explain that for everyone else.

Speaker: No, because null means nothing. I'm assuming you mean like a key that does nothing. Like null character is it's literally it's literally like ASCII code point zero. And most strings actually don't like like and it's the joke is you wouldn't really you wouldn't normally type a null character.

Speaker: um Null characters are usually used to terminate strings. So if you're you know, if your character, if your like string contains a null character, that's going to cause problems. Hold on a second. Does that mean the character has... Does the null character have more or less data than a backspace? Because a backspace deletes data, right?

Speaker: So would a null character having doing nothing have more data than the backspace key? Does that make the backspace key the least valuable key?

Speaker: No, they're both considered control characters. So, for example, um um for example like the new line character, I think, is... There's two types. There's carriage return and there's line feed.

Speaker: um Line feed, I believe, is ASCII code point 10. And backspace is... me see. Backspace character...

Speaker: We just need the sign that has the sound goes with the sounding. The more you know.

Speaker: Backspace is number eight. i know we're I know we're in like the entrance of it, I'm like, actually intrigued. What is the difference between a line feed and what do you call it? Next line? Carriage return. Carriage return.

Speaker: Carriage return. Because those are both tied to the entry key, aren't they? Yeah, yeah. So on different operating systems, um like I think Windows does a carriage return and then a line feed, but like Unix systems, you know, Mac and Linux both just do just the line feed.

Speaker: Okay, so what is the function of a line feed and what is the function of a character return? They do the same thing. Okay, so does one operating system do both? Yeah, on typewriters...

Speaker: Carriage Return would just bring the thing that prints characters on a piece paper. The Carriage Return would just bring it back to the beginning of the line.

Speaker: And then Line Feed would bring it down to the next line. And that's why you needed both. Ah, I see, I see. So line feed is bringing the, is rolling the paper up one and character return is sliding the stamp all the way back to the left.

Speaker: Ah, I see. Okay, gotcha. Yeah. And then the backspace just goes back one character. Um, all right. I'm glad we've got this riveting discussion out of the way. I think we have some other co-hosts though.

Speaker: That's point taken.

Speaker: And sitting to my left is someone who is currently listening to our third cousin podcast, which is definitely not affiliated with us in any way. The indicator by Planet Money. Yep. 100 percent.

Speaker: We know exactly what that is. It's pretty great. It totally exists. Don't look for it. Um, I'm Eli, and sitting across from me is someone who knows the entire history of typewriters.

Speaker: Sorry. Um, what?

Speaker: Um, of course I heard what he said. Um, yes, I'm that. Did he really not hear what he said? No. ar only heard writers.

Speaker: If you guys are curious why I had an exclamation in the middle of that, Tupy almost pushed my keyboard off my desk. Oh. do it Do we want to retake that real quick? No, I'm fine. okay.

Speaker: It's me, Jake playing Walter. Walter!

Speaker: Alright, and... With that, I guess ah we will just hop right into the roll for recap. don't even know my day, so... This is just chaotic. Okay, everyone. Everyone get your G4s out.

Speaker: Yeah, my cat is throwing shit everywhere. me Get down. Come on, buddy. but Knock the keyboard off my desk.

Speaker: c Yeah, well he's like he's like right between my monitor and my what he was like right to my monitor my keyboard He was like stretching out. He almost kicked my keyboard under my lap Okay, everyone roll your three I rolled my all right also three

Speaker: Able one? Oh, there we go a three Would you guys believe it if I said that I also rolled a four? Ah, yes. no Yes, I would. yeah ah Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker: So, um, what last episode, uh, you guys got stuck in a time loop. You guys ended up heading towards... Oh, no. I forgot the name of the town.

Speaker: Um, you guys ended up heading towards the train station. I gotta scroll up and find the name of the town. Everyone posted it at some point. Yeah, you wrote it down somewhere. There it is. Shangalo City.

Speaker: um So you guys ended up heading towards the train station so that way you guys could take the train towards Shangalo City, upon which you guys would go on foot to Bree's home city, where the last known location of Bob Dawson was.

Speaker: um So, following that lead, you guys went to the train station, you guys got on the train, but realized there was some shenanigans afoot. Every time US players would roll your dice, you guys would end up going to a random point in time.

Speaker: I don't think i ever actually explained that in episode, but that was the mechanic. Every time one of the players rolled a dice, they would um go to a random point in time that was already established in the episode.

Speaker: I think there was one exception to this. I accidentally missed the time when Eli rolled for intrusive thoughts. That never led to any at time shenanigans.

Speaker: But that was the one outlier and that was my bad. So, um you guys ended up figuring out ah you that there was a storage car in the back of the train that had something that was shaking the car.

Speaker: Upon Walter phasing- not phasing, he destroyed- did you destroy the door the side of the car? I don't remember. I destroyed everything. It the door because the door was locked and he said, no screw the lock, gonna break the door. Okay. For what? I thought it was the side. Where the umbrium was in?

Speaker: Yeah. It was the other train. I went through the wall, then the door. Yeah. that so he To enter the train in that moment, he broke through the side of the car of the train and then rushed back to the storage car and broke down the door. Okay.

Speaker: Also, shit. I had a counter to the whole absolute mover thing. We had to make a roll for it. No, I had a mechanic for i forgot what it was.

Speaker: We'll bring that up next time. I don't think I wrote it down. so that um I get another day of unmovable-ness. So, when I remember what I had what i was supposed to have written down, that'll go into effect.

Speaker: But, for now, um Walter was able to smash through the side of the sidecar door, which did not which did not require any rolls, and thus did not send them back or forth in time.

Speaker: Upon entering the car, you guys... Well, Walter ah found a black void very similar to the ones you got the one you guys found in Arc 1 Episode 2.

Speaker: Yeah. Did we have Arc Zero? No, we didn't do Arc Zero. Man, that was two years ago. Almost. Oh, shit. That was a long time ago.

Speaker: you ended up getting a little bit paralyzed with fear, um upon which the others... came upon me yeah it came upon you and saw the rift as well, at which point the rift formed into a shadowy, flickering Umbreon.

Speaker: ah it's It's kind of like made of fire, but it's shadow its a shadow Umbreon. Not from ah not from what's that game that Gen 3 game. Well, there was Colosseum and XDL of Darkness that had a shadow going on.

Speaker: Colosseum was one I was thinking of. ah Yeah, it is has nothing to do with those. i think Eli reminded me that Shadow Pokemon existed at all after a recording last time. It just has absolutely nothing to do with that. I forgot those existed.

Speaker: So, ah right. and With that, that is where we left off. You guys are entering the battle with the Shadow Umbreon. So, Jake, what move are we jumping on into, Wes?

Speaker: We are going to Force Palm in. Force palm? Did you randomly generate that or did just look at your character sheet? Um, shut up. Okay, let us force palm in. Alright, epic music starts. is time for a battle.

Speaker: I need everyone to roll AD speed. wait we don't do anymore. no we do do that i forgot how battles were we just add them right what yeah yeah we just uh we just use the aggregate yeah yeah everyone roll these wait yeah roll d speed at the amount jesus i can't remember how to do um roll a d24 all alright Alright, got mine. I need a d9, but I got rolled a d10. Alright, swear to god, if you guys get lower than what I just rolled... I got an 8.

Speaker: I also got an 8.

Speaker: Um... I got a... I rolled like three times. I'll give you my first roll, which was a 2. Okay.

Speaker: Karu's not having a good day. So yeah, I think that's what, 18? And with that... Hello. If my notes would load, i need to write down some stuff.

Speaker: So, um, one thing I noticed from previous battles, you guys seem to not be very enthusiastic about, um, choosing who goes in what order. So, I'm going to,

Speaker: I'm simply going to, oh my god, my computer is lagging out, holy shit. Jeez. Hold on. Technical difficulties. We are professionals, people.

Speaker: Professionals at work here. Jesus Christ. Two years of experience here. i saw I just opened a Google Doc so I could write down some, ah so I could write down the character order and my computer just went down to like two FPS.

Speaker: Jesus. Oh darn. Okay. Do you have like a lot of tabs open? I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight tabs open that are related to this battle, so. yeah My room is indeed being used.

Speaker: Any extensions? okay you got No, I don't have any extensions open. Okay, so what I want to do is I want you guys to now choose preemptively who goes in what order, and we're just going to stick with that you guys don't have to discuss that every time.

Speaker: So, your guys' group goes first because you guys rolled way higher than the Umbreon did. I'm going to roll 8 out of 24. I'd like to volunteer to go first because all my moves can inflict something if I hit.

Speaker: So it could be good for you guys afterwards. long told lock lockter Alright, and... Alright, who else wants to go next?

Speaker: just be I want to go next. Alright, Evelynn. Not Evelynn. Hikaru. Hikaru. Yeah. Hikaru and Bruce. get thirteen Now that I have i have a a move that affects my speed, Trailblaze, will that affect the initiative order at all? on or No, it shouldn't.

Speaker: You guys are already way ahead, so unless you're reducing your speed by over half of the entire group's speed by over half, it won't matter. Okay. Because it's a difference of 18 8, so

Speaker: oh If you get a negative speed you just start walking backwards. No, you just start... What? What is slower than moving in slow motion?

Speaker: what it so slow than moving in slow motion Not moving at all. Yeah, I think if you're know at negative speed you just stop moving. You can only use that special moves. You can't use any movement anymore.

Speaker: I don't know if you're gonna do this, but i'm so scared of our first attack. As soon as I roll we get reset. okay I'll be so mad on that happens. Okay, so before this starts, need to do something.

Speaker: Don't worry about what I'm doing right now. Oh, lair action. He's doing his lair action. I forgot about something. Hold on one second. I need to set something up. Oh, we have a timer. Goodie. ah ah Don't worry about this. You guys don't need to worry about this.

Speaker: Alright, so, um ah now the battle is starting. So, it is now Wolotr's turn. Or, sorry, Wolotr, as I wrote it down in my notes. Wolotr is still freaking out. He's like, he's over this stupid mechanic. Why are we setting?

Speaker: He's charging with the Force Palm.

Speaker: Okay. So, you got Force Pump. Go ahead and roll accuracy. Um, that's 17. Oh, God! It's already... Okay, well so, um... Hey, I hit before that went off!

Speaker: I hit before that went off! Okay, so, I can't implement this in the audio because I don't know how to have the audio... ah So what I have right now is I have a timer that goes that is randomly generated from 20 seconds to five minutes I hit start and it creates a timer ah Randomly between that time whenever this timer goes off something will happen.

Speaker: I Have a list here. I'm going to roll a d10 Whatever number that rolls on something will happen All right, all right Okay, some of these some of these things won't get revealed until you actually take your action.

Speaker: But, uh, and some of them will happen immediately. So I have a list of 10 things that'll happen. I just rolled an 8. Uh, Walter, uh, what are you- you said you're using Force Palm.

Speaker: Yeah. Okay. Uh, also I want to state that these random things could help you or hurt you. It is chaos energy. There is chaos energy emanating around you.

Speaker: Random things will happen at random times. don't like change. So,

Speaker: you want to change what no i don't like change don't do this okay so go ahead and roll for force pump go ahead roll like this okay cool you get a nat 20. nope 20. on a super effective move sweet eight active player gets a nat 20 on their next roll so you roll a crit next roll he already got he already no the timer went off before the timer Uh, did it?

Speaker: Yeah, he rolled the 17 before the timer went off. He said 17. Why are you not helping? All right, Eli is bringing the team down. he gets a nat 20 on his next roll, though.

Speaker: So it just means that he gets... Active player gets a nat 20 on the next roll. If he doesn't roll a nat 20 on this roll, it's null.

Speaker: All right. Walter, you rolled 17 on your Force Palm. That will hit. I could have paralyzed them! ahead and win damage. You paralyzed them? I could have. if I rolled a 20.

Speaker: Oh, okay. All right, go ahead and roll damage. right, 46. Since it's super effective. Also, by the way, the timer will start on the next active player's turn. Okay. All right.

Speaker: No, wait, super effective is all the damage calculations happen and then it's just multiplied by two. It's not double the damage base. Yeah. It's just straight up double damage, not double the roll stuff. Alright, so it'd be 12, 20 times 2, 40.

Speaker: Wait, wait, do add my attack modifier before double it?

Speaker: Hold on, what did you roll for your damage? for or sorry Before the doubling, what did you roll? and super perfect but I need he i need to know what you i need you i need to know what you've rolled before your doubling.

Speaker: For reasons. Yeah, because you gotta subtract def- So you do the rolls, you get the damage for the move, you add your attack, subtract the defense, and then times two.

Speaker: Okay, I need to know what damage you do after or before doubling. alright. So go ahead and give me your roll damage plus your attack. Alright, so that's... 18... 40 before doubling.

Speaker: Jesus, 40 and that's attack? Yep. Alright, cool. You do 21 damage. Is that before doubling? jesus forty and that's attack ye all right cool you do twenty one damage that for doubling Oh, that's after. Okay. cause you got um you got minus then dumb oh Oh, they got a 30 defense. Okay.

Speaker: Or they're not a dark type. Oh, that's true. He wouldn't let me roll super in effect. Oh, true. Okay. It is now... to start the timer again. ah It is now Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: Woo! Okay. I'm going to start with... where I'm gonna start with my newest move, Trailblaze! Okay, what does Trailblaze do?

Speaker: So, it does um it does damage and then increases your speed by two points. Wait, hold on. Did you say... Sorry, say that again? Does... deals damage and then increases the user's speed by two points.

Speaker: Okay, for some reason, I thought you said it doubles your damage. I just misheard you. My bad. Okay. No. Well, uh... not have gone in And while it won't affect the initiative order, it does help.

Speaker: Yeah, wait it'll it'll affect your electroball damage. Alright, go ahead and roll damage.

Speaker: Seven. Oh! um Wait a second, I had to roll roll accuracy and I rolled seven, which beats six. Yeah, that'll... Yep, that works. Yeah.

Speaker: Damage dice is one d eight plus eight.

Speaker: Grab that one. Let me grab that D8 real quick. It's at the very bottom of my dice container. There we go. Also, I might increase this timer to maximum 10 minutes. this is going by a little fast.

Speaker: Either that or you guys they just start speeding speed running your turns. Alright. is 2. Plus 8 is 10. Plus Hikaru's attack, which is 9. So 19. Minus Umbreon's defense.

Speaker: Alright. Minus your defense. You will do 1 damage. Oh boy, it's tough. Oh boy. Alright, next up is Bruce. Yeah, go ahead and raise your speed by 10.

Speaker: Yeah, so I'd say, just just real quick, instead of like increasing the maximum, I'd say increase the minimum for the timer. 20 seconds seems a bit short.

Speaker: Maybe do like 1 minute to 5 minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can do that too. Yeah. So what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna try... and I got this new move, I kinda wanna try it out. I'm gonna try a play rough.

Speaker: Okay. And I get a three. Which does not beat the accuracy of eight. So that's gonna miss. Alright, so Shadow the Umbreon, I'm just naming him Shadow because yes.

Speaker: Shadow the Umbreon is going to go next and he is going to use dig. So... Wait,

Speaker: how are you digging on a train? That's a good question. Yeah! question how me so So this thing is digging through the bottom of the train and is now outside the train?

Speaker: Alright, he rolled a 12. It's like in...

Speaker: it's ah it's It's his turn. ah So, as he digs through the ground... I don't even know if anything's gonna happen because this is the end of his turn. As he's digging through It's like in Stadium 2 where he just spins in a circle while standing still and he just somehow digs through the ground.

Speaker: He's gonna roll a 4. Didn't know he was an ex-cadule.

Speaker: Okay, cool. ah It is now... don't like that. It is now Walter's turn. Shadow hates waffles. He's really um angry about the waffles on the train.

Speaker: He hates the waffles. I am so stuck what we should try to do since he's underground.

Speaker: Is there any crates anywhere? Yes, there are crates around you. They have all sorts of items. They have like ah like nails and Walter's gonna walter is going to say jump up on the crates before he gets back up as he will try to jump on on top of a crate. actually Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker: Gotcha. Alright, so you hop up on a crate. Are you not taking any movement? Um, Walter's gonna try to make as much vibrations or noise to make him come from him because out of everyone here, he'll get damaged the least from this.

Speaker: So he's trying to bait him to come to him. Uh, okay. Um, cause I'm assuming he can't see on the ground. So I'm guessing he's just going off sound and vibration.

Speaker: Okay. Um, okay.

Speaker: I want you to pick a number from one to four. Three.

Speaker: and Okay. Alright. If the number I've rolled, which was a three, matched to what you said, then i was going to automatically give it to you. Otherwise, i' was going to do it normally. There's a 25% chance of taunting him.

Speaker: So, ah he will go for you next turn. Alright. Will me getting on the crank give him any disadvantage or no? Uh...

Speaker: Yes, holy shit. And it's the end your turn. Um, so... Alright, with a 9, a random object appears. Random noun generator.

Speaker: Alright, so, it's a pocket in front of Walter. In front of Walter. I'm gonna keep rolling until I find something that makes sense, because I rolled a virus. virus. I'm floating.

Speaker: I found the COVID that a t-shirt floats in front of you, just appearing out of nowhere, and falls on the ground. And with that, it is now Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: Okay, what am I gonna do? ah The... Because the Umbreon is underground um right now, so... Oh, if he's using Dig, i better I better get to safety real quick. Is there anything I can jump on?

Speaker: There's crates. You can... Yeah, there's basically just crates around you. There's crates and boxes full of goods that are being delivered to somewhere. Walter did say jump on the crates.

Speaker: Alright, I'm gonna jump on another crate, um

Speaker: but I'm gonna jump like pretty high. Alright, I'm gonna say yeah you managed to like jump up on a crate that's like somewhat next to Walter, and yeah, so you were up off the ground like a good leg, 5 6 feet.

Speaker: Oh, and I forgot to use my bonus action last turn, but... Oh yeah, you guys do have bonus actions. I can play with you out of power. If you guys have any moves that are applicable. Actually, Walter, I don't think you have any moves that are bonus actions. No, I got rid of Quick Attack, yeah, so... Yeah, you have no bonus actions.

Speaker: I'm here for high damage, and that's it. Okay. Yeah. Sorry. Okay, so... Okay, so is that the end of your turn, Evelyn? I believe so.

Speaker: Bruce, you are up. Alright, Bruce is gonna use quick attack to just like, you know, to... As a bonus action or regular action? a Regular action, it doesn't matter.

Speaker: I'm assuming it's gonna miss. Okay. I mean, yes, there's a 0% chance of hitting, so yes, it'll miss. Perfect. Sounds good. There we go. I know exactly what you're doing.

Speaker: You sure do. I know exactly what you're doing. ah sure do. You played right into my hands using Dig.

Speaker: Okay, alright. you have a move for that? And with that shadow, Umbreon is going to burst out of the ground and he is going to go for Walter. He heard you underground talking shit about him and he is going to go ahead and... Does he mean on a Kraken at any disadvantage?

Speaker: Uh, no. Not at all. Um, let's see. Because he bursts out of the ground and just smacks you in the face with an 11 plus 10.

Speaker: 21 plus 6 is 27 so you're gonna take 27 minus your defense. Alright, what type of damage is this? ah It's neutral. my god. Ground.

Speaker: yeah It's neutral. So what was it again? The damage? 27 minus your defense. my gosh. Alright, 17. twenty seven minus year my gosh i seventeen

Speaker: Okay, I'm down to 8 HP. Jesus Christ, how much of a glass cannon are you? I only have 25 HP. Fucking Christ, dude. Okay, it is now Walter's turn.

Speaker: I have not been able to put anything in my HP because there's no level up bonus there. There's like nothing there for Yeah, because it it levels up every turn automatically.

Speaker: I've not seen my HP go up at all. Well, there's items I can increase their HP. Alright, um... My turn again? Yes, it is now your turn. Man, if only had countered.

Speaker: how That could have struck him. Alright, he's gonna get smacked. It's gonna be like the thing where he just licks the lips after a blood get... After he gets smacked, he licks his lips like, alright, alright.

Speaker: He is gonna use... Thunder Punch. As he is just... I imagine he just reaches back and like like scratches the arm on a car and his entire arm just gets electric and punches.

Speaker: Okay. I like it. Alright. Go ahead and roll for Thunder Punch. Alright. Nat 20! Oh my god. i Okay.

Speaker: Alright. Jesus Christ. Okay, go ahead and roll max, or you take max damage, roll one extra damage die, whatever's listed. Alright, let's see. 16, that's 26, and you're gonna roll

Speaker: another Alright, 28 um, hold on, I gotta do some math here. Too much math. Um, 28 plus 22. twenty eight plus twenty two 50 damage. 50 damage. 50 allergic and he is paralyzed.

Speaker: Is that defense or special defense?

Speaker: All of Walter's moves are physical. All physical. That'll do 31 damage.

Speaker: Alright.

Speaker: Alright. Now, um he is paralyzed. What is paralyzed? You just have to forget with the roll... rules You just have to roll every turn. If you beat a 10, you get to move.

Speaker: If you beat 15, you're not paralyzed anymore. Got it. Okay, gotcha. Okay. Alright, it is now Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: Yo, and you you did it with a Thunder Punch too! Yeah. Alright, I am gonna go for... Ooh.

Speaker: next Oh, timer! Timer, timer, timer! It's chaos time! And with a d10, you roll another 9. A random object appears in front of you.

Speaker: And this time... Do you have a sister? What? I rolled a random noun, it says sister.

Speaker: Wait, what? A so ah duplicate clone of Hikaru appears who is neutral to the battle. Oh, okay. It just says, hello there, I am your sister.

Speaker: You can do with this what you will or just ignore but your quote unquote sister has appeared next to you. Even though I'm pretty sure you don't have a sister. Alright.

Speaker: Well, i'm gonna I'm gonna home in with an Electro Ball. Oh, that should do more because it isn't his speed, Dolph West. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah! Totally meant to do that! There we go. Hold on. I definitely didn't get lucky. Oh, okay.

Speaker: I was mistaken. It's 16 plus. Paralysis is healed. Okay. If it helps, his speed is 12. Okay. ah That is after paralysis. His speed is 12 for your calculations.

Speaker: okay Okay, I just rolled a 19. Electro ball will hit, and with a with a current speed of 15, the damage dice will be 2d6 plus 10. Okay.

Speaker: So let me get my d6 out.

Speaker: Also, yes, his standard speed is 24 normally. Duh. the that's That's right. Electroball works differently in this game, in the system.

Speaker: Electroball is just your speed divided by two is the damage base. Oh, okay. I thought it was based on... Okay, that's why it was... ah So, does Paralysis not take into into account... Oh, okay, so Electroball doesn't interface with that ah yeah Paralysis like it does in the main game. Nope, it doesn't. Oh, that sucks.

Speaker: it's um That's a little nerfed. Okay. Huh. Gotcha. There goes the wombo combo. It takes out the unpredictability of note of having to know what your opponent's speed is.

Speaker: Like, your opponent could be a high speed or a low speed. Thus, you're only good against low speed characters. So it's it takes out that unpredictability and it makes Electro Ball scale with your speed rather than your opponent's speed.

Speaker: Right, only your speed. ye Yeah. So I'm dealing special.

Speaker: So 17 special damage plus Hikaru's attack. That makes 28. 28 special? Yes. That'll do 8 damage.

Speaker: Ooh, okay. lord And I'm gonna go for a bonus action. oh right, bonus actions. Thank you for remembering. Alright, what does my bonus action be?

Speaker: um Let's go for Charm. Oh, okay. What does Charm do? It um it lowers the foe's attack by four points.

Speaker: And I have rolled a 16, that'll hit. Alright, minus four? Yes. All right, minus four. That is actually quite substantial. Okay. Yes. All right, Bruce, you are up.

Speaker: Yeah, and I think you you've already figured out what Bruce is doing. bru Bruce is i good nick are yeah but bru's getting pretty frustrated that he's missed two moves now. His temper is flaring a little bit. Yeah.

Speaker: to say You could say his temper is flaring a tad. You beat me to it.

Speaker: And that's a 13. So back to that will hit. He was really hoping you'd miss.

Speaker: I've got... Why are you hoping I'd miss? I've got a damage base. I could tell the Coda was hoping you'd miss because heard that. God damn it. So this damage base should be times two.

Speaker: So power of 16 is be 5d10 plus Good god. What? Wow.

Speaker: Jesus Christ. Okay.

Speaker: Actually, this fine. Okay. This is fine. Everything's fine. This is fine. and two that i'll be ten eighteen twenty six twenty nine lost my special attacks ah Oh, great. Plus 20, so it'll be 49.

Speaker: Plus my special attack is 59. 59? Yeah, 59 special fire damage. Big damage. You said 59? Yeah.

Speaker: That'll do 39 damage.

Speaker: Walter's not the only one who can deal big damage. don't like this no more. The Umbreon is looking a little tired now.

Speaker: Oh shit. Delmarine's like, all that effort. Oh shit, forgot to start the timer. ah forgot to start the timer. Fuck it. Umberon just pulls a Thanos, all that effort just for a little blood. Okay.

Speaker: ah Oh, are you doing anything with your bonus action? Oh yeah, i might as well throw out a quick attack. Is that going to be a disadvantage because it's a bonus action? or ah no you No, just regular? It's rolled normal, it's just that the damage is halved.

Speaker: Ah, right. That's a 12. So that's going to be one d eight plus 6 divided by 2. And that's haved that's halved after your staff. Okay. That's a 6. It'll be 12. 22.

Speaker: that'll be... It's probably not even going to It's going to do 1 damage. Yeah, it's going to do 1 damage. yeah Damage is damage? now It is now Shadow's turn.

Speaker: Shadow is going to go for a Substitute. He is, um, in this game, it says yeah can use an HP that I choose to create a decoy. I create decoy with X amount of damage. Oh, interesting. Yeah, it says use HP, choose a number to create a decoy. All foes will aim for that decoy until it is defeated.

Speaker: So I will allocate 30 HP to the Substitute. Too bad we don't have area moves. and the Umbreon moves outside of the river gasses field where you can no longer see it.

Speaker: In its place is a little plush doll. oh Oh, wait, and you have to roll for the elephants. Oh yeah! Yes I do. Yes I do. Uh, 12. So it's not cured, but it does happen.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, it is now, um, it is now Walter's turn. Does Walter like see this little puppet now? He's like, huh. And it's your worst enemy.

Speaker: You have to attack it. like If it's a puppet, Walter reaches back and now scratches Bruce as he goes for a fire punch. He's like, I'll just burn this sucker. Okay, okay, go for it.

Speaker: Look how, how I going to ice punch? Who am I going to scratch? Where's... He just reaches down to Selina. Where's Selina? Yeah, where's Selina at? Uh-oh. Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker: Walter touches his heart. It's the coldest thing he knows. Alright, 10. Yep, that'll hit. Oh my gosh, okay. 17. That's 38. wait, 39. 39, that'll do 20 damage.

Speaker: Alright. I fire damage the doll. thirty eight no wait thirty nine thirty nine that willll do twenty damage right fire damage to the dog Alright.

Speaker: Yeah, so it has 10 HP left. Okay. um Anything. You cannot do bonus moves, so... So it is now Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: Okay. What am I gonna do next? We basically gotta take out this decoy as quickly as possible. um Does the decoy have a type?

Speaker: ah Nope. It is typeless. Okay. Um, thunder and does it do anything? It's staring at you menacingly.

Speaker: It's just standing there. Menacingly. Alright, I'm gonna go for a... I'm gonna go for an Electro Ball plus a Trailblaze.

Speaker: I don't think either Trailblaze or Electro Ball is bonus action applicable. No, Trailblaze is bonus action applicable. Is it? It's less than 4 base power.

Speaker: Oh, what? Hold on. I don't have the definition for it because don't have 4.3, but bonus actions have to be... Oh, does it does. It is here.

Speaker: Base power is 5. Base power after move level ups is equal to or less than 4. Right. Equal to... Oh.

Speaker: Well, uh, problem is my, uh, my bonus action applicable is not, um, auto-updating. Yeah, it doesn't auto-update. You have to manually update it.

Speaker: I'm gonna have to- might have to throw in a formula and send it to the rest of you guys. I was gonna do that until my 4.3 got deleted. a So, that ain't happening. Oh, Timer, timer, timer. It is time for more chaos.

Speaker: Hikaru, what fate do you get with a seven? ah Oh, fun. Okay, continue on. Alright. right um Nothing happened. That's not at all scary.

Speaker: That's all be fine. Alright. okay alright I'm gonna use Electro Ball. Alright, go ahead and roll for it.

Speaker: 18, it hits. Nice, a one. Active player gets a nat one on their next roll. On their next roll? Yep. Oh no.

Speaker: Yep, you get a nat one and you'd the electro ball explodes in your face. Oof. I think it's like roll damage, take half of that. Is that what it is? Yeah, it's just the damage dice divided by two.

Speaker: Just the damage. So the 2d6 plus 10? No, just... Yeah, so read it'll just be 2d6 divided by 2, I believe. Am I thinking wrong?

Speaker: In one region, wasn't Electro-types just immune to all-electric? No. It's just that now, Electro-types are immune to being paralyzed now Oh no, I'm thinking of electric types that have the ability that can absorb electricity.

Speaker: Oh, motor drive. You're thinking of lightning rod. Lightning rod and motor drive and vault absorb. That's what people... I'm sorry, but most and most every electric type in anime has that ability.

Speaker: well I think one of Hikaru... I think Pikachu's hidden ability might be Lightning Rod. Yes, it is. Which would not be good in this case. Because then Walter would able use Thunder Punch.

Speaker: um yeah, that's true. When Walter uses Thunder Punch, it redirects towards Hikaru. Why is my fist going this way? why does everyone I be around i have to punch?

Speaker: Okay, um, right. So, uh, what damage did you take? So I rolled a 4 plus 6, it's a 10. And I think I'm gonna divide that by 2, right? Yeah, divide it by 2.

Speaker: Do you have any bonus actions you can take? Uh... I do. I'm gonna go for a quick attack. Right, you'll a quick attack.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: two that'll miss okay yeah that'll miss um it is now i'm really not doing well today bruce's turn all right bruce is seeing this substitute it's it's it's glaring at him he's feeling like scratching it a bit glaring he's gonna go for a fury swipes oh boy okay go ahead and how does your swipes work again i never remember Okay.

Speaker: So and it's changed a lot of times. In this version of the sheet, it says roll D4 plus one. This is how many chances you have. role accuracy for each chance.

Speaker: Gotcha. Okay. So... They make it OP, then they take it away. Then they make it OP again, and they take it away.

Speaker: look at that. That's a three, so I get four chances. Okay. So you get the Ruin Bowl D20 four times. Four d twenty

Speaker: D20s. Well, okay. I got a five, an eight, an 11, and 12. So I get to do... I'm like three times. Twice, because it's an accuracy of ten. Okay.

Speaker: Oh, it's an accuracy of 10. Okay, gotcha. Yeah, it's kind it's a pretty high accuracy. Okay, gotcha. it'll be 1d6 plus 3 plus my attack twice.

Speaker: I'm going to do them separately because I believe a substitute can get broken. Oh, yeah, go ahead. Yeah. If this thing does not break through, then this thing must have dumped a lot of its HP into it.

Speaker: It's only got 10 HP left. Yeah, the substitute only has 10 HP left. There's no overflow, but because you're doing multi-attack, it could hit the Umbreon. Yeah, so it'll be 3 plus 3 plus 10.

Speaker: That'll do one damage. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I kind of was banking on more hits. And two! Okay, that'll also get one damage.

Speaker: Alright, this is HP. yeah It is now Shadow Umbreon's turn, and he is going to go for Moonlight. He's gonna roll for that Paralysis is what he's gonna do.

Speaker: He is going to roll for Paralysis. And with a 19, he is going to be cured of Paralysis. What is this? Why is it a Wicked Paralysis? We can't escape it. Oh, so Umbreon can still move?

Speaker: Umbreon is now free of paralysis Shadow of the Umbreon is going to go for Moonlight. Recover HP based on weather. I did previously look up the different weather effects and because there is neutral weather ah in this what battle- What about we're inside a train car?

Speaker: Yes, there's neutral weather. yeah So he will always recover half his max HP. What?

Speaker: so it's one it's one of these bosses i see isn't still behind the decoy though he is oh my does that mean like can he still attack us or yeah just when you're gonna wait if you're in a substitute can you attack i forgot about yeah i don't think you can do money right on that you just attacked around the substitute Can you?

Speaker: Hold It's like D&D when you have a... I forget, you can make a copy of yourself that's just a hologram. Yeah, unless it's different in the Mystery Dungeon games.

Speaker: the You might want to check it for the Mystery Dungeon games. This thing is not what I want. This is not

Speaker: happening. the No, because in the Mystery Dungeon games, it just creates a substitute that draws in foes and makes them attack it. And then you're still just standing there and you can attack anything that attacks the substitute.

Speaker: Okay. Also, by the way, I paused the chaos timer while we're having this discussion. um But also, according to the definition in our character sheet, he technically can. It doesn't say he can't.

Speaker: It says use HP, choose number to create decoy. All foes will aim for that until it's defeated, period. So yeah I'm going to say it does not specifically say he cannot attack. um You did substitute the 30 HP off of your character sheet, right?

Speaker: Yes. Good, okay. Just making sure. Yeah, he took 30 damage from that. yeah I was asking. Sorry, what are you asking? No, I said I was just asking, like, it uses up 30 its HP. So that's, is that a quarter of its max?

Speaker: No, I can choose what number to do. It says use HP, choose a number to create a decoy. It's different in this system for some reason. All foes will aim for that until it's defeated.

Speaker: So i could create a I could create a decoy with, like, max minus one HP, and that would work. That's interesting. Anyway, time run, get resumed. Okay.

Speaker: So, he uses Moonlight and he heals up to... He heals 50% of his HP.

Speaker: It is now Walter's turn. think we're cooked. So, when you're attacking the dummy, if you go over the damage, does it transfer to the other guy or now no? No.

Speaker: There's no overflow damage. Yeah. Okay, then I'm just... Oh, I forgot. I gotta stop tracking moves again. Let me go. Hold on real quick. If you can't tell, guys, I made stall Pokemon.

Speaker: Yeah, and I'm hating you for that. i told you guys you guys were to hate me for this. I hated you when you did this stupid stall train thing.

Speaker: Oh my gosh. I'm going to have to use another. right. Walter reaches down to the coldness of the metal and scratches it to get does an ice punch.

Speaker: All right.

Speaker: Go ahead and roll for act this. You got it. Hold on. I got to check. Because it's getting only getting 20. Is it only 20? a 19.

Speaker: Ugh! These punch moves, you have to get 20 to get the effect.

Speaker: There is an item I think you can have that, uh... But you have your power band, so... Anyway, yeah, what did you get? 19. 19? Oh, okay, yeah.

Speaker: Um, I went to 19, that'll definitely hit. I don't think I can roll low enough for not to do damage enough. The 8 damage? because my attack's already 22, and did 2d8 plus 10.

Speaker: Oh, you said you, uh, so as that was that, 30? Yeah, no, the lowest I could get uh, 34. Oh, yeah. Okay, you'll always do damage to it. Okay, so what did you roll?

Speaker: roll again. Do it. No timer! It's chaos time. Pause what you are doing with a 2. With 2. with e two Ah, okay, now continue.

Speaker: What? what What?

Speaker: Nothing. 39. Ice type damage. 39? Alright. Oh no. Um, okay. Alright, he said 39? Yeah.

Speaker: Alright. That 39, you throw a punch out towards the Umbreon and it hit Hikaru in the face. Oh no! Number two, the active player completes their turn but is directed towards an ally.

Speaker: was like, what happened? yeah That's so cold! What was it? Random ally? Yeah, random ally. i applied a number one through 3D guys and 4 is a reward. had to hit the one person. rolled a d4 and rolled a 2. person. Did I just get blasted with...

Speaker: I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Did just get blasted with frozen shaved ice? Or something? Like... don't what happened, uh... Can Emily even speak after that? That was 39 damage.

Speaker: Minus your physical defense. Minus physical defense? Oh, give me a sec, give me a sec. Oh my gosh, can I drop most of you guys with more points? 39 minus... Well, it's 27.

Speaker: I would have survived. what This is an average roll, by the way. Minus 27.

Speaker: ah She's out cold. my gosh. You do have reviver suit, don't you? I do. I've got three. Okay, so you go down and one of your reviver seeds is automatically consumed from your bag and you heal to... what is it, half HP?

Speaker: I don't remember. no, full. Is it full? year Yeah. And I end up with a plain seed in my bag, which is... Also, I'm just gonna say, I'm gonna be increasing the price of those reviver seeds in the future.

Speaker: because Yeah, I think that the main difference between the Reviver Seed and the Tiny Reviver Seed is that the revive but the regular Reviver Seed also like restores your other stats. okay Tiny Reviver Seed does only bring you up to half health.

Speaker: The regular Reviver Seed brings you up to full health.

Speaker: Yeah, Tiny Reviver Seed does... let me see... Though, it's not different in... You might be thinking of like the the regular revive.

Speaker: Is it not different in this system?

Speaker: Let me look up the items list. Control F, Reviver. Reviver Orb. Reviver Seed. Revive a Pokemon that faints, all PPHP, etc. return. Becomes a Plain Seed.

Speaker: Tiny Reviver Seed. Revives a Pokemon that faints, turns into a Plain Seed. So a Tiny Reviver Seed would only give you one HP. Because it does not restore any HP.

Speaker: No, it does. it Normally, in the Pokemon games, it does. That's not what it says in this system. well The main Reviver Seed specifies that it returns all HP.

Speaker: Tiny Reviver Seed does not mention any HP revival.

Speaker: It doesn't... No, but that's what it does in the games. Like, I don't see any... don't know, this is what Anna Rebrook, not me. Yeah, I think that's just a description issue there.

Speaker: It could be. did you But you used a regular Reviver Seed, right? so it No, this was a Tiny Reviver Seed. Oh, there's a tiny reviver scene? Well, uh, yeah. Let me see what it says in the main game.

Speaker: Tiny reviver scene.

Speaker: Rescue team DX. Listen, kids, don't eat a scene and think you'll come back from the dead in real world. Uh, it restores his peepee and belly. Uh...

Speaker: That doesn't help. Right, okay. So Tiny Reviver Seed restores just HP, not PP or Belly. Okay, gotcha. Okay. it today So they're basically the same thing in our system now since we're not using Belly or PP.

Speaker: Interesting. Yeah, that kind of got stretched out when Walter was kidnapped and he just kept sleeping instead of eating. By the way, I'm fine with that.

Speaker: Oh, I think you got it. Yeah, let's see what this says. I don't want to do

Speaker: a bag. Do you have a place you want to?

Speaker: Yeah, it doesn't say anything about HP, but I'm- Oh wait, hold on, wait, it literally said, fully restore Pokemon HP defense. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. Yeah, there it is. Okay, yeah, so your HP is fully restored. Okay.

Speaker: Gotcha. What about my stat changes? Uh, your stat changes- I don't think it would have. think your speed stays higher. think resets. Is I don't think so.

Speaker: um um I'm willing to give it to you. It doesn't make too much of a difference either way. Alright. Other than like your electro ball. Okay. Alright, it is now Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: Hikaru goes like, what was that? She just genuinely doesn't remember what just happened to her. walter's eyes Walters has his hand behind his back, like, whistling all inisily.

Speaker: That's what happens to her, like she just loses like... She just doesn't remember what else to do. What do we know? Walter's accidentally punched him before and she just keeps forgetting. You gave her dementia, Walter.

Speaker: oh no.

Speaker: Oh no, more like you gave her a concussion. Yeah. You gave her a brain freeze. There we go. Yeah. Concussion and a brain freeze. Well...

Speaker: okay next thing we're gonna is let's go for another electro ball why not okay oh

Speaker: oh chaos time timer's up let's see what chaos you get i rolled a 10. ten The active player must perform a random action immediately using the random verb generator.

Speaker: Alright. I'm gonna find one that actually makes sense because I don't think install is very good. Oh, trust. Okay. must You must trust someone.

Speaker: I don't know what that means. What does that mean to you? She trusts Walter that he he didn't hit her. yeah I trust you to win this for us.

Speaker: was like, ah! You can see that in Hikara's eyes, her full trust is in you. If you do not, you will let her down. That wouldn't be the first.

Speaker: Okay. So... She's gonna go for... Right. wonder how a transfer orb would work in this kind of chaos environment. Oh my god.

Speaker: That's 16. Okay, so we're on Electro Ball. That's 16 plus our special attack, which is 27. Okay. Let's see special effects. 27. That'll do 7 damage.

Speaker: Woo! That's more than one. yeah's A little more than one. But isn't that dummy still on one?

Speaker: Oh yeah, the dummy still has HP. Yeah, the dummy's on 1 HP. Oh no, how is the dummy still alive? Because I punch Shikaru. You guys aren't doing any damage.

Speaker: Oh, right. I am! You just went... You just full-on blocked my punch and de redirected it. Yeah, and Hikaru carro can see that the that the dummy looks pretty... like some of the some of the cotton filling is um is is poking out of one of the seams.

Speaker: And that's how she decides to finish it off with a trailblaze!

Speaker: It's not a bonus action. Shoot, no, you're right. ah With a Thundershock! What base powers Thundershock? That is four.

Speaker: Is it four? Okay, I think that does meet the definition. Must have base powers, and I'm- Yep, that fits. And with a 14, that hits. Yep.

Speaker: Don't bother with Dumball rolling for damage, it's automatically a minimum of 1, so the substitute just disappears. Puff! It's caught and explodes everywhere, and in its place is the Shadow Umbreon! Back from the dead! Well, not the dead, but it's back!

Speaker: And it is angry. The thing's like, Psyche, substitute again. So, it is now Bruce's turn. Yeah, and Bruce is gonna try to play rough again, and...

Speaker: see See what kind of damage you can get out of it.

Speaker: Oh wait, that's a fairy type move. You're kidding me, right? I got another five. Jesus. I cannot land a player.

Speaker: You were talking all that stuff about how Walt is not the only one who could damage. This is like the D&D one shot we did. Yeah, pretty much. You can't hit anything.

Speaker: Missing moves is how Bruce does big damage to the next turn, so it's okay. Yeah, it'll and i you'll make it up next turn. I don't really need it.

Speaker: As I say, if you doesn't say Bruce is kind of gets damage from missing moves, but if you want to spend your next action helping him, you can do that.

Speaker: Okay. i use this So that'll cost me a turn. do you Do you want to do that? i but i think i'm more Would this be for this turn? Yes, I'll do it. I'll do it. Alright, go ahead and reroll.

Speaker: That will take your next turn as a help action. That would be better to do next turn than this turn. But

Speaker: what are you doing to help? ah Well, isn't I mean, wait a second. Play a rough. Let me look at that. She's guiding your hand towards the Umbreon like this is how you punch.

Speaker: It's got like the sticks that they got for the um airplanes. is like here, punch here. yeah Yeah. She pulls up a diagram. She's like, your fists go on Umbreon's face.

Speaker: Okay, well, that that works then. So I got up a 19. Okay, and that will consume Evelyn's next turn. press next turn With a 19, that will hit.

Speaker: the The effect roll on a 19 plus foe's attack minus 2.

Speaker: Foe's attack minus 2? That puts the foe's attack at 0, the way What? Yes! Okay. It is just- Oh my gosh, it is. They are a tank healer.

Speaker: Yeah, it is. I made this as a tank staller. Also, Play Rough is... fairy-type move. base power is Play Rough? It's base power 9. Doesn't matter! It is chaos time! that d10. We got a 6. You have no idea how much of a problem I have with these kind classes in In games.

Speaker: Ugh. Eli, are you at max health? Yeah. Okay, this does not apply, so I'm going to re-roll. Yay! No, nothing would have happened.

Speaker: Oh, okay. It was a 6 as the active player gains a random amount of health. Oh, you can get over max health. Mystery Dungeon, mr dunton you guys have over max health.

Speaker: I can't. Can you? Yeah. If you eat an Oranberry, max health, you just get extra health for the dungeon. Do you?

Speaker: Yeah. I wish I knew that. Okay. ah Okay. Can go under your temp bonus then? Alright, in that Yeah, you just do changes in battle. HP bonus. Okay. Alright. In that case, 6. The active player gains a random amount of health.

Speaker: Roll a D, current health. So, what is that? That's a d thirty five Random number center. let's see Let's see.

Speaker: 35. You get five health. Well, that's fine. Better than nothing. I'll take it. it. And get to roll. This may help you survive or dig.

Speaker: Yeah. So I get to roll my 2d10 plus 10 for the play rough now. Yes. A 4 and a 10. So it'll be 24 plus 10. Potentially times 2 if it's super effective.

Speaker: So 34 physical fairy damage. 34 physical. That will do 15 damage. so I'm guessing this thing is just typeless.

Speaker: It's either a ghost... Actually, it shouldn't be a ghost type. Nah, if it ghost type, I wouldn't have hit it. Yeah, so I'm thinking it's a typeless thing here. Oh yeah, isn't Walter like a... No, no, you can hit ghosts.

Speaker: ah For some reason, I thought Ulf. Before... Never mind, I'm crazy. oh no He's got Metal Flop. He could always hit ghosts. He just has more options now. Yeah, all right. um Cool. like had fighting You have your bonus action, don't you?

Speaker: Oh, yeah, that's right. I'll i'll use Ember to try to burn it. Might as well. Yeah, burn his family house down. Net 20! Net 20. He learns Flamethrower. Okay, that'll ah he learns sleep okay so that'll be 1d8 plus 6 plus an extra d8. So it'll be 14 plus a d8 plus my special attack.

Speaker: Okay. Of course. 14 plus 1. it'll be 125 divided by 2. Minus special? Minus special.

Speaker: But you're also burned. Oh, okay. Burned. You said 22? 22.

Speaker: 25 divided by 2 minus special attack. That'll do 5 damage. Oh, wow. This thing is not specially bulky. That's good to know. Okay. um And it is burned. What is the definition for? Burned says, you are burned. Take D4 damage per round. Final... I can't. like Am I crazy? I thought it was percentage damage die. Final attack is halved until burn is resolved.

Speaker: So any physical moves you use will be doing half damage. Oh, that's great. That's huge. Oh, that's probably fine. That doesn't affect me. Am I crazy or did I thought it was percentage health tick, not just dice rolling? It is in the main games.

Speaker: It is. It's 1 8th damage? Or 1 16th? I think? Something like that? Yeah, I think it's 1 16th now. It might have been 1 8th at some point. Okay.

Speaker: right It is now Shadow Umbreon's turn, and he's going to go for... first he's going to take few full damage. Oh, he took one damage. Wonderful. ah Great. Thanks.

Speaker: yeah welcome Okay, ah so he is going to go for a Dark Pulse on Walter because Walter's been the most hindrance to him. So for a Dark Pulse, he rolled an 8, which will hit, um which is two eight plus 10.

Speaker: Is this special attack? 7, 14. Yeah, but it's not very effective because it's a dark date move. but Does Walter have the justified ability?

Speaker: don't think he does. Ah, unfortunate. Ability? I have an inner focus. I cannot be flinched, cringed, or intimidated. okay. That works too for this thing. Especially good for the modern era.

Speaker: What was the damage number? Let's see if anyone ah it was He did 34 damage. Minus your special defense. I'm down. You're down? Oh, great. Because he only had 8 left.

Speaker: Right. What's your special defense? Well, i was it was 9. nine I'm still left on 9 because I did it wrong. I did special defense, regular defense the first time.

Speaker: But my defense is 11, special is 10. So what was the damage again? 30 something divided by 2 is 17.

Speaker: Oh wait wait wait divided by 4 17 then minus 10? No divided by 2. What divided by 2 is 17. Yeah. Then do I minus a 10 or not?

Speaker: Huh? Oh yeah, 17 minus your special defense. I'm still up! Do I have a 2 HP? I had 9!

Speaker: Oh my god. Okay. Alright, so hold on. i You did seven more damage to me. Jesus, you have two Two HP! It is... Oh, crap.

Speaker: And this is rolled for Abyss. Not Abyss. Jesus. Whoa. Wrong Umbreon. Shadow of the Umbreon. Pokemonist? Really? In this dumb modern age?

Speaker: The active player gets a random item. And because this a Shadow, you guys don't get to know what this is. um got an What? How many items do I have?

Speaker: 286. Well, I just lose with my TNT. Where'd it go? Random number. 286. Hmm. We get t-shirts. This guy got a nuke.

Speaker: What is item 40?

Speaker: No, this is like a random item, not an object. Oh! um Okay, I'm gonna tell you guys what this is, because it means absolutely nothing. He has a mini donut.

Speaker: a Increasing XP by 5. We could steal that! He eats it. He needs it immediately. He gains 5 XP.

Speaker: So, I just noticed something here. We have Abyss deployed as bodyguard. ah strong NPC capable of dealing damage can be added to the party as a fighter.

Speaker: Are we allowed to just call in? No, he'd have to travel to you guys. you Besides, he is deployed with Bree right now doing money making stuff. Ah, right. Okay.

Speaker: Got it. Shit. I got rid of my docks. Hold on. No!

Speaker: One second.

Speaker: Oh my god. There we go. It's really zoomed in, but it's fine. Okay. It is now Walter's turn.

Speaker: Ah.

Speaker: Huh, yeah, no I know, I'm thinking. and I'm thinking. Okay. Do you have any healing items?

Speaker: put Only for paralysis, burn and poison. Hmm,

Speaker: He's gonna like, I'm gonna dedicate this one to... Hold on, he's burned and paralyzed? Oh wait, no, he got out of it. No, he got out of being paralyzed. So he's just burned right Yeah, he's not. He's not.

Speaker: He's gonna reach back, say sorry, scratch, um, Conker again, and go for Thunder Punch. Okay. 16.

Speaker: Yep, that'll hit. Alright.

Speaker: See, I just gotta and make sure I scratch a living thing for my rolls to be good.

Speaker: not, not animate objects.

Speaker: Alright, just some wrong in my head. Hold on. Uh... 19... 41! 41 damage? I have electric carpet damage. Jesus. Uh, my ass physical. Alright, 41. Uh... I rolled a 22 damage. nineteen forty one

Speaker: forty one damage and electyn damage jesus ah versees physical at forty one and only twenty two damage

Speaker: Alright, the Umbreon is once again licking a little winded.

Speaker: Walt is like, I swear to God, don't you dare. Alright, and he is going to... Wait, what am talking about? It's not his turn. It's Hikaru's turn.

Speaker: jesus But Hikaru sacrificed her turn, so... That is true. it is It is now Bruce's turn. Okay. Bruce is gonna...

Speaker: Let me go for another play rough, I guess. Okay.

Speaker: Another five?

Speaker: It's another fiiiive! What the fuck? Jesus Christ. Put that dice in dice jail!

Speaker: Yeah, that's the same.

Speaker: This die just rolled me two fives and a nat 20. It's an all nothing die. It's an all of nothing die. I can still do happy bonus action though.

Speaker: ae Oh yeah. I guess I might as well just go for another ember, I suppose. Okay. And I got a nat 1.

Speaker: no oh my god what's going on with my days has betray me yeah a new dice for god i was using a different guy that one hates you too well you ain't got a real damage against yourself Alright, so it'll be, well it's 1d8 plus 6 divided by 2, divided by 2 again because it was a bonus action, so... Yeah, it was a bonus action. Oh, okay. So, yeah, I'm gonna, what? So it'll be

Speaker: seven divided by four rounds down to one yeah Okay, cool. Great use of a turn. It is now Shadow Umbreon's turn.

Speaker: And he is going to go for a double team. Just to make your life harder. So this does not have an accuracy. But what it does is everyone's AC is now one higher for their turn.

Speaker: For their actions. So, um yeah, and that is pretty much it. It is Wilter's turn.

Speaker: Walter's like, ugh. It's like his eyes are just spinning, ugh. He thinks for a second, TNT? No. not his work In this condensed box.

Speaker: No, Walter, bad idea. you just see him holding it, like pondering i like, hmm, should I or should I not?

Speaker: That is the question. like i is a question He'll put that thing back and he's like, alright, since you I have to touch an actual object for this thing, my moves to work, I'll touch my cold heart and use ice punch.

Speaker: And his heart grew three sizes that day. got a seven? I got seven. Meets beats?

Speaker: You need a seven, right? I need a six.

Speaker: Yeah, but you use double team, so your AC is increased by 1. Oh yeah, then it is 7. Yeah. But? But meets beats, so go ahead. Alright, I got rolled damage.

Speaker: Come on, not mediocre damage. Not mediocre. That's okay, okay, okay, okay. forty three 43 ice damage. Nice. Ooh, 43 physical.

Speaker: 43, 33, that'll do 24 damage.

Speaker: All right, and the Umbreon is visibly tired now. wonder if this is just a where Bruce is like struggling and Carl is like, what you got this, you got this, Bruce. And Walter's just doing the ice, electric, fire, light like just wombo comboing this Umbreon.

Speaker: ah just not work on a turn Is there any like status effects on Umbreon? Burn! and Did you remember to do the burn? No I didn't. I'm going to retroactively roll a d4 for him. He got a 4.

Speaker: So he'll take 4 damage. damage Nice. Okay. and And with that... I'm just going to keep spamming Electro Ball, okay? Or... If it but ain't broke, don't fix it.

Speaker: With a 4? Chaos time! Did you say you rolled a 4? I did not roll. Oh, you didn't roll yet? Alright, well give me one second. You got a 1. Okay, alright, it is... Well, number 1, the act of player's turn just doesn't happen.

Speaker: What? It is now Bruce's turn. Okay, well, Bruce just missed his play rough last turn, so he's gonna be going for that temper flare trying to finish this off.

Speaker: Nine, it hits. Okay, you did hit, okay. Yes, I did hit. Back to my plus 20.

Speaker: Alright.

Speaker: Okay, that is a 5, 5, 7, 3, 1. So that'll be 21, 41, 51 special fire damage. And that is enough knock with 11 left.

Speaker: fifty one special fire damage and that is enough to knock it out with eleven hp left I could rolled out for like 4 hours by the way guys.

Speaker: Oh let me guess he had more substitutes and more moon things. Let me guess. There's no PP. I could just infinitely moonlight if I really wanted to. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Cause that's guaranteed fifty he had a guaranteed 50%. had 142 damage. That needs to be fixed where there's actually PP in that.

Speaker: Okay so I just want point out this was a little bit of a boss. So I set him I just gave him 4000 XP. which set him at level 28. He had 40 HP. I just gave him an extra 100 health.

Speaker: Wait, so how how much XP do we get? Because we got a lot of effects to go into it with IQ skills. I need to come up with a new XP calculator because I don't like the one Anurad has. It gives so little XP.

Speaker: um Okay, not so how much XP do you guys have? Walter, how much XP do you have? um I have 1325 thirteen twenty five

Speaker: 1325 you guys all get i think i could have got more of my xp elite do you have it whoa i have xp elite and xp go getter oh what do those do um you earn 1.5 xp after battle and pretty sure we we agreed that this goes for everybody Yes. yeah And then XP Go-Getter. You get plus 5 XP for each Pokemon after XP calculations.

Speaker: Alright, that's 275 XP. Wait, I also have EXP Elite. Fucking Christ. I should not have said 180. Does that stack? So it'll be what? Times 1.75 then? Or would it be just times It's times times Oh, great. hold on Does anyone else have EXP Elite?

Speaker: No, I've got Coring Watcher times that's It's 410. 405 plus 10. Everyone gets 410 XP. Jesus.

Speaker: If I had known that you guys had EXP Elite, maybe i shouldn't I wouldn't have said 180. Good god. okay Oh, that was unintentional. So I just jumped to level 17.

Speaker: I just jumped up three levels. Yeah, I also jumped three levels. I'm level 19. I said it, so it happened. I'm level 19. Alright, let's do a little level up montage. So, as the as the flames of the umbrella disappear into the air, it vaporizes, leaving behind absolutely nothing.

Speaker: Because it was flames and it wasn't holding anything. The chaos in the train dissipates. And you can tell, Walter, that there is no more chaos left in this terrain. The anomaly has been defeated.

Speaker: And with that, let us level up. So, I'm going to quit streaming so I can get my internet speed back. ah And... so I don't have to hide my notes anymore. So we get two attack and two defense every level, or is it one?

Speaker: I forget. I just looked up the stats for a Walter... God damn it. It's one into an attacking stat and one into a defensive stat for each level.

Speaker: Alright, I need three in each one. Make sure you follow the route for all. What was that again? ah yourre You cannot have three times more than your lowest stat.

Speaker: So if you have a stat of if you're so like if your speed is five, then your highest stat cannot be higher than 15.

Speaker: Well, what if I had a power ban that made it like that? Power ban doesn't take into account. ah Okay, then I'm still good. it's It's specifically your level up bonus, not your final. I need to put 3 in attack and 3 in defense.

Speaker: Okay. What level were you previously? it's not changing What? what What level was Walter? 16, I'm 19 now.

Speaker: Okay, you do not learn any new moves. That's fine. So it is it is that simple. So, Hikaru, let's move on to you. How I still only have 20? Oh, never mind.

Speaker: have 27 now? That's so little. That's still. Hold on, am I in the right gen? Hold on, one second. Are you on the... Yeah, you are. Okay, okay. That's fine. Pikachu... Man, even being twenty and level 19, I only have 27 HP for max.

Speaker: Wow.

Speaker: Okay. What level were you, Evelyn? what What level was Hikaru? She went from 15 to 18. Okay, so you learn Feint. Feint? Yes, you have the ability to learn Feint.

Speaker: v This attack can hit a target using moves such as Protect or Detect. This also lifts the effects of those moves.

Speaker: Okay, so just... so so it just Huh, inflicts damage but only strikes a target that has used a protect or detect during that turn.

Speaker: Oh, sorry, I was looking at the, ah not the Mr. Dungeon one. Right, it's different here. Oh, I was just reading, i was reading from, like, Bulbapedia on Gen 4. Uh... In our system, hits only if the foe has protect or detect active.

Speaker: Okay. Well, I better be careful on what I...

Speaker: Only if foe has protect or detect active. Yeah, that's gonna be... gonna challenging to figure out what I wanna replace with it.

Speaker: you don't You don't have to replace it if you do not wish to. Just remember. Yeah. I think I'm gonna... Might be useful occasionally, but... Hmm.

Speaker: It might be useful if you run into a thing that did code a one annoying us with i was thinking of doing protect but i decided to use moonlight and sorry i'm gonna like substitute instead because i would just be more annoying for you guys yeah i was really trying to stall this out and have the chaos effects go on further um we're done with this if i remember i'll read out all of the uh things i guess we got some a shirt i got a punch to caru the car believed in walter

Speaker: hello And Hikaru has a sister now. I'm going to say... There's a couple t-shirts. there's There's a couple t-shirts, too. They all say Go Earthquakes.

Speaker: Oh, I was going to um been funny if it was just I was trying to think. Walter's mom and the her boyfriend fans. Jeremy. Oh, it could be. Do you guys want Gravel Rocks t-shirts? I'll allow that.

Speaker: Alright. Yeah, you know what? you The t-shirts say Go Gravel Rocks. and the in the So do we get to... wait too valuable No, they're not signed.

Speaker: No, and they're not signed. How many gravel rock... How many of them are there? There's one for each of you. Why not? Okay. Alright, I'm just gonna equip it.

Speaker: um Okay. here Your armor goes up by one. Armor. It goes up by 0.1 because it's just a t-shirt. No, there's no effect with the t-shirt. It's just a fun t-shirt.

Speaker: oh yeah Okay. ah And what stats did you change? What stats did Hikaru change? i um i decided So I decided to skip faint.

Speaker: And i raised Hikaru's attack physical attack by two. Um, meaning it is now 11.

Speaker: Her defense is up by one. So total 13 special attack up by one, making it 12 and then special defense is up by two, making it 13. Okay.

Speaker: All right. Uh, Bruce, it is now your turn. Uh, Cyndaquil. I don't learn anything until 19. I learned flame wheel at level 19.

Speaker: So don't get to learn that. Or what? OK. I said Flame Wheel Swab. Yeah, Flame Wheel's cool. But don't get to learn it yet. So I just, yeah. A couple more levels.

Speaker: I just added... One into everything except for defense, which got plus two. I'm up to 11 attack, 13 defense, 11 special attack, 12 special defense, and 12 speed.

Speaker: I can roll a physical die for my speed again. Hey, nice. Okay. um And that is it, right? Yeah, and that's it. Okay. um um Everyone has been leveled up. the Also, Hikaru, your quote-unquote sister evaporates with the chaos energy of the train.

Speaker: Oh, no. That was strange. Yeah, I rolled sister for a random noun. No! No!

Speaker: Okay, and now the train addicts ride can continue as normal. was going to ask her out. No, I'm kidding. What? Oh my god. Jeez.

Speaker: Oh no. Okay. Alright, the train starts and yeah, yeah there was no damage. to her I don't think anyone noticed there was a battle going on.

Speaker: Um, so, with that, the train departs from the station, and you guys are headed to... Ooh. Uh, that city yeah Question.

Speaker: They ran out of the battle, but they noticed a, um, Rayulu hole in the wall and in the door? good question. There is holes in the wall. Uh, no, with a nine, they do not.

Speaker: Walter picks a crate and just takes it out of the crate room and just sets it right there. There you go. There you go. It's just creates another wall. so it doesn't you knowke You can't see it from the inside. From the outside. It's an obvious raiolo hole. Okay.

Speaker: ah Okay. um So the train picks up. You guys are still in the storage room. and they're yeah So what do you guys want to do? Um...

Speaker: get out of the storage room and get to where we're supposed to be. Okay. So, you guys, you guys do pass the food cart. Yeah, you guys do pass the food cart if you guys wish to do anything with that, but otherwise, train is free to explore or just pass the time. to you.

Speaker: I don't like that! I don't like what you just said! Um, Okay. I'm sorry. I'm scared now. I don't want to do another roll.

Speaker: don't want to get back. You guys already dissipated all of the yeah all the chaos the chaos energy. Walt is going to go talk to that Ursa Ring again. The Ursa Ring was it? Oh yeah, there is Ursa Ring on this train.

Speaker: Yeah, and Teddy Ursa. Okay. Okay. That... Yeah. or I don't... Let's not get... Walter, let's not get too aggressive on that Ursa ring. it looks like they might not be the one.

Speaker: and I just want to freak them out by saying the same thing they've said to me already, but... them. I'm just saying. I'm going to pretend like I'm a mind reader and just say what they said to me. Okay.

Speaker: I don't remember what they said, so... You can just say I did that. I'm pretty sure it was like this was their first trip out of the town or something.

Speaker: i don't remember. Yeah, I have no idea. so The Ted Uirso is excited to be going on vacation for the first time or something like that. This is like their first vacation. genuinely have no memory of what happened.

Speaker: But I... if Do you want to do that? Go ahead and roll a I almost want say intimidation. Performance. What? No, I'm just gonna- it's gonna like do it like to the dead ears like, hey, I got a neat trick. I can tell- I can read your mind.

Speaker: Just to excite it more. of Okay, yeah, yeah. The dead ears is like, you can read my mind? Do it! just Do it! It's like, it's like, okay, it's like, I'm gonna use my aura powers to read your mind. That's something we can do.

Speaker: Okay, hold on one second. a Random lounge. Oh

Speaker: Wait, what? Alright, go ahead. What is this Teddiursa vacancy? Wait, what do you mean? What?

Speaker: Well, you want to read this mind. What is this 10 years of thinking? Can I... can I... No, um I'm not saying... I'm saying... and he's gonna say what... He's gonna say, you're excited for your first vacation.

Speaker: Uh, actually, i was thinking of the word... What is this word? Contention. What? I pulled a random mound generator. Aren't you just a special boy?

Speaker: i am. That's what my mom says. I don't know what contention is. It is... whatever. Hey kid, you want a ball? No!

Speaker: It's a heated disagreement. Okay. I guess that's what it is.

Speaker: What was that? What was the word of Dakota? It's called contention. Oh, yeah, contention. I just pulled up a random noun generator. i don't know. Never heard of something being in contention?

Speaker: oh Oh, no, actually, I guess, yeah, I have. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's something being in contention. Yeah, I gotcha. Yeah. Okay. least some more to listen that one. Okay, so I'm just going to say, the train ride goes smoothly.

Speaker: After um about like 10 hours, the night passes, and in the morning, you hear, we're rising at Shangalo City! And the train comes to a stop at Shangalo City train station.

Speaker: We're here. Oh, we finally made it. What the was all that? Well, at least got relax on track. Wait, did they see the portal?

Speaker: Or was it just me before the Umbreon came out? No, the portal basically morphed into the Umbreon. Yeah, the Rift is gone. You defeated it, basically. I mean, like, by the time they came, were they right behind me? Did they see the Rift?

Speaker: No, no one saw anything. What? You said I saw the Rift turn into the Umbreon. Yeah, and then you guys defeated the Umbreon and it vanished.

Speaker: yeah I'm asking that. Did Evelyn and Bruce see the Rift before coming in Yes, yes, they did. I thought you meant like the, uh, I thought you meant like the trains people. Like the ah people on the train.

Speaker: But yes, the rest of the crew saw it. I don't know. This Rift thing getting me annoyed.

Speaker: If I swear we take a step out of here and we're going back, I'm gonna lose it on God.

Speaker: Take a step off the train and nothing happens. arrive youre arrive at the food cart and you think what you're gonna take. hey As you guys get off the train, you guys are met with a very interesting sight.

Speaker: Shangalo City is not like any city you've seen before. This city is made of spires and of buildings stacked on top of each other rather than spread around. it is very... it's not It's not a very big city, but the bigness of it comes from the fact that there are like 40 or 50 buildings stacked on top of each other.

Speaker: It is a vertical city. Just one giant building? No, there's many spires, many stacks of buildings. And they're all like rusty and sheet metal and it is Shangalo City.

Speaker: Very rustic, rus not rustic, rustic is not the right word. It's very rusty, um scrap metal, vertical city. And we're still in where is this roughly? Still in Ventus?

Speaker: um Yes, it is just shy of the border of Ventus City. Like a good 10 miles from the border.

Speaker: Like... Uh, Ventus, I think, Ave? That's the one to the east. Uh, east... Yeah, Ave.

Speaker: It is very close to the border of Ventus. Ave is the south, isn't it? I don't know. I don't have them have to hold up. Oh, where's the map? It's in Teach's only, isn't it? I'm not pulling up to that.

Speaker: I'm not going to have to go digging for it. But... You guys are on the eastern border, about 10 miles away. On the border is Breezehome City, which is where you guys are slated to go.

Speaker: So you guys are on the train, you guys are at the train station. um how i too because like a And Smoggy, it is like factory-like.

Speaker: Is it like, I would say probably colder as well because like Aave is the ice type state? I'm gonna say humid. This place... It's kind of warm and humid.

Speaker: Walter's like, this place feels of tears, desperation, and and sadness. I feel home. Oh no. It's Walter's hometown.

Speaker: Well, Gale Beach's, but... um So yeah. You guys are here? Shangalo City. Do we want to like look around a little bit?

Speaker: Weren't we just passing through on our way to the next city? Yes. You guys have to now travel by foot to Breeze Home City, which is a small town at the border.

Speaker: I don't know if it's you. We already did our shopping. We slept on the train, right? What was that, Eli? Did we sleep on the train? Yes, you did. And it is the morning, and I have in fact rolled for Bree, so that has been added.

Speaker: Nice, cool. Okay. So we we get to change all our HP and everything back. Yes, you guys are fully restored after a good night's of sleep.

Speaker: On the tree. And now it's morning. assume my speed boost is back, too. yeah Yeah, everything is set to normal. Yeah. right Okay. Okay.

Speaker: um Around you, you see a lot of different lake vendors. You guys are on the lowest level of the city. and You guys are on the lowest level of the city. yeah There's like a bunch of like street vendors. You see like a lot of psychics.

Speaker: And people are like, I will tell your fortune. And there's like some street vendors. I keep saying street vendors. There's people selling fish. There's people selling all sorts of trinkets baubles. like street psychics, there's a bunch of staircases leading up and around the buildings to higher levels.

Speaker: It is a very scattered city.

Speaker: Think of like Hong Kong, basically, if it was vertical. you know Oh, wait, I wonder if it looks like this.

Speaker: There's...

Speaker: No, it's not one building. It's it's kind of like in... What's called? Ready Player One with all RVs stacked on top of each other almost.

Speaker: It's kind of like that. i think it's called like the Projects or something like that. so oh if you got yeah So you guys can... What?

Speaker: What is it called? the Yeah. you I think that like the the places in ah the buildings in Hong Kong with like all of the all the units. It's just basically a scrapyard. Yeah.

Speaker: yeah um It's very industrial. So, um what do you guys want to do? You guys have no idea which way to go to Bree's home. So, figure it out. Should we go look for a map?

Speaker: ah You guys want to look for a map? Is there her um map im mount a map shop? map shop I'm not to say there's map shop, but there's a bulletin board somewhere around you with like like travel maps and stuff like that.

Speaker: We should go there. Because they may have interesting things here, but we don't really got money. i have some left, but not enough to on a shopping spree. The maps there are all free. It's like it's kind of like the... ah It's just a bunch of pamphlets sitting there in neat rows.

Speaker: There's like maps for the city, there's like train line maps, there's like a map of the whole state. What do you guys need? Hmm... The whole state.

Speaker: Basically every map. taking every map. Okay. You take one of pretty much every map. So what do you guys want to do now?

Speaker: Actually, you know what? Hold on. I'm going to have... um Evelyn, I want you to roll perception. I want to roll perception. I got a 17.

Speaker: perception not forty

Speaker: o and got a seventeen oh Oh, yeah. Okay. So, yeah. Jake just reminded me that he was grabbing maps.

Speaker: So, while Jake is holding a fistful of maps as he hurries up to you guys, and he meets up with the group as Hikaru with a 17, you see a billboard, and it says that Justin Bibarel is in town, one of your favorite pop stars. Uh-huh.

Speaker: Wow! Oh my goodness. Justin Barbaro is in town. what Is this the kind of pop star that has the fans buy a lot of merch? Like, purposely makes them spend a lot or no?

Speaker: Not only that, but the billboard states that he is doing a show today at the main stage, which you have no idea where that's at. the main stage yes today at 6 p.m quick check give it like a stadium like who want to give it like a ah name like i don't know uh what do you call it um flameback theater or something like that his name is george no we can't just name everything after the flamebacks we gotta stop the flamebacks own everything they don't know

Speaker: I know they don't. Yeah, the Flamebacks own the naming rights to this theater too. ah maybe not. Uh... Corrupt Flamebacks. Yeah, just Mainstage.

Speaker: Can we even even keep that in? Jake? I said corrupt. i go I don't know if we can keep that in, Jake. What'd I say? Corrupt Flamebacks? Oh, is that not what you said? no I just said corrupt Flamebacks.

Speaker: Okay, that is not what I heard. i'm sorry. What did you hear? Type it Okay, fine. Did I say something bad? That's what I thought you said. No!

Speaker: that's surprise no so ah what What? I thought you said- you called him Coro- Jesus. Yeah, I don't think- Okay, I'm glad- I'm glad that's not what you said because I don't think we would've been able to keep that in.

Speaker: Okay. I'm not that far- I'm not that far south. Okay, class. Oh, jeez.

Speaker: Okay, I it. The Swift Wind Arena. I don't care about the stage name. It's just the stage. ah So, there's a billboard that yeah had says, Today, Dustin Bibbereau performing at this place.

Speaker: I guess we're calling it the Swift Wind Arena. um In the middle of town. i I guess. I don't know. You don't really know where that's at. So, um... Around you, there's bunch of vendors and stuff. Is there anything you guys wish to do before moving on?

Speaker: I would like to...

Speaker: i want i want to restock on Reviver Seeds, but I also want to sell some stuff. Or, i don't know, try to make some money somehow. Yep, there's a bunch of street vendors. Which one are you going up to? You can see vendors of all kinds. It's like trinkets, fish, or not fish. I just remembered, not fish.

Speaker: ah Grass. They're selling grass. Grass? High premium grass?

Speaker: Just grass. It's just regular grass. I don't know plants, the leaves, fucking vegan stuff, not fish. Vegan stuff? And notably, you guys also see like fortune tellers and stuff.

Speaker: So, up to you. Where are you selling it? Uh... Darn, if I knew what to sell, where? um We also all still have our used TMs as well from our shopping episode. So if we can find some place to recycle those, we can sell those back.

Speaker: True. wonder if there's like a a pretty ah steely, industrial kind of place. I wonder iss and wonder if there is a recycling plant around. don't know if only someone had a map.

Speaker: I don't know. I'm sitting here holding the map and no one's talking. Walter's like, if only we knew where they were. Walter's like looking at them like, huh?

Speaker: Yeah. That was Bruce's way of kind of like, that that was Bruce's roundabout way of asking, hey can you check the map and see if there's a recycling plant?

Speaker: Oh, sure. Let me look in this. like a look do I see any? Yeah, there's a recycling plant on the other side of town. There's one on the other side of town.

Speaker: Yes. So, like, horizontally or up? Oh, good question. It is good question. 16% not 16% sorry 16 out of 20 is like 75 75% of the way up at the back of the city.

Speaker: Okay. So like 34 is up. Imagine if we had to take a staircase all the way up there. You see staircases all around you. So maybe don't know.

Speaker: It's up to explore. Yeah. Or maybe there's like flying, maybe there's like flying ride Pokemon that we can take.

Speaker: Gondola, like the Drifblim. none i'll say that Drifblim don't exist yet. that that drift That species hasn't been invented yet.

Speaker: No, the service. The Drifblim service doesn't exist yet. You look in front of you and you see, who's that? It's PC Fog.

Speaker: stuff ah it's Maybe we start the business and then hashtag flameback on it. How are we gonna fly Pokemon around?

Speaker: know we give the idea With a steering wheel, obviously. yeah And then somebody just takes our idea and doesn't, you know... It happened to this camp already. Bad idea.

Speaker: Okay. I wanna... Are there any Skarmaries around that we could hitch a ride on? Go up?

Speaker: haliia There's a... There's a Halucha milling about. okay They don't really fly... so much as jump and glide. Yeah. Are they that big anyway? Not as big as Skarmory.

Speaker: No, I'm about to size my toddler.

Speaker: Well, uh, the recycling plant on the other side of the city, so you guys have to go to that side of the city, see, uh, what lies over there, and figure out your way up. Yeah. Well, maybe we'll- Yeah, why don't we, let's, uh, yeah, let's walk over there.

Speaker: Yeah, travel through the city, we might find the stage too.

Speaker: As you guys pass through the city, you guys do in fact see the stage on the way there. You can see a bunch of Pokemon setting stuff up with the for the event, and you see a line of people ah gathering at the ticket booth to preemptively buy tickets. The line is very full.

Speaker: And you see at the ticket booth, you also see like a little informational bullet, not bulletin, like a sign. It says like, every ticket has a chance for a backstage meetup with Justin Bibarel in like all caps and exclamation marks.

Speaker: Oh, could i can I like, can I like work here for the day? shit.

Speaker: should chi Jake posted a meme that says I'm gonna blow it up.

Speaker: Okay. Um. Call it a bomb, right? No. Well, you have to get in line first if you wish to do that. So, if you guys wish, you guys stop and buy some tickets permanently or continue on your way.

Speaker: Uh, so that's a piece of game. Does it say how much they cost? Yes, they are 100 poke a piece. 100 poke? Huh. That's Bruce is gonna, like, see the line, see the crowd, and be like, uh, If you guys wanna to stand here in this line and wait to buy the tickets early, i can take your used TMs and go to the recycling plant.

Speaker: Sounds, uh, sounds like a deal. Um... Uh, wait. zaar I know he's your favorite, but... Do we have time for this?

Speaker: It is early morning. You guys have like eight hours until the show starts. Not this. I'm like, we're kind of crunch down on saving the world. Right. Saving the world. Yeah. ah Do you even have enough money for these tickets?

Speaker: i was gonna I was gonna apply for a job as like working here as like an usher or something. think that I think they're probably full of... um don't think they're gonna let you do that. i'm pretty sure that it takes a year to vet before they let random people be around famous singers.

Speaker: don't think they need that much experience. I had to get vetted. I was my mother's son. Requires a full year of experience for even the lowest roles. Eh. Um...

Speaker: um Okay, well, you know what? ah You know what? Justin Bibarel can wait. I think we should, yeah.

Speaker: Let's just maybe snap a few pictures and move on. ah Okay. ah Well, Justin Bibarel is not there. So, all right, you guys are moving on then? You guys are heading yeah towards the recycling plant.

Speaker: Okay. All right. And as you guys head towards the recycling plant, that's where I'm going to end this episode. I have been Dakota, your PM, your DM, your jam. I have been Evelyn playing Hikaru. have been Eli playing Bruce.

Speaker: have Jacob playing the Demolation Expert Walter. And we will see you guys next time.

Speaker: Hello and welcome to the midsection. Um, go make sure you go check out the discord linked in the description below. We got our patreon as well. Uh, it's just been too long since I've done one of these.
