Now that I have paid some bills, it is time to make an episode of Fit for My Age and say, hello, Dr. Estrada. Hi, Michael. Thanks for having me. It's great. And such an interesting topic as well. One of those things i know very, very little about, but I'm fascinated as to how you got interested in it. So what's the journey from saying I'm going to be a doctor to now doing the sort of medicine that you

Dr. Estrada's Journey to Naturopathic Medicine

00:02:23
Speaker
do?
00:02:23
Speaker
Sure. Yeah. So yeah, I've been practicing naturopathic medicine. I'm a naturopathic doctor in the States. I've been practicing for eight years plus now. we We kind of start practicing early in medical school, but I'm on a kind of on a mission since I had a near death experience about 21, 22 years ago now, and set me on this course trying to figure out how my body could heal. And when I figured out that my body could heal and I met a healer who helped me avoid surgery where you know, part of my body was actually paralyzed and on fire. And I was able to avoid surgery just naturally, she gave me some supplements, some herbs and some and then adjusted my neck because I had two discs that were badly herniated.
00:03:03
Speaker
Well, I regained my ability to walk, my my range of motion came back and that set me on this course to find you know natural medicine. And then I found the doctorate program and that was sort of like this epiphany moment, like, wait a minute, so there's a you know a a program that's holistic that is kind of the other way of doing things more, in my in my sense, the original and the the way it's intended to be. As far as medicine, especially for for long-term care, we don't deal with emergency care or triage. We triage for sure, but we don't you know do emergency care. We don't set bones and that kind of stuff. But when it comes to long-term care, there was there's so much missing, you know let's say, downright somewhere offensive in the in the conventional medical model where it's keeping you on on these medicines and you know you're chasing down quote unquote side effects that are really just the effects with more and more medicines.
00:03:50
Speaker
And then it ends up being this thing that is not really scientific, not safe or effective when you're talking about polypharmacy, people on three, four, five different medications. There aren't studies for those, right? So that's no longer science.
00:04:01
Speaker
So anyway, so, you know, in in that in that field, I became very sensitive. And in in finding my own gifts, I found a lot about how I felt. and And I was very sensitive to everything from like mold to yeah EMF, um which makes me very ah useful in trying to identify this with with other patients. One of the things that was really coming up more and more was was just the the buzz.
00:04:22
Speaker
You know, they were installing 4G and then five g And I don't know if you've read the book, the invisible rainbow, but it's an excellent book on the topic on EMF radiation. And so, you know EMF being electric, electromagnetic fields, everything that's plugged in has a field anywhere where there's electricity, there's, there's a field.
00:04:38
Speaker
And your your phone has a field all day long. And kind of the problem with the phone is it's not a steady field. Your cells can sort of adapt to stay steady state fields where there's a buzz that it's at a particular frequency.
00:04:50
Speaker
But the the phone will spike up and down, go all over the place and big big charge spikes. And it can even heat tissue a little bit and all that. You know, you see people that they don't realize it, that we're in a sort of a crisis of

Fertility Crisis & EMF Health Impact

00:05:01
Speaker
fertility.
00:05:01
Speaker
Right. One of the big things I love to do is optimize people. And when I look into sort of the more environmental load of what's happening, well, we're in we're in a fertility crisis. People are not having babies at the rate that they ought to just to just to maintain the population, let alone the physical ability is not there. Right.
00:05:18
Speaker
you know, men's sperm count is is is lower than it's ever been. i don't know, you know, the depends who you read, but the the testosterone levels, the normal ranges are now about 40% of what they used to be about 35 years ago.
00:05:29
Speaker
And so everything is shifting, sort of accepting this retardation of the of the state of of being okay of vitality. as One of the things that really really i picked out of that was you know where can I make a really big impact, not only just for you know my patients, but for myself, because I was you know ah working in different clinics, and um you know some I would come home and feel exhausted and and and identified it really it was around the Wi-Fi. you know and when i When I slept without the Wi-Fi router turned on, I would sleep much better. I would recover much faster. and Then I just started wearing EMF-locking clothes. There's a few different companies out there making like shirts and underwears and stuff like that.
00:06:05
Speaker
I always felt better when I was wearing them. And what happened was I was you know wearing scrubs on top of my clothing, on top of my shirt, I would so i wouldd have two layers on. I would be ah you know very functional, very operational, hardly ever get sick so long as I was you know wearing the stuff.
00:06:20
Speaker
And then it you started making half... You're experimenting on yourself as well then, it seems. yeah Yeah, just to arm myself, right? Just to kind of get through the day. EMF stands for electromagnetic fields. And every electrical device that we have, whether that is a big TV screen or the smallest mobile phone that we carry in our pocket, emits an electromagnetic field, which is a form of radiation.
00:06:48
Speaker
And as we know, radiation isn't really very good for us. So what you're saying there, when you say that the the radiation can be absorbed by our bodies and it can be absorbed concentration of um radiation absorption is almost the bit of skin next to where you have your mobile phone for example will absorb the most radiation from the phone and the strength of the signal o the strength of the electromagnetic field around the phone changes and differs as depending on what the phone is doing
00:07:22
Speaker
so we're talking about radiation which is coming off the the electrical devices that we are increasingly using almost 24 hours a day so i'm just sitting at my desk at the moment and thinking i have a mobile phone i have wi-fi devices i have a great big computer screen as well i am in an electromagnetic field aren't i Yeah, you you are. And, you know, and we're swimming in it, right? And if you look up, you know, Wi-Fi, you'll see all

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi & Health Concerns

00:07:53
Speaker
your neighbors. I don't know how close you are to your neighbors, you know, but you'll you'll have 8, 10, 15, 20. And it only, you know, it'll bring up the top, you know, either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. So Bluetooth is the other one. yes Now that everything's going like smart home, you know, everything's got a Bluetooth, you know, my my washer and dryer has Bluetooth.
00:08:09
Speaker
ah you know When you're in your car and you've got your mobile phone in the car, the mobile phone is using Bluetooth to enable you to use the the hands-free operation of the mobile phone, but you're sitting inside a metal box.
00:08:22
Speaker
that the the device is emitting. So it's like constant exposure, you know, if you if you think about it, you know, and and so there is something about the distance. So like, for example, if you sleep with your phone right next to your brain, well, you can see in the morning, it'll actually heat up the tissue and all that stuff.
00:08:37
Speaker
Two or three feet away, it doesn't do that nearly as much. So there is an impact the closer it is. yeah So I always recommend, you know, when people are are talking on the phone that they use wired headphones, not the Bluetooth. Because the Bluetooth doesn't really save you from all of, you know, it's still another electromagnetic field right next to your brain, right? With that little chip in the ear or whatever. so for convenience sake, we are trading health for convenience in so in many ways because- For convenience, we're swimming in it. Is it that there are some people who are,
00:09:07
Speaker
more susceptible to the effects of this radiation than other people? Yeah, I think that that's very, very true that some people are going to be more susceptible to it, more sensitive to it. And I think it has to do a lot more with the you know the state of their being already, their constitution, whether they already have a lot of oxidative stress. If you talk about what yeah EMF really kind of does to the body, it affects the cells in a way that it affects what's called their calcium channels that allow or or don't allow certain minerals or nutrients into the cell. Well, what happens is you get oxidative stress or like sort of rusty minerals that get into the cell and they they can kind of gunk up the cell, cause a lot more stress. And this is what, you know, is, is really one of the main contributors in aging.
00:09:50
Speaker
If you're talking about like longevity and quality of life is, is cellular stress is mitigated by whether you have antioxidants or oxidative stress, right? Why is it important to get antioxidants? Because we have so much oxidative stress in the body. But these EMF, these fields create a lot of this cellular stress. And so your cells are tired.
00:10:08
Speaker
They are trying to clean this up constantly. So you have certain antioxidant methods in your body, like creating glutathione, which is the body's master antioxidant. And it recycles when you have the right nutrients on board. But if you're if you're taxing that system so much every day, all the time from everything, not just the EMF, but the food that we eat, you know not not sleeping well, all these other things that are we're accumulating and then, you know, this medicines and the vaccines and the poisons and all that stuff that's in the environment, you know, there's so much oxidative stress. And so people, you know, are just really living a less quality of existence, right? You're just not 100% like you ought to, or you want to be like I want people to be. And we don't notice it you next is necessarily minute to minute because it's happened slowly over many, many days over many, many times. And when I was mentioning that book, when any anytime where we're increasing like the 4G or, like say, the 5G, or when the radar came out or when radio started to come out, every time they do big changes to the EMF of the earth, people get sick.
00:11:08
Speaker
there's there There are ill events or pandemic events every time, right? And the last one was with Wuhan, 5G came out, and now we're talking about corona and all this kind of stuff. And I'm not saying one's causing the other, but it's just You know, there's no coincidence in the fact that when you mess with the EMF, the field, because the earth has its own electromagnetic field. We we talk about the Schumann resonance or the frequencies of the earth.
00:11:30
Speaker
And when you put your bare feet on the ground, you're actually harmonizing with that, with the earth's field. And that's, you know, that's one of the healthiest fields you can be in because it will improve your metabolism. It will detox your body. It will make make your cells age more gracefully.
00:11:45
Speaker
Just grounding, putting your bare foot on the field of the earth and connecting with that. And isn't that interesting? It is very interesting and we've done other episodes of Fit for My Age about the electromagnetic field around the earth and how that can be harnessed is the wrong word to use, I think, but how it can be managed to actually improve our health and walking barefoot around your garden or park is a great way to connect with that energy from the earth's magnetic field and it's almost like purifying your body allowing the the parts that we want out of our body that connect with the earth rather than stay in your body as well but it's interesting in many ways that this is almost like the medicine before we had
00:12:36
Speaker
what we now call medicine. This is things that go back thousands of years in the understanding of these fields around the earth and the impact that they can have on people. this is This is his long-standing medical knowledge really, isn't it?
00:12:51
Speaker
Yeah, it's amazing. And and you're anywhere where there's free medicine, you know, it's it's really awesome to do. i mean, go hug a tree. It's iss free medicine, right? we We kind of make fun of that stuff, but it's so it's so valuable. And there's a lot of research on on grounding, yeah right? You're talking about like diabetic wounds and things that do not heal, no matter what medicine you give them. You you make them go sit 15 minutes with their feet barefoot on the ground and they start to heal.
00:13:14
Speaker
and you know where they're talking about cutting off people's feet and stuff like that with diabetic wounds it's wild it's very wild and it's and there's a lot of evidence to it so there's a lot to you know to be said about what we do not see yes you know yeah and that's kind of the battle we have online sometimes with people they're like well you know we can't see it so how do we know it does anything it's like well look you know the frog doesn't know the water's boiling if it's in the boiling water right because it's just one degree here one degree there And so we don't necessarily feel it, but the cellular stress is there. The signs are there. We're in you know, where we have such low fertility rates. You know, it does affect sperm count. It does affect ovarian health and function. And, you know, that's what the research is showing us as far as the DNA damage.
00:13:54
Speaker
You know, it it's not just about cancer. You know, there's a lot that happens before someone would would get cancer and, you know, just... being sensitive to foods or you're just having no energy right hormonal imbalances loss of sleep you know not being able to recover well what you're essentially saying is that we all exist on the earth the earth has these fields and we can live in harmony with those fields or we can use modern technology to create additional fields which are
00:14:28
Speaker
not always aligned with the earth's magnetic field and therefore that creates the problems which then result in lack of sleep lack of ability to focus lower energy levels as a starting point the thin edge of the wedge and then going through various different stages to that impact on fertility impacts on everything that happens in our body and eventually serious things that might actually lead to premature death Yeah, absolutely. And also makes people more susceptible to illness.

Mobile Phone Usage Advice

00:15:01
Speaker
Yes. Because your immune system is doesn't have the resources it really needs because it's kind of constantly fighting this oxidative stress. Right. So one of the things that I suppose people can do is think about where they're carrying their mobile phone, for example, and how they use their mobile phone.
00:15:18
Speaker
Like you say, use wired headphones rather than the Bluetooth devices. If you're wearing, but you made me think about wearable technology. The things that people put on their wrists to go and do, to go running and put a, yeah ah so some sort of monitor on their wrist to count their steps and track their, the progress and the journey that they've made.
00:15:43
Speaker
That is using signals to connect with satellites to track your journey. And that is creating one of these electromagnetic fields around your body.
00:15:55
Speaker
So what you're doing in order to be healthy, the way in which you do it can actually have a detrimental effect on how you, uh, it sure can. Yeah. I actually had a couple of patients I had to take off of these watches because they kept getting spikes. it literally happened to three guys, three separate gentlemen. They were wearing the, in the United States, so attracts their heart rate. They're just kind of the REM sleep patterns and, that kind of thing.
00:16:20
Speaker
And I, you know, they kept getting these spikes and they thought they were getting atrial fibrillation. So they even did, you know, heart monitor to to check that out. And so I kind of, I asked them about their sleep. right like It only only happens when you're sleeping. And again, this is three separate people. The exact same thing was happening. They're wearing a Fitbit, tracking their stuff at night. They would sleep on their belly, but they would roll over on their hand. So their hand would be over their heart.
00:16:43
Speaker
right around, you know, a certain time at night, and then they would get a spike because that thing was close to their heart. Wow. And it was very, very wild. And so we were able, i got them to finally take it off, you know, and we find another heart monitor. And that never happened again when they when they weren't wearing it. So that was really interesting that it's happening 24 hours a day. when you When you put it close to your heart, for example, yes, there's a proximity thing, but it's happening on a cellular level, even at a certain percentage when you're wearing it. Yeah. And it's To your point of harmonizing, you know there's a lot of erratic you know field signals, a lot of spikes. and and and you know It's kind of a baseline happening 24 hours a day. and then Every so often, it sends the information to whatever the cloud that you're connected to is. and yeah It's interesting because it will cause spikes. It causes these little you know electric spikes in the body. and if If you put it next your brain or to your heart, it will certainly cause some issues as ah there as well.
00:17:33
Speaker
yeah I suppose when you're saying that where you put your mobile phone, I'm thinking about the people who are carrying their mobile phone in there the pocket of their trousers. That's going to impact. Yeah, that front pocket. Yeah, it's it's way too close.
00:17:50
Speaker
Way too close. And it can have a very quick effect on fertility as well, I suppose, can't it? Yeah, it it really doesn't take a long time. you know I don't know how many people are you know sitting in in the office and they're sitting there with their phone and it's right over their testes and their prostate, you know like the men. And the women, you'll see them even at the gyms, they'll put it right in their breast pocket. They'll put it in their bra. Their breast is such delicate tissue. And then that's right next to your heart too. you know and it's It's like we aren't educated enough on this. Yeah. So even like a a man who carries his mobile phone in the back pocket of his jeans could be, or creating a negative impact on his prostate. Yeah.
00:18:29
Speaker
Yeah. And proximity matters, but yes, absolutely. The closer, you know, the worse it is. Wow. For sure.

Introduction to Silver Scrubs for EMF Protection

00:18:35
Speaker
Yeah. You know, I know underwear, we're actually working on some with our, with silverware, my company, and we're working on and design. Because that is something that I want to, want to ask you about as well, because You've launched this company called Silver Scrubs, which is making or started by making scrubs. there oh I'm thinking about the television program that was called Scrubs. It was setting the hospital. But the the the outfits that doctors and nurses wear to work, you're creating them in a way that will help protect medical staff.
00:19:10
Speaker
from the electromagnetic fields that they are constantly in contact with, whether from something big like an um MRI machine or just the the the machinery that they're using just to examine patients.
00:19:23
Speaker
So tell me, please, what is different about the silver scrubs that you have created to in comparison to the scrubs that doctors, nurses have traditionally just thrown on?
00:19:37
Speaker
Yeah, well, thank you. Yeah, so, the you know, the scrubs are really thin in general, like the conventional scrubs are sort of these thin, kind of like, you know easy turnover, you know, products, but they're they're not really protecting you. It's a very thin layer, even just from blood products, right? So that's generally a polyester blend, and it's it's made to just wick off, you know you know, bodily fluids and blood and stuff like that.
00:19:57
Speaker
And so that's that's one thing, but it doesn't protect you from EMF. It's not antimicrobial for the most part. they They do kind of will treat them with certain chemicals that try to make them more antimicrobial and that kind of thing. But the interesting thing is that for one, yes, to your point, where it there's a ton of EMF exposure in in hospitals and clinics and MRI machines, X-ray machines, you're not gonna block X-rays necessarily, but there is a residual field effect. So anytime you have this big like device, like an even an ultrasound, but X-rays, MRIs, there will be sort of residual diminishing of the field. And so even being in that an hour later, you can get some radiation. And as that diminishes, the silver will protect from that. The silver, we've tested it up to 50 gigahertz and having 99.99% blocking of that emf signal through
00:20:47
Speaker
is through the silver, through the actual product. So it's a scrub that's made with with the silver. It's a special patented way to get the silver into the the weave of the the fabric. And it blocks yeah EMF, like I said, up to 50 gigahertz, which is what we call the biological exposure levels are typically under 40 gigahertz, what we are kind of all exposed to, generally speaking. And so it covers the most of what we are generally exposed to.
00:21:12
Speaker
Because those are such high concentrated areas, it can cause insomnia, it can cause you know hormone imbalance, susceptibility to getting sick. And so the cool thing about silver, not only does it block EMF at a very high rate, and this is you're wearing it basically from neck to to ankle, you're you're covering your organs, you're covering your heart, you're covering your body as best as you can. And the silver will spread the signal and bounce and reflect it off as well. So the even the you know the exposed areas are getting much, much less exposure to that EMF.
00:21:43
Speaker
by the virtue of the conductivity of the silver. The other part that's so beautiful is that it's antimicrobial. We did cultural studies to culture the sorry the culture studies to see if anything would grow on it. Viruses, streptococcus, different bacteria, nothing would grow on it. We tried it even corona and HIV, nothing would grow on this material because it's silver.
00:22:03
Speaker
you know Silver wards off the evil, the werewolves, right? The vampires. But in reality, yeah the microbes don't do well silver. And silver is known to be like wound cleansing. they They use silver for rapid healing as well. So it actually can help you heal.
00:22:15
Speaker
So it works as a physical barrier. Also to stop any spread of bacteria and and viruses. So it's naturally more antimicrobial than pretty much everything on the market. Right. um as well as it blocks you know yeah emf superiorly because nothing else is really on the market for spur for clinics for for hospitals for nurses doctors for you know for medical workers frontline people that actually protect them in the same way so the goal is to protect them through and through as best as we can right and so yeah they have better days they're you know the idea is that they that you can sleep better what we hear from people wearing in the nurses that we've had wearing them is that They didn't realize that they weren't sleeping well. They weren't recovering. So they've kind of been running in like burnout mode and they're able to get better sleep just wearing the the scrubs for a day or two. and it's It's very impressive, right which you should which should ah translate to more work days, less time off, less sick days. Are these the sort of things that someone would wear once and then they're disposed of or they reusable, washable? Yeah, they're reusable, they're washable. Yeah, thank you. That's a great question. Because of the silver, doesn't allow the bacteria to form. They're they're not odorless, but they really reduce odors. you know they They barely ever get any smell or stink to them because they...
00:23:27
Speaker
So they they last a lot longer without being washed. And we do ask that we wash in delicate and and hang dry or dry really low. So there's some washing you know instructions to protect the silver for the longevity of it.
00:23:38
Speaker
But we're testing to to meet the standards of 50 to 75 washes. So that's kind of the industry standard for scrubs is that it it's able to sustain 50 up to 60 plus washes where we're actually shooting for higher than that. So it meets the standard of the washability of being able to use it. You can you know use the the scrub you know every day a week. You might want to get one pair for each day kind of thing.
00:23:58
Speaker
But they're meant to last. um you know The average lifetime of a scrub is actually six months anyway. you dad This is a normal, you you know your conventional scrub. So we want it to last even longer. you know and silver is is is a very solid you know substance.
00:24:12
Speaker
But just like any, they're great over time. Yes. and But it's meant to last. It's meant to be reused and washed. It lasts longer without being washed because of the silver. It kind of is self-cleaning in that regard. Okay. So I'm six foot tall and then not skinny with it, but you know, not fat either. So I'm six foot tall and imagine that I'm medically qualified for once as if I wish, and I'm wearing the scrubs from silver scrubs.
00:24:41

How much silver is in the scrubs that I'm wearing? So we we have kind of a proprietary formula basically, but we, yeah, you're wearing about 40% of the fabric is silver. So it's, I mean, it's real silver, right? So it actually has value. and We can melt it down. It's maybe one day we'll do a kind of a return recycle program or something, but it's enough to cover, you know, the surface area of the the length of the garment. So it's through and through the whole garment.

Brilliant. ah But now you're also investigating things that the real mead, non-medically qualified mead can also wear as well.

EMF Protective Clothing for Public Use

Yeah. So we actually ah started with hats first. So while we were developing the, um the hats, because for me it was, you know, when I wore the EMF blocking hats, I could think better. Oh my God. Like imagine that the buzz stops and my mind is more clear, you know? And for me, my brain is the moneymaker, right? That's so important for me. Yes. And so, and so I would, I kind of wear hats every time I could and I wasn't wearing it necessarily with, with patients and all that, but we made hats and we found out that the, the hats didn't have any enough protection on the bill. So most,

hats on the market, I think all of them that we tested, we tested a a ton of them, didn't have any silver on the actual bill in the front of the hat. And so we were like, well, that's that's stupid. Why not? So we put silver all around the bill of the hat. So your frontal lobe, right, your personality, your get up and go, your executive function is more protected than you know anything that was on the market. So we started with the hats originally. While we were doing the hats, it was kind of like this this light you know, this bright light moment.

Oh my God. Like I'm wearing two garments. Why not just make the scrubs? And we looked into it. Nobody was making scrubs. you know, no one's even really touched this, this market. And it is one of the areas where people are the most highly exposed.

And yeah, and so like, I love the hats. We're right now we wear the hats. We're working on making some shirts, working on a different design for shirts and underwear right now. We do make cell phone pouches for just the general public. It's great to, you know, if you have it in your pocket whatever, you can put it in a cell phone pouch so you don't have to necessarily wear, you know, the full gear if you don't want, at least for your own cell phone. You can do that, you know, when you're asleep, if your cell phone and it has to be near you at at night, you can put your cell phone in a pouch.

We make blankets right now. we have large and small blankets. So it's a growing business as well then. It all sounds really exciting, Dr. Estrada. sounds really exciting and and really making a difference. But I'm sure there is much more that we could talk about, but unfortunately time um time flies, doesn't it?
