The Universal Desire for Peace and Energy

So why, in my 38 years of life, am I so deeply convicted that Aligned Living is a game changer?

Well, as I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds and spaces, there is a common denominator I have been witness to. And that is this deep desire to be well, to be at peace.

to feel energized and inspired. And I will take the risk to make the generalization that most people desire shalom, or in other words, wholeness in their own lives, and to see this played out in the lives of those that they care about, whether it's your family or friends, or even your teams and organizations, and of course, our neighbors in our communities.

So a line living for me manifests these desires into reality. A line living is wholeness. It's the foundation for Shalom. It's also sustained energy and it's living inspired and being on purpose. It's increased capacity and fulfillment. Living aligned is the pursuit of holistic well-being.

Our drills, excuse my analogies, but I love analogies, will include practical, sustainable rhythms that you can incorporate into your life, no matter your context or no matter your goals. And we will then cool down with a practice you could do in five minutes or less.

Dr. Autumn's Personal Journey and Stress Management

Quite honestly, I've been told for years, and I mean years, to start a podcast focused on my passion and my expertise, which is Align Living. It's how I view the world and it's how I want to change the world. However, I just never felt the timing was right.

So why did I choose now, which to be honest, and I'll tell you more about this in future episodes, but now is arguably the most challenging season of my entire life. Why did I choose this time, this season, to embark on this new journey?

I asked God to show me how to use this season to impact others. And what I felt so deeply in my heart was people at some point will be faced with stress and challenges. Many of you listening to this right now are in the middle of intense strengths and challenges.

The value of embracing this journey of wholeness as a lifestyle is that we can learn to pivot when faced with the stuff and stay aligned in the midst of it all. That's our goal.

So I hope to not only equip you with tools for wholeness and show you how to impact the spaces you have influence over, but to feel equipped to do so in the midst of a very full life, in the midst of challenges, in the midst of hardship, in the midst of even feelings of sadness and pain and hurt, and again, lots of stress. And I can't wait.

till the episodes where I get to talk about all about managing stress in healthy ways. You will thank me for it, trust me. During my season, personally of massive stress, I ended up hiring a holistic doctor to help me with a couple of things. And in this process, she told me that stress isn't something to avoid. It's inevitable, okay? That was a change of mindset for me.

And the goal is actually to learn how to manage stress in a healthy way. This made so much sense to me because in my health coaching, I always talk about the importance of coping in healthy ways and to consider the choices we make.

now faced with stress I couldn't avoid, right? There's always things outside our control. I had to consider what was in my control and what I could do to manage this stress well in support of continuing to live in alignment, okay? I'm so excited to talk to you all more about this. It's life-changing.

So from what I've seen in working with people from all walks of life is that the pursuit of alignment is just not a priority. People fill their lives up with all the things and are waiting for the right time to have to have time to integrate habits or rhythms that will support their overall well-being, right? How many of you have said, okay, I'm just going to wait till I'm in this certain space or I have this right balance or

The timing is just right. But in working with community leaders, I literally saw that without alignment, people were struggling with fatigue and had unhealthy coping of stress and a lack of well-being and a lack of vitality and focus. Burnout was just too common and it still is.

And so we can't wait for the right time. We have to acknowledge that that balance won't come, that we have to just make aligned living a priority. And that is what I want to help you do. I want to help you make aligned living a priority. And that is where the magic will happen. And what do I mean by this?

Well, the exciting thing, the hopeful thing for you to look forward to is that everything else in life will improve when you do. Your capacity will increase as your health, your energy, focus, and so forth increases, right? Your fulfillment will improve when you feel better and are enjoying the things you do with greater physical health, greater mental and emotional well-being.

you will breathe a bit deeper because of the level of social and economic wellbeing in your life. And living aligned quite honestly will leave you feeling more on purpose and with a greater sense of peace because of a growth in your spiritual wellness. or you lack the energy or you lack the motivation. And if, again, I will say it again, if you are waiting to find that perfect balance in life before you begin, you will be waiting a very, very long time. Balance is a term I just don't like.

It sets people up for failure because life isn't about finding balance, but it's about embracing rhythms. Everything in life happens in rhythms. It just makes sense intuitively. And of course, I'll talk a lot more about rhythms in the future to help you really embrace this concept and understand it more deeply.

Basically, a little insight is that balance is static, okay? And life is not. Rhythms just allow for integrating lifestyle practices because life happens in rhythms. Life's dynamic. So stop waiting on balance and let's just move together forward. Let's begin.
