In this episode Dr. Brett Scott sits down with Ted Bezemer, PT. Ted invented the Axio training tool, which if you have ever had shoulder pain or still dealing with a nagging shoulder injury, the Axio trainer is something you should definitely look into getting! It's a very simple and effective tool for rehabbing virtually any type of shoulder injury and getting you back into training.

Ted is a physical therapist that's been doing PT for 27 years. He's a sports clinical specialist and he's been a strength coach for nearly 30 years. He is also a orthopedic clinical specialist sports specialist, PI certified and has a Certified Strength and Conditioning speciality certification. Some of you might be familiar with body blades, and a lot of banded exercises and stability work; the Axio is something that kind of puts all of that in one where we can start in a fairly simple level of achievement and then improve as we go on and make those exercises harder and harder.

During this episode, Ted explains how one could use it for a lot of lower body and core exercises and training as well. The Axio itself is now being used by multiple or many MLB athletes, through the NFL Combine, and is being integrated in physical therapy clinics and physical therapy conferences. Between CSM, plenty of private practices are using it, including us at Barbell Therapy, National Academy of Sports Medicine, the NSCA, and the Department of Defense now.   Brett & Ted talk all about shoulder mechanics, how the Axio trainer is so effective and why it's so something super portable you can take on the go. Whether you've had a labrum tear, biceps, tendinitis, rotator cuff tendinitis, rotator cuff tears, impingement syndrome the Axio will make you stronger, more stable, more mobile, more robust and more resilient.
