In this episode Dr. Brett Scott sits down with Dr. Sarah Vose, PT, DPT . They talk all about trauma and how it affects your body movement, lifestyle and wellness. Dr. Vose is considered a physical therapist, but also a trauma informed practitioner and has a very unique practice.  People have many unresolved issues that they can't get to the root cause of after going through scans or even blood work.

Dr. Vose takes a very different and more holistic approach in her practice to try to get down to the root of one's ailments.  She does things like visceral manipulation, which is looking at how the organs function to it, how they play into your systemic health, maybe systemic swelling, inflammation, and so forth.  She also does cranial sacral therapy, which is something of a unique practice within the physical therapy fields, as well as Somatic Emotional Release Therapy and neural system manipulation.

Dr. Vose also works with and sees a lot of patients with food sensitivities, leaky gut,  autoimmune disorders, concussions. In this episode she goes into a lot of stories about different approaches she has taken when treating and how it works. Lastly Dr. Scott & Dr. Vose  dive into how trauma isn't just affecting your emotional health or your mental health, but it does affect a lot of your physical health and your gut health too.
