00:04:56
Speaker
Fouacast culture.
00:04:59
Speaker
And mental wellness should be a priority. Number one, it's important. Like, listen to your body, listen to how you're feeling.
00:05:11
Speaker
Do whatever you need to do to get that in check. And fuck the hustle culture. For real. You feel me? When life feels messy, what's your go-to comfort food?
00:05:25
Speaker
Oh my God, soup. Soup? What kind of soup? home all kinds Home-cooked chicken soup. Chicken soup. So... um
00:05:35
Speaker
I'm Tanzania and there's a way we make our our chicken soup. Gonna have the spices everything. was about to say, you can can't skimp on the spices. So that, but for some reason if I'm lazy to cook, cause sometimes you know you want that, but you're too lazy.
00:05:53
Speaker
um Junior has an amazing chicken soup that I go to. And inhow if I'm a little bit broke, um Chick-fil-A is a good chicken noodle soup.
00:06:06
Speaker
It's also my, um when I'm still kind of drunk and I need a pick-me-up, that is my go-to. So yeah, but soup all day, every day. Shout out Chick-fil-A. I'm going to have to check out their soup now.
00:06:21
Speaker
What's one thing that surprised you about being here at Podcast Movement? how much i am known and valued. She's, let me tell y'all, she's the queen of podcast movement.
00:06:33
Speaker
They love her here. Everyone loves loves Paula, knows Paula. I'm putting her on and everyone that I meet, like I'm here because of Paula. So it's a good feeling because literally this is my first year anniversary because I came to podcast movement the first time last year in DC. Mm-hmm.
00:06:52
Speaker
And I've been with them in Chicago. and so But to come back and to have people excited that you're back, that they want you here, that you're going around and everybody's telling everybody, wow, like it's just a beautiful feeling.
00:07:05
Speaker
And sometimes we underestimate our own power until you're around people who are like making you feel like you're the shit and you're like, damn, I am the shit. yeah That's right. And I'm looking at my phone because we're actively on the clock while while we are here at Podcast Movement. But we getting this episode in.
00:07:21
Speaker
Okay, last question for you, Paula. Finish the sentence, people would be surprised to know.
00:07:28
Speaker
how small I am. Oh my god! She's tiny! like Like, I think people see it on social media and whatever, but when it comes to real life, and then for some reason they always want to pick me up, and then when they pick me up and realize how light I am as well, they're like, oh my god, you're literally like tiny, and I'm like, duh! You have tall woman energy. you really do.

00:08:41
Speaker
Beautiful. Beautiful. What's your honest take on hustle culture and mental wellness?
00:08:48
Speaker
It's a double-edged sword. So I literally just quit my job on the 18th. I think it's on the 22nd, 21st? yeah Three days ago. wow And for my whole life, I've been on the hustle so hustle culture and I've been working full-time in events in the industry.
00:09:02
Speaker
So gig work is like my first love. But I like the spontaneity and the instability. A lot of people can't thrive in that. I don't thrive in corporate monotonous routine. So it's for, like, both are for everyone. yeah But one is for some.
00:09:19
Speaker
That's all I got. You're not new to this. You're true to this. I like the hustle culture, but a lot of people don't love it. You're doing a great job so far. And I i can't tell. i can't tell. Didn't sleep last night. You're well.
00:09:30
Speaker
Just came straight here. When life feels messy, what's your go-to comfort food? Mmm, so I'm from Florida. I love crab looks. I will get a crab tray from Rod's Crab Shack, a monument in Jacksonville, Florida. ah Crab trays, seafood, anything really heavy, salty, and savory. I have a salt tooth instead of a sweet tooth.
00:09:51
Speaker
See, I'm a sweet, no, no, I am. I'm a salty, I'm mom i'm a salty girl. I do like salty, do like salty. What's one thing that surprised you about being here at Podcast Movement? One thing that surprised me is that I'm on a podcast right now.
00:10:04
Speaker
I didn't know what to expect of this. This was my first one. And I talk a lot. I do. That's why the voice is gone. She's natural. Thank you. A natural. like Get on a show today I'm inspired. I tell you, excited and inspired. I didn't think I would be talking to anyone, so thank you for grabbing me You're welcome. Okay, and last but not least, finish this sentence.
00:10:23
Speaker
People would be surprised to know. People would be surprised to know that I am a professional cosplayer. A professional cosplayer? Yes, I play dress-up for fun and money. Great.
00:10:36
Speaker
Period. You said I'm pulling all these. Look, I got a lot hats. That's why i say the hustle culture. That's my thing. But yes, I cosplay. I body paint. So I'm usually not brown. I'm green, blue, pink, literally every color. Very nice. Well, I'm so glad I met you. Where can my listeners find you? So I have 13 Instagrams, but I will give you the main.
00:10:54
Speaker
It's TierraBreeTheModel. It's T-I-A-R-A-B-R-E-E, i a r a b r e e the model um And then everything trickles down from there. She models too, y'all. That's beautiful. As a child. Look, it's just a nickname from childhood. Beautiful. Thank you for joining me. i appreciate you. Thank you. You're welcome.
00:11:08
Speaker
I feel you. Hey, guys. this is Victoria again from Podcast Movement.

Loyalty on Entrepreneurship and Personal Journey

00:11:11
Speaker
I'm here today with Loyalty. You're the one and only. my fellow room track manager that I met here today. Loyalty also has this... Please tell me a little bit about these lip glosses that you have with the the mirror and the light right here. Tell me about right. So, guys, first off, let me tell y'all, this is your girl, Loyalty. Of course, um I represent the Loyalty and Friends Self-Love Podcast.
00:11:34
Speaker
But I'm with my girl Victoria today and yes, she really supported us and I thought it was amazing. She asked you about some of lip gloss and this is my baby's lip gloss, Essence. I am victorious.
00:11:45
Speaker
Yes. the wrist bracelet, with the affirmations, I am kind, I am enough, I am thankful, i am i am the best Absolutely. So about the brand, of course, the actual brand name is I Am Essence Ache.
00:11:59
Speaker
However, every single one, we have five different brands right now, five different flavors. Each one has an affirmation. And for Victoria, when she asked me about it, said, I think I Am Victoria's would be the perfect one for you. And that is the shade that she actually chose, which I thought was amazing.
00:12:16
Speaker
And so what are your what are your reviews as far as the lip gloss? It feels great. It goes on very smooth. It's not gritty or anything. I love the light and the mirror on the back. And we could go deep into this all day. But I'm so grateful for the little light on there, too. So I really hope you get on Shark Tank with this one day. Because this essence is amazing. Absolutely. Not only that, um part of my vision was to show other parents how they can also... you know, create entrepreneurs. She's only five, right? So we got her lip gloss out and then and within the next two months, we would actually be launching her book. It is the I Am Essence Ache book and it's all about affirmations and now i'm a true believer affirmation because that teaches us how to speak to ourselves, right?
00:12:59
Speaker
So we should definitely be honing in to our babies and I feel like it'll also help the parents because if they're, you know, speaking this to their children and they're showing them affirmations, then they'll have a better belief system in themselves as well.
00:13:11
Speaker
So overall it pays for it. So I just thank God for giving me the vision and Essence, Ashe is her name. So I branded her name overall, all which is powerful. Essence in itself is an affirmation and Ashe, you know, amen. yeah So when you really think about it, it just really confirmation for me um with the initiative. I'm the youth coordinator at our church.
00:13:32
Speaker
So yes, I want to have a youth entrepreneurship where we can do pop-up shops all in Atlanta and everywhere. And then we're going to have an authorship program where um children can actually get the thoughts out of their mind and become authors. That is a huge thing. We're going to teach them about media and production. We want to start a youth podcast. Let's talk it. Okay. So hopefully next year, you know, the podcast movement will have a youth center, you know, where we can really educate them and hone into them. Maybe podcast movement, kids.
00:13:59
Speaker
Come on. 2.0. Let's pitch it. Let's pitch it. Okay. So I'm going to get into these five speed round questions. Are you ready? I'm ready. Let's get All right. How are you feeling right now in this moment? Man, I'm feeling on cloud nine. Listen, yesterday don't owe us nothing. We turned up, okay? We love the parties here. Yes. At Podcast Movement.
00:14:16
Speaker
What's your honest take on hustle culture and mental wellness? Ooh, I love that hustle culture. You know, living from Atlanta, you know, you really have to grind, grind, grind, especially when you're from that system.
00:14:29
Speaker
It's kind of in you. You learn how to hustle, you know, but, you know, in our culture, we really have to just be more consistent, I would say. So that's really what the hustle is about, being consistent with your people so they can show up for you in an amazing way. So i love it. I love it.
00:14:43
Speaker
Cool. When life feels messy, what's your go-to comfort food? probably ice cream though ice cream yes i love chocolate chip cookie dough the cookie dough i'm a strawberry girl i starberry star and it has to be the the real strawberry i don't like like the imitation artificial right yes it has to have the real strawberries in it it's not strawberry ice cream otherwise okay okay what's one thing that surprised you about being here at podcast movement Well, this is my third time being here. um I will say what really surprised me is a lot of people from previously remember me, you know. it So it's amazing to be able to walk in rooms and people like, hey, loyalty, hey, loyalty. And it's just like the wow factor because sometimes you don't even realize you're making an impact on people, especially because
00:15:30
Speaker
You know, we're considered workers, not necessarily, you know, we're personalities regardless. It don't matter what we got on the shirt or not. right Yeah, we're part of the production team. Absolutely. But how you show up is really important. So it's good to always show up and let your light shine because people will remember you and you become rememberable. So that's been my biggest blessing. That's beautiful. Yes. OK, last question. Finish the sentence. People would be surprised to know.
00:15:54
Speaker
Hmm, people would be surprised to know that I was a teenage mother at the age of 17. have three amazing daughters, okay? And there i have two in college, okay? One is doing industrial engineering, the other one she wants to be a medical doctor. They're both in the military.
00:16:11
Speaker
And my oldest daughter is doing assistant living, and I have a bonus baby that I also adopted who's now five. so Yeah, fun fact. People sometimes judge you by your it looks, right? But I'm very educated. I've been in my house for 17 years owning my house, okay? Ownership.
00:16:28
Speaker
Home ownership is the way. And last but not least, I have my bachelor's degree as well. And thinking about going back for master's, I don't know, y'all. don't Don't hold me to it yet. got to pray about it.
00:16:39
Speaker
I got two of them. So if you need talk to me. Just talk to me about it. Talk to me about it. but where can my Where can my listeners find you? Absolutely so. You all can follow my movement. Of course, loyalty loyalty in everything. I know I got a little Southern draw, so I'm going to spell it out.
00:16:55
Speaker
That's L-O-Y-A-L-T-Y. I is in India. N is in Nazi. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Or you can go to the nonprofit website, which is liefoundation.org. Again, that's liefoundation.org.
00:17:11
Speaker
And yes, come support. You know, you can share. Sharing is caring. It doesn't cost you anything. Or if you feel led to, you know, give us a donation, man. We would love to tap in. And all dollars matter, okay? From one penny to whatever you have that will be be a blessing for our ministry. So thank you.
00:17:29
Speaker
Thank you. Yes, this has been amazing. Victoria, I do this again, girl. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you. Thank you, loyalty. See, that was perfect. Perfect.
00:17:41
Speaker
You feel me?
