Introduction and Guest Welcome

Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome to GSPN Daily Forest for our 50th episode. Joining me, Stuart, is Marley. And Marley, I think you've probably been on more episodes of the 50 than any others, probably your 40th cap, if not more. So Marley, thanks again for your dedication to forest and for your time on this podcast.
00:00:27
Marley
You are very welcome. I think it's because I work part time, got a lot more free time. Hoping that changes soon because I'm looking for apprenticeships, but we'll see. Hopefully I still get plenty of time to record these.

Chris Wood's Record Achievement

00:00:39
Marley
And talking about record makers, let's talk about the one straight away from Saturday, Chris Wood, the record goal scorer in a Premier League for Nottingham Forest.
00:00:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, definitely. It's just quite um incredible how how quick he's got there. Remember he joined in January, 2023. So less than two years ago in the first half season, his only goal was ah that tap in to complete the passing move in in the home draw against Man City. So really it's something he's done since in in the year, year or less than a year of of Nuno. So yeah, it just shows goes to show that someone who we were all dismissing as as a flop in in the last few months of Steve Cooper has proven to be an absolute bargain at £15 million.

Forest's Premier League Standings

pounds
00:01:30
Marley
Yeah, I think All it really took was one moment to get his confidence going and to get a regular run of games. Obviously, uh, last season, Taiwan's injury and his goal against Sheffield United, his goals against Luton will have given him the confidence and the starts he needed to get a few goals under his belt quickly. And obviously this season he's come into it firing on all cylinders. He's in the form of his life and he's just playing so well. I'm really not surprised. He's overtaken Brian Roy. And if I'm not mistaken.
00:01:58
Marley
Rest with being our third season might be our longest spell in the league since it became the Premier League back in 1993.
00:02:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I, you're right. Um, so sort of joint longest, um, between 94 and 97, we were up those three years. So 95, 96, 97.
00:02:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
So we're equaling that. And I think we can safely say we're

Marley's Match Attendance and Work Flexibility

00:02:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
not going to get relegated. So we will get that first ever fourth season, uh, in a row in, in the premier league where we can safely say that can't be Marley.
00:02:28
Marley
most likely so yes we are currently fifth in the Premier League after Leicester drew with Brighton and Arsenal drew with Fulham preventing Fulham or Brighton overtaking us in the league both Wolves and West Ham are safely down there they cannot overtake us tonight so we will stay fifth for the entire week and that means that there's more chance of me wearing underpants on my head after a European qualification is confirmed
00:02:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's so what 15 games in and nothing forest are safe. I think we can. but Very clearly say that.
00:02:57
Marley
when the result was getting relegated
00:02:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think well what what number episode of the podcast was that? Was that episode five or could it even have been earlier on? I think when Mark made a joking prediction about the conference league, which yet every, every recall most is looking, looking more possible.
00:03:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
um It's what we'd like to start with Marley. So you, I know you mentioned that you, by working part-time. The benefits of that means you can be checking the forest ticket office very frequently so you're able to attend both trips to Manchester in in the past week.

Player Spotlight: Elliot Anderson

00:03:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah So before we talk about how your second experience of Manchester went, let's play the voice note that you sent to the group chat yesterday, so the day after the game, and then you can see if your thoughts have stayed the same or whether you've had time a chance to have a more measured thought about the game since yesterday.
00:04:32
Marley
um
00:04:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, so interesting thoughts as to showing how excellent it was that you said Eddie Anderson was the man of the match, but others might have said Gibbs White or um Chris Wood or Milankovic. Are you sticking to that marla that you would have named Eddie Anderson as as the man of the match on Saturday?
00:04:52
Marley
ah

Debate on Anderson's Positioning

00:04:53
Marley
Yes, I am, because although other players you mentioned did play really well, both of them scored goals, the defence was rock solid, it gives why it was very creative, got the assist. I just think, throughout the game, the person who impressed me the most, the person who did the most things individually, which I thought, wow, that is exceptional, was Elliot Anderson, thinking back to certain moments in the game, he's one of the only players I can think of where I actually saw a moment in the game and deliberately just put my arm off the game to watch that one player to try and figure out who it was.
00:05:23
Marley
to solve a number on their back that's like the level of he was just a level above anyone else on that pitch even on the united side
00:05:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, we talked a lot on this podcast about playing Elliot Anderson or Gibbs White in in the 10 role. But do you think Anderson has now made the position his own, starting in the two alongside Yates? Or do you think his flexibility and his ah qualities mean he will still be moved around the team, sometimes on the wing, sometimes more attacking, sometimes more in the two? Or did we see the best of him on Saturday?
00:05:56
Marley
I think it really, really depends, honestly. I think he's definitely earned his place next to Yates, but I don't want to see him start next to Yates every game because although it's a very good partnership, I think it leaves us to open with Elliott Anderson naturally be more attacking and Yates wanting to play more attacking. It leaves his way to open. So I think against some teams having Danilo in there and possibly, well, when he's back, possibly say, God, when he's back or at the minute Dominguez in there will be a lot more sound defensively, Lee was a lot more compact in the midfield, but when we can be ah afford to be a bit more open in midfield, I do think he's going to keep his place.
00:06:34
Marley
I also do think, yes, he

Team Lineup and Tactical Analysis

00:06:36
Marley
will play a bit in the 10 role when Gibbs White's not playing there or on the wing when we need him to, because he is that utility player and he's something we've been crying out for for years. So I think we'll make the most of that as well.
00:06:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Did it it is surprise you then when ah you were in Old Trafford and you saw that the team sheet an hour and a bit before kickoff and that it was Anderson and and Yates in the two and not a that very defensive formation we saw against Liverpool with Anderson and Dominguez on the wings and Yates and Ward Prowse in the midfield. Was that surprising or because we were above Manchester United and in the table um and yeah why why shouldn't we go go go at them and in an an attacking way?
00:07:14
Marley
yeah I think it surprised us, yeah, because I think we all we all knew that United, having a new manager bounce, they're capable side, don't let league position fool us. So we were, I think we were expecting after how City went to try and play a back five and have a strong midfield. A back four was a bit of a shock. Like an unchanged lineup was definitely a bit of a shock and essentially unchanged lineup was.
00:07:39
Marley
but I really do think it worked and I think United were definitely there for the taking and we definitely went and took them, which is rare because we never go and take teams who whatever to whatever the taking.
00:07:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, definitely. um So let's start off with the there's attacking players then. um So we mentioned the unchanged lineup. It was actually unchanged from the previous week. So the three changes made midweek were reversed, which meant Nika Williams was back in for Marejna, who actually was injured.
00:08:01
Marley
no
00:08:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
I haven't heard otherwise. um Anderson was back in for Dominguez and Elanga back in for Sorry, Hudson-Adoy back in for Alanga. So do you think we're seeing

Concerns and Solutions for Taiwo's Fitness

00:08:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
Juffter Silva make that position his own? Oh, Juffter Silva and Hudson-Adoy now our first choice two wingers, or again, does it depend on the situation that we've got lots of great players rather than a first choice and a backup?
00:08:31
Marley
I think it's a major of both. I would love to think that Jota is making it his own. Jota is going to get more starts as much as Oliver Langer. I think Jota just offers a bit more down that wing. But at the same time, I think there's times for both players. And I wouldn't say we've got a set starter and a set backup because I think we've got players as such quality. But if one player just seems slightly off it, we've got a quality replacement ready to step into their position. Remind them that it's not guaranteed. They're going to start week in, week out. And Langer is unfortunately just the first player to feel the full brunt of that force.
00:09:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think it's definitely important. I think you probably say, so of the four-wingers, you probably say it's Hasenadoy, Alanga, and Jota of three fighting for two. And Jota is, ah sorry, not Jota, Ramon Soeza is that is it the fourth of the four at the moment. We haven't yet seen him start, but there the games are coming thick and fast as the Epic Cup game against Luton, which I think is a good level of opposition. So it's not someone too easy or too difficult. It will be a good workout for the players who come in, but it should be one that we're going to come up it and win against.
00:09:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
But yeah, I think the, whichever of those wingers are playing, they're dovetailing very nicely with Chris Wood, as we've already seen. Um, I know he only played a cameo in stoppage time. Do you think that's all Tyrone is good for at the moment, stoppage time cameos, or were there some, did he at least move, move well in your eyes? Does he look fit now? And was he going to be finding the goals again soon to really put pressure on Chris Wood for the place on the team?
00:09:56
Marley
I do think he's only really good for cameos off a bench in a minute because I'll be honest when he comes on the pitch his movement off the ball is improving a bit but when he receives the ball I still think he looks fresh off that surgery table if I'm honest he doesn't look fully fit yet at all I think he needs 90 minutes against Luton to try and just try and get more minutes in his legs see if that'll help him boost his fitness
00:10:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think that's, it's worrying because the season is, it's December. I said it was 15 games in. Um, and yet if he's not getting fit, I mean, he's been in every, I don't think I'm wrong. He's been on every match day squad. He hasn't had a new injury this season. He just isn't, isn't getting the minutes and with us being out early in the Carabao, it just means that there's no real opportunities.
00:10:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
to get minutes. And those are things like an international duty. He was the nigerian last Nigeria squad he was in. They were stuck in the airport and he didn't play. Then he wasn't in squad the second time. yeah It just is unfortunate that he has someone that needs to um play his way into form, play his way into fitness. And he just isn't doing that, which maybe means he isn't the ideal backup if he is a starting strike or not at all.
00:11:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
then maybe we loan him out in January and he has a half a season back playing regular somewhere. We'll need to get a backup striker in, of course. But again, if you if we are going to sign a striker, I think what that means, we need to loan out Taiwan.
00:11:22
Marley
Yeah, it's a difficult one because he's definitely capable. I remember I saw him on, on the pitch against Fulham in his only Premier League start of the season and I thought he looked capable at times then, but he did also look unfit at times as well. So I do think maybe a loan will be an all right option, but the question is where to, you know, who's going to take a strike who doesn't look very fit on loan. And if I do take him on loan, will it pay off or will it backfire will Will it pay off? He'll gain his fitness back. Will it backfire and have a poor loan? Maybe pick up a new fresh injury. You know, maybe that is just got set to be one of those careers where what if he didn't get injured, but injuries do cost him.
00:12:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. I think he would walk

Defensive Performance and Goalkeeper Praise

00:12:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
into, I know we're having, this is very speculative, but he would walk into that Southampton team, for example. So if there's the option there of him getting alone with Southampton, even if you get 10, 12 games, four, five goals, they will come back in the summer. Chris would be that bit older and then he'd be a real good option again, having spent six months away from the city round.
00:12:29
Marley
Yeah, so it would be an idea because the obviously he does walk into those teams and spending six months away, getting regular game time, he could come back and he could be on fire, but it's just a risk of whether or not they'd actually take him when he's been out for so long. He's not looked fit because let's face itself having to do really a need in January of someone to try and boost them up that table, get them away from relegation. I don't think they want to take the risk.
00:12:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, but how many times have we, over the years, signed players who are unfit and never go on to prove their fitness? We could maybe do a wildcard Wednesday, 11 of unfit players, Forrest, have signed, who never, never really did anything. Not that Taiwo is on scrap heap. That's sort of scrap heap in the same way that players such as Jesse Lingard may well have been. um but Before we talk, ga actually, Marley, about how Forrest looks defensively, we'll quickly have an advert.
00:13:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
So defensively, Marley, we mentioned at the start that we've finally broken that 3-2 curse and won again, 3-2. Do you think Forest should have won at 3-0 or how did you look defensively in general across the game?
00:13:42
Marley
sensitively i think we look sound we look really really good if i'm honest um i don't think it should be yeah It could have been 3-0 based off why we played defensively, but the goals both in a way weren't really solvable by good defence. The ball to open us up was an exceptional ball for the first goal and the actual goal after a great save from Sells came from a lucky rebound. It was one of those where the ball could go in a number of directions and unfortunately for us it went there.
00:14:13
Marley
um And the second goal was just a very good strike from Bruno Fernandes Unstoppable strike and I'm not sure if it took a deflection or not
00:14:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Matt sells, again, you can't blame him for each either of the two goals. It's probably been quite some time since we'd say that goal was definitely due to a sales error. Is he your number one going into next season as well? Or is it still in the back of your mind that even Kelleher might be available from Liverpool?
00:14:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Aaron Remmsdale, if stuff happens to go down, which they will, he'll probably be on the market again. Would you still be looking to upgrade on sales? Or has he done enough to convince you that he can be the long-term number one for Forrest?
00:14:54
Marley
He asked me this a year ago. I'd have pounced on Ramsdale because I love him. I think he's a great keeper and I'd have loved to see him at Forest, but after I started the season, I don't think we need him. I think Matt Sells is an exceptional keeper and I think Carlos Miguel look capable, very capable against ah in the open training session and against Newcastle to the point that I also think we've got a very good backup and possibly future number one in him when Selz calls it a day because of age or when his age catches up with him and he wants to move down a level.
00:15:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
Perfect. It means we don't need to splash any of that budget on on a keeper. if We've got those two already passing passing your eye test. Niko Williams, I'm sorry, I wasn't able to catch the game live. So at the previous week, game when Williams started against Ipswich, he started on the left back, but then switched flanks with Aina pretty quickly.
00:15:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
What happened in Manchester from when I gather it was Nico Williams' left back the whole game and Aina right back the whole game? Was that right? And do you think that was the right decision?
00:15:57
Marley
Um, it seems like they kind of intertwined at times, depending on situation. I don't think they went into the game with us, like they would have had a set left back and right back. And that's what it has stood from setting up and stuff. But when the ball gets cleared and what, and they press out, whichever one of them is pressing the ball goes to that side, the other one's more than capable of covering.
00:16:18
Marley
at the left back position or right back position. Both of them played on the left back position at times in the first half. I definitely remember because one player I've seen on the einer clear the ball down the left. The next second I've seen Nika Williams clear it down. But I definitely think that is the correct way to set it up because they're both more than capable on both sides attacking and defending and they're both exceptional players. So I guess it is kind of, when you're a kid, you're playing rush goalie. It's just whoever happens to be on that side of the pitch at that time covers that fullback position, as long as one of them is covering each fullback position is probably the way forward.
00:16:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, and they're definitely both intelligent enough to to play that role. They don't need to be bossed around by Milenkovich, Ola, stay right, Nico, stay left. They're both intelligent enough and and fluid enough, both coming through ah elite academies at Liverpool and Chelsea that they, I'm sure, have always trained and played with the no-no, the importance of being able to play on either side.
00:17:14
Marley
Yeah, and um another thing I did like, by the way, was was the desire in the team. You didn't really see any time wasting at all. Like the only time wasting, I only saw three bits of time wasting in the

Shift in Forest's Tactical Mentality

00:17:26
Marley
whole game. One of them was cells lying on top of the ball for a bit longer than he normally would. One of them was right at the end of the game when it was the end of stoppage time and Alanga held the ball in the corner to get fouled and see the full-time whistle in. The third wasn't even our player. For some reason, Andre Ohnana decided to do that put the free kick in the wrong place, time-wasting thing when his team were 3-2 down, which is, it was hilarious from the away end, but I never understand it. But other than that, it was never time-wasting. It was always head up, head straight for the goal rather than head for the corner. And I love that. I remember against Leicester, we were headed for the corner, or no, Chelsea it was, we were trying to head to the corner to hold on for a draw. And my language screamed at Yates and Alanga, what are you doing? Get it in the box, we can go and win this. So I think there's been a massive shift in our mentality from hold on to the point, hold on to the one goal lead.
00:18:14
Marley
see it over the line so we can get more from this game if we go for it.
00:18:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I mean, that's really good to see as we sort of joked at the start. um Man United are maybe not the elite team that City or or Liverpool are. So we didn't need to play that ultra super defensive lineup if we were at that confident that United were there for the taking and that even though we're 3-2 up, we would rather get a fourth than hold on.
00:18:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
So it's really, really is positive to see that we we had that attitude.
00:18:44
Marley
yeah and um sorry i was just gonna say i really like what we're doing at the minute as well with starting with a four back going to a five back in like the 60th 70th minute when we've got something to hold on to because i think rather than starting with a five back or going to a five back too early nuno has found the perfect player to bring on in merato he's found the perfect balance of when to switch it up when to not switch it up i think that is a very big part of where we're
00:18:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
So what we'll
00:19:10
Marley
going this season in terms of how we we're doing is our game management and how we've really learned how to change it up and how to hold on to a lead, a fragile lead.
00:19:18
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think it's certainly interesting with Marato. I mean, of course he's came from Ben Fica, a Brazilian, Brazilian guy. Um, until he's got Nuno in the perfect coach for him. No doubt explaining to him in, in Portuguese after each game, why you're not starting, but why you're also such an important part, part of the team. Still, as I said on our preview, what when we chatted last week, I would have started Marato because I think he's one of our, he'd be saying who's, who's the best 11 forest players. And maybe he's in our best 11.
00:19:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
purely love of players ahead of Elanga Rojata, but it seems that he is happy to accept his role at the moment as a vital Khaganar machine coming in to make it a five at the back. And I'm sure when his first start comes, um, so whether it starts in a, in a bag five or whether Murillo or Milenkovic get rested over one of the Christmas periods, I'm sure we won't notice any drop down in quality from that first choice too.
00:20:13
Marley
Yeah. And ah I think there's been great communication with from Nuno to the players as well, but they all have a job. They all have a role in the team and they all know it. They understand it. They're happy with it because they didn't think we won player at the minute, who's unhappy with their role at the team. I think they all know they've got impact subs. You've got players who'll come off a bench to help us hold onto leads. You've got your starters. They all, they're all aware of what they are and they all seem happy with it. Like very happy with it. I don't think, I think what someone said about Jota when he was a regular sub.
00:20:44
Marley
was, it sums up the squad right now perfectly, says he's never sulked. He knows his role in

Recruitment Strategy and Team Environment

00:20:49
Marley
the team and he's more than happy to play by it. He doesn't just
00:20:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's definitely very important to see why would you have to assume that the recruitment team consider that as part of their recruitment strategy, that they must have also done their background research on the player, then a bit about their private lives as well, just to make sure that um yeah they are going to be the players that if Nuno said to Russ Wilson, the chief football officer, George Sirianos, the recruitment consultant, I want wingers who are happy being on the bench, then that would have been part of the research into Sosa and Justice Hilda. Are these two happy to be on the bench? Are they comfortable working their way into the team rather than demanding an instant spot? Which is I think is really important. Both of them come from unfashionable clubs. It's not as if they were choosing between Forest and Man City, where they're moving in the summer. So it is good that they're happy to play that that role in the team.
00:21:44
Marley
Yeah, and we've got a silver, I think. Tiago Silver, a former Forest midfielder, had spoken to him from, because he plate was his teammate, had spoken to him when the offer came in, telling him a bit about the club and I think Josh actually said that Tiago told him to go to Forest and told him how good of a club it was and how he loved it here and was essentially trying to say, go, go to Forest, go, go, go, go, go.
00:22:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm hmm.
00:22:09
Marley
So it, it feels like he came to the club knowing that there was, it was a positive club. There was a positive feeling around it. The fans were good. So we kind of came in a, in a positive mindset, so to say.
00:22:21
Marley
um It's always good that rather than a player coming in a neutral mindset, they've come in a positive mindset. They're ready for whatever comes their way. They're just happy to be at the club. And I think. turning back the clock a bit, a very, very good pointer for that was a Langer.
00:22:36
Marley
Cause his first day at the club video came out and you saw him just gassed and excited to be joining Nottingham forest. So they went into a change. He was like, Oh, and the fans and the fans and that's the only thing before, before kickoff is this.
00:22:48
Marley
And then it's like Monica, Monica, oh my days, man.
00:22:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's as loud as he'd ever heard a stadium, I think he said, yeah.
00:22:53
Marley
It was like, you could just see pure excitement enjoying his eye in his
00:22:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
Which brings us...
00:22:58
Marley
Reactions that join in the club and you just knew from that moment on like he's he's happy to be here He's not even laced the boot yet Like there's gonna be no issues keeping him happy
00:23:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think that's said definitely interesting that we say that using Tiago Silva as the example. um So in Tiago Silva hearing head that one season of forest, the 1920 Lemushi season, then he left forest for Olympia Arcos at the time where Olympia Arcos was the step up from forest in the, in the Maranacchus multi-club group as it is now, it was just forest in Olympia Arcos back then. So we got the Olympia Arcos castoffs and our star players went to Olympia Arcos, but now it's completely the other way around. I don't think any of our star players could be now tempted by Olympia Arcos has become a useful
00:23:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
home for players like Julien Bianconi or Omar Richards to to regain their fitness.
00:23:45
Marley
Definitely. I remember there was uproar at the club once when Moronaki decided to move Hillel Sudani across to Olympiacos.
00:23:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah yeah there so far far we've kind of i think he look bright and that's all together even in dema o'neill he he had a decent running the team um i think maybe maybe he was silent before i'm thinking of kar him anif farad is the guy who played under oneill ah hi also sodany i think was one or two years before that even to us, I don't know, had so so many players during during that era, they all, all bent into one. So maybe we need to do another Wild Card Wednesday on who was Hillel Sudani. And we'll have to test each other on random players from the foul as early Maranakis era and see how many we can actually remember. Um, so we'll have a player short, another short advert and for the last few minutes of the episode, Marley, you can tell us about the difference in the way day experiences at the Etihad and Old Trafford.

So Marley, Man United away was of course but your best away day of the two because it was a far better match. But how did the general day outs compare?
00:24:52
Marley
uh for general day outs pre-match was hard to really compare because one was a train journey in got there six hours before kickoff and spent the day in Manchester the other was a coach journey in when it was literally on the coach

Comparing Away Day Experiences

up to the up to a place called Stadium Bridge have a couple of pints there they go to Old Trafford then straight back um but the actual game experience itself um Man United and uh City have Yeti Head and Old Trafford completely different stadiums. One's really nice, modern, currently undergoing a bit of work at the far side, and Man United is old-fashioned, classic, traditional, ah very nice still. I do think I actually prefer Old Trafford personally, especially the iconism of a brick drop around the side of the pitch. And what I also noticed is that United have a much smaller away end, which is better for atmosphere in the away end as well because

because we're all packed into one quarter rather than across three tiers. We can all hear what each other are singing.

right

It's easy to get an atmosphere going. But an unpopular opinion, I'm going to say, and something that I don't think United fans are like. City fans might like it. And it'll be interesting to see if all the football fans agree.

I heard more singing from the home end at the Etihad than I did at Old Trafford. And that includes when the scores were level.

Yeah, that's interesting. I mean, stereotypically, I don't know, I would possibly say in just from stereotypical that City fans would be louder and they have famous things like the Posnan that gets those people up and going. Although from the Premier League home games I've been to, I would actually say that Man United are one of the best away fans at City Ground, certainly better than Liverpool. I wasn't at the City Games, but better than Liverpool, better than Arsenal even. so It's an interesting that you say that City fans were louder even when the score was level, maybe it's due to the general mood at the clubs, even after form City is perhaps still a happier place to be than many United in their current form.

yeah um on the other hand i like that city have got a proper pre-match anthem whereas man united don't but i don't like city playing we've got guadiola over the tanois for a couple of reasons the first one being i don't think having a normal chant being played over the tanois as an anthem is whatever a celebration song is a good idea in the first place especially not when a different club uses that as a pretty much anthem iconically in Crystal Palace glad all over. I just think it's kind of trying to leech off Palace, change up the lyrics a bit. I just don't think it works.

Yeah, and I saw that on um on on the TV at full time. On Wednesday, I did also find it weird that they were playing a chant that was almost like trying too hard. I mean, do you do like we do with Mothkin Tire? Play the original song, and if the fans chant over it, great, but certainly don't play a studio recording of a chant that certainly just doesn't sound does it sound great.
00:27:58
Marley
Yeah, especially not when another club has made that chant iconic to them.
