Speaker: What's your motivation and message to your audience?
Speaker: Everyone watching right now, Miko, start now with Miko.
Speaker: It's hard to think.
Speaker: World peace!
Speaker: Okay, so this is what I always told me about my mentor in relation with podcasting.
Speaker: He told me, just remember the 3M.
Speaker: Sabi ko, what is 3M?
Speaker: Hindi naman manok or adobo manok.
Speaker: Sabi niya, remember your 3M.
Speaker: The first M, your message.
Speaker: So who is the people?
Speaker: Yung inahanap pong people.
Speaker: So ano yung message mo para sa kanila?
Speaker: And then you find the market.
Speaker: So which is, ano yung mabibigay mo sa kanila?
Speaker: to solve the problem, the pain of your audience.
Speaker: So you find your own market.
Speaker: You find your niche, your message.
Speaker: And the third one is the media.
Speaker: So which means, where do you see your target market, your audience, ito ba sa TikTok, ito ba sa podcasting, ito ba sa YouTube.
Speaker: So find the good target market, media.
Speaker: Doon mo sila puntahan.
Speaker: Yun ang lagi sa akin sinasabi na nag-motivate sa akin na find yung 3M.
Speaker: Kasi pa is yung get your just one true fan na that tell you stay and refer.
Speaker: Just one true fan na pay, stay and refer and then do it again.
Speaker: Do it again.
Speaker: do it again.
Speaker: Which means, goes to 100,000 true fans.
Speaker: Yun yung blogging sinasabi sa akin.
Speaker: Engage and educate yung audience may understand.
Speaker: Yun.
Speaker: At syempre, motivation is yung every time sa morning, pag gumagawa ka ng podcasting mo yung content mo, feel mo na nakakatulong ka sa iba by your content as well.
Speaker: Ate Eloy.
Speaker: Ako, simple lang motivation ko.
Speaker: Family lagi para sa akin.
Speaker: Family to me is everything.
Speaker: Alam niya, Nese.
Speaker: Pag malgolo yung loob ng bahay namin, ano ako?
Speaker: Hindi mo ako ma-involve.
Speaker: I cannot find my superpowers.
Speaker: And then, yung message ko sa audience is, this is also the same thing yung kanina, yung pinag-uusapan na yung sa competition.
Speaker: Sabi ni Miko, it's mas masaya ngayon kasi parang collaborative, not really siya as...
Speaker: competition, the opinion of your partner, podcast producer, podcast manager, podcaster, etc.
Speaker: You do not look at them as a competition.
Speaker: Right now, I didn't like that.
Speaker: I heard from a keynote of a brother Bo's wife's husband,
Speaker: They also gone through that specific challenge na nagtataka sila bakit Brother Bo is allowing other book author to promote yung books nila doon sa loob mismo ng fees.
Speaker: Eh, kalabang, deretso kalaban to nila Brother Bo.
Speaker: And then, sinabihan lang sila ni Brother Bo because that's not how we do business.
Speaker: How we do business now is not because we wanted to take down the competition but because we wanted to
Speaker: pull it up and look at it as a co-opetition.
Speaker: So, cooperation and competition, pinag-combine nila.
Speaker: Kasi, mas magandang magawa ng business na hindi ka magpapababa ng ibang tao para tumaas yung ano mo, yung kagandahan ng servisyo mo.
Speaker: So, yun ang aking message sa audience.
Speaker: Take it away, Kai!
Speaker: Okay, so motivation, of course, hindi mo mga wala.
Speaker: Yan syempre yung family, diba?
Speaker: Kasi ako, personally, one of my reasons talaga kung bakit pinush ko na mag-work at home is
Speaker: Kasi before, diba, parang minomotivate ako, tinatanong ako, wala ka bang plans na mag-abroad?
Speaker: Kasi yung ate ko, nag-abroad siya.
Speaker: Actually ngayon, nasa abroad din siya.
Speaker: Pero it's a long story.
Speaker: Pero ayun nga, I'm not against going abroad.
Speaker: Pero if you can build your own
Speaker: If you have a family, why not?
Speaker: For example, these instances of the pandemic, I don't want to be a member because they are with us.
Speaker: You don't think what's going on.
Speaker: I have to still provide, but I'm not a bad person because they are not with us.
Speaker: Another thing is, one of my goals for Podcast Warriors, and of course, the community of podcasting is for us to build an empire of world-class service providers.
Speaker: Because there are still, in other countries, there are still a stigma of Filipino.
Speaker: You just need to have a great rate.
Speaker: There are those things.
Speaker: But that's one of the things that I'm also going to be the motivation.
Speaker: That's why I'm doing what I do.
Speaker: Because, you know, we're world-class.
Speaker: That's it, right?
Speaker: And another thing about that message, what is that?
Speaker: At your audience.
Speaker: Okay, to your audience.
Speaker: Okay, whatever it is that you think you like to do that, you know, is aligned to your goals and to your values, ganyan, gawin mo lang siya.
Speaker: Kasi, hindi ka makakakuha ng sagot if something is suitable for you, if you keep on thinking about it kung okay siya or hindi.
Speaker: Ang results...
Speaker: You need to analyze, not your thoughts.
Speaker: Because when you analyze your thoughts, it's not going to happen.
Speaker: So keep on doing what you do.
Speaker: And analyze if it's something that you are happy doing.
Speaker: If your results are okay.
Speaker: Plus, take care of yourselves.
Speaker: Take care of yourselves.
Speaker: I know that freelancers are really hard working because
Speaker: We want to really build our own business and to acquire more clients.
Speaker: Lalo sa panahon ngayon, we have to remember na kailangan natin iprotect yung sarili natin.
Speaker: Kasi kahit na gano'ng kadaming clients meron tayo, pag tinamaan talaga tayo ng pag-test ng life, we don't want ourselves or our bodies to give up on us.
Speaker: We want them to be our friends, not our enemies.
Speaker: So, yun.
Speaker: And magkatawag ba ako?
Speaker: C, RA.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Motivation.
Speaker: Same din, family din.
Speaker: Since I started working from home full time,
Speaker: I can look after my daughter.
Speaker: So that was 2018, I think.
Speaker: So it was just a continue.
Speaker: But maybe find something that align with values.
Speaker: That's right.
Speaker: Because if, for example, you choose to be a podcast VA, but then you don't want to listen to a podcast,
Speaker: Like, you're burning out, you're editing a show.
Speaker: So, the motivation is money.
Speaker: Maybe it's not a long time for your journey.
Speaker: Because podcasting is more than monetary.
Speaker: I was able to say earlier, you learn.
Speaker: And maybe you'll be able to take care of your business.
Speaker: I'm not a podcaster because I'm a lot of people in their show.
Speaker: So, provide quality and provide solution for your clients.
Speaker: And maybe as a podcaster, I'm not a podcaster because I have a lot of people in life.
Speaker: So, as a podcaster, maybe listen to your audience.
Speaker: And maybe survey or survey on email list because that's what I'm doing with clients.
Speaker: Who really surveyed their audience or subscribers.
Speaker: What is the topic they want to hear so that they have sustainability of the show.
Speaker: So that they continue to listen to their listeners.
Speaker: And they will be more mistaken to share your episodes on their network.
Speaker: That's it.
Speaker: I hope that's right to answer that.
Speaker: You know, Mice?
Speaker: Oh my God, hirap na hirap akong sunday yung mga sagot nyo.
Speaker: Hirap na guli.
Speaker: Copy-paste na lang kaya ako.
Speaker: Ayan, copy-paste na lang.
Speaker: Pero hirap talaga, promise.
Speaker: Parang lahat ng sinabi niya, yun din yung motivation.
Speaker: At the same time, yung message ko dun sa mga nandito ngayon.
Speaker: But...
Speaker: If there's one thing, especially nasa Podcast VA Philippines tayo and yung mga members natin are also aspiring podcast producers, siguro ang message ko sa kanila is start with the end goal in mind.
Speaker: So if you're someone who wants to start to be in this business ng podcast production, start ka muna dun sa one step na dapat mong gawin...
Speaker: to move your service forward.
Speaker: Because if you think about it right now, that you have money, that you have a team that you will only get overwhelmed and maybe later you will get the analysis paralysis.
Speaker: Just like right now, assess if you're already there and you think about what is the next step I should do for me to move from this stage to this stage.
Speaker: What are we?
Speaker: Like baby steps so we can do more actions towards our goal.
Speaker: I hope that episode helped.
