Speaker: How do you see, how do you think podcasting in the Philippines will be after mga 3 to 5 years, 6 years?

Speaker: What do you think about podcasting?

Speaker: Do you have a future podcasting in the Philippines?

Speaker: In my opinion, yes.

Speaker: Because if I look at my Facebook group, there's a lot of Filipino podcasters in my Facebook group that are eager to make their shows.

Speaker: They're willing to ask the technical, how they're good with their podcasting.

Speaker: And of course, there's a free platform like Anchor.

Speaker: So it's easy now to

Speaker: produce a podcast, the only issue I think na siguro within 3 to 5 years mag-mariresolve yan is yung paano natin sila ma-educate the correct way to do a podcast show.

Speaker: Yung parang, yung content mo is to

Speaker: value others and benefit others.

Speaker: Alam mo yung niche na so bakit ka nag-podcast?

Speaker: Para saan ba ito?

Speaker: Ito ba para sa'yo?

Speaker: Pang sarili mo lang?

Speaker: Or yung experience mo ito bigay sa iba?

Speaker: Knowledge.

Speaker: So I think yun lang yung

Speaker: I need to know what the podcasters are in the Philippines.

Speaker: Not all, but all of them are really, they know what their mission is, what their purpose is.

Speaker: But some of them are, just like I want to produce.

Speaker: That's it.

Speaker: I don't have to do it.

Speaker: It's a pandemic.

Speaker: I'm producing.

Speaker: But to think of it, it's because it's a medium.

Speaker: So you don't know.

Speaker: may mga tao nakikinig sa'yo.

Speaker: So you don't know kung ano yung binalabos mong content, matututunan nila, uy, ganito ako dati.

Speaker: Tama yun.

Speaker: So yeah, that's yung nakikita ko.

Speaker: Mamise.

Speaker: Walang sasagot?

Speaker: Ako ulit.

Speaker: Pero I do agree.

Speaker: Si Miko medyo gigil kasi yung advocacy niya talaga is really to educate din yung mga content creators.

Speaker: And for us naman podcast producers, feeling ko, syempre, biased tayo.

Speaker: This is with high potential for support syempre.

Speaker: Kasi

Speaker: Looking back, parang four or five years ago, ako personally, I was doubting kung saan ako pupulutin eh.

Speaker: Parang saan ba papunta yung podcast production service na in-offer namin?

Speaker: Yung mga, like yung Filipino ba, ma-entice din silang matutunan yung ganitong skill?

Speaker: Well, in fact, dun naman sa years na staying in the industry, feeling ko naman parang,

Speaker: At the same time, with the content creation, marami rin ngayon na-entice na gumawa ng content using the podcast as a platform.

Speaker: Kasi parang, yun nga, brought by the pandemic, nagkaroon tayo ng mas maraming time to think about ano ba yung gusto kong message na ilabas and stuff.

Speaker: So feeling ko, syempre, bias na sagot.

Speaker: This is really getting bigger and bigger, not only for content creators, but also for mga brands.

Speaker: This is going to be a promising medium if...

Speaker: There is no censorship that happens.

Speaker: We all know here in the Philippines, we are a bit... We are a bit... We are a bit... We are a bit... We are a bit... We are a bit... We are a bit...

Speaker: Ano nyo yan, tanggalin nyo yan kasi nakakasama para dito sa taong to.

Speaker: So if set aside that ganong mindset, this is going to be a promising medium.

Speaker: Kasi alam mo, I even consider that kung ikaw you have a child.

Speaker: I think a lot of the Filipino parents parang gustong-gustong nila maging YouTuber mga anak nila eh, diba?

Speaker: Pero ako, I strongly suggest na you start...

Speaker: doing the podcast with your kid because medyo malayo sa bashing.

Speaker: For YouTube kasi, for video, live, yung mga live stream, ang dami talaga.

Speaker: And then pag hindi equip yung anak nyo, maano siya eh, matatabo, magiging jaded siya, lalaki siyang, ganito pala sa mundong to.

Speaker: Pero I feel like yung podcasting, if this is not regulated, not going to be censored with any other people na gusto makialam sa ganitong medium,

Speaker: It will be very promising and I suggest for parents to give it a try.

Speaker: If you really wanted your children to be content creators.

Speaker: Ay, ikaw, ano?

Speaker: Personal opinion ka lang, guys, hindi ko type yung way nila ng pagpa-podcast kasi more of me, me, me.

Speaker: Alam niyo yun na yes, you need to share your story but datisipin mo din ano yung motivation mo behind sharing your story and what can your listeners get from you.

Speaker: Hindi lang yung magsasalita ka lang in front of the mic para sabihin yung story mo but what will they get?

Speaker: So, yun.

Speaker: Ikaw naman, Kai.

Speaker: Ayan.

Speaker: So, sure, wala na akong tatawagin mamaya.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Ayan.

Speaker: So, ano.

Speaker: Actually, super agree ako dun sa... And I can see na talagang magbo-boom yung podcast.

Speaker: Pero the question is, ano?

Speaker: The question is, how long are you going to sustain your podcast?

Speaker: Kasi ang daling mag-start, diba?

Speaker: I always say this, ha...

Speaker: It's underpriced platform.

Speaker: Diba?

Speaker: Record mo lang, publish.

Speaker: Like Nico said, may mga platforms dyan, podcast hosting na free, na you can publish it anytime you want.

Speaker: Diba?

Speaker: Pero the question is yun nga yung pod fade.

Speaker: Kasi lahat naman tayo, we all know as service providers.

Speaker: Diba?

Speaker: We create content.

Speaker: Ano man gagawin natin?

Speaker: Diba?

Speaker: Lalo na pagka,

Speaker: So, I agree with Miko yung education about podcasting.

Speaker: But, there are celebrities now that are also who are podcasting.

Speaker: For example, Will Dasovich is who is podcasting.

Speaker: There are a lot of YouTubers right now who are podcasting.

Speaker: Even I have watched that they are thinking of doing a podcast because people are requesting for them to create a podcast.

Speaker: So I guess after YouTube, though it's not that big of YouTube, it's next to August.

Speaker: Because there are YouTubers who create awareness for podcasting.

Speaker: That's it.

Speaker: for brand awareness, ganyan.

Speaker: Iba't iba silang categories.

Speaker: And nakakatawa yung mga contents nila.

Speaker: So, whether it's for business or anything, I can see na mamamaksimize siya ng mga Filipinos in the next coming years.

Speaker: Ayon.
