Speaker: Okay, you said something which is good that we should discuss.
Speaker: The search of Filipino tech news is you.
Speaker: That's search engine optimization.
Speaker: Do you optimize your podcast titles?
Speaker: Do you do any of that?
Speaker: Or do you study SEO?
Speaker: I'm familiar with SEO because of my freelancing jobs.
Speaker: Do you do anything?
Speaker: Magic?
Speaker: SEO?
Speaker: Ito na nga.
Speaker: Exactly.
Speaker: Noong nag-start ako, noong nag-start ako mag-podcast, kung mapapansin mo, yung buong season one, iba't iba yung formatting ng title.
Speaker: Kasi gusto ko nga iba.
Speaker: Katulad nung ano, nung first episode, ang title lang niya, The Pilot.
Speaker: What's in it?
Speaker: Diba?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: The Pilot.
Speaker: The second episode, the second occurrence.
Speaker: What's there in the second occurrence?
Speaker: The third episode, 3MB.
Speaker: I want everything tech-related.
Speaker: I want different things.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Hindi siya nag-work.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Kasi, pag sinarch mo, alam mo yung 3MB?
Speaker: Hindi siya searchable.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: 3MB, di ba?
Speaker: Yun yung mga usual na, ano, yun yung usual na lalabas.
Speaker: Pag sinarch mo yung The Pilot, probably may movie.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: May novel.
Speaker: May series.
Speaker: Hindi yung episode ko, di ba?
Speaker: So,
Speaker: I realized that it's late.
Speaker: So I think I was on episode 15 when I started introducing the topics in the title or incorporating the topics in the title.
Speaker: So say for example, I talked about Bitcoin.
Speaker: Of course, I will put Bitcoin or I discussed NFT or non-fungible token.
Speaker: I will put NFT in the title.
Speaker: Which is before, hindi ko siya ginagawa.
Speaker: I think, let's check ha.
Speaker: Hindi ako alay.
Speaker: Let's check Spotify.
Speaker: Mm-hmm.
Speaker: Oh, great.
Speaker: Let's see my episodes.
Speaker: Starting from the pilot, the second occurrence, 3MB, the fourth wall, the fifth element, the sixth sense, seventh grade, eighth, ninth gen, X, eleventh hour, one, two punch.
Speaker: You know, totally no one knows.
Speaker: No one knows in the episode.
Speaker: So, I realized that it doesn't work so I better start changing the title.
Speaker: So, it started episode 17.
Speaker: I incorporated some topics in the title.
Speaker: Because when you search about it, like episode 17,
Speaker: I talked about... Yung Apple event at that time, last year.
Speaker: I think that was September.
Speaker: So, eventually, pag may nag-search ng Apple event, tala ba si episode?
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Yun.
Speaker: The following week, yung episode ko...
Speaker: Ano pa rin eh, meron pa rin title na about 17, pero kadugtong na dun yung mga topics.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So, SEO.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: SEO, yes.
Speaker: I don't know if nagbago na to, but ang sabi is the only place na optimized ang SEO sa podcast natin is yung ating title daw.
Speaker: Correct.
Speaker: It's very important that we think of SEO.
Speaker: that the new episode you have to put in the title, you'll think about what keywords are going to use so that it will appear.
