AVC Studio's Journey and Evolution
00:01:24
Speaker
Can you tell us about your tag team or your agency?
00:01:27
Speaker
Is that AC Studio or AVC Studio?
00:01:30
Speaker
How did that start?
00:01:31
Speaker
How did that start?
00:01:32
Speaker
Actually, we cannot remember the exact year it started because it was like,
00:01:40
Speaker
One day, we still have ABC.
00:01:43
Speaker
We still have business.
00:01:45
Speaker
We just didn't have the Lions.
00:01:48
Speaker
We started really delegating a lot in 2013-2014.
00:01:51
Speaker
But it's not official business.
00:01:55
Speaker
You know, it's just the same thing.
00:01:57
Speaker
It's just the same thing.
00:01:59
Speaker
But then we really kind of like make it full time.
00:02:03
Speaker
It was last year, 2020, when the COVID hit.
00:02:06
Speaker
As you know, when COVID hit, marami yung nawalan ng trabaho.
00:02:10
Speaker
And one of the things that we wanted to work out was that to help other people naman who were being laid off on their jobs, especially yung mga teachers.
00:02:19
Speaker
And then may isa kaming kasama na she got COVID.
00:02:22
Speaker
So those are the things that kind of like,
00:02:25
Speaker
push us to make it real now.
AVC Studio's Services and Client Expansion
00:02:28
Speaker
So, AVC was found, like, the real thing that it was really being built was actually last year, 2020.
00:02:36
Speaker
But we have been existing for like eight years already, but we just don't know that we existed.
00:02:41
Speaker
You're just surprised.
00:02:44
Speaker
It was COVID who kind of like pushed us.
00:02:48
Speaker
ABC is more like a digital marketing company.
00:02:53
Speaker
We don't just provide podcasting news like the launching of the podcast.
00:02:57
Speaker
Everything you can think about podcasting from promotion to production to social media to graphics to video to audio.
00:03:06
Speaker
ABC was the only one because we were accepting local clients.
00:03:10
Speaker
We were a little bit of a day and then we are...
00:03:13
Speaker
We are working together that is kind of local because right now we are more on to international clients.
Team Growth and Personal Challenges
00:03:20
Speaker
If you don't mind me asking, how many are you in the team now?
00:03:24
Speaker
I think we are around eight.
00:03:26
Speaker
Yeah, I think we're around 8, but we are looking forward to grow more.
00:03:35
Speaker
And what's good in the agency's work is you're able to help others.
00:03:42
Speaker
So actually, that's one of my prayers too, to be able to start one.
00:03:47
Speaker
But it's not easy to do that when you are working full-time.
00:03:53
Speaker
Actually, my husband, three years ago, when I was pregnant with my third child, he actually gave up his full-time job to kind of like push this through.
00:04:05
Speaker
That is why we were able to push through the ABC agency too.
00:04:09
Speaker
It's because it was my husband who actually gave up his job, his full-time job.
00:04:16
Speaker
I was just that, like full-time.
00:04:19
Speaker
Like a full-time mother, full-time work, full-time everything.
00:04:26
Speaker
But the husband, he was also full-time in a corporate job.
00:04:31
Speaker
And he spends his late evenings with editing.
Personal Sacrifices in Building the Agency
00:04:36
Speaker
Actually, there was a point that we almost didn't see or see, but it was like a little bit.
00:04:43
Speaker
Because when you're a corporate, 6pm, you're in a home and you just eat it.
00:04:50
Speaker
And then, you're in a sleep and you're in a job.
00:04:54
Speaker
Because when you're a mother, you work at night.
00:04:57
Speaker
It's because of the time zone also.
00:04:59
Speaker
Because if you work in the morning, you don't have clients.
00:05:06
Speaker
So, you're working on the morning so I'll get to the morning.
00:05:10
Speaker
So, when I sleep around 4am in the morning, she's still... She's still a little bit.
00:05:15
Speaker
Yes, she's still a little bit.
00:05:17
Speaker
Because she's still a little bit.
00:05:19
Speaker
The cycle kind of like continue like that.
00:05:21
Speaker
There are times when it's super stressful.
00:05:24
Speaker
Like, you know, both of you are having responsibilities at work.
00:05:28
Speaker
And, you know, we can't admit that when we are working, even online, there's just so much...
00:05:35
Speaker
stress and sometimes when we kind of like, we leave it in the house, it's a lot of games.
