Acknowledging Team Support

00:01:57
Speaker
off Let's get into the episode. Shouts out to Simplified Impact because today I'm talking about all the support and all the consistency of my team at Simplified Impact has helped me realize in this moment.
00:02:13
Speaker
I constantly film and record podcast episodes, interviews like this one here, right? Prior to them coming out. So um I'm a little bit ahead of the curve, a few weeks ahead. So this episode will probably come out when it comes out.

Journey of Growing YouTube Subscribers

00:02:30
Speaker
But anyway, so prior this week, I had my YouTube subscribers like increase like tremendously in such a beautiful way. And I've been putting out content for like a year with Simplify Impact.
00:02:43
Speaker
And what I discovered was consistency builds confidence. So just give you a backstory. So April or maybe February or March of 2024, I signed on and simplified impact. And my goal was to get 10,000 subscribers, right? By the end of the year and to record a podcast episode every week for the year.
00:03:08
Speaker
So that's like 52 episodes, right? yeah, You know, I was moving, I was consistent. And then I had a trip to go to Peru. So it kind of like pushed me back. I kind of missed some content last year, but it's fine.
00:03:20
Speaker
So we had to repurpose content and, you know, film to catch up because what I'm learning from YouTube, the algorithm change. Right. And when you're not as consistent, it'll push you back.
00:03:32
Speaker
So anyway, I got back on track. I got consistent. And then I said, you know what? What's 10% of 10,000? I said, 10% of 10,000 is a thousand. My goal to be a thousand subscribers. Right.
00:03:44
Speaker
And I believe when I signed on with them, I had maybe like 524, 534. Like that was how many subscribe. i didn't have no more than for sure So then end of 2024 hits and I think the total subscribers I had was 753. Now to some of you, you'd be like, oh, maybe that's not a lot of subscribers, but like, I'm break it down to you in a minute.
00:04:08
Speaker
It is a lot, right? But anyway, so in the 2024, I got 753 subscribers. I didn't hit my goal, but it's cool. You know, I stay focused. I didn't stop filming content, get interviews off. And, you know, and before each interview, I'm always praying. I'm praying to higher up. I'm praying to God who created a God show up for me, be in this podcast episode, be in this interview, assist me, inspire, impact, motivate, elevate.
00:04:34
Speaker
through my consciousness, through my voice to impact and touch the people in such a authentic way where they feel what they need. They need to hear what they need to hear. Right. So time goes on. and So go back earlier this week.
00:04:47
Speaker
I had an episode come out about black wealth and I had a guy named Cliff Goins the fourth on and, you know, we had a beautiful interview and from each interview, there's a long form, which is interviewed and there's YouTube shorts.
00:05:01
Speaker
So I was waking up one morning and I was like, man, someone's commented on a post. It was about my money trauma post. I'm like, okay, cool. And I looked at the post, the short, it was a YouTube short, 51 seconds.
00:05:12
Speaker
I think it had like 22 maybe a thousand views. Like that was probably like my highest YouTube short ever. Like, wow, thousand views. That's a lot. So um I didn't think nothing of it. Like it's views.
00:05:24
Speaker
Then I go back and I look again, someone else commented on the same post. I'm like, oh, okay. And on his post, I'm talking about my money story, like where my money story started in my life. And it was 16 when I did this thing, paid the phone bill, but go on my YouTube and listen and watch.
00:05:39
Speaker
So then I go back. Now I'm at like 3,800 views. I'm like, OK, cool. Like, you know, few hours go by. I got more comments on my YouTube and my email because YouTube sends you the email and people comment.
00:05:52
Speaker
all right, cool. So I go back now. I'm at like 8000 views. I'm like, this is interesting. Like, OK, but then my subscribers and I had 753. But I think at that time that video came out because this is 2025 April. Right. I had 825 subscribers. Right.
00:06:08
Speaker
Twenty five people subscribe to my YouTube channel. And when I started seeing that traction on a YouTube short, i was like, oh, my subscribers just went to 855. Oh, now they're at 905. I'm like, oh, this is pretty interesting.
00:06:20
Speaker
Then I got more Then like, damn, I'm at 12,000 views. Now I'm like, damn, I got 955 subscribers. This is all in like

Consistent Effort in Pursuing Dreams

00:06:27
Speaker
a day or two. And my goal for last month, which was April, was 1,000 subscribers, right?
00:06:33
Speaker
This month it'll be 1,500. So I didn't think nothing of Now it's at 17,000 views. I'm like, Jesus. Next thing you know, look up is 22000 views on his YouTube short.
00:06:46
Speaker
It's 51 seconds. And I look at my subscriber count and I got a thousand subscribers to people who don't know on YouTube. I believe maybe they changed it. But from my understanding, when you get a thousand subscribers, you can start monetizing your content.
00:07:01
Speaker
Right. Which is every creator want that. But it's not about the views, not about the money, none of that. The topic of today's discussion is consistency builds confidence.
00:07:15
Speaker
Your confidence will come when you're consistent. So there were moments in my consistency of constantly putting out content for year. Look, it took 500 videos to get a thousand subscribers.
00:07:30
Speaker
And maybe with it to simplify impact, I probably probably had like maybe 200 videos already, or maybe not even that, maybe say 150 videos. It took 350 videos from when I started with them to get a thousand. But overall in all my YouTube account, it took me 500 videos To get a thousand subscribers, all because of a YouTube short that went viral.
00:07:55
Speaker
And I was talking about money and my money story. So I'm here to tell you this story because it's so important because the things we're consistent in, your soul is not benefiting from unless it's your family.
00:08:09
Speaker
Right. So I tell people all the time, you're consistent at a job because you can see the paycheck that you're going to receive. You're consistent with your child because you have to take care of your child, which is great.
00:08:22
Speaker
How about we get consistent about our dreams? We get consistent about our passions. We get consistent around our artistry and our creativity because that's going to bring the money, the fortune, opportunity, the fulfillment.
00:08:39
Speaker
It's all about fulfillment because there's tons of people who make boatload of money and they're not happy. They're not fulfilled because they're not in alignment of their soul's assignment, their creativity, their artistry, their passion, whatever you want to call it.
00:08:54
Speaker
And most people won't start on a project that they are passionate about because there's no money involved or they don't think they can make the money. But when I started to work with Simplify Impact and the CEO, the owner, Anna said, look, it's going to take us about two to three years.
00:09:11
Speaker
to get your YouTube right. I'm like, cool. That's fine. Like, I'm playing a long game. I'm not playing a short game. And I think social media has allowed us to not only play the short term game, take shortcuts, but look for the microwave success without putting in the work.
00:09:31
Speaker
and being consistent. So with my consistency of constantly putting out YouTube clips, YouTube shorts, Instagram, whatever, just consistency.
00:09:43
Speaker
When I got that video and I saw that video do numbers and I was packed up to like 200 to almost 300 subscribers in like two or three days, that gave me confidence that everything that I've been putting out over the last year has caught up.
00:09:57
Speaker
And the benefit of it is now Now that I have more subscribers and I got a thousand, I'm going even more. I have all this content that they can see. It's not like I got one viral video and that's it.
00:10:10
Speaker
That's the only video on my page. No, I have 500 videos. So it took me 500 videos for me to get a thousand subscribers. So who do you think that you're going to want A better life, more money, a better relationship, calling your partner, manifest your dreams and you're not being consistent.
00:10:30
Speaker
You don't have no output. Don't work like that. Life does not work. You have to put in the work and you must be consistent. McDonald's is a billion, three billion, five billion, i don't know, company a year.
00:10:46
Speaker
And they're constantly got commercials going out every year, every season, every week. They're constantly promoting. Tony Robbins is one of my favorite gurus that I've studied most of my life. He's 65, 64 years old.
00:10:59
Speaker
He's constantly in front of the camera talking about his mastery schools or his seminars. It's content. Kav Sinet, one of the biggest YouTube streamers.
00:11:12
Speaker
He's big because you constantly see him putting out content. He's consistent. And this is a little bit relatable to creation over consumption. When I was talking about on a previous podcast, we got to create, we got to create, we got to create, we got to stop consuming and create.
00:11:29
Speaker
It's good to create, but if you're not going to be consistent in creating content, You're wasting energy and you're wasting time. If you're at home watching this, if you're in a car listening to this, I need you to find out what your passion is and I need you to be consistent.
00:11:44
Speaker
I need you to have certainty in it. I need you to believe

Overcoming Fear of Judgment

00:11:47
Speaker
in it and I need you not To focus on outcome. Only focus on the income. The income is not the money. The income is the investment into yourself, which is your creativity, your artistry and the passion, the things you love to do without the money.
00:12:07
Speaker
Because moving forward, AI is taking over so many things. And we have to build our soft skills. We have to start a brand. We have to create something from our heart, from our soul.
00:12:18
Speaker
It's miracle season that came through me. Now that's out in the world. Spiritual fitness podcast came to me. Now and I'm embodying it and I'm living it. And now you're listening to it. And here we are. spiritual fitness.
00:12:30
Speaker
So what's going to be your thing? Not even that it's going to get you recognized, but you know, you want to do, but you're so afraid because you don't want to be judged. You don't got subscribers. You don't have a follow. It's somebody right now listening and watching probably got like 178 followers right on their Instagram, probably 400 on a tick tock.
00:12:49
Speaker
And they probably got eight videos up and they know they're good at doing something, whether it's cooking, doing hair, working out, photographer, chef, but they're afraid because of judgment. They're afraid of being seen because they don't want to seem like they're not doing enough because they don't have the followers. They don't have the likes. They don't have the subscribers. Look, I didn't either.
00:13:10
Speaker
And guess what? I'm not going to stop putting out content. So guess what this is right here? Content. And you're going to see this scene. So the intention and the takeaway that I want you to take away from today is when you're consistent, you build confidence.
00:13:27
Speaker
Think about if you're dating someone. If you go on one date. Every so often, that person is not going want to be with you. You're not giving that person confidence that you like them. But if that person said, I want to take you out again and and again and again. Oh, my God.
00:13:41
Speaker
Confidence builds that synergy of that relationship. So people, the number one thing in all of life, you have to be consistent. You want to win, you got to be consistent. And I think people got this idea of manifesting their dreams or getting to their dreams and then that's it.
00:13:58
Speaker
And that's why when people do manifest the things they want, they can't keep it because they only manifest it for that moment and not a lifetime. No, this is a lifestyle. My podcast is my life. Spiritual fitness is who I am. Miracle season is what I am.
00:14:12
Speaker
It's who I am. So I'm not waiting for a big moment for me to stop and be like, I did it. No, it's going to be, this is my life. I'm giving you my lifestyle, how I think, how I feel, what's going on in my world.
00:14:23
Speaker
One of my last episodes just recorded that went up two days ago was about sadness and resurrection and leaving the old me behind to get a new me and walk into this higher version of myself without tapping back into this old paradigm that doesn't serve me anymore.
00:14:39
Speaker
Right. The people content is king. You need to be consistent. That's the key where you can have content, but if you're not consistent, You're not going to build confidence and guess the confidence that you're going to need to build, not your confidence.
00:14:54
Speaker
I don't want you to be consistent to build your confidence. Yes, I do. ah do. I want you to be consistent so you can build the audience confidence, because when you give your audience confidence in who you are, they're going to have more confident to buy a program, more confident to listen to the entire episode.
00:15:12
Speaker
more confidence to come to your seminar and show up for you because you're pouring into them consistently. We don't care about how much you know until we know how much you care. It ain't what you do.
00:15:25
Speaker
It's not what you have. It's who you are. So if you consistently show up like your authentic self and you be yourself and people can see it and they can feel it and they know it, they're going want to pay you.
00:15:37
Speaker
They're going to want to promote you. They're going to want to be around you. They want to be in your energy because you're consistent. You're confident and you give them confidence. That's how it works.
00:15:48
Speaker
So, yeah, that one video went viral. It's probably at 26,000 views right now. Eleven hundred likes. Right. And when I say viral, you know, because there's people who got millions of subscribers, videos doing 800,000 views, 900,000 views. I'm like, I'm not focused on their content.
00:16:06
Speaker
That's great. I'm focused on where I'm at and where I'm going. Because only takes one video, one opportunity, one person, one interview. Your whole life would change. It took one show. I went on one TV show and changed my entire life.
00:16:18
Speaker
So who knows? Two weeks from now, I have 10,000 subscribers. I don't know. But I'm not focused on the outcome. I'm focused on the income. That's the input. That's the investment of energy of being consistent and putting out viable content so I can inspire, I can motivate, and I can change.
00:16:34
Speaker
collective consciousness to raise people frequency so they can be in the highest, most best version of themselves. So then that's how we serve the world together. Content.
00:16:45
Speaker
Consistency builds confidence through your content. Or whatever it is. You want a relationship? You want to work out, get in shape? You can't work out for four months and be I don't see no results. That's what people do.
00:16:56
Speaker
They give up too soon. Because there were moments when i'm like, I'm not getting the views I want. I'm not. Man. But back of my mind, I'm i'm coming. Oh, trust me. ho Call me Mr. Consistent.
00:17:08
Speaker
I'm going to this. You're going feel it. You're going to see it. And you're going to know it. And if you don't know it now, you will soon. Because that's always been my trajectory of my life. I'm put this work in. I'm be disciplined. I'm to do it with joy. I'm going to do it with faith.
00:17:21
Speaker
And I'm get some favor. And I'm going build your confidence. We're going build our confidence. And we're going to change our life. Because we're finding something we love. That we tap into. That we're consistent with.
00:17:33
Speaker
That's benefiting not only ourselves, but the world we serve.

Building Confidence Through Consistency

00:17:37
Speaker
So this... is why I wanted to share that story with you. So content, consistency builds confidence.
00:17:45
Speaker
So right now, wherever you are in the world, if you're watching, if for you're listening, think about where are you consistent in your life and is doing good for you? And where in your life are you not consistent?
00:18:00
Speaker
And it's hurting you. It could be going to bed on time. It could be going to the gym more often. It could be eating a better diet. It could be learning to say no.
00:18:12
Speaker
But I need you to find something that's going to fulfill your soul, be consistent. And with that consistency, you will build confidence and you will gain momentum and it will change your life.
00:18:23
Speaker
With that being said, that's all. That's it. I just wanted to drop in give you that story. And by the way, go to the YouTube. Check out the video with Cliff Gons IV. It's 51 seconds. is a YouTube short.
00:18:33
Speaker
And I was talking about my money story, how at the age of 16, I saved up my money, shoebox money, to pay a phone bill for my grandmother and it programmed me to end life. Every time I got money, I saved it. And somehow, someway, unconsciously, I would get rid of it.
