Meet Jenna Marie: Life Transition Coach

00:00:35
Speaker
It's miracle season.
00:00:39
Speaker
Spiritual Fitness, Spiritual Fitness Podcast. I'm your host, Eric Bigger. And today we have a very intimate, vulnerable, transparent conversation with my guest, Jenna Marie.
00:00:52
Speaker
She's a life transitor. She helps people transition when they're having a collapse. a stuckness, a fall, and she helps them break through. She's also a human design, I would like to say facilitator. She helps people understand her energy archetype, and she's also into astrology.
00:01:11
Speaker
What was more impressive that I'm intrigued by is her story, and we're going to get into that today. Jenna, welcome to Spiritual Fitness Podcast. How are you?
00:01:22
Speaker
Hi, Eric. I'm great. Thank you so much for having me

Embracing Life's Complexity with Compassion

00:01:26
Speaker
today. Yes. So to people who don't know, I met Jenna in Toronto through my friend Lindsay, and we had a very deep, intimate conversation about life, breakthrough, healing.
00:01:40
Speaker
And I want to read something. ah t I want people to really listen ah to this that she has in her bio. Jenna doesn't believe in having it all figured out.
00:01:51
Speaker
It's about learning to stay with yourself while you're figuring it out. She believes in holding space for complexity, honoring both your truths and leading with compassion and not shame.
00:02:03
Speaker
Everyone is in progress, even her. So can we just before we get into the story, can you

Discussion on Authenticity and Perfection

00:02:10
Speaker
unpack that? Because most of my life, I always felt like I had to figure it out.
00:02:15
Speaker
And in the times we're in right now, people are trying to figure it out and they're having a life transition and they don't know what to do. They don't have the answers. They might not have the resources to support.
00:02:29
Speaker
They probably fuck feel so disconnected. How did you get to that space of allowing that to just be what it is for the moment? I think there's this hot topic word of authenticity, but I think truly in the healing space or what I have seen and what I think can really affect people is this all or nothing mentality, right? So that we either are or or the other. We're either, you know, um happy, or we're sad, but we don't give ourselves room or space to feel both. So both and.
00:03:07
Speaker
So being able to look at the fact that I can still be in joy about a situation, but suffering from grief at the same time. um allows me to hold space where I can then, my nervous system relaxes when I'm able to say that and feel that into my body, that two truths can be the same at the same time.
00:03:30
Speaker
And then when I relax into my body, it allows me to uncover that. different solutions for what I'm thinking or or release it in total.

Jenna's Personal Growth and Authenticity

00:03:40
Speaker
So I think there's just a lot of us that are humans. We're complex, nuanced people, and we really have to hold space for for that. And I think also once you start having compassion for yourself like that, giving yourself the ability to be doing both things at once or feeling two things at once, you then have more compassion for other people because you can see it through their lens.
00:04:03
Speaker
Yeah, and I think that's the most important thing is to have compassion for yourself, to have grace and really patience. And I think a lot of us are in even autopilot, busy, busy, busy, busy trying to get everything done. And we're not slowing down.
00:04:19
Speaker
We're not pausing to relate to our nervous system, to feel into our nervous system, to understand what is my body telling me and what am I afraid to see feel or listen into that I need for my inner self, my inner child. Right.
00:04:35
Speaker
And in your life, I just want to, you know, give the audience a little context before we got on. um We talked about vulnerability. And we talked about there in your the story you've created all of experience within your mind that you don't feel as competent or maybe as confident to speak in big audience well and big groups of people.
00:05:00
Speaker
and I just want to give you the floor to kind of unpack what you think that was for you because I know there's a lot of people out there that feels the same and they just don't know how to move into that.
00:05:12
Speaker
What was your challenge or your block? And honestly, I'm un proud of you right now because you're actually taking the leap You're taking initiative and you're speaking on this podcast. So this is the healing moment for you.
00:05:23
Speaker
So I just want to bow to you and say thank you for stepping up into this new version of yourself and being vulnerable, authentic and being open, because I think that's what we need in this new earth.
00:05:34
Speaker
Thank you. Thanks, Eric. yeah um For myself, it was because for decades, I filled the role of the people pleaser, and I would keep myself silent.
00:05:45
Speaker
um I knew I had a lot of information in my head um and body, and but I shrunk myself. So it became second nature not to to speak to large, large audiences.

Overcoming Fears and Societal Pressures

00:05:57
Speaker
I feel much more comfortable one-on-one as I do with with the work that I do with people or in small groups where I can feel more secure and welcomed.
00:06:08
Speaker
So coming on this podcast, you're my very first podcast ever. So this is breaking down so many walls. It almost makes me want to cry because... And I'm going to give you an example of what happened. And I know that you're aware of this too, Eric. It's like, so last night, Eric, you know, you you send me this text asking me for my bio.
00:06:29
Speaker
And I sat there and I curated one and i put it together. I actually used the help of ChatGBT and I s sent it off. And the minute I s sent it, I had a pit my stomach.
00:06:40
Speaker
um And I knew that that is not who I am. I knew it, but I slept on it. And then this morning I woke up and I thought, you know, I could just continue on like I didn't make a mistake or that it wasn't curated.
00:06:52
Speaker
But I knew that I had to reach out to you and I messaged you and said, you know, this wasn't really truly who I am. So I rewrote the bio and sent it to you. And without your response,
00:07:04
Speaker
my my whole body relaxed. It was like a nervous system. My whole body relaxed in that moment because i knew that I sent you the bio that's authentically me.
00:07:15
Speaker
And that felt so good because it wasn't ah performative. So I'm very grateful here to be able to now use my voice and um hopefully do a lot more of it with And you don't even understand. Thank you for sharing that acknowledgement breaks through so many ah walls and boundaries that the world is trying to put on us with AI.
00:07:36
Speaker
Right. You know, I love ChatGPT. I think it's great in a lot of ways. But in the wovenness of it is AI technology robbing us of our creativity and our authenticity and our integrity.
00:07:49
Speaker
Right. And so I'm proud that you acknowledge the truth that you are in. That you removed it, you you addressed it, and now you feel more authentically in the alignment of your soul and your assignment for today's podcast.
00:08:04
Speaker
Right now, here's the thing. Some people might get it, might not. But think of it. She had a bio that she got from ChatGPT. Cool. I think we all can do that. And I think it's great. It helps in a lot of ways.
00:08:15
Speaker
So say, for instance, she did. She don't come back and rebuttal or change or shift into her own way of creating a bio. Right. That energy of chat GPT now becomes this podcast in her unconsciously.
00:08:31
Speaker
Right. Because she agreed to it. Now

Holding Space During Transitions

00:08:34
Speaker
I'm going to take it deeper. It's the same thing in life, right? When we're in relationships, when we're in partnerships, when we're in jobs, careers, right? Because, I mean, you see this all the time.
00:08:46
Speaker
I experienced yesterday with young woman, mother to wife, and she told me she's never been in love with her husband. She married him because he was a good guy. Her intuition told her not to.
00:08:58
Speaker
So again, as people, we rob ourselves of the truth that we know because of this false fear that's not even there. We're creating it because we don't want to, quote unquote, make a mistake or do the wrong thing.
00:09:13
Speaker
But the wrong thing. It's actually the right thing. And that's listening to your intuition and doing what Jenna did this morning. And she changed her bio. And I didn't know that until she said that. And I read a part of the bio. She changed.
00:09:27
Speaker
You see how that works? And that was the bio that you really felt. That bio that hit your everything when you got on, right? Yeah. ah So the authenticity of that creativity of her soul essence came through to me and stood out to me because I can relate to trying to figure it out because I didn't have any other way.
00:09:51
Speaker
You know, you made me feel like, as I know, but still others listening, that is okay that you don't know what to do, that you don't have the answer and you can't figure it out.
00:10:01
Speaker
It is oh okay because we're all in that space. Yeah. And that's what I was just going to speak about is the fact that it's and also holding compassion for ourself when we realize we didn't follow our intuition.
00:10:15
Speaker
Because oftentimes that's where the shame happens and then we spiral. Right. So I think to be very to hold space for ourselves when maybe we get married and it's and it's not in your mind.
00:10:28
Speaker
you know, what you truly want to do. But I mean, that's a much bigger picture than that. But it's about holding space for when you aren't authentically or yourself, because there's reasons why. yeah um and then sitting in that and moving forward. Yeah. Well, I want to talk,

Empowering Women through Personal Experience

00:10:44
Speaker
you know, before we get into like how you're a mentor for people that's in a transition and you use human design and astrology to help people scale and evolve and transform in their life for their authentic self.
00:10:54
Speaker
I want to talk briefly about the transition you were in to get where you are today. ah know your mom, your son is... He's nine and a half. He's nine and a half. I was close, right? So you have a son. ah you were previously married, right?
00:11:07
Speaker
Mm-hmm. Right. So, and in that process, a lot of things take place. yeah in a different space. And I just want to kind of breathe air just on a little bit of that transition for you to be this empowering woman that you are today to help others transition. Because I think relatability and vulnerability is what really, i don't even want to say the word make make you an expert, but it gives you a clear perspective of the experience that someone else might be relating to for you to step in a space to help them get through that time.
00:11:40
Speaker
So what was the transition you dealt with within your life that was overwhelming, shocking, maybe, you know, caused you things that you didn't think would happen, if you can speak on it?
00:11:52
Speaker
Yeah, absolutely. So as I mentioned before, I was ah ah people pleaser from a very young age. I was often in my head and trying to fit in. um I filled the role of good girl very well.
00:12:06
Speaker
So I never wanted to... um step out of that role. it was very uncomfortable. So I did find a partner that was not the best for me.
00:12:18
Speaker
And um at seven months pregnant, I made the the decision to leave everything behind, but leave my unsafe life behind, which involved career, home um And other things.
00:12:32
Speaker
So when I left, I had to restart and rebuild from the ground up. And that looked like navigating a court system that wasn't built to protect us.
00:12:43
Speaker
That looked like navigating a medical system also protected. um was very difficult at the time. And during all of this, I, I went through many, many, many ups and downs.
00:12:56
Speaker
And um I had my, you talk about your awakening in 2023, mine was in 2022. And it was when that everything shifted. And I started seeing things in a different way, um more clearly. And, you And but it was at my lowest moment.
00:13:15
Speaker
And so when I shifted, i started to see the people around me shift. I started to see my son shift into a more passionate, like into himself more. um So, yeah, so that's it that's my story.
00:13:31
Speaker
And

Understanding Self through Human Design and Astrology

00:13:32
Speaker
I think it's ah very imperative to know, you know, at least in my line of work, I have the privilege to work with so many moms and so many women that are wives or mothers. And there's a shadow side to being a mom, right, that I've witnessed.
00:13:44
Speaker
And I come from a space of I had a mother wound and I had judgment on my mom and I had resentment on my mom. And now today, because of you know, all the healing that's taking place in my life and me being in front of so many moms, I'm able to have way more compassion, way more grace from my mom.
00:14:02
Speaker
And we actually even have a better relationship because now I overstand what she went through 21 years old. I understand what it was like for her raising us as a single mom.
00:14:12
Speaker
I understand what it's like to just... Right. right because i'm doing some wo healing you know due to our my girlfriend so i say all that to say i think a lot of times and the in this world we don't understand or we don't know the ah impact or embrace that women deal with in his life just to have birth kids right on top of getting married and having a partner, love.
00:14:41
Speaker
And I think for you, in your experience, you went through so much to transition to who you are today, where you can hold space for others who's dealing with the same, even problems, challenges, or changes.
00:14:54
Speaker
Now, Jenna, in your line of work, what is the route to what you do for people outside of transitioning in their life? like what is Like, what is your pillars of helping people get to the other side of their suffering?
00:15:06
Speaker
One thing I have noticed, too, ah is oftentimes in this culture, like in this healing and wellness culture, there's like this narrative that it's only one size fits all.
00:15:18
Speaker
And oftentimes, because we're complex human beings, we do shift and pivot. um and through different chapters of our lives. So what I do is I really think it's important to be on the same level and hold space so that we can explore everything that people are going through at the time to un uncover where it's coming from. And if if we try something that doesn't work or doesn't feel right, just holding space and shining light on the parts of themselves that they might not see because I see it so clearly for them. And so often we block those.
00:15:56
Speaker
I really appreciate doing that for people. It's just holding the space. Yeah. And, you know, you hold the space through relatability, contemplation and holding people to a space that they're comfortable in. So you can really see into them to know that they're OK, even if they don't feel it in the moment, because you experienced that for yourself.
00:16:13
Speaker
Now, with holding space in such an authentic, ah genuine way, compatible or connected or collaborative with human design and astrology, how does that work?
00:16:24
Speaker
Can you not bore into that for your business? Yeah, actually, last night I met with um a friend of mine and i this was the first time i I did his human design and his energy.
00:16:36
Speaker
And we actually, because, and I did it a different way because he is very analytical. And if I would have shown him his human design chart right away, he would have just been focused on and the mechanisms of the picture of the design.

Aligning with Energy Archetypes

00:16:51
Speaker
yeah So we sat and before, you know, we had this conversation, I said, I'm just good he knew nothing about human design. I said, I'm just going to read you some of your energy, like what this is showing you for your energy.
00:17:03
Speaker
And in the moment, we had so many moments that were relatable. even in that environment. And I can tell you one in a minute, but um we went over his energy and he was in the moment instead of thinking about human design. And we were able to tap into different things that he he has never explored, like being a generator and feeling hit why he generates and those are the joys he should follow or um why, you know, he's so connected with the Like he's that he's got an environment of sure. So for those who don't know, ah human design has environments that we we process our information and feel the best in our body.
00:17:42
Speaker
um And so when we were discussing that, the light bulbs were coming on. And it's for me, it's not about I never use it as a tool to dictate anything. i use it more as a tool for reflection and validation for people.
00:17:56
Speaker
Yeah, reflection and validation is great. Now, quick, I got a quick, quick. Oh, maybe can you read my energy? I mean, because you kind of know some of my stuff, but I'm a generator to people who are listening and watching. and I'm a human design generator three, six.
00:18:09
Speaker
I'm a Pisces sun, a Sag moon with a Libra rising. um um My north node is Pisces, fifth house, Placidus, sixth house, whole sign. So by me giving you that, you know, what are you picking up on? What are you reading?
00:18:25
Speaker
So what the way that I would say for Eric is he as a generator, he um should be following his joy. Right. So what lights him up in the moment is the dictator of things that he should be tuning into more in his body. um And then Things that make him feel generators generate when they're doing things that they should follow and then they feel more burnt out or um like they they can't focus or take control of situations when um when they're not generating energy. So it's about following what's feeling in your body.
00:19:03
Speaker
That was profound. That little snippet right there. They feel frustrated or overwhelmed when they feel like they can't generate energy. Usually it's the other way around. We say yes to things that frustrates us or that it's not a hell yes in the moment.
00:19:23
Speaker
It's just, oh, that sounds good. And then we'll get into that container or that project and be like, I don't want to do that. But deeper down, it's because I can't generate the energy I want because I'm not really excited about this.
00:19:36
Speaker
It's just a thing I thought I was going to be excited. And I think my challenge has been knowing when to wait to respond instead of saying yes, because off the impulse, because it sounds good, but does it feel good?
00:19:51
Speaker
And this is why I think human design and energy archetype is so crucial because I think like 70% of the population are generators. um And then with my three, i've I'm aware that I have to experiment things, right? Absolutely.

Astrology's Role in Personal Growth

00:20:06
Speaker
To know it works, what doesn't. And then I guess, you know, later in life, you get on a rooftop. That's the six. That's the role model. That's the mentor. But it's so true because ah did I do and I have burnt out and overwhelmed and done things I didn't really want, but I thought I should because it sounds good, especially with family.
00:20:25
Speaker
I felt obligated, but then it burnt me out and shut me down. Then I don't have my own energy for my own rightness and my own self. ah And within your line of word, So we got the relatability, you hold in space, you know, you talked about your client, I think we say he was a Virgo and a generator and, you know, he's analytical and you just read him, his energetics from human design.
00:20:49
Speaker
Now you have these, you have one, two, now you bring in astrology. How does astrology like sweep it up and put it in like a great package for people to feel like, evolve when you do that. Because I love, listen, Jenna, I love astrology. I was excited to be here today because i know what you know, you know, and I'm excited for you to tap into these parts of your knowing because I light up.
00:21:14
Speaker
Yeah, you do. it' Like our conversation that we had when I met you in person. um I think astrology, again, is so incredible because it can show you different spots in your life where you can tap into. For instance, we know our moon sign. So for me, knowing that I'm a moon, a Libra moon,
00:21:33
Speaker
um in the fifth house, i it helps me understand that my nervous system and the way that I operate really needs balance because the Libra is the balance, right? So I need balance. And when I'm feeling balance, I feel the safest in my body.
00:21:47
Speaker
um It also highlights the, you know, the more shadow sides or the sides that I just have to be aware of, right? Because Libras can be people pleasers, which of course, um and my creativity. But I think what's really cool is when I've pulled charts for other people, um like my son, it's given me insight into how he processes information. And it helps me parent a very different way, because I can fold space for what he needs and see it through a different lens.
00:22:15
Speaker
Yeah. And it's it's so important for people listening to hear me out, hear me now, hear me clearly. Human design, astrology, ah numerology, ah Enneagram, disassessment, anything that's going to get to the root of you behind the frequency that you present that you can't see will be the new information and education that will change your life.
00:22:38
Speaker
So someone like Jenna is someone who can not only help you transition in life, but give you information, ah an opportunity to dive inward of your life to understand why you are where you are and where you want to go for your soul's benefit. Because here at Spiritual Fitness and within this podcast, I'm always want to bring information, guests, insights so people can tap into their soul's essence, their soul's purpose,
00:23:05
Speaker
Because as we see, you know, you have things, you have careers, you have people, you have places.

Tools for Personal Growth and Alignment

00:23:10
Speaker
But it looks good, but it doesn't feel good because we're in misalignment. Because we're going off what they're telling us. They're selling us a dream.
00:23:19
Speaker
They're selling us the desire that we think we want. We don't want these desires. they They're projecting them on. It's marketing. So when you go into the desire of your soul and you connect with someone like, Jen, are you able to kind of have that balance?
00:23:34
Speaker
Pause, we reflect, introspect and see where do I want to take my life in the next two to five years? Why do want to take my life in the next three months? Some people are going through a divorce right now or they want to get out of a long career. or I just had another client who just put her notice in to leave a company. She's, and you know, built up for 20 years.
00:23:55
Speaker
She's a mom. She should be 50 next year and all these little things. But I say all that to say, because I don't want people to take this information is wisdom for granted where can benefit them.
00:24:08
Speaker
One piece of information or someone i'm working with someone like Jenna, can help you make one decision that can change your life. And I always say, if you listen to your intuition, the reason intuition is powerful because it doesn't have a story.
00:24:23
Speaker
Right. It just is. You just know. And I think the more we can move into that space and live from that, even though we have all these other parameters and boundaries and distractions and distortions, we get that.
00:24:36
Speaker
But just take some baby steps and move into this space of life transition with Jenna, learn about your human design and astrology will all benefit the collective.
00:24:47
Speaker
Now, Jenna, I got one last question and I want some feedback from you.

Spiritual Fitness through Grounding and Movement

00:24:51
Speaker
When you think of spiritual fitness, what's the first thing that comes up? Moving and grounding my body. Actually, I had the honor of attending your live event in Toronto.
00:25:02
Speaker
I didn't actually overthink anything, which was very interesting for me. And I walked away feeling incredibly, i felt good. I felt good because it was moving my body and you were acting in a totally...
00:25:17
Speaker
um aligned and present way. And I felt so great both mentally and physically after I completed your class. So when I think of spiritual fitness, I feel ah like grounding and tapping in.
00:25:30
Speaker
Rounding and tapping it. Spiritual fitness people.

Connecting with Jenna Marie

00:25:33
Speaker
Now, Jenna, how can we find you? How can we get into your energy? How can we pull more of your work so we can benefit our life? So um you can find me at ah Wild Child Jenna. That's my Instagram handle. And then my website is wildchildgroup.com.
00:25:53
Speaker
So people can reach out that way. If they'd love to connect in any way, that would be great. I look forward to meeting people. Yes, and we'll put everything in the show notes. And last but not least, can you give us some encouraging words or some inspiration from your soul's essence today? Because we are in a Capricorn full moon today. Can you give the collective, the people that's going to watch and listen to this on inspiration as we sign off?
00:26:17
Speaker
What I would love for people to hear is that we are not supposed to fit in boxes. Everything is not one size fits all. um We are all complex, nuanced human beings going through a life experience. So...
