Speaker: Coffee Story on Andre Ironman by Nadir Afridiks. The first time Andre had his first cup of coffee was during the interview for a junior coffee trader position.
Speaker: After the interview, André was convinced that coffee was his destiny. On the hunt for an adventure, he was especially interested in travelling to the various origins of coffee. He realised that without the tremendous hard work he witnessed and learned about after his time at Audigen, consumers would not be able to enjoy coffee the way they do today. Among the many successes he had during his 15 years working with coffee, he won the Swiss Barista Championship and became the first barista to roast coffee live on stage during his World Barista Championship performance.
Speaker: Andrzej says, I believe the coffee industry offers near endless opportunities for anyone to grow. In the last few years, he founded the UCC Coffee Switzerland Academy and even launched his own specialty coffee range. Recently, he also published his own book titled Inspire and Get Inspired, detailing his journey from marketing director to the world barista championship. Andrzej and his family have now moved to Melbourne
Speaker: where he is the general manager at Victoria Arduino, a company that specialises in quality espresso machines. Above all, Andre maintains that coffee is magical. It connects people with a passion who strive for excellence.
