Preview of Brentford's visit to Everton

00:00:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome to another episode of the Daily Brentford Podcast with myself, Daniel, where today we will be looking ahead to what will be our final league visit to Gooderton Park as we face Everton at the weekend. Unfortunately today I'm not joined by any members of the Daily Everton podcast due to availability if she's on their end, but I am joined by Lydia. How are we?
00:00:33
Lydia
I mean, I'm half-scaled, so I feel like maybe that counts. but say
00:00:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
You can bring the Everton perspective then to this podcast.
00:00:40
Lydia
Yeah. um No, I'm good today. All my English family is from Liverpool and they're like very much split, red and blue.
00:00:50
Lydia
So it'll be an interesting...
00:00:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
Who do you prefer?
00:00:55
Lydia
Liverpool.
00:00:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
ial Okay.
00:00:58
Lydia
Before Brentville were in the prem, they were like my prem team. so
00:01:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, I can't get too into that.
00:01:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
I can't get too into that.
00:01:05
Lydia
yeah

International Duty and Team Selection

00:01:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
So let's get going with team news. I have noticed that during the international break, Whissa, Brian and Boomer and Ethan Pinnock were all called up to their national team but did not play a part.
00:01:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Now obviously we've seen with the England team about nine or ten of them pulled out so I don't know
00:01:42
Lydia
Yeah.
00:01:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
too much how to read into that. I hope they're all injury precautions but with Brentford you never know.
00:01:51
Lydia
Yeah.
00:01:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think just typically this November international break is the one where matches are mounting up, players are tired and nobody really wants to play.
00:02:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
um in these Nations League games if you're in Europe. I'm not sure what games Whistler and Abumo had. I think they were African Nations qualifiers.
00:02:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
So i I do wonder why they they missed out on those.
00:02:17
Lydia
Excellent, yes.
00:02:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
And again, Pinnock, they may have had qualifiers or some sort ah well as well with Jamaica. and I think it goes without saying it would probably be a different game without them in the side.
00:02:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
So we very much hope to see them.
00:02:35
Lydia
Yeah.
00:02:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
um In regards to how we played in our last game of Siqueen Lewis Potter featured at Leftback, is that something you think we should persist with?
00:02:46
Lydia
I think from from the last game I think that he definitely was good and left that and I think that Frank should play him there again.
00:02:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I mean, he he was good. It was a good game. I think it says a lot about where Mads Roslev is at that we will play um obviously a centre back in his position and we'd rather pay KLP at left back rather than the centre back to play at left back to enable Roslev to play in the team in his natural position.
00:03:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think it does say quite a bit about you know that he may not quite be at the standard although talking of Roslev he did make his Denmark debut in the
00:03:27
Lydia
Yeah.
00:03:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
international break, managed by Brian Remer, so pe perhaps not um so surprising given obviously that that they all know each other from their time at Brentford and apparently he did give a good account of himself.
00:03:37
Lydia
Yeah.
00:03:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I am pleased to him. I think um he's not as bad as some Redford fans like to make out.
00:03:44
Lydia
Yeah.
00:03:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
I just think on the ball, particularly in the way we're trying to play this season, I don't think the quality is there, but I think he works very hard and I think defensively he can be okay.
00:04:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
Um, so you would keep Kino's pottery left back. What, what if Aya is back and I haven't really heard an update from Thomas Frank about this.
00:04:10
Lydia
yeah ah from everything I've seen I don't think he'll be back but if okay say he was um I don't know I think I'd probably bring him on ah half time just because I don't know where his fitness is at
00:04:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think often with these things, he's he's more like to start, I think, but may not complete the 90 minutes. um I don't think he's been out for long enough where we, like like the likes of Rico Henry, for example, when he's first in a squad, I do expect him to be on the bench because he's been out for so long and he really needs to be introduced back in.
00:04:46
Lydia
Yeah, I don't, there's no reco updates, are there?
00:04:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
and

Midfield Strategy and Player Performance

00:04:53
Lydia
No.
00:04:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
<unk>re We're going to get to that, but I don't think he's played at all, even for the beating yet, so we'll come to that.
00:04:56
Lydia
yes
00:05:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
But yeah, I think Ayah slips back in at left back and Vandenberg stays at right back if Ayah's fit, and that allows KLP to move back into midfield, and then you're probably looking at someone like Jenson coming out of the team.
00:05:10
Lydia
Yeah.
00:05:18
Global Sports Podcast Network
Having said that, I quite like the idea of Jenson being the extra man in midfield that we had in our last game. I think, although Dam's guard was kind of playing on the left, I feel like he drifted into the middle a lot as well.
00:05:32
Lydia
yeah
00:05:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I think with Dam's guard Jenson, you know, and Norguard, we had that extra body in midfield and that essentially meant that we could control the midfield better.
00:05:38
Lydia
Yeah.
00:05:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
So would would you keep Jenson in as well? I think, His ability on the ball and the way we're trying to play is probably quite helpful.
00:05:52
Lydia
Yeah, I think like from the sort of physical profiles of like the Everton team, I'd have Jenson instead of Damsegaard, purely from like a, Yeah, like a physicality perspective. But I do think obviously his long throws, stuff like that, um I think it's beneficial having an extra man in the middle.
00:06:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
Would you have both of them? You'd have both of them, or just one of them?
00:06:17
Lydia
No, just one, just one. I'd have Jenson and then bring dance garden.
00:06:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
See, I would be kind of inclined to go, if KLP is a left-back, I think all four of them will play, and which is Jenson Dam's guard, you know, a north guard. I think winning in the midfield battle in this game will be quite big. Like you say, they're quite a physical team.
00:06:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
and we don't want to be overpowered in midfield and I think if you have obviously Jensen and Jensen nor guard and you know really central and then damage guard drifting in as well I think hopefully we can outnumber them in that area and Keen Lewis Potter can bomb up and down like he did um in the last game but yeah it it's it's difficult because if I was back then you would have thought he'd come back in at left back and he probably won't bomb up and down in the same way as Keen Lewis Potter will
00:06:57
Lydia
Yeah.
00:07:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
So then King Lewis Potter will probably start on the left up front and then you've got a dilemma as as to which three of the four um you choose.
00:07:18
Lydia
Which one you want, yeah.
00:07:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
I also think in the last two or three games, Janelle has been better than Norguard. I don't know about your thoughts on that.
00:07:28
Lydia
I think Norgard, yeah, definitely was like making less them and less of an impact. And I think, obviously he's like an like a reliable

Introducing New Players

00:07:40
Lydia
player. um And in my mind, like, you know, it's kind of the similar, like, sort of reliability wise. But I do think, yeah, Norguard perhaps wasn't playing as well as we normally see him playing. And I probably have, you know, him instead.
00:07:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I do think, I do think we'll see both of them. um But I just think obviously in the Fulham game, it was a bad game around, but you know, it did come up with the only bit of real quality with the goal. And then obviously the move um that resulted in Whistler's second goal against Bournemouth was probably the highlight of the game. So I think, you know, and the way he's been playing, I think he definitely deserves a spot in the team despite being previous week's call in for perhaps him to step aside to make way for both Jenson and Lamb's guard. Are there any other changes or anything else you want to talk about the likely starting lineup at the weekend?
00:08:45
Lydia
I think, I don't think there'll be other changes up front really. I don't see that happening. Obviously, yeah.
00:08:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, yeah. talking about up front. There were minutes for Igor Tiago and Gustavo Nunez during the international break in behind the club behind closed doors friendlies.
00:09:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
Brentford have also been posting pictures of Tiago especially in training this week. and As you said, there's still no sign of Rico Henry.
00:09:10
Lydia
yeah
00:09:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
He still does not appear to have played in any of these behind the closed doors games.
00:09:15
Lydia
I saw he went out to visit Tony. That's the one.
00:09:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
It was him under dis silver. I think they had some sort of training camp going on.
00:09:21
Lydia
Yeah. They were at some training camp. That was like the one update we got.
00:09:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, with Ivo and yeah. So, Rico Henry is still alive, unlike Aaron Hickey, who we don't know where he is at the moment.
00:09:30
Lydia
Yeah. Yeah.
00:09:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
um But it doesn't appear he's only close to playing minutes, and Thomas Frank has been a bit reluctant to put a time frame on that. But there were minutes for Igo Tiago and Gustavo Nunez in the international break.
00:09:41
Lydia
yeah
00:09:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think it would be ambitious for them to be on the bench this weekend, but if they are, then that would be a very exciting addition, what you thought.
00:09:53
Lydia
That would be very exciting, yeah. I think obviously we haven't seen them like, well we haven't seen Tiago in the prem yet properly so that's always going to be exciting and it would be exciting to see how they fit into the team.

Everton's Playing Style and Key Players

00:10:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think the the only thing about Thiago's Wisser is doing so well up front. I would not move Wisser from that starting center forward position. I can see Thomas Fram perhaps shifting him over to the left like we have done when we had Ivan Tony.
00:10:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
But I think Wisser is so much better down the middle. I think his goal record speaks for itself.
00:10:27
Lydia
Yeah.
00:10:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think there might be certain times and scenarios where you want a more physical presence like Thiago. um who can maybe hold up the ball better if we're struggling to play out from the bag if we want to go long.
00:10:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
But I don't think we should be rushing to just bring him in for a whistle for the sake of it.
00:10:46
Lydia
Yeah, we shouldn't do it like for the sake of it kind of thing.
00:10:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, they'll be good at first, first season in in English football for both of them. We don't want to put a lot of pressure on them if they can just get some fitness and um slowly integrate themselves into the side.
00:10:56
Lydia
Yeah.
00:11:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's a positive.
00:11:01
Lydia
Okay.
00:11:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
And obviously we've seen the likes of Dam's guard, Shada, you know, all struggle initially to adapt to English football. Dam's guard's obviously been brilliant this season, but it's taken him, you know, a year or two or so later to get to this spot.
00:11:16
Lydia
Yeah.
00:11:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
So hopefully we can allow Tiago the time and we don't need to rely on him necessarily straight away.
00:11:18
Lydia
Uh-huh.
00:11:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
I want to talk about Everton and their team news a little bit because obviously we've got no one from the Everton podcast on. ah I don't know what your general impressions are of them, but I usually when we play Everton and when we play a Sean Dyche team, the games are quite close.
00:11:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think they're typically quite difficult to beat, quite robust, quite old school.
00:11:51
Lydia
yeah
00:11:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah But they've got physicality, like you said. um Is there anyone in particular or anything about Everton in particular that you think we should expect at the weekend?
00:12:07
Lydia
I think definitely like the physicality and I think that it will be Yeah, we need to look out for Tarkovsky, obviously we already know him, but I think they haven't got that many standout players in my mind.
00:12:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, I think they're a unit. I think Sean Dyche's Burnley team was quite similar. um They're a unit they're not easy to beat. I know they've lapsed a few times this season where they've gone ahead and ended up losing games. I think they went tuning them up twice, I think, Everton, and lost both of games. But I think they're they're over that now. And I think they are going back to what we usually expect from them, which is quite solid. They won't score lots of goals.
00:12:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
But Jordan Pickford in goal is a solid goalkeeper. I think he shared that again for England in the international break. Obviously, the likes of James Tarkowski is solid premmi at Premier League level, very experienced now.
00:13:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Jared Bramford's been injured for a lot of the season, but seems to have been back in recent weeks, although he did also pull out of the England squad. But I don't know how much to read and into that has as as everyone else did.
00:13:20
Lydia
I think everyone did.
00:13:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
and But again, obviously, he got he got those employed. It's last season. um Even Michael Kean seems to have stepped in okay when Jarry Brantford has not been around going forward.
00:13:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
They've moved things around a bit this season. Dwight McNeil, who used to play on the wing, has been playing more centrally. He always seems to score against Brantford for some reason.
00:13:45
Lydia
Let's end that curse now.
00:13:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, and obviously he's he's a Sean Dyche disciple because he was part of the Burnley team and that Sean Dyche had as well. um Illeman and Dye used to play for Sheffield United. He has more technical quality. I would say that he is not a typical Sean Dyches player really because he's not he he normally likes big target men strikers like Dominic Calvert living but then Dye will play in and around him is more technical probably their best player technically and I think he's someone to look out for too um but
00:14:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
I do expect it's a difficult one because I think we would prefer an end-to-end game with a bit of chaos because we score so many goals and you see so many goals but I think they will want a tight affair, they will keep it tight and they will want to try and nick a 1-0 win and I think they're capable of doing it.
00:14:32
Lydia
Yeah.
00:14:34
Lydia
yeah
00:14:41
Lydia
Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it would be like ah the best game to watch.
00:14:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, well I'm going so I hope it will be.
00:14:51
Lydia
hopefully it is
00:14:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
Everton are 16th in the Premier League on 10 points. They are three points above Crystal Palace in 18th. So they're not out of trouble yet. And I feel like this has become symbolic of Everton in recent years.
00:15:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
They always seem to be down there. But once again, I do think there'll be at least three teams worse than this year.
00:15:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't know about you.
00:15:14
Lydia
Yeah.
00:15:15
Lydia
They always manage like just about like locking out.
00:15:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
but
00:15:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I ah watched a bit of the Crystal Palace vs Wolves game a couple of weeks ago and I thought they were both quite bad and obviously both of those teams are quite established Premier League teams and I think we can obviously see them just really struggling this year.
00:15:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think Palace have a lot of injuries, obviously they lost Alisa in the summer
00:15:39
Lydia
Yeah.
00:15:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
Wolves just looked bereft of confidence. Obviously so they've won a game now, so we'll see if that changes. But I do expect Everton to perform better than that. I think i think there their lowest standard is higher, I think, than some of those teams below them.
00:15:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think that they will always be quite difficult to beat.
00:16:00
Lydia
Yeah, otherwise they'll be like with the nicest swankiest new stadium in the championship.
00:16:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yes, yes, which will be quite funny. I'm not going to lie, but I do think they'll be OK, but 10 points, only three points above the relegation zone.
00:16:12
Lydia
Yeah, that would be funny.
00:16:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
They definitely aren't out of it yet, and I've seen some Everton fans say this is a must win game for them.

Challenges in Facing Everton

00:16:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
um After the break, then we will go we will be going for our previous visits to Everton and obviously our our previous games against Everton in general and what we can expect this time and our all important predictions.
00:18:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome to part two of the Daily Brentford podcast with myself and Lydia. So talking of tight games and 1-0 defeats, we have lost the last three Premier League games against Everton.
00:18:11
Lydia
Yeah.
00:18:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Two of them were 1-0 defeats at Goodison Park. And then we had the 3-1 game at the beginning of last season, which I think was probably the worst performance of the season and up till that point at the GTEC in between.
00:18:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't think we need to spend too much time on this given what we've just spoken about, but I get the impression from that and they're not a nice team to play against.
00:18:33
Lydia
No.
00:18:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
and Thomas Rank's record against Sean Dyches in general, and he beat us in the Premier League with his Burnley team. I think that was the, wasn't it 3-1 defeat away at Burnley with Godosh scoring what was a very good goal, but I think we were 3-0 down at that stage.
00:18:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think it was the first time that Burnley had been throwing it up in the first half of a Premier League game on the Sean Dyche.
00:19:01
Lydia
yeah
00:19:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
As said, to the only victory that Thomas Frank, I think, at least in recent times, has had against Sean Dyche as a 2-0 win at home against Burnley in Dyche's final month in charge at Burnley with two late goals in April 2022.
00:19:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
So that do you expect more of the same on this occasion?
00:19:24
Lydia
Yeah. I think like
00:19:33
Lydia
I don't think that Goodison Park is a nice place to play at, obviously. And I think that physically the teams, like they are obviously a lot bigger kind of thing. um And I think that, like you said, they want they'll want it to be they just want to get it over and done with ah like a one nil win kind of thing. So I don't think it would be easy for us. And I don't think we'll be able to play how we necessarily would

Brentford's Away Game Concerns

00:20:04
Lydia
want to. But I do think, obviously Frank is like one of those managers that can change the formation, can like change, depending on who we're playing against. So I don't think like all hope is lost. I think, yeah, we've we've got a good chance of winning, definitely.
00:20:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think obviously they're very direct, they're very physical, they're different. They're probably perhaps the most different to every other Premier League team these days. I think several years ago you had had the likes of Sam Allardyce and those types of managers all playing quite a similar way to Everton these days, but I think Sean Dyche is kind of the last man standing.
00:20:33
Lydia
yeah
00:20:47
Lydia
Yeah, old school.
00:20:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah in a way. and If you look at all the technical managers that you even have at, you know, lower level teams now, like Iraiola at Bournemouth, obviously even Thomas Frank at Brentford this season, we're trying to play that perhaps a more attractive style of play.
00:21:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I think it is very different. It's not something we're used to facing.
00:21:08
Lydia
Mm-hmm.
00:21:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think it's something we'd probably face more in the championship.
00:21:11
Lydia
Yeah.
00:21:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
So maybe they're preparing for next season. and yeah but Like you said, I think Thomas Frank is adaptable and although he has a poor record against Sean Dyche, I certainly don't think that he can't ever beat him again.
00:21:31
Lydia
Yeah, oh for sure.
00:21:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think, you know, he has the capabilities to come up with a style and come up with a solution to how Sean Dyche is going to play.
00:21:40
Lydia
Yeah.
00:21:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think we know what to expect from Everton. and Obviously this it will be interesting because we we are starting to play a little bit differently this season um in terms of trying to play out with the ball a lot more so we might see a bigger contrast between us and how Everton are trying to play and obviously maybe the way we're playing now suits us against the sides who maybe lack technical quality a little bit more and are a bit more evident and are a bit more like how Everton play so
00:22:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Do you think that could be different this time or what do you think could be different this time?
00:22:19
Lydia
I think if obviously Thomas Frank goes into every game thinking we can win, and I think that the added record like against Diesh will like make him want to win even more, I see. um But I do think that we are adapting better to these types of teams. And I think that, yeah, we we can make it more exciting probably and maybe more goals than before.
00:22:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
if If you look at our results this season, we have beaten teams that you'd probably expect us to be or you'd or you'd probably think that we're on par with. and The only exception is is possibly Fulham, but they're doing very, very well this season.
00:23:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
We still only just lost that game despite putting in quite a poor performance.
00:23:08
Lydia
Yeah.
00:23:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
um And obviously that was away from home. the reservation I have is that difference between our home form and our waveform. We are yet to pick up a single point on the road.
00:23:18
Lydia
yeah
00:23:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
Is this our most winnable away game so far this season?
00:23:25
Lydia
So far, I'd say, yeah.
00:23:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
um How important though is it that we do start to get points on the road? Obviously we're we're doing well at home, we're getting points at home which is keeping us almost in the top half but do you think it's achievable to
00:23:34
Lydia
Yeah.
00:23:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
keep struggling so much away without us sliding down the table inevitably.
00:23:44
Lydia
Definitely not. like Especially when we're here against Everton, we should be winning, I think. We need to end this drought away from home. Otherwise, yeah, as soon as we get a bad run at home, then like, what have we got to fall back on?
00:24:00
Lydia
Nothing, pretty much. So we need to start changing that.
00:24:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:24:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think with respect, if you look at most of the home teams we've played, it is the bottom four or five and Bournemouth. Bournemouth is a very good result, but as we get into December and January, the games get more difficult, especially at home.
00:24:16
Lydia
Yeah.
00:24:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I think it is important that we do start to get points, pick up points consistently home and away, um even even if we're not winning those games, it's important to get off the mark.
00:24:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I do think this is a test that we should be aspiring to pass, I think. I wouldn't necessarily say we should be winning. I think Everton at Goodison are always going to be a difficult team to beat.
00:24:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't necessarily expect us to go there and blow them away. I think it will be a close game. But I think we have a chance and I think we should be competitive.
00:24:48
Lydia
Yeah.

Game Predictions and Conclusion

00:24:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
And like you said, I think we should be looking to get something out of this given our A record so far. So then predictions, what are you going for?
00:25:02
Lydia
um I'm going to say not many goals. I'll go one-all.
00:25:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Okay, who's going to score?
00:25:12
Lydia
Okay, I think Whistler.
00:25:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Okay, I was surprised because I thought you just said we should be winning.
00:25:18
Lydia
I know, but we should be with him for that thinking about it. I don't think we will.
00:25:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I was going to say well as well. um But you're normally a bit more positive than me and obviously you was you was right on the ball with the c and say
00:25:31
Lydia
yeah
00:25:33
Lydia
Yeah. Okay. mitte You know what? I'll let you have the one or I'll change it to, I'll say we'll win two, one. I'll keep with the positivity.
00:25:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah ah I do still think we'll concede, despite I don't think Everton are the strongest going forward, but we've not shown anything this season to convince me that we'll keep a cliche.
00:25:48
Lydia
Yeah. yeah
00:25:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I'd also like to think we score, although we've been brilliant going forward at home. I don't think we've necessarily seen that same attacking dynamism away from home, even against Fulham.
00:26:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
I thought we we barely broke forward. so We're going to need to try and win the midfield battle and we're going to need to try and get forward to some regularity. I think if we're going to have success in doing that, it will be in this game, as opposed to any of the other weight games we've had so far.
00:26:21
Lydia
Mm.
00:26:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I think we can do it. I think ultimately it might if if one side is going to win it, it will be down to who gets their way. If Everton keep it tight, prevent us from really doing anything.
00:26:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
And if they can be physical and put loads of long balls in, I think they will eventually break us down. Whereas if we can play and if we can, you know, play through their press or play through their midfield and win that battle, I think we can create chances and I think we can score goals.
00:26:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I'm going to say one all as well, because I think it'll be a bit of both, perhaps.
00:26:57
Lydia
yeah
00:26:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't think either team will be particularly happy um if it does end one all.
00:27:01
Lydia
Yeah.
00:27:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
But yeah, I'm going to go one all and It is hard to choose anyone other than Embuma or Whissa for the goals, but I'm going to go for a set-piece goal.
00:27:13
Lydia
yeah Any random surprises you think we might see?
00:27:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
So then I'll go for Pinnock. I'll go for Pinnock. Or Nathan Collins. One of them. and
00:27:28
Lydia
Oh, let's see what happens.
00:27:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, at least it's different, something different from Embuma and Whissa.
00:27:35
Lydia
Yeah. I feel like I always end up saying the same thing.
00:27:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah well they're proving it, that they're they're both right at the top of the goal scoring charts.
00:27:41
Lydia
And then they prove it, yeah, so I continue.
