So today is day three and we're talking all about email marketing and using it to nurture your clients, right and It is one of the most powerful tools for growing your business.

Social media, it gets all the hype, right? But email is where the magic happens. It's where you nurture deeper relationships and connections and build trust with your audience. So if social media is feeling like a drainer for you um and you want to try something that's a little more effective, then email is where the magic happens.

its especially if you're tired of that hustle for attention online, right? I've recently gone all in with my email strategy and I've changed things up. I shifted from those usual tactics that like we should do. I say that in exclamation mark, um quotation marks, you know, doing things the way we should do is a big part. Letting go of that is a big part of your human design.

And I realized, even though I live and breathe human design, there were some parts of my marketing, some minor parts of my marketing where I was still doing things the way I should do them. And when I let go of that and went back to my human design and changed things, it's, it's made like all of the difference,

right? I'm doing things that are more aligned in a more intuitive way and I'm focusing on genuine connections instead of like sales heavy messages. The copy in my nurture sequence feels really good to me and it makes me feel excited, right? Which is a sign that it's aligned with my personal human design, right?

I've even started sending little gifts to my list. um They're simple but effective things like um ah Google Docs, Loom recordings. They're things that take me a few minutes, right? But they deliver value to my um audience and it's really been transformative.

um A side note on that, I'm in a launch phase right now and I'm sending going to be sending or i've started sending a lot more emails than usual and I'm going to be doing so over the next week or so so I expect that my open rates will go down and I'm going to get unsubscribes but I'm okay with that right because I know the right people will still be there when it's all over and things return to normal.

But yeah, I am loving um email. And yeah, by changing the way I do it feels really good to me. So let's dive in and see how you can start doing the same and utilizing this really powerful tool.

Consistency and Automation in Email Marketing

It really matters email because it's a direct line to your audience. And unlike social media where, you know, your content gets lost in the feed, email has really given you the chance to connect in a personal and a more focused way. Think of it having, you know, a one-on-one conversation, building trust and really sharing insights directly with your audience.

So here's why emails can be a game changer for client growth. It helps you build trust. So consistent emails, they really help you share tips, you know expertise. They make your clients feel connected to you long before they buy from you. It helps you stay top of mind, right? By showing up regularly in their inbox, you're the first person that they're gonna think of when they need your service.

And it's automated, right? You use sequences um to nurture your leads automatically.

You set up welcome emails, you know, content reminders, check-ins, these kinds of things. I've got automations going everywhere in my um email right now and it all builds value with minimum effort like that automation is a big plus it saves me a lot of time in my own business i've set up something so that people you know if they want to work with me from a design perspective they can grab my price guide they can you know book a call like lots of things so it's all automated and saves a lot of back and forth for me

So some steps to create effective email content. We want to keep it simple with some actionable steps that you can start right away today. So even if you're already using email, you're still going to get some tips out of these. So um keep watching.

The first step is to start your email account, obviously. So, you know, get get your um platform set up. If you haven't yet, um already got one. Start with platforms, you know, like MailChimp, MailAlight is apparently a really good one. Most have free options to get you going without the stress, right? but If you want to send automations and things for most of them, you'll have to have a paid account and in my opinion, it is worth the monthly fee. I just count that as something that I need in my business to help it grow.

Step two, write with intention. So, you know, when if you're just getting started, introduce yourself, be authentic, explain who you are, what you do and how you can help. Don't over complicate it, keep it real, um invite readers to reply, create a conversation and help build that connection.

Step three is align your writing with your energy type. So let's go back to your human design, create that um authenticity in it, relate to your energy type. grab your chart and find out about your energy type. I'll give you a quick, um really quick overview for each energy type of um you know that how you can align your writing with it. So if you're a generator, answer audience questions or address common challenges that you're seeing, right? Keep your tone open and responsive so that people can respond to you.

For manifesting generators, you want to highlight new ideas, current projects, or spontaneous insights and invite feedback. Manifestors, you want to be bold and announce you know, impactful insights. Encourage action and make sure your um vision is known. You know, share that with your audience. For projectors, for you it's all about offering guidance with valuable insights and tips. That's going to position you as that mentor and guide and people are going to invite you for more.

and reflectors, share your observations about trends in your industry and invite responses to really boost that engagement.

Incorporating Long-term Content in Emails

Step four is sharing your long-term content in your email. So yesterday for day three of our challenge, we talked about long-term content. So if you miss that, go back, watch or listen to that. ah But you can share that in your email in your emails to you know um make the most mileage out of what you're creating so include snippets you know share key takeaway or a mini mini summary of you know your latest blog your podcast or your youtube you know and um you know invite them to jump over to that spot and you know read more or listen or whatever

invite conversations, you know, at the end of your emails, ask your audience if they found it helpful or have any questions, right? To keep that engagement, you know, happening.

um generators and manifesting generators, which make up most of the population, um their strategy um is to respond. And, you know, they're probably a big part of your email list. So, you know, tap into that, ask questions and give them something to respond to.

couple of tips. So so tip five, create a consistent schedule. create you know Choose one day a week for your email or one day of Fortnite. Consistency helps build anticipation and keeps you top of mind. For me, I've mentioned in the other days, consistency is something I totally really struggle with.

in my human design chart I'm a go with the flow in this area but um so yeah I do struggle with staying consistent even though I know how important it is but I do my best who so that's the main thing. And a final um um another tip aim for value driven content that genuinely helps and connects with your readers without being overly promotional. Okay. And another tip, look at the stats. What content i that you're sharing is getting more open rates. You know, what are people clicking on?

those things that are getting those higher numbers do more of that to boost it. So for an example, um like I mentioned, I started giving a free gift um in my emails, right?

Experimenting with Email Content Types

And the first email where I gave that free gift, I got a 68% open rate and a 14% click rate. Compared to what I was doing before, it was pretty much like um It was a massive jump, right? And I could see that my audience liked the value. So I made it part of my plan to deliver more of that. And so now I'm experimenting with what that value is and seeing what things my audience like more. What do they wanna see more of? So always look at the stats and you know adjust accordingly. So today's sort of action step is take five minutes, right?

write one short genuine email introducing yourself or reintroducing yourself if you've been ghosting your audience and include a personal touch like why you started your business or you know how um human design guides your journey or whatever add some personal element to it and invite them to reply and share how you can help or answer their questions.
