Answering the question, what does a UPG look like in the diaspora is a challenge. UPGs in the diaspora take on hybrid identities (Hybridity) and have fractured social networks. Often in the diaspora the people's identity gets wider, but their allegiances get narrower.

It becomes a much more challenging in identifying identity and worldview of the UPG diaspora once intermarriage of people groups take place and among generations 1.5, 2, 3, etc.
