legend.
00:00:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
I'm mixing pundit and legend into one word. He's the pudget London. And he,
00:00:38
Nick Britten
to It doesn't even work, does it?
00:00:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
as you And you're very welcome. And so we're recording this, by the way, as the transfer window closes. So it's a kind of a special time. 6.45, in fact, 6.48 on the first Monday, the 1st of September.
00:00:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
The window closes in 12 minutes time. So if there's any breaking news on the transfer window, we will bring you that. As a special welcome always to our everyday listeners who make the Daily Premier League podcast part of their daily routine. You're very, very welcome.
00:01:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
So we've got one eye on the breaking news while we bring you the news that we do know about. And it's been very packed. It's been a very packed agenda. Nick, anything that's really jumped out at you? There's been a few big moves that we've kind of trailed, but which are the ones that have really caught your eye?
Alexander Isak's Potential Move to Liverpool
00:01:26
Nick Britten
Well, of course, we are still waiting for confirmation that Alexander Isak has signed for Liverpool. He's done his medical. Everything should be going through there. But with 11 minutes now to go until the window shuts, still no official confirmation.
00:01:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank
00:01:39
Nick Britten
But we certainly are expecting that.
New Goalkeepers for Manchester Clubs
00:01:43
Nick Britten
Breaking sort of news today. I guess Manchester United do get a goalkeeper through the door. They need one. So the Royal Antwerp goalkeeper, Sainz Lamans, is going to sign for £18.2 million. pounds And across the city of Manchester, Jalouji Donnarumma in from PSG, which frees up Edison to go to Fenerbahce.
00:02:05
Nick Britten
And that's an interesting one. So both Manchester clubs signing new keepers on deadline day.
00:02:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank
00:02:11
Nick Britten
ah I'll tell you, as a transfer that's happened in the last 20 minutes or so has now been completed, which I think is one of the smarter transfers of the window, is that Aston Villa, who, of course, had a terrible start to the season,
00:02:23
Nick Britten
ah Lost three out.
Aston Villa's Loan Deal for Harvey Elliott
00:02:24
Nick Britten
Well, no, they haven't won yet. They drew the first game lost the last couple. They've signed Harvey Elliott on loan for Liverpool. Now, I think that is a really, really astute and smart signing.
00:02:33
Nick Britten
I thought he should be playing more for Liverpool than he has done, but he's in on loan with a view that Villa will buy him at the end of this loan period. ah Victor Lindelof is also coming for Villa, as we knew. Jadon Sanchez is coming for Villa from Manchester United.
00:02:48
Nick Britten
So they have been a little bit of active. Whether Lindelof and Sanchez are the types of players who will improve them, I don't know. But Harvey Eller is a very, very astute signing. And then um going off to the northeast, of course, Johan Wisser in Newcastle after, again, player who down tools the same as Isaac has.
00:03:09
Nick Britten
And we didn't know whether that was going to get get it done until the last 24 hours when he released a statement yesterday saying essentially, look, you told me I could go. I've got it in writing. You've just got to let me go. And that's what's happened. So Wissler in at Newcastle ah to replace Alexander Isak. They also, of course, got Volta Marder in the other day.
00:03:28
Nick Britten
So Newcastle Not a bad window for them in all.
00:03:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
you
00:03:32
Nick Britten
and then But a really interesting one, finally then, before we get into the meat of stuff, going on in London.
Mark Gahey's Potential Move to Liverpool
00:03:38
Nick Britten
Because, of course, Mark Gahey is expected to sign for Liverpool. Palace didn't want to let him go until they had a replacement in. They thought they had a replacement in, in Igor Julio from Brighton.
00:03:49
Nick Britten
He had a medical at Palace. He was set to sign for Palace. But... concerns about his is game time he's going to get, has seen him go off to East London, and he's now expected to sign for West Ham instead. Now, that leaves a massive hole in Palace's defence.
00:04:07
Nick Britten
yeah and it's And it's left the Gehi deal up in the air. I mean, I don't think it's going to be up in the air. He's had a medical today in London. I don't think it's going to be up in the air because ultimately Palace... won't want to let him go for nothing in next summer when his contract is up.
00:04:23
Nick Britten
So although £35 million pounds seems a very low price for a player who's...
00:04:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
yes It's a bargain of the transfer window, in my my opinion.
00:04:30
Nick Britten
yeah And I expect him to be England's main defender as well at the World Cup next year, by the way. It's better than nothing. £35 million pounds is better than getting nothing for him. So there's still there's still a bit of conjecture about exactly what's going to going to happen there. But they're the main stories, I think, coming out of today.
00:04:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, and they're fascinating. We'll go and teach you one of those in detail. Do you think, by the way, one of the things I think we've seen in the course is transfer window, which has been an absolutely fascinating transfer window from day one so to now, in the sense of players thinking they're going, not going, teams getting ah um you denuded of talent and having to to fill in, Newcastle's inability to get people
Players Forcing Transfers: A New Trend?
00:05:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
over the line.
00:05:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
But one of the themes that I think is really fascinating kind of stood out is this players forcing a move. And there's two aspects of this, really, both the fact that they're prepared to do that, but also the public nature of their, their, their ability, if you like to tell people and their, and their, uh,
00:05:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
that The fact that they will actually talk in public about their grievances in order to engineer that move. So the fact that people are yeah saying, right, I'm on strike effectively, and I'm going to talk the press about why I'm on strike, that seems to have been a major thing. Do you think think this is a new precedent? you think we can expect to see more of this?
00:05:53
Nick Britten
Yes, I think so. We probably will from now on. I mean, player power has been growing and growing and growing. And if they don't feel like they are getting what they feel they deserve or they feel they've been promised, then, yeah. i mean, look, there's two ways of doing this, isn't there? there's the There's the Alexander Isak and Johan Wisser way of doing things.
00:06:13
Nick Britten
And there is the Eberachie Eze and Mark Gay way of doing things. I much prefer the latter. I think Eze handled himself in an exemplary manner. at Palace before he went to Arsenal and Gahisame scored a great goal by the way last night have it brilliant goal for Palace in their 3-0 win away in Manchester City And that's the way to do it.
00:06:34
Nick Britten
You know, be honest, be upfront. You are contracted to a team. You should play for that team. And I just don't like, I do not like this. Right, throwing toys out of the pram, attitude by players.
00:06:45
Nick Britten
I don't think it, i mean, look, you you could argue that it's worked because Izak is going to sign for and to Liverpool. We're just waiting for confirmation in the next few minutes. Wiss has signed for Newcastle. So you could argue that their actions have changed got them where they wanted to be. But it leaves, in my opinion, ah sour taste in your mouth. I don't think it's the way to behave.
00:07:04
Nick Britten
I think it's very disrespectful to the clubs ah that paid them their considerable wages. i mean, look, there's always two sides to this story, isn't there? And the other side is, if they have been promised to move, then the clubs should honour that.
00:07:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm-hmm.
00:07:19
Nick Britten
And if Whistler has got written confirmation that he will be sold, then the clubs should honour that.
00:07:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Interesting one. I do think it's part of this this whole globalisation of agent activity. You see this a lot more in the You see it in the NFL. You see it in baseball.
00:07:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah You see in basketball, where if things aren't going right for the player, the player understands they are the talent. They are the talent and they really drive the agenda. And they are much more prepared these days to actually say, I'm going to down tools if I don't get what I what i want.
00:07:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think we've seen a big step towards this in the Premier League. Now, as we
Liverpool's Record-Breaking Transfer Spending
00:07:56
Nick Britten
and on And you know what? I don't mind that. If that's the way they want to behave, fine, but I wouldn't pay them. Just don't pay then. And that's the problem.
00:07:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
know And and there are there are rules about that, certainly in the US.
00:08:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
But ah but i don't I don't think the Premier League has quite got up to speed with that yet. And I think i think it's an interesting thing to watch.
00:08:11
Nick Britten
No, they haven't. No, they haven't. But
00:08:15
Global Sports Podcast Network

00:08:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
Right, want to dig into a little bit more detail about some of these individual transfers and how they transform, I feel like, the opportunities of the teams that they are going to. So first things first, Liverpool, and it looks like again it would have got you it looks like they're going to get Gehi, million pounds spent and so has that just won in the premi league
00:09:19
Nick Britten
Well, it's not just that, is it? Already by buying ISAC, they take their spending to more than £446 million pounds this summer, which will be a British record.
00:09:34
Nick Britten
It's bigger than Chelsea's previous record of £434.5 million, which spent in the summer If they get a deal for Gaiye over the line at 35, that will take their total spend to more than 481 million.
00:09:47
Nick Britten
Now they've generated, should be said, 228 million pound in player sales. So spending will be, if Gaiye signs, spending will be around 250 million pound mark, which isn't obscene on the face of it, I suppose, and but it just blows everybody else out of the water.
00:10:06
Nick Britten
And Is it the title? Well, you'd think so, wouldn't you? You'd think so. You'd think so.
00:10:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think so.
00:10:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:10:13
Nick Britten
i mean, they've felt they fill in they're going to fill in the two most important gaps in their team, which is striker for the centre-half.
00:10:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Absolutely. Yeah, they look pretty invincible with those two in the team. And Newcastle have got to be feeling a bit happier now they've landed Wyssa, whatever the circumstances. Things gone a bit cooler on Strang Larsson.
00:10:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
Do you think with the work they've done up front, you think that's going to make the make the difference that clearly was a big gap in in Newcastle's plans?
00:10:40
Nick Britten
I think so. Of surprise, though, is that they've let Will Asula go to Frankfurt, which i I find odd because that still leaves them where they were a few weeks ago with one striker.
00:10:52
Nick Britten
one one One kind of number nine.
00:10:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
One striker, maybe.
00:10:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:10:55
Nick Britten
You know, Wissler is kind of in between, but he's not an out-on-out number nine.
00:10:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, yeah.
00:10:59
Nick Britten
So I'm quite surprised they've let Asula go, but Getting out, Izak and the reported £130 million pounds for that, £125 million, pounds I think it's going to be in the end, for that, and getting Wisser in and getting Valtemada in for very little kind of net...
00:11:20
Nick Britten
Net spend is a good deal. As Sula, the deal for Frankfurt is you look apparently £28 million for a player who cost them £10 million pounds when he signed from a couple of years ago.
00:11:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm. Hasn't really...
00:11:34
Nick Britten
And that was ridiculous. You know, because couple of months ago, put it like this, and you and I know this, Ken, because we were watching him.
00:11:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
How many games did he add? He cut his handful again, didn't he?
00:11:41
Nick Britten
Just before he signed for Newcastle for £10 million, pounds he couldn't get a game in League One at Derby.
00:11:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Yeah.
00:11:48
Nick Britten
So and we know that the whole move to Newcastle was around PSR rather than actual value. But if Newcastle get £28 million pounds on him, if they sell him, if it if that deal gets done, that's a good return on their investment.
00:12:01
Nick Britten
They might just loan him and with a recall clause in case they get injuries. But yeah, I still feel that Newcastle a bit short in the striker department. I still feel they should get, they need one more body in. But hey, Wissler in and Vultimata in is a very good start for them.
00:12:15
Nick Britten
And, uh, they've got to be They've got to be content. If not delirious, they've got to be content.
00:12:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
Interesting how the Stran Larsson thing went cold. Do you think that was, do you think Wolves are just playing too too hard a bargain there? Or do you think literally Wolves said, we can't afford to lose Stran Larsson.
00:12:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
We just can't afford to lose him because we're going down anyway. He's our only chance. ah or you So do you think that was a tactical decision um on the part of Wolves, or do you think they just he just asked for too much and Newcastle said, no, he ain't worth that?
00:12:48
Nick Britten
and maybe Maybe a bit of both. it should be worth saying it is now 7 o'clock. The window has just, in the last few seconds, closed. Transfer window in the UK and all around Europe, other than Turkey, has shut. So that is it. And we wait to see what deals were done in the very last few moments.
00:13:08
Nick Britten
Yeah, to answer your question, Ken, we don't know.
00:13:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hmm.
00:13:11
Nick Britten
it may be that Newcastle looked at it and said, in the end, it's too much. We've got Wissler in, we've got Valtimarder in, that'll do us. It may be that Wolves just simply said in the end, no, which is not going to do Wolves have signed a striker, by the way, and I wondered whether that might facilitate ah bit of merry-go-round.
00:13:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:13:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:13:29
Nick Britten
Yeah, they've bought in Tolu Arakadare from Genk in £23.5 million. pounds So they have it added to their front line. And I wonder whether that would move the dial on Stran Larsson, but doesn't look to have done
00:13:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
and to It's been getting quite chilly on that deal, I think, for the course of the last couple of days, actually. You just found the temperature.
00:13:50
Nick Britten
It has. I mean, he didn't he didn't play at the weekend.
00:13:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
How about you just, my last one?
00:13:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, you did it quite.
00:13:57
Nick Britten
And he was he was injured and we didn't know whether he was injured or whether he had a dose of transfer window-itis and was going to be on his way somewhere. I think that fuelled the fire quite a lot.
00:14:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hmm.
00:14:08
Nick Britten
But yeah, no movement on that, ah really.
00:14:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, interesting. BBC have just put out that they're still awaiting confirmation of about 15 or so other Premier League signings. So there could be there could be a lot of stuff just still that we don't know about, which is which is happening as we talk.
00:14:27
Nick Britten
Well, we're following it at the moment. And the first the first one to drop is at Sellhurst
Crystal Palace's £21 Million Signing of JD Canvert
00:14:30
Nick Britten
Park, actually. Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of JD Canvert from Toulouse in a £21 million pound deal. A 19-year-old signs a four-year deal at Sellhurst Park. So that's the first of the ones that are dripping through.
00:14:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Interesting. So a couple of other things to mention. goalkeepers Goalkeepers in Manchester, specifically. We'll deal with the United one first. Obviously, we've seen the difficulties ah that Man United have had in the goalkeeper department for quite a few seasons now.
00:15:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
Selly Lammond's bargain. I think 18 million plus a few add-ons. ah It's quite a risky one because he's not, he's not you know, world a world-class keeper. They've pulled away, obviously, from Martinez for whatever reason. That might have been Villa saying no. but But so what you make that particular deal?
00:15:20
Nick Britten
No, Martinez is going to go. Martinez is going to go. He's going to go to Galatasaray, think.
00:15:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Right. Okay.
00:15:27
Nick Britten
ah So, yeah, mark it's not it's not a oh no mar is pretty like it was Manchester United's decision not to pursue Martinez.
00:15:37
Nick Britten
They see, what's his name? is of named rocker rat ah laman sunny laman's right They see him as the preferred option.
00:15:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
Lamens.
00:15:47
Nick Britten
He's 23 years old. He's cheaper. He's a lot cheaper than Martinez, certainly and both in ah transfer fee and wages. But, He's only played one season at Royal Antwerp in the first team.
00:15:59
Nick Britten
He's young. He's inexperienced. He's certainly inexperienced at Premier League level. So, yeah, it's a gamble without a shadow of a doubt.
00:16:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's a huge gamble because as we as we were talking about at the weekend, the weight of that Manchester United shirt is just not like the weight of other shirts right now.
00:16:05
Nick Britten
It's a gamble.
00:16:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Absolute spotlight on you if you're the keeper. You just have to make one mistake and the world is going to descend on you like like a ton of bricks.
00:16:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I wish him well. I think he's believed to be a you know very, very good keeper. ah Courtois speaks very highly of him. ah So good luck to him. But that's ah that's a very, very interesting move. I suspect he's going to be playing in Man United Colours pretty quickly, maybe straight after the international break.
00:16:41
Nick Britten
Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. It's a difficult one, that, because he may just need a couple of games. Of course, the international break, nobody's training properly. everybody Everybody's out and about.
00:16:52
Nick Britten
He may need a couple of games to get settled in. and may but They may still bring in Tom Heaton to play in those couple of games, which is a real condemnation, isn't it?
00:16:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
wouldn't that be
00:17:01
Nick Britten
It's a real condemnation on ah on the likes of Anana and Bay and Deer. But that's the way it goes.
00:17:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
just finishing that point no no no no and and and that was going to be my point actually I mean what is the pecking order of keepers at Man United now
00:17:10
Nick Britten
No suggestion, by the way. No suggestion that a non is on his way anywhere. So...
00:17:20
Nick Britten
Well, you're not going to spend... Well, no, put it like this. There is a reason they pursued Senna's. There's a reason.
00:17:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:17:26
Nick Britten
If they were happy with Inanna or Bayon Deer, then they wouldn't have pursued Senna's. They wouldn't be buying anybody. They wouldn't be a goalkeeper on transfer deadline day. So that tells you probably everything you need to know.
00:17:39
Nick Britten
I would expect him to be given his opportunity as first choice.
00:17:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hmm.
00:17:42
Nick Britten
And if he takes it, I expect him to become the first choice. If he doesn't, well, shirt's up for grabs again, isn't it?
00:17:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yes, it is. Now, on the other side, this is the interesting development in its own. Right. Obviously, Man City have picked Gianni Rigi Donnarumma. Where does that leave your man from ex-Burnley?
00:18:04
Nick Britten
Oh, Trafford, well, on the bench is the answer to that because, again, you're not going to bring in a Champions League winner like Donnarumma and not a play him.
00:18:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Trafford. Yeah.
00:18:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:18:16
Nick Britten
But it's an interesting signing this because he's not known for being a kind of... Pep Guardiola type of player, i.e. centre-half wearing goalkeeper gloves and a goalie shirt.
00:18:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, exactly. not we
00:18:28
Nick Britten
you know Guardiola likes players, goalkeepers who can play with their feet, and he isn't that necessarily. So I think it means obviously Edison will leave, but I don't know. Maybe maybe maybe it'll be up for grabs.
00:18:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
Where does that leave Trafford though?
00:18:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Do you think Trafford's sitting there thinking, I could have got a first team, a regular first team place here. And three weeks, three weeks into the season, suddenly um might not get a game.
00:18:56
Nick Britten
Well, that's life, I'm afraid. Unfortunately, that is the lot of the goalkeeper. It's not like any other position on the football pitch where you can come in and fill in and do something else or what have you.
00:18:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm.
00:19:06
Nick Britten
it's a half It's a hard life being a number two. But he so he decided and he chose to leave Burnley and go back to Manchester City. He must have known. must have known, even with Edison there, that he's fighting for his jersey.
00:19:19
Nick Britten
i would like I would hope that Guardiola just says to them both, right, yeah it's up for grabs, lads. It's up for grabs. But Champions
00:19:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
I'm not sure Donnarumma would have moved without some kind of...
00:19:31
Nick Britten
League winner against somebody who's never played in the Premier League, you know I would expect to see Donnarumma take the jersey and the draft just going have to live with And that's a shame because it's not going to do his England prospects any good, is
00:19:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think Donnarumma's probably number one jersey. OK.
00:19:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, it isn't. And we need Trafford. ah So Global Sports Podcast Network has partnered with Bionique, the world's most personalized supplements, because your body is unique. Who would you say, Nicholas, has had the best transfer window? And who has had the worst transfer window in the Premier League, club-wise?
00:20:38
Nick Britten
Well, I think there's only one winner in the best, isn't it? And it has to be Liverpool.
00:20:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:20:42
Nick Britten
It just has to be. i mean, they've brought in so many good players. And to add it all, Isaac and we'll wait to hear on Gehi. We just don't know.
00:20:52
Nick Britten
But I would expect him. I would expect them to sign Gehi. So that, I would say. And and and actually, conversely... I worry for Oliver Glasner.
00:21:03
Nick Britten
I worry for Crystal Palace because for the second year running, they've lost two very influential players.
00:21:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Yeah.
00:21:09
Nick Britten
So last year it was Michael Alise and Joachim Andersen. This year it's Eberic Yeze and potentially Gehi. If Gehi goes to Liverpool, I wonder where that leaves Oliver Glasner.

Nick Britten
because he's been very vocal in recent days, very vocal on Palace's transfer strategy and their activity.
00:21:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
yep
00:21:31
Nick Britten
And he's scratched his head as, look, everybody expected Gahey. Right, so the minute Gahey goes public, if you like, tells Palace he's not signing a contract,
00:21:44
Nick Britten
you go and get a replacement because you know he's going to go somewhere or you know you've got to sell him it's your only opportunity to recoup some money. And that just hasn't been done. i mean, we brought you news in the last couple of minutes, ah haven't we, about them signing a defender ah from France.
00:22:02
Nick Britten
ah That's J.D. Campbell from Toulouse. he'll go into the defence. But It all seems a bit last minute and a bit panicky. Obviously, you had the Hugo Giulia story earlier on. He was expected decide Palace, but doesn't look like that's going to happen there.
00:22:17
Nick Britten
So I worry for them and I worry for Glasner and i want I wonder what's going to happen there. And my as i was driving as I was driving into GSPN Towers to do this podcast, my my conspiratorial brain...
00:22:31
Nick Britten
was thinking I wonder if the first transfer outside the transfer window will be Oliver Glasner to Manchester United when they get rid of you-know-who.
00:22:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah Wow, wow, wow. Maybe, maybe. i wouldn't put much i I wouldn't be surprised if he entered Forrest or something like that. But anyway, we shall see. He's very well thought of.
00:22:51
Nick Britten
Well, this is... Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:22:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
Very, very well thought And I think the anarchist might be more like him.
00:22:56
Nick Britten
I don't know. ah just think the... I just, yeah, yeah, maybe, Mayor Forrest may be a good shout. just sense that, I just sense that, that Ruben Amarin is on such thin ice at Manchester United, it won't take long for it to crack fully and for him to p plunge into the ice gold waters of the Job Centre.
00:23:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:23:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, my word. Of the Manchester Ship Canal.
00:23:15
Nick Britten
What, and too much And what a great signing. I mean, Glasner's proved himself now in the Premier League. He's proved himself at Red Bull before.
00:23:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, no question.
00:23:27
Nick Britten
He's won trophies. He's a very, very, very good manager. And I must feel, I just feel sorry for him.
00:23:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
He's a very, very good mannequin.
00:23:32
Nick Britten
I really feel sorry for him because he must feel that he's had the rug pulled from underneath his feet.
00:23:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Indeed, indeed. i Just to say an honourable mention in terms of worst transfer windows for Premier League teams, I think has got to go to Brentford, who seem to have been stripped of all talent, including their manager.
00:23:41
Nick Britten
And you've got Gary Rendeva.
00:23:52
Nick Britten
Yes. Yep. yep
00:23:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
Over the course of the whole of the transfer window, they've simply been denuded of any prospects or chances whatsoever of staying in the Premier League.

00:25:37

And it's going to make for some very interesting fantasy football football selections, I think, in in the games that start in two weeks' time, especially unit. Right.
00:25:48
Nick Britten
but Well, funny enough, I signed Gehi and Eze when they were at Palace, knowing they were going to go to Arsenal.

00:25:56

00:25:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:25:59
Nick Britten
I mean, it look, it doesn't mean say I've got any points out of anybody. i'm rubbish at it. But it was a smart move.
