Biblical Story: David and Saul

And this time we are looking at 1 Samuel 26. In 1 Samuel 26, David has the opportunity to kill Saul. Saul and his men are put under a supernatural sleep by God. And David had the chance to take Saul's life.

But he is the hero of the story. so obviously he is not going to just kill a man while he is asleep without the Lord's say-so.
Spiritual Weapons in the Bible

But this got me thinking about all the different weapons of spiritual warfare that God has made available to us.

And so often when we pray, we do not even consider them. For instance, in Isaiah 66, 15, we're told about the chariots of God.

You know, the heavenly host. Sure, they have wings, but, you know, they also have chariots and they've got flaming horses. You can call down chariots of God into the situations that you're facing, into the challenges that you're facing.

Deuteronomy 28.28 talks about how God can send madness, blindness, and confusion against your enemies.

If you find that you're really struggling with fear or trauma or depression, you do not have to play second fiddle to those spirits.
Invoking Spiritual Forces

Instead, you can say, I declare madness, blindness, and confusion right now into the enemy's camp. Every evil spirit assigned against me now becomes crazed, loses the plot, loses their mind, cannot see me,

They are blind to my existence, but instead they now start to attack each other.

Isaiah 14, 23 talks about the broom of destruction, okay? Just like you're sweeping. That the Lord has a brush that can just sweep your enemies away.

Then there's the light of Jesus in John 1, 4 to 5. and the weapons of the heavenly host and the weapons of the heavenly realm are made of a substance of light you can declare that those light weapons are then sent to your defense sent to help you out in isaiah 11 4 we're told with the power of the breath of god you can say, God, breathe on my spiritual enemies right now and blow them away.

Isaiah 30, 20 tells us about the waters of affliction. You know, many demons operate in the water. When Satan and his team first rebelled and consequently fell, the earth was a ball of water, so they fell into a ball of water. And therefore that's how you have, like, Leviathan spirits, for instance. It's how you have spirits of Dagon in 1 Samuel.

um Everywhere you go around the world, you'll see god and goddess sculptures beside rivers and lakes, seas and oceans. Even today, they're properly worshipped by occultists, witches and warlocks.

Describing Biblical Weapons

screwed. No, he can send tremors into those waters. He can send earthquakes into those waters. He can send greater waters to thrash and crash into the empire of darkness that has risen against you.

In Exodus 9, he sent boils on the wicked Egyptians, and we're also told later on that the afflictions that the Egyptians suffered, slave drivers suffered, was actually a picture in the natural of what was happening in the supernatural.

that the effects and the dastardly plagues afflicting slave-driver Egyptians were also poured out on the demonic gods of Egypt. So therefore, you can declare heavenly boils against the demons that rise up against you.

In Judges 3.16, we're told about daggers. You can declare that your spiritual enemies get daggered to shreds. Right through the eyes, underneath their fingernails, or in their case, claws.

Hundred thousand in their tongues, if you feel that they're hissing in your ear and whispering wicked things at you or conniving against you. Demons don't like you.

They hate you. They're intent on destroying you so that they get die. um receive rewards and riches and positions.

And if they've let their masters down the past, well, they will be forgiven, but perhaps certain tortures on their end can be lessened by their own side, and they might be given a higher platform for having taken you down.

So it's okay to be vicious in your prayers. It's okay to be bloodthirsty when you're declaring and praying against evil spirits. We don't use these against people. We're called to love people, to forgive people.

But against evil spirits, the violent take it by force.
Prayer as a Weapon

2 Kings 13.17 tells us about the arrow of deliverance, that you can send forth an arrow from heaven to secure your deliverance and to take out your enemies.

And if you send that, if you release that, I guarantee you it will be a bullseye. Genesis 3, 24 talks about a flaming sword. It's like in The Lord the Rings, The Return of the King, when the witch king, leader of the Nazgûls, holds up his sword and the blade becomes fire. That is a biblical image.

And that weapon is on our side. We see the cherubim waving it ah so that humans and later on the Nephilim and Geburim would not be able to make their way to the Garden of Eden.

But you know what? We have no reason to believe heaven only has one.

Then Deuteronomy thirty two thirty five talks about the vengeance of God, and we can engage that on our behalf. because God absolutely loads the Empire of Darkness and what they do against people, how they mobilize against people, how they do everything they can to steal, kill, and destroy.

And you can declare that God will avenge you. He will be your avenger or your revenger. Another word for this is the wrath of God in Psalm 59, 13.

His wrath against wicked people is being stored up until the day of judgment. But my goodness, the war in the supernatural is always raging, and he despised it.

psalm 1813 talks about the frequency of the voice of the most high god and you can declare that the frequencies of god shriek and cause the enemy's camp to tremble with terror to fall apart to lose their minds to go bat crap cray cray to deafen them to make their heads explode you can't kill demons but my goodness you can make them hurt

Psalm 116 talks about the burning wind.
Protection Through Angels and Scripture

You can pray that a burning wind come and afflict the evil spirits that have risen up against you.

Psalm 91.11 says that God's angels surround us round about, above and below, and against every dimensional access point.

You can declare that they become gatekeepers over every portal, specifically screens, hello, on your phone, on televisions, on laptops, many different objects in your home.

Ones you're responsible for and can destroy, can bin, can smash with armor, can throw the fire, and ones that maybe you can't, they're the property of other people affiliated with you.

But you can still declare that angels stand guard over them and hack two pieces and cut down to size anything demonic that would come out of them.

Revelation 12, 11 talks about the blood of Jesus. An amazing weapon. Imagine the blood of Jesus being like battery acid against the enemy. Imagine putting battery acid in your ear. Don't do it. Just imagine serious yowza.

And now imagine the blood of Jesus only it's a million times more powerful, being lashed upon your spiritual enemies. It's another great weapon to avail of. The blood of Jesus is protective.

There's a preventative element there, but it's also a weapon when the enemy has got in. In Ephesians 6, 17, we're told that the word of God, the Bible, Scripture, is the sword of the Spirit.

So even as you're praying against the enemy's camp, spirits of trauma, Jezebel, Absalom, Leviathan, you can start declaring Bible verses.

Whip out bloody gory ones from Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. Send them into the enemy's camp, and picture, because this is happening, those words as swords flying through the supernatural realm, attacking your enemy.
Empowerment Against Evil

In Revelation 4.5, we're told about heavenly lightning. In Job 9.6, earthquakes. And in Job 9.7, God can even stop the sun and the stars from shining.

So you can declare that they move around in total darkness. They're totally unable to see. They've been blinded. that the earth beneath them, the ground beneath them, the levels and platforms beneath them start to shake and they topple to the ground, falling flat on their face, their face square on the pavement, and that they get and that they get stricken by lightning, the same lightning bolt that threw them into heaven in the first place.

And Ephesians 6.18, six eighteen tells us about prayer. When you're going through a hard time, don't run around telling every Harry, Dick, and Tom about your problems.

Pray. Praying is a weapon. Praying is warfare. It's one of the greatest weapons that we have. And probably the one that, to be honest, we should be using the most. Isaiah 59, 17 talks about garments of vengeance.

You know, we know the armor of God pretty well. If you don't, I made a video on it, which you can click on at the end of this video. And the garments of vengeance are equally powerful.

The armor, again, is protective. But when you have been attacked, just say, God, I'm putting on the garments of vengeance. I'm putting on a weapon of warfare. I'm going into this battle. And may the enemy see those garments and be terrified. Garments of vengeance is not an expression. It's not a metaphor.

In the heavenly realm, it is real.

In the same verse, Isaiah 59, 17, it talks about wearing a robe of divine passion. Not being apathetic, not being lazybones, not being passive, not sitting on the sidelines. We were born into a world at war, and we have a part to play in that war.

And it's a fight God knows we can win. ah You know, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a cute movie. It's got some really key scenes, some really amazing, iconic scenes. And there's one song where Frollo, the villain, sings that it's not his fault, that God made the devil so much stronger than a man.

It's a cool scene, it's a scary scene, but that line is theologically inaccurate. You are more powerful than demons. In fact, the Bible even says that if you resist the devil, he will flee from you.

He will scurry, he will run away with his tail between his legs.

So have to have passion. Zeal. Be adamant that you will be about the Father's business, whatever that is. Not hiding away, not sitting on a shelf.

Righteous Living and Divine Intervention

Luke 2.13 tells us about the heavenly hosts. They were released on the earth um as Jesus was born, and they were singing and declaring. I'm sure it was beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

But just as... The heavenly realm was mobilized to protect the newborn king in the same way they are still on the prowl today, looking for the enemy, hunting the enemy and tearing them down. Whatever the archangel Michael, Jesus, and Father God send them, there they are. But they hearken to the word of God. And I believe that if you are living righteously,

and you're facing opposition and challenges, you can declare that they will help you and they will. Some people don't like that. In that case, ask God to send them to help you and they will.

Jeremiah 5120 talks about a battle axe, the battle axe of the Lord. Whatever enemies are coming against you, declare that there's a battle axe in your hand and you are striking them down.

Even act it out. Why not? Then two more. Romans 12, 20 talks about burning coals.

Now, in the context of humans, we're told to pour born burning coals in their head in terms of love. In terms love. honour, in terms of forgiveness.

Not that we're we let people walk all over us, but that we actually choose with an act of our will to show Christ's love for the unlovable people in our world. Against the enemy, declare that burning coals, fiery coals, fall on top of them and bury them, suffocate them, burn them to a pulp and burn them to ashes.

The verse that started all of this teaching is 1 Samuel 26, 12. twenty six twelve A deep sleep. And you can declare that a deep sleep fall upon your enemies. And this is one you can pray against people as well.

I know a situation where a Christian woman and had a child, and she'd had the child with a man who was not God's choice, shall we say, and they weren't married.

um But... He had been doing everything he could to destroy her and try to get the child back and the court system and the yada, yada, yada. And she said, Lord, I'm the object of your favor, of your attention, and I need you to help me.

And then what happened was he would fall into a deep sleep every single morning that the court cases were taking place, and he would always rock up late, or not at all, that God was putting him to sleep.
Strategies for Personal Spiritual Struggles

You can pray that against your human enemies. You can pray this against demons. Spirits, we have no reason to believe spirits sleep in and of themselves in the Bible.

But I believe that the word of God is amazing. And if you have faith for it, it can happen and within reason, within God's, the realm of God's will.

And if your enemies are coming against you, you can declare that they fall into a deep sleep and they drop on the ground right here, right now, and they get nowhere in near you. They don't hiss against you. They do not wrap around you. They do not coil around you. They do not suffocate you. They are beaten and defeated. And even if you're a child of God, but maybe you're struggling with a certain sin issue, a recurring sin issue, a recurring thought pattern or addiction,

The soul has layers. So you can even pray that against yourself. You can say, God, whatever layer of my soul right now is craving that addiction, put it into a deep sleep.

Whatever layer of my soul is addicted to trauma, is a trauma whore, loves being traumatized, put that layer to sleep right now.

God, whatever layer of my soul loves scandal, loves drama, loves gossip, loves consternation. Put that layer to sleep right now, to a deep sleep.

And then you send it up into the courts of heaven, and you say, God, speak to that layer of my soul. Make it clean. Bring it into alignment with you. Course correction, please.

And then you say, Lord, if that layer of my soul will submit to you, bring it back, reconstitute my heart and my mind. If that layer of my soul wants to live in rebellion, well, you send it where you want to send it and you do what you want to do with it.

So these are just some of the weapons that we've been given by God in our fight against the forces of evil.
Conclusion: Engaging in Spiritual Warfare

and the case of soul parts or layers of souls, even the war against ourselves.

So stop when you're praying, oh, saying, oh, Jesus, please fix this. Oh, please do that. Oh, please remove that from me. Get out that situation. helloda There are fights you have been called to fight. We're in a world at war. It started before we were sent. It will continue after you hear dead and gone and no one remembers our names.

But in the here and now, in the present, in the time we have, we can win. God trusts us too. 1 Corinthians 13 says love is patient, love is kind, love blah blah blah blah, and one of them is love always trusts and love never fails, but God is love.

that means God is patient. God is kind. God is compassionate. God keeps no record of your wrongs. And God himself always trusts. God trusts you to do this. He trusts you to fight the good fight of faith and to win.

So be encouraged by this. Start praying and using your spiritual artillery. It is there for you, so why wouldn't you use it?
