Mary's Day and Spiritual Reflection
00:10:31
Speaker
The end of the day is a very good day.
00:11:32
Speaker
I'm going to go to the next one.
00:12:15
Speaker
I'm going to go to the next one.
00:23:14
Speaker
Hi there, Mary. How are you?
00:23:27
Speaker
Good morning, morning. Thanks for going. Well, for you, it's afternoon, I suppose. is. Yeah. How's your day been so far?
00:23:40
Speaker
Good. Love and good. Guys, what have you gotten up to?
00:23:48
Speaker
Okay, so I woke up really late. i had my breakfast. I talked to a friend and prayed for her. And then i was reading...
00:24:00
Speaker
Is my word tickling? No, can hear you perfectly. Okay. Okay. So I was reading scripture on faith, like God's faithfulness. Yeah.
00:24:16
Speaker
That's what I was doing before this. It feels like you began praying for people on Saturday last week and you just haven't stopped. Yeah.
00:24:34
Speaker
And I was like, your prayers were definitely answered. The revival was amazing.
Revival Experiences and Spiritual Breakthroughs
00:24:41
Speaker
Yeah, I've been in revival ministry probably since 2014, maybe? and And I have to say, i have never seen things break off people with such rapidity and haste.
00:25:03
Speaker
I think for the first revival we threw nine months ago, back in June, the one for the visa that didn't come through in time, um i think people came very suspiciously.
00:25:15
Speaker
The Irish have been browbeaten and bullied by all manner of counterfeit Christianity for centuries. So very, very suspicious people.
00:25:26
Speaker
Very. i Came suspiciously, loved it, God moved. I found in November people came... casually more laid-back which is good but it took them two or three worship songs to really get in the flow of would i look odd was what God was doing and wanted to do but no I think people came ready this time ran ready for something explosive they came desperate think that was the word i would say and
00:25:58
Speaker
They came in their desperation and desperate for a touch from the Lord, which is a winning combination. a So, yeah, amazing. and Amazing. not totally and And then I went to a discipleship course yesterday, as I told you.
00:26:15
Speaker
And some of the people there had actually been to the revival. um It was actually one of them was the one who invited me to their event. So, yeah.
00:26:27
Speaker
I thought that the polite, mannerly, appreciative thing to do would be to go to their event. and And even just to hear the continued effects of him that encounter with Jesus as the week went on was amazing.
00:26:44
Speaker
a Deep, deep forgiveness. Forgiving people who'd wronged them decades earlier. And then people in their world that they had literally just forgiven.
00:26:57
Speaker
were then like, hey, 20, 30 years ago, I said this, I did this, this happened to you, and I didn't respond the way I should have. Have you forgiven me? Just amazing. Amazing.
00:27:08
Speaker
But just the the continued aftershocks and aftermath, which is what it's supposed to be. It's not supposed to be event Christianity. It's not supposed to be a day.
00:27:19
Speaker
And it's supposed to accelerate people into the Holy Spirit flow for their lives. So yeah, that was good.
00:27:30
Speaker
Amazing. Any more miracles with the babies in the hospital or did you weigh finally cap it?
00:27:43
Speaker
Was it Friday when I had a baby?
00:27:48
Speaker
it was a Friday then, no, none since then because I off work. Nice.
00:27:56
Speaker
Okay, who knows what I'm saying? Nice quick holds.
00:28:02
Speaker
I did get, like, I had a follow-up patient and all the follow-up patients that I saw in my clinic, like, they all were well. Like, I i asked them, is there any problems? and They were like, no.
00:28:13
Speaker
But they were coming with so many problems. And was like, thank God, it was so good. And I would tell them that God, you too.
00:28:25
Speaker
Amazing. Amazing. Wow. know, listen, God's using it mightily there, just like he told you he would in that dream months ago. And it's amazing that you can... you can see now just how what seemed like such a a... bizarre, wonderful, and impossible word back then, just how easily he can bring it about, bring you those opportunities.
00:28:51
Speaker
And all you need to do is be, uh...
00:28:56
Speaker
Humble and brave enough to be obedient. Humble enough to say, God can do this. Brave enough to say, he's gonna do this through me.
00:29:07
Speaker
And to let your SBS.
00:29:13
Speaker
Amazing. Good morning, dear Jo, how are you? Good morning, Brian. How are you? I'm great. I'm always great. wish I had. Jo, how could I be anything different?
00:29:34
Speaker
That's it. Sorry, you kind of broke up a little bit. Say that again. Oh, I don't know what's going on in my room, Brendan. This is very bad. Oh, that happens to me sometimes too. Yeah, it can be bit annoying.
00:29:47
Speaker
Is it all right now? It's better than it had been. Right. i just to Even after my face time, I feel like What's wrong with your phone?
00:29:59
Speaker
There's an echo. Okay, yeah, they can be very annoying. Yeah, sure. Is the echo on my end? Well, i no, I can't hear the echo on my end. You you break up every few syllables, but there there's no echo, no.
00:30:20
Speaker
Is that fair? Yeah, say like a really long sentence. Like, my name is Deirdre and I'm a child of a living God. And I'll tell you. My name is Deirdre and I'm a child of a living God.
00:30:34
Speaker
That was 90%, Grace.
00:30:39
Speaker
10% the enemy trying to screw you over. But I understand most of what you're saying. I'm a Bible. I got to worry about that.
00:30:57
Speaker
How are you? dear yo lee Lisa, did you address that a lot to you? Hi, Rama. It's great to see you, man. Yeah, I just missed that I supposed to come in with a camera and, and you know, and and microphone and being like, I was so shut. thought, oh.
00:31:13
Speaker
I started saying hello and nobody
00:31:19
Speaker
We're all like playing a game, just like ignore him. Pretend he's not there. Yeah, just realize that he's all... but He contributes too much. Ignore him. How you guys?
00:31:33
Speaker
Really great. Really, really great. he' Enjoying my first week on the unemployment line.
00:31:43
Speaker
no, I... That's good, Brent. Oh, it it has been. It has been. Um... No, I'm excited for a change of pace, and for something different, new new adventures, whatever that looks like. um And yeah, um Friday would have been my my ninth work anniversary, actually.
00:32:06
Speaker
And probably my, don't know, maybe my tenth or eleventh year teaching. name But yeah. No, I have to I just talked a very deep piece about walking away from that.
00:32:23
Speaker
Thanks. And stepping into something new. So I went in on Friday and collected my boxes and all my folders, you know, the decades worth of a activities, just in case I ever circle back to at some point in the future.
00:32:39
Speaker
a But no, excited for for what's ahead. Very much so. Yeah. Amen. Amen.
00:32:53
Speaker
Alright guys, any other testimonies for the week before we enter into a time of worship and the words? Has God done anything particularly noteworthy in your lives? Or you're praying for someone else and God's really moved in their life?
00:33:13
Speaker
and Ash and Brendan. Yes. a Suicide. Bloodlap.
00:33:25
Speaker
And went down the other night.
00:33:30
Speaker
What is that echo? And my mum says to me, can you hear me?
00:33:47
Speaker
The echo is right from what? I'll get it. Star Wars.
00:33:54
Speaker
if Like a Star Wars droid. Okay,
00:34:00
Speaker
okay hopefully when she lugs back in again, that will fix the problem.
00:34:06
Speaker
What you, Ramos? Any testimonies from the week? To be honest, apart from, you know, like attacks and all that, not that much, you know? Hmm.
00:34:20
Speaker
I was just asking, you know, do I do enough, you know, do I move enough? No, it's got just... The only answer is wait.
00:34:30
Speaker
People trying to push me in some more, you know, I could see that.
00:34:36
Speaker
And we're still in the season of trials, I think.
00:34:41
Speaker
But yeah, all the time, sometimes it's frustrating, you listen to them sinners and you think... Oh dear. I bet not even here that now. They gossiped like five meters away. I changed it and I thought... Because I can't stay with them. i can't listen to them. I just listen to them and I just look away. I can't listen for for for too long, you know. It just makes me tired. I know.
00:35:07
Speaker
But at the end, you know, I had to create a beach environment, so... what is good doing you know let him do and finish whatever he he does you know yeah because i always you know do i need to maybe preach more we go wait the only answer i got wait it's not your time wait don't rush the thing is enough and it looks like oh god now who will say that but i could see where the doors are shutting me there shut you now we can't undo them
00:35:57
Speaker
yeah yeah and yet he was able to hear an echo on your end, I think. who Okay, very strange. there's no
00:36:07
Speaker
Can you hear me? Hi, Brent. ah Again, you're still cutting out to every few syllables. Terrible. um Yeah. Don't worry about it. You're you're you're okay. You're fine. What?
00:36:22
Speaker
What's that? Do we need to reconnect to ah so i or? Yeah,
00:36:35
Speaker
yeah well, Ramas, what I would say to you is God has a funny way of putting just the right people in your path at just the right time. and Like I know at work, I'm gonna say most Christians feel this way and in the word're in the workplace, in a secular environment.
00:36:54
Speaker
The gossip and the nonsense and the things that people think are important that just aren't. It does kind grate on your brain and your spirit. But I remember one colleague rocking up, just kind of when I was really beginning to think, I need a career change.
00:37:13
Speaker
um there was something about her that i just said there's there's something special about this one and i whenever i looked at got the word christian but now she would use g's as a cuss word or a couple things she said i was like but when i looked at her i just got the word christian and i just said okay god i'm gonna I'm going to start asking some strategic questions little by little bit by bit.
00:37:38
Speaker
And then eventually it turned out that she had been a Christian. She had been a church goer. And actually, i think at one point she may even have led worship at an event i was at years earlier. um And then i just brought the conversation with her one day about Christ.
00:37:58
Speaker
And basically came up that as what, All of us at one point or another, I'm sure she had been deeply hurt by other Christians and it had really put a bad taste in her mouth.
00:38:13
Speaker
But um i had a conversation with her and you know, ah it's unfortunate that we have to do this, but had the Christians don't always reflect Jesus very well conversation.
00:38:24
Speaker
And we should be able to say a follow me as I follow Christ. But sadly, that's not always the case. And um when I said this to her and we had a conversation, she said, you know what?
00:38:37
Speaker
I'm going to go back to church on Sunday. Maybe a different church family, but I'm going to go back. And now she is just totally and utterly sold out for Jesus and in love with him and serving him. And even if in the midst of my frustration, when I really wanted a career shift, if God kept me there just for her.
00:38:56
Speaker
And that's a big if. I'm sure he did more than that. But if it was just for her, if she was the only one he had on his mind, it was worth it to get her back into a reconciled relationship with him.
00:39:10
Speaker
So um I would say even in a place of frustration, even in a place where you're like, God, just why? And it's not about you staying somewhere longer, but God keeping you there. and He knows why.
00:39:24
Speaker
And it could be things that you will pray into And you might never hear the testimony. You might never get the applause on the earth. Someone might never come and say, Ramas, you prayed and God did this.
00:39:36
Speaker
But so long as you remain with your ears open to God and just praying whenever, whatever Holy Spirit leads, whenever he leads. And when you get to heaven, that book of deeds will be opened up.
00:39:51
Speaker
And um I believe that you will actually see the fruit of these moments. far more colourfully, vibrantly and appreciatively than you could ever have imagined. So I know it can be frustrating, but you just hang in there, keep your eyes on Jesus and his timing and his lead. I know it's not easy and I know it's one of last thing Zainun wants to hear. Yeah. here you know when i When I thought, you know, of the right class you know and I was falling really deep and really bad, you know, opened many doors, you know, to demonic influences and that.
00:40:35
Speaker
Oh, dear. Just after two or three years, I still remember what I've done then and it's like eating, eating, eating. But I think without that,
00:40:48
Speaker
probably you can't go for like as um you know it's independent on the opinion of people they will be eating and that's who they are and sometimes it's frustrating you would like to do some pretty decent but like from 10 people two or three a little bit more careful than to spit out words and down think what they said
00:41:15
Speaker
Yeah, so that's that. Yeah, I know. I know.
00:41:22
Speaker
Hi there, Kitty. You're very welcome. Oh, thanks, man. How are you? Great to see you. You too. For those of you haven't met Kitty before, she came to the revival there on Saturday.
00:41:37
Speaker
she lives in Dundalk. She lives in the town where the revival took place. And she's joined, she joined us on Wednesday for a discipleship as well. So Kitty, you're very, very welcome. That's nice. nice Amen.
00:41:51
Speaker
All right, guys, we're have a time of worship. And I'm going to put the song titles on the WhatsApp chat, and then I'll put the videos up there later on So you can of make a little playlist for yourselves.
00:42:11
Speaker
and there then we're going to jump in with the words. um It's been a number of weeks since we last saw what David was getting up to.
00:42:22
Speaker
um We had looked at him for months and months. And then i paused it so we could have a little look at Nimrod and the Tower Babel. But we're going to return to David's story today. and So the songs for today.
00:42:41
Speaker
And the WhatsApp chat are all things are possible. Yahweh will manifest himself. Yeshua, Alpha and Omega, more love and more power.
00:43:24
Speaker
Alright, so if you want to, you can read the... Well, you can sing the lyrics just here on your screen.
00:43:47
Speaker
Lord God, we commit these moments to you. Because you are absolutely good.
00:43:56
Speaker
We love you. We adore you. You are everything to us. And we thank you, God, that you are mighty and you are above every situation. Amen. Right now.
00:44:18
Speaker
Hello, brother. How's it going? How are you doing? Good to see you. How are you doing?
00:44:28
Speaker
what you're drinking the pain to be your running na no forbe
00:44:34
Speaker
Electrolites. That's where I dreamed them a couple of weeks ago and I got sick. Yeah, I have them at home and I said, Jesus, I better start drinking them. If I don't leave them on the counter, I forget all about them. That's exactly as That's all right.
00:44:56
Speaker
Very, very well, thank you. Very, very well. Have you ever been online yet? Yeah, at five or six. So we're just going to jump into a time of worship. There you go, lovely.
00:45:09
Speaker
Alright, so all things are possible the first one.
00:45:23
Speaker
Almighty God. My Redeemer, my hiding place, my safe refuge, no other name like Jesus.
00:45:39
Speaker
No power can stand against you.
Worship and Declarations of Faith
00:45:44
Speaker
My feet are planted on this rock and I will not be shaken.
00:45:55
Speaker
My hope, it comes from you alone, my Lord and my salvation. Your praise is always on my lips.
00:46:11
Speaker
Your word is living in my heart. And I will praise you with a new song. My soul will bless you, Lord.
00:46:27
Speaker
Almighty God, my Redeemer, my hide-in-place, my safe refuge. No other name like Jesus No power can stand against you.
00:46:48
Speaker
Sing that again. Almighty God, my Redeemer, my hide in place, my safe refuge.
00:47:02
Speaker
No other name like Jesus. he No power can stand against you My feet are planted on this rock and I will not be shaken.
00:47:24
Speaker
My hope, it comes from you alone. My Lord and my salvation, your praise is always on my lips.
00:47:40
Speaker
Your word is living in my heart, and I will praise you with a new song. My soul will bless you, Lord.
00:47:56
Speaker
says your word is living in my heart god's word says you are a temple of holy spirit and you are the house of god on the earth the word of god says that you have turned my mourning into dancing the word of god says you are the head and you are not the tail the word of god says that he goes with you and before you, and he encamps around you.
00:48:34
Speaker
The word of God says, for I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a hope and a future, plans to prosper you, plans for you to reach unexpected, anticipated, preordained end.
00:48:53
Speaker
The Word of God says that before the foundation of the earth was lame, he already knew you and chose you. You're not a mistake.
00:49:05
Speaker
You're not an accident. Your place in him is beyond questioning. It is solid. It was predetermined.
00:49:16
Speaker
The Word of God says, let the sick say, I am well. The word God said, let the weak say, I am strong.
00:49:27
Speaker
going to pray this again. I want you to know that he is your safe refuge. Because his word says so.
00:49:38
Speaker
That no power can stand against God. Because he is the almighty one. Almighty God means God of the angel armies, God of the heavenly host, God who is powerful above everyone else, above everything else.
00:49:56
Speaker
And that God, who could spend all of his time looking at planets and black holes and galaxies, if he wanted to, has chosen to call you his friend, his child, and his home.
00:50:17
Speaker
Almighty God, my Redeemer. That means he's brought us back from the enemy by the blood of Jesus. My hiding place, my safe refuge.
00:50:32
Speaker
No other name like Jesus. No power can stand against you.
00:50:44
Speaker
My feet are planted on this rock. Not doing the hokey pokey, not one foot in, one foot out, that's two feet secure in him.
00:50:55
Speaker
And I will not be shaken. Everything that can be shaken right now with the world is being shaken. What is unshakable is what will remain, and that is God's people.
00:51:12
Speaker
My hope it comes from you alone.
00:51:18
Speaker
My Lord and my salvation.
00:51:24
Speaker
Your praise is always on my lips. Once a week isn't good enough. Twice a week won't cut it. Every day brings with it so much evil. This has to be daily, continually.
00:51:39
Speaker
Your word is living in my heart. Don't let the word go in on a Sunday and forget it by a Sunday night. You gotta to keep meditating on the word.
00:51:52
Speaker
And I will praise you with a new song. My soul will bless you, Lord.
00:52:07
Speaker
If you never bless God once in your life, his self-esteem will not be affected. But if you don't bless God, you'll be the one who's negatively impacted.
00:52:23
Speaker
And all things are possible when you know that you know that you know who he is. And you know that you know that you know who you are in him.
00:52:36
Speaker
And you know what that you know that you know what he says about you. What he says is your portion.
00:52:45
Speaker
And what he says about your enemies and how he will deal with them. All things are possible.
00:53:09
Speaker
Amen. And when you know that all things are possible,
00:53:17
Speaker
you will see God present himself to you and operate in your life.
00:53:27
Speaker
So this song is called Yahweh will manifest himself.
00:53:33
Speaker
We've got some Hebrew names for God here. Yahweh is Yah, that's inhaling. Yah, that's exhaling. Yah, that is God's name as two breaths.
00:53:50
Speaker
Yah, inhale, pray exhale. He is the air you breathe. Who is that? am ru him He is the great I am. Exactly. The ever-present, the ever-continual, the ever-continuous, the ever-present, the ever-solid, the ever-assured.
00:54:11
Speaker
Just like you need air to survive, that is so certain, he is the I am who I am He is that solid.
00:54:23
Speaker
Ratha, he is healer. of your body and of your soul, of your will, your heart and your mind.
00:54:39
Speaker
Elohim means a supernatural being, a spirit being. And he is the spirit being of all spirit beings.
00:54:52
Speaker
He is the Elohim of Elohim, he is the God of gods.
00:55:04
Speaker
So Yahweh, he is, i am who I am. He is breath.
00:55:14
Speaker
He is what you inhale. is what you exhale. In him and through him, you have your being.
00:55:26
Speaker
Rafa, he is your healer.
00:55:34
Speaker
Elohim is a spirit being, a God, a supernatural being.
00:55:43
Speaker
Shaddai means mighty. He is God Almighty. He is the sovereign strong. He's all powerful.
00:55:55
Speaker
Jaira, he is your provider.
00:56:03
Speaker
Whether it's finances you're looking for, or a job, or someone to provide emotional healing or stability, whatever it is you need is found in him.
00:56:21
Speaker
And Adonai means the Lord. He is the master. He is boss.
00:56:57
Speaker
Adonai will manifest himself.
00:57:32
Speaker
Adonai will manifest Himself.
00:57:41
Speaker
one more time yeah way rapha
00:57:52
Speaker
hello said I here I had done I woman fast and sound
00:58:22
Speaker
is tangible in this place.
00:58:30
Speaker
Lord, you're doing something great.
00:58:38
Speaker
Awaken supernatural faith.
00:58:54
Speaker
is tangible in this place.
00:59:02
Speaker
Lord, you're doing something great.
00:59:09
Speaker
Awaken supernatural faith.
00:59:40
Speaker
Adonai will manifest himself.
00:59:50
Speaker
and again, Yahweh. Yahweh, Rafa,
01:00:13
Speaker
Adonai will manifest Himself
01:00:29
Speaker
If you worship, He will manifest Himself. If you call Him, He will manifest Himself. If you seek Him, He will manifest Himself.
01:00:50
Speaker
If you worship, He will manifest Himself. If you call him, he will manifest himself.
01:01:03
Speaker
If you seek him, he will manifest himself.
01:01:14
Speaker
If you worship, he will manifest himself. If you call him, he will manifest himself. If you seek him,
01:01:27
Speaker
he will manifest himself.
01:01:36
Speaker
If you worship, he will manifest himself. If you call him, he will manifest himself. If you seek him, he will manifest himself.
01:02:17
Speaker
Adonai will manifest himself.
01:02:49
Speaker
Adonai will manifest himself.
01:03:22
Speaker
Adonai will Himself
01:03:34
Speaker
I see each of our homes. Everywhere you find yourself right now.
01:03:43
Speaker
And I see chimneys on top of those houses.
01:03:48
Speaker
And I see a way, it's like a pathway, like, kind of a curvy shape. full of stars, glittering, shining, twinkling stars.
01:04:01
Speaker
And they're coming down the chimneys and into your home.
01:04:08
Speaker
And what are the purpose of stars? Well, at nighttime, when you can't see something, they illuminate everything, and you can see in the dark. They're like heavenly light bulbs.
01:04:23
Speaker
It's about revelation knowledge. It's about being able to see in the midst of confusion, having clarity in the midst of chaos.
01:04:37
Speaker
And God is saying he is giving his Joshua generation children crystal clear clarity to light up the night.
01:04:52
Speaker
Whatever sicknesses you're going through, whatever challenges you're going through, whatever difficulties, whatever it is you're praying concerning, and you're in a place you didn't think you would find yourself.
01:05:06
Speaker
Or you know he has somewhere bigger and better for you, and you're not there yet. And you're like, God, why am I in this waiting room? Help, seriously, I want out already.
01:05:19
Speaker
He is going to a light it up. Light up your eyes. he is giving crystal clear clarity. He is giving heavenly revelation.
01:05:37
Speaker
might give it through the word. He might give it through a song. He might give it through a conversation. He might it through a dream.
01:05:49
Speaker
He might give it through a vision. You might just start seeing the same numbers everywhere you look on clocks, on signs, in your bank account, on TV, in newspapers, and you look up, you know, a Bible verse that corresponds with those numbers and voila, he speaks.
01:06:09
Speaker
He is going to give you crystal clear revelation and clarity.
01:06:19
Speaker
Because he is a good, good father and he is setting his children up to And
01:06:33
Speaker
he does that because he loves us.
01:06:37
Speaker
Is that from Sos for Sos?
01:06:46
Speaker
Not necessarily, it's just a vision, he's just given me Remus, but... I'm saying the text, the lyrics.
Naomi's Revival Journey
01:06:55
Speaker
The beloved, it would be the i idea the yes, the idea would come from Song of Songs, which is a Bible book written between a husband and wife, but it's a picture, yes, of the Lord's love for his people.
01:07:12
Speaker
And we love him because he first loved us. And we choose him because he first called us.
01:07:20
Speaker
And this song is Yeshua. Yeshua is what in Jesus' day people would have called Jesus. We call him Jesus, but in Jesus' day they would have been like, Yeshua, Yeshua, Yeshua.
01:07:35
Speaker
It looks lot like our name Joshua. Jesus' name is basically Joshua. And it means salvation. He is the one who saves. He's the one who rescues.
01:07:48
Speaker
He's the one who delivers. I thought it was way rescues. Exactly. Rescue, deliver, save, get you out of trouble, you of captivity, get you out of bondage. Exactly.
01:08:06
Speaker
And this is a song to and about Jesus.
01:08:14

Jesus can appear any way he wants. But when he's in heaven, the Bible often describes him as having snow white hair. It can be brown, it can black, whatever wants, he's Jesus.
01:09:23
Speaker
But the Bible usually describes him as having white hair, as having fire in his eyes. The fire of prophecy in his eyes.
01:09:38
Speaker
as having fire in his mouth.
01:09:45
Speaker
His legs are like Brahms. He's like a perfect sculpture.
01:09:55
Speaker
In Revelation, we're told that he holds seven stars in one hand.
01:10:06
Speaker
His throne, at least his chariot's throne, he has a throne with wheels, which how he teleports around the place, around heaven and earth. It's described a throne of sapphire blue.
01:10:19
Speaker
A throne with wheels, and it's made from sapphire. And around his throne, there is an emerald rainbow.
01:10:31
Speaker
a rainbow of green green green, green, green, green and more green.
01:10:41
Speaker
And light radiates from him.
01:10:46
Speaker
And to be in his presence you would melt. You would be overcome and undone by his power, his majesty and his love.
01:11:00
Speaker
And there are no ugly angels. All them are good looking. But Jesus
01:11:07
Speaker
is the supreme. Thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands and millions of angels all around him all the time.
01:11:16
Speaker
But he is. There is no one like him.

Thank you, Jesus.
01:16:47
Speaker
Jesus, I thank you for your love. I thank you for your might. I thank you for your power.
01:16:57
Speaker
I thank you that you desire us on our best day, on our worst day, on our weakest day, on the days when we get it so, so wrong.
01:17:13
Speaker
On the days when we are on the mountain on a Monday and in the valley on a Tuesday.
01:17:26
Speaker
For the times, God, when angels hearken to your word and we, your children, don't.
01:17:34
Speaker
On the days when you speak so blaringly, loudly and clearly, and in our fear or our pride, we choose to just shirk it off, denigrate your word like it's nothing.
01:17:53
Speaker
And still you are committed to us. God, I thank you that you are more committed to us than we are to you. That you are mighty.
01:18:06
Speaker
That you are Alpha and you're Omega and we worship you, our God.
01:18:15
Speaker
I thank you, Lord, for your love. That you are a giver. That you are a healer. That you restorer.
01:18:27
Speaker
that you are solid and unshakable you're the great i am you're never changing you're never failing you're the same yesterday today and forever i thank you for who you are oh god and that you have revealed yourself in your word as you are so that we
01:18:54
Speaker
could sit under your word and glean from your word impart of your word and impart of fellowship with you, communion with you that you call us friends, you call us your children
01:19:13
Speaker
Jesus, I thank you for who you are thank you God that you are absolutely good
01:19:23
Speaker
all of the time. Absolutely good.
01:19:31
Speaker
Thank you Lord Jesus.
01:19:35
Speaker
Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
01:19:54
Speaker
Did anyone receive
01:19:58
Speaker
a word, a scripture, picture, a vision from the Lord over the last number of moments that you'd like to share?
01:20:10
Speaker
not going to manufacture or anything here, but if anyone did receive something from the Lord that they think would behoove the group to hear, this is your space to share that, okay?
01:20:22
Speaker
then we're going to turn to the Word of God for today.
01:20:44
Speaker
Can you guys hear me? Yeah. Do I can echo? yeah i know I can hear you perfectly. okay. Is it like a word for this moment or regarding testimonies of the revival?
01:20:58
Speaker
If you have particular testimony and you think would do people's hearts good to hear it, go for it. God's getting the glory anyway.
01:21:09
Speaker
Or if it was word that you got there during the worship that you'd like to share, that's awesome too. Um...
01:21:18
Speaker
um The main thing was for the the revival because it ended up touching me a lot more than I thought it would.
01:21:30
Speaker
Because um when I first kind of got in, I was thinking about the last revival that I was a part of which was in November, was it? I think. i think And I'll be very honest, I kind of left not so much disappointed, but I did leave a little bit lower than when I came and I knew why.
01:21:50
Speaker
And a lot of it was because that i was in my head a lot and I didn't feel like the beliefs that people had in me was really warranted. and you know, if you don't believe something about yourself, you're going to try and prove yourself right. And so then this revival, made this conscious, almost half-hearted its effort. I said, you know, what and lord and I'm just going to go out of my head.
01:22:11
Speaker
And actually days before Brendan were talking and I was sending him voice messages on the phone. And he had said something about how, I was dealing with a lot of spiritual warfare before like the week and he was telling me everybody else was going through it and this was normal.
01:22:28
Speaker
And then he had said that about having courage to believe like what God believes about you. And then the humility to know that, yes, I can't do things without God, but the courage to go forward with him anyway.
01:22:40
Speaker
and that really stuck with me and i think he said it in passing really and i was like what and then said okay you know what lord i'm gonna give it i'm gonna in my head i was saying like fake it till i make it or something but you believe me so i'm gonna believe you about believing me even if i don't believe me so then i kind of came in and mark and laura they started praying for everyone first we just did a whole group prayer and i think that was when i was kind of caught in the spirit and i just started like crying a bit and I didn't really know why. and I've always prided myself on being someone who's very worthy. I have the gift of the gab.
01:23:18
Speaker
I'm kind of a yapper, like I'm known for speaking, so i I always know myself to be somewhat eloquent and to be able to describe what I'm going through. So then I just started a crying and I've been like God has been telling me already that when I cry usually it's something in my soul that I'm not aware of that like it's being touched or struck.
01:23:36
Speaker
And I was so much in my head and I was feeling myself going back to how I was in November about no Naomi you're not going to be helpful you're not going to be good. And I just felt like the Lord was covering that and he was like no like focus on me.
01:23:50
Speaker
And it really really touched my heart and I started up crying and I said, okay God, I'm just ready to get over the God of self. the God, I'm just so sick and tired of thinking about myself. And then Martina did the thing where she dropped the word of God on the floor and then she said pick up a card and if it speaks to you, it speaks to you.
01:24:07
Speaker
And i picked the yellow card because the yellow is my favorite color. And I was trying to manufacture a word from God and I was thinking, okay, this has to mean something. And then when I picked it up, up I got Psalm 73 verse 26.
01:24:21
Speaker
And it said, so my heart and flesh may fail, God the strength of my heart and my portion forever. And I like burst into tears. Because he was like, you can't force a word from me.
01:24:34
Speaker
And the words themselves were saying, even if my flesh fails, even if my heart fails in my own strength, like God is the strength of my heart. He's the one that's going to strengthen me to do his will. so I was already a wreck before we started.
01:24:47
Speaker
And I think that was a good place to be. i was so much more emotionally sensitive to him because he had gotten over the God of self. And then he also said, Neema, you can't force a word from me. And if you can't force a word from me you don't have to force things in life that I'm going to bring to you anyway.
01:25:01
Speaker
And that's just like, I'm almost a bit like on cloud nothing during the whole thing. And then and the the worship was so powerful. And they were singing the heart of worship could only be the blood.
01:25:17
Speaker
And again, i just burst into tears. I burst into tears and i was like, what is going on? What's happening to me? And my teen adult team, she was making eye contact with me and I couldn't even stop crying.
01:25:29
Speaker
I couldn't stop and like, what's going on with me? then I kind of fell my knees and i just started crying. And then now we, this is days later, like two days ago, and God gave me a word about that because Martina said that God told me to tell her that Naomi, I want you to kind of look up the song to sit down with the words and ask the Lord to explain it to you. Because when I was on my knees crying to him, it was as if I was completely in eloquent to my own soul. i wasn't able to describe it, which was really uncomfortable for me. I like knowing what i'm what's going on with me.
01:26:01
Speaker
hi Can you hear me? Can I say something? Oh, okay. Yeah, I can. Yeah, perfectly. So then, um, just two, three days ago, I said, okay, let me do what Martina said Let me sit down, put the word of worship, the heart of worship and the blood on.
01:26:14
Speaker
And it happened again. i just had a burst of tears and I was like, okay. And you're like, I just feel you're just just making it up. Like what's going on? What's happening? And then God was giving me a word about how Again, like I said, I'm someone who's known for being eloquent and words matter so much to me. If I can't explain myself, I feel very stuck.
01:26:39
Speaker
And I was completely in eloquent in that season. i was in eloquent in that moment. And then God said to me, even in that in eloquent, my weakness is, that verse scripture about my weaknesses made perfect. No, my strength was made perfect in weakness. exactly yeah And he kind of set a high. Yeah.
01:26:58
Speaker
Yeah, he started highlighting verses, scripture that he wanted to link to the song, and I started reading them, like Psalm 131 that says, my my eyes are not hearty,
01:27:12
Speaker
or my heart is not prideful and I do not think about things too wondrous for me. and that touched my heart because it was like, even if I can't explain myself, even if I fail in my own strength, which is normal, because we're human, God was able to pull me from that.
01:27:27
Speaker
I don't know, i had an experience with him where he actually used my weakness to strengthen me with him. I don't know if that makes sense how to explain it, vote but in the moment I was so caught up and I understood what he was saying. He was like, like if there's ever moments where you're suddenly so ineloquent, it's actually because I'm there as well.
01:27:44
Speaker
if i and just because I can't always perfect my prayers with him, it doesn't mean that he isn't there in the moment. And I just burst into tears because he was kind of telling me that perfection and being good at speaking, that all comes from him. And none of that disqualifies me from him. So overall,
01:28:01
Speaker
that since that Saturday, I have just been on this like, wow, God, you're so present, even in my weakness, from the part I picked up to ineloquent, to worship, and moments where even if you don't understand what's going on on in your own soul, God is aware.
01:28:18
Speaker
And that's the power of worship. I'm someone that doesn't really like praise and worship, especially worship. Worship is always making me uncomfortable. But sometimes you can hear a song and your soul finally gets to be struck.
01:28:31
Speaker
and my soul was struck and I couldn't explain it and I could only go to God to explain it. So what makes you uncomfortable, what makes you feel not intelligent is actually a place where God is very strongly in as well and he can use that space.
01:28:45
Speaker
So don't be discouraged by ineloquence or opinion like you have to do things the way people do because God is and wherever you're, God is wherever we are at and he's wherever he wants us to be and that just really touched my heart and overall I've been crying ever since.
01:29:00
Speaker
Yeah, sorry, the echo is really bad, Deirdre. I don't know why that's going on, but... Yeah, yeah and yet I can't hear it at all on my end. Thank you so much for sharing that, Neom. That's brilliant. Super.
01:29:13
Speaker
Thank you. was going to share it. Yeah. I know. Awesome. Awesome. Brilliant. Brilliant. Oh, sorry. Deirdre's here as well. Amazing. she But she's like sick and she's asking if you could pray for her.
01:29:26
Speaker
Of course you will. What's up? What's wrong her? And she's having like a really bad cough. It was kind of all, you know, that cold is going around. We're all kind of getting in. It's just been really.
01:29:39
Speaker
Lovely. And you have a message from Lisa in the chat box to Naomi, okay? Which you can have a look at. Thank you. Okay. Lord God, we lift up Joyce to you right now.
01:29:51
Speaker
And we thank you, Lord, for the amazing servant heart that she has. I walked in that meeting room number one last week and saw Joyce unofficially facilitating kids' church for all the children.
01:30:09
Speaker
Moments no one else had seen, but no one else would have been aware of. Not looking for attention, not looking for a pat on the back, but you just showed up to show Christ to the most...
01:30:26
Speaker
Vulnerable and beautiful guests we can have more of the kids.
01:30:34
Speaker
Lord, you are alive and active in her as evidence in her faith and her personality.
01:30:44
Speaker
And now, Lord God, we declare that Jesus will manifest himself as Rapha. Jehovah Rapha. The God who heals.
01:30:57
Speaker
The God who restores. The God who puts the body back together again.
01:31:07
Speaker
Lord God, it is not...
01:31:12
Speaker
It should never be normal, even for your children, to suffer the same seasonal colds and flus that other people do.
01:31:21
Speaker
Lord God, we declare a hedge of protection around that house, Lord Jesus, and around everyone inside that house, Joyce in particular right now.
01:31:36
Speaker
And Lord Jesus, your word says in Malachi 4.2,
01:31:43
Speaker
that the Lord will arise over you with healing in his wings and in his light beams. So Jesus send forth that emerald rainbow from around your throne into Joyce's body this very day with healing in your wings and in your light beams and in that emerald rainbow, that that cuff will be broken.
01:32:08
Speaker
that any other cold and or flu symptoms affiliated with it would be broken, and that she would go forth this day and this week in wellness, in health, in strength, and in victory.
01:32:30
Speaker
And for any opportunities or moments or weekend blessings that have been stolen from her Lord God because of this thus far, repay in full.
01:32:43
Speaker
If there's anything Lord God that she wanted to do this weekend or get out of her heart or produce or people she wanted to talk to or connect with and those moments were robbed, give them back to her God with supernatural haste.
01:32:58
Speaker
In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen.
01:33:07
Speaker
Thank you so much.
01:33:25
Speaker
Alright guys, I'm going turn to the Word for the next number of moments.
01:33:34
Speaker
These will be the Bible of verses for today.
David's Celebration and Michal's Resentment
01:33:37
Speaker
going to start off in 1 Chronicles 15, 1-28. is one to twenty eight
01:34:03
Speaker
So when we last were looking at David's life, a we saw that he wanted to bring the Ark of the Covenant, the golden box in which at present the presence of the Lord resided, and to Jerusalem, to the city he had just captured from the Jebusites.
01:34:26
Speaker
However, His people did not carry it correctly. They moved it in the same manner that the Philistines had. They treated it in the same way that ungodly pagans had.
01:34:41
Speaker
And therefore, the Lord is struck Uzzah dead, and then they kind of abandoned it in a guy's house. His name was Obed-Edom, and the Lord just began to bless him.
01:34:54
Speaker
um So at this point they still want the Ark of the Covenant back and they're thinking to themselves, how do we do this? Obviously we did something incorrectly. and so they're going to have a team meeting discussing how they might retrieve the Ark of the Covenant.
01:35:14
Speaker
What we look at today is basically a revival taking place in David's city. Because there were times since, you know, we've been looking for 1 Samuel, when they were worshipping Baal, a demon, and sacrificing children to him.
01:35:35
Speaker
Or Ashteret, who is a goddess of transgenderism. And siding with Saul, an evil king who
01:35:47
Speaker
was taxing the life out of them. Getting them involved in all kinds of battles. Saying that David was public enemy number one who just brought the city and the country into chaos.
01:36:01
Speaker
And what they need is a revival. What they need is to put their upside down country the right way up. Same went with all of us. And that's we're going to see now in 1 Chronicles 15.
01:36:15
Speaker
So after David had constructed buildings for himself in the city of David, he prepared a place for the Ark of God and pitched a tent for it.
01:36:27
Speaker
Then David said, No one but the Levites may carry the Ark of God, because the Lord chose them to carry the Ark of the Lord to minister before him forever.
01:36:39
Speaker
So the Levites were basically, if you go back a few hundred years, you had Moses and Aaron. That was their tribe. They were the priestly tribe. And they were given strict instructions that they were the only ones who were allowed to carry the Ark of God, which they neglected to consider last time around.
01:37:04
Speaker
David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem. to bring up the ark of the Lord to the place he had prepared for it. He called together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites. Aaron was long dead, um but he's getting together the descendants of the Levites, the Levites of his day, to be about the father's business.
01:37:30
Speaker
So in verse 11, Then David summoned Zadok, Abiathar the priests. Now Abiathar, you might remember, his father and the other priests were murdered by King Saul.
01:37:46
Speaker
So Abiathar, David took him on side and said, you'll be my priest I'm going to after you. So Abiathar is his priest now.
01:37:54
Speaker
Then David summoned Zadok and Abiathar the priests and Uriel, Isaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Aminadabab, the la Levites.
01:38:09
Speaker
He said to them, You are the heads of the Levitical families. You and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.
01:38:29
Speaker
It was because you... The Levites, so he knows now where they went wrong, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us.
01:38:41
Speaker
We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way. So he's taking responsibility. The instruction had been given centuries earlier. He just didn't know. He was ignorant. So the priests and Levites consecrate themselves in order to bring up the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.
01:39:01
Speaker
And the Levites carried the Ark of God with the poles on their shoulders as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of God. So there were rings on the Ark and they had put the pole through the rings.
01:39:17
Speaker
So they're not touching the box, but they're just touching the poles. What is the point of this? Why is this necessary?
01:39:27
Speaker
Because Jesus is... The head. youre We're his body, he's the head. In the Old Testament, Israel were his people, but he was still the boss.
01:39:39
Speaker
So when you're carrying the Ark of the Covenant on your shoulder, the Ark of the Covenant is over your head.
01:39:47
Speaker
You're not supposed to have God in a cart that you control. You're not supposed to throw God on a wagon and you tell him where to go. Nor are you equal to him.
01:40:00
Speaker
The Ark is to be over a man's head so that God's ways are above your ways. His understanding is above your understanding. His way of doing things is above your way of doing things.
01:40:15
Speaker
His opinion. Thank you. His opinion is over your opinion. His perspective is above your perspective.
01:40:29
Speaker
The mistake that they had made the first time was they kind of regarded the word of God and his presence actually like it was under their feet. Their heads were up here and he was in a box.
01:40:41
Speaker
On a wagon. But this time around, they're doing it differently. They're saying, you know you're the boss. You're over the head of man. You're over the mind of man. You're over the soul of man.
01:40:58
Speaker
And then verse 16, at the very bottom of page 16.
01:41:06
Speaker
So David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their fellow Levites. So he's delegating, telling the leaders, get your men to do this.
01:41:18
Speaker
David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their fellow Levites as musicians to make a joyful sound with musical instruments, lyres, harps, and cymbals.
01:41:33
Speaker
So basically, going to have a big worship party, a big praise party.
01:41:42
Speaker
So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel from his relatives, Asaph son of Berechiah. Now, Asaph, you actually see him in the Book Psalms. He wrote quite a few books and chapters in Psalms.
01:41:58
Speaker
And from their relatives, the Marorites. Ethan, son of Cushiah. And with them, their relatives next in rank. Zechariah, Jaziel, Sharrimamot, Jahil, Uni, Eliab, you'll never need to know these names again.
01:42:17
Speaker
Benaiah, Messiah, Mataiah, Elifaluhu, Milkeny. If you're taking notes, I want you to circle, underline, or highlight this one.
01:42:30
Speaker
Obed-Edom and Jeal the gatekeepers. So just circle Obed-Edom. Obed-Edom, the Ark of the Covenant, when they screwed it up in the last chapter, got dumped off at his house.
01:42:46
Speaker
And we're told that for the months he had it, he was very blessed. So now you see, when the Ark of the Covenant goes back to Jerusalem, this guy literally sold his house and went to live another city just to be where the Ark was.
01:43:03
Speaker
This guy had had such blessed encounter with the Lord that he said, can't be away from God. I cannot be away from the Ark.
01:43:16
Speaker
I need to be wherever the presence of God is That is the zeal. That is the passion that God wants in his people today.
01:43:29
Speaker
But I would say, by and large, it hasn't always been there anyway. But i would say especially since the lockdown, you know, when churches closed for a year and a half. If you look at most crises in history, I'm not saying crises are ever good.
01:43:46
Speaker
Disclaimer notice. But after most crises, there tends to be a huge surge straight away in people turning back to Jesus. They're like, this is so bad. I need to go back to to the one who is goodness himself.
01:44:02
Speaker
Hasn't really happened after COVID. In fact, people's passivity and apathy beforehand was it it was excused.
01:44:14
Speaker
During the lockdown. Suddenly they were able to say, oh thank god, now I don't have to go up on a Sunday morning. um And it's not that Sunday, you're not gonna do trips on a Sunday, it's not. But I would say, in the first century AD, like Jesus' disciples for instance, following Jesus that literally meant you know you get crucified by your local government.
01:44:40
Speaker
Whereas nowadays, the biggest inconvenience in Christian's life is getting together for a couple hours on a Sunday. that's That's the reality. That is like the biggest burden that so many of them actually face.
01:44:53
Speaker
This imaginary problem. And I kind of find that since the lockdown, people are not like Obed-Edom. They're not chasing God's presence. They've actually, the passivity got very much set in.
01:45:06
Speaker
The indifference, the apathy, the lack of care and and concern.
01:45:12
Speaker
Alright, verse 19.
01:45:15
Speaker
I'll take the next couple of paragraphs, because these names are crazy. That's like high-pitched soprano sound. or to sound the bronze cymbals zechariah jaziel shareremamo dhiel unni eliab maayavanya were to play the liars according to alamo that's like a high pitched soprano sound Think of like, you know when women are singing, for instance, they would have been playing to the tune of of of women's high-pitched singing voices.
01:45:54
Speaker
And then verse 21 is for the men. And Matataya, Eliphelihu, Milkanaya, there he is again, Obed-Edom, highlight him, underline him, circle his name.
01:46:07
Speaker
Jeel and Azaziah were to play the harps according to Shemineth. Shemineth is an octave. That's the lowest note sung by men. So they're playing their music to the pitch of the women singers, and they're playing their music to the pitch of the male singers.
01:46:26
Speaker
So here we have Obed-Edom is a gatekeeper, and he's also on the worship team.
01:46:34
Speaker
Kananiah, the head Levite, was in charge of the singing. That was his responsibility because he was skillful at it.
01:46:45
Speaker
Verse 23. Berechiah and Alkanah were to be doorkeepers for the ark. Literally their job was to open and close doors.
01:46:56
Speaker
Shabaniah, Josaphat, Nathanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Maniah, and Eleazar the priests were to blow trumpets before the ark of God.
01:47:08
Speaker
And here Obed-Edom yet again. Underline him, highlight him, circle him. Obed-Edom and Jehiah were also to be doorkeepers for the Ark. Obed-Edom had had such an incredible experience with the Lord for those few months that he moved home, probably had a wife and kids, let's be honest, moved a whole lot of them, all their property, to Jerusalem.
01:47:31
Speaker
Now, maybe it was a very blessed city and it was like an upgrade in terms of where he's living. If it's like 21st century city, they They downsized. They live in a smaller place for higher rent. Who knows?
01:47:43
Speaker
But now his job is to be a gatekeeper. He's a worship leader. And he loves the Lord so much that he will even open and close doors. That's his job. That's how he spends his time.
01:48:00
Speaker
Verse 25. So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of units of a thousand went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the lord from the house of obed edom there he is again with rejoicing so he had the ark they took it from his house and he said you can take the ark from my house but you cannot take me from the ark and he moved jerusalem with it because god had helped the levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the lord
01:48:37
Speaker
Seven bulls and seven rams were sacrificed. So they, they sacrificed animals as as an offering on to God.
01:48:51
Speaker
Sacrificing a bull is an interesting one.
01:48:55
Speaker
If you're taking your notes, beside bull, I want you to write Matthew,
01:49:16
Speaker
Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 to 30. The bull is very significant because the bull actually represents Jesus.
01:49:30
Speaker
Because Jesus in Matthew 11 28 to 30 calls himself a bull. So this is a picture of Jesus. A lot of people miss this, but it's... If you're learn one thing today, i want you to meditate on this verse and to quote it over yourself every day until you're dead.
01:49:55
Speaker
And this is what Jesus says about himself. Come to me, all who are weary and burdened. That burden in particular means burnt out on religion.
01:50:10
Speaker
You tried to be a good person and you could never be good enough. You tried to do everything the right way and well, you failed. You tried to meet other people's expectations and you can never meet other people's expectations of broad to fullness.
01:50:29
Speaker
You had Pharisees and religious voices in your life saying, do this, do that, don't do this, do don't do that. And you know, you failed. And they bullied you, they persecuted, they oppressed you, they told you what a bad person, what a scumbag you were.
01:50:46
Speaker
So Jesus says, come to me all you are weary. You're worn out, you're worn down you're stressed, you're fed up, you're sick and tired and burdened.
01:51:00
Speaker
You tried to be a good person and you just couldn't be. In and of yourself.
01:51:08
Speaker
And look at this. Look at this promise. And I will give you rest. This is Jesus talking. I will give you peace on the inside.
01:51:21
Speaker
Peace with the Father. Peace with Holy Spirit. Peace with me. Peace with yourself. Mented. Yep. I always wanted to ask you, you just told that, you know, your experience, you know, trying to be good, how you went through that.
01:51:39
Speaker
Absolutely. um Because i first
01:51:47
Speaker
became a Christian at the age of six or seven years old. I don't know, 26 years ago. And... and
01:51:59
Speaker
Initially I was like, oh, you know what? I was hungry for the Bible. I was reading it all the time. And I knew, you know, what God liked and I knew what God hated. There were some things I didn't know. There were some things I kind of made up with that went along.
01:52:12
Speaker
But by and large, I knew in general what he liked and what I didn't like. So I dev developed this really religious mindset, not about relationship with God.
01:52:25
Speaker
I had the head knowledge I was his son. I had the head knowledge i was his friend. But in my heart, I actually felt like there was this prescribed list.
01:52:36
Speaker
And if you did not dot every I and cross every T, I was the worst. i heard And I had no shortage of people around us lining up telling me what a bad person I was from a very young age.
01:52:50
Speaker
i was As soon as I became a Christian, the enemy just sent swarms of people all around my life and to to wear me down, to wear me out. And I ended up developing this religious mentality, why kind of like a Pharisee, like in Jesus' day, um where...
01:53:12
Speaker
I was very judgmental and condemning of myself and, I'll be honest, of others. I had no... I mean, I don't always suffer fools gladly today, but I definitely had no patience for them back then.
01:53:27
Speaker
um People could do the smallest, most innocuous things, and I'd be like, oh, they're such a bad person. And all that did was make my life smaller, you know?
01:53:40
Speaker
i But then I also then had this deep rooted fear of exposure, like what if people found out I said that or did that? um And then there are all these condemning voices in my life. So absolutely. I like when I came across this years later, it was a lifeline because I knew exactly what the kind of people Jesus was talking to people who had tried to be good and of themselves had failed.
01:54:08
Speaker
but it was like having a whip. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Flagellating yourself. but No. Yeah. 24, you know, i went into the community hu and It's very interesting, we sort of left everything behind because it was so hardcore, you know, which came from Catholics, you know, to... Yeah, I was thinking about that, yeah.
01:54:39
Speaker
They used to let, like, a priest and... They used to drive, you know, like, every day, like, two, three, four hours. and I realised it can't be good, because I could see it, I could repeat it, and sins again again, thought there's no way out, I thought, I can't be, so in about 10 years I was completely out of, I didn't talk to God, until He was like somewhere in a deep, deep, deep, He goes, I feel like He forgave me sins, probably the Holy Spirit said, oh I forgave sins,
01:55:18
Speaker
I don't know, 10 years after I ignored because I thought I'm not unworthy, know. It's a tragedy. Yeah, because that's exactly what it does when you have that religious mentality. Because I know there's something God spoke to you about in a dream couple weeks ago.
01:55:34
Speaker
This mentality of your whole experience with God is built on do's and do nots. Not on the cross, jeep not on what he did. It's on what you do, what you did, what you will do.
01:55:45
Speaker
What happens is You can't measure up. You can't aware. And then actually then the response is, oh, well, I'm obviously not good enough for God, I'd better stay away.
01:55:59
Speaker
obviously not good enough for God, I'd better not talk to him. I'm obviously not good enough for God, so i'm just going to slink over here. um And then you end up running back to your past or back to intrusive thoughts or into the enemy's camp because you're ashamed of God. Whereas Jesus response is, listen, I know you're not good enough. I know you're weary. I know you're burnt out.
01:56:22
Speaker
So come to me and I'll help you. um But actually response we normally have instinctively is just to run away.
01:56:32
Speaker
um And then here's why I told you to circle the word bull. Because Jesus calls himself a bull. The bulls David sacrificed, it's a picture of Jesus. Jesus says, take my yoke upon you and learn from me.
01:56:47
Speaker
this is an interesting one. A yoke, imagine the two of us are bulls or cows. A yoke is basically a contraption, thing like a wooden one.
01:57:01
Speaker
And maybe I've got a broken leg or or a wounded leg. And Catherine's perfectly fine. And she's the healthiest bull in the field.
01:57:12
Speaker
Well, the farmer still has work to do. And he can't slow down just because I'm having a bad day. So what the farmer would do is he would put this contraption around both of our necks. So it'll start here, and then there'd be a part yolking or connecting us from the from the top.
01:57:29
Speaker
And she would be moving at a healthy pace, because she's a healthy bull. Because I'm yoked to her, i Have to keep up with her pace. I have to keep up with her rhythm.
01:57:41
Speaker
I'll keep up with her speed and that's what Jesus says here Take my yoke upon you Don't thank you. Don't look at what other people are doing and be like, oh my goodness She serves Jesus five days a week. I have to do what she's he's like no comparison Don't say, ah that person is so amazing on YouTube. They're doing this for Jesus. I'm going that country and doing this and this and this.
01:58:14
Speaker
I've got to be like that. Don't fall into comparison. He says, take my yoke. Yoke yourself to me. I'm the strong, healthy bull. You're the bull with the weak legs.
01:58:25
Speaker
You're the bull who's not feeling so great today. Walk at my rhythm. Walk at my pace. And think of G's as your dance partner.
01:58:36
Speaker
you're ah You're at a dance lesson, you're like the cha-cha-cha or whatever it is, or or or a waltz. If you're out of step with your partner, you're out of beats with your partner, the whole thing looks like a holy show. It looks embarrassing. It's like, you know, you're tripping over your own feet and you're tripping over them.
01:58:55
Speaker
So think of G's as the one who sets the rhythm, sets the pace, and you go and step. with him. Now you might think, but he's Jesus, he'll be miles ahead.
01:59:08
Speaker
No, he loves you personally. He says, take my yoke upon you and learn from me. For I am gentle and humble in heart.
01:59:19
Speaker
I'll be gentle with you. I know your weaknesses better than you do. In fact, I know the root of your weaknesses, and you probably don't.
01:59:30
Speaker
Learn from me. For I am gentle and humble in heart. I'm not gonna condemn you. There might be times he gives you a clip around the ear and says, cup yourself on. But he'll be gentle with you.
01:59:42
Speaker
And you will find rest for your souls. Serving Jesus does not mean you stay in bed for 18 hours a day drinking tea and watching Netflix. There's work to be done.
01:59:56
Speaker
But you'll have peace on the inside. You won't have the stress and the anxiety and the chains have been holding you back. For my yoke, he calls himself a bull again, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
02:00:15
Speaker
There's a bit of a burden, there's work to be done. The Father's business. This world is going to hell in a hand basket. It's down to people working with Jesus to save it. But it's light.
02:00:26
Speaker
It's work that you were made to do. Just like these guys. Ken and I, the head leave, i was in charge of singing. That was his responsibility because he was skillful at it. He's given you gifts.
02:00:39
Speaker
Natural gifts, he'll give you supernatural gifts. And you'll be doing those and it will be light because they've been tailor made for you. It's been work you've been made to do.
02:00:51
Speaker
It won't exhaust it won't tire you out. Think of the revival last weekend, for example. A lot of work goes into it, months of planning, months of prayer, but I'll be honest with you, the very next, actually when it was over, i think I stayed up until about 5 a.m.
02:01:10
Speaker
I had airport runs to do in the dark hours and I wasn't tired. My eyes weren't closed, I wasn't like, oh my goodness, I'm falling asleep at the wheel. i was grand because the burden was light.
02:01:23
Speaker
They were tasks and work and responsibilities that Jesus had made for me to do.
02:01:34
Speaker
Any comments or questions up to that point? Or that all good so far? Yeah, okay.
02:01:42
Speaker
All right, verse 27. Now David was clothed in a robe of fine linen.
02:01:51
Speaker
That's not something you really expect a king to wear. You expect kings to be wearing like you know the heavy material and beautiful material, you know and the silks and the likes. But fine linen represents purity and holiness.
02:02:10
Speaker
And it wasn't really a garment that kings wore, but it was a garment that priests would wear. So represents purity, holiness, and priests. Now he's not a priest, he's a king, but that's what it represents.
02:02:30
Speaker
And again, just like the bull, this is a picture of Jesus. Because Jesus is the king. might remember, every you know, at Christmas, every December, people are like, you know, Born is the king of Israel.
02:02:47
Speaker
He's also the king of heaven. But he's also the priest of Father God. Jesus is a king and a priest, heavenly. And David is basically in his clothes.
02:03:00
Speaker
It's a picture of Jesus.
02:03:05
Speaker
So he was clothed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who are carrying the ark, and as were the musicians and Kenaniah, who's in charge of the singing of the choirs.
02:03:19
Speaker
David also wore a linen ephod. So again, another priest image, another picture of Jesus as the king and the priest. So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouts and the sounding of ram's horns and trumpets and of cymbals and of the playing of lyres and harps.
02:03:49
Speaker
tells you a song that they sang that day, according to most Bible scholars. They associate Psalm 24 with this revival party.
02:04:01
Speaker
Catherine, you please read Psalm 24, please.
02:04:08
Speaker
The earth is the Lord's and everything in it,
02:04:14
Speaker
the world and all who live in it. For he founded on the seas, and establish it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord, who may stand in his holy place.
02:04:28
Speaker
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol, or swear by a false god. They will receive blessings from the Lord, and vindication from God their Saviour, such as the generation of those who seek him, who seek your faith, God of Jacob.
02:04:49
Speaker
Lift up your heads, you gates, be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
02:05:04
Speaker
Lift up your heads, your gates, lift them up, you ancient doors, and the King of glory may come in.
02:05:16
Speaker
Who is he, this King of glory, the Lord Almighty? He is King of glory. Thank you. All right. I've got a couple of things for you here now.
02:05:30
Speaker
Everyone highlight, underline or circle, verses 5 and 6.
02:05:37
Speaker
They will receive blessing from the Lord. And don't we all need blessings, do we? and vindication from God their savior.
02:05:50
Speaker
Vindication. It's when someone condemns you.
02:05:57
Speaker
I know the brat you were as a child.
02:06:01
Speaker
I know what you said to that person two years ago.
02:06:08
Speaker
Oh, I read the text message you were typing. Oh, you delete in the end, but I saw what you were going to send to that person. Oh, I heard how you gossiped about so-and-so. Yeah, yeah and you call yourself a Christian. Okay.
02:06:21
Speaker
Words of condemnation will always come from you from the enemy, even from other people. But God says you are vindicated.
02:06:33
Speaker
You are holy because Jesus is holy and he's in you. You are forgiven. Forgiven means your debts are paid.
02:06:47
Speaker
That's D-E-B-T, that debt. Your debt is paid. You do not have to pay the fine, which means hell.
02:06:58
Speaker
Jesus did it. Jesus dealt with it. You and God are good. So you can say, I will receive blessing from the Lord. and vindication from God, my savior.
02:07:13
Speaker
Such is the generation, such am I i who seek him, who seek your face. I want you to claim that as a blessing over yourself.
02:07:30
Speaker
Now you might ask yourself,
02:07:35
Speaker
I'm waiting on blessings I'm waiting on a gift of finances or a blessing of healing or relationship.
02:07:45
Speaker
Where is it? why um Why is it not coming? Well, look at what comes next. First he gives you the good news, and then look at the diagnosis he gives. Lift up your heads, you gates. Be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in.
02:08:05
Speaker
Let's... forget for one second that this was an architectural thing that they were talking about. Let's look at this about your heart.
02:08:14
Speaker
Is the heart and are the gates of your heart open or closed?
02:08:24
Speaker
Lot of Christians that I'll do pray for, I'll do deliverance psalm, do ministry time with, whatever it and God will just give me a word Unforgiveness and I will tell them God has freedom for you, but are you willing to forgive?
02:08:42
Speaker
Jack and they'll say no Jack hurt me so bad. i hate Jack and I will hate him till I die Well, you ain't letting the King of glory in There's a part of your heart where the gates are down and that's on you or the ancient gates It might be something that happened ancestrally, something in your bloodline that's been an issue generation after generation after generation after generation.
02:09:11
Speaker
Maybe it's been premature death. Maybe it's been marriages that weren't healthy, they ended in divorce, or they were just toxic generation after generation after generation after generation. The Lord is saying ancient gates, generational gates, be lifted up, that the King of Glory might come in.
02:09:29
Speaker
But sometimes people say, no. I like the drama of the trauma. That person hurt me, and that person hurt my mother, and that person hurt my grandfather, and and and I'll never forgive. And you end up holding on to all these things.
02:09:45
Speaker
But actually, if we take this about the heart for a moment, will you speak to the doors in your heart? The barred windows in your heart?
02:10:00
Speaker
the hot presses, cupboards, the nukes and crannies and say, lift up your heads, you gates. Ancient ones, deep-rooted ones, ancestral ones, ones I'm not responsible for, ones that predated me, one that happened decades or centuries before I came into the world.
02:10:23
Speaker
Lift up, that the King of Glory may come in. that his healing light may come in, that his justice may come in, that his rescue, his salvation, his deliverance might come in.
02:10:36
Speaker
But you have the choice to say You have the choice to say, you know what? Those gates can stay where they are. They can stay bolted. You've got the key locked.
02:10:48
Speaker
I don't want Jesus in there. I don't encourage it. I don't advise it. You'll make your life smaller, more bitter, more sour than it was ever meant to be. But in the context of your heart, that is your choice.
02:11:06
Speaker
Proverbs 4.23 says that the issues of life spring from the heart, so you have to guard your heart.
02:11:19
Speaker
It doesn't say God will guard your heart. It says guard your heart yourself. Your heart is your number one responsibility. And God is not going to override human will, free will.
02:11:33
Speaker
He might try to provoke you or push you one way or the other, but he will not ignore your opinion.
02:11:41
Speaker
He loves you, and there has to be choice in love.
02:11:52
Speaker
If you say you love someone and you ignore their choice or their free will, well that gives you a prison record, criminal record. So i he won't override your free will.
02:12:06
Speaker
All right, any questions so far? are they all good so far? All good. Okay?
02:12:14
Speaker
right, let's look at ah something that's not so good. Back in 1 Chronicles,
02:12:29
Speaker
Jerusalem is having a revival at this point and they're all so excited and they're having the best day ever It is just like the enemy to put a poison apple in the fruit basket to have a sour individual try to spoil everyone's fun.
02:12:55
Speaker
And it is just like the enemy to try to choose someone from your family.
02:13:01
Speaker
So as the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord was entering the city of David, Michal, now David had a lot of wives by this day, this is the first woman he married, but look at the description.
02:13:15
Speaker
Michal, daughter Saul. It does not say Michal, the wife of David. It does not say Michal, the woman who fell head over heels in David, you know, when they were still teenagers.
02:13:31
Speaker
It does not say Michal, the younger sister of Jonathan, who was David's BFF in the epic romance of the Bible. No. It says Michal, daughter of soul That is a very specific description. Again, underline it, highlight it. We're gonna see that two or three times today.
02:13:55
Speaker
Think of who Saul was.
02:13:58
Speaker
Demon-possessed? A murderer? Wicked? Defiled? Reprobate?
02:14:08
Speaker
Mikael, daughter of Saul.
02:14:14
Speaker
The bitterness... that she was now associated with. Well, she had more in common with her father than with husband.
02:14:25
Speaker
So Macal, daughter Saul, watched a revival from a window. Notice she's not down there with the crowds, that's interesting. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in heart.
02:14:46
Speaker
She looked at her husband, the one she'd practically been throwing herself at when they first met, the one that he had to wait a long time to marry, and jumped through a lot of hoops to marry.
02:14:59
Speaker
But here he is just loving the Lord, celebrating the Lord. And all she feels is hatred, disgust. Her face is red, steam is coming from her ears.
02:15:17
Speaker
Everything that soul felt towards David, she has inherited. She has inherited her father's offense, her dead father's offense, but it doesn't matter someone's alive or dead, you can still inherit their offense and their trauma and their perspective.
02:15:35
Speaker
ah just i May I say something?
Questioning Michal's Resentment
02:15:37
Speaker
Go for it, please do. well I've got a question. yep Do you read it in the Bible that she inherited or you think so?
02:15:46
Speaker
you or the Good question. um You're going to see Mikael referred to pause for suspense three times today. There's the first of three times.
02:16:01
Speaker
She is never referred to as David's wife. Every description of her you see today is Mikhail daughter of Saul. The likening, attachment.
02:16:15
Speaker
Of Saul. Alright. So it's phrased very, very intentionally to get your opinion. That when you see her, the next name you you see is Saul, Saul, Saul, Saul. So it's telling you that his opinions and perception and perspective of David She had just, she'd taken it and just slapped her own brain.
02:16:42
Speaker
Interesting, yeah. Yeah. And very sad. and Because her story today doesn't end particularly well.
02:16:51
Speaker
All right, we're going to look at
David's Offerings and Worship Practices
02:16:53
Speaker
1 Chronicles 16 Lisa, are to read? lisa are you free to reves
02:17:04
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah, great. Okay. Will you please read 1 Chronicles 16, 1, 2, 40, please. That's 4-0. I might stop you, true age, okay?
02:17:17
Speaker
Okay. Thank you. You're one of the only people that people aren't complaining as an echo, so I assume you're clear for everybody. But I can hear my voice echoing, so I might go straight. Okay.
02:17:27
Speaker
Whoops. Yeah. Okay. So 1st, 16, 1-14, right? Yeah. Okay. okay So they brought the Ark of God and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it.
02:17:43
Speaker
Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
02:17:56
Speaker
Then he distributed every everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. And he appointed some of the priests to minister before the Ark of the Lord, to commemorate and to praise the Lord God of Israel.
02:18:17
Speaker
A staff the chief, and next to him Zechariah, then Jirah, Tamirimot, Jirah, Matihiah, hi Eliab, Benaiah and obeyed a dome. He's everywhere here. He's just addicted to the Lord's presence.
02:18:39
Speaker
Jail with stringed instruments, and harps, but Asaph made music with symbols. Benaiah and Rahazel, the priests, regularly blew the trumpets trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
02:18:54
Speaker
On that day David delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren to thank the Lord. O give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples.
02:19:08
Speaker
Sing to him, six to him, talk of all his wondrous works, glory in his holy name. Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord.
02:19:19
Speaker
Seek the Lord and his friend, seek his face evermore. Remember his most work which he has done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth.
02:19:32
Speaker
O seed of Israel, servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the Lord our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
02:19:47
Speaker
Amen, lovely. And then verse 15. Okay. Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generations.
02:20:01
Speaker
Yeah, and just keep going. So it's down to fourteen teeth down to four, zero. Oh, four, zero. I thought four, zero.
02:20:09
Speaker
When you paused after four, zero, it's like, as you missed her. You're fine. You're fine. Just keep going. The covenant which he made with Abraham and his oath to Isaac. and confirmed it to Jacob for Institute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant, saying to you, I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of Canaan.
02:20:33
Speaker
When you were few, there were indeed very few and strangers in it. When they went from nation to another and from one kingdom to another people, he permitted no need to do them wrong.
02:20:47
Speaker
Yes, he rebuked kings for their sake, saying, Do not touch my good ones, and do my profit. Amen. Thank you, Lord. Guys, next time the enemy starts whispering lies in your ears, telling you that you are worthless, God doesn't love you, you should stay away from God and his people because you don't deserve to be around them, you are good for nothing.
02:21:13
Speaker
I want you to rebuke the enemy with verse 22. You say to that voice, you say to that spirit, do not touch God's unwanted ones.
02:21:25
Speaker
Do his prophets no harm. Highlight, underline, circle, draw exclamation points. Because it doesn't take long for the enemy start speaking wickedness to you.
02:21:36
Speaker
In fact, the enemy will often do it, even when you're around God's people. And let this be rebuke that is on the absolute tip of your tongue.
02:21:49
Speaker
Don't even tolerate the enemy for a second. The second you catch his voice, throw out verse 22 as rebuke.
02:22:01
Speaker
Thank to the Lord all the earth, proclaim the good news to his salvation of his from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations. his wonders among the people.
02:22:14
Speaker
For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is also to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the Lord made the heaven.
02:22:28
Speaker
Honor and match. God's with the lowercase g just means a supernatural being. he's to be feared above all demons, for all the demons of the nations are idols. yeah
02:22:43
Speaker
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place. Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples.
02:22:54
Speaker
Give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due his name. Bring an offering come before him. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
02:23:09
Speaker
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is fully established. It shall not be made. Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad.
02:23:22
Speaker
And let them say among the Lord, Lord reigns. Let the sea roar and all the darkness. Let the field rejoice and all that is in it.
02:23:34
Speaker
And the trees of the earth shall rejoice before the Lord. For he is coming to judge thee.
02:23:42
Speaker
I'll give thanks to the Lord, his good and his mercy forever. and see yes And again, guys, as I say circle, highlight, underline verse 34.
02:23:53
Speaker
Because it only takes one sin, one mess up, shortcoming, one sideward glance from someone in the room.
02:24:04
Speaker
and you're like, oh, I'm a bad person. Oh, I let myself down. oh I feel Jesus today. His love endures forever.
02:24:15
Speaker
His loving kindness endures forever. hi And you can rebuke the enemy with this one too. When people tell you how hated you are, how no one loves you, you hear that voice in your head that says if you died, it would be six months before anyone would knock on your door and realize you would just waste away and be eaten by your cats.
02:24:39
Speaker
Whatever it is. You say, eh, eh. His love endures forever. So I'm going to give him thanks every day, no matter what. Sometimes
David vs. Saul: Devotion and Disobedience
02:24:50
Speaker
the only thing you can thank him for is that you have breath in your lungs.
02:24:55
Speaker
But he is good, and he is absolutely good. Amen.
02:25:04
Speaker
And say, save us, O God, of our salvation. Gather us together and deliver us from the Gentiles to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.
02:25:17
Speaker
Blessed be the Lord God of his world from everlasting to everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praise the Lord. So he left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark regularly, as every day is prepared, and obeyed Adam.
02:25:39
Speaker
Okay, there he is again.
02:25:45
Speaker
and ab obey addo with the sixty eight brethren including ah but i don't understand and and who third bru and that of the priest brethn of the east before the doberacco at the high place that i was magic been to offer burnt offerings to the lord on the ort of burn offering regularly morning and do do recording that is written in the law of the Lord he commanded Israel.
02:26:16
Speaker
Thank you very much. Amazing. Lovely. So in Saul's day and even before Saul, when we first began looking at 1 Samuel, the days of Eli, let's go back there.
02:26:31
Speaker
Eli and his sons were the priests and they were taking the food from the people and they were whoring about at the tent of meeting. The whole spiritual state of the country was wreck.
02:26:44
Speaker
It was an embarrassment. You get to Saul and the king demon possessed murderer who throws spears at people's heads at least. Yeah, that's right.
02:26:57
Speaker
Who wants people who could, you know, use all the tax money to look after the poor or to give it back to the workers. And instead he's sending the army running around the wilderness looking to kill David.
02:27:11
Speaker
And finally, after decades and decades of nonsense, of waste, of humiliation, of evil, finally you've got a king and a priest class who actually love the Lord, who honor him, who serve him, who give him the credit that he is Jew, who want to make his name famous in their nation.
02:27:41
Speaker
And here's the thing, all this took time and money.
02:27:46
Speaker
It took the two greatest resources that we have as humans. Running this operation is not cheap. It is costly.
02:27:58
Speaker
But it was a picture of where their hearts were. It was a physical demonstration of hearts surrendered onto go
02:28:10
Speaker
So we're going to look at another psalm that they sang in the midst of this great revival that they were experiencing. And this is Psalm 15.
02:28:21
Speaker
fifteen Ramos, will you read this? Yes. Thank you. Psalm 15.
02:28:29
Speaker
Lord, who can dwell in your tent? Who can live in your holy mountain? Lovely. That mountain is Zion, which is in Jerusalem.
02:28:42
Speaker
The one who lives blamelessly practices righteousness and acknowledges the truth in his heart. He does not slander with his tongue.
02:28:53
Speaker
He does not harm his friend or discredit his neighbor, who despises the one rejected by the Lord, but honors those who fear the Lord.
02:29:06
Speaker
He keeps his work to tell the cost. Who does not lend silver at nor take a price against the innocent.
02:29:19
Speaker
The one who does these things will never be shaken. Amen. Thank you. Amen. Amen. That is a promise from the Lord.
02:29:33
Speaker
All right. and Naomi, are you free to read 1 Chronicles 16, 41 42?
02:29:47
Speaker
Hi Brendan, it's Joyce. We just had to leave for a minute so she's not here. That's okay, no worries. a Do you have a Bible in front of you? Or would it be too hard on your voice right now? Sorry?
02:30:03
Speaker
I can read it. Yeah, go over it, Ramos. That's all right. Yeah, go over it. Yeah, it's 1641 and 42, yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Michal's Criticism and David's Defense
02:30:11
Speaker
Well then we're a hammer, she'll do tomb, and the rest who were chosen and and designed by them by name, who give thanks to the Lord. His faithful love endures forever.
02:30:30
Speaker
Amman and Judutun had with them trumpets and cymbals to play in the musical instruments of God. Judutun's sons were in the city gate.
02:30:47
Speaker
Yeah, amazing. And you know what? I'm feeling adventurous. Let's go verse 43 as well, please. and all the pick when how david returned home to bless his household Thank you. Lovely.
02:31:02
Speaker
Okay, so after all of this, all this celebrating, all this partying for Jesus, David says, you know what? I want my family to get in on the blessing.
02:31:13
Speaker
so then he decides to go home. And this next part is just sad. right. This is 2 Samuel 6, 20 to 23.
02:31:26
Speaker
And maybe you've had experiences like this before. You've just been serving the Lord or you were just on such a spiritual high. you had a great day. And then you go home.
02:31:39
Speaker
Then you return to the people who should love you best, should support the most, who should get behind your vision. and it just isn't there. It's just not sent your direction.
02:31:54
Speaker
When David returned home to bless his household, Michal, this is the second reference to her, look at this, not Michal, David's wife, not Michal, sister of Jonathan, and Melchishua, not Michal, the first woman David had married,
02:32:13
Speaker
Mikhal, daughter of Saul. Again, there's a connection here, there's an attachment here, there's a tie here, and everything that Saul represented is in this woman.
02:32:30
Speaker
Mikhal, daughter of Saul, came out to meet him and said... So, let's say he's... Now,
02:32:52
Speaker
Hi, Kitsie, come on in.
02:33:07
Speaker
here. You're a grand, love to see ya. So again, Kitsie, Catherine, and Katherine, Kitsie. Good day, did.
02:33:22
Speaker
So we're just at the very end. Alright? No worries.
02:33:31
Speaker
So when Dave returned home bless his household, Michal, daughter of Saul, came out to meet him and said, How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today.
02:33:46
Speaker
That's true, but not the way she means it.
02:33:50
Speaker
Going around half naked in full view of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would. Now by half naked he is wearing clothes. He's wearing like the priestly garments.
02:34:09
Speaker
This is the voice of class. She's basically saying no one who is royal Now, she was the royal birth, she was, you know, Saul's daughter, plussh you know, David is the king now.
02:34:28
Speaker
She's saying no one who's a king should look humble, should have lower status clothes, should look like the normal people.
02:34:41
Speaker
You know, we're the elites. What are you doing dressing with them? What in associating with those people?
02:34:51
Speaker
And now the slave girls, what she kind of means here, she's talking a slave girl could be, it's a maid servant more generally. Okay. It could be a personal maid or it could be an indentured servant.
02:35:07
Speaker
Let's say if someone owed you money and the options, you know, were put them in prison or let them work for you for free to live pit off their debts. that That's what slave girl is here. It's a personal maid.
02:35:19
Speaker
or it's an indentured servant who is protected by common law. She does have rights. She's not a slave like you would understand poor people on a rice paddy.
02:35:32
Speaker
she's saying, Now this word
02:35:36
Speaker
goin around lookin' like a commoner in full view of all the little people although the servant of all the staff as any vulgar fellow would now this word vulgar is the Hebrew word RACA.
02:35:52
Speaker
R-A-C-A. RACA. It means empty,
02:36:00
Speaker
void virtue, reputation, worldly means, so it has no virtue, it has no financial benefits, it means worthless.
02:36:16
Speaker
You are empty, void and worthless to me.
02:36:23
Speaker
You might be my husband, but you are nothing. You are dirt beneath my shoe.
02:36:34
Speaker
That is the animosity, the hatred that has gotten into this woman. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's that's a big disappointment. It's not a little. Sometimes you might read it. It looks like, oh, just a little bit, you know.
02:36:45
Speaker
yeah People read the Bible very politely. they'll be like, you know, when David returned home to bless his household, Michal, daughter of Saul, came out to him and said, how the king of Israel has diswinged it himself.
02:37:00
Speaker
You gotta read it in a real people voice.
02:37:04
Speaker
And she's saying, you're dirt beneath my shoe.
02:37:08
Speaker
And David... Why is she hearing? Because I heard my father hearing him. I'll be honest with you, would say the fact that three times here she's referred to as the daughter of Saul, I would say she's inherited Saul's offence.
02:37:24
Speaker
She's inherited Saul's perspective. She's inherited Saul's disgust. And even the fact that Saul then married her off to someone else.
02:37:35
Speaker
Hopefully they were happy. But you probably have this idea like, you know, oh, you know, David's ruined my life. Everything wrong in my life started when he showed up. I was a princess of the realm and then this shepherd boy came along.
02:37:50
Speaker
I'd say there's a lot of projection and transference on here. Yeah. It's very interesting that the minute someone tries to please people, just come up with such a sick ideas and understanding.
02:38:05
Speaker
Yeah, and family. That's exactly what it is. The the man's you know wisdom is like dirt and grime and God's eyes. That's what it is. Look at that. It's that vain pride and that
02:38:22
Speaker
100% mean, I've thrown... God told me to throw it at an event. it was for children and teenagers. And I always remember it. It was about an hour before it began.
02:38:35
Speaker
Someone relatively close to me came up and just said... I'm trying to think what the words were. Something like, you know...
02:38:46
Speaker
I know what's in your heart. You're wicked. You're just doing all this, you know, for your own vainglory. You're just looking for attention. I know what a rat you are. know what scumbag you are. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
02:38:58
Speaker
And was thinking, I'm serving Jesus in 60 minutes. So I actually had to shut the conversation down just there and then. But I came up to that person afterwards. and i did And point blank, I said, you were a mouthpiece for the devil today.
02:39:15
Speaker
And she was like, how dare you? And I said, no, no, no, no dramatics, no theatrics. I said, not one word out of your mouth came from Holy Spirit.
02:39:27
Speaker
I said, God entrusted those delicate, beautiful hearts to me today to show up and show Christ. And you were sent by the enemy to derail me.
02:39:40
Speaker
And you were complicit with an act of your will. You chose to listen to him, to give him your ear and to give him your tongue. Well, she was humble, let me tell you.
02:39:51
Speaker
And I've had experiences with revivals, not this one a week ago, but the previous one and in November. um Literally the very next day, we'd have this mountaintop moment, 150 people sitting under the presence of God, under the worship. the the healing parages in the room, it was amazing.
02:40:11
Speaker
And the very next day, um i made a comment on Instagram, which is true, that politicians are letting in human traffickers into nations.
02:40:24
Speaker
And you can't dispute it. I mean, ah it's like the United Nations Ireland is is on the watch list and we have been for decades. You see, the problem is they've come back, you know, regarding that, that you need to pray for the kings and governments. They probably come from that scripture.
02:40:43
Speaker
You know what? If it had been a Christian who got offended, they they could have, because I've heard Christians excuse wicked politicians actions before what what that kind of rhetoric. But actually, this was an um unsaved people then got together.
02:40:56
Speaker
and spoke to family and relatives of mine and succeeded in turning them against me just because I said politicians are helping human traffickers.
02:41:08
Speaker
I would have thought that at the very least as a nation we were still in a place where we valued human life enough not to want people getting trafficked. But actually they were using this like to say oh you know you're a scumbag, you're a wicked, you're a bigot. I'm like I'm very bigoted towards human traffickers, yeah.
02:41:25
Speaker
But en Insane. But again, the spiritual high, the mountaintop, and twenty well, not even 24 hours later, 12 hours later, trying to create a valley.
02:41:37
Speaker
And the enemy, just like in this, David's having a revival here in Jerusalem. Yeah, yeah. And the enemy looks for a family, friends, your relatives, the people who should be your biggest champions and supporters to make them complicit in your destruction.
02:41:56
Speaker
And then David knows what's going on here. He knows, okay, you're you speaking on behalf of your dead dad. David said to Mikhail, this probably made her even angrier to be honest.
02:42:08
Speaker
It was before the Lord. So I worshiped and celebrated before God. Who chose me rather than your father.
02:42:19
Speaker
I'm sure that was like a dagger in her heart. The last thing she wanted to hear, but it was true. And the reality Mikhal, daughter of Saul, Mikhal, daughter of Saul. So he brings her father into it.
02:42:33
Speaker
It was before the Lord who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house. David loved her brothers, it's especially Jonathan. But he's saying, your brother isn't the king either. They're all they're all dead.
02:42:47
Speaker
When he appointed me ruler over the Lord's people, Israel, I will celebrate before the Lord. I'm the king of a country. I have a lot to be thankful for. will become even more undignified than this. If you thought that was bad, chicken, wait until you see what I do next week.
02:43:07
Speaker
And I will be humiliated in my own eyes. I will spend as much money as I want on the Lord. I will spend as much time as I want on the Lord. I will dance how I want to dance before the Lord. I will celebrate how I want to celebrate before the Lord.
02:43:22
Speaker
I don't care what other people say. i don't even care about my own opinion. That is how much I love him.
02:43:30
Speaker
But by these slave girls you spoke of, the indentured servants, the women that you think are so far beneath you, who are so common, so icky, don't touch them, I'll be held in honor.
02:43:44
Speaker
The very people that you think are so lower class, they're not looking at me with hatred and disgust, they're not looking with embarrassment.
02:43:57
Speaker
You might be high and mighty up your window, in your tower, but actually they saw the heart. The ones in the highways and the byway, the commonplace people, the commoners, they saw the authentic love I had for the Lord.
02:44:15
Speaker
And verse 23, and Michal and macal Daughter of Saul, so she didn't say sorry, she didn't repent, she didn't change her mind. Still the daughter of Saul. Had no children to the day of her death.
02:44:28
Speaker
Bitterness dried her up. Now I'm not saying that bitterness is the root of every case of infertility, but in this case, it was. She couldn't so much to say a kind word.
02:44:42
Speaker
A kind word couldn't get out of her. So therefore no child could. And she dried up. And what I
Facing Spiritual Attacks During Revival
02:44:51
Speaker
really got from the Lord saying here is in days of revival, you can expect attacks from family, Mikal,
02:45:03
Speaker
attempts to make you suspicious of how other people see you. Because notice, no indentured servant girl had a bad word to say about David. Not one of them.
02:45:14
Speaker
But Macal is like, oh, you'll never guess what they saw. Oh, a little birdie told me. um Oh, I saw the look in their eyes when you did that. Oh, I wouldn't do that again. Oh, I wouldn't teach that sermon again. Oh, that that's that's a bit too on the nose.
02:45:32
Speaker
And I'll even say, you know, it as recently, last week for that revival, I met up with some people yesterday who had been at it and were so blessed. But actually a lot of pastors up and around the country heard what's happening and sent us hate mail.
02:45:46
Speaker
Said that we were of the devil. they? People set free. God doesn't heal today, you're witches! I'm like, oh my goodness, what nonsense. Oh, that's that's very very far behind, isn't it? T-Club or whatever that is, is definitely not a house of God.
02:46:05
Speaker
um And the third attacks, you have the attack from family. You have attacks to make you suspicious of how other people see you. And then the third attack here in the last line is attacks against health.
02:46:21
Speaker
In her case, stricken with infertility. um And I can even say in the, for about three or four weeks in the run up to last weekend, I must have had a nosebleed and been coughing up blood every day for three or four weeks.
02:46:41
Speaker
i'd be I'd wake up and within within the first hour or two spewing blood and nosebleeds sporadically throughout the day. And haven't had one since Saturday, thank God.
02:46:53
Speaker
a But I just sat at the time, was like, I know what this is. Is this an attack into my health? Is this gonna take me, is this gonna kill me? No, it is not. So i was like, put that to one side, focus what have to focus on.
02:47:11
Speaker
the enemy is so crafty he would try to steal your joy, steal your expectation, steal your hope. And three of the primary ways he seeks do it is through family, through arousing suspicion of how you are seen by other people, and health attacks.
02:47:35
Speaker
And when you know that, it equips and arms you with what to pray against in advance, during, and after.
02:47:47
Speaker
Because for David, this was retaliation for a job well done. He'd already done all the good stuff. And he had to come to contend with this as soon as he got home. It doesn't say he was in his house, it says when David returned home to bless his household.
02:48:01
Speaker
So he's probably somewhere between the driveway and the corridor.
02:48:06
Speaker
And this woman finds him. The enemy finds him. and So that's just an alert to be very, very aware of and prayerful against. Before, during, and in the aftermath.
02:48:25
Speaker
Now I know that there was a
Discussion, Questions, and Personal Stories
02:48:26
Speaker
lot in that teaching today. a Are there any comments, queries, questions, concerns? or that out there. yes Yeah, that's very interesting because um like you said, bitterness or equity, that's the probably one of the causes, the main downfall, you know, of man.
02:48:56
Speaker
course it is, yeah. Like you said, we depend on a man's opinion instead of the word of God.
02:49:06
Speaker
and that's what brings it out, all the undesired things. Yeah, 100%. And the thing is, people's opinions are important to an extent. and But if you're living for other people's opinions, you're very, very vulnerable state.
02:49:23
Speaker
and If you're too easily swayed by them, that's so that's a stronghold that needs be broken. But even what with the health, this just kind of came back to me actually on two Thursdays dayss ago.
02:49:37
Speaker
I was collecting Alicia from the airport. um And then as we were driving back, those in Ireland might know this kind of but the Ashburn area, which is just a long stretch of road, 100 kilometers per hour.
02:49:53
Speaker
I was driving along and next thing, ah white van just stops right in front of us. No one around, no reason, just stops. And on the way to the airport,
02:50:05
Speaker
God had given me an instruction.
02:50:09
Speaker
Swerve left. And I was driving the airport thinking, what? Nonsense. i was like, if you're overtaking someone, you go on the right. We all know this. I said, whatever.
02:50:22
Speaker
But it it was just so not a thought I would have that I just took note of it. Well, let me tell you, on the way back that airport through Ashburn, when this guy stops right in front of me,
02:50:35
Speaker
I swerve left. I was like eeeeee! So drive off the road, swerve off onto the grass, narrowly missing a big road sign and a wall, just to avoid hitting him.
02:50:48
Speaker
But then, he goes, drives diagonally blocking me off the road. So, I just thought this guy actually wants me to hit him.
02:50:59
Speaker
It's like he has a death wish. And it's like he's actually trying actively to cause a car crash right now. And he wants me to be the villain in the story. And thankfully now I slammed on the brakes and and narrowly avoided him.
02:51:14
Speaker
And I heard turned to Alicia and I was like, what just happened? And he looked at me like that was crazy. So I reversed, overtook him on the right, kept on driving and just said, that was nuts.
02:51:28
Speaker
ah Next thing this guy begins stalking us tailgating us all the way to slain castle and Which is quite a stretch of road for those of you aren't familiar with us and He must have been Inches Behind us the hallway to slain castle, and I just said okay god this guy he either wants to kill or be killed But it just felt demonic and and then when we got to the same castle the lights were all red you know we had to obviously stop but he's just sat behind us and then overtook us while the lights were still red he must have missed just by a few centimeters and and if you know if we had hit it this is the wall you know where the bus crash happened years ago and you have all the white crosses for the kids who died it was there
02:52:21
Speaker
And he just narrowly avoided hitting us. And while the lights were also red, sped off into the night where we could no longer see him. um But just how even the Lord is so good that regarding the preservation of a life and extending his life, his salvation power is mighty to save his kids.
David and Michal's Marital Challenges
02:52:47
Speaker
he would even give me that word in advance. I just feel like swerve left swerve left swerve left just a couple hours before it happened.
02:52:58
Speaker
And I said this to a friend I met up with her for a coffee on Tuesday Wednesday. And she was like, bring you there must be a Bible verse that goes with that. And I was thinking, I said, yeah, there has to be a Bible verse about turning to the left.
02:53:13
Speaker
And I was bit like, i don't know there is. So I read the word of God anyway. And i came across Isaiah chapter 30, 21. And this is God speaking.
02:53:26
Speaker
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it. So God actually said, I will tell you where to go.
02:53:40
Speaker
You go to right or left, just do whatever I say. And I was like, wow. So, praise be to God for his absolute goodness.
02:53:53
Speaker
So, I'll give one more moment for any any comments or questions, then we'll move into where some prayer. was just wondering, why did David marry her?
02:54:06
Speaker
And he didn't love her, obviously, if she didn't love him. Sure. I'd say at the start, and when they were still very young, were told that she fell in love with him. And now it seemed like she fell love with him first. That's the kind of the impression you get.
02:54:22
Speaker
um And she was like... And then um he was given the opportunity to marry her. um And initially his response was, well, I'm just a poor man.
02:54:35
Speaker
I, I, it's not right and proper that I should marry a princess, not really, no, no, But Sol wanted him dead. So Sol said, so just kill a hundred Philistines, kill a hundred of my enemies, that'll be the dowry.
02:54:52
Speaker
And then you can marry her. So David heard this and thought, okay, well, I don't have any money to give but I suppose that's fair, i am a soldier. Saul in his head was thinking, ha ha ha ha, David will die.
02:55:07
Speaker
but instead, David came back having killed 200 Philistines, and to Saul's annoyance, he was still very much alive. and But after fobbing him off once or twice, he did actually have to say, okay, right, you two crazy kids and get married. um But what happened was when Saul began, Saul really began plotting to kill David,
02:55:30
Speaker
and he sent men to David's room to kill him, so to their apartment where they were living. She helped David escape out the window, but then Saul was like, why did you side the son of Jesse? Why did you help him?
02:55:46
Speaker
And then fear spoke. And she said, i had he threatened to kill me. i had to let him let him go. and and as soon as the words cut off her mouth, I'd say something happened there and then.
02:56:00
Speaker
The fear. She may even have convinced herself of the lie. Or it could be a case where, you know, sometimes you might tell a lie. And then so much time passes, you don't want to tell the truth. It's easier to believe the lie or to settle for the lie or hide behind the lie.
02:56:18
Speaker
So she told Saul, oh, well he tried to murder me, so I had to let him go. um And as the years went on, she just seems to have turned that fear of her father into hatred of her husband.
02:56:38
Speaker
to the point where you you never really see them together again the Bible after this. buts kind The last chapter, they say marry and get a divorce, but you you never see any emotional connection between them again after this. Yeah, you could say it, but something like you said, I never thought about it, how bad she's spoken, but she's spoken, so normally it doesn't come like overnight.
02:57:06
Speaker
Yeah, yeah i mean it would be gradual. Yeah, sure. yeah And the other thing is probably, that you know, the world would be different so much that they couldn't live together. Like, literally.
02:57:18
Speaker
He's dedicating himself to the to the to the Lord, you know, and she just thinks about human things, about him pride, stupid, you know, human, which is worth nothing.
02:57:29
Speaker
Yeah. And all that. Big time. Like, I'm sure she had her own, like, you know, apartment suite in the castle. I'm sure she was fine. they i doubt they had to spend too much time together, necessarily.
02:57:42
Speaker
But, um... You know, David's family life got incredibly tortured and upon his kingship. And this is really the first sign of that.
02:57:55
Speaker
But, as you'll see in the weeks to come, at the...
02:58:02
Speaker
spiritual infection in his family actually begins to spread, take deeper root, and becomes very, very nasty. And but this is of the first real example of it that you see.
02:58:17
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah, you hear so many jokes about the in-laws, you know? Right. But they do haven't have serious impact on women, like in marriage. Sure.
02:58:29
Speaker
I heard of an example a couple nights ago where...
02:58:33
Speaker
an Irish woman, if I'm not mistaken, was dating an Indian man. I think they were even engaged. um So she flew out to India with him to meet his parents. and But she was wearing a pair jeans or something.
02:58:48
Speaker
And next thing, his parents began screaming at her in the middle of the airport saying, you know, you absolute slut, you're a disgrace, you can never marry into our family, you're an absolute embarrassment.
02:59:01
Speaker
In the middle of the airport, at the top of their lungs, and Now I think they actually did get married, but leave and cleave. There has to be a holy separation that takes place.
02:59:16
Speaker
But instead she she listened to the lies her father told, knowing that they were lies, and just chose to believe them. She listened to the wickedness that he came out with and was untolerated so long that she became complicit.
02:59:34
Speaker
and to the point where the
Fear, Bitterness, and Relationship Impact
02:59:36
Speaker
man she had once loved so much and was you know begging she could get married to it seems like she hated him more than she'd ever loved him yeah very sad I was thinking the same I was thinking about that time where you know you see in the house of David how she thought David how to read the scripture in Hebrew And you're thinking, is this the same person? And then I'm thinking, what happened along with her? You mentioned how fear could have been an open door for her.
03:00:11
Speaker
And that explains it. Yeah, and that was, what he's referring to here is the Amazon show, House of David. It does have some really good moments, and the David versus the Goliath episode is class.
03:00:23
Speaker
But my, I understand, you know, wanting to have more scenes of the two and together as young lovers. I'm all for that. But my concern with that show is that they make Dave and McHale's relationship in those early days so amazing.
03:00:41
Speaker
I almost don't know if I trust Amazon to write the show accurately enough when she gets the best possible. don't like that as well. It's like a movie, an entertainment movie. Apart from the truth, it doesn't tell you anything. It's so complex.
03:00:57
Speaker
Yeah, hopefully season two a expands in it. And i also I have this bookmark here and I was reading what's there behind it. Like I did not know before this that there was a scripture behind it. And this is for you Naomi.
03:01:14
Speaker
Can you see this?
03:01:18
Speaker
it's the same words ah It's the same words you were referring to earlier today when you were sharing your experience. From 2nd Corinthians 9, my grace is sufficient for you for my power is made me perfect in weakness.
03:01:29
Speaker
And then the other scripture that you refer Psalm 73, 26, both of them are on here. Very much confirmation.
03:01:41
Speaker
Brilliant. Brilliant.
Prayer Session for Healing and Guidance
03:01:44
Speaker
Amen. Amen. Well guys, we'll enter in time of some prayer. And in... Let's see.
03:01:54
Speaker
anything in particular that they want brought before the Lord today?
03:02:02
Speaker
Okay, sure. Of course you do. Of course you do. Yeah, amen. Okay, we'll pray for that.
03:02:10
Speaker
on theiblin side the
03:02:16
Speaker
know sure just one check up stressa of course you tell of course you'd say yeah name man okay we'll pray for that m
03:02:32
Speaker
Yeah, Grace. Okay. I have health issues as well as you know, Brendan. Yeah. The headaches are constant. But the roots, the roots have to be dealt with. And
03:02:47
Speaker
nowhere is going to help me with that when she's better, you know. Yes, good, good. But I know, talking about parents, I mean, my mother had it have a devastating impact on me. Okay.
03:02:57
Speaker
You know, and that that's at the root of a lot of my insecurities. was control and overprotected And no love, no... It was just, you stay with me, you're mine. You know, so I'm back out nobody.
03:03:14
Speaker
Oh sure. You know? Yes, yes. That that is one of the roots.
03:03:21
Speaker
It's getting to see God as my father, my mother, my brothers, you know. Yeah.
03:03:32
Speaker
Amen, amen. have a niece as well. I told you about our service. Yes. This prayer.
03:03:40
Speaker
They all need salvation too, of course. Yeah.
03:03:46
Speaker
Amen, amen. Let's pray, amen. Okay. Those of you who are on the Zoom, and I want you guys to pray as well, okay? So even if you're on mute, okay? So I still want you to pray along with us, even in the room, okay?
03:04:05
Speaker
Alright, well Father God, we thank you for today. We thank you for your word.
03:04:12
Speaker
We thank you Lord that we can even see how
03:04:20
Speaker
your people worshipped, you turned the trajectory of that city and that nation around.
03:04:31
Speaker
And we believe that Lord for our nations.
03:04:35
Speaker
For Ireland. For the UK. For Finland. For Pakistan.
03:04:43
Speaker
Lord God we receive this as the prophecy God for our time.
03:04:49
Speaker
Evil. Torn down and cast Lord God and your righteousness done on the earth. Your will done on the earth.
03:04:59
Speaker
Lord God we speak to the ancient gates in our hearts.
03:05:07
Speaker
Over the impact, Lord God, of parents, of siblings,
03:05:19
Speaker
Things, Lord, that we inherited that we weren't even responsible for.
03:05:28
Speaker
Cultural issues, God, that were more cult than culture.
03:05:34
Speaker
And we speak to those ancient gates and we say be lifted up right now that the King of Glory might come in.
03:05:42
Speaker
That Yeshua might come in.
03:05:47
Speaker
That Yahweh, Rapha,
03:05:55
Speaker
Shaddai, Jireh, Elohim, might come in and heal those areas and bring restoration.
03:06:13
Speaker
Lord, we pray for Francis, Lord. We thank you, God, you have preserved him for 60 years, Jesus.
03:06:26
Speaker
And, Lord, it's only right and proper, God, that
03:06:33
Speaker
that achievement be marked and celebrated and him honoured, God, for the people who truly love him.
03:06:46
Speaker
So, Lord, just like in the story, the enemy sows such seeds in families to make people feel isolated, alone,
03:07:03
Speaker
forgotten Hated. Less than.
03:07:13
Speaker
Lord protect Francis' heart from bitterness.
03:07:18
Speaker
That he would not.
03:07:21
Speaker
Fall into any word out for God. Or confidence like oh I was always there for them. And they won't be there for me. Well I will. Oh I'll never. I'll never forget this. I'll never forget this again. May bitterness not take root. And if it has begun to, Lord, help him to catch it.
03:07:39
Speaker
And to start to pull up those weeds straight away. Before they totally cloud his perspective, his vision. And stunt him, Lord. In the same way, Lord Gargoyne Macau could neither say a good, kind word or give birth.
03:07:56
Speaker
There was a shutting. There was a stunting. The gates came down and hemmed her in. Lord God, I do not want Francis to find God that he is unable to be generous anymore because of other people not being generous to him.
03:08:11
Speaker
I don't want a case God where he refuses to show up for people anymore because some people chose not to show up for him.
03:08:20
Speaker
Rather, Lord, may he fix his eyes on the people who are on his side. who are excited to celebrate him and to celebrate with him and to give him the best birthday he can have, Lord.
03:08:37
Speaker
One tailored to him and to his interests. Keep the flow of generosity and love and that sweet compassion in him flowing.
03:08:54
Speaker
I see a beautiful blue stream
03:08:58
Speaker
And I see a not-so-beautiful brown one. And I speak to that brown one and I say, you will not take root. the The flow in him will not be corrupted or defiled or stilled into muddy water that go nowhere, that stay in one spot like a brown, dirty puddle.
03:09:23
Speaker
But rather his heart remains open.
03:09:28
Speaker
Not a heart of stone, but a heart of flesh. okay
03:09:35
Speaker
Lord, I speak over Catherine's body.
03:09:40
Speaker
And I thank you, Lord,
03:09:45
Speaker
for how good you have been to her God getting diagnoses after ah year of being messed around, Lord. of finding out, okay, I've got an allergy to this, and I can avoid this.
03:10:00
Speaker
That doesn't agree with me, so I can avoid that. Thanks God for the clarity that you've been given. Thank you God for the doctors you put in our path more recently, Lord.
03:10:17
Speaker
And Lord God, we speak over her total healing and restoration, Jesus.
03:10:25
Speaker
Even for her nerves and on her legs and legs, Lord God. When doctors are sad, you know what? There will be a waiting time before things get readjusted and reconfigured. Your body's in shock.
03:10:38
Speaker
Lord God, we speak over that body and we say be shocked no more. Instead, just be shocked at how quickly and promptly the Lord blesses and heals her.
03:10:48
Speaker
I speak reconstitution over your body on a cellular level. level Total healing and restoration With supernatural haste From top of head the soles of your feet total healing and restoration
03:11:12
Speaker
but supernatural haste
03:11:16
Speaker
the top of your head to the soles of your feet
03:11:24
Speaker
Lord God, for things which have been scheduled for the coming months, I thank you for that Lord. If they can be brought forward, may they be brought forward for more clarity.
03:11:39
Speaker
I speak over our hearts, O God, and I say, do not give in to fear. We saw Macal give in to fear at one time and bitterness took hold and hatred took hold and her life became so much smaller it was ever meant to be.
03:11:59
Speaker
I declare you will not be on the cow where fear gives way to bitterness,
03:12:07
Speaker
where joy gets suppressed and peace gets suppressed and gladness and a good belly laugh gets suppressed because of the fear and the bitterness weighing you down.
03:12:20
Speaker
I say no to that.
03:12:25
Speaker
And the Bible tells us that hope deferred makes the heart sick.
03:12:31
Speaker
And I speak to your heart and I say hope again. What is hope? It is joyful expectation. Joyful expectation of seeing God's goodness.
03:12:44
Speaker
Joyful expectation of seeing God move. Joyful expectation of good reports. Joyful expectation of celebration. Joyful expectation of jubilation.
03:12:59
Speaker
Joyful expectation of singing a new song and just dancing with Jesus on the kitchen tiles.
03:13:09
Speaker
I speak to your heart and I say rejoice even before dates for tests the hospital. It speaks to your heart and I say rejoice even before good reports are sent in the post.
03:13:27
Speaker
It speaks to your heart and I say have a skip in your step, a dance in your shoes where you know that you know that you know that God is absolutely good.
03:13:40
Speaker
That he has vindicated you. He is your refuge. He is your shield. He is your supporter. He is your biggest supporter. is your biggest champion. He is your healer.
03:13:53
Speaker
He is on your side.
03:13:57
Speaker
He loves you most and he has got you.
03:14:04
Speaker
I see a massive big red ring. It's like it's made of light and the blood of Jesus all at once. It is humongous. And I see a white sheet in the middle. It almost looks like an alarm clock or the outline of one.
03:14:22
Speaker
And the red is a color of the blood of Jesus, of his power, his wisdom and his anointing. And the anointing breaks the yoke of evil. And the white is a color of holiness and purity.
03:14:37
Speaker
And the fact it looks like an alarm clock. I'm getting the word Belfast for some reason, whether you're up in the north at some point, that's kind of what I'm, I'm kind getting Belfast.
03:14:50
Speaker
And I feel God is saying, it is only a matter of time before you see a manifestation of his power, of his blood, and the blood washes away all sin.
03:15:07
Speaker
And the blood purges wickedness of his anointing and the anointing breaks the yoke of evil and that includes sicknesses. It includes diseases, it includes infections.
03:15:22
Speaker
Manamana. Allergic reactions.
03:15:30
Speaker
And you're going to see such an amazing and mighty move of God. And it is only a matter of time.
03:15:40
Speaker
And the the hands are already ticking. The hands are not frozen. You're not time locked. You're not forgotten. You're not up there on a shelf. The hands are we speak over Ramsay's Foggy as well.
03:16:06
Speaker
No, I speak to his heart. I'm getting the word. Heavily burdened.
03:16:18
Speaker
I feel the Lord saying, if he fills his head with crap, crap, and that means trauma, anxiety, fear and something he's never going to receive.
03:16:43
Speaker
saying you want to be in a good shape and you go to the gym and you come home and you eat 12 cupcakes a day.
03:16:52
Speaker
He needs to take ownership of his mind and his heart.
03:16:59
Speaker
So Lord, speak to his heart and I say God. Begin to give him and speak to him in a way he understands. in a way that will get through to him.
03:17:15
Speaker
And give him crystal clear instructions on what needs to go. What he cannot tolerate in his head and his heart any longer.
03:17:30
Speaker
He's filling his emotional heart with things that are affecting his physical heart.
03:17:43
Speaker
They're causing stress.
03:17:46
Speaker
Arteries to tighten. Effecting blood pressure.
03:17:53
Speaker
Effecting his ability to breathe.
03:18:00
Speaker
An inability to rest and to relax.
03:18:07
Speaker
To shut off. And to just be in the moment. and just be in the Lord's presence.
03:18:23
Speaker
Lord, give him the ability to say no, or to turn off the phone, and to turn off the TV.
03:18:39
Speaker
The Knowledge God, that to tune off And to tune is not going mean that the world falls apart and other people's lives is fall apart.
03:18:55
Speaker
I see an elastic band. It's like he's being stretched to the point of nearly snapping.
03:19:04
Speaker
But he's responsible for his no.
03:19:09
Speaker
And he can tune out, he can turn off, he can mute.
03:19:15
Speaker
there can be a healthy detachment from things he's filling his head with. I keep getting soul crap. It's strong word from God. Things he's filling his head with.
03:19:33
Speaker
There's an element of looking after himself that he's responsible for. And people he's looking after, I'm not convinced they care about his health all that much.
03:19:44
Speaker
either concerned of their own aches and pains. I'm not saying their pains are not legitimate. But he has to be more responsible for himself.
03:19:55
Speaker
Even if that means saying no. When people ask him certain questions or to help or to yadda yadda yadda.
03:20:09
Speaker
Speak him very clearly God, abruptly.
03:20:14
Speaker
in a tone he will understand and work in his heart God he'll be humble to say yes when you speak
03:20:31
Speaker
and Lord God we pray for Kitty Lord and thank you Jesus that you've connected her to us Lord Jesus whose God you want your children to live in unity to be one
03:20:52
Speaker
and you want your children to be whole, healed, free and restored.
03:21:00
Speaker
Lord, I speak to the little girl in Kitsie Jesus
03:21:07
Speaker
to the inner child that did not get the love the value
03:21:15
Speaker
The attention, the care, the compassion, the concern. The trust that she needed to mature into the fullness of what you had for her, Lord.
03:21:31
Speaker
To one who was overprotected the point, Lord, where fear seized upon her.
03:21:39
Speaker
And her world was made to be so much smaller than it was ever meant to be. so much more cut off than it was ever meant to be.
03:21:58
Speaker
Lord Jesus, pour out your blood and your light, your life light, on the little girl inside, Jesus, and bring healing and restoration there, Lord.
03:22:15
Speaker
a breakthrough the life of which Kitty has never known before where your blood just flows through her Jesus powerfully potently authoritatively
03:22:33
Speaker
I speak to those ancient gates and I say rise up that Jehovah Rapha the God of healing might come in
03:22:48
Speaker
Healing that inner child, Lord, who inherited fear that was projected on her and transferred on her.
03:23:03
Speaker
Not fear, God, that she was even directly responsible for, a Lord. But long before she ever knew she could loose and bind words,
03:23:16
Speaker
Long before she ever knew about spiritual things, Lord God, the enemy seized upon those layers of her soul.
03:23:24
Speaker
I speak him and I say, be healed in Jesus' name. I speak to that inner child and I say, grow up in Jesus' name. come before the throne of grace right now to find the help you need and deserve and that Jesus died to give you in the name of Jesus bringing healing and restoration Lord healing and restoration of God
03:23:57
Speaker
and Lord I speak over her ears
03:24:02
Speaker
And over the headaches, Lord. believe that a large part of the headaches is the root spiritually rooted in the lies that were whispered in your ears, and shouts in your ears, and drilled in your ears, year after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year.
03:24:27
Speaker
I speak God every canker worm and serpent in those ears. And I say up and out right now in Jesus' name.
03:24:40
Speaker
Every word of deception, every word of smallness, every word that told you not to have adventures, like adventures of Jesus, every word that told you to make your life smaller,
03:24:57
Speaker
to live in abject terror that people wrote to get you that you were nothing that you were worthless that you were less than every word of comparison comparing you to everyone else and you were always less than or given the short end of a stick i speak to every one of those lines and i sit up and out of my mouth i see like a magician's when they pull out handkerchief after handkerchief after handkerchief after handkerchief and i see blue handkerchiefs i see red ones blue is the color of depression i'm feeling blue today red is the color of war and it is spiritual warfare and well god pull those out of kitty's ears right now in jesus name and i say those words of spiritual warfare
03:25:50
Speaker
fall to the ground right now in Jesus' name and those words lending themselves to depression on the floor right now in Jesus' name.
03:26:00
Speaker
Depression that came from her mother, whatever her mother was going through, whatever she had been through, whatever led to her becoming the way she became.
03:26:10
Speaker
You are not Kitty, daughter of your mother, you are Kitty, daughter of the Most High God. The same way Mikael inherited soul's issues.
03:26:22
Speaker
Soul's depression. Soul's obsession. Soul's oppression. Soul's wickedness. Soul's tyranny.
03:26:34
Speaker
I speak those words that got into your head. That you have inherited. That were never for yours to inherit. That were projected and transferred onto you. And it broke the Lord's heart to see it happen. It was never his will for your life.
03:26:48
Speaker
And I speak to those words and I say up and out. Just like that magician's sleeve. All those handkerchiefs. All way up and out.
03:27:00
Speaker
And that even as you go forward this week, God would bring memory things that were spoken over you. That you haven't thought about for years or decades.
03:27:13
Speaker
And instead of inheriting them, You would say to them, Off and out in Jesus' name.
03:27:21
Speaker
You would say to them, You are null and void in Jesus' name. You are cancelled in Jesus' name. I rebuke you in Jesus' name. The Lord says I am vindicated in Jesus' name.
03:27:37
Speaker
The Lord loves me with an everlasting love in Jesus' name. I do not settle for lies in Jesus' name. I trample on the lions and I kick the scorpions in Jesus' name.
03:27:53
Speaker
The Lord take you on a healing adventure. With a healing exposure.
03:28:02
Speaker
There would be healing in the revealing. He would reveal so you can deal and it's all concealed by his blood.
03:28:15
Speaker
That you would have dreams. And in those dreams, you would see the faces of people who hurt you or who offended you who have bullied you taunted you, ignored you, let you down like flushing a toilet the Lord would flush out all the pain and the offence and the bitterness and the hurt that got in through that
03:28:44
Speaker
but it would take you on a soul healing journey I see a jar of honey his word would be like honey in your lips
03:28:56
Speaker
as you ingest it. And I'm gonna say this guys, as I'm praying this, if this resonates with any of you, just say yes Jesus, I include myself in that too, okay? For you I'm praying for directly, and I'm saying something like I like it, claim it for yourselves.
03:29:10
Speaker
That this jar of honey, it'll be honey to your lips. And because there's natural sugar in honey, you crave more of it. It's on your tongue like, oh, I could do some more of that.
03:29:25
Speaker
Oh, I'm in the mood for, I'm feeling peckish for some more honey. You'd be peckish for the word of God. And it would be nourishment to you. It would be sweet to the taste.
03:29:36
Speaker
There are times when God gives a word and it's like battery acid in your stomach because it's harsh. Gentle and good, but harsh. But this would be honey to your lips.
03:29:48
Speaker
You'd be addicted to You'd crave it. And it would... flow through you like liquid love, healing the blue bruises of sin.
03:30:03
Speaker
Sin that you committed, sin that was committed to you, sin that the enemy did to you. Through spiritual weapons, through his voice, by pointing the words in other people's heads that then came out of their tongues.
Emotional Healing and God's Guidance
03:30:27
Speaker
to your forehead and to your chest. And pull out black arrows, javelins and spears that the enemy sent your way.
03:30:44
Speaker
Words that said, you are nothing, you are less than.
03:30:52
Speaker
You're less beautiful or funny or important than so and so. Words I said, you're alone. You were meant to be alone. Other people were meant to have people, you weren't. You were always meant to be alone, that's just your portion, that's just your lot in life.
03:31:11
Speaker
You're just one of those people who lives alone and dies alone, no members. Any such word, I declare, that you're pulled out of your head, of your chest right now.
03:31:23
Speaker
Out of your heart. Out of your heart, exactly.
03:31:29
Speaker
If withdraw missile from the flesh, there are still wounds. Poiling the mag can be a good thing, there still wounds. So Lord Jesus, replace those holes now with your holiness,
03:31:49
Speaker
with your light, with your light beams.
03:31:57
Speaker
like can see your body but there are holes in it and it's like he's pouring in light. it's It's liquid made of light.
03:32:07
Speaker
And brings such deep healing and restoration to Jesus. Deep, deep, deep, deep, deep into soul.
03:32:20
Speaker
The soul has layers. Imagine this Bible teaching is your soul.
03:32:29
Speaker
There can be a cut on this layer, and it can go down another layer, and go down another layer, and and then it infringes on an attack from twenty two years ago, and that one also had a layer, and that was only hurtful to you because if something that happened 40 years ago, another way, I pray that for those home the Lord has exposed today in pulling out those arrows, those spears, those jambeings, he pours in light, liquid light for the healing of the soul.
03:33:14
Speaker
That this week, you would not be
03:33:20
Speaker
easily triggered, but you would be trigger conscious, trigger aware. He would start to bring things to your mind, not that you would be triggered and fall apart on the floor, but you'd say, oh that hurt me.
03:33:36
Speaker
God, why? And like pulling out a single string of spaghetti out of a bowl, he would show you exactly where it came from, exactly where it originated.
03:33:50
Speaker
and begin to take you on that journey. And even with the handkerchiefs coming the magician's sleeve, they're all tied in knots to each other, he would expose the knots.
03:34:02
Speaker
He'd expose the connections.
03:34:06
Speaker
Maybe you went through a phase in your life of like you know running away from this person and this person and that pastor and that church and that fellowship and those people. He would expose to you how one reaction was connected to another.
03:34:21
Speaker
How one issue was connected to an earlier route. Times your life you said, I think I'm going crazy. This is How can I be a child of God and still be doing this this stage in my life?
03:34:33
Speaker
He began to show you. how it all knits together but it would not define you because he has knit you together and you would see yourself as a recipient of the spirit the son and the blood of god his holy spirit which is his own the signed, sealed and delivered promised guarantee
03:35:06
Speaker
The blood of Jesus, which has already washed you clean of all sin. And the Son of God, Jesus within you. That when Father God looks at you, he sees Jesus looking back at him.
03:35:21
Speaker
And Jesus would take up more space in your heart in these days. All the nukes, all the crannies,
03:35:32
Speaker
All the cupboards, all the hot presses, all the windows, including the ones you've barred shut, all the doors, including the ones you've locked and bolted and double bolted. I speak to those ancient gates, and I say be lifted up.
03:35:51
Speaker
rappa That the healer, will come in.
03:35:56
Speaker
In Jesus' name. In Jesus'
03:36:01
Speaker
speak over Rammus and I say
03:36:10
Speaker
I just see the word fear written over you and on that screen on that and that rectangle to every spirit of fear that the enemy has assigned against you that right now like Goliath their heads are lopped off you cannot kill demons but my goodness you can make them feel pain and suffer that their heads are lopped off, their words, null and void, their words amount to nothing.
03:36:43
Speaker
Any word they've spoken over you, again, to make your life smaller, to stop you from stepping into the fullness of what God has for you, a man to make you think that you somehow have messed up and that's why you are where you are,
03:37:00
Speaker
that where you are is all you will ever be and there is no expansion for it you, there is no more for you, I cancel every single one of those words. I say they are null and void in Jesus' name.
03:37:16
Speaker
And you will step into everything he has for you and I think you're going to start doing it sooner than you think. I think...
03:37:25
Speaker
The Lord showed me that. And then, in two years of that shooting, shooting, shooting, just got tired. And when I found Dan's developing, I prayed, I said, this is it, God.
03:37:40
Speaker
But what people saw, they have to reap at the end. I got a sco to stop for that. I couldn't listen to, you know, last week, you know, when we had that meeting, um Open House Ministries, you know, I thought, this is it. this is I just got fed up.
03:37:57
Speaker
And then he showed me, oh, you've got that book, Pray Us, he goes. Again, so, you know, the gang stalking. I just got fed up. ah People being, you know, like nasty, mad at the earth, and that's what it is. a Friday, you know, I surrendered by to repair, the keys of God, like, oh, just repaired. He brought me again because the pedal went wrong.
03:38:23
Speaker
He doesn't do so I'm Monday again. This is it guys. No offense. I'm taking the right hour. I'm getting myself prepared. I don't know. They're like obsessed, you know. I'm tired of dealing with obsessed madders and perverts.
03:38:40
Speaker
It's really hard. I would like to be there like like a wall, you know. Yeah. Like hitting the wall.
03:38:50
Speaker
No, I speak to that wall and I say... fall down. And I would say if you have let the fear in, in any capacity whatsoever, you make a decision with an act of your will to come out of agreement with that fear, and you're going see those walls collapse brick by brick right down to their very foundations.
03:39:19
Speaker
God has more for you. He has adventures for you. He has excitement for you. um you just Don't be complicit. I know that and I know that he was the quite a hard time and he tried to do this and he tried to resist and sometimes it's like you need to wait.
03:39:38
Speaker
It's all, he said wait, just don't shoot, just don't go to evangelize, just how don't do that rash decision out of something. Yeah, but here's the thing with the word wait.
03:39:55
Speaker
In English, Wait is often seen as stop, but actually wait and ah in the Hebrew, because the Bible's written Hebrew, it's the word kava.
03:40:10
Speaker
And kava means to get different threads and to tie them together into an inseparable rope. Waits on the Lord it's like when when God spoke to Moses at the Red Sea before separating us and and it's wait on the Lord. It doesn't mean you stop It's not passive Internally, it is active. It means to tie your soul and spirit to his So it is inseparable
03:40:44
Speaker
and you know you know that you know that Red Sea is going separate and you will cross on dry land. If you throw a bucket down a well, you will pull it up with that rope.
03:40:56
Speaker
If you're abseiling, you know that you know that you know that rope is not going to snap. It will support your body weight while you go all way down or or or climb up.
03:41:07
Speaker
That's what weight means. It's not passive, it's active. It's not sitting it out, waiting on God to do something. It's you knowing that you know that you know that he is on your side and he's for you and he's making you stronger and he's building you closer to him you're gonna step into the fullness of what he has for you.
03:41:34
Speaker
Deirdre, God is doing such wonderful things in you, really, really stepping into the fullness. of what he has for you and I believe he's saying keep it up.
03:41:47
Speaker
But I do see lips. A top lip and a bottom lip. And I believe he's saying be very mindful of your utterances in these days.
03:42:00
Speaker
He wants to take you from strength to strength, grace to grace, faith to faith, and glory to glory. Do not let this
03:42:11
Speaker
Hold your back. No. Or cancel you out. Or take you out. Not to give voice to negativity. Not to give voice to doubt.
03:42:21
Speaker
Not to give voice to yesteryear. Not to give voice to what your enemies have said a about you. But let the confession of your lips be faith.
03:42:33
Speaker
Let the confession of your lips be his report. That he's taking you in leaps and bounds, in strides. And you are going to step into what he has for you.
Expressions of Gratitude and Faith in God's Plan
03:42:47
Speaker
who And for Lisa and the twins, spoiler alert the rest of you. I'm gonna start giving them the platform to start teaching on Sundays.
03:43:01
Speaker
Naomi a super job Easter Sunday last year and I see real teacher potential in them gonna start giving them the opportunity to start delivering some words God's giving because the one thing I never want is for the Josh Adoration to be the Brendan Show. God's given all of us gifts, we all part to play.
03:43:23
Speaker
I want a space where they can play them. And Lord, I thank you for the gifts that you have given your daughters. I thank you, Lord God, for the trust that you have in your daughters.
03:43:37
Speaker
Thank you, Lord God, that the very first European in the Bible who ever got saved was Lydia, a woman. And you have always had such a special affinity for your daughters in this continent.
03:43:55
Speaker
So, Lord God, I thank you that you have given them such gifts and you have such great plans for them. And they're going to step two those plans.
03:44:07
Speaker
And they will achieve everything that you have for them. And, Lord God, continue even these days to give them tools and techniques and strategies to deliver the word which are already beginning to put in their hearts and to give them were a word god that would bless everyone under the sound of their voice but it'll be absolutely amazing lord it will be an appointed time an anointed word Make those words true to them, Lord. May they see your words in action in their lives before they even share them with us.
03:44:46
Speaker
And that way they will come with experiential knowledge of just how good you are and putting the word to work. And that those testimonies will do extraordinary things in the lives of the rest of us.
03:45:02
Speaker
Lord, we thank you for everything you've been doing, God, in Mandy's life with Katie in Greece. God, how that young woman coped with the abject agony she was in all these months and years, I don't know.
03:45:25
Speaker
that they were able to correct what had gone so wrong. is phenomenal. And that Mandy was preaching and praying for every single doctor, nurse and surgeon involved, not letting them touch her daughter until they'd already been prayed up by her specifically. I thank you Lord that she is a mighty steward of what you've given her.
03:45:48
Speaker
She's fearless. And Lord God, continue to bless them and to heal Katie in this time in Greece, God, in this time of of recovery and do bring them back safe and sound Lord Jesus to sta Lord I pray for Lucy.
03:46:08
Speaker
I know she had an awful weekend last week Lord with her brother. mother Lord i thank you that you safely delivered her niece Bailey Blossom. And Lord even though things in her family look appalling right now.
03:46:24
Speaker
I pray Lord that you will just breathe in that situation. You rescued Lucy from the absolute brink, oh God.
03:46:35
Speaker
And we know that you can do the same for our brother. Of course you can. So do so, Lord. Do so and don't delay. May he find favour in the eyes of the authorities.
03:46:50
Speaker
And may he become such a recipient of your grace, God. Choosing to say, listen, I'm at the end of my rope here. this is as bad as it gets, I've hit mark bottom, I do not want this for my family, don't want this for my daughter, how do I turn things around?
03:47:10
Speaker
Jesus, and that you will do the impossible, you'll do the impossible, like only you can.
03:47:21
Speaker
And, Lord God, for Kitsie's family, Lord Jesus, who don't know you yet, and for Sarah, her niece, God, I pray that you will show them Christ in the most phenomenally personal way.
03:47:39
Speaker
Whether, God, you the lot of them pure miracles,
03:47:45
Speaker
Whether it's through the transformation power of yours put on display in Kitty. Whether, Lord, they all have the very same dreams some night, wake up, share their dreams, go, oh my goodness, that would could only have been Jesus.
03:48:01
Speaker
However you choose to do it, God. Whether you put writing in clouds in the sky.
03:48:07
Speaker
Get their attention. Get their attention. And God, I pray that God, even over all of our families and relatives, I'm to receive this too. That they just melt at your feet, Lord.
03:48:25
Speaker
That they see Christ crucified, Christ risen, and the blood of Jesus having washed them clean.
03:48:37
Speaker
They see that your love is so pronounced and so profound that they have ever thought, said or done, no thought or intention of their heart, it's so wicked that you would turn them away.
03:48:56
Speaker
God, even if they behaved like me cows before, being enemies, Lord God, to your people, being bitter and wicked and nasty, That they would not say, oh, that separates me from God's love. Oh, he won't tolerate me. Oh, he won't love me.
03:49:14
Speaker
But may they hear reality of the gospel, Lord. That you died once, Jesus, for all people, for all sins. That it's all been dealt with. It's all been punished. It's all been cast into hell.
03:49:29
Speaker
And now all people are invited into your presence, into your family. that you are the Lord, you are the master, you are the boss.
03:49:44
Speaker
But you died to save people, and it's your will that none should perish.
03:49:50
Speaker
Get that word to them, Lord, in the most amazing and personal way that you can, in a way that you know they'll receive. And if the front door or heart is closed, find the back entrance.
03:50:07
Speaker
And do what only you can do, Lord. Do what you most want to do, which is to save the lost.
03:50:18
Speaker
Disciple them, build them up, free them, release them into the mission field, that others can get to know the blessing, that they will see you doing the most phenomenal, fabulous things in their lives.
03:50:36
Speaker
and the lives of those around them and in their time, that their latter years will eclipse the former years, and so great will those days of salvation be and the days of the joy of their salvation, that they would not remember the days of their rebellion, the days of their pain, of their shame.
03:51:04
Speaker
because they would be so lost in you, the God who found them.
03:51:11
Speaker
That they be so sold out for you, throwing themselves on the cross of Jesus, that they would celebrate and worship you like David did when he said,
03:51:25
Speaker
I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes,
03:51:35
Speaker
Because other people's opinions will mean absolutely nothing. Because they'll be so sold out for Jesus and pouring their oil on him.
Communion and Reflection on Christ's Sacrifice
03:51:48
Speaker
name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's see, was something in the chat box.
03:52:01
Speaker
and Okay, Catherine, this is where you're to text this to later, okay? Lisa said, I got this word for Catherine. Romans 15, 13, the New Testament.
03:52:15
Speaker
Now may the God of hope, and hope is joyful expectation, not sitting around blissfully optimistic, but knowing that you know that you know you'll see his goodness the land of living.
03:52:30
Speaker
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy, happiness happens, joy remains, and peace, a deep peace that the world cannot give you, it's peace from knowing you're good with God, he's happy with you, and you're solid in him, in believing, let's write that again, it's a long sentence, then may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, in believing,
03:53:00
Speaker
that you may abound in hope by the power of
03:53:24
Speaker
guys i like to pray or share anything or Are ready to have communion before you wrap up?
03:53:34
Speaker
I just would like to ask, you know, you said that you stopped teaching, you know, and that career you stopped. Have you got any plans? or gu a still writing and sending out CVs.
03:53:50
Speaker
So i ah yeah I'm kind of thinking along the lines of a personal assistant or executive assistant or events management or something.
03:54:01
Speaker
and It's a case where through ministry and being a senior teacher, I've amassed a big catalogue of skills. and So i feel very much that teaching English as a foreign language is over or at least suspended for the foreseeable future.
03:54:22
Speaker
And very excited about something new. Very excited about something different. Very excited about something um bold, adventurous and unexpected. and So...
03:54:37
Speaker
Last week what was kind of a nice week. I got to start meeting up with some people that I perhaps don't see all that often. Going for a nice nature walk up along the beach and the rocks.
03:54:51
Speaker
Because often you're with a day job, especially in the city centre. had to get up so early. takes but two hours to get there, two hours back.
03:55:03
Speaker
But I get back in the evening, um' i'm in for the night, you know? a So it's kind of nice to have that bit of free time actually to spend it with other people.
03:55:15
Speaker
So I think that this week will probably be another social week. <unk> I'll still do the CVs and send job applications, but still make time for for people, even face to face.
03:55:27
Speaker
And... then Yeah, it's a case that I'm not going to elongate it too long, because I'd say you can get used to it very easily. and So I'm not going to drag it out unnecessarily.
03:55:39
Speaker
But i and it's it's been a little change of pace, I suppose. Just give me a chance to catch my breath. But whatever God's will is, I'm very easy going with that.
03:55:52
Speaker
But yeah, I think the last job, it was... It was good for it for its time, but it just kind of run its course.
03:56:03
Speaker
And I went in on Friday to collect my boxes of folders, you know, nine, ten years of worth of materials, but at leaving it just felt very right.
03:56:18
Speaker
And yeah, a it was strange. My final week there i got a little bit sentimental. I was like, this is my last time in this classroom. This is the last time I'll ever use the printer. This is my last time washing my hands in this toilet. Silly stuff, you know.
03:56:35
Speaker
But leaving on Friday, it just sounds felt right, you felt timely. So whatever God has next will be great. But i looking forward to something different.
03:56:48
Speaker
yeah interesting yeah me the last slice of bread in the house was eaten by a dad for breakfast so we'll be having biscuits instead of bread today forget the health regimen that I'm normally trying to promote thank you I'm off the biscuits for Lent oh that's alright you gotta stick to the picture blood
03:57:22
Speaker
so by i that's okay
03:57:29
Speaker
yeah now find the youtube I one earlier because they're the warped still. They are fine. All right, guys. all right guys We're going to have a time of communion and and wrap up, okay?
03:57:58
Speaker
Those of you who were there for the teaching on the discipleship, teaching on Wednesday night, you know i remember I shared a story in Genesis chapter 9, and it was just after the Great Flood and Noah's Ark and everything else.
03:58:13
Speaker
And it was such a high point in Noah's life. I mean, eight survivors in this worldwide calamity. And...
03:58:25
Speaker
just how relieved and delighted and ecstatic Moses felt. And sure, they had a whole range of emotions. And then what happened was Noah planted a vineyard.
03:58:37
Speaker
He grew grapes. And then he made wine and basically got drunk as a skunk and fell asleep in his tent butt naked. And it's the first time in the Bible you actually see someone get drunk. Not saying it never happened, but the first time the Bible is recorded.
03:58:55
Speaker
And he had three sons, and one of his sons walks in, his name was Ham, because he was a ham. And he's like, oh, dad's naked, everyone's been looking at him. And like, insulting him and knocking him.
03:59:11
Speaker
And so often we can feel like that from the enemy. Judged. Condemned. Everyone's laughing at Everyone hates us. You're a holy show. that hack of yeah this see of yeah You're a dirtbag. You're a scumbag. You're a whatever kind of bag. That's it. All the okay. You're fine.
03:59:34
Speaker
But then... all the first don delicate can't window so we go
03:59:44
Speaker
and so yeah okay you guys but then his two other sons but shelterhel and and Japheth came in and they walked in backwards with blanket and they threw the blanket over him and that is what Jesus has done for us we've all had that moment of you know getting drunk as a skunk naked in the tent that moment of shame that moment of embarrassment that moment of humiliation You had done such a wonderful thing for Jesus and then 24 hours later you are cringing like, oh my goodness, how am I the same person as... And we can have no shortage of hands in lives.
04:00:37
Speaker
Your inner voice.
04:00:40
Speaker
Insulting you, mocking you, condemning you. you ought to feel ashamed yourself And the good thing is the Bible does not say shame on you. The Bible says shame off you.
04:00:52
Speaker
But thank God that Shem and Japheth are pictures of Jesus. He walks in and he throws the blanket over you. He says you're covered.
04:01:03
Speaker
You're clean. You and I are good. You and I are okay. It's just like it never happened. It's been done away with. That's what Jesus did on the cross.
04:01:16
Speaker
That's what the blood is. The blood of Jesus is that blanket that says, you're clean. You're good. You're okay. You're fine.
04:01:26
Speaker
I've got you. I've got this. We've dealt with it.
04:01:32
Speaker
So as we have communion, we remember that the body of Jesus was broken
04:01:41
Speaker
that your life could be put back together again.
04:01:46
Speaker
First and foremost, brought into reconciled relationship with God.
04:01:52
Speaker
And the blood of Jesus is Noah's blanket. It has washed you clean. That when people look in your tent, when God looks in your tent, he sees you covered in blanket. He sees you covered the blood of Jesus.
Unity in the Family of Christ
04:02:08
Speaker
When Holy Spirit looks at you, he doesn't see shame or embarrassment. He doesn't cringe. He doesn't go... He's like, you're fine. You're good.
04:02:19
Speaker
You're okay. When Jesus looks at you, he says, you're mine. You're my beloved.
04:02:29
Speaker
You're my prized possession. I paid to buy you back.
04:02:36
Speaker
All your shame has been hidden in my holiness.
04:02:43
Speaker
So as we have communion, the Bible commands us to meditate on Christ crucified,
04:02:50
Speaker
but also to perceive the body of Christ today. His people. That we're part of a family. A heavenly family. So we'd all better get along together, because we're to all eternity in heaven with each other anyway.
04:03:03
Speaker
So don't be falling out with each other over silly nonsense. Amen. That we're part of one family. because of one body that was broken.
04:03:15
Speaker
On the inside, there's one baptism where he's brought us all back to life on the inside with a Holy Spirit wash, a Holy Spirit cleanse. In Jesus' name.
04:03:27
Speaker
Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
04:03:55
Speaker
You've had nothing more breakfast, have you? You have beaten breakfast bag in 22 or 8.
04:04:32
Speaker
Amen. My Lord God, we thank you for it today.
04:04:38
Speaker
We thank you, Lord God, for
04:04:43
Speaker
biblical picture of revival, Lord. And we declare this over our nation, Lord. Not for events that we throw.
04:04:54
Speaker
In the name of David, but this was not just a one-day thing. said he said, okay, keep this up. Do this on the regular. Worship on the regular. Do this on the regular. That would become lifestyle, Lord, all across our nations.
Commitment to God's Guidance and Healing
04:05:09
Speaker
I thank you, Lord, that in this word today, you've given us words to fight against the enemy with your report. To get your hand off the Lord's anointed.
04:05:22
Speaker
And the Lord will bless his people. Because he loves us with an everlasting love.

man who had an encounter with you. And he couldn't resist. He couldn't let the ark go. He couldn't let your presence go. He had to be wherever your spirit was moving.
04:05:57
Speaker
May we be like that, Lord.
04:06:02
Speaker
Where you go, we go. What you say, we say. What you pray, we pray.
04:06:09

Amen. If you say, swerve left, we will swerve left. If you say, turn to the right, and there is no right, we will turn the right until we find a right.

04:07:14
Speaker
we thank you, Lord, that you are absolutely good. And may that be the defining reality of our lives.
04:07:26
Speaker
And of my precious brothers and sisters in you, Lord. In the Josh generation, you do a deep, wonderful healing and restoring work in their lives, a cleaning out kind of work in each of their lives over these next seven days, God.

Speaker
So when we're together next week, it's like, oh God did this, oh God said this, oh God did this, oh he said this and I did this and it wasn't so great, so next day is this and it a lot better.
04:07:55
Speaker
And there be great celebration, Lord. The spirit of heaviness overhanging so many of them would be broken, done away, or destroyed.
04:08:07
Speaker
And that joy, that peace would be so free-flowing and all-concering. In Jesus' name.
