And we are recording this a couple of days before it goes out. So who knows something might have happened in the break in between.

So we thought we'd look at the big stories surrounding all the teams in the Premier League, in particular, the big players and the ones specifically focusing on Arsenal, as well as some of the most ridiculous things I've seen in a transfer room.

Yeah, it reminds us a couple of years ago, remember we used to do stuff like this, run down the clock, and then Vampir seen Fabric has had one year left in their contract, and we're just looking for everyone just to buy them. They first found themselves in in a situation like that, and with top, top players. you know I think the seller went, all right, maybe he's he's getting on a bit. You you don't know whether you want to keep him on um in the long term, give him a big contract, and who knows, next season he gets injured, and that's kind of it.

He's a local lad, academy player, pure profit, but it looks as though he's pretty much decided to go and there was a lot of grief for him at Anfield in the Man United game. He performed really really badly against Bruno Fernandez and one thing i was we did a little um sort of like title contenders podcast with the Liverpool city and nine forest teams the other week and I did ask Is this, sort of like, because sometimes when you have these transfer sagas, they can really ruin the flow of a club? Do you, like, with it being three big players, if Trent turns around now and says, I've signed a contract with Real Madrid, does he get dropped? Does Conor Bradley come in? Like, do you trust him to see the season out?

So if they have, if they get to January and their contract ends at the end of June, then they are allowed to open discussions with other clubs to move to them for free. And effectively it means the players will get a big signing on fee because the club isn't playing a transfer fee. So it works quite well for both parties. Um, it just means as well that clubs have let players contracts run down. There are three big ones at Arsenal. And I'd like to know if you would extend any of these players contracts or if you would just let them go on a free Josh. They are.
