When I asked Laurie Baker to sit down and speak with me, I knew the conversation would be riveting. Her experience turned wisdom on natural spirituality, healing, caregiving, journalism, women’s studies, writing, acting, storytelling, swimming, ritual… give you ample space to think and feel without the traditional constraints.
In this conversation, we organically move through the different phases of life, exploring our human-plant relationship as maiden, mother, and crone. We delve into the relationship between nature and spirituality, particularly in the context of invasive species. What arises is a complex give and take that ultimately reminds us to trust in True Nature as the physical conduit to our Divine Nature.
Laurie Baker is a life-long enthusiast and idea person, curious and intuitive. Communication, kindness, patience and synthesis are traits she's worked to cultivate in herself and others.
