Meet Lindsay Robertson

00:00:35
Speaker
It's Miracle Season.
00:00:41
Speaker
Welcome back, welcome back, back again for another episode of spiritual fitness podcast. And I have the honor and the privilege to have a phenomenal Lindsay Robertson. She's a tour de de of God. I like to call her a subconscious healer and a hypnotherapist. And so today we're going to get into like the money mindset, subconscious mind, the soul's journey, life, love, maybe human design, numerology, astrology.

Journey into Spirituality and Hypnotherapy

00:01:07
Speaker
I just found out she's a master number but 33 to those of us who know I love numbers and numbers don't lie when they're in alignment of your soul's assignment. Lindsay, how are you? Welcome to the podcast. I am so good. I'm so excited to talk to you. It's been a long journey to get here. We've been trying to schedule this for a minute, so I know that is perfect timing and it's going to be amazing.
00:01:29
Speaker
Yeah, so before we dive into the goodness, the greatness, who is the soul of Lindsay? And how did she get in a space where she's healing, well, hypnotizing and people, taking people on a soul journey to heal? Not only that subconsciously just evolved their spirit and love in this lifetime. Like, how did you get here?
00:01:48
Speaker
Well, as probably you would definitely understand and a lot of your guests on the show would it understand, maybe your audience too. We're not born normal, are we? We're not born to just fit in. We're not born to like do the normal thing, whatever that means. And I know that's defined differently by everybody. I was definitely a weird kid.
00:02:08
Speaker
like My dad is super hippie, my mom is super religious, so I had like both worlds and I really kind of attached to the style of thinking that was more, what are you capable of? like What is a human? What are we beyond just skin and bone? I grew up in a very small town. I actually moved back recently and there's this cemetery in my town and I would be walking through as like a 12-year-old touching the gravestones like, okay, how did this person die? like I don't know. Really?
00:02:38
Speaker
I'm like I was all up in like what is a human what is a soul but in your kid mine you kind of equate that to like ghosts and spirits but now that I'm older it's more like spiritual and more like soul and what are we while we're here versus like what we are when we you know after we died haunt the cemetery so I was always just trying to find out more about humans and people and I ended up studying criminology and forensic psychology in college. Very quickly realized that's not my thing. I need more love and light if I can't be around all the darkness all the

Choosing Hypnotherapy as a Career

00:03:13
Speaker
time. So I switched gears and tried to figure out what it is I liked and
00:03:17
Speaker
I found hypnotherapy because my sister gave me a book in 2004 that I read and just couldn't get enough of it. It's called Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, hypnotherapist. And he is basically transcripts of his sessions with clients, taking them through the hypnotic process and basically communicating with their souls. And I was like, holy crap, this is what I've been missing my entire life. And I was like 19 years old.
00:03:42
Speaker
So a little young, but I still just couldn't get enough of it. And by the time I had my first son in 2012, I was like 27 years old. And I was like, what do I want to do with my life? Like what do I want to do? I want to be home with my kid. That's what I want to do. But I also want to do something that I love. And hypnotherapy came screaming back like, why don't you do that? Right. Now, this part of my story is probably one of the linchpins in like what I teach people as well.

Aligning Decisions with Higher Wisdom

00:04:09
Speaker
Because it actually did happen where I have the download of like, ooh, hypnotherapy. You love that, remember? Remember hypnotherapy? And immediately my mind went, no, that's for other people. You're a mom now. You got to figure this out. You have to be responsible and do you know the thing that's going to bring safety and security. That's a risk, right? like What if you never get a client? What if you never make money? What if you end up hating it and you quit? you know All the things. And I kind of was like, yeah.
00:04:35
Speaker
You're probably right brain logic whatever i'm probably gonna just get a regular job but then another voice showed up that i now know was my possibly higher wisdom possibly my intuition whatever that thing is. That lets you expand is everybody that's ever done anything had to start with this decision of whether you take the step into the unknown or.
00:04:57
Speaker
You just do the safe thing. And I really didn't feel like doing the safe thing. It didn't feel good to me. So I was like, oh, that's a good question. Why can't I? And so I just made some calls, did some research and the rest is history, I guess. But yeah, it really does come down to like in that moment of.
00:05:14
Speaker
Do I do the same thing I've always done versus step into this possibly best thing that I could do for myself, but it's very scary and uncomfortable at first. like What do you do? and so I like to give my clients and really everyone I talk to, everyone through my podcast or my membership or anyone that comes into contact with me, I love to get them to think of what would I do if I knew it would work out. What would I want to do if I was brave enough to like take that step forward and I try to help people get there, you know? It's a long way to answer your question. no great yes You unpack so much. By the way, what's your hometown? It's like even its hometown.
00:05:51
Speaker
My hometown is Mason, Michigan. I'm from Michigan, girl. As a 19-year-old, I moved to LA when I was 20. Had to get out. My journey of 20 years being in LA and then in Vegas, I met my husband, had two of my kids. The third one was born in Vegas. Then it just stopped making sense. What am I doing here? I got in Tarzana.
00:06:15
Speaker
You left. We didn't get the meat when you're in LA, you know? Wait, are you in LA now? How funny. Yeah, no, I totally left. Yeah. It just, you know, unless you're a millionaire trying to be a millionaire, especially if you have a family, it's like, what doesn't make any sense.
00:06:30
Speaker
We moved to back to Michigan and my kids are obsessed. If they weren't happy, it would make it a lot different of an experience, but they're so happy to be here than nature and other cousins are here. It's a really good fit for the family. But at the time when I was younger, I was like, how do I get out? Where's the exit? I need to go.
00:06:49
Speaker
Yeah. You was explaining, do you believe in fate or do you believe in free will? Because what I know is that in life, it's not really our conditions that shape our reality. What is our decisions? You made a decision that changed your life. So how do you honor the ego mind and its wishing or is our life already predestined, which is fate? Or do you think we have free will? What do you believe?
00:07:13
Speaker
Oh, I hope I don't piss anyone off with this.

Is Life Predestined or Free Will?

00:07:17
Speaker
The book that I mentioned earlier really opened my eyes to like what felt right for me. And before, there were a lot of unanswered questions like that one in my mind. And now I've found a place where I'm very comfortable in, you know, what I believe and what feels good to me. So I believe that when we come to this planet,
00:07:35
Speaker
There's some things that happen before we arrive that would be like, okay, here's what you're trying to learn. Here's the lessons that are going to present themselves to you. and You know, you decide how you handle that. I kind of think of it as like, when you map yourself on a GPS, like let's say we want to go to Utah or whatever, we're taking a road trip. There are so many routes to get there, but ultimately that's where you're going. So you can make all different kinds of decisions. You can turn left when you're supposed to turn right.
00:08:01
Speaker
But ah essentially we know where we're going and we know what our soul decided and yes it knows better than your human does your soul decided what your lessons are going to be you can just kind of navigate yourself to get there or not maybe you decide to go to Arizona instead and then on the next one you go to Utah yeah I would say both I'd say yes there's a destination but you also get to decide what happens in between.
00:08:26
Speaker
Because I believe, at some point, your soul is just going to lead you right back to where you need to go. Of course, there's going to be lessons. I did a Kashit record reading maybe like maybe six, seven months ago. cheeks I was told that I already served my soul's purpose. And there's two paths that lead to one. And it's up to me. It can be hard. That's one in my mind, or it can be easy one in my heart.
00:08:50
Speaker
And the way she explained is like, when you're walking past a pool, you're like having fun. Everyone's up over there. Maybe some people are suffering, struggling. You're looking around, you're having fun, but then you slow down. You're competing with them. Now you're in the water. Now you're swimming down. It's hard. I say that's just when in your heart. your heart is easy. So, you know, everybody's different. I really believe we all have soul contracts and to live out because my life's been a movie. I'm pretty sure you always had. Well,
00:09:14
Speaker
and we get to live and be here, but I want to move to your social media. So I was on your social media yesterday and I was reading a quote, and this is something that I so resonate with, I embodied, I integrated, but it sounds good, but it didn't feel good. So I'm going to read the post.

Impact of Forced Positivity on Mental Health

00:09:33
Speaker
Constantly forcing a smile and staying positive.
00:09:38
Speaker
Canon usually backfire, creating a perfect storm for your mental health. So because of how I was raised, and you know, I came up, whatever, like it just had all this, I suppressed my real emotions because I grew up in a negative environment. So my positivity was actually my coping mechanism to help me from self-destruction.
00:10:00
Speaker
But when I had the opportunity not to be that person, positive person, I still wouldn't feel comfortable being sad or being angry, sad. So I had all this suppressed anger. Then boom, I go on TV, I do all these things. And now I'm really programmed. High energy, high energy, big smiles, big smiles. So I'm on the shows or whatever. I come off the show, I'm still in this mass. I'm still in this paradigm. Last year I had an ego death, Dark Knight of the Soul. And my soul was like, you can't be that character anymore.
00:10:29
Speaker
And so can you talk because I live this and I know the pain. I call it the Will Smith effect. I like that. got to go all but Brother, you're suffering inside. You're in pain. You're hurting. You're so happy. You're sad. Why do you think we live out that first step persona so much in all of life? And why is it so hard for us to be authentic, to be our natural self? Where does that come from?
00:10:55
Speaker
Well, first I want to ask you a question. As a kid who had to put on that, we're going to say survival, right? You wouldn't be here without doing that. Any kind of like defense mechanism, survival mechanism, it's needed at the time. The biggest thing as a hypnotherapist that I see is Our subconscious doesn't know expiration dates. It doesn't know that you don't need it anymore. It has no idea. It just knows what it knows. It works. It's going to keep working. Let's just keep doing it until you teach it that it's safe, right? Not to do that. It could be emotions. It could be money. It could be relationships. Gosh, it can be anything. But once you teach your subconscious that it's safe to step outside of that,
00:11:37
Speaker
outdated paradigm, outdated thought pattern, then it's so easy. But until then, it feels really hard and really uncomfortable.

Childhood Coping Mechanisms and Adult Impact

00:11:45
Speaker
But I wanted to ask, as a kid doing this, finding yourself having to be positive, I know that at the time it helped you, right? Not, what did you say? Self-destruct.
00:11:54
Speaker
Did you find that it also used those around you it was a way to maybe diffuse did you find yourself having to carry the load of. Harboring everyone else's mood and everyone else's emotion as well yeah so people always came to me i was the leader in my career my work.
00:12:13
Speaker
You grew up before you should have, yeah. There's so much counterparty on my chart too, so that plays a role. My Lilith is in Leo, so it's like the moment is when I want to be happy, naturally I can't because the environment is so negative and I became the opposite of what I saw, right? You know, drugs, there's violence, smoking, getting high, all the going to jail, having kids early, like that's what I was supposed to become, me.
00:12:38
Speaker
So I had to do everything in me not to be that and be something different, but I had to use the positivity to not feel the negativity that I probably get sucked in. And this is what I'm saying. And I'm sure you've done this already, but like in those moments and for everybody listening.
00:12:53
Speaker
I would invite you to, if you haven't yet, just take a moment to recognize that that was the best thing you could have done in the moment, is that. And yes, don't need it anymore, but oh my gosh, can you imagine the alternative? And I think for a lot of us, we can relate to like, well, what was the alternative?
00:13:11
Speaker
right like I know I don't want this and I don't like it. And it's one of those things that I wish I didn't have. But if I never had it, where would I be? right So just take a moment. Let's just all appreciate limiting beliefs for what they are and ways of thinking because they really do want to help. It's just a mistranslated message. And like I said earlier, there's no expiration date until we give it one.
00:13:31
Speaker
Now going on to your question that was such a good question why do we have such a hard time being authentic i think it's a lot of things i think society is probably one of the biggest ones right i think. How we grow up you know that influence we have from those that are supposed to be protecting us and supposed to be taking care of us and supposed to know better than we do.
00:13:52
Speaker
And when they can't figure it out you know we have to kinda do it for ourselves. It does kind of lay the groundwork for a very independent ambitious. You're gonna get what you want person and at the same time it's like.
00:14:07
Speaker
being myself and feeling the feelings like that's not safe because if I could do that, I would have done that. And if I did do that, I wouldn't have been safe. So it's one of those things where it is a practice, but it's the only way you're going to ever feel good feeling.
00:14:23
Speaker
your authentic feelings, even the low vibe ones, I don't want to say negative because you know they all have a purpose, but the low vibrational ones are going to move you faster than shoving it down and trying not to feel it. Because you could feel it, you're still going to feel it. It's just going to be a dull version for years possibly versus sitting with it, communicating with it, holding space for it, allowing it for what?
00:14:47
Speaker
10 minutes 30 minutes even a full day and then it's cleansed and processed and you can actually feel that weight lifted off like there's just nothing like it but yeah it's a little scary for sure.
00:14:58
Speaker
And I think not only that it's scary and it's uncomfortable, I think this is the thing, you know, my biggest challenge in life has been learning how to receive without resistance, right? That's one. Two, how do you ask for help? I'm not good at asking for help, right? That's two. And three, do people feel your emotions, feel your emotions? And it's like,
00:15:17
Speaker
How do you seal your emotions? How do you actually receive a call? Like I didn't get feedback growing up. So when people give me calls, I'm so good at deflecting because I'm like, what's so interesting is that when something negative happens, I can feel that in my body, but I can't feel the positivity in my body when someone's giving me a call.
00:15:35
Speaker
So how do you actually feel an emotion from someone on like me where I didn't know for so long because this was like a block that I'm like, no, I'm not feeling it in my mind, but I want to feel it in my mind. I'm not meditating sometimes, my mind is racing, but my body feels.
00:15:50
Speaker
Okay, can we do a little like practice because I literally just talked about this on a podcast two days ago So there's a reason it's coming up again.

Guided Practice: Identifying Emotions in the Body

00:15:58
Speaker
I think this would be fun So like I know everybody knows what it feels like to be anxious and little fun fact Anxiety and excitement are the exact same emotion. We just label them differently It's the emotion that you attach to it that makes it different but those physiological symptoms of excitement and anxiety are the same so Next, get anxious. Just pretend like you're excited and see what happens. Anyway, here we go. but Have everybody kind of tap into when the last time they felt anxious was. It could be right now or it could have been a week ago. you know Just kind of remember what that felt like in your mind. And then where did you feel it in the body? like Where is your anxiety living when you have it? Honestly, my mind just
00:16:41
Speaker
Do you have anxiety in your mind? I'm saying like, because I don't feel things in my body, right? Okay, so where did you feel that in the body? but That's why I said I don't process when I feel like maybe in my like my heart or like solar plexus, right? Yeah, this is what I'm saying. Like if you can sit and really think about like, where was it? It's going to be somewhere. It's going to be solar plexus or it's going to be in the chest. Sometimes you feel it in your throat like a tightening of this rope.
00:17:07
Speaker
I sometimes will get like cold, tingly fingers because like the blood's not falling. but There's always physiological symptoms to any emotion that you're having. When you feel sad, there's a heaviness. Oh my gosh, okay, where's the heaviness? It's probably in my heart, somewhere in there. But when you can locate it, the next step that I like to do is give it a color. we What's the color? What color is anxiety? Just think of one. You got this. I will say that.
00:17:33
Speaker
anxiety is black. Okay, for some people it could be yellow, it could be, for me it would probably like a pea green or something, like a nasty like vomit color. So where is it? What color is it? And then you can start like, when you do that, when you give it a location and you give it a color, it's a little bit of NLP, neuro-linguistic programming because you're visualizing like what it looks like. And then you can say, okay, it's the color black and it kind of is in my chest solar plexus area.
00:18:03
Speaker
What does it want to tell me? And then just sit. The hardest part of feeling it is sitting and waiting because we don't want to do that. We want to move. We want to distract ourselves. We want to get on with it. We want to just get over it. We want to, or stuff it down, which is what we have been doing, but we're not doing that anymore. We're going to sit. We're going to listen for a minute, for a long minute and just see what happens.
00:18:28
Speaker
I never have had anybody say, oh, well, nothing happened. It's usually something that you don't want to say or it comes up and she's like, eh, that can't be real. So I would just sit with a journal. I would say, what do you want to tell me? Just give it a voice and just see what happens. Chances are it's going to say something and then you can address it from there. Sometimes it's just about listening.
00:18:49
Speaker
And then you notice, oh, well, that's not real or that doesn't have to be the case. And you don't have to feel this way. And then you will feel it start to leave the mind, the body, all of it. But it's that. I think that's the hardest part of it for me is sitting with it and actually listening to what it is.

Sitting with Emotions for Processing

00:19:07
Speaker
Yeah, and it's hard. I remember I like oh i was hiking Machu Picchu, and I'm like, I guess it's toxic masculinity or whatever, but my patience is one thing, by the way, I'm afraid of ice. So I don't want to sit at the top of the hill and set an intention. I want to keep going. So anyway, I'm just like, I have some patience. And I had to sit with this. Not only on the top of the mountain, but in the airport.
00:19:30
Speaker
It's like, why is my patience so triggered? What is this bother? I'm not patient. So I got home to LA real lives. I don't want to wait because I don't want to see it. When I was flying back from Peru, coming to LA, got really sick. All I wanted to do is get a vitamin drip and get it out the way. I didn't want to feel any of that stuff be drought. had I just like, oh, look at you. You got a sick with you not feeling well.
00:20:00
Speaker
Yeah, it's one of the most common struggles. It's something I struggle with all the time is actually sitting. I talk about it all day. I do know the value in it and still, even still, it's like, um, but what if I didn't? What if I just went over here and did this? What if I distracted myself? What if I just didn't feel it? What if I didn't think about it? I'll tell you exactly what. It's going to get louder. You're going to make yourself sick and then have to sit. You're going to find it getting bigger and bigger to where you can't ignore the message. I heard somebody compare it to like,
00:20:27
Speaker
And i love this one cuz i have toddlers but it's like a toddler not talking at your ankle right it's like a minor annoyance and then it's gonna start slapping your leg and that's like okay okay whatever whatever and that's gonna start screaming. um And then you can't ignore it anymore and it hopefully. Won't be so bad that there's no going back but i've heard some stories of like ignoring the message ignoring the message and it manifests in such a way that it's like oh.
00:20:52
Speaker
Crap. like I don't know what to do now. so The benefits are so abundant and they far outweigh any discomfort that you could feel because the discomfort you're going to feel is not going to be forever. Shoving it down is indefinite. There's no end because you won't let there be.
00:21:12
Speaker
The meaning we give it actually takes us away from it, right? Yeah. Studying this new material, and it teaches you like, it talks about your soul,

Transforming Negativity into Learning

00:21:22
Speaker
right? While we're here, and your soul is transformed, your negativity, and anytime a problem arises, the first thing you should do is pause, and the question you should ask is, what a pleasure, right? Pleasure, this has happened. And then the second thing is, why is this in my movie?
00:21:38
Speaker
I need to learn. so Also, like partnerships, relationships, friendships, I realize it's never about the person. It's always about the relationship and friendship that you have with for yourself. But it's mirroring at you, yep. I can say, just say for instance, you know you said something that triggered me. You don't know it on this podcast. and I'm triggered. This has nothing to do with you.
00:22:00
Speaker
in me is causing me to feel triggered from something I need to look at. And I realize in relationships with most people who have been programmed to say, I love you, I love you, I love you, I'm in love with you. But really what you're saying is that you're in love with yourself because you love you. Because you can be in love with someone else. So love someone if you're not in love and love the vessel that you're in. And I've seen that over and over with clients and just people in general, even myself, I would give so much love to people.
00:22:28
Speaker
I would do things for people I wouldn't even do for myself. Yeah. You don't need to do that for yourself. You don't love yourself. So when I had that reflection, it's an internal journey. And I think that's the hard part. You have something that truly you talk about the soul of discovery, and also the power of self-talk. And you elaborate on those two different energies.
00:22:54
Speaker
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

The Power of Self-Talk

00:22:55
Speaker
So we definitely touched on it already in this episode, but the communication that you have with yourself, with your emotions and the kinds of dialogue that you're having about yourself and your goals and what you think you're capable of.
00:23:10
Speaker
Is the biggest soapbox i ever stand on and shout from the rooftops is she's like. There's not a voice on this earth that is more influential to you than your own there's not one i don't care who you admire it it has no way compared to your own voice so when you are.
00:23:27
Speaker
saying oh i can't do that or oh i'm so i can't see i can even pretend like i know what it's doing when i actually just pretend to say it's so i'm not gonna do that but you all have your own examples of things you said about yourselves in the past that are clearly not true but they're just wired into you and they limit you.
00:23:43
Speaker
It's having a big impact. So the place that I love to start with clients is just, I give them what's called a, it's just like a self-talk worksheet where I have them monitor, you know, we do the first session and then for the week leading up to the second session, I have them just monitor their self-talk. Write down the limiting thought.
00:24:04
Speaker
See, I'm trying to say examples, but I don't want to. so i'm just got me word'm Moving on. I don't know what you've seen today. What's the word? Give me an example of any limiting belief that you've ever said that you've had it by yourself. So when I first got into you know personal development, physical fitness, I really wanted to be a life coach at 24, 25. And I said, I don't have enough life experience to be a lifer, so I'll be a personal trainer. So then I got years went on, went on, went on. I studied all these people, Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Bob Proctor, all these people. So I kept trying to be like them.
00:24:37
Speaker
And then someone told me something, not too long ago, but we try to see how you can eat. Like, how did you become Eric bigger? So I'm giving all these other guys breaks and people trying to figure out how I did it. So then I'm ah um'm a pull back into life when I was talking about the soul, because we touched on it. But I want you to touch on it in a way where like, for instance, myself,
00:24:56
Speaker
Kind of hit like 80% of my dreams. I've written books, I've been on TV, I have a podcast, I've traveled the world, great. That was my ego dream. Wasn't my soldier, right? And so a lot of times people are like, you got to dream big. And I was like, okay, I did that. How do I get to the next level? And I always use this quote, success is getting what you want and fulfillment is doing what you're made for. So I want to know how can you get people up to that soul journey, evolution, purpose,
00:25:25
Speaker
And to get rid of the ego journey that they thought, they have everything they thought they should get, but they still feel empty. And for me, like I said, that was a real moment. I didn't think I had experience, so I became a trainer because of the experience.
00:25:38
Speaker
Yeah. And honestly, these questions do actually go very well together because most of what I see in clients is this some strand, some theme of I'm not good enough or I don't deserve to have what I want or whatever. So in those moments, and this is just one example of self-talk where I start with clients is that doesn't feel good, right? When we say that doesn't feel good. It's uncomfortable. It's gross. And it's likely not true. We know it's not true logically, right? Because people do all kinds of crap all the time that are less qualified. You can always find examples. So it's not true. It doesn't feel good.
00:26:15
Speaker
Two questions you can ask to rewrite it, and this is where we start. What's a better feeling thought, or what would I like to believe instead? Now, you can answer both of those or just one of those, but what I have them do is write down the better feeling thought and immediately cross out the old one. Visually seeing yourself crossing it out feels Amazing and it actually is rewriting those neuropathways so once we can get the self talk on board and that's just. You guys can do this in any area just please. I promise when she start noticing yourself talk you won't be able to not notice it and once you notice that you can rewrite it you have every ability to do that but once we get the self talk on board and start building that.
00:26:53
Speaker
expanding the self and empowering the self is kind of the name of the game. No matter what you come to me for, you could be coming to me for biting your nails or snoring and we're still going to fill you up. We're still going to empower you. We're still going to build those pillars inside so that when you leave these sessions and go out into the world, you know, you have everything you need to take on any turbulence that may come your way. I kind of like liken it to.
00:27:19
Speaker
just getting better shocks on the car that is your soul, your body, your avatar, you're still gonna have bumps, right? It's not gonna get easier, but you will get better at navigating that stuff. And I think once you're able to do that or feel capable, like that's it, that's the name of the game. Anything is possible if you feel like it is. And so that's what I hope my sessions do for people. And I think that they do. I think when someone leaves my service, they have everything they need to be able to take on the rest of their life. And if they want to feel great and feel relaxed and come back for a top-up session, I'm here, but likely you have it. You know you have everything you need. so And we do that lots of different ways. We do that through obviously hypnosis. I also do EFT sessions with clients. I love EFT. I do Reiki. Whatever the client needs, there's a lot of
00:28:12
Speaker
different services that I offer. I also work a lot with ancestors. I don't know if that's your audience, but I'm a genealogist on top of a hypnotherapist. So like the family tree aspect obsessed. And then spiritually in my work, I also like help clients talk to their ancestors if they want. We do ancestral healings. Oh my gosh, it's so much fun. i mean It's just fascinating when you kind of dig into it. Do you have a specific question or do you want to just see what but the cards have in store? There's one question that just popped up. Okay. You can ask it out loud or you can think. Yeah.

Spiritual Understanding of Wealth

00:28:49
Speaker
i mean ah the The question is, what is the real meaning of wealth and then whatever else you pull? That's it.
00:28:56
Speaker
Well, I'm going to start by saying you already know, but... Well, I mean, I don't want to know. That's my problem. I don't want to know from my side. I want to know... No, of course. Yeah, I am this exactly the same way. I'm like, let the divine tell me. Because I've always been on the journey within a long time. Like, I know what I... I know what I would... I've been doing it most of my journey, but I'm curious what another soul has in their vessel.
00:29:22
Speaker
Yeah, you know, this is the question for the first deck. What is the real meaning of wealth? And I'm pulling the answer from the divine master. So let's see which divine master is going to communicate. And then if you guys want to just think of a question for the second deck or just see what comes up, that's up to you. I love that it's this. It's just like, you never know. And it's always perfect, isn't it? Even when you don't want it, like when I just want a certain message and I get the one that I need, not the one that I want.
00:29:52
Speaker
Metatron and Sandolfin. Okay. So the message is, Synchronicity, Divine Connection, and Understanding Lessons. Now remember the question, what's the real meaning of wealth? I'm going to actually read from the book. So Sacred Connection, Synchronicity, Divine Connection, Understanding Lessons.
00:30:14
Speaker
Metatron's name means the throne next to God and he is an archangel of ascension. Therefore, he's particularly drawn to this time when humanity has the opportunity to move beyond old ways of being and fear-based limitations and into the new way of living and loving. Sandalfin's name means co-brother, which refers to the fact that he is a Metatron's energetic twin. He's the angel who helps us establish a heavenly connection.
00:30:37
Speaker
Message okay so when these archangels come together they establish a bridge between heaven and earth so we can understand the interconnectedness of all things the message is. Everything is working out for your highs good all the information and experiences that are coming to you now are bringing you.
00:30:53
Speaker
a greater sense of connection and understanding. Be open and aware to the signs and synchronicities that are occurring at this time, for these are miraculous reminders that there is a force beyond your human comprehension that is helping you be your best self and live a life filled with purpose and meaning and wealth, I'm going to say. And then it says, if you feel stuck or unsure, you're being encouraged to see your situation from a higher perspective. If it's not going according to the plan, it doesn't mean that it's not going according to the plan, the divine plan. The power that is greater than you, but also within you is working to help you learn from your life experience and understand that you're interconnected with your source and co-creator of your destiny. I like it. It's a lot, but I get it. It was a lot. I know what I got for me, but I mean, yeah. The real meaning of well. Before we pulled the card, I would have said like, yeah, find your purpose and live it. How much more wealthy could you be?
00:31:50
Speaker
what I was getting was your higher consciousness. Self as well, right? Because that's the greatest you can be in this moment, right? yeah And there's one more question. That was great. Thank you. that Because it resonated. And if you heard, it said, letting go of the old ways to get into this. And that's what we're actually doing in the collective. So the next question you is, what is the true embodiment of the collective consciousness in this time?

Embodiment of Love and Collective Consciousness

00:32:18
Speaker
All right, here we go. Oh, it's you. Part Guardian, love and let yourself be loved. great Ah, That's so great. Wow. Love, right? Understanding, understand everyone around you and know that you are them and they are you. Yeah. that What would you have said?
00:32:40
Speaker
I wouldn't kind of say something like consistent or congruent to that, but what I've discovered was that we're all here to help each other, serve each other. The competition is no competition. no one can be No one can be better than you because there's only one you, right? So I'm supposed to add value where I see fit, but also that's who I am. I am love, right? So if I'm sharing what I know and I'm sharing who I am, and I'm not only amplifying my presence, I'm amplifying whoever's in my life. And so I think as people, all people are here to help each other. We're not here to fight, but there's so much distortion and divide that I feel like is intentional for whatever reason. But here to help each other. I'm not living to hurt you. I'm living to help you help me help us help the world. So the more I help myself in my world, the more I can help people in the world.
00:33:29
Speaker
Yeah, and I think this card is is also a reminder that you are worthy of love and you deserve love. And yeah, just as you said, we're all here to experience that through others and through ourselves and continue to strengthen that connection with each other. I cannot remember who told me this or how I came with this information, but somebody once said to me,
00:33:53
Speaker
The next time someone cuts you off on the freeway or the next time somebody just makes you upset, somebody you don't know, like strangers, imagine that person as your sibling. like If your sister cuts you off on the freeway, you're like, oh, sis, why didn did you do that? That's so silly. like Come on. But you're not going to be, I mean, depending on the sister, you're not going to be like,
00:34:13
Speaker
It's your niece or your son. Somebody endearing to you. You're not going to react in the same way as you would as who you perceive as a stranger. So the practice, the embodiment of interconnectedness could just be something like that where you just imagine them as family. Imagine them as your sibling or your niece or nephew or your parent or your child and watch how your body changes and your reaction changes to that because they're all just living out their own movie they're all just living out their own path and the characters that they're playing in your movie. That person was cast as you know man who cuts off eric on the freeway and he played that park perfectly did he not he deserves an award for how well he executed those moves. Like that whole thing is like everyone around you is playing their park perfectly to get you where you need to go and you are playing your park perfectly in other people's lives to get them are they need to go and.
00:35:11
Speaker
That I think just kind of A, takes a load off of like, well, maybe I can relax about a lot of things and B, see them as family in a way. Yeah, because everyone's family, we're all family. Before we get out here, there's two more questions that I really want you to kind of like integrate in this episode because I think you need to know, or they should know, at least be aware.

Shifting Subconscious and Money Mindset

00:35:33
Speaker
One is, what's the process?
00:35:36
Speaker
the shift in the subconscious mind, and then two, I don't shift our money mindset. Okay. cool So the process to shift to subconscious mind is simple, but not easy, right? I mean, it's easier than a lot of things to be fair. It's very easy and relaxing. Yeah.
00:35:56
Speaker
yeah Yes, exactly. ah Hypnotherapy is so fun for me, so fun for the client, ah holistic, natural. It's one of the most natural states of being for a human to be in. We all go into hypnosis every single day, multiple times a day, so you're already an expert in how to do this. I just help you activate that state When you decide to rewrite those things as we spoke earlier, those outdated limiting beliefs that don't serve you anymore, those things that you really wish weren't there, but they are those loops that you get in and your thought process. You just kind of find yourself running on the hamster wheel and not getting what, you know, the things that you desire. Hypnotherapy can help you access those things.
00:36:38
Speaker
communicate with them, release them, replace them with things that feel better. It's very quick compared to you know most things because we're going at the source, we're going to the subconscious where all of these things originate and kind of grow and take root. So what we can do there is not only release those things that have taken root that don't serve you, but we can plant new seeds of things that help you embody who you really are, who you want to be, the path that you're walking on.
00:37:06
Speaker
Honestly, everyone is living in our program, right? And I am yeah they say go to sleep in, affirmations, binaural beats, all these things. But I'm more saying, how do we like hypnosis, right? This one way. If we're getting that access to that individually, how can we reprogram our subconscious? But just to talk to hypnosis, when you do that for someone subconscious, is it completely gone?
00:37:33
Speaker
Like if I say, oh, I want to maybe just trust people for the rest of my life because my child didn't allow me to trust and you reprogram that. Is that completely gone? Like, how does that work when you have that process within your work?
00:37:44
Speaker
It really depends on how long we've been living with this. If it's a long childhood thing, again, it's not going to be as long as traditional therapy. It's not going to be years. It might just be two or three sessions where we work on the same thing. Let's say we work on the trust thing and you healed or processed a lot of what was going on. But during that process you discover, oh, it's also, there's a branch off of it. That's also this vulnerability. I don't want to be vulnerable, whatever. And so then we'll work on that. And then, you know, so,
00:38:12
Speaker
It is a process for both of us because you will discover things about yourself that you may not have known were a part of it. Things that you may not have known at all were a part of you. So it's really quite a journey, but it's again, it's very quick.
00:38:28
Speaker
When we know what we're looking for, when we know what we're working on, it's you know one or two sessions of like mass subconscious work. It's the closest thing to magic that we have without Harry Potter. I really felt like I was in Hogwarts when I was learning this. and At the same time, I really felt disappointed because it's not. I thought I was going to have this superpower, but it's like, no, it's something people do every day and you're just activating it. and it kind of made me feel really cool and also like not as cool as I thought because it's such a real process that we all know how to do and we are doing every day. you know We talk about manifesting. You're manifesting every day. You are 100% successful at being exactly who you are based off of what your subconscious believes is safe for you. The cool thing about hypnotherapy is you get to decide what your subconscious believes is safe. And to jump off of that, I, as a hypnotherapist, can never, ever, ever
00:39:21
Speaker
Make you do say think believe feel anything that goes against your morals or beliefs it is not possible so any movies you watched. Not gonna call me out but any movies you watch this a different are not really fiction and very good movies they're not real so i need to work very hard to dispel these things but.
00:39:40
Speaker
It's only your agenda. It's only what you want. So you know we're talking about money. What is it about money that feels unsafe? What do you feel about people who have money? And when we know those things, we can craft hypnosis around those specific things and learn To not only heal those things that are holding you back, but as I said earlier, give you those beliefs that reflect where you're going. There's so many really fun hypnosis that I have for money. You know, there's like a visualization where we plant, where we tend to our abundance garden. And it's like so nice and relaxing and really fun. And it actually does work too.
00:40:17
Speaker
Teach your subconscious that it is safe to not only have more than enough money, but to understand what money really is and cultivate a real relationship with the energy of money. I think that's a lot of people's challenge. and I get DMs a lot, even in my life, right? you know And mine came from my money story when I was young. But I don't know if you've heard of Ken Honda. He talks about happy money. um Happy money, spending your money with gratitude. It always returns. Or when you have a bill or something to pay, you say, I'm about to end, I'm about to out, meaning thank you, money.
00:40:48
Speaker
When there's sad money, when you're spending your money, when you don't really want to, or there's fear behind your money, or you're making money off of something you don't really enjoy doing, so your money's not really happy.
00:41:00
Speaker
So he gives you an exercise where you say, okay, sit down and just visualize if you're on a date, you're on a date with money and money. Yes, I do this. yeah Like, how would you be? Would you be engaging with? Yup. I would be kind of low. But yeah, all these things, I think, for me, looking at the collectives and looking at the people I think were working even myself.
00:41:20
Speaker
It all comes up in all people. I mean, most of my clients are high wealth individuals. They make tons of money, but they still have the same emotions when the money is not coming in or the money. Oh, if I lost $2 million in the stock market, there's no different than someone who just lost $200 from their pocket or their program. The emotions I was saying that the challenges might be different, but I've realized it's consistent. And I want to grow to have a universal, loving, warm relationship with money, no matter what it is. And be whole and money. It doesn't matter. And I think the world is money, money, money, money, money, money, but then you get it and you're like, I don't feel what I have. So what is this about? Like you said. Most of the time, yeah. We are.
00:42:04
Speaker
the frequency, our energy, our vessel. So this was great. and and be Before we go, can I give your audience some questions? They can ask to figure out their money relationship. So really quickly, if you're wondering what your energetic relationship is with money, you can just get into like a light meditative state. You can just close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths and then picture money. What does it look like to you? For me, for some reason, it looks like a stack of money with the eyes, you know, like the Geico stack.
00:42:30
Speaker
Those old commercials is just like the stack of money with like googly eyes on it. That's my version I don't know why for some people it's a diamond or a money sign whatever it is for you picture money and then ask it How do I treat you and see what it says?
00:42:46
Speaker
and then ask it, how, and I have more of you, and then see what it says. So the really surprising thing about these questions is- Hold on. Right? Is something coming up? i said yeah if nataz is just now You know, that's such a great question for someone in a relationship. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, partner, how do I treat you? Yeah. And what would make you feel more comfortable around me?
00:43:12
Speaker
Yeah, absolutely. These are really, really great questions in a lot of areas, but yeah. If you want to get to like real quick, down and dirty, what is your relationship with money? Does it feel safe around you? Does it feel like you are just trying to get rid of it? Does it feel like you're chasing it all the time? Does it feel scary? you know so It's going to have an answer and your job is literally just to listen. Again, sit and listen and see what comes up.
00:43:38
Speaker
and Get that knowledge and wisdom for yourself and then you can begin to change how you are, how you react and how you behave around money. we'll suit questions No more gratitude. The questions are again, what is those two questions that we remember? Well, for money or, you know, partners, how do I treat you? And how can I have more of you? And that's a great question to ask yourself.
00:44:01
Speaker
Hey, self, how do I treat you? Yeah, that is a good one. I guess I didn't really realize how good it was just for general life, but it is. They are a really good questions. I encourage everyone to check in regularly with these questions. So how can we find you? How can we have more Lindsay in our life? We're programming subconsciously.
00:44:23
Speaker
Well, I am on all the socials, Lindsay Robinson. I'm sure it's a little bit different spelling, but you'll find it there. It's Lindsay Robinson. I'm on Instagram and TikTok and Facebook. And I have a website, LindsayRobinson.com, where I have services like one-to-one client work I do via Zoom. I also have a membership. This is my baby. I love it. There's hypnosis audios in there. There are toolkits that are curated for specific goals. So there's a money mindset one.
00:44:50
Speaker
There's a mindset reset. There's two inner healing ones part one and part two There's a return to self which is like, you know getting to know the self which is always valuable There's manifesting one. Those are probably my favorite things at the moment. There's also EFT sessions in there The membership is the hub of all of my best digital content. So if you want to what is the membership monthly?
00:45:14
Speaker
39 a month, and there's also just the audios. If you just want to get my hypnosis audios, I think that's 20 a month. If you just want to dip your toes into what hypnotherapy can do for you without the risk of having to invest a lot, it's a really good resource for people just starting out and learning about hypnosis and they're banging. All my stuff in there is my best, best stuff, yeah. I know we don't really say banging enough anymore. How do you bring it back?
00:45:39
Speaker
ran We'll get all that in the show notes and I'll make sure your team ah c sent me all those links. Yeah. Well, yeah, any final words for the collective, for the people listening, for the people tuning in, any positivity, motivation, insight, whatever your higher self, spirit, soul is calling in in this moment? Yeah. I guess two things. You know more than you think you do. That's where the sitting lesson comes in. You know more than you think you do.
00:46:06
Speaker
and self talk pay attention to start paying attention there's no downside to starting to rewrite how you speak about yourself and about your goals and it will move you so fast once you can start to rewrite some of that stuff so you're capable you're connected your loves you're safe to have what you want and you know more than you think you do You're safe to have what you want.
