In this episode of the Spiritual Fitness Podcast, Eric Bigger and Ashley George, dive into Ashley’s spiritual awakening, her perspectives on faith, and how connecting with one’s innate spirituality can foster a more fulfilling life. Ashley shares compelling experiences from her journey, underlined by the transformative power of angel readings and intuitive insights.

Together, they discuss the importance of moving away from a fear-based understanding of religion and instead embracing the unconditional love that God represents. Ashley emphasizes how reliance on external validation often disconnects us from our inner selves. By embracing our spirituality and intuition, we can gain empowerment and clarity. Learn how Ashley's encounters with archangels, particularly Archangel Michael, have aided her and others in bridging the gap between spiritual awareness and everyday life.

Also in this episode:

  • Spiritual awakening involves tuning into the inner self and detaching from external validations, enhancing personal empowerment and clarity.
  • Connection with angels and spirit guides can facilitate personal growth by reminding us of our intrinsic worth and potential.
  • The true essence of God is unconditional love. Shifting the narrative from fear to love can contribute significantly to spiritual growth.

00:00:35
Speaker
It's Miracle Season.
00:00:40
Speaker
Spiritual Fitness, Spiritual Fitness Podcast, back again with another episode of it. And I'm excited because I have a very, very strong presence and soul within the Spiritual Fitness Podcast today. I got Ashley George. She's an author. She's a mom. She's a wife. And the podcast host.
00:01:01
Speaker
of Well and the Nearest Soul, and she has a book coming out, Alive and Well, Awakening to Your Angels. Hopefully I said that right, Ashley. Ashley, how are you? Great. You did great. I'm great, Eric. Thanks for having me on. This is fun.

Connection Through Angel Reading

00:01:19
Speaker
Ashley and I connected probably like over a month ago through a mutual client and we've been working together for some time. And what I've noticed ah about Ashley is that she has so much power and energy moving through her about spirituality, God consciousness, truth consciousness, angels. And I had the opportunity to be in her space and she did an angel reading for me, which was transformational.
00:01:48
Speaker
It opened me up to more healing and more clarity. So it was great. But here we are. We got Ashley on a podcast today, Ashley. So talk to us. Who are you to the people who don't know you? Like, I know you. We work together a few times a week. You have a podcast. You have a book coming out. You're a mom of three.
00:02:07
Speaker
I mean, you're a wife. I mean, can we say you was Miss North Carolina in 2020? All-American volleyball athlete, and you're here. So talk to us. Who is Ashley George from your perspective?

Balancing Motherhood and Spirituality

00:02:22
Speaker
Well, that is a very big question, but thanks for having me on. It's fun to be here. It's fun to connect with your energy as always. and I think to the outside world, like that question of who I am probably is confusing at times for a lot of people wearing a lot of different hats of just normal mom life, you know, at the baseball games and, you know, at the school, school board meetings, all of that kind of stuff. But also there's a big part of me that
00:02:52
Speaker
really, really has the ability to really open up spiritually and share my gifts and talk about it. So some gums, Eric, I do feel like I can live a double life. But what my book really is about talking about is how um I really think, which I know you talk about so much yourself, especially on this podcast, about like just the wholeness aspect of really being authentically you.
00:03:19
Speaker
and showing up that way and how that can transform so many people's lives in just our everyday. What I'm talking about, like the mom life, the crazy hustle and bustle of just our everyday life. and For me, my journey, I was very into wellness, um started a lifestyle blog eight or nine years ago, which you know we forget how fast social media has changed quickly over the last few years. so nine years ago, it wasn't like people started talking about blogging and putting up pictures on Instagram. It wasn't as like what it is now, like there wasn't the word influencer or anything like that. And so my wellness path really has taken me, it really took me all over the place.
00:04:05
Speaker
But what it ended up bringing me was a very, very powerful spiritual awakening, which I never expected. And I thought I had that peace within me because I have faith and I went to church. So my book really dives into what that meant for me personally. It still does, like just showing up authentically as me.
00:04:27
Speaker
Yeah, when you think about the church and religion, or just the word, you know, the term, the name, when you think of God, right?

Personal Understanding of God

00:04:36
Speaker
What is your definition of God in your mind?
00:04:40
Speaker
unconditional love. That is the part where it was hard for me and I separated myself through religion because I thought, this is just my own personal experience of like growing up. and it was always I always say i had so many questions and I was so curious about all the big life questions and some things were just not making sense to me because I think I was just taking them or being told at face value, like, no, this is what it is, this is God. But I think what I found was God is truly love and he's within us and we're not separate from it. I was thinking he was like a man up in the sky and like some people are worthy enough of his love and some people aren't. And you have to like be here, you know, you have to be like live your life a certain way if you want to be accepted by him or you don't. And so that was always where I struggled with. And it felt like my heart was always like, I don't feel like this is right, but I couldn't find the truth anywhere.
00:05:38
Speaker
So anyways, my book really dives into my journey over the past few years of really being like, oh my gosh, awakening to this huge part that is within us. Everyone has it. And I feel like it can be life changing for so many people to feel connected to their authentic selves. They're true of who they really are.

Quest for Truth Beyond Dogma

00:06:00
Speaker
And I think it's interesting because just listening to you speak, it just seems like most of your life you've been a truth seeker, right? You want to seek the truth because you're curious. And sometimes when we're seeking truth our questions are challenged by people who are just so right in their own mind of what God or what religion is.
00:06:21
Speaker
And I remember probably like 11 years ago, someone was telling me he's like, how could we fear God if God is love, right? And then, you know, I think about language and I think about diction, right? Word choice and how words can really distinguish or depict how we see life or the meaning we give things. And someone was like, well, how about the word reverence, right? You have reverence for God and not fear of God.
00:06:43
Speaker
Because most people are not as aware as you might be or I might be when it comes to spirituality, so they might take it as face value and dive deep into that truth of what someone said. In my mind, I'm looking at it as, because I had the same things. I remember when I came to LA, 23, I went to Torrey Roberts Church, Hemisera, Jake Roberts, his wife. This was before they were married.
00:07:06
Speaker
And I went to the church and I did like this whole thing for like nine months where I paid my ties. I didn't have sex. I didn't curves. Like I was just trying to be this church goer and I was seeing so many things. And to be honest, I was judgmental because I was like, these people are hypocrites. That's what I was saying. And I said, hold on. Why do I feel guilty when I'm not a bad person? It was like, coercion, right? like how the word God is used to put guilt and shame on some of us. And I always would question like, why do I feel bad or shameful when I didn't do anything? And I said the energy of that puts people in such a low frequency that they can't really receive the God that's within because they're putting
00:07:48
Speaker
the Jesus of the God on the stage that's in the sky that they have no connection to. They just listen to the words for some of us. And your way of being and from writing your book and having a podcast, being a mom, because I always tell people, if you don't believe in God, how do you think women can have babies? Like that's a miracle, right? Like for you to just give birth, like it's three kids.
00:08:10
Speaker
But what is some steps or practical ways that people can connect to the God within and have that unconditional love hovering over their life in such an authentic,

Connecting with the God Within

00:08:23
Speaker
truthful way? like What is the process of it? Because I think, I would say 80% of people, I could be wrong, are not really connected to God consciousness the way they could if it wasn't religion. You get what I'm saying? How would we go about that?
00:08:38
Speaker
That's a really good question too. There's a few different different things. I think that one, I think sometimes it's as simple as asking, but just asking to be connected to that part of you, praying about it. And what I think so many of us do, which I don't think it's anyone felt, I always say this, my spirituality has been an expansion of the faith I've already had.
00:09:00
Speaker
I'm not like putting down all religions. There is a lot of beautiful ways that people can feel connected to God within in religion. I just think a lot of times we take so much value of what is outside of us, what somebody's telling us, like the route to God, how to get there, what's right, what's wrong, and we don't just go to straight to the God and ask ourselves.
00:09:21
Speaker
We take all the outside noise, and I talk about this so much, but especially as a mom, there's so much outside noise in the world right now. It's coming at us in many different ways, not just religion. as Everything is to do this, don't do this, eat this, don't do this, believe this, polish this, don't do this. There's so much noise, so much heaviness.
00:09:42
Speaker
But when we can really just simply not take all the outside noise just for a minute, come back to ourselves. No one has to even know you're doing this. Take a moment, breathe and ask. And it can sound crazy, but it's like, what do you hear next in your mind or your heart? Like what comes to you? What do you think about when you ask these questions? And I think really,
00:10:05
Speaker
just those little baby steps of kind of quieting the outside noise and coming back and slowing down and being present and listening to your own heart. Like we have so much wisdom that lies right within us. We have all the answers. We're so disconnected disconnected from all of that kind of outside noise coming in to tell us who we are, what we need to do, what to believe, who's right, who's wrong. And actually, Eric, yeah I think you said like 80% of people you think maybe, I think there's a lot of people awakening right now like to this part about they're searching for something deeper, or maybe they don't feel connected to the church or religion like they were brought up in, but they're still like, but I still do believe in Jesus and God.
00:10:50
Speaker
And they're confused on what does that mean for them or what does that look like for them. And so I do think it's a time we're headed into a lot more truth, a lot more of light, even though that can bring up collectively a lot of disturbing or crazy things when truth comes to light. But I do think people are awakening or seeking this part of them.
00:11:13
Speaker
Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, we go back to 2020, the pandemic was a real awakening for a lot of us because we had so much time to ourselves, right? You know, COVID happened, pandemic, some people transitioned to the other side. Some of us survived. I had clients that almost passed away that survived and now they're living on the other side of things and they're more tapped into their spirituality when they never had to depend on it.
00:11:36
Speaker
And I think what's happening is that everybody's just having a curious eye and a curious mind. And so not only I think people listening right now and also watching, not only ask questions, but feel. I remember when somebody would say something and it would feel off, I would question it.
00:11:54
Speaker
I don't believe that. And I think since so much of life, we give our power away. We give our autonomy away. I even tell clients, friends, people, even people listening, don't take everything we're saying or what I'm saying for face value. Take what you need and use it for your life because that's how you move through life. And I think part of spirituality that I feel like most people don't talk about because we always talk about intuition. We don't really talk about discernment, right?
00:12:20
Speaker
Being discerned and knowing, you know, instead of believe, Oh, I believe this is true. Look, I know this is true. I'm certain about this. I have so much certainty in my creative, my God, my universe that I'm discerned that I should make this decision, right? Or God is real, whatever that is. And I think in your book.
00:12:39
Speaker
And I want to touch a little bit now, go into like the archangels, right? Angelican beings, spirit guides, because in my angel reading that I witnessed within the container you held, I was like, it was so clear, right? It was so clear that these angels and these spirit guides that was around me were helping me in my life. But I think in times,
00:13:02
Speaker
We even beat ourselves up or we think we don't have as much as we do because we can't see it. But if you can feel that you have covenants or protection and you have a team of army, because I know I do, of spiritual beings, angels around you, you'll have more certainty and you'll have more faith. You'll have more love of self and you'll be able to trust that God within and move forward.

Guidance from Archangels and Spirit Guides

00:13:23
Speaker
So can you just really elaborate on the art angels, who they are, what they are?
00:13:29
Speaker
how we can find synergy in that space for spirituality for people who's open to that way of living. yeah First of all, I love that you said like feeling the truth because I'm big on that. I really feel when you're connected to who you are in your heart, it's simple as that. like People can say things to us, but we like feel the truth. like Do we feel like something's off with that? Do we not? like That's really a great way of leaning into your discernment in the truth of who you are because you can feel it.
00:13:59
Speaker
And that brings me to the angels, specifically is, one, they're definitely here to open up your own truth. I love to talk about them and teach them that they are really here to like empower you to really be your best version of yourself.
00:14:15
Speaker
And what you were saying like spirit guides, angels, I believe that we all have spirit guides. We all have guardian angels that are with us our whole lives from born to we transition. They were you like, I believe they were with us before, you know, we all signed up to do life together in this lifetime and they're going to be with us after. And then the arch angels are here for everybody.
00:14:37
Speaker
They're just when you're assisting humanity. If you call men, we have free will. You don't have to. If you don't feel resonated with this, you don't have to. But the angels are talked about in the Bible over 300 times. They're actually talked about in every single world religion. They are the messengers of God. And actually, Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Raphael translate in almost every single world religion.
00:15:01
Speaker
Kind of the main angels we've heard throughout the Bible and different stories. My question always is to everybody, I'm like, we've read this Bible or the scripture or any world religion and there's so much magic in it, right? There's angels or people coming. There's so much spirituality. Like where do we think all that went? It was just in the time those stories were in and it's never again been on earth. Like there's nothing that magical happens or angels don't come anymore.
00:15:29
Speaker
or we don't like hear from Jesus. And I'm like, there's so much spirituality, name religion, and connection. like The whole entire New Testament is written through a lens and nobody actually talked to Jesus. He was like a spiritual connection through Jesus.
00:15:45
Speaker
And so i'm like we're so easy to believe all this i can't understand why we feel so crazy to think that we still have angels with us everyday. You know you kinda like when i know myself i have question myself so many times like am i going crazy is this crazy.
00:16:02
Speaker
very hard on myself through all of like the angels and like really awakening to this part of me. But the more I dive into it, I'm like, they've always been here. We just have been told to like fear this part of us or disconnect from it from all that outside noise or only take What other people say is true for how we should live or be connected to God. What the angels always say is like your connection is right in your own heart. It's up to you if you like want to be connected to this part of yourself or not. You're not going to be mad or you're in trouble or be judged. They understand all of the ways that we have been taught or not taught of religion or connection to God.
00:16:45
Speaker
Oh, and i write about this in the book too there's nobody outside of us that has like energetic scissors that like can cut our connection off. Or turn it on it is completely up to you are you open up to that part of you or do you wanna close it down and i think you can do that you can totally be open to it inside religion.
00:17:05
Speaker
It's just, we put so much value on other people telling us what's right and wrong for everybody listening. I'm like, why don't you ask your own heart? Like, what's that telling you? Do you know your own self? Like, are you connected to that part of you?
00:17:21
Speaker
And with the angels getting circling back to the arch angels specifically, I think they are such great friends, mentor people who want to like validate and empower this part of you. They're here to help you like remember the truth, who you really are, validate you and your soul, help lead you to your higher self and higher path in this lifetime, which can be so beautiful, magical, all the things.
00:17:48
Speaker
When I think of church and I think of religion, and I think of all these indoctrinals of you know God, Jesus, Mother Mary, Mary Mandolin, all these powerful people within the Bible, within church. you know When I think about spiritual fitness and spirituality, I also like to tell people like spiritual fitness is part of you being fit within your spirit. So in life, just from a little tangible perspective, people listening and watching, is that the things that can cut us off from our true self, our authentic self, our spiritual self, is the choices we allow our spirit to integrate in, right? The food we eat, the gossip, the conversations we have with others, with ourselves,
00:18:34
Speaker
the TV shows, the music we listen to, the people who we take advice from, the environment we live in, and a lot of it, you know, our ancestors, right? You know, past lives. So all these little things that we're not aware of, what we do normally, unconsciously, like watch TV, go to work, social media. Those things has entities and energies and spirits within them. Alcohol,
00:18:57
Speaker
drugs, all these things to discombodulate us from our hearts, right? From our purpose. And what I know about Ashley, I met Ashley probably like a month ago when we started working. I was on my way to a men's retreat and Joshua retreat. I spoke about this on a podcast before, but she was the one who acknowledged our angel Michael that was around me.

Role of Archangel Michael

00:19:20
Speaker
So can you give the people listening, like, what does our angel Michael do and what did it mean in my life? Because then I want to kind of come back to what I do in life and how it makes sense for people to be alive and well and connect your angels.
00:19:34
Speaker
Yeah, well, first of all, I love Archangel Michael. He's a huge presence in my life. And I call upon him every day, especially as a mom with kids, he's definitely the protector angel. So I like to kind of lead and teach about him in that way. He has a very strong presence, a very strong energy. And I think most art, you know, you see him in kind of like armor,
00:19:55
Speaker
or you kind of think of him as like a soldier or leader. The thing about Michael is he has such a strong and masculine energy, but he's also so connected to his heart. So what he talks about is that heart and mind connection and how powerful that is, especially for men. That true masculine is that heart and mind, because we need that. We need the leaders, the men who are also connected to their heart, which we see that being played out all over the world in different ways and in history of men who are leading who maybe aren't connected, right, to that part of them and they're leading with their ego and it becomes dangerous. So what a true masculine really is, is somebody who has that powerful connection, both mind and heart.
00:20:42
Speaker
And as somebody who can listen and validate, hear, empower people, you know, it's not just coming from this place in their mind where it's all about, what do I get? How can I control people? How can I greed and more and more and more?
00:20:58
Speaker
And I think it's missing, but I think what Archangel Michael is really doing with you, specifically, is you're helping men understand this part of them as well. The females have been awakening for the past few years, a lot in the divine feminine. I really believe strongly that Men are really sticking as part of them too. They need it. Suicide rates. Look at what is happening to like men and young boys and mental health. like There's just so much. so I'm like really passionate about it, especially as a mom to a boy. I'm like, we need our boys to like know that they can have emotions. They can have that power within their heart, but still also be a leader. Masculinity that we think of, but not like the toxic masculinity.
00:21:46
Speaker
Yeah, because I was ah speak a lot on a podcast about coaching and what I do and how I do it. And I've talked about like all the success and progress I had through the vessel of women helping them transition through divorce this past year. And I've been getting data on like, oh, wow, what is the collective missing from men? Because I see what the women are growing through. And I'm starting to see that most men were not connected to our hearts.
00:22:13
Speaker
because we've never been programmed or conditioned to be in our hearts. So I believe and I know God is using me to continue to heal and evolve, to be connected to my heart and mind. So I can be that masculine leader who can help men and women come together in a divine union, not only for themselves, but for the partnership that they want to have in life. And it could be with siblings, it could be with coworkers. And I think men, we just got to soften until our heart to open up our powerful mind that we already have. We just don't trust it yet because we haven't even done a due diligence. It doesn't feel safe. We don't feel confident and we don't want to be judged. I know I didn't want to be judged for my true feelings or my vulnerability or my fears because then I'm like, oh, you're not going to like me.
00:22:56
Speaker
However, that's a story that we tell ourselves. That's a story that's been passed down that our dad's dad tell us, don't cry, don't show your feelings. But to be alive and well as a man, you've got to be connected to your heart and your mind where you can be nurturing and you can be strong.
00:23:14
Speaker
you can be open to feedback and you can give feedback with love, right? And I think it's time for all of us collectively to be alive and well within our own regard so we can make the world we live a better place. Now, when you think about your book, how did you get on the topic to name your book alive and well? Where did that terminology come from? like How did you channel that or where did that start?
00:23:39
Speaker
Really good question, Eric. I feel like it came to me one day. I mean, obviously we've heard that term before. It's not like I invented that saying, but it came so strongly to me one day. This is a few years ago. Like if I kept hearing it, alive and well, alive and well, and I would just write it down. I felt like there's like the angels. I felt like we're like, there's a song. And I was like, what am I going crazy? This is another example of, I thought I was going crazy with all this, but I kept feeling it strongly. And I'm like, why am I resonating with these two words so well?
00:24:09
Speaker
So I just started writing it. I felt connected to it. And then I hosted my first retreat a couple of years ago and I named it Alive and Well. And I just feel like it embodies the philosophy of everything that I am talking about, but what I went through personally too on this wellness journey or just through motherhood of like really finding all of our puzzle pieces, learning our different life experiences, good and bad, and really coming together to know like, if you are living Alive and Well with an open heart,
00:24:39
Speaker
like You're going to be putting yourself on the right path. No, we're human. We're going to have good days. It doesn't mean it's perfect. There's no such thing. We still have the human days. We don't want to do laundry and we don't want to do our hundred things. that you know like That's life. It's not easy to be human. I mean, you won't ever go through hard things, but it does make life easier. I feel like when we get into this flow state and connect to this part of us in our heart, because It's like we know we have power within us. We have a team around. We are like divinely guided and true miracles, I believe can happen with this because that's who we are. Like that's within us.
00:25:19
Speaker
It's true. and And I think it's so empowering to know that there's people like you in the world that knows this, that's lived it, that is alive and well and want better for the collective, want better for the world you serve. And it's important to tap into our spirituality, our spiritual fitness. You know, it is miracle season every day of the year because we're living life. We're breathing air. I want you to talk a little bit. I think we spoke about this off camera about sensitivity of the kids that's being born today, like how they are really going to be the leaders or they're really changing

Nurturing Spiritual Awareness in Children

00:25:51
Speaker
the planet. Can you kind of give people a little bit of insight on what that means or how you see it? Because I think it's important that all the kids has been born in the last 7, 10, maybe 15 years or just kids being born into the collective now. What do you feel and what do you sense?
00:26:06
Speaker
I love this topic, and I'm really passionate about it. Obviously, I'm a mom of three young kids, so I have 10, 9, and 6. But I feel like just being around children, except for the last decade, and all types of kids, through their school, friends, sports, all the activities, are i just everywhere I go, and what I know now, I just see things so differently.
00:26:28
Speaker
And i collectively, sometimes I'm like, I wish we could just look at what we're doing with children differently, what we're teaching them. And there's so much surrounded too about like mental health and anxiety and ADHD and all of this so much, so young with kids. And sometimes I'm like, I think they're just sensitive to energy. They're like,
00:26:49

They're feeling other people's feelings so easily. It's hard for them to be confined in a classroom for eight hours and not be able to have all this energy come out of them some way. And some of them, I think, are so old souls that they're like, this is so boring. I don't have a right to be in a class and listen to the teachers speak.
00:27:07

But I see it so much. I think kids in general are connected to this part of them. Every kid is. And then we get conditioned to shut this part down, just like all of us. Part of life here on Earth through either religion is like making us feel separate or fear this part of us. Not everybody, but a lot of kids or trauma in big or small that shuts down their lights. They don't feel connected to their heart. There's a lot of shame. There's a lot of guilt. There's also a lot of pressure on kids. Very young. I see this with just my kids and sports and all the craziness.
00:27:41
Speaker
There's just a lot and it goes back to that outside noise. There's just so much coming in and the kids can feel that too. They're sensitive to energy and when they start feeling disconnected from that light, who they really are, you start seeing them change. They do you know start to just kind of have their lights dimmed, like that life, the anxiety, the Expectations they aren't good enough for how do they fit in and I'm just learning so much that I feel like I just want to be an advocate for all children. They are incredible. They are old souls being born right now and are here and they do need to know like
00:28:20
Speaker
who they are. What if we started doing like sound healing with them or energy healing or just talking about their light or who they really are or I don't know. There's so many things I'm like, I wonder if we could start running. I don't know how to measure what this isn't my like area of expertise. Like how do we figure this out? But I'm just passionate of like collectively can we start looking at this different? Like maybe that child is just so sensitive to energy and needs to understand how to ground himself.
00:28:48
Speaker
how to like focus his energy, how to align himself, validate what's going on in his own mind. So many kids connect to other things too. And they think they're crazy or they're told they're crazy about their parents.
00:29:01
Speaker
And the interesting thing about that is because I suffered from that for sure as a kid. And when you were speaking, I got the vision of like me, but just thinking of any average adult or child and like light is like coming out of their heart space. But out of that light coming out of their heart space, it's like all this darkness and they just, they close it. What I realized in life.
00:29:25
Speaker
the more we see dark things, whether it's the news, media, anxiety, depression, like we're not even seeing it, we feel it, we become it because it's so normal, it's so active, it's so common. So anything that's common in our 3D world, if we're not tapped into the five wheel to our spiritual, we're going to embody what we see more than what we are. And because the light has not been acknowledged in such a beautiful way, we don't know how to accept it in ourselves. And I see it with people that's older than me, like when they getting fusses with their spouse or they upset, you see the little kid of them come out, right? It's super emotional and I'm like, oh wow, this is like the little kid of them like wanting to be right or wanting someone to hear them. And I'm like, oh, they never dealt with this part of themselves because the world that we live in has shut that part of us down, but you still need that purity or that innocence of that awareness of, because if not, eventually,
00:30:20
Speaker
you can cause confusion within your own life your relationships and what you do and i believe the kids are the future and i and that's why my intention is to help more young men i got a group right now that i'm working on is kinda like a. I can't say operation but like experiment to help both young men of twenty three and i'm my at more over time.
00:30:38
Speaker
just to see what's in their mind right see what's in their hearts and see where they're going and what they're thinking because they're the future they're coming up after me so I want to pour into these young men and young women I mean I got niece and I got four nephews so for what you do for alive and well and angel readings People listen because I know people are more curious about what you offer outside of getting a book.

00:31:01
Speaker

Because really, for me, you opened me up to like a different realm that I already knew, but you made me more certain in it because the validation from the reading. How do we get in your energy to work with you and get this information?
00:31:23

00:31:44
Speaker
connecting to the angels. I love teaching my kids about them, how they can help pray. I talk about Jesus. I talk about all of these things. like These are important things to teach our kids, but I just don't want my kids to ever feel separate than that. They are within them, and that heart connection like we've been talking about this whole time and is so important to me.
00:32:07
Speaker
or your book, Alive and Well, what is the biggest takeaway that you want people to get and what do you want people to learn from the book?

Awakening to Spiritual Guidance

00:32:15
Speaker
I would love people to awaken to this part of them. all Be more curious. They have such a beautiful team around them. They're divinely guiding them. It's the world we live in. We feel alone and we feel disconnected a lot of times.
00:32:31
Speaker
our emotions, what we're going through, the struggles, just even little things day to day. I know moms can even feel lonely at times of the struggles, of the hustle bustle. and So I think just like knowing that we have guidance around us, a team that just hear love and cheering us on, and people who we can ask for help. That's big.
00:32:53
Speaker
It does open up like magic patterns for us in our just everyday life. You start to really see little things. You're like, oh my gosh, you know I know that that was for me. This person who came in and just randomly said this, or you see a sign, you start to energetically flow into your higher purpose, your higher path, your higher love.
00:33:16
Speaker
you bring back that joy that present that we are meant to have in our life it's just so many of us we feel the heaviness the anxiety coming so many of us and so i feel like as humans i understand no matter what we've all been through a lot and.
00:33:35
Speaker
It's never going to be easy to be a human, and but it should feel really good to be alive. and It should feel joy. We're searching for all of that in all the wrong ways. I think sometimes we take our human life too serious. It's okay to watch a show or read a silly book or be laughing with somebody. Live life, be human. hey like That is the purpose of life, is to live life.
00:34:02
Speaker
We've put so how much like, what what's our purpose? What should we do? what' it I'm like, our purpose actually I think is pretty simple. like We're meant to experience and live life, but with joy, with presence, with this magical part of us, our power and being connected to this. and so My message to everybody is like you know find that joy again because it does make the day-to-day step Easier, feels lighter. That's that like that inner child coming out to be playful too. To be playful, have fun. and It's healing really to be in your inner child. When you're in your inner child and you're healing yourself and others around you. And last but not least, one question is, what is spiritual fitness to you?

Reflecting on Spiritual Fitness Journey

00:34:48
Speaker
How can we find a podcast, your podcast? And what is one message you would say to your younger self looking back about now?
00:34:59
Speaker
Oh man, these are all good questions. Spiritual fitness, I totally get what you mean by that. I used to call everything I did spiritual wellness. Oh, really? Yes. Because I was like, I don't know what to like say, but I was so into like the physical and the eating and the nutrition and then the spirit, like commingling all of those together. And so spiritual fitness to me is just truly what we were talking about, like that fullness piece of who we really are taking care of all aspects of us.
00:35:28
Speaker
mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. What would I tell my younger style? I would tell her, like there's nothing wrong with you because I think I'm so hard on myself. and I always thought, man, if I was tougher, I didn't care about this, or I didn't care about this person, or I didn't have that inner knowing, life would be easier. I always thought like there was something wrong with me because I was so sensitive.
00:35:54
Speaker
and You know, I realize that's my superpower. Yeah, that's the superpower. Yeah, we need sort of things to kind of feel through things that others can't really care about other humans and just people and children and life. Yeah, that was great. And can we get the podcast? You can find me on any platform that you listen to podcasts.
