But I think when we spoke on on Friday or Thursday night after that game, we were We were saying it was bad, but we were still kind of um fooled by the victory, I suppose. But we it was really, really bad. And today was just as bad. It wasn't even a shock to see them play as poor as they were today. um And Brighton fully deserved it and just looked the far better team, which they are. But I think I'd be inclined just to keep him, because I don't really know who else is out there to get. um But ah ah it's it's a borderline keep.

Yeah, absolutely. I agree with you. I keep, um, and yeah, I know you make it grow a point. I mean, the right wing back road isn't really sued soon, but it isn't an absolutely amazing defender. Um, and yeah, I mean, hopefully he could flourish in that right center back spot. I mean, you know, with, I know Lissando Martinez has kind of struggled this year and that he always seems to be hammering kind of rotating and center backs there. So yeah, maybe might as well. He could find, you know, maybe a position like that to keep for himself, but yeah, no, it's been phenomenal. I mean, for like, what, 80 million, 20 million pounds we've all in these.

I think he's very rash, though, which concerns me at times, jumps in an awful lot. um And I'm um' not sure how good he is, really. ah I think it'll take us another year to understand where we stand with him. um I think his name, going back over the last few years, has kind of preceded him in a way where it's like, oh, Delect is a great young player, did really well at IACS, didn't really work out then at Juventus and Bayern. But I think for the moment and for the kind of position we're in at the moment with defenders, I'd have to say keep.

Um, only thing I think he has, he is rash, like you said, in his pace kind of lets him down a bit, but, um, Yeah, hopefully, given more time, he can really solidify himself as our number one center back. Yeah, definitely. And it's interesting to see where he will play across the back, you know because you'd think, OK, the size of him and maybe the lack of pace, you'd probably say in the middle. But then that kind of brings us on to the next defender, Harry Maguire.

Yeah, I mean, Maguire maguy' is a tough one. you know It has been very roller coaster. Fans seem to be out of one minute. And then you know he's playing decent again the next. I will say about Maguire, big respect to him the way he handled everything. He was kind of shown for a while. And he was getting a lot of hate. And he came back and was putting in great performances. And personally, I don't mind too much. Personally, I think I'll have to say, Sal, just I'd like to see kind of a new change in the squad, new players. and and um Yeah, I feel like if we could get some money out and maybe bring in another centre back, but Maguire, he's put in a shift. He gets a lot of grief for the £80 million pounds and was kind of overpaid for him. But, um yeah, you know, i especially right now, I think he comes in and does a solid job, but I would like maybe to see a fresher kind of younger centre back, more pace coming.

I will say I felt, feel like he struggled a bit this season. um But, you know, that being said, I i have have to say keep, I mean, he he's been one of, I think, our better signings in the past years with how much trouble we've been getting into signing players. and But yeah, I do think he struggled a bit this season. and um But yeah, hopefully he can get back to his old farm. So I don't really know why we're not going to give him a run out. But um yeah, I would definitely keep.
