And today we're going to embark on a journey of meditation, connecting with the fluid and emotional element of water. So find a comfortable and quiet space where you won't be disturbed and either sitting or laying down Let's get comfy, warm and snug and begin.

Box Breathing for Relaxation

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Allowing your body to relax with every exhale. You can move and shift to get comfy at any point. This is your time to relax.

Bring your awareness to your breath in which we will begin with the technique of box breathing.

inhale deeply through your nose for four hold for four seconds one two three four. And then exhale slowly for four

as you breathe release your stress and tensions of the day and repeat

your lungs fill up with the oxygen as you breathe into your stomach and release Repeat this a few times until you feel your body and mind begin to let go. Let your thoughts pass through your mind as that is what our minds do. Acknowledge them and let them go as they have served their purpose.

Now bring your mind's eye to a vast endless beach, beautiful white sand and a calm sea. The sun above you is setting, in casting the sky in a tapestry of oranges and purples and soft blues.

The air is warm carrying the salty scent of the ocean and a gentle murmur of waves greets your ears like a soothing song.

As you step onto the soft white sand, feel its texture beneath your feet, warm, grainy and grounding.

Let your gaze drift to the waterline where the waves kiss the shore in a rhythmic dance. The ocean glimmers like a liquid sapphire. It beckons you to go closer towards it.

With every step you feel lighter as though the worries of life are being pulled from you and carried away by the gentle breeze.

Feeling the Water's Embrace

You reach the water's edge and the cool waves lap at your toes. The sensation is refreshing.

like a whisper from nature welcoming you home. You take a step forward and feel the water raised your ankles.

You walk forward still and your knees are in the water. Soon it's your waste, and the ocean is neither cold nor warm. It's perfect. It's soothing, like an embrace that feels that it was made just for you. When you're ready, you let yourself sink beneath the surface.

The water is crystal clear, shimmering with sunlight that dances like golden threads weaving through the blue.

Exploring Underwater Beauty

Schools of silver fish that playfully passed their scales flashing like mirrors.

A gentle sea turtle glides by, ancient and wise, moving with effortless grace that fills you with awe. You are light. You are floating.

In the distance, the coral reefs bloom like underwater gardens, vivid with hues of pink and purple and orange. Tiny clownfish peek out from their homes, and the starfish cling lazily to the rocks.

You watch as a mantra way sweeps through the water. Its broad wings collide effortlessly through the water as though it's flying in slow motion.

There is no sound, only a relaxing, deep hum within your ears, so relaxing. You feel weightless, as though the ocean itself is cradling you.

And although the water knows your rhythm and flows with you, a deep sense of peace washes over you

a connection to something vast, timeless and nurturing. Above you, the surface shimmers with setting sunlight.

Returning to Shore

You stay here for a while simply being, breathing freely, feeling at one with the ocean that holds you cleansing your spirit and soul with its infinite flow.

When you are ready, gently rise back to the surface, feeling the water cascade off your body as you emerge.

You see the sun has almost set and there are people waiting for you on the shoreline, patiently.

When your feet touch the seabed below you, soft and grounding, you slowly wade back to the shore

the soft waves lapping against your legs, guiding you back to the shores. And as you step back onto the sand and the sun sets behind you, you still feel the ocean around you. I know that you will always carry The essence of the seas within you. Its peace and its power and its boundless beauty. Its clarity, its energy, its balance and its movement.

Concluding with Serenity
