Introduction to the Podcast and Characters

00:00:33
Speaker
Hello and welcome to this week's episode of The Fellowship of the Tabletop. We are alive, play 5E D&D podcast set in the world of Aerith. My name is Mark and I am the Dungeon Master and also with us for today's episode we have... Ian who plays the Dragonborn Barbarian Drago. What up? We've got Callum who plays the gnome sorcerer Folly Fizzlebank the Ninth. Hello. Will who plays the human bard Carstan. Meh.
00:00:56
Speaker
Your audio cut out there. Yeah, you sounded like a South Park character. That's about it, it's an improvement. We've got Casey who plays the human champion, Helen, a sleep guard. We've got Danny who plays the human cleric, Claude. Good and Turg, good and Morgan, good and Abend. Oh wow, we've got Darren who plays the human fighter, Rogue Robin.

Dramatic Rescue of Tylee

00:01:23
Speaker
Last week's episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop, if you remember correctly from last week, we managed to grab the falling Tylee. Lots of things seemed to happen at once and all seemed to circulate around this one element. Tylee jumped the cliff. Hold up, hold up, hold up. Into Callum. What? I don't think you introduced Callum. I was introduced second. Yeah, you were. Way to fuck up that.
00:01:53
Speaker
We both thought the same thing. I'm so sorry. I think you should make them both do the recap. No, no. This is fine. Insert the gif here of the fire and the dog. This is fine.
00:02:07
Speaker
Because sometimes Callum was last on it, he normally finished it off, and Callum plays a name for source or polyphism on the ninth. But I've changed it, I put Darren last for that one. I'll change it next week. But thanks for keeping me on my toes, and I know it's fine.
00:02:22
Speaker
So what happened last week? Oh, thanks for asking Ian. In last week's episode of The Fellowship at the Tabletop, Tali jumped up a cliff. Folly jumped off after her. Claude prayed to Akiva and managed to cast the spell Divine Intervention for the first time ever. And he called for Folly and Tali to be safely placed back on the side of the cliff and not off the cliff.
00:02:46
Speaker
Folly managed to grab ahold of Tali on the way down, cast Fly, flew up, dropped her because she's quite a bit heavier than Folly. But in the meantime, Karstan had turned into a large owl and had grabbed her and lowered her to the floor. Upon doing that, the rest of the group kind of sprinted over to her. Karstan then entered into Tali's thoughts because she was kind of convulsing and frothing at the mouth. Karstan was then privy to a vision in Tali's past.
00:03:12
Speaker
When he came to, she came to, Tally left and went into this tiny hut and cast Modify, a form of Modify memory upon herself with Helena's help, even though Helena didn't really know what was happening, and seems to have forgotten what has happened and has kind of fallen into a catatonic sleep.

Karstan's Vision and Backstory Revelations

00:03:29
Speaker
In the meantime, Drago and Robin had gone out for a walk to kind of discuss the matters at hand and what seems to be happening with the group. The others had tried to decide on what to do with Tylee's book, this book of the spells of her father, which she holds very, very close to her chest and close to her, indeed. We end the episode with Castan and Drago outside the tiny hut.
00:03:49
Speaker
having a discussion in Kastan mentioned to Drago that he knew something about Drago's past and about Tali's past, which somehow intertwines them both. So we're going to start off joining them straight off the bat. Kastan, you just said, what was it you just said to Drago? I said something like, I saw Tali, I saw you and you were surrounded by bodies.
00:04:16
Speaker
And as the silence of the mountains, the sun slowly beginning to rise starts to kind of fill the area with a calmness and the snow continues to fall lightly across the entire area. This almost mini plateau you find yourselves on on the edge of this cliff. Kastan asks that question to Drago. Drago, do you have anything to say? What do you mean she saw me?
00:04:42
Speaker
in her thoughts, she was in her past, she was in her, what I assume was her home, a village, things were burning. A dream? I don't think it was a dream, I think it was. She said that it was her past and that this was both the beginning and the end and she stood in the hallway, she was there,

Processing Tylee's Trauma and Group Dynamics

00:05:12
Speaker
a little girl with a wooden sword in her hand and as I stood and looked beside her I looked into the great hall and there were bodies of men and women and there was you perhaps younger than you are now your sword your great sword in your hand blood dripping from its blade forming a pool at your feet
00:05:43
Speaker
And then behind you, there was this shadow. And then, and then I took Tali out of that and brought her back. Karsten. Yes? I don't really... I have...
00:06:13
Speaker
I don't really know what to say to all of this. I mean, she, it was really strange because she said it was the beginning and the end. It didn't, it certainly, the spell lets me know certain things and this was, this was not a creation in her mind. I don't know what happened. I don't know whether you knew
00:06:42
Speaker
I don't know, it's... Are you saying she was in the Great Hall at the time? She was a little girl, stood at the door. She saw what had happened and then she ran away and then I and she, Talia now was there as well and she took it back and froze it at that moment when she was standing looking in the hall.
00:07:12
Speaker
And then she what made her run and jump off a cliff. She said that the creature with it, the horns and the black eyes and the dark creature has revealed this memory to her. I think she'd forgotten this part of her life. And I think that she had blocked it out.
00:07:42
Speaker
I can't imagine something so terrible at such a young age. And I think this creature used it to manipulate her. And that's what drove her off the cliff. I don't know what else was going on in her mind. That was just what was in her mind when she was unconscious in your arms. I don't know what else was going on before that.
00:08:12
Speaker
OK. But she's forgotten again, I think she's cast a spell on herself to make her forget.

Planning the Next Move

00:08:21
Speaker
So maybe she won't know if she's forgotten. There's spells that can do that. There are. There are spells that can make you forget things that have happened in the past few hours or the past day. If she's casted on herself and that's what it looked like from the book, she might not remember remembering, if you know what I mean.
00:08:43
Speaker
Maybe we should go and check on her. Yes, okay, let's go inside. Carsten. Yes. I'm not trying to keep anything from anyone, but until we get off this mountain, can you not talk about this? Okay, I only mentioned it to you because
00:09:05
Speaker
It's your something to do with you as well. Well, I'm glad you told me. I'm trying to settle what might be the voice of a mountain and what might be fact. Of course. I don't want anything to come between our job. No, we have we have something to do here. OK. I appreciate that.
00:09:33
Speaker
As you both walk towards Castan and Drago, walk towards the tiny hut and make your way inside. Helena, are you already in there with Tali? Is that correct?
00:09:43
Speaker
Yes, but I was going to peep my head out. I don't know whether to do that as they're walking, you know, would I do that as they're walking towards me? Probably, yes. So let's run that now. So as they approach, you can see them kind of coming towards you. You can see us. We can't see her. Exactly. It probably just looks like a very large boulder from the outside. From the inside, obviously, you can see out of the tiny hut. So you can see them both approaching. Yeah. So I'll peek my way out of the hut. Gentlemen, or
00:10:13
Speaker
Drago. Great. I just wanted to let you know that this book, wherever it's gone, I don't know who's got hold of it now, but there was a note that Tali put in there. I just wanted to let you know, I didn't say anything before. It totally blew over my head. I was in such a shock to what happened. I don't know what she wrote on this note, but you might find it. Where is it? It's in the book. She stuffed it in the book. I'm not sure.
00:10:41
Speaker
Whereabouts it is. If anybody's found it. I think Robin's on his way to get the book. I wouldn't worry too much. He won't let anything happen to it. I just wanted to let you know there was a spare leaf of paper in there. She might have written a reminder or something. I don't know. OK, thank you. OK. She's in here. If you'd like to come in. Yeah, I'll come and check on her. I'm going to wait outside.
00:11:13
Speaker
Okay, and it's drug are you hanging back outside cast and you enter in with Helena into the now warm huts on the inside the fire burning in the center of the light hum in the air. As you see Tali slumped back, I think Helen, he probably would have moved her into a more comfortable position from just falling straight back into a position on her nap sack it on her on her kind of bed rest, lying there looking relatively peaceful and snoring, as is her want
00:11:44
Speaker
Karsten goes over and I'm going to hold my hand over her forehead, not touch her. And I'm going to do detect thoughts again, but I'm not going to go into a point where she knows I'm in there. I'm literally scanning the

Tylee's Valuable Book and Protection Spells

00:11:58
Speaker
surface thoughts. That's what's on her, what's what is most on its mind at that moment.
00:12:05
Speaker
And does she have a wisdom saving throw? No, no, no. So this is the basic spell is I get the surface thoughts of the creature, what's on its mind at that moment. As an action, I can go deeper, but that's when the wisdom saving throw and she knows I'm there comes in. But at this stage, it's just the surface thoughts. So if I was asking someone questions, I could then manipulate their surface thoughts and it's good for interrogation, but I'm just doing it right now while she's unconscious. Gotcha.
00:12:31
Speaker
As you hover your hand over her forehead, you get the distinct feeling of hunger, achy legs, and a yearning for home. Okay, cool. Thank you. Well, he'll then take his hand away and open his eyes and look over to Helena. Well, she seems to have forgotten. Or at least...
00:12:59
Speaker
not be concerned about that. I was afraid that that's exactly what's happened. She questioned what's the plan. I mean, then she went straight to sleep. I don't really know when she's going to wake up. She'll wake up sooner. It could be that the casting of the spell is as exhaustive as what sometimes happens. You're not meant to be able to cast it on yourself.
00:13:30
Speaker
No, I wish I'd have known that was the spell that she was doing to herself. I would have tried to prevent it, but I thought maybe it was something that she was, she needed my help for. And I thought that it would, I thought it was going to help the situation. I didn't think it was going to modify her memory. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everybody else. You don't need to be sorry. There's nothing, you're not to blame, Helena. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just what, it's just what happens. Um,
00:13:58
Speaker
There's a lot of complicated things that we have to deal with. And I think we just need to focus on getting the Onyx Reaver, finding that plant for your mother and just getting off this mountain and taking the time to regroup. We've been doing so much over such a short time. We don't know whether we're coming or going. Maybe we can sort it out after everything up here has been solved.
00:14:28
Speaker
Yeah, because then we have to decide where to go next. And Drago and Robin and Folly, they seem to know the grand plan in all of this. Onyx Reaver and then, I don't know, they're the ones that want to come and find it. So they seem to have a plan.
00:14:45
Speaker
Well, until Tali wakes up, maybe one of us should always keep a watch on her just in case anything happens. I was just so terrified for her, Kastan. She was in a state that I'd never seen anybody like that before. I didn't know how to help her. No, I don't think any of us could have
00:15:08
Speaker
helped her really, other than me going in her mind, but that would just mean I know, I just, yeah. It's fine, it's something now. Let's just see what the rest of the day brings. Yes, maybe they've found something in that book.
00:15:24
Speaker
And on that, we'll just quickly bring us outside towards where Folly and Claude currently are. Draghi, you can already see them in quite some way off in the distance, probably about 100, 150 feet away from you, nearer to the cliff edge, but still far away from the cliff edge. Draghi's just stood there at the moment, kind of like in a silence vigil, not really paying attention to the surroundings other than just kind of deep in thought, head down, eyes open, as if he's trying to
00:15:53
Speaker
distract himself but he's deep in thought. Okay brilliant and we swing over to Claude and Folly with Robin approaching now as you've been casting a number of spells and detections upon this book to try and understand better its properties and I think we finished with Claude you were describing how to behead things or something
00:16:18
Speaker
something like that or how you how to make the undead not breathe or something like that I think I thought this was about throwing the book overboard yeah that's what it was oh I think I've just got confused with the one yeah that was a very serious like we're gonna get rid of this so folly was casting things to detect magic on it and yeah I've done I've spent dispelled with an evil protection from good and evil on the book that's right yeah yeah
00:16:47
Speaker
yeah and just after you've cast those as i imagine they uh i know don't identify takes a while and i can follow you you've cast that as well robin you'll probably be approaching them at this point uh before robin gets close i'm gonna say folly this is our last chance if we want to throw it off the cliff i could just blame on wind damn i know you want to claud but
00:17:10
Speaker
This book belongs to somebody and it's very, very important to them. I don't feel I have a right to just, well, throw it off the cliff. But, but it's doing her more harm than good most of the time. Yes, but it's still doing her some good, but it's her memento. How would you feel if I threw your axe off the cliff? I could just get it back. And what if you couldn't get it back and I threw it off the cliff? I'll give it a go, we'll find out.
00:17:39
Speaker
We might not know because it could chop someone in half down the bottom without picking snowberries. A nasty way to go. You're a very difficult man to talk to sometimes, Claude, aren't you? I just don't believe that it's right. I believe this property still belongs entirely and I believe it would be in the company's best interests to return the book to her but just keep a very, very close eye on her.
00:18:08
Speaker
And on that, Robin, you'd just be kind of approaching into going to be a short range. I think that I have used all the energy that the Master has given me. There's nothing else I know or anything I can do to the book to make it any safer. What about you, Folly? You've got some smart skills? Yes, I do.
00:18:35
Speaker
Hi Robin, Paul is just telling me about how smart he is at magic. The smart may be, but protection enchantments on a book is not exactly my forte. It could be worth potentially attempting to visit somebody else at the nearest town the next time we get there to see if there's any advice or help they can possibly offer. As you can see, I'm magically more offensive than
00:19:02
Speaker
Yeah, you're probably right. I mean, if anything does possess her again through this book, then...

Reassurance and Journey Preparation

00:19:11
Speaker
Gentlemen, I hate to interrupt. Hello. Hello. We have tarried here long enough and we must be moving. I will take that book if you don't mind. Yeah, it's got lots of nice new protections on it, so just don't drop it off a cliff or anything, because we worked really hard to make sure it was protected.
00:19:30
Speaker
Folly is going to turn round and obviously offer the book up to Robin and as he does he's just going to not try to be quiet about it but just this meant directly for Robin and just I would really keep an eye on her more so than normal I will that book means everything to her and she will be most upset if she finds out that we've been doing things to it I suggest I take that off you now
00:20:01
Speaker
It's absolutely fine. There's no way that it's her puny magic could find what we've done to it. Do not underestimate her, Claude. I've told you that before. Yeah, you're right. Then Robin will send out the mage hand just to grab the book and as it's brought back to it... It is a greeting of mage hands.
00:20:20
Speaker
Well, Robin's invisible, but you won't be able to see Robin's mage hand. No, that makes yours look cool. Yeah, sorry. This is a bit gross. You can just use your normal hands. And Robin has started to make his way back towards the tent and he'll say every shoulder as he's going, get ready to leave. We leave presently.
00:20:40
Speaker
And on that, we just quickly return back to the hut and Helena and Carson as you're quietly sat in there. Talia does start to stir and eventually her eyes do kind of open and she kind of moves her tongue around in her mouth and then finally kind of sits up, rubs her eyes. Did I sleep in again?
00:21:05
Speaker
Yes, something like that Tali. But do you feel rested at least? I feel great. I feel like I've slept really well. Can I just ask you, what's the last thing that you remember of today? Oh, good morning to you too. What did I remember? Oh, didn't Karstan sing us a song or something or bagpipes? That sounds like Karstan.
00:21:34
Speaker
And then I think we were walking a lot in the snow and then the dark and it was uncomfortable and my feet ache. Yeah, that's about it. Yeah, yes, these beds aren't too comfortable. I would... No. Why did something happen in the night or the day or whatever? We all just had a bad night's sleep, I think. Oh, OK. And you'll start kind of gathering of things. Are we making a move then? Are we going?
00:22:04
Speaker
I think that's the plan. Can I roll? What are you doing in here? You just appeared out of nowhere and a cat kind of meows her way into the space. Oh, here is back of the eagle. Oh bugger. That almost worked so well. I was just going to ask, can the Helena rolling inside trip? Yeah, what are you inside and what are you looking on?
00:22:33
Speaker
to see whether or not she does. I mean, I think I believe her, but I just want to see if she's telling the truth. If there's anything else under there that she can remember that she just doesn't want her. No problem, go for it. Fourteen. Yeah, you think she's telling the truth. As far as you're aware, it seems like an honest answer to your question. Do I know that? Just going off my passive. Yeah, you get the sense that it's an honest answer. Cool. Thanks.
00:23:04
Speaker
Yes, I think we'll be making tracks, Charlie. So if you want to get your things together.
00:23:08
Speaker
She starts looking around and grabbing her bits and stretching and yawning another time, picking up her satchel and then starts to look around and look a little more than start to move a bit quicker and start to look around things, start lifting things up and moving things around her head. Have you seen my book anywhere? It's not here. I don't know. I'm pretty sure it wasn't here last night. Folly was doing some experiments and I think a wave of force pushed it outside. I think Robin's gone and got it for you.
00:23:38
Speaker
Can you roll the session? Yeah, I can. 25? She got a 14. Oh, right. I do sound like something Folly would do. Yeah, you know what he's like. You slept through it, though. In fact, shall I go and check? I'll go and check. So Helena walks out quite quickly to check where Robin is. Is everything OK?
00:24:00
Speaker
Oh Drago, Tarly's woken up and she's looking around for her book so I just wanted to come out here and make sure that it's in safe hands. I'm sure Robin has retrieved it. Is she in power? She doesn't remember a thing. She just remembers walking a lot.
00:24:18
Speaker
She seems quite rested. She's been sleeping for the time being, so. We've got nothing to worry about in terms of her memory. It's just whether or not it'll come back or what this force was that made her feel so terrified. She doesn't remember anything. She doesn't remember anything. Right. Where's that book? Robin. I'll go and find him. Thanks, Drago. And Helen, I'll walk off.
00:24:43
Speaker
Literally, as you turn to walk away, Robin is kind of right there in front of you. He's managed to walk over in that time. Oh, shit. Robin, Robin, that book, Tali needs the book. Are we giving it back to her? Yes. Yes, it's her most prized possession, I think. Keeping it from her is only going to cause suspicion and discomfort. Brilliant. Well, Carstan said that we tried to cover the tracks and said that
00:25:12
Speaker
Folly had been doing some experiments, pushed the book by force outside the hut, so you'd gone to retrieve it. That's the cover story that we've gone with. It was rather impromptu, but we had nothing else. Did she buy it? Yes, I think so. Fair enough. And I'll just offer the book to Helena.

Character Backgrounds and Relationship Building

00:25:31
Speaker
And I will say to her, take this to her, make sure the others are getting ready as soon as Canard returns from foraging. We need to move. Great. Did you find a note?
00:25:44
Speaker
This, whatever this is, is something for Tali and perhaps Karstan to resolve. It's not for me to go in her book for her. This is for her. And I just offer the book over. Thank you. How far away am I from the hut? About 10 feet. It's not enough time, is it? No.
00:26:09
Speaker
No, I'm just gonna go. I'm just gonna go. Damn it! I'm just gonna go in and hand Tally the book. Tally, your book's here. I have it. Oh, thank you. Crazy what Folly can do sometimes. Pushing just my book out and nothing else. That seems a bit weird. I know. He doesn't even know his own strengths sometimes, does he?
00:26:28
Speaker
It doesn't, it doesn't. Oh, that was a good case. I was trying to make you lie so I could do a deception check against you, but you didn't. Very well done. A politician's answer, well done. So, Tally, quickly, pocket to the book, puts it into a satchel. I think I've got everything. We're going to go? I'm in the mood for walking. Yes, me too. Kazdan? Yeah, I'm already there.
00:26:53
Speaker
The huddle disappear once the spell ends. So if once we, once everyone comes back and gets the rest of their, their bedrolls and that kind of stuff, we can go. Okay. Robin. All right, Robin, we'll just in the silence, turn to Drago and go. Are you good? Yeah, fine. I'm good. Honestly, I'm fine. Onyx Reaver. Let's go. As soon as Kanard's back anyway, where is he?
00:27:24
Speaker
I'm right behind you. I've been here the whole time. No, yeah, I haven't really. That's a lie. I've just come back. I had a problem with my brother, you see. No, that's another Oasis joke. Sorry. There's nothing I could find. No food. We might as well just get going.
00:27:47
Speaker
It's not far now. Another day's walk probably and we're getting close. Okay. Um, we're just getting ready to leave. Is there anything you need? No, I'm good. I'll stand by the road. I'll stand by the path waiting for you. Can I, can I ask you something just before you go? Of course. You, um, have you had any reason to believe that there's only one on our tail? Yes.
00:28:16
Speaker
There always isn't these mountains. The difference between what's real and what isn't, that's the line of distinction you need to figure out. I just assume someone's always following me, especially on the Scale Road Mountains. And I'd go for double since you had that attack against you and Folly, Robin. I'd say, assume that someone's always following us now. I feared as much, and Robin will snap his fingers and Nura will appear, and he will just whisper to her and Elvin,
00:28:46
Speaker
watch our back return to me if there's trouble and he'll just send her into the sky to stay behind us. So for expediency should we say that everything kind of gets packed up and we start heading out on the road unless there's anything I mean conversations can have on the road and Ken I would probably grab you all just before you head off. I would like to just as Karsten steps out how are Karsten, Helena and Tylee coming out of that tent
00:29:16
Speaker
More than likely, Karsten will end the spell. And so the entire shape, the entire Hennessfield just kind of disappear out of existence, leaving just a gap where the snow was on the ground. I don't need to end it. It literally, at some point, after eight hours, it will just disappear. It does it on its own. I try and beckon Karsten over, just away. Similar to where me, Robin, and Kannada currently stood, as soon as I see Karsten or Helena
00:29:46
Speaker
Either one of them first, I try and beckon them over. Okay, so Karsten, he probably easily catches eye with your high perception of Drago being very unsubtle and kind of clawing you over towards him. Could Drago give me his come hither eyes? Exactly. His snout is flaring. So Karsten will sort of saunter along? Yes, Drago. Karsten.
00:30:17
Speaker
I only caught snippets of what you and Helena did while you were in the tent when you were telling Talia about her book. The only people that don't know are Claude and Folly, so it might be best to fill them in with what happened. I'll go tell them. Okay, good idea.
00:30:39
Speaker
That's it. I was like, Claude and Folly don't know shit. And Claude's not the subtlest. He would not get the idea of deception. And I will go over to them both. As you're right, I'll be... Sorry, shall we say it takes place on the road? Or are we doing this just before we settle? As long as Tali isn't left alone with Claude and Folly at any time from between then, that was all I was trying to indicate. Or hear me tell the lie.
00:31:09
Speaker
Okay. So yeah, just to clarify, Karthon, you're telling them. So I'm telling Claude and Folly that if anyone asks, not that Claude needs to ever bring it up, that the reason her book was outside of the tent was because Folly was doing his weird experiments and it was pushed out by a force of magic. Okay. Um, well, isn't that exactly how things went?
00:31:39
Speaker
Yes, that's exactly how it went, Claude. Yes, even look at your face, Claude. You've still got a little bit of, like, smoke on there from my potions. I do apologize. I was going to cast Prestidigitation on it and just make Claude's face look a little bit smoky. Can you roll it? I know what you're doing. This is gross. My beard's already got enough on it.
00:32:08
Speaker
It has, you've got quite a few things in your beard, haven't you? How would you like it if I just took your hat off? You know? Do you feel like it was snow and put it back on your head? It's not really there, Claude. I can see it! Oh, never mind.
00:32:31
Speaker
I have a question, though. I have a question, Mr. Folly. Have you always had wings, or is that a feature since we arrived on the mountain? If I have, then I didn't know about it. Yeah, I only ask because, like, you know, gods have wings and stuff, and I think that maybe the travellers from Eryth here might have blessed you. Perhaps it was Tiriani herself, or maybe even one of the other ones.
00:33:02
Speaker
Well, flies have wings as well there, Claude. Not just gods and angels, so... Birds have wings as well. Flies can't take their wings off their carapace and insert it in another person. That you know of. Can they do that in the San Greenland? I don't know, maybe far to the east they can. There's many mystical and magical things in the San Greenland, Claude.
00:33:27
Speaker
You never know what you might find. I don't want to go. OK, are we all done here? Everyone understand what's happening? Yeah, we're lying about the book. No, no. We're going to get the Onyx Reaver. That's the most important thing, isn't it, Lord? Yeah. Yeah. And yeah. And making sure we can save Elphir if we can. And saving Elphir if we can.
00:33:56
Speaker
And then there's another thing about a flower. Getting Helena's flower to cure the queen. Yeah. Which we will circle back to, Helena. But there is a jungle in the middle of a mountain range as well. Canard, do you want to lead the way?
00:34:13
Speaker
and you look around and Canard has been stood leaning on his bow now for quite some time, waiting patiently. Flag finally, if we're all ready, and he slips the bow onto his back and starts walking left up the road on the pathway, leaning forward. And just roughly, just in order that you're going to be going in. I'd like to be near the front, if possible. Okay, can I try to go Robin? Clankety-clank noise box over here. We'll probably have to go near the front as well.
00:34:41
Speaker
I will take out my pan flutes in the middle and I will continue to be playing them and in doing so making sure that
00:34:54
Speaker
Um, anyone have, we have advantage against being frightened or charmed, you know, excellent. Brilliant. Um, I'll be, I'll be somewhere where Tali and Karsten are. Yeah. Tali's probably going to stand next to you, Helena as well and follow along with you, uh, in that kind of order. Cool. So we continue to make our way up the mountain.
00:35:14
Speaker
the air on the way starts to get thinner you realize that you're going more and more uphill as these winding paths slowly start to drift away and you see now off lower down the mountain when you when you there's a break in these uh now jagged peaks that you can see fog encapsulates you below so you cannot actually see now how high up you are there's a slight breeze in the air and the snow has stopped falling though the air has become bitingly cold the
00:35:42
Speaker
There are some noises on the mountain now as well. These are just the noises of slight falling rocks. Only small tinkles of rocks that fall may be pushed by the breeze, maybe more nefarious means. But these seem to happen consistently throughout the mountains. So you feel this might be a feature of the mountain rather than just a one-off event of someone sneaking up on you, for example.
00:36:03
Speaker
The majority of this day passes without any action. Nothing really happens. You continue to walk, and everything seems to go smoothly. Canard stops once or twice to describe the options that you have available, and sorry, not the options available, the area around you and what's kind of approaching you as you get closer and closer. But aside from that, not much else really happens. So there is some time for conversation. We had a bit of a conversation beforehand, but if there's anything that wants to be done,
00:36:32
Speaker
before nightfall i'm happy for that to happen now or it can happen overnight also the cameras first he's gonna pan uh to the kind of middle area of the group as they're walking to claud where he's currently standing castan are you having any more of them strange strange sounds no no i i everything seems to be seems to be fine you're welcome and he keeps playing his pan flutes what can i say
00:37:03
Speaker
Yeah, well, clearly, whatever you've done has helped us all. That was a short song. Isn't that from Battlestar Galactica? I was going for the tubular bells. I thought it sounded like...
00:37:34
Speaker
That's all I wanted to ask was to yeah just check if the cast ends not becoming like a possessed hippie. No problem. And along the walk Helena with Talia next to you she continues to chat and ask little inane small happy questions that she normally would about where you're from, what you've been doing, your training, you know think probing your past which is quite normal for her as the other kind of female in the group she kind of looks up to in that respect.
00:37:58
Speaker
So again, from your perspective, Helena, you don't really notice any change either. She seems to be back to her kind of usual self, so to speak. Yeah, and I'll happily answer questions and engage in chat with her to make her feel a bit normal. Oh, will you? Okay, cool. So when was the last time you went home, Helena? Well, it was probably a few months before I met you guys, actually. I was with my
00:38:25
Speaker
My friend fell strop. We were on our way somewhere and we came across Carstan and then the rest is history. But before that, that was probably when I was home. You say you'd fought with an army at some point. What was that like? Did you enjoy that? Well, that's what I've always felt that I was born to do. I was born to fight.
00:38:50
Speaker
I've been fighting for most of my adult life now and it seems normal to me.

Setting Up Camp and Night Watch

00:38:57
Speaker
I enjoy doing it because I believe in fighting for what you believe in. Do you ever get tired of it all? I mean physically you get exhausted but not tired of fighting, not tired of giving something you're all and
00:39:15
Speaker
and having people around you, rallying around you, you're all in it together. It's a team effort and I think I'll always live for that. Right. Do you get tired of adventuring with us or with your group? No, I get tired of some people sometimes. They get on my nerves a bit, but I think that's normal with any group of people. Who do you get tired of most? You know, uh,
00:39:42
Speaker
I don't know. Everyone equally, really. Just at different points. But... No, everyone equally, I think. Claude a little bit, actually. And Karsten, when he plays his music, when we don't want it. But it's nice to hear it now because it's actually, you know, it's nice to hear something that's not just the mountains. So, yeah. But no, nothing too bad. Nothing, you know. What were your friends like at home?
00:40:10
Speaker
my friends. Well, I didn't really have many friends when I was growing up, just me. And I met people on the way that I spoke to and stuff, but until I met
00:40:25
Speaker
You know, Robin and Drago, Shader and Nelthir. I didn't really have many friends at all. Not since I can remember anyway. That's quite sad to hear actually. Oh no, I... Do you have family? Sisters, brothers? Not only, only child and then mumma and dad, they...
00:40:45
Speaker
My dad was quite famous, actually. It was quite a big deal. He was a magic user. And he actually wrote this book that I've got now that he gave to me. So yeah, he started to lose his sight a little bit when he got old and before he died. And that's why she gets out the book and scores to the very back of it. The handwriting gets really bad and I can't read any of it, but it's basically a list.
00:41:12
Speaker
That's all I can really establish. There's a list of how to cast everything, every spell that's ever existed on the Sword Coast. I can read. So if you want a hand with trying to understand what's legible, maybe we could sit down together and have a little look. She slams the book shut. Yeah, maybe.
00:41:35
Speaker
Maybe at some point, maybe. We'll see, maybe. Anyway, thanks for opening up though. It's nice to talk to someone that isn't just, you know, talking about boy stuff. Yes, I agree. There's not a lot of female empowerment in this group. There was a lot of dick swinging going on. Oh, is that what you call it? Hi.
00:42:03
Speaker
It's what a lot of what Shader used to do as well. He used to be in a group and him and Drago used to do a lot of deck swinging. They don't actually do that though, do they? Well, I hope not because I never saw it, but I often fell asleep a bit earlier than everyone else. Anyway, let's not get into that because Drago, I don't want to think about that. Let's just move on. And we don't want any fan pictures out there of this.
00:42:28
Speaker
No. And we continue to walk, make a good time, and the day passes, like I said, without much incident, and the panpipes continue, and you're all surprised with the number of different tunes that Kastan can make from this single panpipe. It's quite impressive, the number of different songs before he has to repeat them. The song starts to step, and the shadows become longer, and the air becomes thinner, so you continue to work your way up and up the mountains.
00:42:57
Speaker
You trawl around the edges of large chasms. You trawl around open spaces as you continue to climb up these mountains, getting lost almost in the pathways that seem to swerve in and out and around these jagged peaks that top the Sko Road Mountains. The sun starts to set, and we find a relatively open space. Again, a mini plateau dug out of the side of one of these pathways. Canard looks at the group and says,
00:43:27
Speaker
I think it's about time we set up a camp. Actually, one second. And he sprints ahead of the group slightly around the corner. And then a few seconds later, his footprints left in the snow, about an inch of snow. His footprints come back round. Actually, there's a much better space around here. Come and have a look. And as you approach around the corner,
00:43:47
Speaker
is a this you come around the corner and one of the mountains seem to have been cracked into a v and at the bottom of this v is where you sit this ravine that kind of opens out it's a flat piece of land with two very very steep sides almost like this this part of the mountain is just kind of split in two and then it's flattened out in the middle like a like a v with the bottom filled in but we're talking hue so it's probably
00:44:11
Speaker
250, 300 feet wide and it's basically a pathway and he looks and he goes at the far end there, right to the back there, off to the right there's a larger area where you can stay and actually this can take us straight through, straight through here, gets us onto the other side, then it's up round two more corners give or take and we're at the verdant, so it's close. How close, how many days? Be there by tomorrow. We rest tonight, three hour, four hour walk and we're there, so we'll be there by midday tomorrow.
00:44:40
Speaker
This sounds like a good idea. Everyone happy to rest up camp here.
00:44:46
Speaker
Yes, I think this is the most promising place. Yep, I think I'm getting a touch of the gangrene. I'll get myself ready, and Karsten cracks his knuckles, ready to cast his spell. And before you do that, he kind of points at the corner. So it's probably back there, and there's a slightly, an area that's kind of enclosed slightly on the roof area, slightly, so there's a bit less snow in there. It isn't a cave cave. It's similar to the others. It's just an alcove. And he kind of references that as probably, that's probably a good area to put it. It's a bit more safer there just in case anything
00:45:15
Speaker
anything's around you know okay talia do you want to handle the fire again oh uh yeah i'd love to but you you pick the place and i'll uh i'll lick the fire okay about here so everyone stand close come on come on come on okay and then what are they does anyway does everyone come within the 10 feet i need to know if anyone does anyone choose not to stand within the 10 feet no i'm coming in i will can i do it without cocoon mate
00:45:46
Speaker
Yeah, Robin, before this was happening, he would have just been the last one into the ravine and he's just scouting around as the sun sets looking for Nura, knowing that any immediate return would mean that danger is imminent. Darren, is Nura in the circle? No, but she's magically bound to me, so if I'm in the circle... No, no. She won't be able to get in. She won't be able to get in if she's not there. Just saying.
00:46:14
Speaker
Fair enough. All of the creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. She can peck on the outside. Fair enough. Yeah, spells and visual magical effects can't extend through it either. So while she'll be there, she won't be able to get in. I assume we'll still be keeping a watch this evening, is what Robin will say to the group. Probably. If Nira returns during any of the watches, wake us all immediately.
00:46:42
Speaker
OK, and he takes and takes out a small crystal in his hand and he mumbles a little bit. That starts to glow and the light extends out. And then suddenly you can look up and you can see the snow falling on this magical force that now encases the group. And it feels warmer. It feels warmer in here. I really like that spell, Karstan. It's really useful, isn't it? It's great for camping. It certainly is. I'm going to be outside again and Drago just exits.
00:47:11
Speaker
It sort of defeats the point of you putting on this magical spell for people just to step out again. I know, but I mean, it's great if you're only in a tricky situation or you don't have enough people to watch. Like you'd be camping on your own like I sometimes used to. It was really useful. Because you didn't have any friends. No, because I was traveling around, Claude. But thanks for saying that. Well, you have friends now. Thanks. That means a lot.
00:47:42
Speaker
Ah, that was beautiful. That was lovely. And Carstone will sit down, he'll reach into his pack, take out a pipe and start putting stuff in his pipe. Ooh, kinky. Shoes, bottle of milk. Coal. Medicinal stuff. Orange slices. Orange slices.
00:48:08
Speaker
Robin, while this is happening, will take out his pouch and he will take out some of the tea leaves that he still has in it. And he will make communal tea for everybody. We're seeking tea. So British. So Darrin. Doing that. It is very Darrin, actually. It is very Darrin. Folly is going to just casually wander back on the path that we have just come up.
00:48:34
Speaker
and just in as big how wide is the pathway would you say that we've just come up when you reach the v the ravine you're kind of in the bottom of it opens up to about 200 250 feet wide if you go right back to where you previously went which is a bit further along the path is probably only about 25 feet wide
00:48:58
Speaker
Okay, so with that narrowest point there, Follin's just going to set alarm, just so he's obviously going to make it that anybody on this party can come and go as he please, but if any other creature, tiny or bigger, goes through a 20 foot area at the closest point of that ravine, he's just going to set an alarm off him Follin's head.
00:49:23
Speaker
Yeah, cool, no problem. Okay, so what do you have to do to cast that? It's a ritual thing, it just takes me about 11 minutes to actually do. Yeah, but what would he do? He's basically kind of pointing at his quarterstaff at the ground and he's just kind of marking away, it's almost like a Tai Chi style kind of swirling that he's doing with his quarterstaff, just he's marking around this area. Are you like that guru sage from Kung Fu Panda? Yes, I am Shifu.
00:49:54
Speaker
Actually, yeah, I owe Shifu. Yeah, so he's doing... I'm so glad that you said kung fu. What? What? I thought you said kung fu, not kung fu. Oh, it sounded like kung fu. I was going to say what did I say wrong? Sorry, I said like... You might have said kung fu. Did anyone else think he was going to set the valley on fire? Was that the only one? The thought of wall of fire? Well, that is your domain. What? Setting things on fire? Setting things on fire, definitely. I didn't burn down the orphanage.
00:50:25
Speaker
Very good point. That was... I was forced into setting fire for that particular situation. To children! To children! To a particular area and the fire seemed to have just slightly gotten out of control. Folly will answer her sins, don't you? Folly has a lot of sins to answer for. I don't know about it. No, you weren't there. No.
00:50:51
Speaker
It's a good story, though. Maybe one day they'll tell you, bro. So episode 28. And you can listen to all our episodes on the Fellowship of the Tabletop at Simplecast. Or Spotify, Google Play, Google Podcast, plugging in our podcast in the middle of the podcast, guys. I know. You're not listening to the podcast.
00:51:12
Speaker
How's it going, Folly? Have you cast that thing yet? I finished casting it. There's basically a quick flash of light, very dim light, just as the casting actually finishes, but then everything around the ground settles. Folly, what did you just do? Just a little bit of safety precaution, Claude. That's all. So Claude, you would have had to have followed him probably about 250, 300 feet to watch him do that, around a corner.
00:51:41
Speaker
Oh, did you follow me? No, I'll be like just outside the hut. And then when he comes back, I'll be saying. What did you just do around the corner? I was just setting a bit of a safety precaution there, Claude. Nothing to concern about. OK. Not going to set us on fire in our sleep, are you? Not unless I decide to do some brewing. We'll see.
00:52:06
Speaker
Try not to brew in the tent. Yeah, keep brewing well, safe away. Nuted. We should get some rest. It's going to be another long day tomorrow. Yep. Yes, thank you for this tea, Robin. It's definitely warmed me up. My mother used to make good tea. She'd collect anything she could out in the gardens. Fennel was always my favourite. I can make a taste of Fennel if you want. I've never had Fennel before, tightly piped up.
00:52:38
Speaker
Oh, it's lovely. Aaron Masik. Cast and we used Presiditation. Still Folly's trick, and he's going to make Helena and Tali's tea flavoured. Oh, wonderful. That's lovely. Yes, you take a sip of that, Tali. It'll warm the cockles right up. Oh, I don't know what I thought it was. What does funnel taste like? I thought it was outside. Not milk. You won't be interested.
00:53:03
Speaker
As far as I'm right, just to map this out in our heads, you've got Robin, Helena, Tally, Castan inside, Folly, Joago, Claude, outside. You keep going everywhere, Claude. Ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping. He pings everywhere. I'm trying to get my head around that things happen simultaneously. I've got an idea of Claude. He just seems to wander around aimlessly and just casually eavesdrop into every conversation going off. He's always there.
00:53:32
Speaker
I feel that's quite accurate. He sort of just sidles into the group. He never quite knows where to be. I think he would have done that as well if it wasn't for the fact that this barrier is kind of sign proof as well. So you're on the right track, Claude, don't you worry. You do you, Danny, you do you. So drinking away on the tea. It's nice, actually. I don't know what it reminds me of, but it's tasty. Thank you, Robin and Karstam, for making tea. This is very civil, especially for us.
00:54:01
Speaker
Well, you know, so we have some fantastic, not only do we have coffee houses in the Sanguinlands, but there are some fantastic tea houses in the Sanguinlands as well. Ooh, maybe one day. It's like you've worked for them. No, I've not worked for those places, no? No, no, no. No, that's a little bit beneath my family, but, you know. Oh, well, it was quite good. You quite sold it well. Well, what can I say? I'm a bard. I worked on commissions.
00:54:29
Speaker
Yeah, Helena, you mentioned your mum. I know something's not right with her at the moment, but were you told? She's not well. Very close, yes. Me and my mother had a good relationship. We have a good relationship. And then Helena will get up and go to her little spot where she's going to stay to sleep.
00:54:53
Speaker
And you hear Tyler kind of matter to herself and kind of... Sorry. Under her breath and then turns to Karsten and continues to make small talk or just listen to Karsten talk, which is more likely going to be happening. Karsten will sat down, he'll have his pipe but he won't smoke it inside the hut because that'll be really antisocial.
00:55:12
Speaker
He doesn't smoke indoors, because Aerith has this policy of no smoking indoors. Magical or otherwise. Yeah. So Karsten will then take out his loot, and he'll perhaps just be plucking a couple of strings. And yeah. Absolutely brilliant. So as that's kind of happening, is there anything else that wants to take place before we start falling into watch order for the evening? Conversations, everyone happy?
00:55:37
Speaker
Lovely. So we've got alarms that Drago's outside. I assume the rest of you kind of make your way back in afterwards. So everyone's kind of in. Drago, are you staying out there or are you going to come in as well at some point? No, Drago's staying out there. He's in thought. He's quite alert though. So everything from the past day has just kind of not shook him, but has reminded him that
00:56:01
Speaker
threats are forever present and maybe he was getting a bit too comfortable relying on the group so he's just just a fraction of himself is is is cursing himself for being so trusting and perhaps maybe he needs to be more vigilant so he's not
00:56:19
Speaker
hunting around or anything like that he stood in one place but he's smelling the air every now and then he's opening up his ears so he can listen out for any sight any sounds and he's looking around while trying to calm his thoughts that keep threatening to overpower him he's just keeping it back and trying to do the job at hand okay brilliant lovely
00:56:43
Speaker
Thank you very much. I'm assuming then you're going to be on the first watch if you're already out there. Yeah, unless anyone's coming to, I'm out there until someone comes to believe me. Someone can join or can choose to join Dragor if you want, otherwise Dragor will take the first watch.
00:56:56
Speaker
Kastan will join Drago outside. Okay so before that happens we'll just run the order for the rest of it so we can assume Kastan you're in with everyone and you guys have discussed the running order of the watch. So who's going to take that second watch? It's probably Robin will always insist to take the deepest watch because he has his dark vision goggles. So you'd probably be the third watch then for Robin. So I can do the second, Helena can do the second one.
00:57:25
Speaker
Okay, Helena takes the second. With anybody maybe, but I don't mind doing it on my own. Okay, no takers on that power. Is that not Robin and Helena doing the second watch? No, Robin's doing the third one. All right, okay. Following that logic in all fairness, we'll probably do the watch with Robin, just because I've got darkvision as well. Okay, and then we've got a fourth watch.
00:57:55
Speaker
Okay, and Talia's going to jump on that. Oh, Kennard's going to jump on that with you, sorry. Kennard and... So you're going to leave the princess without Darkvision doing the watch on her own? Well, it's only second one, so it might still be a bit like... Assholes. Robin would have said to Folly, if you don't mind, maybe wake Talia and take her with you on the third watch and we'll split the Darkvision and I'll go with her.
00:58:23
Speaker
Oh, don't worry, I can take care of myself. I'm sure you can, Princess, but these mountains are dark and it's best to keep someone on watch who can perhaps peer into the darkness. Or you can power it in. It didn't need a good point.
00:58:39
Speaker
Well, I don't mind. What are these? Are they goggles? They're goggles, but I'll take the watch with you and Folly. And Tali, I'm afraid you're going to have to keep a watch tonight. You'll be taking the Folly. No, that's fine. I feel like I should start pulling my weight a bit, and that's fine. Okay, so drag on Carson. You're going to take the first watch before you have your conversation, because I imagine there might be something you want to talk about. Could I just have a
00:59:02
Speaker
Could you each roll perception, please? I'm not going to double it up because I assume because of the conversation is going to take place, you might not be paying 100% attention. So if I could get your separate perception rolls, please, that would be lovely. Thank you. So 15 or my passive of 26. I'll take your passive, obviously. Natural 20. But what's your plus and minus to that? Why can't I just say natural 20 and have it like that? 26. Shut up. 26.
00:59:29
Speaker
26, so you matched him. Wow. Did I? Oh, nice. Yes, the watch. Lovely. Okay. So, Drago, you're already outside at this point and Karsten, you step through the edge of this and see Drago sat nearby, peering off into the distance as you approach him. Drago, not Drago, Karsten sort of toddles along. Me and you on this watch then, Drago.
00:59:59
Speaker
Brilliant. So, Castan will then use Prestigitation and sort of click his fingers at the end of his pipe, which will light it, and then he will sort of puff on it a little bit. Do you want some? No, I'm okay. Thank you. You probably do enough smoking on your own being a dragon and all that. So, what's the plan after getting the onyx reaver then? Castan.
01:00:30
Speaker
Yep. Let's keep our mind on the task for this evening. Okay. Which means keeping watch. Okay. Keeping your senses alert. Okay. And keeping your mind clear. And under no circumstances does it mean you hum. So I can sing.
01:01:05
Speaker
And you just see Drago's face is a bit non-plus, as if he's talking to a child who doesn't understand the bear basics. And he just kind of doesn't know what to say. I was just having a little fun. Okay. So, so, you know, I turned Claude into a bird. Are there any creatures that you want to be?
01:01:32
Speaker
Drago just points his head towards you and gives you a narrow look. I'm gonna say a dragon. And Drago turns his head and looks towards the distance. Okay. And your watch passes with no... I had this problem last time. What was the word? Without incident. Incident, thank you. I always forget that word.
01:02:01
Speaker
and your watch passes with no incident. Then Helena and Robin are next to take the watch. So I imagine you guys wake them up and we'll just speak to that bit. Helena and Robin, you're outside the hut taking your watch. Could you both roll either a joint perception or one of you take advantage?
01:02:31
Speaker
Let's both roll. Yeah, I've already rolled mine. What'd you get, Helena? Mine's an 18. Okay, and Robin? It's an app for the second roll on the row. Mine's also an 18. Wow. We're matching on these, which is lovely and great. Cool, so you're writing your watch. If there's anything you want to talk about, it can happen, but the majority of your watch passes with no incident. I would just say if I come out with a freshly brewed tea and I'll offer one to Helena and I'll say,
01:03:01
Speaker
Thank you for what you did with Talia. I can't say I can take that thanks as I feel I did nothing. In fact, I feel I did the opposite. I helped her cause her own memory loss. I think that's what she needs right now. She is almost certainly going to have to confront what it is she saw, but
01:03:27
Speaker
Well, I suppose she's doing what she thinks is right to keep her safe while we're on this mountain, and I can't begrudge her that. I'm trying to think of the only other reason why she would do that to herself, and I can't figure an answer. If I was as terrified as she was, I would also want to forget. So I can't blame her for doing what she did. I just wish that she hadn't, because we need some answers.
01:03:57
Speaker
I think it's her who needs the answers and well, when the time comes, we'll have to help her get them, I think. Anyway, you've probably noticed from talking to her, we don't necessarily always have the affinity with her, so whatever it is you manage to do. Thank you.
01:04:26

I'm guilty of projecting my own hang-ups, I guess, on her. My own failings in my own life. I don't know. I'd like to keep her safe, but... I would too. She's young, but she is powerful and she has got her own mind as much as she may have been possessed by whatever it was last night.

That's precisely why I think that we'll have to be there for her when she confronts whatever it is she saw, because she's going to have to confront it. I have no doubt about that. I'm really sorry I can't do that thing that Carstan does. This will taste only of metal, I'm afraid. No

Weapons Stolen and Mysterious Figure

tears. It's still lovely. It still reminds me of home. So thank you for that. Same for me.

sorry the only thing Helena will do is try to scout a little bit for any other sort of shadowy figures of someone that's because she knows that Julia said before about her father as in Helena's father sending out a couple of men to keep an eye on her she's still aware of maybe there might be other people around or she's still aware of that thought that

her father's got somebody to follow her so she will just while sipping this tea sitting next to Robin just keep her eye out for anything even if there's nothing there she's still going to be aware of it. Could you give me another another perception check please then? Six.
01:06:07
Speaker
Okay, you see nothing else aside from what you would normally. You get distracted once or twice through the tea, which seems to fog up slightly in front of you, causing a bit of mist in front of your face, which means sometimes your vision is slightly obscured, but aside from that, you don't see anything out of the ordinary, anything at all in this ravine as the sun continues to set down. Oh, it's quite dark actually by this point, as you sit with Roland.
01:06:32
Speaker
However, as I said, you watch passes with that incident. It does pass with that incident, but just as you both go in to arouse, not arouse, right? That's brilliant. That is one of my favourite slip ups ever. As you go into arouse, the others.
01:06:57
Speaker
to rouse, remove the... Oh, I know. I know. I've just done lots of work. Oh, weird dick swinging tonight, guys. That's it. You went to the tent and it's just Drago swinging it around because it's been a while. The CM has decided what happened there. So, you know, we've got to follow the DM's direction there, guys. Yep. Got to go with it. Oh, you want me to rouse, do you? No, stop it, Drago. Not again. I don't know what happened in Bleakmore. My cheek's actually hurting.
01:07:24
Speaker
Right, anyway, no, we'll backtrack on a little bit. So, as you go back into Rao's folly and thali from their slumber to give them their watch, Robin, you hear a clatter from within the hut. You hear a clatter from within, and what you notice is very quickly, in the far corner behind where Thali's stuff is, a hole.
01:07:55
Speaker
entirely still lying there. But what you see just slip out down this hole at the last minute is Drago's greatsword. It gets taken down. And as you look around, you realize that every single weapon has been taken from within the hut. And as you look out, all you can see is this bundle of weapons moving away from the group, away from you, back towards the beginning of the ravine where you previously came from. All the weapons, all the bows, armor,
01:08:25
Speaker
I'll quickly send out my mage hand to try and grab one of my weapons.
01:08:29
Speaker
And as you send that out, all you see is you don't see anything because this thing seems to be invisible, but Mage Hand is broken as something seems to have thwarted it and slashed at it as you get the sense of it being slashed at, and it continues to pick up its pace and move away. As your eyes move up off into the distance to maybe see where this is running to on nearby jutting out piece of cliff, a bit of rock low down near the front where you first came in through, you see a large hulking figure standing at possibly about 1920 feet tall.
01:08:59
Speaker
This isn't a figure similar to the one you saw previously. This is something that looks totally different and something you have never ever seen before, staring back towards you all at the hut. And that's where we're going to end this week's episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop. On that very Sarah note, honestly, I'd rather shade our dye all over again than lose my sword. Imagine if you watched the sword fall off the cliff.
01:09:32
Speaker
Thank you very much for listening to that great episode, everyone. You've broken him, Mark. You've broken him.
