Speaker: Oh, if I break the game, I can break all the rules and I can ruin the game for myself. Here's a few other things I can do to fuck the game up. Daenerys Targaryen is a twat. Bruce Willis is dead at the end of Sixth Sense. ah Fucking hell, Will. Yeah. It's only a game. No one's actually playing a real person.
Speaker: It's not really at all. Campaign. Do you know, Will, if you just read the last page of the book rather than the first page, you'll know what happens straight away. I've got this ah perfect plan.
Speaker: It's 1926, the opening of the episode. Thank you. Everyone's leaving.
Speaker: Hello everyone and welcome to this week's episode of The Fellowship of the Tabletop by Lemdrakonis. We are a live play 5e D&D 2024 podcast set in the magical homebrew world of Aerith in the kingdom of Dralak. Joining you for this week's episode we have Pooh Bear who plays the human cleric Emron.
Speaker: Hello. We've got the apple pie loving edgelord Callum who plays the Warforged Starter Mr. Alpha. Hello. Ian who plays the Tiefling Warster O'Nyx Krell. ah Will who plays the Dragonborn Druid Balvalkon.
Speaker: He'll do. My name is Mark and I am playing the human blade singer, Seth Farrar, and my last, but by no means least is our narrative and navigator, the negotiator of knobs, the nurturer of the nads, the nomad of the nether region, dungeon master, Danny. Dicks.
Speaker: Speaking of which, we find ourselves deep in a sausage making hovel in Southern Dralak and... oh get Old girl is sat down, rolling sausages with meat all over his hands, sloppy, as as he slaps down another wad of mints onto the table to roll a sausage. He looks at us and says...
Speaker: Ooh, dungeons and big old bronze doors are in front of the party, which is littered with corpses around. It looks like some sort of old civilization. There's some lit old torches on the way downward in a tunnel which leads to a big old hall with some serpent-headed warrior statues coated in blood. Some fresh, some old. Is it a trap?
Speaker: Alpha gets stabbed up, but self mends somehow. The floor is trapped. Nithravar dies. Oh no Anyway, Nyx leads the group with a little bit of skill through some painful trappy traps on the floor.
Speaker: Emron hears some shouting of help and goes a-running to help and finds a room full of foods and treasures and a stone altar and shit. Alpha goes a-lootin' and finds a little bit of money.
Speaker: Nyx and Ball decide to follow Emron. Meanwhile, Seth goes off on his own fuckin' route and kicks down a locked door to find an up-chris-kra armory and a single, unopened scroll and a map. He finds out that the scroll looks like it's from Delman Trace, and it just has a few words. It says, 60 moons until the alignment... And that was dated two days ago, so get your maths head on, boys!
Speaker: And finally, there is something of familiar within this, something that makes Sethy Seth isai think of Captain Yaw, you know, that spider bitch!
Speaker: There is a musky metallic quality to the air in this temple, which seems to remain constant as you traverse each room. Seth, having recently recently discovered this armory, rejoins the rest of the party who are pursuing these screams of help coming far to the northwest of this chamber.
Speaker: On the hunt for signs of the lost winged watch operative McBenner, whose last known location was this temple, is this maybe his cries you're hearing the other side of this door? Emron, you're currently squared up against it.
Speaker: How do you want to proceed? um So last episode, I believe we were the door was locked and I was trying to basically break it down. Correct. So going to keep trying to break it down.
Speaker: Alright, it's an escalating DC from the last time, so if you have straight athletics check for me. Okie dokie.
Speaker: Ah, that's a seven. Again, you are and unable to break this open with sheer force. You will watch as Emron is just hacking at this door with his hammer.
Speaker: Is there a keyhole in the door? Can we notice a keyhole in the door? Yes, there is a keyhole. Excellent. I will just kind of, as Emron's kind of smashing away at the door and it's not making any motion, Ba will kind of sidle up to him say, hold on, hold on, let me just have a look.
Speaker: And he's going to go down and peek his eye through the keyhole. Can I have, do I see onto the other side of said door? Yes, you do. Like everything in this chamber, the torches are all lit. The sconces all relatively ah fresh.
Speaker: And you see... a chamber that continues about 20 feet ahead of you before turning westward.
Speaker: Okay. I will just say, if it's pace we need to get through, I think I can just get us through this door, maybe two at a time. um You might want to stand back if two of you can get near to me, or maybe one of you can get near to me. I'm just going to get ah my spirit to just take us straight through.
Speaker: What's the door made of? Messing. Okay. And Ron goes, yeah, let's go. Nithilver's going to scream, charge! And Seth's going to run at the door.
Speaker: He's done it once before, he's doing it again. All right, Seth, make an athletics check for me, please. Easy, maybe. That's a sweet, sweet 13. thirteen
Speaker: So you shoulder barge into this door that's already taken a bit of hammering from Emron and you feel like that would have been absolutely fine with the door in pristine condition, but Emron seems to have bent it a little bit that it's even more difficult to open. Classic Emron. And you just ask a emron knock your shoulder in and you sustain two points of bludgeoning damage as you sort of have to yeah shake off this impact injury on your shoulder. ah it's going to go straight on his nose. Ouchie. Okay, yeah, he's going to slouch to the side and ah try and kind of relocate his shoulder for bit.
Speaker: Cool. Whilst he's doing that, if, ah yeah, Baal kind of, I suppose, now go back up to the door, have a quick peek through, call his wildfire spirit over, and it'll engulf himself, Seth, and Emron, seeing though Seth has now charged into the door and fiery teleports us through to the other side if I've got clear vision to it. yeah um So anyone that's within five foot of the wildfire spirit that didn't move back would take fire damage, but I'd hope people kind of followed Baal's warning as he basically just teleports us to the other side um and then...
Speaker: from the other side of the door, I'd do the same thing and have the wildfire spirit kind of appear back within the, ah literally on the opposite side of the door, literally just like it's kind of picking up a group, taking us through, picking up a group, taking us through um as a means of haste to get us through this obstacle.
Speaker: He's going to do it in a cool, fiery explosion kind of way, hopefully without damaging anyone else. Everyone will shuffle away so we don't like blow up. What is clear, though, is when you arrive in that chamber, Bal, and you look back towards the door that's slightly bent now, you just see a key on a hook in the center of the rear of this door.
Speaker: Oh, well, fuck. um Bear with me. And he'll get it and he'll try and jam it into what's probably a fucked up lock, jimmy it bit. You've been there before, haven't you? Yeah. Haven't we all?
Speaker: And yes, it fits and the door unlocks. It swings open towards you. This one is open. Emron, at the top of this chamber, as it continues westward, you can just see...
Speaker: For another 20 feet west, another door. This one is not locked. It is ajar. And the screams of help, help, are... incredibly clear. Okay. With a shout of best day of my life, I'm going to charge towards the door.
Speaker: Charge towards the door. Like i said, it's oh it's already ajar, so you're pushing it open with momentum. I'm done pushing the door open with my shield hammer at the ready. Nith's following along with Seth. Sounds like everyone's coming as well.
Speaker: Oh, yeah. Nixie's still in the room. Nixie, are you following the train? So many things that's just happened all at once and then the door has just opened up and he's just watched Alpha run through it. He's just like...
Speaker: yeah Cool. I see us. And yeah, he'll just sort her over run behind alpha. You emerge into, this quite compact chamber.
Speaker: It looks to be a sort of ceremonial preparation chamber where you see these wraps and these embalming tools of the dead. This room wants to con a much darker purpose.
Speaker: The walls are lined with ancient, crumbling canopic jars and ceremonial tools, while the centre of the room holds this this grim array of torture implements, a torture rack, a bloodstained table and a series of sharp objects.
Speaker: What's most striking and most dynamic in this room is that Hovering within a rope trap about 10 feet in the air is a bundle of orcish mass.
Speaker: Darren, what unfortunate soul has found itself trapped in this net? um Yeah, so um hello everybody. Really, really amazing to to to be putting my voice back down your earwaves again.
Speaker: but What you see trapped in this bundle of ah mass is this hulking half-orc. He has the height of what you would expect of a conventional orc, but the stockiness of what could only be described as being akin to a dwarf.
Speaker: He's got long, shaggy blonde hair that covers his traditional Dralak dusty skin color that we associate with the Orcs of Dralak. He's got an absolutely massive beard that comes pretty much all the way down to his belly button and is braided to keep it all neat and compact. There's a little gray clasp.
Speaker: towards the bottom of the, of the, of the beard. He has a half plate. Well, appears to look like half plate though. It looks quite loose, dark jutted, breastplate on him, on on which on his shoulder pads are the shoulder pads that look like they're almost made to look like black feathers and look like wings.
Speaker: He has in his hand, though it's trapped at his side, this this hulking great axe and a series of smaller axes at his sides and and and javelins on his back. um Danny, is he is he is he free and able to speak? Free and able to speak, you're just bound in a net. Bound.
Speaker: Ah, hello, friends. It is really, really good to see you. As you can see, I am somewhat trapped. Oh my goodness, it is you. If you could get me out of here, my friends, I would really, really appreciate it. For as you can see, I am somewhat bound and trapped as what what you would call an orc in an head.
Speaker: How long have you been screaming for? Oh, I don't know. It's probably been a few hours. And by hours, I mean, it could get to be a yeah few hours, few hours, maybe, I don't know, a day.
Speaker: But I always feel like days when you're trushed up like ah like an asshole. Okay. and Everyone's just going to look to the group. I know you.
Speaker: I know two of you. Yes. If I could just stop spinning around and focus on your face, I'm very excited you see, and it appears to be moving the net. If you could cut me down, um you too.
Speaker: And he's just gesturing. I can't actually point, but if you were able, if I was able to, I would be pointing at the tiefling and I would be pointing at that the, the, the, the skinny man hello it is me do you remember me you got egg and you got egg and and you dragonborn you got big egg haha I remember because I was there in games do you remember me now I helped you yes yes you you you tiefling and you human I helped you in games I don't know if you remember
Speaker: You sound like the guy that Dr. Evil tries to kill in the first Austin Powers. That's on the keeper. I love it. if if If somebody could let me out of this trap, it's very, very restrictive.
Speaker: Particularly around the groin. I am proportionate. so he's called out so You called out Nyx during that, right? Yes. Sorry, I was i always was acclimatizing.
Speaker: ah
Speaker: You know me? Yes, we fought Basilisk together. I died. You brought me back to life. I'm very grateful for that.
Speaker: Oh, fair enough. well You don't remember? Literally, I literally made sure you got Basilisk Egg in Clash of Champions. You remember? Champions games, you got egg.
Speaker: Yeah, well, there's there's a lot of things that's happened between getting said egg and this very moment. But I'm glad to see that you're alive.
Speaker: And well, how did you end up here? It's taken us ages. it's ah It's a long story. from From games, I was very poorly. Basilisk Venom made me feel very weak. I had to heal. I healed.
Speaker: And when I came to, I was like, I have problem and I need to find people who are with Winged Watch but are not Winged Watch. And there is a very, very complex reason for that, which I would love to explain to you once I am out of this net.
Speaker: Now, I've come looking for you because I believe you and me are looking for same person. My partner is somewhere in this temple, though he's not in this net with me. Your partner?
Speaker: Yes, goes by name of McBenna. Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That marries up with what we know.
Speaker: Okay, Seth's going to be looking for, is there a tied up rope or something? Or if you can't see something easily, and I'm talking like if it's not right by him or near Nith, he's going to launch his scimitar at the rope above the net, hoping to break the hold and let him fall to the ground.
Speaker: it's It's a fairly um rudimentary trap, a net trap. So yes, there is a winch at the top, but sorry, like a pulley at the top. And there's a taut rope line that sort of goes over your head and is tied to the doorframe itself.
Speaker: Yeah, I'm just going to hit the rope really hard with Mercer, Mital. Bonk. And it slices through and ah Darren, your character descends about five feet and lands on this torture table, torture table but no impact damage to worry about.
Speaker: a He'll get up and he'll run over and he's just going to give Seth a big hug. It's good. So good to see you again. Like I really felt we bonded when you saved my life from that pushing tabaxi in the games. I'm really grateful for that, by the way.
Speaker: He's then going to look around the room and goes, I'm so glad you got egg and you, you, Mr. Dragonborn. I'm so glad you got big egg. That is what we wanted to achieve when we went into games. So mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.
Speaker: Yeah. He's going to look at Emron and go, boo. It's what they did in the games. Don't worry, though. I like you. Farrakh thinks you're great. And then he's going to go over to Alpha and go, oh, it's Man. It is Metal Man, yes?
Speaker: Yes. Please do not touch me. um I just wondered if it was Metal Man or Metal Woman. I'm not going to touch you. I i don't want to invade your space. Me and me and me and ah a blade-throwy boy over here, we're good friends. We met in games and bonded over dead Bastlis Venom.
Speaker: Okay. um Sorry. Yes, for those of you who don't recognize me because I now have a big beard which I've grown because of my belt. My name is Farak Shandjali and I am a member of the Winged Watch.
Speaker: Insight check. Go for it. ah You roll insight and Darren don't tell us but you can roll deception if you're lying or persuasion ah should you be telling the truth.
Speaker: A nice, gentle, hostile hello. Anyone can go around saying they're part of the wing watch. I got an 18 on my insight. I mean, was going to hit him, but yeah.
Speaker: I got a natural 20 on my persuasion. You didn't have to tell us the second part, but thank you. Sorry. you you believe You believe he is, Samron.
Speaker: Okay, cool. Fine. See, no, I got wings on my armor. Don't you see? i' Plus, I was in games. Like, we literally sent people in to help you. I nearly died. A basilisk nearly killed me.
Speaker: I just looked at you, mate. I didn't say anything. Where is McBenner in all of this? And how did you end up split? Now, you see, that is a good question. Me and McBunner, we were partners. We've done lots of runs between Goldview, and we've done lots of runs between Goldrew, and anywhere anywhere else in Dralak, really, but mostly Scorched Helm.
Speaker: Now, ah when games come around, we get separated because Farok is asked to go into games because I have experience as a gladiator. I go into games, and unfortunately, me and McBanner separate. He comes here, and McBanner disappears without a trace. Now, I want Winged Watch to help find McBanner, but they say no. They say they've sent you. I go, great. I like them.
Speaker: So I decide to go and try and find McBanner. But I overtake you, because apparently you guys like to wander in various directions that are not in the direction of travel that you're supposed to be going.
Speaker: But anyway, here you all are. It's really good to see you all. And I'm so glad you're here because I think McBenner is deeper in this temple, which I think is full of very dangerous things, including this net that I got caught in.
Speaker: Okay, you're a bit full on. um Thank you. is Is there anything else in the room that's interesting other than Thorac? Oh, fucking hell.
Speaker: Harsh, man. Harsh. ah Aside from the sort of torture and embalming tools that are around, this looks like a ceremonial room. There's certainly nothing like Seth has described further south. This is more in keeping with the original use of this this space than what the temporary yeah or more recent desidants have been using it for.
Speaker: there anything think on the walls that sort of like continues to give me ideas about the origins? Because obviously i saw stuff on the bri bronze doors I came in. It was a bit eroded. but It's consistent with that. this is This is definitely constructed by Yuan-Ti hands.
Speaker: the The sort of ceramics, there's no artwork or anything on that. And you're not really familiar with the sort of tribal traditions of Yuan-Ti in this region to know any nuanced detail around them around ages or tribes. or ah But but the the consistent thing is still...
Speaker: ah the iconography of the sun and the moon ah in play in in positions of worship in each room. Does that make sense?
Speaker: you suddenly see on your shoulder, you you don't feel it climb up you, but you notice this very odd-looking... what is it sat on your shoulder uh it's got these ridiculously massive eyes um long five needle-like teeth uh huge broken wings tiny gaunt arms and legs and it's just sat upon your shoulder and it's huge unblinking eyes are just staring at you uh farrox either on alpha and he'll just go middle man
Speaker: Don't make any sudden movements. I believe there is a yuan tea on my shoulder. I don't think it has noticed me yet. No, no, that that is Nithravar.
Speaker: and What is Nithravar? Going to look towards Seth for a brief moment and then look back. We are not sure how to classify Nithravar. Nithravar is just Nithravar.
Speaker: Call it um a pet, a compadre, a friend? I am not too sure yet. An annoyance, Emron says from Jamie outside the room. and Also a possibility.
Speaker: i Tharic, you're just here in your ear. Kind of in your head, but not in your head. But you think it's from Nithravar, this quasit thing off your shoulder. Just say, oh, what's this?
Speaker: A new thread in the weave. Frayed at the edges, but still intact. Tell me, wanderer, do you step into this world by a fate's decree or by some cruel jest of the cosmos?
Speaker: I stepped into trap because I thought it was a trap, but then I thought sometimes things are not what they seem. Allow me to tell you a story that backs up that theory. I was once sent to the great city of Goldview, and I was sent to a pub which was called the Double Ork Head Pub, and I got told that behind the bar was an ork.
Speaker: Now, you hear name a pub, how many heads do you think this ork will have? Two. I hear you say. I went into pub and all of a sudden it was like, of course the orc doesn't have two heads. Orcs only have one head. But I literally went into that head expecting one thing. So when I saw trap, I thought, maybe it's not trap.
Speaker: But then I went into trap and it was actually trap. So i would to answer your question, I would say cosmos. Nithravar is going to stare back for a few seconds longer and then Nithravar is going to turn to the others and say, in every version of every time he says the same thing.
Speaker: and then just looks back and then just disappears off your shoulder and appears on Seth's shoulder, who's giving you as a kind of a furrowed brow look. Is he just a beard? Skinny man? Is he just a beard? I mean, i literally, we were in games together. You got Vasilis egg. I was very happy about that.
Speaker: You also didn't let Farrakh die, which in hindsight, I was more happy about. He's going to probably... Sorry, go ahead. ah You're probably wondering why, I mean, you know why I'm here now, but I also wanted to find you because, as I say, I need people who know Winged Watch and like Winged Watch, but are not Winged Watch.
Speaker: That's, ah Seth's going to sneer at the mention of the Winged Watch and we'll turn us back and start. If, Emeron, did you say you were looking for things and stuff or ways to go to find, um ah what's his name?
Speaker: McBenna. Yep. Yeah, during ah during um Thorak's like long speech there, Emron would have been like looking for it. He'd just sort sidle out the room go ah yeah and Yeah, Seth would have noticed that. In the mention of the wing, Varrock, you'd see like Seth's eye twitch slightly and the sneer, and then he he'd look towards Emron and try and find him and either look like he's helping or pretend to be helping or just stand next to him to to move away from you.
Speaker: Yeah, Emron starts to shuffle towards the door. like As we've all come in, Emron's like, let's let's keep going then.
Speaker: How far did you get? ah Farrock. Farrock. Farrock. How far did you get into the chamber? Obviously you reached here, but like how much did you, how did you get past the first fucking trap?
Speaker: There was first trap. Okay. How far did you get in total? How many rooms have you been in? in I got into this room and then ended up in net.
Speaker: Everyone says around, did you lock the door behind yourself? Of course. Didn't want anybody, didn't want villains to follow me in. I thought if you want to hear here, then they may try to kill me. Okay.
Speaker: But I'm glad you're not, you auntie. emron's off okay i like him where is emron heading i like you in fact i wouldn't be alive it wasn't for you so i owe my life to you tiefling i also owe my life to grumpy skinny man actually that's a very good point uh so as your lord and savior i feel like ah you are in debt to me ah yeah you are my savior but you are not my lord my lord goes by the name of sparrowhawk don't like him right let's move on But no, i will I will definitely be grateful and I will use my axe to keep you safe if if if if that's something that... Like it, bodyguard up front. Let's go. Yes, yes, bodyguard. That's it. That's what I'll be.
Speaker: Alpha, what are you thinking about this new situation? I am struggling to understand him. It is a language I am not familiar with. It's common. It doesn't sound like any common I have heard before. True. True.
Speaker: Does metal man not speak common tongue? I can also speak in Orcish to him. He's also got ears and good hearing as well, Alpha. I wasn't sure because he was very quiet.
Speaker: Wow, new guy casting shade. Wow. I don't mean to. Seriously, I'm sorry. Can we leave him back in the net, please? No, he's going to help. We should try and find McBenner, though.
Speaker: It is logical that he comes with us. Our interests are currently aligned. yes Yes, absolutely. McBenner's my friend. that We go long back. We've we've done many journeys together.
Speaker: Bal will just kind of pull Nyx to one side. Not now. Do you recognize him? like Do you actually recognize him? Can I make a history check on that, please? what perception More perception.
Speaker: Can I make a perception check on that, please?
Speaker: Eight.
Speaker: He's really familiar, but it's hard to say exactly with all the adrenaline and nerves and anxiety going into that match. um But he's he's really familiar. I get that sense that I've known him ah have met him. Like, you know, when you have a massive bender at a local ale house and then you wake up the next day and you have flashes of who you met and spoke to. It's kind of one of those hazy things.
Speaker: um But yeah, seems on the level. My only experience of that is snake run where I couldn't really move my feet. But for your jaw, if you feel like...
Speaker: do you recognize him or feel like you might know something there? Maybe we can trust him. Just keep an eye on him. Yeah, absolutely. I'm not getting any, uh, yeah, weird feelings in my jellies or anything like that, but I will.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. I'm all here for McBenner. It'll, I don't actually know Macbennat. Really, Bala? I'm only doing this because this is what the group wanted to do.
Speaker: Well, if he turns, looks like there's some tasty plate that could be heated up, so we're fine. Okay. I always feel safer around you.
Speaker: During that conversation, Nithra Vaz just nestled himself onto Emron's shoulder and would be whispering into Emron's ear, Turn right. See the door that Seth kicked. The power of the book is good. too everyone's going to follow Nithravar's advice.
Speaker: He's going to go towards the door that he's kicked. Also, while casting a look over his shoulder at at Seth, sort of been like, and like indicating like, which which way does he think we should should be going? And he's he's just kind of walking like a like a ah boy being kind of told, being told to go directions but in a shop by his mother.
Speaker: Nithravar's just, this way fool, left nether, crock us.
Speaker: Uh, Are you meaning our physical left or map left? He'll be gesturing with a finger the way to go, and he's going pointing the way of the damaged door with the Seth-shaped face ah dent in the in the door. And Emron walks into that room.
Speaker: And like I previously described, this is, for all intents and purposes, a pop-up makeshift armory with a Kriskra garb.
Speaker: ah scattered quite militantly around, so more arranged than scattered. And the striking thing is everything here is the weaponry that's sort of racked up and set for storage. Nothing's bladed, it's all blunted stuff.
Speaker: Hammers, mauls, et cetera.
Speaker: But there's nothing here out of the ordinary other than the fact that this is an Akriska garrison. How well stocked is it? like Is it equipped for like, can I tell from the amount of weapons that are here, how many people it's it's stocked for, if you follow me?
Speaker: Yeah. So there's maybe about 20 25 sort of bedrolls. The weapon racks are largely empty, however, um save for two or three um in in each section.
Speaker: Provisions here are spent. So there there is no there iss no food. There is very little in terms of um things to drink. But the paperwork was left out. There is candles still burning on the central table.
Speaker: um You get the sense that they aren't far or they mean to return or this hasn't had a permanent okay adam exit. Does that make sense?
Speaker: Yeah. um Everyone sort of looks over at Seth. Has Seth come in the room as well?
Speaker: Yeah, he has. He's kind of stood in the doorway, and kind of running his fingers over the the dent in the door and just kind of peeking in. if If there's no kind of other way out or doorway through, he won't be entering into He'll just be standing in the doorway. But Nithrava will be but bouncing around the space, kind of going up and sniffing things, licking the floor, um staring at the ceiling for a couple of seconds and just generally being um otherworldly and creepy.
Speaker: So just while you're there, Seth, hovering at the doorway, not quite going in, The longer you stay there, the more you're
Speaker: your left ear perks the sounds. So to the east or to the south of you, you're hearing metal clanging against something. You're hearing screams.
Speaker: And you're hearing a low resonant rumble coming from above you. Okay. ah With that, instantly his back will straighten, the kind of relaxed posture he's had up to that point disappears.
Speaker: He snaps into kind of soldier boy, ah will draw his scimitar. Someone's getting fucked up. ding um And he's going to um crank it. No, he's going to draw draw out his scimitar of wounding and instantly turn and head off down the corridor.
Speaker: So Emron, you would have noticed that Nithra's ah kind of whole persona kind of shifts as well. And Emron, Nithra will just say to you, it comes, blood and thunder. And he's just going to scuttle, not disappear, but scuttle out the door and scuttle to follow Seth as he heads down the corridor.
Speaker: emron follows because seth's clearly got something there's a bee in his bonnet at this point i imagine pretty much everyone else has caught up unless you're yeah farak will have farak would have seen the blade get drawn and the almost in a degree of excitement would have would have drawn his own great axe and it's just gonna run off and and follow seth and emron okay So we'll position everyone in that that order then, provisionally, unless there's any alteration. i've got Seth at the the front, Emron just behind.
Speaker: Followed by Alpha, Therok, Nyx, and Baal. I would have put Baal in front of me. is that Is that taking a look at his ass all the Standard position behind you, but yeah, I'll take that. I would also say unless Alpha goes at a pace as well, Farrok will have overtaken Alpha unless Alpha's also running. far i I'm definitely not running. Alpha is not running whatsoever. If Farrok's got pace to him, then yeah, by all means.
Speaker: So, Seth. Just one more thing. Sorry, just one more thing. and Nithravar would have, and Emron and Tharuk, you probably hear this as well, Nithravar would be um appealing to Seth, just to come on, please, just put it on. Read one more, come on. And just you hear these kind of pleading things from Nithravar.
Speaker: um But yeah, sorry.
Speaker: And as you... You and your companion are sort of at opposition to each other. To the south of you, you're at an intersection. To the south of you, there appears to be a long corridor heading off to the southeast.
Speaker: But immediately to the west of you is this wide open door.
Speaker: Inside that door is a path, a stairwell leading up.
Speaker: And as you stand in that doorway, you can feel the breeze again on your skin. And then when the breeze settles in those few sos set seconds, you hear the clashing of metal rumbling. Okay.
Speaker: Coming from upstairs. Coming from upstairs. So the breeze, my tells is from upstairs. Yeah, so going through this door, that's where it's coming from. Yeah. Okay. Okay. And it feels like if I go south and then... ah south east um i'm kind of going back on myself it feels like i we're going in a circle so he's gonna yeah he's gonna put two and two together and go okay we'll head towards the noise and we'll we'll um we'll sneak sneak i'm gonna try and sneak he's gonna try and be quiet stealthy soldier boy um up up the stairs let's see how this works out
Speaker: Do you want me to do a stealth check? I would love a stealth check. I'd love a stealth check for the party if everyone's following. but one I take these at disadvantage. Yes, that's why. yeah Me and you. Seth may do amazingly, but you may be let down by your friends. Oh, I didn't. Don't worry, I did not.
Speaker: Wow. Okay. I didn't roll it twice like I wanted it to. I rolled twice and one of them was a bloody crit. What a waste. Okay. um
Speaker: I can see it. Eight from Alpha. I can see, sorry, an eight from Seth, a 13 from Alpha, a seven from Baal, a 15 from Emron, and Alpha rolled it again.
Speaker: I have disadvantage. Great. Thank you. It 13. Tharok, a 10. So so the sagg of the two people with disadvantage actually rolled better than the rest of the part.
Speaker: ah think We're used to it. We're used to it. That's hilarious. Thank you for those roles. Apart from Nick's boss dick. You ascend the staircase and what's becoming quite clear, Seth, as you're sort of um galloping up the staircase, it's about a 200 flight um stairwell. it's It's quite an intense incline.
Speaker: And as each step, you're feeling the sort of pressure of... of um the wind build a little bit more and more, like you you're about to get out of this sort of vacuum and into the exterior once again.
Speaker: And you guys have been down here a while, that the sun is setting at this point. So as you emerge out of this temple, you find yourself
Speaker: in a huge bowl-like ravine This thing is maybe the size of an arena, about 300 feet, 400 feet in every direction.
Speaker: And you're still the edge of it, and there is this single bridge going across this ravine into this rocky, cropped central chamber.
Speaker: This bridge stretches for maybe 500 feet. It's very narrow. You'd only be able to move two abreast down here.
Speaker: The sunlight, or the sunset, but still, the evening sky is above you. And as you just look to the side of this bridge and over, you cannot see the bottom.
Speaker: So there is this big rocky mass 500 feet ahead of you and just this very thin bridge. And as you all begin to sort of emerge, and you, Seth, just take a second to get your breath again after all those steps, you're hearing a rumble coming from that chamber.
Speaker: You're hearing screams on the wind.
Speaker: And that taste...
Speaker: iron in the air, that dryness, it's really quite pronounced here. How would like to proceed?
Speaker: Seth's going to look back at the group, look at Emram. He's going let out toothy smile. Still with sword drawn. Oh, shit. He's going to fucking run across the bridge. Let's go. guys yeah
Speaker: Okay. so battle with no regrets.
Speaker: No. We leave them. You say thin bridge. like so it's made of stone said It's made of stone, but you could get two abreast just. So it's it's just about 10 feet wide.
Speaker: Okay. And it's just pitch black down below. Yeah. And there is no ledge.
Speaker: But it is stone. Nyx is going to take out a copper and just flick it down and listen.
Speaker: You're listening for 10 seconds? 15 seconds? Could you make a perception check? Meanwhile, Seth and Amon are off the other other side. We're 60 feet away.
Speaker: thirteen
Speaker: don't here the Yeah, you don't want to fall down there, guys. He says to no one as we've all gone. Farrakh would still be stood there. He's like, ah but I will wait for you as your bodyguard. When are we moving?
Speaker: That's what I'm talking about. ah That's what I'm talking about. ah You're ahead of me and I'll just take um'll take the rear. I'm very good at fighting from the back.
Speaker: ah go You hear Baal as he's 30 feet ahead going, I'll say. ah but he's trying to keep the middle of the group going. Okay. So I'm going to get this order right. So Seth is at the Vanguard, followed, I'm assuming, by Emron.
Speaker: Yeah, we're there 60 feet ahead of everybody else. Right. And then i'm going to say the mid would be Alpha and Baal. Who's the sub? The rear. Nice. Me.
Speaker: It's Nyx at the rear. Farok, just the front of Nyx. Thank you so much. Now, what happens, Seth and Emron, as you' at the Vanguard and you close this distance down to, you get about 100 feet across this bridge.
Speaker: There is a thud at the part of the bridge that you emerged. And Nyx and Darok feel this most heavily. Oh, fuck.
Speaker: As you sort of look back,
Speaker: there is this Indiana Jones-like boulder. Go, go, go, go. Fucking run. Fucking Fucking go. picking up speed and you're beginning to realize, Seth, that you're actually on a decline. After about 100 feet, the bridge slowly begins to decline a little bit.
Speaker: we're going to move into a bit of a challenge. Seth and Emron, you are 400 feet. You have 400 feet remaining. Alpha Baal, you have 450 feet remaining. alpha andal you have four hundred and fifty feet remaining Nix and Tharok, you have 475 feet remaining.
Speaker: Okay? This boulder is moving at a rate of 40 feet per round.
Speaker: So, if you can all tell me that you can sustain travelling at quicker than 40 feet, it will never reach you. actually can. Hurrah! With joys of things with dash yeah.
Speaker: That would mean that you wouldn't have any actions for anything else. Okay, that's true. Yes. Okay. um And how big the boulder? It's about 10 feet wide. So it is it is taking up the entire site. It's like you're on a marble run at this point.
Speaker: Okay, my normal speed is 30 feet. Okay. unless i um Unless I dash. Thank you. T'Bal, are you able to give us an idea about your moving speed?
Speaker: Yeah, I've got 30 foot moving speed. I have my wildfire spirit, ah but I think the moment I see the boulder come, I will command it to hover next to Nyx. and So it would be kind of not on Nyx's shoulder, but literally within five feet of him kind of flying. It can only fly 30 feet as well, ah but it obviously does have that fiery teleportation. as that once per round?
Speaker: um but it's going to be hovering around him within five feet of him regardless. Can it do its teleportation once per round? Literally every six seconds, yeah. And can it move both Tharok and Nyx?
Speaker: Anyone within five feet, so it can move up to eight, is that nine? Okay, so as long as... As long as those two are clustered, you can always sort of, you'll always be able to nudge them on an additional 30 feet. Yes, technically. Okay.
Speaker: If they're willing, which Nix hopefully would be. That would cover Nix and Therox movement speed. Bart, are you doing about your own? Not fucking clue, mate.
Speaker: Okay. I'll do some quick maths to figure at what point. He's torn between the front and the back, literally kind of turning around. he Yeah, he's... Yeah. He'll keep it 30 foot for now. theory, eventually, Nyx and Tharok will catch up to you, and then you'd be in that five-foot sphere.
Speaker: That's what I'm hearing. And how many times can it... How long is the Wildfire Spirit up? ah He's up ah probably got another 50 minutes or so. And every round he can do the teleportation.
Speaker: Correct. Correct. then I don't see any way, as long as you're always like, you're almost like a hockey stick and you're just knocking the party along, right? I don't see that there's any way this boulder is going to catch you at its current speed.
Speaker: If there are no other challenges, there's a way to get around it using the wildfire spirit. you know, sorry, said at its current speed. Yeah.
Speaker: So if shit hits the fan, I can always fly. That's my go-to. If I have to, I can fly. Oh, sure. Good for you, Emron. Yeah, see later, mate. Off you go. I can carry you, Seth. can carry you. Oh, cheers, mate. Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks, buddy. Cheers, mate.
Speaker: Seth, as you're picking up speed, and all of you, as you're you're you're approaching the sort of middle of this bridge, and it's at a very decent decline, any dexterity saving throw here, and unless you've got an ability that stabilizes your legs, like sea legs or anything like that, any dexterity saving throw, you are all making a disadvantage as a result of there is just too much momentum that you you you will not be able to to... You will be compromised in your ability to control your bodies, okay?
Speaker: You will get but ah to about halfway through this bridge and Seth, just naturally through that motion, you scuff a pebble or and it just propels about 15 feet ahead of you and you watch as one cubic block of this bridge drops.
Speaker: You get about 15 feet to react. So I need you and Emron to make dexterity saving throws, please.
Speaker: disadvantage. At disadvantage, yeah? Correct. dokie, okie dokie, okie dokie. I got a ten.
Speaker: i got a five. You did.
Speaker: So this block falls to the ground. Neither of you two can react in time. On a dice roll, evens it's Seth's side, odds it's Emron's. Odds it's Emron's.
Speaker: Emron, you begin to just sort of fall. as You're moving at such momentum that a five feet gap isn't really going to necessarily be perilous, but block in the floor just disappears and you just sort of trip and fall and you have to scramble up.
Speaker: Seth, are you stopping to help him? yeah Yeah, absolutely. I was going to say I'd go over and aid him, grab his arm, grab his his um lapel, just hold him, something, and just just yank him up his elbow and just yank him up and then come and then keep going.
Speaker: Okay, thank you. Alpha, how were you what were you doing about your speed in this? iy I have 30 feet, and obviously if I'm using an action to dash as well, then I can do 60. Okay.
Speaker: so By the time that you've got Emron back on his feet, Seth, Baal and Alpha, you've caught up and you four are now moving as one unit.
Speaker: You continue on.
Speaker: Nyx and Darok. You have enough time to respond to this hole in the ground. that's not You're the bodyguard. ah You should stay at the back and hold your arms out like a wall. or want you to think like a wall and stay there. We're going to go and get McBenner. Okay?
Speaker: Great. Mark will turn to that and go, I will stay at back, but that would be dangerous strategy for me for I will die, but I will follow. Impressive that you guys have the lung capacity to talk like that while sprinting. i i say I just think you would be a good wall.
Speaker: Farok actually is is particularly fit. He has a particularly high athletics modifier, so he's sprinting along. You realize at this point that his armor is really it not doesn't appear to be that heavy at all. Farok's in his element. almost this.
Speaker: you could almost mistake him for enjoying this
Speaker: As you're running, you're gaining speed an incredible amount. You'll soon see, Seth, Emron, Alpha, and Baal, that there is a portion missing about 100 feet ahead of you. There is a 10 feet gap in that bridge.
Speaker: You have a run-up, and you have one turn all to prepare for that, not Nyx and Darok, because you're too far back. How are you preparing for a 10 feet gap?
Speaker: holding my breath, closing my eye and no, just going to get your feet right like you would for a triple jump getting the hop skip, how many jump bits getting them all sorted. He's going to get his right feet in the right go just he can jump off on the right foot and yeah, just kind of that's it for me.
Speaker: the longhand Yeah, long jump rules will apply here so if your strength is high enough this might not be a problem. You need strength higher than 10, basically. If your strength's higher than 10, you can jump that with a 10-foot run-up.
Speaker: There's no roll for it if you've got a strength above 10? No. Okay. Does anyone not have a strength above 10? Mine's 10 on the dot. You're fine. Nyx, what's your strength?
Speaker: Nine. Okay. So, you approach this gap. You four, Alpha, yours is above 10? Yes. I'm looking forward to this. You four managed to make it across with ah no bother, but you you have to... um Those of you bang on 10, I need you to make dexterity saving throws, please.
Speaker: Oh, shit. As this is literally at the disadvantage because we're running downhill. Are we talking to... Sorry. Not yet. Not yet. Those who are yeah that will have the long jump length. Of course. No problem.
Speaker: Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Okay. Please reveal yourself. Eight from Baal.
Speaker: As you land, you just you just don't have enough of your right foot over the threshold of where the bridge resumes. And you just sort of slip down for a second. Like the foot just doesn't quite catch. But you have enough in that to to wobble yourself back into the right portion of a momentum.
Speaker: Is Baal okay? Baal's made it. Okay. But almost fell. Oh, Jesus Christ. you all is hard time though in that time bar where you've had to sort of reverse that momentum, you've stopped. You feel like you're running downhill in this moment.
Speaker: You can turn back. You can you you know that Nyx and Tharok are about to make this jump. anything you want to do? Alpha, Emron and Seth, the momentum, because you cleanly made this jump, you are still going.
Speaker: In all fairness, if he sees ball trying if see Ball slip and hang back, Alfa will hang back just a little bit as well. It would it would take you some time to reverse that momentum and get back. So would take you at least a turn, at least six seconds to do that.
Speaker: But I understand that's your intention is to try and put the brakes on, turn back and help him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And if if if it's a turn for that, then fine. If Baal sees you kind of slowing down, like I've i've got in my head outtakes of Tom Cruise, Mission Impossible, the roof jump where he like breaks his own foot.
Speaker: That's kind of what I'm picturing. But he will kind of drag himself out. If he sees you slowing down, he'll just shout... No, go, carry on, I'm fine. ah And he will kind of turn back and hesitate before picking up momentum again.
Speaker: Not waiting there, because I know that that would be blocking literally the landing zone for the two at the back. But there's a hesitation before running on, ah looking back towards Nyx. He looks at his wildfire spirit, kind of Wyvern as well, that is flying beside Nyx.
Speaker: And he's just going kind of hesitate a moment before almost kind of turning back and and starting to gather speed but his attention is both behind and in front of him um for this.
Speaker: And that wildfire spirit is still just flapping above Nyx keeping at pace. As you begin your run, Nyx, Darok, you see this gap in the bridge. Do you take blind leap?
Speaker: Or do you do anything else to try and bridge the gap? Do you want to go first? Yeah, Farrakh will sprint ahead and he will, be with strength of 18, he'll leap across then he'll just turn and hold a hand out towards Nyx and say, jump!
Speaker: Can you make a dexterity saving throw disadvantage to see if you can stop and turn? Yeah, and I have... ah um it's What's the word for it? Hold on. Sorry, new class. Danger sense. Danger sense, which gives me advantage on deck save. So does that cancel out? That'll be it, cancelled out. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. okay Nix is running. He'll pat himself on the chest to give himself guidance and just scream jump like ah seven.
Speaker: It's not not aiming for him. I'm aiming for the sidebar next to him because it's too abreast, right? Yeah. Okay. I'm aiming for the gap. Yeah. but Do I have to roll? Uh, so we'll get to you in a second. So, oh sorry, thereock sorry. You, you haven't quite got the momentum to to land that jump from going to full sprint and staying your ground. You, you will fall prone and you'll need to scramble back up again.
Speaker: Okay. So you're still where you need to be, but you haven't quite got it within you to be complete help right now to Nick's Nick's. You're about to make your leap.
Speaker: What do I need to help? Uh, straight athletics check for me.
Speaker: Unless you have any other magical means of... ah ah Oh, it's a fucking crit! Oh,
Speaker: With a... With a minus one. With a minus one, I'm not even going to... That's one off a crit. I'm not going to roll my i ah guidance. I am going to land on Thanox.
Speaker: Nice. And then just go, thanks! Thanks for the help! And then carry on. You're... You don't know whether or not you've just... um Accidentally inhaled a bit of Keltrad that just slipped out of your pocket. But for a moment there, you felt like Captain America and you leapt.
Speaker: You absolutely leapt and you clear over Tharok and you jump a total of 15 feet rather than 10. Damn. Blue tieflings can jump. Tharok.
Speaker: Fucking hell. Tharok, you will lose speed in standing up from prone. And this boulder is right behind you. But the wildfire spirit is in the vicinity. So, Barak, it's your call. don't know if you're sure if you perceive this or or not, but i imagine you're looking back for concern for Nyx anyway.
Speaker: Yeah, I've got a 22 passive perception as well. then um Then you perceive that Rock is prone and that boulder is close to hitting him and he's trying to scramble himself up. Nyx is safe.
Speaker: ah He kind of looks and he goes, a fuck it. And he kind of mutters under his breath and the wildfire spirit's mouth opens up to scoop um to scoop up that half-orc.
Speaker: He needs to be willing, but you see this wyverns more just kind of suddenly get huge to engulf you. If you've been watching the duel... You would have been aware of what it does, though, because I've definitely used it within the duel.
Speaker: Yeah, and Farrakh's aware. It's take his chances with the fire or the rock, and the fire looks a bit better.
Speaker: Then he has fireily teleported just ahead of Nyx, but he'll still be prone, though. Yeah.
Speaker: i Trip over him. Nyx is having to step over him again. You're not very good at this. Get him leapfrog. So what happens when the boulder then hits that, I guess it's more like a pothole really for the boulder, is it sort of propels it and it becomes airborne.
Speaker: And you watch as it's now above you at the race pace you're running. You're still running downhill, it's above, so you guys are moving at a certain speed. You only have 100 feet left to go.
Speaker: And as long as no one's choosing to do anything different,
Speaker: We're back at the Vanguard.
Speaker: Seth, Emron, you are, well, now joined with Alpha as this is sort of split a little bit. You're sprinting down and what you're seeing is in this big rocky central chamber in this huge bowl that you can't see the base of, there is this sort of archway, this um slim archway that moves into this structure.
Speaker: At this pace, it's your only perceivable direction, but the archway is tiny. it would The boulder wouldn't come through, if that makes sense. It's a five foot, so you'd have to single file through, and the boulder would collide with it and not be able to continue.
Speaker: youre heading straight for that.
Speaker: Yeah, and Seth would try and run in front of Emron to first to win.
Speaker: Who's naturally got the best um speed? You're both moving at 30 plus 30 if you're dashing, right? yep Yeah, but but you know Seth has one less eye, so he weighs less. so can Can you two do an athletics check each, please, and we'll see who the winner of this race is?
Speaker: There's fucking big dick competition here. 21 from Seth. Nine from me. fucking You got plus seven triathletics. Yeah, buddy. Seth, ah just over the course of that last 60 feet, is just able to put half a feet between you two.
Speaker: And Seth, you're straight through this chamber, followed by Emron, followed by Alpha, followed by Baal, followed by the boulder. And I just need Nyx and Tharok.
Speaker: Oh,
Speaker: There's a small window. You can do this by magical means or you can do this by a skill. But there is a small window, or you can do this by wildfire spirit. There is a small window to slide through here.
Speaker: It's essentially like you there is a three foot by five foot box that you guys have to get through before this boulder is going to slam in front of you. That makes sense?
Speaker: You can see it. It's about 20 feet away from you. Do you have magical means to be faster? Do you have magical means to be smaller? Or do you want to try this on your own physical ability?
Speaker: but Who's in front? Your neck and neck. Okay. Do you want to go first? There is Wildfire Spirit. like You know that's there.
Speaker: But Farrok? Farrok will turn to Nix and go, are you good, Tufling? as he's ah Because he' he's he's running at 30 feet, but he has the means to go to 10 feet and an additional 10 feet if he needs to. do You guys have seconds to make this call.
Speaker: You're at full sprint and this thing is falling down quickly. You've got seconds to make this call. Someone do something. Oh, fine. Sorry. I was giving Darren if credence to go first. Wildfire spirit me, please. Ting. Ting.
Speaker: Bal. Bal. Get me out of here. So Bal turning around and like, I'm seeing this happen. I'm seeing it kind of cut it close.
Speaker: He's got the wildfire spirit there. um But what he's also going to do is seeing this boulder kind of coming careening down, he's just going to quickly snort a bit of flame into his hand and kind of squash it between the two, one hand on top of the other. I want to cast reduce on the boulder to try to half it in size at the same time as bonus action wildfire spirit teleport.
Speaker: at least Nick's, threw into the room. So I'm trying to negate both kind of sides of this, if that makes sense. The boulder needs to be within 30 feet because if it's not, I can't i can't do it.
Speaker: You have enough time to to wait, and but it would literally be within that opportune moment. This would so cinematic and Bondian that ah it would be a case of Wildfire Spirit in, and then just before that impact, that seismic impact, you're able to and reduce it with enough of a window on a six-second cast for you to to pull that in.
Speaker: There's no roles there because it's an inanimate object.
Speaker: You just both need to be willing, which you have been so far, so I don't imagine anyone is contesting the wildfire spirit yet again. And you both appear. I'll explain this this for you now. You two are both enveloped in flame, and you're all watching on from within this tunnel as Baal is doing everything he can to wait for this the moment that he can pull this off.
Speaker: You two are engulfed in flame and you just appear right in front of Baal. And at the same time, Baal, you just look around Nyx's hip, lol, and you just let this cast go. And this boulder, which looked like it would tower into this building, just gets to about the same size as the opening to this chamber itself. and it's Keep running! Keep fucking running! It's slightly bigger. And you watch as Nyx goes back, back, back, back. And you will back up.
Speaker: And it's almost like a plug. oh Just comes in. Barl's got experience. It's cool. but That was unnecessarily stressful. The boulder is stopped. It's halted.
Speaker: But it has traveled about 20 feet into this tunnel. And it is is jammed. It is absolutely jammed. Now, is this a concentration spell, Barl? Yeah, it is for a minute.
Speaker: Okay. so So you have a minute to either let it now grow again. and whilst being in a vicinity or do you carry further into this building, this structure?
Speaker: I'll let everyone know. I can only hold this for about a minute. Nyx could tell you. And he's going to come. Onwards again then. Wait, are we all on the inside? You're all inside in this tunnel. Ah, right. I thought they were stuck outside. Right, cool. Yeah. fuck he's pulled He's pulled him in the last second Wildfire Spirit and then basically made a butt plug.
Speaker: So you guys can't get back out. Not for the first time. Okay. Well, let's go deeper. Yeah, but what about the exit? Uh,
Speaker: If Farrock's at the back of this, he's going to turn and just instinctively try and give this rock a shove backwards with a strength check just to try and push it out of the the tunnel if it's going to to expand.
Speaker: You know weight, you know mass. this This thing is immovable now. It is lodged. Yep, Farrock will give it And then he'll just turn around and and and and keep moving.
Speaker: Okay, cool. We're moving. So
Speaker: you move through this tunnel, which funnels a bit wider again to to be too abreast. And Seth, imagining you're still at the Vanguard, that sound now of conflict is incredibly loud. What you're hearing is screams.
Speaker: Kind of screams. Men in pain. Multiple? Yes. and then my son of and Sorry. Then there's sounds of fear and angst.
Speaker: And then as you're continuing to move down this chamber, Seth, it just goes silent. And you hear crunching.
Speaker: And as you emerge, coming into this wider chamber, you see four, three dozen plate mail corpses,
Speaker: all ripped into various states of dismemberment. That's why it's hard to get an idea of number. chamber itself so The chamber itself is maybe about 80 feet in diameter.
Speaker: It's a perfect circle with an sort of inner scattering of these columns that go up to this sort of huge um a silo-like structure with lots of different windows, but they they're really, really high up.
Speaker: You can't see.
Speaker: the sky directly above you. It's almost like there is a lid to this or the rocks just sort of make a solid ceiling, but there are bigger windows and openings higher up in this chamber. It ascends for maybe 100 to 150 feet.
Speaker: It's hard to tell. And there are just corpses everywhere. And there is a weird staticness alpha. As you're moving into this chamber too, you feel energized,
Speaker: Like you feel caffeinated, like not not to a particularly um ah hand charge enhancing effect, but your storm sorcery feels feels good here.
Speaker: Fucking wireless recharge, man. Fucked up, that is.
Speaker: And then every light in the chamber, every one of these torches that's in these chambers and attached to a pillar... Just move horizontal for a second and there is this almighty warm wind.
Speaker: Fucking hell.
Speaker: And there is this lightning strike that shoots down at all of you. and need you to make dexterity saving throws, please. Shit.
Speaker: Are these no longer a disadvantage? No, you're no longer descending at a ridiculous pace. Okie dokie.
Speaker: who who Oh, shit, shit, shit, shit. shit Better line up them coffins, boys.
Speaker: i mean, you all do great. So because of not, I assume I get my advantage because we're no longer at disadvantage. much Read Danger Sense for me, please. Yes. Do need to be under certain um understanding or situations? You gain an uncanny sense of when things aren't they should be, giving the edge when you dodge perils. You have advantage on dexterity saving throws unless you have the incapacitated condition.
Speaker: Great. that You'd have advantage on this roll. nice
Speaker: Okay. Bal, what's your roll? Actually, Bal, I'm going to come to you last. Emron, your roll? ah Seven.
Speaker: He's writing things. He's writing things. but thank you 20. Thank you. Alpha, what's your all? ah Just for confirmation, I did it with disadvantage because I'm not proficient with my armor and I got a 19. Thank you very much. Show off. Farok.
Speaker: 21. Thank you. Seth. That's basically saying even when I'm soft, I'm hard. good Story of Callum's life. I got a 19 and natural 20. What did Seth get? Seth got 9.
Speaker: A natural 9, I should say. Thank you. And Baal, what did you get? I got an 11 and my Wildfire Spirit got a 6. Okay.
Speaker: So, Emron, Seth, Wildfire Spirit and Baal, you take 16 points of lightning damage. The rest of you take 8. Oh my, fuck that. We just got Death Star lasered.
Speaker: And as you recoil under the the um impact of that and that shock. Oh, God. This lightning bolt has a big shadowy figure at its source.
Speaker: No. And you just see, thudding to the ground in front of you, this huge blue-scaled dragon. Yep. Motherfucker. Fuck. Fuck.
Speaker: And that's where we're going week's episode of The hell. Let's kill a dragon. Little dungeons and dragons taking place. Let's kill a dragon.
Speaker: The whole gang is here. Oh, shit. Seth's going to die. Seth, I'm going to die. Are you down? na No, no,
Speaker: ah Close. No, no, no. But we thank you for being down with us this week boom and making us a part of your life by listening to this episode.
