Speaker: ah A number of books in a plush private library somewhere in the north of Sleetgaard. And he stops on one book, pokes it with his long, gnarled fingernail, and then looks at the camera and smiles.
Speaker: Ooh, dragons! They get themselves into a ceremonial chamber. There's jazz, there's torture, there's kind of shit like this, and there's some sort of kinky, tied-up half-orc who's blonde and bearded with a great axe, and they are incredibly talkative.
Speaker: This is Tharok Sanjari, Maybe some sort of winged watch member, or so he says. He also says that he fought with Nix and Seth in the arena. You're going to have to go back and listen to that, boys and girls.
Speaker: The group decide to trust him for now. And here in some fight, Seth leads the group onwards. Outwards, the sun is setting. There's a huge ravine with a single stone bridge about 500 foot long. And they make their way down it.
Speaker: But there's some sort of Indiana Jones boulder shit. whoever that person is, and it's squeaky-bum-jumpy time, and it's like something out of a Michael Bay film, whoever that is, and Baal does some sort of butt-plug maneuver, and the rock becomes an enema in the tunnel at the end with the group all getting through. They end up in a chamber with about three dozen plate-mail-encrusted corpses in the room, and Alpha feels a little bit energized in his storm-sorcerer form. There's a horizontal wind. There's a lightning strike.
Speaker: And it's a fucking blue scale dragon.
Speaker: You find yourself inside this chamber facing off against the following as I reveal the session to you on a virtual tabletop. ah

Speaker: and least four dozen other bodies in this room. And it is hungry for more. After it sort of recovers from its lightning breath, it just closes its mouth. And as you see, there are just parts, arms, legs, scalps, all sorts in the teeth of this dragon.
Speaker: And it is getting ready to charge at you again. But it is Alpha. You, top of the round. What would you like to do? Fucking run? You're in a complete circular room. Your exit has been plugged by... Fuck, the butt plug!

Speaker: Seth is going to... and sheath his other... He's had a sword out the entire time. He's going to reach on his left hand to his right hip and pull out the other scimitar and he's just going to crick his neck one way, crick his neck the other and just...
Speaker: run towards the dragon and he is looking for gullet. He's looking for leg. He's looking for a way of bringing this thing lower towards the ground.
Speaker: um And the whole time Nithravar is propped on his shoulder, his shoulder, it's not moving up and down with him. It's just kind of balancing and smooth throughout, but he's just whispering in his ear. That's all anyone would see.
Speaker: This is a constant whispering, this whisper whisper whisper, excuse me, in his ear. And he's just going to hit it with and his sword as many fucking times as I can to um to kill the bastard, really, if if I can do that. ah The first one is a 19 to hit.

Speaker: ah How high is this volume of space? So there is a plate above you that's about 100 feet in the air that these pillars are supporting all around the room.
Speaker: But that the the rocky um structure itself is maybe another 150 above but you
Speaker: And there's ah there's a metal plate. There's a stone plate. So it's like a stone chamber. And each of these pillars, these these circular dots on your map, are one of the pillars holding up that plate.
Speaker: Okay. ah Nyx is going to, after he studied the room, because he's what he would have seen is the dragon, you aptly described, ah reach back on its hindquarters as if it was getting ready to take flight.
Speaker: So Nix is looking around the room going, oh how how tall is this to to fly? out it like How big's the room? And then he notices the this stone that's being held by pillars. And he's just going to look quickly between all these pillars.
Speaker: And then he's going cast... Did I take it? did i take it I think I got rid of Shatter. oh my God.
Speaker: Classic. That is classic. Maybe I lost it when i um and moved over to 2024. But it's fine. You can breathe underwater. Yeah.
Speaker: So much better.
Speaker: This works. Okay. So he's going to look at the pillar to his left. Yep.
Speaker: And he's going to grab old girl's orb. And for a moment, that orb is just going to kind of emanate purple ah cloud inside of it.
Speaker: And then he's going to jut it out towards the pillar as he does Sorcerer's Burst. And he's going to cast Sorcerer's Energy at the pillar, make a ranged attack,
Speaker: um and hopefully do 1d8 of lightning damage on that motherfucker. So let's go.
Speaker: The roll is... Oh, it's 2d8. Suck yeah. Fuck yeah. Lightning or thunder? Lightning. Let's go thunder. Suck yeah. Suck yeah yeah. That's such a Nick saying. 16. To hit the pillars. Yeah.

Speaker: Awesome. What happens to that pillar?
Speaker: As you strike at that pillar, so I'm expecting you to hit the dragon, you just sort of turn about face and you launch this attack at the pillar. It just shatters in half.
Speaker: And one of the six pillars holding this plate up breaks. Guys, we need to hit the pillars. We can bring down the roof on his head. And Nyx is going to just back away as he says that, as he looks at the roof. um He's going to head to the right where Baal is to to his direct right. He's only got 10 feet of movement um and he's just going to edge behind Baal. Okay.
Speaker: That's the end of my go. Baal Valcon is a blue dragon of your adopted family. Looking shell-shocked a little bit.
Speaker: ah Do I recognize said dragon? Like, I know Blue Scale, I get that. Have I already encountered this dragon before? I know that obviously they don't necessarily hang around the same brood and they are their own individuals. They go up at Dwight.
Speaker: Do I know of, have I got kind of tellings of markings of said dragon through the adopted brood that he's been with for like the last kind of year and a half, two years or so?
Speaker: Do I have any recognition of this particular dragon? Not a personal one. Cool. But this is definitely...

Speaker: So I'm going to ignore what Baal has just said. um And I'm going to follow Nix. Apparently, Nix had a much more convincing argument with destroy the pillars and we can crush the dragon. um So...
Speaker: that that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to, uh, alpha is going to put his hands together. It's going to try and accumulate a little bit of energy. Um, just ah the center of its core. And it's just going to kind of unleash it towards this pillar that he'd started making his way towards, but it's still about 15 feet away from, him and casts, uh, chromatic orb, uh, against it. Okay.
Speaker: Okay, so that's 12. I think I have a thing.

Speaker: Well, I i've i've just rolled and the target jumps 30 feet if I got two that are the same and I got two sevens out of the damage. So it can jump 30 feet to the other pillar that's on the south side of the map.
Speaker: and You choose to do this or it's an automatic effect? If you roll the same number on two or more of the D8, the orb leaps to a different target of your choice within 30 feet of the target. It will leap to a target of your choice.
Speaker: So you get to choose where it goes, but you you can't choose for it not to leap.

Speaker: Oh shit. I have to move. And everyone in that Northern hemisphere, which is Tharok, but Tharok is within the centrifugal tipping point. So it's just going to affect Alpha.
Speaker: Alpha, I need you to make dexterity saving throws as these... Shit.
Speaker: Oblong-shaped objects begin hurtling towards you. You're going to be as thin as a modem. God. oh hey I roll with disadvantage, and the disadvantage was a natural one. yeah wow one So you're going to sustain...
Speaker: 14 points of bludgeoning damage. Ow. And you're going to watch as one dozen, two dozen, freshly laid dragon eggs fall to their peril and split around you.
Speaker: You've killed maybe 20 dragon hatchlings. Next.
Speaker: Oh, shit. Seth, your turn.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Fuck me. Oh, Paul's going to kill Is the plate still falling? Is it in motion? The plate is like tipping, but because the weight on that side the plate is now rolling off, it's not tipping to a point where it's going to be the tipping point, if that makes sense. It's just sort of... I can't kill anymore, guys.
Speaker: And there is after roll, so over the next few people's turns, three or four more eggs are going to roll off that platform. I'll be about to kill you, Alpha. Are you getting the same sort of orphanage vibes, Callum?
Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And he's going to aim to start running over um to him. And in his head ear, he's just going to hear Nithravar. And he's just going to be saying... look at you teeth bard steel raised your end is most likely how exciting will you beg will you bargain or will he make it interesting And i do i was the last one it's been lung since i've heard people scream properly and all of a sudden he's going to get this weird vibrating sense on his book And Nithravar is no longer going to be on his shoulder. He's going to be on the book and he's going to be coiling through the pages, flicking through the pages and his hand, the book's shut.
Speaker: Yet his hand thin becomes thin, paper thin and folds itself into the book. And as Nithravar touches the book, he's going to slam his other claw into ah Seth's chest and... Rest in peace, Seth. Nithravar is going to cast Misty Step on Seth to the back of the dragon, as in on the neck. bo So he's on top of it. um He was going for Emron. Nithravar's other means.
Speaker: And then Seth's going suddenly kind of warped himself against his his will on top. But it's not against his will, but it's rules, etc. So he's on top of the the dragon and now left with no choice.
Speaker: That's the bonus action. It will be Seth's bonus action. and He's then just going to kind of half balance up there and I will roll what you need me to. But the aim is then he'll just fuck this. He's going dropped one of the swords out of fucking unexpectedness and that will clang to the floor somewhere of his freehand of his uh offhand and then he's just going to take two swings with scimitar of wounding at this uh this this creature i'm happy to make dex dex rolls if you need me for the balance etc right now it hasn't left the ground it's just sort of on its heels so go for it okay so we're rolling twice the first one is a natural one with an eight the second one is a 23 to hit that will hit
Speaker: Okay, the second one that's going to hit, 3, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14 points of slashing damage. It's one of the hits aiming for, he's aiming for just flesh through the scales at this point, almost kind of powered on by what Nith is saying in his ear, but also kind of really not happy of his loss of control.

And just as he does, he forgets the blade isn't there. And then he realized that the shadow blade is there and his hand and this sword just presses into that weak point he's made with the martial hits.
Speaker: and this shadow blade just shunts in and almost like extends within the dragon as it continues to form within it. And then instantly he kind of like shakes his hand and dismisses the blade instantly again um as as the psychic damage kind of ah no kind of courses up through the back side of the dragon, the the rear of the dragon.
Speaker: um and And yeah, it would just it would just sink to the ground in a groan, assume, maybe. And as you pull that blade out, you know that that was the strike that failed it. And it just screams for a second and then falls flat. And there is a thud and all of these bodies on the floor just sort of ripple.
Speaker: It feels like staying in initiative might be appropriate at the moment. So but we'll keep that up. But the dragon is down. ah Seth, anything you want to saw can do with your turn? Yes, I still have no recollection of what's happened to Emron. So his first thing would be to run round. ah So he'll turn to his left and then run kind of and ah clockwise round the dragon corpse now and try and locate where Emron is. um But it's all difficult terrain, so I won't get far enough.

Speaker: Yeah, I imagine because of the split-second difference and because he's not seen this dragon get struck from behind, Farrakh is still swinging at this thing, and he'll just cleave into its neck as it comes down, not aware that it's already dead. He's raging. He's he's's he's absolutely furious. He's not aware that a killing blow has been struck.
Speaker: So Farrakh will use both his turns to just swing his axe at the court corpse of this creature. He'll hit it as it's coming down, and then the second one, he'll just, as it's down, just into the neck to make sure it's dead. Can you make a... um Perception check while you're doing this.

Speaker: And then claw, a blue claw, the size of the entire
Speaker: The diameter of this outcrop just grasps around what's left of this structure about 15 feet above your head. So much has just been shaven off like layers.
Speaker: And this claw just rips and you see this eye, this side of a dragon's face that is the size of a football pitch. This blue scaled dragon. And I'm holding two of its eggs. Just staring in.
Speaker: Seth, the roof has just been ripped off. And there is this giant talon.
Speaker: The dragons have talons? Feet, claws. I think it's claws. um've I've got a stat block. It's fucking claws.
Speaker: Sort of and hooked onto this structure just above Nyx.
Speaker: You've just been told to stop. Your hand is burning hot. What are you doing? He knows exactly what's just happened and and it came from Baal. and And it's going to happen simultaneously again. But within the six seconds, he's going to like open palm like, what the fuck you doing to Baal? And slap a couple of times one of his open wrists and in in direction towards Baal.
Speaker: with the tattoos that he took from Baal and the and the and the ah the curse that he has um is carrying for him. At the same time, Nithra Vaz can be saying out loud towards where Baal is, the world doesn't care for restraint.
