Introduction & 'Spill the C' Game
00:00:13
Speaker
We're going to play a little game we call Spill the C. Hi, hello, surprise.
00:00:23
Speaker
It's thrills, chills, and spills.
00:00:24
Speaker
We're back with a short episode.
00:00:26
Speaker
We said we would be back next after we come back from Europe, but here we are again.
00:00:30
Speaker
We have a couple of things to talk about, so we're going to do it.
00:00:38
Speaker
So for spills today, I think, Rafa, you should go first.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket Replacement
00:00:43
Speaker
So to keep it with the spooky theme, it looks like little rumors are coming out when it comes to the Hollywood Rip Ride rocket replacement over in studios.
00:00:56
Speaker
And Ghostbusters seems to be the big rumor right now, which I'm all for it.
00:01:02
Speaker
We don't have a spooky themed coaster around here.
00:01:05
Speaker
So I think that will besides werewolf.
00:01:08
Speaker
But I think that would be a really cool.
00:01:10
Speaker
Addition to the park, I think the park desperately needs something like that.
00:01:15
Speaker
I feel like Studios has lost a lot of its nostalgia besides E.T.
00:01:20
Speaker
's the only thing they have there.
00:01:22
Speaker
Everything else seems to be pretty new, and it seems like they don't know what to do with the park, but I think that something like that would be...
00:01:30
Speaker
it would bring some life to the park to like the nostalgia of the, you know, of its history.
00:01:35
Speaker
They've been releasing like not releasing, but they've been like posting tweets and like Instagram posts about the legacy of like Ghostbusters and the 35th anniversary of studios.
00:01:48
Speaker
So I think it would make a lot of sense for that to be the case.
00:01:54
Speaker
I like that theme.
00:01:56
Speaker
I really liked it.
00:01:57
Speaker
And I think it fits in perfectly in that area.
00:02:02
Speaker
I really hope that's the case.
00:02:04
Speaker
I feel like it's got to be something indoor, right?
New Carowinds Log Flume
00:02:09
Speaker
I feel like they could do it partially.
00:02:12
Speaker
If anything, like a half, like half indoor, half outdoor, I would prefer an indoor.
00:02:16
Speaker
That way it's not affected, you know, by the rain.
00:02:18
Speaker
But I feel like they're going to want to keep that like skyline.
00:02:21
Speaker
I feel like it's going to look so weird not seeing rocket anymore.
00:02:24
Speaker
So they might want to have something.
00:02:28
Speaker
I think it's still going to be a pretty significantly sized coaster, so it can't be all indoor.
00:02:33
Speaker
I feel like that's just hard with the theme.
00:02:35
Speaker
I feel like spooky stuff just it's harder to do outdoors.
00:02:40
Speaker
Especially in daylight.
00:02:44
Speaker
They would have to play a lot with the sound stages and what they have.
00:02:47
Speaker
They're probably going to have to do a lot of theming around there between the stages, which would be, I'm sure, a mission, but I'm sure we'll get something that's a little bit of both, both indoor and outdoor.
00:02:58
Speaker
It definitely needs to be high thrill, though, because you're getting rid of their biggest thrill in that park, which is kind of
00:03:08
Speaker
I mean, you could argue it is.
00:03:09
Speaker
We argue it's not that great, but I feel like it needs to be.
00:03:14
Speaker
I mean, we know it's Intamin, or we speculate it's Intamin based on the permits that were filed.
00:03:19
Speaker
That could be anything.
00:03:19
Speaker
Yeah, that's true.
00:03:22
Speaker
Rafa, you said part indoor-outdoor.
00:03:24
Speaker
The first thing that came to mind is Karnan.
00:03:27
Speaker
Something like that.
00:03:27
Speaker
Karnan, yeah, okay.
00:03:30
Speaker
I could totally see that.
00:03:33
Speaker
But just not get Grislauer.
00:03:35
Speaker
It would be so cool to see that.
00:03:39
Speaker
There's a couple of coasters out there that, you know, like have pre-shows at the beginning that kind of add to it and they could do something like that maybe.
00:03:48
Speaker
Yeah, I can see it.
00:03:48
Speaker
And everybody's saying that they're going to miss Rocket so much.
00:03:52
Speaker
I can't believe you guys.
00:03:53
Speaker
Like, I don't know.
00:03:55
Speaker
It's everyone's crying about it.
00:03:57
Speaker
And I'm like, why are we crying about it?
Disney's Lightning Lane Changes
00:04:02
Speaker
I haven't written it in years.
00:04:06
Speaker
I've been riding it when I can just because it's leaving.
00:04:09
Speaker
So I'm like, why not?
00:04:10
Speaker
Let me give it a couple of rides.
00:04:12
Speaker
But I don't care for it being gone, especially now knowing that it might be Ghostbusters.
00:04:17
Speaker
And they can close it tomorrow if they wanted to.
00:04:20
Speaker
Yeah, especially since the only refurb it got just made it way worse.
00:04:24
Speaker
Like, first of all, it's obviously rougher.
00:04:27
Speaker
And then they took away so many songs from it.
00:04:30
Speaker
It's like, yeah, it's
00:04:32
Speaker
A shell of what it used to be and it was never even great in the first place.
00:04:37
Speaker
And then you hear about these like secret songs that they have if you put like those codes or whatever.
00:04:41
Speaker
And I'm like, you're telling us that this has more potential and we can't make use of that.
00:04:47
Speaker
You know, like it has to be way more complicated, but I don't know.
00:04:50
Speaker
I'm ready for it to go.
00:04:56
Speaker
Do you guys have any spills?
00:04:58
Speaker
I'll throw one out there.
00:05:00
Speaker
Maybe it should be Tyler's, but we just got a new drop of a like schematic for Carowind's new project for 2026, which is a fancy log flume.
00:05:14
Speaker
It looks like it's a Whitewater West super flume that has a turntable backwards portion.
00:05:22
Speaker
And then it flips again to go forwards and then a pretty big drop.
00:05:25
Speaker
It looks like looks pretty tall.
00:05:32
Speaker
And there's two drops.
00:05:33
Speaker
So there's like, actually the, um, the backwards drop looks like it has a double down.
00:05:38
Speaker
So that's kind of cool.
00:05:38
Speaker
Cause we don't really have a lot of, um, double down, double down log flumes in the U S and the ones that I've done in Europe have been kind of fun.
00:05:45
Speaker
Like actually had a little bit of airtime.
00:05:47
Speaker
So yeah, I feel like there's a lot of double down drops in Europe on log flumes.
00:05:51
Speaker
So many and backwards going like backwards.
00:05:54
Speaker
With the turntable.
00:05:57
Speaker
We go, we find some more soon.
Joey's Roller Coaster Journey
00:06:02
Speaker
And the other thing I liked that I saw in the schematics was it appeared to me at least that, um, well, first of all, so at the top of the big drop, it's a turntable.
00:06:12
Speaker
So like you go up a lift and into a turntable and then you spin to face the drop.
00:06:17
Speaker
Um, and it looked like that part and the, um,
00:06:21
Speaker
Other like backwards switch track part, it looks like both of those were actually covered.
00:06:27
Speaker
So there's like buildings built over those sections instead of the entire thing just being like exposed.
00:06:32
Speaker
There's something that looks just kind of like incomplete to me about a water ride that's just sort of plopped there without any like embellishments to it.
00:06:40
Speaker
So it looks like they're actually planning to have some, I don't know if I would call that theming, but like, you know, some kind of more completeness to it than just being an exposed trough the whole way.
00:06:50
Speaker
Do we know where in the park it's going?
00:06:53
Speaker
So it's on the former Rapids plot between Fury and like that theater.
00:06:59
Speaker
And it's actually going to create a new pathway to Fury, which is kind of nice.
00:07:03
Speaker
So like sort of where the vortex entrance is in that area, you'll be able to cut through instead of going around that semicircle path.
00:07:10
Speaker
There's going to be a new cut through.
00:07:11
Speaker
The entrance will be along that path.
00:07:14
Speaker
That's a neat spot.
00:07:17
Speaker
I mean, the park kind of needs it because it gets hot there and they got rid of the rapids and they don't they don't have any other water rides, right?
00:07:26
Speaker
Yeah, I don't think so.
00:07:26
Speaker
I was like thinking about that right now.
00:07:27
Speaker
I was like, wait, do they have another water ride?
00:07:29
Speaker
Well, and they just added the splash bottle is new for this year in the kids section.
00:07:34
Speaker
So they'll actually have two, which is probably good for them.
00:07:38
Speaker
And they do have the water park connected like some of the other Cedar Fair parks, but you need something else for the dry park.
00:07:44
Speaker
So I think this will be a great addition.
00:07:47
Speaker
I didn't even see that.
00:07:50
Speaker
I don't really have too much of a spill other than for you people who are like not Disney adults.
00:07:59
Speaker
Just be aware that if you're going to Disney and planning on purchasing Lightning Lane, it has changed the process.
00:08:05
Speaker
It used to be that you purchased your Lightning Lanes at 7 a.m.
00:08:08
Speaker
the morning of, but now it's
00:08:10
Speaker
You if you are staying on Disney property purchase a week before and if you're not you purchase three days before and you get to choose three attractions from the first park that you're visiting.
00:08:22
Speaker
And some of them have to be from different tiers.
00:08:24
Speaker
It's a whole thing.
00:08:25
Speaker
If you are planning a Disney vacation, you should make sure that you do some Googling or just ask somebody who knows what's going on because it is crazy when it drops.
00:08:37
Speaker
And also, if you're trying to plan your use of lightning lanes, highly recommend...
00:08:42
Speaker
Thrill data, they track which ones go first, which ones are still available for when you're about to book what the return times are like, there's a great lightning lane availability page that helped me secure all my lightning lanes and become very, very poor yesterday.
00:09:01
Speaker
Unfortunately, if you want to make the most out of your Disney vacation and you don't get to go there often, you kind of have to do it this way, which is really unfortunate.
00:09:10
Speaker
I am a planner, as all of you guys know.
00:09:14
Speaker
I'm a planner and even this is stressful for me, but I enjoy winning the Disney game.
00:09:21
Speaker
So if anybody has any concerns about
00:09:24
Speaker
their upcoming Disney travel and need help.
00:09:27
Speaker
I would be happy to help because it is wild what you have to do these days.
00:09:34
Speaker
What since the hotel guests get priority seven days earlier?
00:09:40
Speaker
Earlier than like a general public person.
00:09:43
Speaker
Is there still availability of the key attractions by that three day drop or is it all gone?
00:09:50
Speaker
It's there's some so the marquee attractions at each park will likely have reduced availability and the return times will likely be far out into the evening hours for those rides.
00:10:03
Speaker
So like, for example,
00:10:05
Speaker
Our first day of the trip, we're going to Magic Kingdom and like the quickest lightning lane under the multi-use lightning lane.
00:10:14
Speaker
So not Tron, not Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
00:10:16
Speaker
Those are their own lightning lanes that you have to purchase a single lightning lane pass for if you want to do those.
00:10:20
Speaker
But under the multi ones where you choose three,
00:10:23
Speaker
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is like the first one to go.
00:10:27
Speaker
So when I checked the day before I was booking, we're only staying at Magic Kingdom for the morning that day, but the return times were already pushed all the way back till 4 p.m.
00:10:37
Speaker
So, and that was for a week in advance.
00:10:39
Speaker
So Thrill Data tracks this.
00:10:40
Speaker
You can like look and see what the return times are and kind of like alter your plans and move stuff around.
00:10:46
Speaker
And if you don't have like a predetermined, like we have kind of a predetermined schedule of parks based on our dining reservations we made months ago.
00:10:53
Speaker
But if you're just like going for a couple of days and you can like, something's really important to you and you see that the availability is dwindling, you can kind of switch your days around and just like...
00:11:03
Speaker
utilize the data that thrill data has super helpful but most attractions even on the three days out are have availability like throughout the day i think the ones that are quickest to go are tiana's at magic kingdom um and slinky dog dash at hollywood studios seem to be the toughest ones to get i had no problem getting single use ones for guardians like i have three of them now for different days
00:11:32
Speaker
No standby for me.
00:11:34
Speaker
Are those on the same schedule?
00:11:38
Speaker
Like for purchasing them?
00:11:39
Speaker
It's on the same like seven, three days?
00:11:40
Speaker
Yeah, you just instead of selecting a multi-use pass for that day, you select a single use for that day.
00:11:47
Speaker
It's like just a different thing that you purchase.
00:11:49
Speaker
But I mean, think about purchasing, for example, like Magic Kingdom is $29 per person.
00:11:56
Speaker
When you have a family of four and you do that for every day of your week long vacation and then you also buy single use lightning lanes because you don't want your four year old to stand in a 80 minute Guardians of the Galaxy line, it becomes very expensive.
00:12:11
Speaker
So much so that your bank might think that fraud is happening and text you to confirm that you want to make purchases.
00:12:20
Speaker
So the process is wild.
00:12:22
Speaker
If you are a seasoned Disney person, you'll know what I'm talking about.
00:12:25
Speaker
If you're not, you're probably like, what the heck are people going through to experience Disney world?
00:12:30
Speaker
I agree, but it has to be this way.
00:12:32
Speaker
So I would love to help you if you are confused.
00:12:37
Speaker
That's not really a spell.
00:12:39
Speaker
It's just my drama.
00:12:39
Speaker
That's why I space out my Disney visits.
00:12:42
Speaker
Cause it's, it's a lot.
00:12:45
Speaker
And I don't even bother keeping up with it as it changes.
00:12:49
Speaker
It's just, if I'm planning my like biannual trips, then I'll look it up, but I just, I can't keep up with it as it happens.
00:12:59
Speaker
And you know that I am.
00:13:05
Speaker
Anyways, okay, well, since we're recording, before we leave for our trips, we are able to finish out our little segment on getting to know us better.
00:13:14
Speaker
So we will be asking Joey some questions today, the same questions, in fact.
Quickfire with Joey
00:13:20
Speaker
And then maybe we'll come up with a new segment to start after we get back from our trips.
00:13:27
Speaker
So to start, we would love to know when and why you became a theme park and roller coaster enthusiast.
00:13:35
Speaker
So I grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia, which is obviously very close to Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
00:13:42
Speaker
And my mom, I wouldn't say that she was a Thusey, but she was a theme park enjoyer.
00:13:48
Speaker
And actually, both my parents were when I was a kid.
00:13:51
Speaker
So I think the first time I went there, I was like a baby.
00:13:55
Speaker
And, you know, I probably like rode the train or whatever, because that's all you can do with a baby.
00:13:59
Speaker
But my parents had been bringing me there pretty much my whole life.
00:14:05
Speaker
And as I got a little bit older, I kind of was entranced by elements of the park and just how it operated and wanted to know how things worked.
00:14:17
Speaker
And I would go see the shows and like see the set design and see technical elements of them and be fascinated and then also be watching the rides and be so curious what the control panel looked like and how it all worked.
00:14:33
Speaker
That being said, I and I can't remember exactly because I think, you know, we my mom brought us to Disney as a kid and I'm sure I rode Barnstormer like I have video of that.
00:14:45
Speaker
That may have been my first roller coaster.
00:14:51
Speaker
I mean, the height requirement is like tiny, isn't it?
00:14:53
Speaker
To ride that thing.
00:14:54
Speaker
35 inches, I think.
00:14:57
Speaker
So I think that was my first roller coaster and that didn't really like scare me or anything.
00:15:03
Speaker
At some point I rode something and it wasn't very big.
00:15:06
Speaker
It was something small.
00:15:07
Speaker
I want to say, and this is so weird.
00:15:10
Speaker
I want to say it was Shamu Express at SeaWorld Orlando.
00:15:14
Speaker
And I did not like it.
00:15:16
Speaker
I didn't like the stomach drop feeling as a kid, like when you go down a drop.
00:15:21
Speaker
And so I basically swore them off for a long time.
00:15:26
Speaker
And I worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for six years and I didn't ride roller coasters the entire time.
00:15:32
Speaker
And I was the lead supervisor for Apollo's Chariot.
00:15:37
Speaker
So that was interesting.
00:15:38
Speaker
So I was still a nerd about theme parks, but I was not riding roller coasters all of that time.
00:15:46
Speaker
And then eventually I had moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and somebody that I knew was talking about Silver Dollar City.
00:15:55
Speaker
And I had never heard of it before.
00:15:58
Speaker
But, you know, I was like, well, I remember my theme park days like that sounds fun.
00:16:03
Speaker
And so I ended up going and rode, I want to say it might have been Wildfire.
00:16:10
Speaker
was my first like big roller coaster really like in my life.
00:16:18
Speaker
And I was like, okay.
00:16:19
Speaker
And then I think the second one we rode was outlaw run, which is like kind of crazy to be one of your first big roller coasters.
00:16:27
Speaker
But at the end of it, and I was like trying like basically being convinced to get on these because I was still kind of scared.
00:16:33
Speaker
And then I wrote outlaw run at the end.
00:16:34
Speaker
I was like, wow, that was so crazy.
00:16:38
Speaker
And then I kind of got addicted to it there.
00:16:41
Speaker
But I didn't really like get deep into it again until COVID because I YouTube spiraled into the roller coaster YouTube world and kind of reignited that again in terms of really kind of researching parks and what roller coasters are at them.
00:17:02
Speaker
I probably watched like every Airtime Thrills video just
00:17:05
Speaker
which is I don't watch them at all anymore, to be honest.
00:17:08
Speaker
But like as a new person or like if you're getting back into roller coasters, it's watching all those listicle videos is great because you're like, oh, here's all the roller coasters that I, you know, haven't seen before at all these different parks.
00:17:22
Speaker
And then I went out on some road trips in 2020 during that crazy year and was masking it up in 100 degrees in Texas at different theme parks and just kept going from there.
00:17:36
Speaker
Jack the intern as they call him walking into Six Flags Great America and then connected with him about TDR and Buzz Bars and next thing I know I was in an event at Silver Dollar City with Buzz Bars and the rest is history crazy
Fallout House at Halloween Horror Nights
00:17:52
Speaker
I had no idea that you had like such a large period of your life where you like didn't ride coasters I didn't know that about you at all so long yeah so long that's wild that's crazy yeah
00:18:03
Speaker
I didn't know it was so late either.
00:18:05
Speaker
I mean, you were already in like college at that point, right?
00:18:11
Speaker
I was probably 23 ish, 23, 24 for the like, probably that was the first inverting coaster I ever rode, I think.
00:18:24
Speaker
Obviously, I had done some of the Disney ones, like I had done Space Mountain and some of that stuff.
00:18:29
Speaker
But I would like, I don't think I had ridden like Hulk.
00:18:33
Speaker
I'd been to Universal before and I wouldn't ride that.
00:18:36
Speaker
So it changed my life for sure.
00:18:40
Speaker
Let's on that note, let's get into the lightning round.
00:18:43
Speaker
Having ridden more coasters than the rest of us.
00:18:46
Speaker
What's your correct count?
00:18:49
Speaker
I should have actually.
00:18:50
Speaker
double check this number uh so it's in the 700s uh 786 what is your favorite coaster the voyage okay favorite theme park fontagelant easy did you say that too tyler i did yeah and rafa's about to go four for four yeah i was just about to say four for four
00:19:18
Speaker
But don't worry about the expectations too much.
00:19:20
Speaker
Everything's fine.
00:19:21
Speaker
Everything's chill.
00:19:24
Speaker
What is your next park visit?
00:19:27
Speaker
Emerald Park in Ireland.
00:19:31
Speaker
You're not going anywhere this weekend?
00:19:32
Speaker
What are you talking about?
00:19:34
Speaker
This weekend is for packing.
00:19:40
Speaker
I was thinking about this one.
00:19:41
Speaker
Honestly, I think I'm going to go wood.
00:19:45
Speaker
Just because it's classic and the ones that are out there, I feel like are of higher average quality than the average quality of a steel coaster.
00:19:57
Speaker
Would you prefer to always skip spooky season or only ride coasters built?
00:20:03
Speaker
I can't I can't understand this how it's written every single time.
00:20:06
Speaker
Do you only want to ride coasters built before 2000 and enjoy spooky season?
00:20:13
Speaker
Or do you want to ride all the coasters and skip spooky season forever?
00:20:17
Speaker
This is a hard question.
00:20:18
Speaker
I was the one that wrote it.
00:20:20
Speaker
What was I thinking?
00:20:23
Speaker
I think I'm going to have to like disagree.
00:20:26
Speaker
Well, I don't remember what everybody else said.
00:20:28
Speaker
I know Kelly said she can't skip spooky season.
00:20:32
Speaker
I think I would have too much FOMO watching like new roller coasters being built.
00:20:36
Speaker
And I wouldn't like not being able to ride them would probably drive me more crazy than like missing out on Halloween.
00:20:42
Speaker
So I probably would say skip spooky season.
00:20:48
Speaker
What is your number one hobby outside of coasters?
00:20:52
Speaker
It's always been theater, which is also Busch Gardens Williamsburg fault.
00:20:55
Speaker
That's kind of funny.
00:20:58
Speaker
What is your go to drink?
00:21:07
Speaker
What's your favorite pizza topping?
00:21:09
Speaker
I'm basic pepperoni classic.
00:21:13
Speaker
What is your bucket list travel destination?
00:21:16
Speaker
Some of them have happened already.
00:21:18
Speaker
Um, this is kind of hard, but I guess it's, it's probably Japan right now.
00:21:24
Speaker
Either Japan or New Zealand.
00:21:28
Speaker
Um, your go-to karaoke song.
00:21:32
Speaker
If you know, you know.
00:21:36
Speaker
To close it out, what is your roller coaster hot take?
00:21:41
Speaker
So this is kind of like a copy paste, unfortunately, but I think there was a discussion recently in the in the discord about floorless roller coasters and like one being better than the other.
00:21:57
Speaker
And honestly, I feel like I have the Tyler approach because all B&M floorless is or mid.
00:22:06
Speaker
I kind of agree with you on that.
00:22:07
Speaker
It's kind of warm.
00:22:09
Speaker
It's not that hot.
00:22:10
Speaker
It's a little warm, but.
00:22:13
Speaker
I feel like I ride them once when I visit a park with one and probably not necessarily again unless other people want to.
00:22:23
Speaker
Like they're there.
00:22:23
Speaker
I've never felt the need to like redo them.
00:22:26
Speaker
Whenever I like, I don't know.
00:22:28
Speaker
They haven't really gave me like a lasting effect.
00:22:30
Speaker
But I will be riding Superman at Park Madrid on this trip.
00:22:35
Speaker
Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible.
00:22:38
Speaker
But that's like one of the highest rated ones.
00:22:41
Speaker
I don't know what happened.
00:22:42
Speaker
Maybe it was just a bad ride, but yuck.
00:22:45
Speaker
The only other one that I can think of, which is sort of a hot take on this podcast, is my like Stardust Racers take, which is that it's a little lower than other people.
00:22:54
Speaker
I don't hear anything.
00:22:57
Speaker
I need to ride it more, though, to be fair.
00:23:03
Speaker
Do you want to drop your socials?
00:23:06
Speaker
I'm at Aero Coasters, but that's A-E-R-O, Aero, because I'm an aerospace engineer.
00:23:14
Speaker
On, I guess, Instagram and Twitter.
00:23:21
Speaker
If you guys listening have any ideas about a new segment we can maybe slide in to future episodes or something you want to know more about,
00:23:31
Speaker
or have us talk about, let us know.
00:23:34
Speaker
I'm going to propose something on air.
00:23:35
Speaker
What if, what if we had guests come in and do that segment?
00:23:44
Speaker
I was thinking that that definitely would be a good, good idea.
00:23:48
Speaker
That is a good one.
00:23:51
Speaker
I also, this is very basic and maybe people are bored of this type of thing, but I love a bracket.
00:23:57
Speaker
We can definitely do one of those.
00:24:03
Speaker
Moving on to our main
Fallout Series Summary
00:24:06
Speaker
discussion point today.
00:24:07
Speaker
When we were recording last time, like six days ago, we talked about how we were feeling that the rumors of a house drop on the 5th of June was going to happen.
00:24:19
Speaker
And of course it did.
00:24:20
Speaker
And we talked about it being what it is.
00:24:24
Speaker
That was like all of our guests, I think.
00:24:27
Speaker
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I said it exactly.
00:24:29
Speaker
I was like, I think the next one is Fallout.
00:24:33
Speaker
So we have our first Orlando HHN house confirmation.
00:24:39
Speaker
And that is Fallout.
00:24:42
Speaker
I'm going to read the description that they posted on the Horror Nights website.
00:24:47
Speaker
I'm stalling because it's trying to load on my phone.
00:24:51
Speaker
It says... Drumroll...
00:24:57
Speaker
It's time to face the fallout.
00:24:59
Speaker
Face your fears in post-apocalyptic LA devastated by nuclear war based on the hit show and game franchise Fallout.
00:25:06
Speaker
You'll travel into the vaults and be attacked by raiders alongside Lucy.
00:25:10
Speaker
You'll escape to the wasteland and confront the bounty hunter, the ghoul.
00:25:13
Speaker
You'll even encounter Maximus with the Brotherhood of Steel and CT60 power armor.
00:25:19
Speaker
That's what we know.
00:25:21
Speaker
They're probably going to announce something else before we leave for our trip, and we are not going to be able to discuss it.
00:25:26
Speaker
There are talks about Friday the 13th being this Friday, and, you know, Friday the 13th.
00:25:33
Speaker
Seems kind of like it.
00:25:35
Speaker
But interesting, before we talk about Fallout, I think that this house announcement came just like their house announcements for every other year with a very clear house announcement and then the announcement, unlike how the little Five Nights at Freddy's semi-announcement came to be that we talked about in our last episode.
00:25:56
Speaker
So I wonder if that was just kind of, we'll get that eventually, or if it truly is something different than a house.
00:26:03
Speaker
Yeah, probably we'll get more info.
00:26:08
Speaker
It's funny because everybody's still calling this.
00:26:10
Speaker
They're calling that the first house announcement.
00:26:12
Speaker
But we technically haven't gotten an official announcement for this being a house.
00:26:17
Speaker
And if you go on HHN's website, you'll see there's a haunted houses area now.
00:26:23
Speaker
And that's the only one that's there currently.
00:26:26
Speaker
And also on their blog where they list everything that they've announced so far.
00:26:30
Speaker
There's nothing about Five Nights at Freddy's.
00:26:33
Speaker
They didn't even mention it there, which I thought was really interesting.
00:26:36
Speaker
I think they have a big or not a big, but just like a teaser video or something they've been making and it wasn't ready and they're just waiting to drop that.
00:26:45
Speaker
Speaking of teasers, we should talk about that because the static electricity teaser video was very much tied to the video that came out for Fallout on social media.
00:26:56
Speaker
Yeah, super interesting.
00:26:58
Speaker
So the teaser, if you haven't seen it, I think it was linked in our Discord.
00:27:03
Speaker
One of us probably put it there, right?
00:27:05
Speaker
It shows like a little TV set that looks like it's straight out of Fallout, like a commercial by Vault Tech.
00:27:13
Speaker
And it shows static and then it kind of, there's some like little interludes in the static.
00:27:19
Speaker
I forget what the static was even happening because as soon as somebody pointed out that right next to the TV set was a freaking glass of flowers, I was done.
00:27:30
Speaker
I was like, let me pause and zoom in on these freaking flowers and what do you know?
00:27:38
Speaker
And the house, the house codename where it was, this house was located on the most recent spec map was Daisy.
00:27:46
Speaker
So that seems like pretty strong confirmation that that's the true location, I think.
00:27:51
Speaker
Which location was it again?
00:27:55
Speaker
Oh, it's a soundstage.
00:27:57
Speaker
I thought it was a tent, right?
00:27:58
Speaker
It was a tent, one of the new tents.
00:28:01
Speaker
One of the new tents.
00:28:04
Speaker
I would love to see this in a soundstage though.
00:28:06
Speaker
It would be sick, but I think like the shape of those tents, like I, I, I see it being, cause like, remember how long, um, uh, the monsters eternal bloodlines house felt.
00:28:18
Speaker
And there were like some big sets in there.
00:28:21
Speaker
Like some tall sets.
00:28:22
Speaker
I feel like, I feel like this, and it almost looks like I'd imagine, like, I feel like they'll be able to pull off the vault feel.
00:28:31
Speaker
Cause it'll feel a lot more like closed in.
00:28:36
Speaker
It'll be interesting.
00:28:38
Speaker
I guess we could talk about fallout.
00:28:40
Speaker
Some of us have recently watched it.
00:28:42
Speaker
I binged it over the weekend, the TV show.
00:28:45
Speaker
I just finished the last episode like two hours ago.
00:28:48
Speaker
And I watched it when it came out.
00:28:51
Speaker
And that was last April, I believe.
00:28:54
Speaker
Like it was about a year ago.
00:28:55
Speaker
That sounds right.
00:28:59
Speaker
Yeah, I figured for those of you that don't know what Fallout is, I mean, certainly you can read this yourself, but it...
00:29:10
Speaker
And I'm reading this from Wikipedia because I need to.
00:29:14
Speaker
I couldn't describe it any better myself for sure.
00:29:17
Speaker
But it depicts the aftermath of the Great War of 2077, an apocalyptic nuclear exchange between the U.S. and China.
00:29:24
Speaker
And it takes place in an alternate history of Earth where advances in nuclear technology after World War II led to the emergence of a retrofuturistic society and a subsequent resource war.
00:29:34
Speaker
So then some of the survivors of this war with China took refuge in these vaults, which are kind of like underground bunkers in a way.
00:29:46
Speaker
But the people that go down there are unaware that the vaults that were designed by a company called Vault-Tec were
00:29:54
Speaker
were to perform experiments on them.
00:29:56
Speaker
So there's like physical experiments and psychological experiments and social experiments happening in all these different vaults.
00:30:01
Speaker
And the people that live there are just like completely unaware that this is happening to them.
00:30:05
Speaker
Sorry, I guess I should have said spoiler alert.
00:30:09
Speaker
Sorry if you made it this far and you don't want to know.
Speculating the Fallout House
00:30:13
Speaker
Um, but then the show is like 200 years after that happens and it follows the main character, Lucy.
00:30:21
Speaker
She leaves the vault, um, to, to find her father who was captured by like, um, raiders that live outside of the vault.
00:30:29
Speaker
They call it the wasteland.
00:30:30
Speaker
What's left of like normal or what was normal civilization.
00:30:35
Speaker
And there's like different characters she meets along the way that are kind of all on their own mission.
00:30:41
Speaker
I guess that's probably enough of a history of what the show is about.
00:30:45
Speaker
And it's the description for the house actually seems to inform exactly what we're going to see, which I think is kind of what I would hope from, from it, where you follow sort of the, the storyline of the show in that you start in the vault and kind of make your way out of it.
00:31:06
Speaker
My impression of the series is that the visuals are pretty memorable.
00:31:10
Speaker
The vault itself has that 50s.
00:31:15
Speaker
Kind of like it's like they call that retro.
00:31:17
Speaker
It has a retro vibe, which is kind of cool.
00:31:20
Speaker
And I feel like music is super retro, too.
00:31:25
Speaker
I hope they bring that to the.
00:31:27
Speaker
to it you know i hope that that's in the queue please yes that would be nice play it in the queue they won't it would be sick if they did yes yeah i agree with you i think i think you know we talk sometimes about them doing from movies or shows doing like a best of approach like they did for insidious like let's take all of the scary stuff that happens in the further and make that a house
00:31:53
Speaker
I usually like that idea, like making, you know, what we're taking from an IP, like Universal's own story, but I don't see that working well for Fallout.
00:32:02
Speaker
I feel like it does need to kind of follow the plot of the show to make a good house.
00:32:07
Speaker
And even though the show itself isn't very horror, not horror at all, actually, I think it's more sci-fi than anything.
00:32:15
Speaker
I feel like the settings and the characters are enough to make it spooky in a haunted house.
00:32:22
Speaker
So yeah, I can see it.
00:32:24
Speaker
And I think that following the story makes sense.
00:32:28
Speaker
Yeah, I feel like if you had a bunch of random characters jumping out, it just wouldn't make much sense.
00:32:34
Speaker
I mean, the closest thing you have to horror, which it kind of is, is like the ghoul because he's a zombie sort of in some ways.
00:32:41
Speaker
I don't really get how I don't.
00:32:43
Speaker
There are some things that I need to like read about because I'm like, did this go pass over my head?
00:32:49
Speaker
Like, I don't really get how ghouls become ghouls.
00:32:54
Speaker
Yeah, I had to get on the Wikipedia page when I was watching it.
00:32:58
Speaker
Yeah, because I think the video game explains some of that a little bit better.
00:33:02
Speaker
And because I expect that some people know it already.
00:33:06
Speaker
So I had to I had to do some while I was watching it.
00:33:09
Speaker
There are definitely some fight scenes, battle scenes in the show where I'm like, this looks like it's literally straight out of a video game.
00:33:17
Speaker
It looks like it was shot in the format of how a video game appears.
00:33:20
Speaker
I'm like, this is wild.
00:33:21
Speaker
I think that was really well done.
00:33:23
Speaker
Yeah, I think the rating...
00:33:25
Speaker
Yeah, I think the rating in the beginning in the wedding is going to be perfect in a haunted house.
00:33:30
Speaker
I feel like it's going to be like a very chaotic like room and there's gonna be so many actors in there if they do it, which I'm sure they will.
00:33:38
Speaker
But yeah, the moment I saw that scene, I'm like, okay, this would be great in a house.
00:33:43
Speaker
Do you think that they're gonna I was like, I wonder if they'll start the house too with like the bomb.
00:33:49
Speaker
Like, how would they even pull that off?
00:33:51
Speaker
It would be sick if they could.
00:33:52
Speaker
Like, in the distance, you know?
00:33:54
Speaker
But I don't know how visually that would work.
00:33:56
Speaker
Yeah, I was kind of... Because the tents usually have an outdoor facade that you walk into.
00:34:01
Speaker
And I was curious what that would be.
00:34:04
Speaker
Like, because you exit the vault and kind of see that portal, like, in the course of the series.
00:34:11
Speaker
So I'm wondering if they're just going to use that and you sort of go into it, or... Yeah, I was like, maybe it's just going to start with entering the vault and you'll see, like, 33...
00:34:19
Speaker
And that'll be the outside.
00:34:21
Speaker
Or they might have like a projector outside showing like clips of like the remember in the in the beginning at the birthday party, they were showing like the news and the reports and all of that.
00:34:36
Speaker
Those clips before you enter the house and then you go into the aftermath of that.
00:34:42
Speaker
You know what I think makes the setup outside a little tricky is the queue for how those two tents are because they're literally right next to each other.
00:34:49
Speaker
You can't like make one like super thematic because then it's like right next to the other one.
00:34:55
Speaker
I think that's kind of limiting, but that would be cool.
00:34:58
Speaker
The setup that you just described.
00:35:00
Speaker
Maybe they'll have us enter through another part of the tent to avoid that.
00:35:06
Speaker
Yeah, that like crossover there.
00:35:09
Speaker
What's currently listed in that other 10?
00:35:11
Speaker
Oh, it was the book with the snowflakes.
00:35:16
Speaker
In the current spec map.
00:35:17
Speaker
Yeah, so those are completely different.
00:35:19
Speaker
Yeah, not even close.
00:35:20
Speaker
Yeah, I wouldn't get hopes up about a themed queue.
00:35:23
Speaker
Best we can do is previews of the Megan movie.
00:35:31
Speaker
Tyler, did you watch a show or you haven't watched a show?
00:35:33
Speaker
I have not seen it yet, no.
00:35:36
Speaker
I'm definitely going to before we go, though, for sure.
00:35:39
Speaker
Season two is apparently coming out in December, I looked.
00:35:45
Speaker
It did kind of feel like an abrupt ending to me.
00:35:47
Speaker
I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:35:49
Speaker
It was very cliffhanger-y.
00:35:52
Speaker
I was like, what's happening?
00:35:53
Speaker
I just got into this.
00:35:54
Speaker
I felt like the first like five episodes were kind of like a little slow for me.
00:35:58
Speaker
But then it was like, it was really good at the end.
00:36:02
Speaker
Now I'm like pretty hype for this as a house to see how they like pull it off.
00:36:06
Speaker
Because we'll understand it.
00:36:07
Speaker
So yeah, it's gonna be fun.
00:36:09
Speaker
Yeah, I don't know if it's gonna be scary, but I'm excited for to follow the story through.
00:36:17
Speaker
Kind of like Ghostbusters style.
00:36:19
Speaker
I don't think it was meant to be very scary.
00:36:22
Speaker
It had some good scares for sure.
00:36:23
Speaker
I mean, the ghoul looks scary.
00:36:26
Speaker
Like if he pops out from somewhere or if somebody pops out holding a head, I wonder if they'll incorporate the doggy somehow.
00:36:35
Speaker
I wish they would.
Listener Q&A
00:36:40
Speaker
He's on the merch, I think.
00:36:42
Speaker
They released some cool merch.
00:36:45
Speaker
With the ghoul and dog meat.
00:36:46
Speaker
That reminds me really cool merch that like stained glass, like picture frame thing that has five spaces for probably the five IPs.
00:36:56
Speaker
And you can like buy little inserts to put in the different sections.
00:37:00
Speaker
Catch me getting one of those when I'm down there next week.
00:37:04
Speaker
I really want one.
00:37:06
Speaker
That is really cool.
00:37:08
Speaker
Maybe you'll be able to buy two panes.
00:37:14
Speaker
Maybe we'll have so much to talk about on top of our giant trip episodes.
00:37:22
Speaker
But I think that kind of covers, covers fallout.
00:37:25
Speaker
There's some questions about it, which we'll get into next.
00:37:29
Speaker
Now, if you guys are good.
00:37:31
Speaker
Good for questions.
00:37:34
Speaker
Hunter asked us what fallout scene would you like in the house from the show or games?
00:37:40
Speaker
Have any of us seen the games?
00:37:42
Speaker
I didn't think so.
00:37:44
Speaker
People who like video games couldn't be us.
00:37:47
Speaker
So I think for me,
00:37:54
Speaker
I just, I really like the initial like vault sequence, like with the wedding when that whole fight scene happens.
00:38:02
Speaker
I guess if you're listening to this, like, sorry, this is going to be spoilery.
00:38:05
Speaker
I don't, I don't know what to say, but Tyler is going to be like, I heard about this whole entire show.
00:38:15
Speaker
Not epic universe all over again.
00:38:21
Speaker
I think it'll be interesting, and it's not a specific scene, too, but how they depict the turn of, like, the good people actually being the bad people and the people you thought were bad being good.
00:38:34
Speaker
Like, that's, like, the biggest takeaway that throughout the series, I feel like, is kind of the flip.
00:38:39
Speaker
You're like, wait a second.
00:38:41
Speaker
I don't know how they would achieve that in a house or if there's a specific scene, really.
00:38:45
Speaker
Yeah, that might be tough.
00:38:50
Speaker
They might not want to spoil the ending at all, actually.
00:38:53
Speaker
Considering that it's kind of a cliffhanger of an ending.
00:38:58
Speaker
So it might just be... It might lead up to that close to the end.
00:39:07
Speaker
Definitely the wedding scene, though.
00:39:09
Speaker
I think that'll be fun.
00:39:10
Speaker
Especially you have that one character that gets the fork in the eye.
00:39:13
Speaker
So I can see that character being in there.
00:39:18
Speaker
Yeah, there's a bunch of...
00:39:20
Speaker
interesting people in that scene.
00:39:22
Speaker
So that'll be fun.
00:39:23
Speaker
I'm also thinking like what stood out from like a horror perspective, the, um, the squire Maximus is squire.
00:39:31
Speaker
Whose foot is like decaying and his toes are dangling by a freaking thread.
00:39:35
Speaker
That's pretty sick.
00:39:38
Speaker
That scene would be sick.
00:39:39
Speaker
I was just like, Oh my God, that's gross.
00:39:43
Speaker
And I don't get grossed out.
00:39:44
Speaker
So I was like, Ooh, um,
00:39:49
Speaker
It'll be interesting to see how they do like Maximus's armor.
00:39:54
Speaker
That's got to be like some of the jump scares is going to be like his arm coming out or something.
00:40:01
Speaker
I'm most excited for the vault too.
00:40:04
Speaker
I think it's going to be cool.
00:40:06
Speaker
There's got to at least be music in that part.
00:40:10
Speaker
I want the beginning to be like chill.
00:40:12
Speaker
Like before it goes wrong.
00:40:14
Speaker
Because that would be.
00:40:19
Speaker
Okay, from Murph, or no, I guess Hunter had a second question.
00:40:23
Speaker
What other video game would you like a house for?
00:40:27
Speaker
Okay, so I am not a huge gamer, but before I was kind of into it, like in high school and stuff, there was a video game.
00:40:36
Speaker
I don't know if you guys have ever heard of it.
00:40:37
Speaker
It's called Bioshock.
00:40:39
Speaker
Um, that it was like a, what was it?
00:40:43
Speaker
So I haven't played it.
00:40:46
Speaker
I have heard of it.
00:40:48
Speaker
So basically like it's about some guy that like, he's the lone survivor of like an aircraft like crash.
00:40:56
Speaker
Um, and then he discovers like an underwater, like,
00:41:00
Speaker
town or city or something and there's like these weird like zombie looking people not zombies necessarily but these weird like mutilated looking people down there I think that would be a very very cool um house but yeah I haven't played it in ages maybe they'll know what I'm talking about Bioshock would be an incredible house but I don't think is it's anywhere near as popular as some of the video game IPs that we're getting now to ever become a house but I think it'd be cool
00:41:29
Speaker
For all of you who are asking all these questions about games, let me give you a quick little history of me and video games.
00:41:38
Speaker
When I was about eight years old, I got a PlayStation 1 for Christmas.
00:41:43
Speaker
And I played Cool Boarders, which is a snowboarding racing game.
00:41:49
Speaker
And I played Rugrats, which is self-explanatory.
00:41:54
Speaker
And then when I graduated to a PlayStation 2, I played Spyro the Dragon.
00:42:00
Speaker
and Crash Bandicoot and that is I played a little bit of like Tony Hawk because my brother liked it and then I played with my friends in middle school DDR Max because of course I did I had my little pads in the basement and that was the end for me so if you have any questions about any of those games I can answer them and that's about it I don't think any of those would be HHN Hells
00:42:30
Speaker
Yeah, Tom is messaging in the background because apparently he can hear this happening.
00:42:35
Speaker
And he said that we need to mention Halo, which I did.
00:42:39
Speaker
That didn't come to my brain, but I have played Halo.
00:42:41
Speaker
And now that I think about it, yeah, that could make a pretty cool house.
00:42:46
Speaker
It's irrelevant now.
00:42:49
Speaker
Yeah, it would be a very millennial coded thing to do.
00:42:53
Speaker
But that being said, I think millennials spend a lot of money at HHN.
00:42:59
Speaker
true true all right Murph asks will Fallout be more of a greatest hits of season one or be more like the last of us house and follow a more particular scene we kind of touched on what we anticipate for it to be and their press release or their little blurb about it kind of tells us we're going to follow and at least see the different characters so I think I think it'll be it'll be very last of us storytelling yeah I hope so
00:43:29
Speaker
I mean, to an extent, all of the houses are with, you know, IPs or greatest hits style, but I think it's going to follow a chronology, you know, of the series.
00:43:40
Speaker
And I feel like you have three settings that you're, like in the beginning of the show, you're being introduced to these three characters in very different settings.
00:43:48
Speaker
So I feel like it's, I feel like you kind of have to follow the story so that it can all make sense in a house.
00:43:56
Speaker
start in different areas is going to have to lead into, you know, each character and how they all come to be together.
00:44:04
Speaker
Carl asks or doesn't ask tells to play fallout Las Vegas.
00:44:10
Speaker
I don't know about you guys, but I will not be.
00:44:14
Speaker
I'm assuming that has something to do with new Vegas, which is referenced in the series at the end.
00:44:26
Speaker
I don't know who this guy is on Discord.
00:44:29
Speaker
But thanks for your question.
00:44:32
Speaker
Since Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket was featured in Sharknado 3 Oh Hell No.
00:44:37
Speaker
And now it's closing.
00:44:39
Speaker
Which post 2000 Star Wars movie is your least favorite?
00:44:42
Speaker
I have no idea what's happening in this question.
00:44:44
Speaker
Did I have a stroke?
00:44:46
Speaker
Am I having a stroke?
00:44:48
Speaker
I read it and I was like wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:44:52
Speaker
Wait, wait, was it really in a movie?
00:44:56
Speaker
It was in Sharknado?
00:44:57
Speaker
It was in Sharknado, yes.
00:44:59
Speaker
That's kind of iconic.
00:45:01
Speaker
What does this have to do with Star Wars, though?
00:45:07
Speaker
I wonder if this is a riff on TDR because they talk about Star Wars too much.
00:45:10
Speaker
Like literally all the time.
00:45:13
Speaker
I mean, I can answer the question if we're talking about Star Wars.
00:45:18
Speaker
I mean, I don't want to get too far into that, but post 2000.
00:45:30
Speaker
Phantom Menace episode one came out in 1999.
00:45:33
Speaker
So we're talking about episode two, three, seven, eight, nine.
00:45:38
Speaker
If we're talking just, you know, the saga.
00:45:43
Speaker
But then there was also Rogue One and Solo.
00:45:46
Speaker
Well, Solo is the one I didn't see because it got really bad reviews.
00:45:50
Speaker
So that's the worst one.
00:45:52
Speaker
Yeah, I haven't seen Solo, but I think I'll go with that just because I haven't seen it and I've heard bad things.
00:46:00
Speaker
And honestly, like everybody rips on the sequel trilogy of Star Wars 789.
00:46:06
Speaker
Sorry, I like them.
00:46:11
Speaker
I thought the first of that series was the weakest because it was kind of a rehash of a plot we've seen before.
00:46:16
Speaker
It's totally a rehash, but it was just like, it was just fan service.
00:46:19
Speaker
It was fan service and I fell for it.
00:46:26
Speaker
Tyler, what do you think?
00:46:34
Speaker
I think I've already gotten roasted earlier for this in a previous episode, so it's fine.
00:46:39
Speaker
Is there a series, a movie series that you would talk about as passionately as they talk about Star Wars?
00:46:46
Speaker
Oh, no, probably not.
00:46:49
Speaker
Maybe Harry Potter.
00:46:58
Speaker
Emma asked, what are your opinions on the placement of the hatbox ghost in the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom?
00:47:04
Speaker
Do you guys know about this?
00:47:06
Speaker
I know about it and I've seen a video of it, but I do not really know the sequencing.
00:47:12
Speaker
I just know there was some kind of deep Disney lore controversy about its placement due to affecting the storyline or something of that nature.
00:47:22
Speaker
Is it because it's before Madame Leota, which means that the ghosts haven't been summoned or something like that?
00:47:30
Speaker
I just know that it was like removed from the Haunted Mansion for a while because like the effects were poor.
00:47:38
Speaker
Like you kind of like would come around the corner and then like the special effects that like make the ghost look like it's in the hat box like were done poorly.
00:47:48
Speaker
So I know that that was like a reason why it was removed for a while, but it came back to Magic Kingdom.
00:47:54
Speaker
I want to say like 20, definitely after COVID.
00:48:01
Speaker
Because they weren't doing much of anything during those years.
00:48:03
Speaker
And that was in a quote unquote exciting announcement was the return.
00:48:07
Speaker
The hot box ghost is back.
00:48:10
Speaker
So is it like a controversy where it is or?
00:48:14
Speaker
No, I don't know what the, like it's right by the like long hallway that you can look down.
00:48:22
Speaker
You know how you like look down the hall.
00:48:23
Speaker
It's like right by there.
00:48:27
Speaker
I don't really have an opinion.
00:48:28
Speaker
I love Haunted Mansion.
00:48:30
Speaker
I know about some of the lore.
00:48:33
Speaker
I'm happy it is back because there's lore about it.
00:48:37
Speaker
I guess it's fun that it's there is my opinion.
00:48:41
Speaker
Yeah, I don't have an opinion.
00:48:42
Speaker
If you were looking.
00:48:44
Speaker
I'm just happy to see old attractions like that continue to get refurbed and updated and making them still modern and relevant.
00:48:55
Speaker
Yeah, if you were looking for a specific response, Emma, and you want to discuss it, discuss it in our episode discussion because I would love to discuss more anything Disney.
00:49:04
Speaker
And then lastly, Ricky asked, how do we feel about being asked about video games?
00:49:08
Speaker
I'm reading Wikipedia.
00:49:10
Speaker
I think that's what it is.
00:49:11
Speaker
So when they reintroduced it, it says blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:49:18
Speaker
So some fans argued that the ghost character is not supposed to be seen until Madame Leota's introduction.
00:49:24
Speaker
So apparently it has something to do with the sequencing of the storyline.
00:49:27
Speaker
Because it's before it's before her.
00:49:29
Speaker
Yeah, that makes sense.
00:49:33
Speaker
I don't think that much when I'm at Disney.
00:49:38
Speaker
Just sounds like another non-issue that Disney enthusiasts made into a big deal.
00:49:44
Speaker
Disney enthusiasts.
00:49:50
Speaker
I'm about to be one.
00:49:51
Speaker
Loading, loading, loading.
00:49:52
Speaker
You already are one.
Episode Conclusion & Future Plans
00:49:54
Speaker
You already bought your lightning blade.
00:49:57
Speaker
Guys, if anyone's interested, I will be posting my family's outfits that are coordinated to specific things.
00:50:06
Speaker
Every time we go to Disney, I pick themes and we have outfits and everyone reluctantly follows my plan.
00:50:13
Speaker
I have two outfits per day this time around, so stay tuned for that.
00:50:20
Speaker
None of you guys really care.
00:50:23
Speaker
Ricky, I don't want to be asked anything else about video games because I just told you what video games I have played ever in life.
00:50:30
Speaker
You guys love Crash Bandicoot.
00:50:35
Speaker
I played that recently.
00:50:36
Speaker
Honestly, we have a PlayStation five that we got like one PlayStation fives were hard to find and Tom plays it like pretty regularly.
00:50:43
Speaker
But I went on there and saw what games were available.
00:50:46
Speaker
Crash Bandicoot was there and I played it a little bit.
00:50:52
Speaker
That was a solid game.
00:50:54
Speaker
It makes me feel like I'm missing some cultural knowledge.
00:50:57
Speaker
When people mention video games that are really popular and I'm like, what?
00:51:01
Speaker
Like when I first heard about Five Nights at Freddy, I had no idea what that was.
00:51:06
Speaker
And I found out it was a video game.
00:51:07
Speaker
I was like, okay, well, that's why I don't know what it is, but.
00:51:10
Speaker
That's the newer generation though, right?
00:51:12
Speaker
That's like the younger generation that got into that though.
00:51:17
Speaker
The people who are still in that community would know that for sure.
00:51:21
Speaker
I also feel like it's one of those things where if you get back into it, you kind of have to go deep because it's like a pretty time consuming thing.
00:51:29
Speaker
It seems like, especially with a lot of the story driven video games that are out there, which seem really cool, but that's like hours and hours to get through one of those.
00:51:41
Speaker
Well, that kind of does it for our short little episode.
00:51:44
Speaker
Do you guys think we're getting a house announcement this week?
00:51:50
Speaker
Do you think it's Friday the 13th on Friday the 13th?
00:51:56
Speaker
Unless they don't want to break formula and they do a Thursday again, but.
00:52:01
Speaker
I feel like you can't pass this up.
00:52:03
Speaker
This would be a huge mess.
00:52:07
Speaker
I guess we'll see.
00:52:09
Speaker
We'll talk about it eventually, weeks from now.
00:52:14
Speaker
Yeah, there will not be another episode recorded until after we come back from our Europe trip.
00:52:21
Speaker
Stay tuned for that.
00:52:23
Speaker
Multiple episodes, probably, and HHN updates.
00:52:27
Speaker
Do you guys have anything else?
00:52:34
Speaker
I forced everyone to record because I wanted to talk about fallout.
00:52:38
Speaker
And here we are almost an hour later.
00:52:42
Speaker
Shorter than normal.
00:52:45
Speaker
All right, everyone.
00:52:47
Speaker
See you on the other side of the month.
