Ominous Whispers and Introductions

00:00:00
Speaker
it was definitely like whispering was it was it was it was it was it was that language what else they spoke we're in danger if we stay here we need to get into cover
00:00:37
Speaker

Journey Up Skell Road Mountains

00:01:23
Speaker
to it. So on last week's episode of The Fellowship of the Tabletop, we find our ways working up the Skell Road Mountains. We came across this very thin path that snaked up through the mountains, going up and up and up, getting colder and colder. We came across a big gap
00:01:36
Speaker
where Robin managed to figure out that someone had done some damage and sabotaged the path in some way leading to this massive gap in the path. The party managed to get across with some ingenious use of magic and rope and at the last moment Claude got turned into a massive owl which must be fucking terrifying flew over and basically scouted ahead and found this weird jungle on top of the mountain then also this huge quarry that seemed to dominate the central area of the mountains before flying back and hitting this weird
00:02:04
Speaker
Purple barrier that seemed to form out of nowhere and then disappear only cast and saw this cast and also against this weird tingling sensation on the back of his neck and that's not because robin's whispering sweet nothings in his ear he seems to feel that someone's watching him he's got a massively high perception it's aware that people someone something seems to be watching them
00:02:24
Speaker
He mentioned this to the group, Helena mentioned that she was being followed by two of her lackeys from her father that seems to not trust him or not, sorry, not trust her or trust who she's with. She's not really sure. But she mentioned that to the group and the group managed to continue making their way up. Robin and Drago had a quite in-depth conversation about the eventuality of facing Elphir and what they must and what they can and what they will do to have to defeat him or die trying.
00:02:52
Speaker
At the end of that conversation, Carstan again felt the sensation of being watched, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end, and he then feels his almighty rumble, the whole party felt this rumble, and Carstan thinks he sees a figure off to the left, up the mountain that they're currently traversing,
00:03:09
Speaker
and this huge chunk of the mountain comes crashing down towards them and we'd stop just with the kind of mid-air getting closer to the group and this big chunk is heading directly towards the group.

Boulder Skill Challenge

00:03:21
Speaker
Straight off the bat then to try and avoid the boulder and everything around it. Please could I ask, I've kind of got you in a walking order anyway, I've kept the original order with Robin and Drago and Canard at the front, Helena, Kast and Folly, Claude and Tally,
00:03:35
Speaker
So this large boulder comes barreling down towards you and this is going to be run this is like a skill challenge basically as these these boulders seem to run down the side of the mountain almost like a mini landslide if you will.
00:03:46
Speaker
So Robin at the top of the order what I have is I have six things that are going to happen and I've just randomly arbitrarily assigned them to the six positions of the initiative order so this isn't picking because of you this is a pre-picked order so Robin is top of the round a large boulder comes barreling down towards you this massive barrel this barrel this massive boulder comes crashing towards you at the front and if you stay still it will hit you what do you want to do? Okay so how much room does Robin have either side of him?
00:04:13
Speaker
The path is one person abreast. Okay, so first thing is that Robin is going to shout. Rockfall! Sorry, I was going to say, wouldn't Carson have shouted that at the start? Yeah, we couldn't get it.
00:04:29
Speaker
considering everyone would have noticed it already it's quite loud it kind of cracks the matter what car sorry robin purely on adrenaline has uh even if he's just shouting that after cast and he's blocked the noise out and on adrenaline he's just shouted rock fall
00:04:44
Speaker
and robin will looking down this chart is he's going to immediately take a turn and i would like to use it's not what i want to use because it's shit in my ability but it would be the first thing he'd think to do is to think is there anywhere back the way they came that they would be able to
00:05:08
Speaker
avoid this rock like a hole in the wall or it widens out enough back the way they've came basically a history check okay yeah go on then give me a history check uh are we still blessed or has um did the blessed of us yeah the blessed from last but does polymorph break the concentration nonetheless that would be no i've had to use another spell i don't really know i'll take the d4 then uh that's the 70 uh that's a 19 in total 19
00:05:37
Speaker
You remember back and remember that five or six paces behind you, sorry five or six paces, five or six feet behind you, there was a small alcove that could probably fit three or four normal sized, kind of medium sized people. Okay, Robin will remember that the alcove isn't going to be enough to protect everyone and on this initiative turn, that's all he's got because that's six seconds.

Magic and Escape

00:06:02
Speaker
That's our first pass, thank you very much. Next up, Helena. Three smaller rocks that are kind of the size of your head come flying off this large boulder towards you. What do you do? I'm going to use athletics to try to jump out of the way, jump over them. Yeah, sort of shimmy in and out of them. Okie dokie, roll that please. 21.
00:06:24
Speaker
You definitely managed to, these three come flying out towards you and dodge, dodge and parry the last one out of the way, avoiding the damage that would have been done from that. Nice one, that's under the pass. Claude, the path beneath your feet starts to crack and crumble, falling away into the abyss below. What do you do?
00:06:42
Speaker
This isn't exactly right in tune with your skill challenge, but I wonder if you'll let me do it. Upon seeing this very dangerous thing happening, I would immediately want to try and make protective measures for my allies. So looking across about priorities, I would make sure that Helena receives some sort of
00:07:05
Speaker
or protection because I'm indebted to her family and I would cast Death Ward on her. Okay, that will, I'll happily let you do that but that will negate the comment. That would be my turn in this. Yes, pretty much. As long as it's not detrimental to the roles. Yeah, it's detrimental to you but not detrimental to the roles. No, it's fine. Yeah, that's fine. I would cast Death Ward on Helena. That won't count as a pass or a fail but that just won't
00:07:33
Speaker
It won't count against the skill challenge but obviously it will count against Claude because the ground is crumbling beneath you. Next up, Folly, you're just in front of Claude and you also feel the ground start to crack and crumble, more behind you where Claude currently is. What do you want to do?
00:07:52
Speaker
Just remind me how big these boulders are that are hurtling down. There's one major one that feels like, to give you some kind of idea, I said landslide, it's not quite a landslide, it's more like just one large boulder, it's just barreling down towards the front portion of the group, and from that has caused a few other smaller boulders to come with. A few of them tried to,
00:08:17
Speaker
headed towards Helena, she managed to push them apart, but it's causing some other damage to the path and things like that as it's all happening. How much do you think this large boulder weighs? It weighs exactly, I have no idea, it's probably talking about 30 foot in diameter, granite, hard stones, you're talking 20 tons.
00:08:45
Speaker
Wow, that's very accurate, thank you. That's a fantastic bit of knowledge. Can we go with that 150 to 200 pounds? Why not? Okay, awesome. What I'm going to do as a bonus action, I'm going to convert some of my, well, literally my last remaining sorcery points to give me back a second level spell slot.
00:09:07
Speaker
This large boulder that is coming down i can basically cast levitate on it so i can just lift this massive boulder up i can. It will still have the same momentum coming towards us but i can basically lift it straight up and levitate lasts for about ten minutes so i can just lift it up and carry it to momentum straight over us and then drop it down on the other side when it's out to our.
00:09:31
Speaker
The rest of the group see this boulder smashing down as it gets closer and closer and then on one bounce up as it spins in the air it seems to continue spinning but go higher and higher and higher and higher and pass over you by about 50-60 feet over clear over you down to the abyss below and you hear it hit the ground beneath you.
00:09:53
Speaker
Add the boulders passed over you that's awesome falling anything else you want to do for the other was a bonus action on a bonus action to source reports and then use the spell to. The spell was my action and we can't move so yeah that would be the end of mine. Lovely the ground this is drag up next the ground beneath where clawed and fully are stood is crumbling and falling away like this.
00:10:19
Speaker
Like the side that the path is going to shift and just fall into the the abyss below drago. It's your turn What would you want to do? Did you say the path is it's not just below me? That's crumbling who's around me that this would affect no one around you It's only the path area currently around Claude and folly near the back of the group. The path for everyone else is pretty stable It's fine. It's just that area that seems to be crumbling. They haven't moved from that spot. So it continues to crumble and fall and
00:10:46
Speaker
So not me, it's Claude and... Claude and Folly. Are they? They're quite far from me, aren't they? It was me, Robin and Kenneth. They were only about 20 feet behind you, if that by now. Oh, OK, cool. So they're within a quick run and a push reach of me. Absolutely. So Drago will notice this, look down on the ground, look at the source of the earthquake and peg it towards Castan and Claude. Did you say Castan and Claude?
00:11:14
Speaker
Folly and Claude. Folly and Claude and with strength just push them enough, not like a full shoulder tackle, just enough of a like arms open so that I, oh god, I hugged them almost and moved them away from the danger.
00:11:32
Speaker
Okay, could you give me an athletics check for that, please, Drago? Yes, I can. I know you're good with that. That's a natural one. Okay. You don't manage to move them from their current position. And as you run over to kind of grab them and move them out of the way, you actually knock Tali as well. And Tali, in turn, leans over and accidentally knocks Karstan. And so it's kind of different and hits into one another. And Karstan
00:11:57
Speaker
Tally's knocked into you and it's kind of knocking you off balance and you kind of tee through on the edge of the cliff Could you please give me an acrobatics check please to see if you all right to make keep your footing? Yeah, we're still blessed aren't we? Yes, I assumed the natural One it didn't matter how blessed I was. Yeah
00:12:14
Speaker
I got 30. Yep, no problem. You easily manage to not only keep your footing in place but also keep a handout to stop Tally getting any closer to the edge as well. That does count as a pass for that one.
00:12:28
Speaker
And your actual turn now, as that was more like a reaction, everything, it's your turn. The only danger you really now see is that the ground beneath where you draw, go folly and cast an R is kind of crumbling beneath you. You've probably got another round, pretty much another six or seven seconds to do something. What do you want to do?
00:12:49
Speaker
Nothing really that I can do spell-wise. So it's the ground that's crumbling beneath us. And it's not the whole path. Like I said, it's just this area that you're currently stood in, further up the path where Kennard and Robin is, Helena is, is totally fine. Can I use perception to sort of direct the party onto the solid ground?
00:13:13
Speaker
You wouldn't need that as it's quite obvious. You could use some kind of charisma, some persuasion or some more interesting performance. I will try and persuade everybody to instruct them on the correct parts of the ground to go on to avoid it crumbling. Let's go with that gone then. I know you've got like a plus eight billion to performance.
00:13:35
Speaker
plus 13 that's a 22 yeah no problem so you very very clearly managed to get across your message of moving now from this spot right away and in doing so actually i'm going to let them jump so can who did we have there it was Claude Foley Drago can you please Antaly please can you all make athletics checks please
00:14:06
Speaker
17 for Claude. Thank you Claude. So Claude you managed to hear this yes of course and you dive onto some solid bit of ground you're absolutely fine. Following? Three.
00:14:16
Speaker
Three, you don't even hear this, so you have not moved from that spot. Drago, sorry, let me retract that. Follow you. It wasn't a perception check. I was asking for it was an athletics check. As you hear this, as you turn to jump, the ground beneath you starts to fall away slightly. And as you try and push your legs up, your legs actually fall through the ground slightly. You're still on the surface, but you haven't managed to actually jump anywhere. You're still kind of exactly where you

Heroic Actions and Teamwork

00:14:41
Speaker
are stood still. Drago, what did you get?
00:14:45
Speaker
Ian's crying, so you got an actual one. Today? I don't know. Ian. There's a concerning issue. You can't hear me, can you? There you go, now you can hear me. I got muted halfway there. So, to recap, I got 25, have disadvantage, rolled again, got nine. Nine, okay. You are also kind of... You're blessed, you're blessed. You're blessed, yeah. Oh, trust me, I've used it.
00:15:05
Speaker
Okay. You try a similar thing, but this time your foot gets stuck in the fallen ground as it starts to go down. Tali managed to roll an 18, so she definitely jumps away, but notices that you're both still there, Folly and Drago, still stuck there.
00:15:23
Speaker
So, top of the round then, we'll go up to Robin. Robin, you can see all this taking place behind you. The boulders passed, you're fine. You haven't needed to use the alcove you've found, but you still know it's there. You see Folly and Drago stuck, as the others have jumped away, as the ground seems to be slowly shifting away and falling. What do you want to do? So, Robin sees that they're kind of static. They're not stuck first, though. They just haven't reacted yet. Is that right? Or they've tried to and failed. What is in front of you?
00:15:53
Speaker
more of the path leading up and right to the left. And that still looks stable? Yes, it does. And where you're stood currently is also stable. Robin will shout back to the party, and he's going to turn and use athletics to sprint up the track in the direct towards what he perceives to be safety. Okay, we're all athletics. That's good. 15 on the roll plus six, so that's 21 plus 24.
00:16:22
Speaker
Yeah absolutely fine you managed to turn tail and you make good time up the path getting yourself out of danger and you manage to pass that message on as well. Helena you're in a similar situation you've heard Robin probably scream that in your ear being quite close to him but you're still seeing Folly and Drago stuck with a currently arm. What do you want to do?
00:16:40
Speaker
Um, I'm going to acrobatics. Uh, yeah, check. So I'm going to do that. And, um, I'm going to try and get over to, um, folly to try and help him out. Uh, yep. Okay. Let's go with that. Let's go with that. The grind around folly is rather unstable now. And so using acrobatics to pick your footing carefully to get to him and dexterously try and grab a wipe. Yeah. I like that. Cool. Okay. Give me your, uh, acrobatics then please. 25.
00:17:10
Speaker
awesome you managed to don't don't jump over miss the spots that of the ground that seem to be breaking away and falling down you managed to reach out hand the folly and grab him and hook him back onto solid ground getting folly out of trouble thank you very much uh castan you're kind of face down after athletically jumping out of the way of the falling ground you turn around see drago still kind of stationary there
00:17:29
Speaker
Helen has just dragged Folly out of the fold and Tali's lying next to you. Sorry, Claude. It's your turn, Claude. You've just actually jumped away. Apologies, cast on. I was going to go back and save my friends, but if Helena has already saved Folly, then I'm going from a main man dribble. I'm going to athletically leap back into the fray, grab him by the scaly parts and help him.
00:17:56
Speaker
Help him to cross the dangerous area in the direction where Robin has indicated. That's totally fine for this episode. Grab him by the scaly parts. Yeah, definitely. Amazing. All right, grab him by the scaly parts. Give me a roll for athletics. Okay, it's great. It's probably the best roll I've ever rolled as a Claude. That's a 30.
00:18:14
Speaker
wow you manage to manage to get your way over to drug missing i got a few more for them for them but boulders as they come down off the mountain side and you reach out and just kind of yank him by the by the satchel i think you just kind of pull them by that is probably busy looking at where to stand next to why.
00:18:32
Speaker
this you know he hasn't moved you know he's kinda saying his eyes from his exhaustion you drag him from that yank him quite hard and i think i was expecting it onto solid grinding just as that happens the path the path beneath that section gives way and falls right in the grounds basically stopping you from being able to go back that way as now there is about a fifty foot.
00:18:54
Speaker
50 feet of the path behind you has now disappeared and is gone from view. So you can only really go forward now. But again, a silence comes to the area as the deadened noise of the mist around the mountains, the misty mountains, if you will, to get another fellowship comment in there, starts to settle back down as the silence resumes. The odd stone teeters down,
00:19:18
Speaker
giving to a slightly ominous feel to the space but apart from that silence remains except for just the the panting and breathing of those of the party who who have been been active which has been all of you so we find ourselves facedown pretty much around this broken cavern what do you want to do well clearly someone doesn't want us coming up this mountain yes i'd be surprised if that would

Mysterious Mountain Figure Discussion

00:19:42
Speaker
convenient kind of incident there. I saw someone up on the mountainside. I saw a dark figure and then the rocks came. Did you recognize the person that you saw? It was a dark figure and it was far away and I don't think I've met your dark figure yet. Drago Foley, are you okay? Thanks. I'm fine. Thank you.
00:20:04
Speaker
Thanks Claude, you saved my life. And thank you Helena, very much appreciate it. That's okay, I'll make it my business to save your lives. Yes, my pleasure. Yeah, I appreciate it, thank you. Canard, how far are we from this rest point of yours? As far as I'm aware, I think we're just around the corner from it now.
00:20:23
Speaker
Is it safe from this purple shit? Oh, I don't know anymore. This... something seems to really be trying to stop us getting up this place. And, uh... Yeah, because I'll be honest Kenny, I'll take my chances in the jungle, I think. I mean, I also... I also heard a voice just before the rocks came down. What did it sound like?
00:20:42
Speaker
It sounded really weird and I couldn't quite make out or understand the words but it was definitely like whispering. Was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was that language what Elfly spoke? We're in danger if we stay here. We need to get into cover now. Can we get to the safety first and then we shall discuss, well, that. Yeah, okay. Good idea Robin and Folly. We'll do what you said. Well did you say he was an elf, your friend?
00:21:11
Speaker
He's my friend, but he's not their friend anymore. Well, could he have spoken elvish is all I'm thinking. No, because I think Robin understands elvish. He's got pointy ears too. I think haste is of the essence here.
00:21:25
Speaker
Let's get going then, follow me. And Ken out, Ken out turns and starts to walk, but as he kind of double takes back, he looks directly at you Karstan and just says, remember what I said earlier, don't listen to the mountains and carries on walking up with quite some pace. Now, not really a walk, more of a run, a jog run, um, further up around the mountain.
00:21:45
Speaker
aside as you continue to walk up around that area the path seems to get steeper and steeper and steeper again you can still get up this with some pace but he seems to be moving quite quickly now and many of you don't have a problem keeping pace with that follow you might start to fall behind slightly but nothing to worry about yeah
00:22:02
Speaker
You pull around the corner and finally this alcove that that Kennard has promised starts to come into sight. It is a protected site of like a failed mine entrance where they've dug probably 10, 13, 14 feet into the mountainside and then
00:22:19
Speaker
stop neglected it for some reason you can see into it there's nothing in there but it just seems to be a protected alcove which is kind of protected on three sides the path kind of goes past this and continues up and around and however this seems to be etched into the side and looking around it there's nothing there this is your rock but there's nothing there's no sign of any life or any previous occupants at all and in this small area can i turn to the group
00:22:47
Speaker
This is what I was talking about. I mean, it'll stop us getting hit by anything coming off the mountain, but I don't know about any magic or anything like that. My hut will stop the magic. If someone wants to make a fire, I'll just need a minute and I can cast a spell. I can do that.
00:23:06
Speaker
And yeah, he just flicks his quarterstaff and, well, at the moment he's just going to make a fire on his quarterstaff because he's not got any timber or anything like that at the moment. And Tali's going to look at you, Foley, and she's already got her book out looking a bit incredulous at you. And she says, I don't know if you know that Foley, but making the bonfire is kind of my thing.
00:23:27
Speaker
So, uh... By all means, Tally. Taps the core stuff, turns off the fire. She puts her book down onto the dusty ground, warms her hands up slightly, and then reads out a section of her spell book, and casts... no, casts bonfire, that's what it's called, bonfire, onto the ground near the middle back of the cave area, and starts a nice-sized bonfire, magical bonfire there for the group, that's a decent fire size to keep them warm.
00:23:56
Speaker
and she instantly settles down and starts to warm her hands by the fire. Right then, Karstan, do you want to make your hut thing? Yeah, everyone just needs to get close, folks. Get around the fire. I would also like to contribute something, but maybe I'll wait till we decide. Yeah, we are waiting till we make the hut. There's so much room in the hut. Yeah, there's enough space for about nine of us, I reckon. Ah, that'll do. I don't take up bug space. I do. So, I'm going to cast Leoman's Tiny Hut.
00:24:25
Speaker
A 10-foot radius immobile dome of force springs into existence around and above you and remains stationary for the duration. Nine creatures of medium size or smaller can fit inside the dome with you. Creatures and objects within the dome, when you cast a spell, can move through it freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells and other magical effects can't extend through the dome or be cast through it. The atmosphere inside the space is comfortable, dry, regardless of the weather outside.
00:24:56
Speaker
that sounds really nice and is it just like i'm imagining like a greenhouse but magical greenhouse yeah so can you lay it out how you like can you put some nice furniture in there i can't make any furniture literally like it's like it's like you're putting up a tent um basically i can make i can command the interior to become dimly little dark
00:25:14
Speaker
the dome is opaque from the outside but um from the uh and it i've probably made it the color of the rock face so it's pied a little bit but it's transparent from the inside so we can see out and you probably see a faint outline but if you went out of it you would just see a sort of stone colored thing okay awesome is it not like the um the harry potter tents where it's bigger inside or is that not
00:25:40
Speaker
No, it's a 10-foot radius of mobile dome. It's a strict size. But the point is that nothing can pass through it. So, created objects can pass through it. So, because we're inside it, we can walk freely. But the point is that you could cast this, go to sleep, and because it lasts for eight hours, nothing that was outside can get in unless someone dispels the magic itself. Polly, how much rations do we have, Polly? I would like to interrupt you, Robin.
00:26:10
Speaker
go on i have a gift from a certain god but i need two members three members now of our traveling party to keep the secret that i follow a certain god please um i don't know what you mean
00:26:30
Speaker
Yes, you're being rather vague. I'm looking at Drago, Robin and Folly, who know what I'm dealing with right now. Oh, he follows a god called Akiva. Oh, flip. And he would rather you not tell anyone that he follows this god, because for some reason this is illegal, which further down the mountain I said, people are after him, there's this illegal religion.
00:26:57
Speaker
Group that could be after Claude and I've we've taken it upon ourselves To tell him not to worry about said group because we would protect him But yes, the reason why he wants you to keep this quiet is because it's illegal. There you go Claude I told I told elf here in confidence and now I'm being hunted and
00:27:21
Speaker
by Elfie and the illegal religion worshippers. So Kenneth, Carstan and Princess, I need you all to say that you will not tell us all. So you're on the run from the Abriskra? Yeah, I want Mughead and it's funny because I made a living in removing heads. How do I feel about this, Mark? How do I feel about this news?
00:27:46
Speaker
Well the from this is applies really to Helena and to cast and really the criss-cross is a innately obsidianist you know and sanguine lands section they are renowned for being heavy-handed.
00:28:04
Speaker
they're renowned for sometimes, as the rumor goes, using the guise of anti-religion or anti-illegal religion in order to push certain political methodologies. They work very closely with some of the spy networks in the San Green Lands as well as a few of the more military branches of the government there as well. So they have a reputation of being
00:28:32
Speaker
very strong-willed. They are heavy-handed. You know that those that follow things like the faith of mixowas and other illegal religions, the penalty is death. The penalty is death. There's no really real trial if they believe you to be. Think of a lot of witch trials. If you believe you're a witch, you die. It's the same kind of thing there. But they are powerful. You know they have a stronghold in Goldview, in every major capital in every kingdom.
00:29:00
Speaker
aside from the kingdoms to the east, they are quite potent, they're quite powerful. They're not particularly trusted, so whether or not, it depends on how you two want to play them based on your counts. We've thought that mainly based on, based on say, Kastan's upbringing, and I don't know how Kastan wants to play it, but how does, how is the faith of Akiva in that lot, how is it so, how would Kastan's upbringing have told him to react to this news? I'm trying to put it in context within
00:29:29
Speaker
No, that's a good setup to go for. As far as you're aware, you have heard of the illegal religions only through the event which was the Unmending, where the Faith of Mixawas basically tricked and betrayed those leaders of different kingdoms to join up and help fight this demon that appeared on Traitor's Bay, which is now called
00:29:51
Speaker
And when he got there, they actually turned on the leaders to try and kill them, causing no end of consternation, which was the reason why Roth-Hawksplitter formed the 11 Kingdoms off the back of that as kind of like the post-Second World War, the UN was formed, that kind of thing. Like, look, we've all gone through this together. Now let's team up and sort this place out together.
00:30:10
Speaker
So, in terms of the illegal religions, all you really know is the faith of mixolus, the big one, the baddies, the ones that really try to screw everyone over. The other religions that are banned, you don't know much about because there's quite a few of them. So that'll be the only one you'd be inherently worried about from your position, Karsten. In terms of you, Helena, your interest has always been in one of the triumvirate, one of the major three religions, so you don't have to tell you that.
00:30:37
Speaker
it's up to you how you choose you want to play that if you want to play a more it's your call it's your call really
00:30:45
Speaker
Can I just turn to Karstan? Sorry, we'll turn to, yeah, no, too many C's in this place. It turns a clawed off the back of that and just go, I don't subscribe to any religion particularly. If it helps us on the battlefield and it helps us on this mountain, I welcome it. But aside from that- I just need Karstan and the princess to think about it.
00:31:10
Speaker
Well, I mean, it could be worse. I mean, at least you didn't say you're a follower of mix-wass. So, you know, it's... What was that word? That's right. Oh, yeah. The following of mix-wass. Excuse me? Okay, the religion we shouldn't talk about. No, I don't know what word just came out your mouth. Mix-awass. Mix-awass?
00:31:35
Speaker
I would write it down, Claus, but you can't read. It's true, I can't. I don't know what that means. I can't really pronounce most words, so... I don't know what that means, but I don't follow that thing. Sounds sheer. Well, they're the reason that religion's got banned. So you started to become a believer of your religion after you served my father? Yeah, after I didn't work for your father no more. So my father doesn't know?
00:32:00
Speaker
No, no. Do you know what his views were before you left? No, because I never even heard of my master when I worked for your father. It's a really hard word to say. I don't know how to feel, Claude.
00:32:18
Speaker
Basically, just don't tell anyone how to do it and then you get to come to a really nice dinner. Why would the penalty be death if...? Because, well, people think that he caused a blight, because he caused a blight, you know? Well, did he cause a blight? Yeah, just a little bit. Well then, Hansko went to this, Claude, you know? My mother. I know, I'm trying to put everything right. I'm trying to put it all right. Claude, I'm sorry, I could agree to this. Not at the moment, you're going to have to be damned. I mean, you've got no other choice.
00:32:48
Speaker
That sounds like the threat in the princess. I'm not threatening Helena but given the current circumstances he needs your protection. It's the master's magic what stopped you dying a couple times princess. Right but I'm not I'm not interested in bribery Claude. I'm not forcing you but I'm also saying that judge the person not the god. I'm sorry it's too personal for me.
00:33:16
Speaker
So what listen, I'm not saying that I'm not saying that I'm going to shout to the rooftops or the mountains, so to speak about this religion that you have applaud. That's all I can't talk about it with you at the moment. And I can't say that I support this.
00:33:31
Speaker
OK, that sounds like you're not going to kill me, though. No, I won't kill you. Oh, that's wonderful news. OK, and you won't tell anyone else that he follows Akiva. At the moment, no. There we go. OK, cool.

Hero's Feast and Team Solidarity

00:33:44
Speaker
That's all we need. OK, well, I don't think I'm going to survive much longer. So
00:33:50
Speaker
I would like to bestow upon everyone a gift from the master if you would like it. Now might not be the right time after that conversation. Notice you didn't have to be the right time because we're all hungry and exhausted and it will really help. Is it food? Yes. Good, I accept. Bring it on. I'm going to cast a sixth level spell called Hero's Feast and I'm going to use my really expensive materials to do it.
00:34:16
Speaker
Okay so what happens and how do you do it? In this tiny little hut is a tiny little table that suddenly gets filled with Hogwarts feast style food out of nowhere. Amazing. Foods and drink and warmth and lots of fun. It takes an hour for everyone to partake in the feast but if you do partake in the feast you get shit loads of good things.
00:34:44
Speaker
Including all diseases and poisons are cured. You become immune to poisons and being frightened and make all wisdom saving throws with advantage. Your maximum hit point increases by 2d10. What? And you regain that health back. This effect lasts 24 hours. How? And till this time tomorrow night, everyone is fucking Superman.
00:35:13
Speaker
Wow. It's very costly for me to do. I only have one expensive spell left. But this seems like the time. That's awesome. That's really cool. Oh Claude. I love Claude. I love Claude too. I just have no wealth now whatsoever.
00:35:30
Speaker
Brilliant. Okay, so as this tiny hut gets filled full of the feastful food, you can smell the gorgeous bits of food that seem to now fill the space. Harley's gone to absolute fucking town on it. Canard's down on it, eating away, he's loving it. And they're just enjoying themselves really at the moment. The hut's warm. You do notice though, constantly in the background of this, just a really low, kind of not a rumble, just like a
00:36:00
Speaker
No, it's just like a... Just in the background. It's not like the grind's rumbling or anything. For those... Washing? Yeah, that's one. Basically, Akiva's doing his dirty washing. No, it's like... So for Claude and anyone else who's had the experience of Akiva in any way, shape or form, you'd remember there was that kind of hissing, that constant noise, which is just kind of akin to the eternal plane, the eternal realm.
00:36:29
Speaker
A bit of that is in the background, just almost making you all aware that this is an offering from Akiva, not just a random piece with lovely music. The music of the Eternal Plane is that of the perpetual white noise, which you can kind of hear very, very faintly. It's not intrusive in any way, but that's just there in the background as you're eating. Helen, it's not going to take any food.
00:36:52
Speaker
Okay, is everyone else taking food? Everyone else getting involved? Oh, I'm getting involved, but alongside that Robin is also going to take out the brazier, put some incense and some charcoal into it and just lean into Tally or Folly whoever's nearest can go. Might I have a spark? It would be not too much trouble.
00:37:14
Speaker
If you were to say that to me, I would like to say, I would advise Charlie would be the one you would go to. Yes, that is right. Charlie, would you?
00:37:25
Speaker
She's up with the chicken leg in, mouth, and she wipes her mouth, cleans her hands, gets her father's book out, turns it, oh, yeah, here you go. And then just the single two fingers, just kind of almost clicks her fingers in your brazier, causing a small flame to take place. And then she goes back to her chicken. Nira is being re-stummed over this hour of the hawk. Yay. Oh, Nira's back, yay. I missed that. Oh, she wants a cat, so she's now about to be a hawk again. She's going to spend some head dye.
00:37:55
Speaker
Yes. Well, this is up to you now. At this point, it is around late morning. You have the capacity if you wanted to. You can long rest. It has been enough time or you can short rest and continue on. However, we do run the risk, therefore, of gaining some exhaustion.
00:38:13
Speaker
um from that or another level of exhaustion for you drago so it's up to you as a group so how long do we want to stay here for um me and robin were talking before and he correctly assumes that eltheir is far ahead of us
00:38:32
Speaker
And so we run the risk if we rest longer of him getting too far. Likewise, we also run the risk of being unable to defend ourselves if we were to come up against him. We need to be at full strength if we were to meet this L there.
00:38:52
Speaker
But it's a tough one. I think it'd have to be a vote because we're on the precipice of a knife edge here and one wrong decision will fall and will be cut.
00:39:05
Speaker
I know I used a lot of my magics when we were escaping the mine and the likes, so I don't have many of... I don't have much strength left in my spells. So are you for a long rest? Only because if you say we need to be strong, then that's the best way we would be able to do it, but I'll see what the others say. Robin, what do you think? We've got Karsten for a long stay.
00:39:32
Speaker
I've had long rest. As Drago quite wisely said, if we were climbing this mountain edge, we can achieve nothing if we push ourselves to death's door. Folly, what do you say? While I do believe it is important to certainly have a rush in us, I believe the rest should take top priority. Helena, what do you say?
00:39:55
Speaker
I also believe we should long rest. I think that if this elf here is watching us, then he's not going to go any further. He wants us to follow him or he wants us to beat him somewhere. He's using us as his guide, so I believe that if we rest, he will rest also. He's going to be watching us from wherever he's done. Claude, do you agree? The master wishes you all to be at full strength. That is why he has brought this bountiful feast. Tylee, I assume you have no objections.
00:40:25
Speaker
You look over to Tali and she is asleep in the corner with a bit of chicken hanging out of her mouth. Long rest it is. It cannot. I assume you don't care. As long as we keep moving and I try and find any semblance of Jamis on the way up then I'm happy. I'll follow your lead, Rago.
00:40:45
Speaker
our collective lead and I agree with you all long rest this will remain for the next eight hours so it should at least it should stay for as long as we need to to wait here and because of how it works we won't need to have a watch if we don't need one
00:41:02
Speaker
Are we allowed to leave and enter as we like? Yes, yes, yes. You can walk through as you want.

Threats from Religious Groups

00:41:09
Speaker
It's just anything that was outside of this area when I cast it. Can't get in. No magic, no spells, no objects, nothing. Okay. I'd like to take a watch. I just would like Claude. Can we have a quick word outside? Yeah, okay. Who's going outside the hut? So Drago and Claude.
00:41:30
Speaker
Clankety clanky Claude and the lizard man Just don't get cold out there
00:41:35
Speaker
okay so you pass out of the hut into the cold and suddenly it strokes you how nice and warm and cozy it is in there as you step through the barrier and into the cold of the of the morning the later mornings sun uh you're stood outside on the edge looking over these mountains with the path running from your right across to your left with the the hut and the the cave front behind you um
00:42:03
Speaker
You're stood there looking out and the silence seems to overtake you. You almost got yourself a bit of a bother back there in the old, you know, problematic situation. Yeah, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. First off, thanks for saving my life earlier.
00:42:20
Speaker
It's okay. Like I said, it's my business to make sure that you are alive. Actually, I'm glad that you said that. It's also my business to make sure that you're alive. And I need to get it into your head that whoever seems to be after you, you do have myself, Folly, Robin, Tally, will defend you. That means a lot.
00:42:45
Speaker
Also, I'm not really at one with religion, and back there when I brought up just that you were a follower of Akiva, I didn't expect the reaction to happen as it went down. So my apologies for that.
00:43:05
Speaker
It sounded like you were defending him. You were defending the master. No, I'm defending you. I'm not defending a god. I do need to apologize because what happened was beyond what I foresaw and shows one of the many reasons why I don't understand this realm that I am in.
00:43:27
Speaker
I just wanted to reiterate that you do have friends who will defend you. I hope that I haven't eroded your friendship with Karstan and Helena too detrimentally. But also on that strand, be careful with them. If your beliefs are so strong and their beliefs are so strong, it might come to a head.
00:43:52
Speaker
i'm i'm a bit confused what you're apologizing for the fact that i blurted out that you were a follower of a kiva oh yeah i mean that's what i'm apologizing for
00:44:05
Speaker
You don't apologise. One day I will make sure that the master's name is cleared and that people can walk about Eryth saying his name without fear of death. It's my dream and if I die on this mountain I want to make sure that I'm not afraid to say it. Good. And you're not going to die on this mountain.
00:44:28
Speaker
No, am I? I mean, I've never flown before. That could have gone one of either ways. If you didn't only handle that situation, you then saved a couple of us on the way. So as far as I can tell, you're doing fine. Just keep being you.
00:44:45
Speaker
Yeah, I'd do my best. Maybe not all of you, but just you in the most part. Yeah. Okay. Well, you'd do me one favor and then I'll fully accept your apology. Right. Would you just put this bear in the bottom of your bag for now?
00:45:03
Speaker
Bloody bear. Fine. Give me the bear hat. Do you need to do something with this old bear? On two occasions now, these bears have saved your life. So maybe just regular bear, not bloody bear. Just give me the damn bear.
00:45:18
Speaker
Damn, I will take down one step up. All right. Yeah. Um, like I said before, if you spot above or I shout the bear in the eye and do something, yes. Okay. All right. Fine. It's important to Robin and
00:45:35
Speaker
Shader that, you know, you don't get yourself in a spot of hot water. And that's what teddy bears are about. I'm fine. I'm not gonna die and nor are you. Good night. And with that, Drago turns and heads back into the tent. Helena, obviously Claude's still out there, but if you want to take watch, I'd be grateful. I'm too tired.
00:45:58
Speaker
No, that's fine. I can do that. Can I just say as well, whilst they're out, I'm going to turn to Karstan and just as they all still might be eating.
00:46:11
Speaker
Um, I still haven't had anything. So I'm just going to turn to cast down and say, um, have we got any rations? Uh, yeah, I've got some, I've got some rations. If you, if you want them, I understand you not wanting to, I just don't want to eat from a feast being brought to us by a God that's brought on this horrific disease, this, this blight, this, this deathly.
00:46:35
Speaker
I know. Our families, our friends, our people, my mother. I mean, I mean, maybe Claude misunderstood what Akiva told him. I mean, when I told Claude that I was OK with it, you know, I said that just to make him feel better. But yes, I understand. And I wish I could too. I wish I could too. I just, it's way too personal for me. No, that my mother is somewhere that, I mean, I hope she's still alive. I hope
00:47:05
Speaker
she's still well to some extent. I'm doing this all to save her from this horrific thing and I don't understand why everybody's okay with this. I thought we were all fighting against the blight and I don't understand why Claude could support this.
00:47:21
Speaker
I don't know whether it's, I mean, Claude's complicated and maybe, I don't know, but the others, they're not from here, so they don't, I don't think they understand the, how, how much the blight has taken from, from Aerith. I just don't, maybe, I know it's, I know they want to stop it and they're doing a really good job, but maybe they just, they don't understand how many people have been affected by it.
00:47:44
Speaker
Yes, maybe you're right. I mean, I would really like a little drop of your rations if you... Yeah, no, no, no, you can have some of my rations. Especially if I'm going to be taking watch a little later, I'm going to need to keep up my strength. Yes, have some of my rations and you'll need to... If you watch for an hour, you can wait me and I can do another hour and we can share it out. At least we don't need two of us on watch with the hut up. Well, that'll be great. Thank you very much, Karsten. Okay, you take these rations and wait me an hour.
00:48:14
Speaker
thank you and then obviously yeah assuming the first watch in that case sorry is that claud taking the first watch yeah if i'm left out there after drago's exchange i thought it was just um helena and class down doing it it could be awkward if you were to walk outside and claud didn't move well i mean i mean uh the great thing is you actually you can you can watch from inside because because we can see out things can't see
00:48:43
Speaker
Yes. But if Claude stays out there maybe you try and get some rest yourself or I don't know. What do you think he'll know to wake me? I can go tell him if you want me to. Well I can do that myself then. Okay. I'll just poke my head out of the tent. Claude. Your Highness? Are you taking first watch? Yes. Can you wake me when you're done? Absolutely. Thank you and then I'll just come back in. Your Highness. I've really liked that for some reason. That was...
00:49:09
Speaker
Ooh, that was good. That was so good. So good. Anyway, oh, I just, I just, I muted myself and let you guys shout. That was brilliant. Um, so Claude, you're taking the first watch. Could I have, uh, by the way, remember this isn't at night. We're going to be waking up in the art wall, kind of coming to and being ready to move. And the hut will dissipate at around mid afternoon, mid to late afternoon. So we are intending on walking at night as well for the next period of time. So, because it is going to mid morning at the moment, I'm going to be a blind man on a mountain.
00:49:38
Speaker
So that's, I know it's gonna be amazing. So that's the order. So Claude, can I please have you make a perception check, please? Yes, I would also spend some of my watch saying a series of prayers as well to Akiva and thanking him for the feast, thanking him for my companions and things like that. Okay, yeah, no problem. You can take that time to do that. As you will be communing with Akiva to an extent or passing on your thanks and him passing his godly wisdoms back to you, roll your perception with advantage. Oh, advantage, thank you.
00:50:10
Speaker
Nope, 11. Okay, no problem. You'll watch for the most part passes quite fervently, quite silently. You're sat outside the height, it's a bit cold, but your warmth of faith keeps you warm. But at one point, you kind of drop into a meditative stance and you kind of come to, you're not really sure how long it's been. As you look around, everything seems fine, the hut's still there.
00:50:35
Speaker
No one else is around really think it's fine you see the sun and you pretty sure it's been the hour and you can go and wake helena.
00:50:43
Speaker
Okay, I'll do so. Okay, Helena, can I have you two roll perception, please? 12. No problem. Do you take your watch from inside the hut? Yeah, I will, yeah. Okay, so from inside the hut, you wait and see, you're following, looking at the path from the right to the left and kind of looking out over the openness of the mountain range in front of you, taking in the grandeur of the Skull Road Mountains.
00:51:07
Speaker
But your watch passes almost without incident, except for the fact that Claude's snoring seems to irritate you more and more as the hour presses on. But your watch passes fine. Do you want to wake Castan?
00:51:22
Speaker
What I'll do is I'll consider these as double watches. So I imagine Castan then wakes Claude up, Claude wakes up. So we won't run through it twice, but I'll just, we're doubling it up. Oh, we got, it's just three of us then. We just, the three of us gonna. Yeah, no one else, no one else kind of. If there is a fourth watch, I would just like to wake Folly and take it with him. Okay. No worries. So we'll do Castan next. Castan.
00:51:45
Speaker
So, okay, Karsten will, after Hal has woken him, he'll sort of shuffle because, like you imagine, lots of people are all sprawled around in this space, but it's still nice and comfortable. He might lower the lighting a little bit just to make it look dim, actually we can sleep properly. And then he'll sit sort of at the edge. He is. He'll skip, let the edge just looking out and yeah. Could you give me your perception check, please? Is he going to write a song?
00:52:10
Speaker
He might scribble a few limericks down upon his little pad, but he's not going to interrupt people. How would he go? Well, he's not singing it out loud. But what's going through your mind?
00:52:26
Speaker
You have to wait for the grand premiere. Oh, God damn it, Callum. I was close. I was close. I've got them pre-written. Callum Stan needs an audience, guys. Do you not know this? He needs an audience. I just wanted a view inside his mind. That is odd. No. What did you get? What did you get, guys? Do my perception check. Yeah. I got a 20 on the roll, but my pattern is 26.
00:52:54
Speaker
So, on your watch, you've got your parchment eye probably jotting down the odd limerick, as you said, looking out, keeping watch on the path and looking out over the mountains for some kind of inspiration. A couple of things happen on the watch. Firstly, as you look out over the distance, your eye is drawn to the tallest mountain, furthest away, and its snow-capped peak seems to point perfectly towards the heavenly skies above.
00:53:21
Speaker
you look away for a second look down onto your parchment you look back up and you you swear you can see a small black dot just appear on that mountain top as you rub your eyes to check your vision and look back it's disappeared and you feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and you feel between the the the snores of of Claude you swear you can hear someone whispering and as you look around to all the people Tali he's probably lying just next to you again his open mouth is
00:53:49
Speaker
but there's no words coming out of her mouth. So this happened again. This voice seems to whisper. Are they saying actual words or is it just sort of whispers? All you can really make out is, you know, if you hear really quiet whisper, you can just say the S sound. It's kind of like, that's all you can really hear. I'm sorry if that sounded really creepy, but yeah, that kind of thing. And you're just aware of it.
00:54:14
Speaker
And then finally the last thing that happens is that happens kind of gets you on edge and you're kind of very like still waiting for something else to happen because you all your senses are really heightened as you do that you see a shimmer of some kind of figure you can't see it really you can just see that normal vision is kind of
00:54:37
Speaker
affected slightly almost like you're looking through water where it kind of just refracts ever so slightly and this refracted little thing seems to move like a creature would and it kind of comes up the part and so down the path from where you haven't been yet from the left into the cave mouth.
00:54:55
Speaker
I kind of walks around and stops at certain points around the hearts stops for a minute does a few other twitch again you can just see like little movements of this refraction taking place you can't see what it is you just see this
00:55:09
Speaker
something's not right and then it kind of this thing kind of wobbles off down the path again away from you. What you've basically done because what I've decided is that your perception is so good that you've managed to notice the nuance in invisibility which means you are seeing something that is invisible really to the normal eye but with the 26 I can't say you can't see something
00:55:34
Speaker
it's like a heat haze or something like that exactly that's even better in the water yeah it is literally like a heat haze so you can notice something's not right but you have no idea what it is but you know something that wasn't visible was there and now it's gone and how big was this shimmer it would be the size of a either small or tiny creature
00:55:55
Speaker
Cool. So after his watch, Karsten will take a few moments and he will sort of try and calm himself because he doesn't know what he's seeing, whether his nervousness is because of what happened in the mine or anything like that. He will then sort of make his way carefully stepping over people and will then shake
00:56:18
Speaker
Robin, awake, gently. Robin. Castan. It's your watch. Fair enough. It's been three hours already, so there's not too long to go. Are you alright, Castan? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what I...
00:56:35
Speaker
I was looking out over the mountain. I don't know whether I saw a figure up on the mountain top over there or what. It was very strange. I don't know whether it's my mind playing tricks. It could have been, it could have been anything at this distance. It could have been snow moving or I don't know. Um, but there was something else. Um, something, a small creature came down from the path that we haven't been
00:56:58
Speaker
up yet but well I couldn't actually see it properly it it could have been anything but it was it was it was hiding it was invisible i don't know whether it knew we were here but i it sort of walked around for a bit and then and then left well it didn't seem to attack us so i didn't think to disturb everybody no you did the right thing okay i will um i was planning on waking folly and taking you with me that seems like a smart move now anyway
00:57:26
Speaker
Be careful out there, it's still quite cold out there. I will. Thank you, Carson. I'll just wait for Folly. Folly. Hello, Folly. This place seems quite dangerous and I don't fancy taking a watch on my own. Will you join me? Sorry to wake you. Yes, yes, yes, yes, of course. No problems. Folly's going to just jump down from his rucksack because he uses it as bed as well.
00:57:54
Speaker
As we step outside, Robin will turn to Folly and go, have I ever seen you smoke a pipe? No, I've never smoked before. Shame. I don't know if I'm playing on like a normal stereotype, forgive me if I am, but I just assumed you'd smoke and I was, well, I haven't had a pipe in a long time. I'd be lying if I said I didn't know a lot of people who may have donned the pipe every now and then. Donned the pipe!
00:58:20
Speaker
Not one for me, I'm afraid. Well, next time we find civilisation, I think I'd like to get my hands on one. Actually, that's something we could possibly arrange. I think I know where a lot of the others stand on the gods. I don't think Drago believes in them. I think Kroll almost believes in them too much. I don't know about the others. But you I'm not so sure about, and I feel like I've travelled with you longer than
00:58:46
Speaker
perhaps Helena or Castan who I wouldn't want to pass judgement. What about you? What do you believe? It's an interesting question, Robin. I have definitely gone back and forth on this quite a bit during my travels.
00:59:02
Speaker
If it's one thing I've learnt is that the best gods are the ones that you can see. The best gods to believe in are the ones that make a difference. God is nothing in the eyes of a non-believer and I can't believe in something that I don't see. I believe that the true gods are the ones out there fighting the blight. The true gods are the ones out there taking care of the people who need to be taken care of.

not the people who hide and get other people like Claude believe to do their bidding for them. I much prefer to believe in something that I can see than in something that I can't. How about yourself? Well, I think you're wise. I've never believed in anything. I've just existed, I think, and I've always thought that that was enough and kept faith in those who are around me. But the people who I care about the most in this world, the one person I care about the most in this world isn't here.
00:59:56
Speaker
I think it's going to sound mental for me, so perhaps I will save this for when we have dealt with Elphir.
01:00:04
Speaker
But for now, I'll say this. From what I've seen, gods aren't going to win this war. Mortals are. And the most important thing that perhaps that we can wield in that is magic. It's something that you understand better than myself. But I felt what minuscule power magic has added to my abilities. And if anything was to happen to me, as the most prominent magic user in the group, I have a favor to ask of
01:00:31
Speaker
Mm-hmm. What is it there, Robin? Please, do speak. Talia. Ah. Make sure, do what you can to keep her safe. There's power in that spell book of hers that... I don't know, something tells me that we all have the power to fight this thing. Somewhere in that girl might be the power to... We all look to gods but...
01:00:52
Speaker
I don't know. Drago was brought through that rift because he can fight things and he's a powerful wielder of that sword and his belief will drive him to, I don't know what I'm trying to say, but I believe he's here for his ability to wield his sword and
01:01:08
Speaker
I'm here because of what I can do with weapons and what my past has allowed me to do. Shader, Elphir, similar reasons, I suppose. That's why they were brought here. Tali's here because, well, I suppose it comes back to Faith, doesn't it? I believe she's here because of what she could be, not what she currently is. And I just think you were brought to us for a reason as well. And she will need your help.
01:01:36
Speaker
I'd be lying if I didn't say that I could sense some great magical power coming from that girl. There's something I can't quite put my finger on, not something I've ever really encountered. Clearly you can feel it too. I can't say I believe in divine intervention or fate or anything of such nature, but the one thing I do believe in is us. This war will be won one way or another.
01:02:03
Speaker
and it will be won by people like us. I have faith in Drago and his sword. I have faith in you and your beau. I have faith in Tali and her book. Everybody in that hut I have faith in. That is what I believe in. And I give you my word that should anything happen to you, Tali will indeed be very well looked after.

Thank you. I'm really, really devastated by the way that you don't have a pipe. And Robin will just stare out across the mountain

Time Freeze and Mysterious Voice

top.

And just as that has happened, that conversation has just ended and, Robin, your head turns to look out over the over the mountain tops. You sense something strange, your coldness start to creep up your back. And as you look back towards Foley, he is reaching over towards his rucksack for something and seems to be frozen still. The fire in front of you seems to be frozen still, not frozen, but just still like paused. As you look around, you can see Claude mid snore.

Whole held in a still position the air the humming everything has stopped and suddenly you get the feeling out of the periphery to your left just at the very corner of your eye of this black figure start to appear out of the kind of materialize out of nowhere behind you hear a voice that comes from this figure before you have a chance to look you hear this voice that you recognize you sound like one of the face.
01:03:29
Speaker
Robin, plane shifter, I have come for your answer. And before you get a chance to respond to this figure off to the corner of your eye, that's what we're going to leave this episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop. Okay, fine, Stan. I hope you're still intrigued right now. Darren, do you just squawk? Yeah, a little bit.
01:03:56
Speaker
It was involuntary. That wasn't by choice. The giant owl's back. The giant owl goes cluck apparently.

Speaker
I love that. That chicken was great. That was a lovely episode. Oh God, Callum, Darren, everyone. There's so many like quality ones like Drag. There's so many quality lines in that. It just sounded like an actual fucking script. It's like an audio drama. We could be jumping genres here, guys. Every time there are these episodes where you need to unpick something, there's always something really profound you all get out of it. It's just great.
01:04:34
Speaker
Well, I also just thought in that, I mean, this is a little bit of a different thing, but I just thought in that last scene that with Robin and Folly having this real in-depth conversation, I thought they're not watching anything. If something happens, they'll be so embarrassed in what they're both saying. We could be like getting fucking... I love that. Here come the religious army and all of a sudden they've tensed up in flames and everything. Yeah.

It's not a word in the English language, mate. It's more the French on German for that matter. Too many good words. I've used all my good words in the episode, which is how I like to leave it. And Mark likes to leave it all out on the line. And you can follow him on his Twitter page at... Just write down what you want to call me, man. It's much easier if you do that. I'm at Haysley Roll DM. Yay! Until next time, guys.
