Let's dive in. Hey, everybody. Welcome to What's My Age Again. i am Tanya. And I'm Kim. And we are so excited to be starting this podcast.

And we really just want to take a couple minutes and tell you who we are, why we're here, and what this podcast is

Kim's Career Shift

all about. Because as we get into it, we are going to jump into it. So who are we?

um I, Tanya, am a holistic nutritionist, and I am somebody who finally knows better. I spent a lifetime not feeling well and not understanding what that my symptoms, even though they were called common and everybody kind of felt them, they certainly weren't normal.

So I'm somebody who started a different career to change my health, a registered holistic nutritionist, a coach, an empath, a student of homeopathy, and somebody who is here to remind you that the body is vital and vibrant and we can achieve health.

Friendship and Shared Health Experiences

also a registered holistic nutritionist, um an educator. I love educating women on health and supporting themselves. And just like Tanya, this is actually my second career as well.

I had my own health challenges and found it difficult to find information that supported me um until I finally did and was able to support my own health.

um And therefore creating this, you know, career change after 20 years. um And I too believe that the body is vital and the body wants to heal. And I'm so excited to start this journey on this podcast with you, Tanya.

Yes, me too. And I think it's important to note that what is extra fun about this. Yes, we're both holistic nutritionists and we both have come from being unhealthy to vibrant, but we're also childhood best friends. We have seen each other through all of these stages. We have this fun,

rapport. It's like, you know, it's just feels like a pleasure to do this week after week. So we're here because I think both of us can say, we know what it feels like not to feel well.

We know what it feels like not to find healing and not really have anywhere to turn. And not understand that year after year, decade after decade, why we can't feel better.

And you know what? It's simply because, Kim, I think you can agree, we just didn't know better. We didn't know what we didn't know. And we had nowhere to find this information.

ah Totally, Tanya. When I was at my worst, I was looking for everywhere for information. I i wasn't getting it from the medical system. i was I wasn't getting well. i I had zero energy and basically couldn't get out of bed in the morning. And I am so grateful for the holistic health professionals who generously gave information and in platforms such as this, in podcasts, social Yeah, that's good.

gave us and gave me the information that essentially helped guide my healing journey and helped me realize, as you said, Tanya, at the beginning, that the symptoms that I was feeling was my body's way of talking to me.

And yes, they might be common. So many of us women might be feeling this lack of energy or fatigue, but it's certainly not normal. And guiding me to take steps to change my health

and feel better. And I will say that I promised myself that after I healed, that I would help other women in their own healing journey.

But now, I mean, one of the first things Tanya, you and I discussed when thinking about this podcast, because both of us are so passionate to tell all of you that we've been there.

And we've done that. And bought the collagen. Yes. And bought the collagen. And there's just so much information out there now, which is amazing to some extent, but it can also feel really overwhelming and confusing.

And so as registered holistic nutritionists with the background that we have, we're able to help you sort through the noise, talk about what scientifically is true and what we don't need to pay attention to.

And I feel like I can speak for both of us when we go back to giving clarity and direction for women who might feel lost and don't know where to look is at the forefront of, you know, something that we're looking to really put out there and also making it a space for those who might feel lonely in their symptoms that are craving connection and a safe space to laugh, to grow, to learn.
