00:00:00
Speaker
Welcome to What's My Age Again, the realest podcast for women who are done chasing trends and ready to feel empowered. Hi, I'm Kim. And I'm Tanya, holistic nutritionists and childhood best friends who've been there, done that, and bought the collagen.
00:00:16
Speaker
more than once. Each week we provide actionable steps that you can start today to help you thrive through every decade to come. We're cutting through the wellness noise to bring you honest conversations about aging, hormones, health, beauty, mindset, and everything in between.
00:00:33
Speaker
You see, we're also on a mission to age gracefully one WTF moment at a time. Backed by research and real life, we're here to share what actually works, what's a waste of time, and how to truly thrive through the messy, magical midlife transition.
00:00:49
Speaker
We're so happy you're here. Let's dive in. Hey, Kim. Hey, everybody. How are you? Good. Thanks, Tanya. How are you doing? Welcome to What's My Age again?
00:01:00
Speaker
Welcome back, everybody. um it is August and it is amazing. How have you been spending the last week, Kim? What did you get up to? Oh, it's been beautiful. ah Summer is my time of year. It's my favorite time of year. So being outdoors as much as possible.
00:01:17
Speaker
And for those of you, I'm not sure if I mentioned it on here, but I live on the West Coast. I live in Vancouver. So we have the beautiful benefit of having the mountains as well

Seasonal Enjoyment and Skincare Introduction

00:01:27
Speaker
as the ocean. So ah spending lot I'm lots of time near both of those things.
00:01:31
Speaker
Yeah, you do. That sounds so absolutely amazing. And same here. Like I don't have the ocean. I wish I had the ocean, but, um, rivers, you know, we're like Alberta. So like base of the mountains, glacier fed lakes, river. So yeah, glacier fed being key. It is an ice bath, but I mean, it's amazing. You get hot, you take a little dunk and, you know, carry on. Natural cold plunges.
00:01:57
Speaker
Natural cold plunges. So me too lots of time outside and lots of time with sun on our skin, the elements, the wind. And I think that's kind of what we were brainstorming last week to talk about is like our go-to like summer skincare. And I think probably the dead of August is a good time to have this conversation.
00:02:19
Speaker
Absolutely. No, for sure. And that is, you know, I know Tanya, you and I have talked about this a lot, but a lot of questions we get from, you know, over Instagram, even from our clients is what skin, what skin products do we use? Because we also want to look at the ingredients and we are obviously heavily research into the ingredients of the skincare we use. So let's talk about that summer skincare and maybe we can end with some products that we love and use.
00:02:48
Speaker
Love it. Totally in. Love to talk about these kind of things. And I love to piggyback off what everybody is using.

Aging and Skin Changes

00:02:54
Speaker
Mainly you, Kim, what are you using? So that'll be super exciting. So I think I want to go back to a second. It's so interesting. Someone told me a couple months ago, a friend of mine actually, that I'm not sure if it was women exclusive. So I'll just say in a women's life cycle, 44 and 60 are like quantum leap.
00:03:18
Speaker
years for aging 44. yeah here we are so i want to comment on this for a second because It was wild. It was like when she said that, so much made sense.
00:03:37
Speaker
So I'm going to be totally honest with you. Up until I turned 44 like November of last year, because again, we're eighty s babies. So- so I'm going to be turning 45 really soon, but I turned 44 in November and I've never seen so many changes in my, my skin. And I'm being serious and not exaggerating.
00:04:00
Speaker
I was pretty even keel up until then. I was like, okay, we're doing good. Like the wrinkles are kind of manageable. Like the elasticity, boom. Like I hit a wall or something and I've been noticing a lot deeper lines, like over my eyebrows my elasticity of my eyelids.
00:04:21
Speaker
Hello, anybody out there, Kim, like help me out. Like, is it just me? Like my eyelids have changed so much. Well, yeah. And my skin, I, I, so I've always had sort of a bit of acne, hormonal acne prone skin.
00:04:38
Speaker
And can you explain what that is and where it would be Kim to like, so everybody can kind of understand that that doesn't know. Absolutely. So for years, I was sort and we're going to get probably into this a lot in these podcasts, but I had a bit of estrogen dominance, which meant that my ratio of estrogen and progesterone was off. So around my cycle, I would get a lot of breakouts around my chin area and mouth area, which is sort of where you will get hormonal acne.
00:05:08
Speaker
And so, but at the same time, I also have Hashimoto's. right which one of the symptoms of Hashimoto's is dryness. So dry hair, dry skin, dry nails.
00:05:19
Speaker
um And so I've got this like combination of dry skin and with pro like, which also can sort of clog pores and create more acne.

Hydration and Detoxification for Skin

00:05:30
Speaker
And then of course, as you mentioned, I'm also um going through perimenopause, declining hormones, starting to get the wrinkles,
00:05:41
Speaker
So I'm in this real combination approach. That sounds like joyous. That just sounds so fun. for Sounds horrendous. ah Let's talk about this for a second, because one of the things that we always think is going topical and we're going to talk topical. We're going to talk about products in a second, but a couple of things. Well, when I first started my own health journey,
00:06:05
Speaker
Skin was sort of the last change that happened to me. in My skin cleared up. And that was sort of the of last, that last symptom that kind of went away as I was supporting my body.
00:06:16
Speaker
um And a couple of things that I needed to do was number one was hydration. Absolutely. Kim, I love how you just said though, skin was like the last thing that changed.
00:06:29
Speaker
And for me too, but for very different ways. Like i you know what I mean? I don't have that combination skin. I am dry as the Sahara my whole life. You guys know me, Kim, you know, who was moisturizing in grade two with your hands and feet, Tanya Church.
00:06:45
Speaker
But I love how you said the skin being the last thing that you noticed, because think about it, ladies, think about when people say like that glow up for lack of a better word, or you're glowing. It usually is after we have done something long-term or started a regimen for our health, health, not our skin health per se. And then all of a sudden that becomes a domino that falls over because, oh my God, contrary to popular belief, we are all connected. We are holistic. We are not bits and pieces of body.
00:07:17
Speaker
The skin follows. So I love how you said that. And it's interesting too, because the skin wasn't my primary concern at that time. Right. At that time, it was energy. It was getting out of bed in the morning. I was deep into the symptoms of Hashimoto's.
00:07:33
Speaker
And so that was my focus. The skin clearing up was actually sort of like the icing on the cake. And again, your point, it is when I started to really believe that food was medicine and that healing holistically is the way to go. So 100%.
00:07:50
Speaker
So then let's link that back to what you started saying, hydration. And linking it to especially in the summer and being skin is an inside out job.
00:08:03
Speaker
So when we're hydrating, what are we doing? Well, number one. I always think about it. We're flushing out toxins. And you know, I love to talk about the organs of detoxification and elimination. Our skin is our largest organ. Ladies, we talked about this prior when we talked about sunscreen and it is a like a secondary organ of detox. So it means usually the things we're seeing that are happening for our skin are starting within, as you mentioned, Kim, like estrogen dominance.
00:08:30
Speaker
And when we are drinking adequately, that is just one step, but one very important step in flushing out the toxins. So now they're not kind of pushing through the skin and causing things like acne, dermatitis, hives, eczema, you name it.
00:08:45
Speaker
So that's one of the reasons I love hydration myself. Absolutely. And to your point, Tanya, if you are noticing breakouts um and it's not hormonal, it could be hormonal, it could be other things, but addressing the liver, addressing the organs of detoxification Supporting detoxification is is really, really important here. It can actually be ah sign that you really do need to look at detoxification.

Nutritional Support for Skin Health

00:09:12
Speaker
And so maybe we should talk about that for one second too. um
00:09:18
Speaker
Tanya, why don't you talk about detoxification and how we can support that? Because one part is absolutely hydration, but the other part is getting it out. So sweating is so important. yeah I love this too. And it's so funny. so Things are so universal. I was just talking about sweating with my husband when we were on a bike ride and it was hot out and I've, I have trouble sweating. I'm not a sweater. And I was just telling my husband, I want to sweat. And he's like dripping sweat, like looking at me like, you want this? And I'm like, yeah, cause to your point,
00:09:51
Speaker
This is pushing out the toxins. So the water that we are hydrating ourself with helps to flush and clean the body. You know what I mean? Lubricate, detox, and elimination. But we also then need to have enough hydration in us where we can produce sweat.
00:10:07
Speaker
So then I'm on the bike and my brain's going on a tangent. I'm like, am I dehydrated? Is this what's happening? It's not. But anyways, it doesn't matter. I digress. But yes, so sweating is such an important way to push out the toxins,
00:10:21
Speaker
through our skin so we can excrete them that way. That's such a major channel. And so I would say, you know, making sure that you're doing something that works up a sweat a few times a week. And that could be really great cardio. It could be you, Tanya, on your bike.
00:10:39
Speaker
It could be running. It could be in an infrared sauna. Oh, yes. Again, I feel like we've talked about this before. I know. And I'm like, hey, Wes, my husband, if you're listening, infrared sauna, just another plug for it. So yes, that would make me s sweat.
00:10:54
Speaker
Yeah, I think that's so important. And it's so so important when we're talking about skincare, because this is from the inside out. Absolutely. Another big one when we're talking inside out is healthy fats.
00:11:07
Speaker
Oh my gosh. Yes. Can we talk about how many times I'm speaking to a client and I'm letting them know that all the slathering of the creams and the oils externally are not going to help when we are deficient in these essential fatty acids?
00:11:24
Speaker
A hundred percent. Right. And Kim, where can we get these healthy fats easily on a daily basis? how you How do you get these in your body? Okay, well, first of all, with food, we can go with avocados, good quality oils like olive oil, avocado oil.
00:11:43
Speaker
But we also, we can do nuts and seeds, but we also really want to focus on one essential fatty acid, omega-3s. Omega-3s aren't something that we can produce in our body. We need to get them externally.
00:11:58
Speaker
And what we know is that in the standard Western diet, We don't get enough. There's a bit of an imbalance in the omega-3s that we consume. And so good quality omega-3s are things like chia seeds, ground flax seeds, walnuts, cold water fish like salmon or mackerel, or there's also really great omega-3 supplements in the market as well.
00:12:27
Speaker
ah Love it. Here's my PSA. Do not eat farm fish. Don't even bother. So good quality. But yeah, and I love too, this is a little reminder that used to help me before I was a nutritionist and when I was just learning.
00:12:41
Speaker
When we say essential fatty acids, they're essential because like you just said, we cannot make them. yeah So if you're not taking them in, you do not have them and this will show in your skin.
00:12:53
Speaker
Absolutely. Right? Absolutely. Absolutely. And so essentially fats are what protect our cells. It's the layer, it's our cellular membranes and each. So internally, as well as externally on our face, that's, that's what's protecting our cells.
00:13:09
Speaker
So it's so, so, so important to, to ensure that we're getting healthy fats in our diet. It's important for our skin. It's important for our brain.

Skincare Routines and Product Choices

00:13:18
Speaker
Side note. A thousand percent. And In general too, obviously a whole food diet, like this is just a big, broad umbrella because we know, but like a whole food diet, the more we're eating real whole foods and the less we're eating ingredients from a box or, you know, processed, these are the phytonutrients that our skin needs. There are certain vitamins and minerals, especially
00:13:44
Speaker
And I know that Kim, you mentioned when we were chatting like beta carotene, like vitamin A, that is one of the essential ones as well. And can you like maybe touch upon why is that essential for us? Where can we get this magical vitamin A beta carotene?
00:13:59
Speaker
Well, yes, of course. So beta carotene is a precursor to vitamin a yeah which means that it converts into vitamin A in our body. So beta carotene you can get from sort of orange vegetables like We can get it from carrots are a huge source of beta carotene. Sweet potatoes are great source of beta carotene.
00:14:21
Speaker
um And yes, it's this is a nutrient that our skin and eyes, for that matter, needs to be. When we talk about carrots, I always think of eyes. I feel like that's ingrained in us from like grade school.
00:14:34
Speaker
you choice and it's true know to and the That and the apple a day, those were things that I'm like, wow, okay, there was actually some merits to those. there was threat those are those they They still live out to be true.
00:14:49
Speaker
That's so true. So I want to know specifically, like, so now we've really talked about it. I, this goes beyond and above. We've talked about s SPF, when to apply, you know, what to use, you know, our guide there. So if you guys haven't listened to that, go back a couple episodes. So that's it. But this is more like how we're nourishing our skin in these summer months. And we just want to share with what we're using because again a lot of people ask well what do you use on your skin or and I'm curious too so let's get into it do you want to talk can you speak a little bit about your skincare routine and like what you're using right now sure absolutely well like I said the sweating piece is a big deal for me the detoxing piece is a big deal
00:15:32
Speaker
the getting the toxins out. So I do have an infrared sauna, which I got for Christmas and I'm so excited about. literally And I also use red light therapy, which helps support, um, so many things when it comes to health recovery, um, my thyroid and then also skin rejuvenation. So red light and sauna are big deals for me.
00:15:57
Speaker
um, Again, supporting my liver, so important, keeping the detoxification pathways open. And then for products, love a company called Skin Essence Organics.
00:16:07
Speaker
It's a Canadian company. ah I've researched the ingredients in there, EWG certified. It is beautiful, um natural skincare products and organic.
00:16:22
Speaker
And I use their cleanser. I use their serums. um They have a beautiful rose oil. They have a wonderful vitamin E, which I also use. Vitamin E can be really supportive too when it comes to sun protection.
00:16:36
Speaker
um Good point. And also after sun protection as well. um And then i make sure I exfoliate my skin um once a week as well, which is super important for me because again, dry prone.
00:16:50
Speaker
um And then I think I mentioned on the, the sun care episode, I use a beautiful company called beauty codes. um They have a product called time to shine. It's a three in one daily s SPF and it's tinted.
00:17:05
Speaker
So i love that product as well, but yeah, skin essence organics is what I'm using right now. Okay. um Yeah. but don' yeah And can I ask you something before I go on to be like,
00:17:19
Speaker
So is there an order to your madness? do You just like, obviously you're cleansing first, but like, is this the order? Like serum oils, like ease, you just like slather that all on, like all on top of one another. And that works.
00:17:33
Speaker
Cause I do. and be honest, I am a basic kind of girl when it comes to skincare routines, but yes, I cleanse my face morning and night. Um,
00:17:45
Speaker
In the evenings, I use a glow serum with hyaluronic acid in it. It's also by Skin Essex Organics. That's kind of a little bit to support anti-aging. It's to support a slight exfoliation and a nourishment of the skin.
00:17:58
Speaker
So in the evening, my cleanser, like glow serum, that's really it. And then in the morning, i do my cleanser. And then one of they've got a beautiful serums. The one I'm using right now is called Nourish.
00:18:11
Speaker
And it's also to support... you know, rehype. like You can actually feel like when I put it on my skin, my skin just sucks it right up. It's it's so great.
00:18:23
Speaker
I literally love that. It's just for me. And I like that too, because honestly, I hate strict rules. Remember like the infomercials when we were like in the nineties and these things would come in like bags. they would like step one, cleanse, step two, tone. And like all these steps and like, we're just not, I'm just not going to do it. I'm not going to lie. I'm just, I'm not going to do it. We're busy.
00:18:43
Speaker
We're not going to do it, but I'm going to share with you what I do as well. And again, so going back to this 44 and 60. And I'm already like, Lord, what is 60 going to bring?
00:18:55
Speaker
Cause 44 brought me a basket of wrinkle and sagging eyelids. i So i' I've, I've started, so I just kind of pivoted to look for products that were more um targeted to mature skin. I like to say like vintage skin, but you know, they say mature skin.
00:19:17
Speaker
So I feel like I'm entering my mature skin era And, um, hydration is huge for my skin. So I have to say, I've been pretty, I've been pretty lucky.
00:19:27
Speaker
I've never been prone to acne. And let me tell you, just like you, Kim, you better believe I was estrogen dominant with the amount of milk and ice cream and ice caps with chocolate milk that I consumed on the daily.
00:19:40
Speaker
But I don't know. it It affected me in other ways, I'm sure. So I- Your skin does look glowing. I will say. I'm looking at Tanya.
00:19:52
Speaker
It's maybe my little glow up from switching my skincare routine. So I appreciate that. And like you, from yeah we're really paying attention to detoxification pathways, elimination, liver, all of that stuff. So I'm with you for that.
00:20:06
Speaker
And I'm also with you for um the red light therapy. Although, again, have I mentioned I don't have an infrared sauna, um but I do use infrared light on my face.
00:20:18
Speaker
And I've been doing that every other day for the past couple months. So hopefully that's helping. um So I found, like you, I found just this local company. They're actually in BC. They're not in Alberta. They're in Invermere, BC. And they're called Om Organics.
00:20:36
Speaker
I am obsessed. So that's where I'm at right now. and We'll link all of our, you know, all the companies in the show notes below. So you guys, you know, can see exactly what we're using, but here is my routine as well.
00:20:50
Speaker
So, um, I'll tell you what I do weekly. I use a mask weekly and it's the first time I've ever done this in my life. I've always had good intentions about using masks and like I'd use them once and then they, I would never use them again. Do you mask ever Kim? Do you use masks?
00:21:05
Speaker
I do. I do, but I'm super excited. Cause we talked about this earlier, Tanya showed me this mask and I'm like, you know what? You might've sold me. Yeah. yeah It sounds amazing.
00:21:18
Speaker
Okay. Officially unaffiliated, but officially in love. So this mask is called an adaptogen copper peptide. um And it says it's multitasking radiance mask. So maybe that's why I'm glowing.
00:21:31
Speaker
And Kim, like you, obviously researched the like curmudgeons to high heavens out of everything and Their stuff is like on average 88% to 100% organic and everything is natural

Daily Habits and Holistic Skincare

00:21:45
Speaker
and clean. They make it all on site in the small town of Invermere, BC. It's so quaint when you walk in there.
00:21:51
Speaker
but obviously I'm not always an infant mirror. I live several hours away. So ordering it online, but the mask is weekly for me now. And I also, um do a exfoliate, I exfoliate weekly.
00:22:05
Speaker
And honestly, Kim, I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to use this on my face, but we make our own rules. Um, have you heard of Rocky Mountain before? Rocky Mountain soap. It's like An Alberta company like, okay, so really big here again, it just opened, they just opened one in Toronto, actually, which was huge for them.
00:22:25
Speaker
So they have the cleanest products, everything is like 100% on the Yuka app, which we take with a little bit of a grain of salt, but that's a very good starting point indicator.
00:22:36
Speaker
So I use their exfoliant once a week. It has a lot of oil in it and it's a heavy exfoliation. So I do that on my body, but I started using it on my face because I'm so dry that works for me.
00:22:50
Speaker
So those are my once weekly. Don't ask me on the days. It's just, I'm like, oh I think it's been a week. Let me do that. Okay, Tanya, before you move on, i know somebody is probably listening going, what is the Yuka app?
00:23:02
Speaker
Yes. Okay. Good. Thank you, Kim. Good thing. So the Yuka app is this fun, there's a paid version, I think as well. I have the free version where you can download it onto your phone and it has like a little barcode um where you can scan barcode. So you can scan the UPC of products, beauty care products, and it literally comes up with every single ingredient, much like the EWG, and they're rated, and they're rated out of 100.
00:23:31
Speaker
So Rocky Mountain, for example, is 100 out of 100. And why I say this is a good starting point, which I'm sure you will agree, is nothing's perfect.
00:23:43
Speaker
And sometimes things that are marked as a moderate concern are an essential oil like, for example, orange, that can be an allergen for people with citrus allergies, but it's very good for everybody else. So yes, we'll put that in the notes as well. It's an amazing tool to be able to take a look at your... And this and one other point that I just like to make here is You know, i actually came from the luxury luxury industry and had a ton of different products that I used to use, some of which are still beautiful and wonderful.
00:24:18
Speaker
But I also had to kind of slowly change, like... change bit by bit. Some people can just go into their beauty bag and take every, remove everything that they want and rebuy, but others, you know, we want to do bit by bit.
00:24:35
Speaker
So just, just from a financial standpoint. So anyway, it's a great tool to use to kind of go through what your current inventory, your beauty products are and sort of see, you know, where they rate.
00:24:48
Speaker
I agree. And then exactly like you said, me too. I did not come from luxury beauty. I came from trucking, but I used very chemically products before that I slowly phased out. Exactly. So you see something, it's not as desirable. You finish it up and you know what I mean? You replace it with something different. Hopefully maybe one of the products we're talking about.
00:25:10
Speaker
So That's a once a week thing. So daily, here's what it looks like. um I'll wash my face and literally I will honestly either use a Rocky Mountain bar soap or um a cream cleanser. I like the Mad Hippie one.
00:25:27
Speaker
because it gives me a lot of moisture. Right after that, I am obsessed. This is new for me. Have you ever done like a hydration spray, Kim? Like, it's like, it doesn't say it's a toner. It literally is a hydration spray.
00:25:40
Speaker
And you spray it on your face. And then before it dries, you do ah you do an oil. And you can just, like you it like you said, you can just feel your skin. Because it has that layer. Yes.
00:25:50
Speaker
And I use one called Pink Coconut Hydration. So... It is so nice by Om. And then I do a prickly pear. I'm going to butcher this. I always butcher it. Prickly pear and shashandra.
00:26:02
Speaker
How do I say it? Shashandra. Thank you. It's one of those words for me. Shashandra oil um in the morning. And I follow that by a beautiful um cream for mature skin, colon squalene cream.
00:26:20
Speaker
I use ah bilberry eye cream. So all of these ingredients and Takuma, Am has taken these beautiful plants and really transformed them. And I'm such a plant person, like in my heart of hearts and transform them into nourishing things for your skin.

And it's just been amazing for me and for my body. i know we just talked face, but like, I have to tell you, as you know, lotion and my body, like I am,
00:26:48
Speaker
soft as a freaking, like, I don't even know, like a, so like silk because I have always had this obsession with moisturizing because it feels good for me.
00:26:58
Speaker
So I use, um, the attitude body lotion, which again, on the Yuka app is a hundred percent unscented. And I mix it in with an omega rich body oil, omegas.
00:27:09
Speaker
Um, from Rocky Mountain. So I'd like to point out, I'm really impressed. Have you ever transitioned or tried the attitude? They've really come a long way with their shampoos, conditioners, and the body lotion is bang for your buck. When you are moisturizing as much as me, you bang for your buck. So that's what I've using on my body. And in the summer when we get sun all over us, like yeah it's a great moisturizer.
00:27:39
Speaker
Yeah. And you can get it a lot of places. Whole Foods has it. I use the hand wash in my bathrooms. um And yeah, it's a great company and it's very reasonably priced as well.
00:27:51
Speaker
The only, the one thing I wanted to mention with everything we've sort of talked about is what I love about, you know, both of our routines is that it's essentially nourishing our skin, right? It's like food for our skin and all of the ingredients in there are getting absorbed by our skin and nourishing it.
00:28:13
Speaker
yeah That's exactly at You're right. We're putting, i guarantee you it probably would not taste good, but you're right. We could probably eat our, i' not we could probably like literally eat our facial creams and oils and they would taste disgusting, but it would like, it would not be toxic for us. you It would not be toxic. Yes. And we don't condone eating human skincare, but you're absolutely right. That's what we have to think about because honestly, we care so much about what goes in our mouth and we're looking at ingredients, or hopefully we all are looking at ingredients.
00:28:44
Speaker
We're looking at organic or pesticides or what's being sprayed or used on our food, but what's actually going into our skincare, what's going on our largest organ, which Tanya, you said in the very beginning.
00:28:55
Speaker
And again, I think we talked about it in the sunscreen episode. What happens with these toxins is they stay in our body and they actually go throughout our entire body system.
00:29:08
Speaker
You know, Tanya, you were referencing um studies that talked about the toxins in some sunscreens being found in breast milk. And the same goes for anything we put on our body topically and our skincare. So, um you know, i think we, we've, we sort of, we, we wanted to go here because we get all these questions about what we use.
00:29:31
Speaker
um But

Aging Gracefully and Conclusion

00:29:32
Speaker
I think the message in this one to everybody is really look at nourishing your skin from the inside out first. Let's talk thinking about hydration, thinking about sweating and detoxification, thinking about getting those healthy fats in your diet and making sure that we have well-balanced nutrient banks, to use your term, Tanya, from one of our earlier episodes, making sure all of our vitamins and minerals, um and then looking at topically what we put on our skin and if it's
00:30:06
Speaker
if it's nourishing our skin or if it's stripping our skin from nourishing nourishment i love it because let's be honest old me eating mcdonald's at least three times a week coffee all the time like all of this food i was putting into my body i could have had the best skin care regime do you think i would be glowing from within absolutely not so that's such a good way to put it we start from within And then what we're putting on our skin is that bonus. And it has to work together because why would we work so hard to support our organs of detox and elimination and eat all this beautiful food and sweat it out and do all of that stuff to then counterintuitive, put chemicals and crap on our skin and just shove it back in. It's like a push pull. It would be, it would counterintuitive, right? So like, it's like the inside,
00:31:01
Speaker
is the start, but it also works with what we're putting on the outside to get that glow up. And if I can stretch it all the way back before we go, this kind of fits in Kim to like our sole purpose of this show.
00:31:17
Speaker
I'm going to say it one more time. What does your future self look like? Does she age? Absolutely. Are her eyelids a little saggy? Yep. They are.
00:31:28
Speaker
Does she have laugh lines in the best way possible though? She does. But overall, you know what I mean? We know the difference between aging with that glow that I'm assuming most of us want to have. I want to have it as long as I can and aging, not so much with that glow. So, and where does that start today in the middle of summer nourishing our skin?
00:31:50
Speaker
End of story, man. Absolutely. End of story, end of episode. end of Thank you, Tanya. I think, you know, this was kind of like the tip of the iceberg, but we wanted to sort of get in here and sort of talk about what we do and some recommendations for you. But please reach out with any questions.
