last week's episode of The Fellowship of the Tabletop, we continued on our minecart journey, had the lovely serene views of Sleepguard as we took in and reproached and reflected on our journey so far in our adventures of Aerith in the land of Sleepguard, before three of these huge boned, winged, vicious creatures attacked the party, grabbing onto the side of the carts and trying to break the carts and attack the party.

Drago and Talu in the front cart with one of the four chain links attaching it to the main kind of joist of the pulley system broken. In the cart behind was Robin and Helena, who are currently being attacked by one of these creatures that has attached itself to the side of the cart. The third of these creatures is kind of off to the side, undamaged as far as we know. The one nearest to Drago and Talu at the front is very badly damaged after taking damage from most of the party, including now a flying folly fizzled by the ninth who casts chain lightning.

Halfway over, dangling 350 to 400 feet, depending on where he falls and lands. Above the ground, his shield, his left arm slipped, and he had started his descent, his freefall towards the ground, an impending doom.

It is their turn now and the first thing that's going to happen is the creature that is currently not in combat with either of you is going to reach one of its arms, its massive claws out and kind of point it towards the other two and you see this black jet

head towards the other two creatures. And what you notice is these creatures seem to take on a repaired state. The one that's been incredibly damaged, its left wing is brought into repair again. It's more usable as it seems to gain a bit of energy. The creature that's attacking Helena seems to its wounds, its artificial wounds on its shoulders and face seem to recover slightly.

This creature is taking a beeline towards Karstan and it's going to use its dash action as well to attach itself onto the side of Karstan's cart furthest away and it grabs onto the corner of the cart there.

creature that's closest to Drago and Tali, it's going to firstly use its stinger as these creatures have two massive claws, if you remember. Bone wings, massive kind of part mosquito, part demon, but just bone. It's going to take its massive kind of pincer claw that's like a scorpion-esque attack against, like it did last time, against the actual chain link fence itself. Ah, it's gonna get a 10, which, okay, meets it beats. I got a really low AC for this.

Yep, that's gonna do enough. It's gonna cause another corner of this cart to break. So now two of, one of these is broken. Drag, you start to really feel the weight as you start to hold on to the chain link in the top of the fence. Sorry, the chain link at the top of the cart. Now one of these corners is broken, closest to Tali. Tali loses her footing slightly, but manages to stay on her feet and move back slightly away from this creature. It's then going to use its claws to try and slash out towards Tali.

The first one is going to make contact and it's going to hit her across the chest causing a bit of damage. The second one is going to miss. Tali does not look in good shape at the moment. She's got like a big cut over her right shoulder which is bleeding quite badly as she screams out in agony.

The creature that's currently attached to the cart with Helena and Robin, it's going to do something similar. It's going to use its stinger to try and attack the cart to begin with. Yep, that's going to be enough damage for that one, causing that corner of the cart to fall. You run three corners there on that cart. The last creature that's close to the cart stand used its dash action to get onto the cart and therefore is unable to do anything else. And that's the end of their turn. I think quite a good bit of damage is on that turn.

And just as this creature comes away, she literally doesn't have anything to hand because she just swings her satchel with her dad's spell book at this creature's face. And it just so happens to catch the creature as the force damage and the arrow damage hits into the creature. As it starts to move back, she catches the head of this creature, knocking the head off.

So just as I've hit it with the last one, the final one, the one before this one, I've took a deep breath and I've just gone back in for the first hit and I've gone up a cut with the left hand, with the left hand, because that's the hand she's good in, get proficient in, and she hits up a cut and just completely whacks off this head, slices it clean off, and it bubbles down, she can see it falling.

and hopefully not with Claude. And similarly, the body falls limp and the wings fall limp as the creature falls before hitting the ground in approximately six or seven seconds time. Really awesome work. Thank you, Helena, for that as I kill time to find roll 20. There we are. The creature is gone. There is only one remaining. We have the most of the party up to the north, but we have a flying Claude with a cast head on his back in battle with the last one that seemed to have taken this amount of damage.
