I was just like, ah i grew up in New York and I was singing and dancing all the time from when I was like two and i In my hometown, in my little area, they had a dancing school and I just took lessons and loved it. And then eventually a manager came in and would scout and look for the kids who, you know, really wanted to pursue a professional career.

And somehow they called me in to interview for a movie called Sleepaway Count. And I was 12 at the time when I auditioned. I met the director, Robert Hilsick.

And, you know, it was a great audition and a wonderful experience. And now it's been a beautiful and incredible adventure with the horror community.

And the thing is, it we don't revolve our entire show around the horror community. Like we we started this show and and Mark was like, well, what kind of content do we wanna provide to people?

I feel like Sleepaway Camp is one of those films that sort of grew with time and became more relevant with time. I think the social commentary on the film is even greater today for conversation and opens itself up to you know, great um chats at screenings that I have and at conventions, but certainly it's accrued an audience over the years. And I'm so thankful to people like Joe Bob Briggs, Rhonda Shear, Dead Meat James, because they've all given it a lot of love and a lot of light and it's and an audience has seen it because of them.

They're they're indie producers, indie actors and whatnot too there.

um do you Do you ever have any advice for those folks that are just now coming up in the um I mean, the only advice I would ever give to anyone, and this is because I was just saying, I have three kids. They're 16, 18, 20. And it's sort of a general blanket of advice to just really dream big and um do what makes your heart happy.

And, um you know, it's so fun because you are using your own imagination and creating what makes you feel good and what the stories you believe in. So they write the scripts and we get together and we make it happen. And it's like just meeting up with friends and having a good time on set.

First of all, it's not a kid business. um I really believe that it's harder. It's hard on young people because it's an adult. and it it's not It's not the amazing adult industry. It's adult in that when you're young, like when I was 13, I was treated like I was you know an adult, an older person, a mature person, and you're not. So it's it's sort of hard line to figure out like, Okay, who am I? What what am I doing here? and um But I just tell them, just like I said to you, do what makes you happy. And they're all in completely in various different lanes. So I'm thrilled. Two are in college. My older girls are in college and my son is still in
