Setting the Tone with Humor

Callum. Hey, we have decided I can laugh now. I'm not bothered. So I was literally about to go. I was building up the energy. I'm even standing like that. Well, it's kind of your fault for fannying while we laughed at you.
Podcast Introduction: Fellowship of the Tabletop
00:00:51
Speaker
Hello everyone and welcome to this week's episode of the Fellowship of the Tabletop Bellum Draconis. We are a live play 5e D&D podcast set in the magical homebrew world of Aerith in the Kingdom of Sleepguard. My name is Mark and I am the Dungeon Master. And also with us for this week's Goblin Adventure episode, we have Callum who plays the Goblin Musk. We've got Casey who plays the Goblin, good boy. Yummy yummy.
00:01:15
Speaker
We've got James who plays the Goblin Doric. I'm surrounded by idiots. Darren who plays the Halfling Bluey. I play the Halfling Bluey, that is what I do. But Sarah who plays the Goblin Growner. Let's poo this time please.
00:01:33
Speaker
Yes, please, please, please. Unless we get sponsored by Durex. Wait, no. Durex? Durex! Durex! No! Jesus! And eggs. And eggs. Jesus. That's a whole different kind of podcast. Football, webcam. Is that all? Anyway. That's our non-native English listeners. Durex is a condom company.
00:01:56
Speaker
Yes, that's my faux pas. But, you know, which leads us to our OnlyFans page where, you know, Callum... Anyway, so last week's... You could follow us all at Callum's big dong. Well, gosh. No. You keep you and your dong in your... What happened last
Recap of Previous Adventures
00:02:11
Speaker
week? Thank you for asking, Darren. What happened last week was we went upstairs in Hesselthorpe Manor and came across a number of rooms where we started to unravel the story.
00:02:20
Speaker
of the fall of Hesselthorpe Manor. We learnt some of the lady of the house and her attempts to remove her family from the dangers of her husband, Lord Hesselthorpe. We also interceded some of the notes of the experiments, seeing that he was experimenting on his family, trying to make them live forever, or indeed make himself live forever.
00:02:40
Speaker
The final theory experiments was a forlorn and harrowing experiment that Lord Hasselthorpe performed on himself. An almost self-flagellatory attack upon himself where he cursed himself. The procedure was a success. He does live for eternity, allegedly. However, the guilt and horror of what he has done
00:03:09
Speaker
stays. The party left themselves in a room of mirrors with one of the semi surviving members of the Hasselthorpe house, the young master Theodore who lays face up on the floor with a thin layer of dust upon him, eyes open, eyes moving, but as we learn from the experiment log it's in constant pain and suffering and the experiment was deemed an ethical failure.
00:03:34
Speaker
We were having a short rest, which had been pushed by Bluey for the entire hour, 10 minute episode, and finally was given into, given the state of things.
Strategizing in the Room of Mirrors
00:03:45
Speaker
I'd like to stress, I don't need it. Callum. Yeah, I know. There was only one character that needed it, but yeah.
00:03:53
Speaker
So we are now, are you back up to full health now, is that right? Oh, hell yeah, I took my short rest, I rolled all my Hitler, I'm ready, I'm ready to go. Excellent, cool, cool, cool. So we're gonna kind of skip over the short rest if that's hunky dory with everyone else to kind of say we're up in our room of mirrors, so wonderful, not at all weird room of mirrors. Grown out, I know you didn't want to rest at all through this process. Can I just say during the rest I would like to be
00:04:21
Speaker
keeping as much of a watch as possible. I don't know what that entails. I don't know whether I would actually go outside the door. I feel like that would be a bad idea. I'll just sit like just inside the door kind of like ready to do anything if anyone comes in.
00:04:40
Speaker
Awesome, okay, and we'll give you that watch for the time whilst Musk recovers. Musk, you recover, of course, any other spell slots, et cetera, again, replenished if you relied them, depending on your class, and we're kind of up and rowing to go. The blanket is returned to Bluey after your stroke, stroking, not you didn't have a stroke, after you were speaking, but only to be left. Keep it, keep it, keep it, keep it, keep it, keep it. Thank you. I had a wonderful dream where I was killing spiders.
00:05:13
Speaker
Anyway, and you're ready to move on. You're ready to continue your trope through the mansion, through the manor. What is it that you would like to do?
Moral Dilemmas: To Attack or Not?
00:05:23
Speaker
I have a feeling I know what you're going to do, but what do you want to do? I'll take down my kegs and have a shit. We're going to go back downstairs. I'm going back to the pool. Fantastic.
00:05:45
Speaker
So what's happened while I've been asleep? Well, this poor soul is trapped and I suppose we should put a stop to this. Do you want me to, you know, kill? Smash? No, not him. I think the one that's done this is the one we have to kill.
00:06:12
Speaker
Are you sure? Because if I kill him, I could get some temporary hit points. Surely even you goblin can draw the line at murdering a helpless child when we could save him. Oh! Oh, we could actually save him, can we? Well, I don't know, but we should at least try. Okay. Yes, that's a good idea, actually.
00:06:37
Speaker
My only slight worry was it said in his diary there that he had eternal life or something, did you know? So killing him might be slightly easier said than done. Yes, immortality, it was said,
Encounter with Lord Hasselthorpe
00:06:54
Speaker
That's a big word. Yes, I'm learning lots of them, Musk. Didn't you say that this blade would entrap... So what if we kill him with these? Because they do some form of entrapment. So yes, he may be eternal, but he will be trapped. I thought you said you didn't want to kill him. Make up your mind. No, not him. The one we're here to kill.
00:07:19
Speaker
It looks like these have been left by someone who may have come here before us to try and do the deed and perhaps what we're supposed to do with these is use these to kill him because yes as you say growing up he is immortal but we could trap him perhaps. How do you know that's what the the shiny things do? Mask was talking in his sleep and said it. Did I?
00:07:46
Speaker
You're clever too, Musk. I'm very clever. How does Musk know? I don't know. I thought they were a fancy knife. I like to think that Musk, when he talks, realises in his dreams he's in a D&D game and talks in the D&D's hats. The side does 1D12 damage. I'm talking in tongues. Musk is talking in tongues again.
00:08:13
Speaker
Ah, plus three to strengthen dexterity. If leather has advantages on leather, it's a much better form of armour you need with dexterity modifier. I'm afraid he does this a lot. Late armour is the optimum armour for the heavy armour where it is the most expensive. Proficient with that land vehicles for some strange reason. Anyways.
00:08:36
Speaker
Besides, from what I read, I think this Lord would welcome death. He seems ashamed of what he's done. Perhaps we can give him something that he thought was completely past what he had done. I don't know about you, but I'm doing this for Alpha! Yes, for Alpha! Not bothered about Mr. Necrohezlemancer.
00:09:05
Speaker
I'm just here for the ride. Ride? What kind of ride?
Humorous Interlude: Musk's Past
00:09:11
Speaker
Well, I could get on your back, Musk. We could do it together. OK. No, no, no, no. You've been injured quite a lot already. We shouldn't... I'm feeling a lot better. Yeah, so let's keep it that way. And I fell out of a tree not that long ago. Oh, yeah, you did. I was Australian, so...
00:09:34
Speaker
We've all had a journey. It's been a period of great growth. And I had it done. Doesn't that sum it all? So do we leave this room altogether? Yes, together. As a goblin group. Do we drag the body with us? No, I think we should leave him here for now.
00:10:04
Speaker
In the smoke? I suppose so. I think to save him... If it was harmless, we'd all be dead. We need to kill the other person. If it's harmful, we'd be dead. Okay. Well, then we can come... If you want to save him, we can come back for him afterwards. Yeah. Then I can kick him out of my house. Yes. He's not paying you anything, is he? So, you may as well. No. He's very behind on his rent.
00:10:35
Speaker
How do you know what rent is? Because I got charged for living under a rock with somebody. And he kept calling it rent. Anyway... Before we go into how you pay him and what he was constituting is rent, I'm with Growner, let's go. Right, thank you. Before we get any deeper into Musk's past, which we'll know anything about. The less said about the past of Musk, the better.
00:11:05
Speaker
That's a whole different D&D campaign. He's seen and done many things that he's not proud of. That is a D&D campaign that would be on OnlyFans, let's be honest. I want it. So, I'm in Expedia things, you can't slow me down bitches. So, you take the next door.
Facing the Demonic Statue
00:11:21
Speaker
You head on in and it is empty. The room is empty, except for this fog that lingers similar to the previous room in two patches, one at the close end, one at the far end. In the center of the space is a large stone statue that sits on a plinth, a series of ornate candles surrounded on the floor, giving it an otherworldly aura.
00:11:46
Speaker
The statue is of some kind of demonic being. It has long, large wings, long teeth, and eyes that seem to bore into you and almost seem to follow you like those paintings that follow your eyes no matter where you are, though this is a corporeal statue, a 3D statue. In the top left corner of the space seems to have been a workbench or work desk of some description. What instantly draws your eye is just behind the statue you can make out through the mist to figure.
00:12:16
Speaker
Six foot, six foot five. Large, corporeal, slightly transparent figure of an incredibly well-armored individual. Huge pauldrons of the shoulders that tip and flare out at the end. Large breastplate, thick chain male sits underneath it.
00:12:42
Speaker
And what can only be described, and I don't know what your goblin Kim would know this as, but for you guys to understand, can only be described as a kind of a reinforced fencing mask sits across the face, obscuring the view of the face stands, but seems to be without a weapon at the moment. Just standing perfectly still as you enter the room and the flicker of candles, give the figure of the demonic statue in the center, a sense of movement. What do you want to do?
00:13:15
Speaker
Hello! Oh, I think this is the bad man. Oh! What do we do? Oh, Mr Bard, what do we do?
Battle Preparation: Rolling for Initiative
00:13:28
Speaker
I'm afraid I request to think of anything I consider a good plan right now. Has he reacted at all to us walking in? Not as you can see, no, he's still mad at me still.
00:13:47
Speaker
Do I just go and say hello? I don't think it's the time for talking. So, shall I hit him instead? No, perhaps we need to address him by his proper title. You know, how some of these highborns can be. Over to you, then. What was his title? He was a lord. Lord... Rossdale. Rossdale? Hasselthorpe. Hasselthorpe.
00:14:17
Speaker
Did you get rough now? What way on earth did that card come from? From one of your dumps, I guess. While this is happening, Bluey, you've drawn an arrow for a short bow. Yeah, Doric's going to clear his throat, and he's just going to announce loudly, Lord Hasselworpe!
00:14:43
Speaker
The voice travels across the room, dead and slightly by the thick dusty smoke that seems to envelop the space. And a voice feels like it's in your head because it enters through both ears. You know that your existence in this manner is but a fleeting moment. A mere interruption in the grand tapestry of my curse.
00:15:13
Speaker
You shall rise in agony. Lost in the maddening labyrinth of my creation. There is no escape.
00:15:24
Speaker
No reprieve from the darkness that looms over you. And then in that, this hand kind of gets drawn up and as it starts to come down, a long sword just kind of appears, corporeal appears in the hand, the right hand of this figure and it swings it down just across its body, back across itself, and then it's going to start moving forward to you with purpose. Could I please ask that everyone rolls initiative? Yes, you may. Oh, here's where we all die.
00:15:55
Speaker
Oh, you're kidding. You can't see that, but he rolled a natural one. He falls over. And we've done very well. We have done very well, I don't know what you did. Jesus Christ. Did anyone get... I mean, he got a natural one, so you're all going to be better than him. Did anyone get 20 or more? I got 20. I did. I got 21. 21. 20. 20. So it's going to go Musk.
00:16:25
Speaker
Godboy, which is hilarious. Sprigging to action. 15 to 20. Doric rolled a 19. Bluey rolled a 16. What did you get? Five. I rolled a two. Oh no. And then we've got LH. At least it's before him.
00:16:53
Speaker
All right, top of the round, Musk. You've all walked into the far end of this room. The room stretches up 30, 40, 50, 60 feet in length ahead of you. This creature, this ghostly spectre, is at the other end of the room. In the center of the room, as I mentioned, there's about a 20-foot area you can't get to where this demonic statue is. And there are lit candles on the floor all around it, which might cause difficulty if trying to walk across them.
00:17:17
Speaker
space either side you're looking at 10 feet one side 15 foot the other side in order to get around he's more on the larger side of the 15 foot area which is to your right okay and that's kind of where he is in the room
00:17:29
Speaker
You're all in a line as you kind of scooby-dooed into the room. I've got Doric, followed by Growner, followed by Bluey, Godboy, Musk, just a random order. No one said the order you're going in, so I picked it for you. So that's why we're all kind of are in a line, the furthest possible place almost away from him. You could move back 10 feet-ish to back yourself up against the wall to give yourself a little bit more distance, but you're looking at 10, 20.
00:17:54
Speaker
60 about 50 feet away at the moment in order to to get into kind of close combat range with this person at the moment musk over to you what do you want to do what musk is going to do you're going to look at all these goblins and bluey
00:18:11
Speaker
It's fine. I'm going to do this. I've had a nap. And he's going to walk a few steps forward. And his wrist gauntlets are going to start to glow. And you see like a runic symbol on him. And this teeny tiny little goblin is just going to start to get chunkier and bigger. And he's going to cast, well, I say cast, he's going to kind of activate giant's might. So the goblin is now large. And in charge. You're a rune knight. I'm a rune knight.
00:18:39
Speaker
I don't even know what that is. I didn't know you were that. Anyway, cool. No, it's fine. Fair enough. I never asked.
Musk's Transformation and Attack
00:18:47
Speaker
I've not used anything from this feature yet, I believe. So now I'm a great big hulking goblin that's kind of given a bit of cover to everybody else. And I'm going to walk forward. And did you say there's a big stone statue in the middle of it? Yes, some kind of demonic demon creature.
00:19:09
Speaker
Is it a creature or is it a statue? It is a statue of a creature. Okay. I'm going to swing up the statue then. Okay, roll to hit. See if I can whack it. While Callum is doing that for Sarah and our listeners, Rune Knight is a subclass of Fighter that was produced in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. Wizard of the Sword Coast. Knowledge is power. To hit was 22.
00:19:40
Speaker
Yep, hits. Roll your damage against this statue. Yep, I ended up doing 15 points of... What kind of damage is it with a scythe? Slashing damage? Piercing damage. Yeah, slashing damage. The scythe. Oh, of course, it's a scythe, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. Yes. So, slashing damage. Yeah, nice. You smash through this statue. Dust rubble fills the air as the statue crumbles to the ground.
00:20:09
Speaker
Oh, sorry. I totally missed you attacking the statue and not the... Yeah, I was attacking the statue. Okay. Yeah. The... You... Yeah, okay. Yeah. Something... You feel a little tickly in your tummy, but I think that's what happens at the moment.
00:20:24
Speaker
Oh, Lord, I've done something really bad. Oh, God, you just used hell. Just destroy the demonic statue in the middle of a mansion that's full of evil shit, and you thought, oh, just hit the thing that they're obviously revering this going. This was supposed to be one of those, like, rampage things where there's a target at the end, but I was going to destroy everything in my way in order to get towards it. That was the intention. Clearly, and I've
00:20:50
Speaker
killed Musk in some way, shape or form. I've done goofed. I've done goofed. But that's the end of my turn anyway. Thank you very much. Good boy. Musk has gone up and attacked the statue, not the not the spectral Lord Hasselthorpe. What do you want to do? Godboy is going to get his hand axe out and he's going to lob it across the room at this thing. Not the statue at the talking
00:21:19
Speaker
thing. Okay, it is 50 feet away from you. Okay. Yeah, I'm going to have to move closer then. I have 20, the range of my hand axe is 20 feet. So I'm going to have to move quite a bit closer. So you can move 30 feet forward and kind of a diagonal angle. So you can see him straight past the statue. And then you are within range of your hand axe. Cool. Cause I've got 30 feet of movement. So I'll take all of my movement and then I shall love my hand axe.
00:21:49
Speaker
Okay, roll to hit. 11. Parry's hit. The axe falls harmlessly on the floor next to him. Well, shit. Any of the others you want to do? No. Okay, lovely. Doric, who's just seen two of the more questionable goblins step forward and attempt things. One attack the statue, one other attack parried. What would you like to do?
00:22:19
Speaker
Doric takes a moment to compose himself as C goes, and then he goes, listen to me, Musk. Do you remember the old legends we used to tell? Big Gob the Green Giant. Prepare for legend incarnate. And Doric is going to cast a second level spell and large reduce on our already big goblin. He's about to get even bigger. He's now huge. I'm going huge, baby.
00:22:48
Speaker
Fuck. Shit. So, okay. What is that? What size is huge? I think it's somewhere around between 15 feet tall. Yeah. I think we need to enlarge your figure on here. Then I think I need to be big. Yeah.
00:23:04
Speaker
That adds something to your attack, doesn't it, once you've hit? Yes, for any attack he makes, he gets to add an extra d4 with the damage. It also gives him advantage on strength checks, but I believe he already has that. I do, and just for clarification as well, my use of Giant's Might also gives me an extra 1d6 damage.
00:23:24
Speaker
shit right okay right how high is the ceiling in this room yeah i was just about to explain that actually yeah and how tall do you get because we're looking at this as a large i'm on it i'm just looking at what constitutes large give me one second well it's not large we're going for it's huge he's already gone i think no did he go from small to medium he'll go from small to medium to huge won't
00:23:43
Speaker
No, no, no, the wording of Giants might, if you are smaller than large, you become large. Okay, so yeah, I'm small to large and then to huge, which I think it's a 15 feet. So just for, yeah, he's now 15 by 15 feet.
00:23:59
Speaker
Why is 15 wide as well? I'm a weird looking goblin. It's a large space. I was going to give you room for stuff as well. So it's a 20 foot high ceiling. You're going to struggle to swing your scythe, which is now gargantuan.
00:24:17
Speaker
Above your head without twatting into the ceiling and the ceiling collapsing upon you But you could swing kind of sideways on your reach I'm gonna say is expanded as well by 15 feet. So 15 feet away you can You can hit this creature as well. You've got 50 feet of reach for that as well Christa cool. Okay. Anything else you want to do Doric as you continue to Make him bigger
00:24:44
Speaker
I will expend the use of my bardic inspiration and give it to Godboy. Godboy's got bardic inspiration. Godboy, do not fear. That is but one attack. Try again. I have faith in you. Fabulous. Bluey, you now see this absolutely fucking giant goblin in front of you. That's kind of all that's in your mind right now. What do you want to do?
00:25:11
Speaker
Bluey is going to take a bonus action to try and hide on a stealth check and he's going to run up and try and hide so he's behind and under the legs of Musk. Okay, roll your stealth tip, please. The stealth checks are 23. Again, you don't have to tell me whether that's successful or not. Oh, I know, don't worry.
00:25:34
Speaker
Thank you. And he also wants to do... Yes. Now, because he's so tall, I'm assuming, Bluey, he's 15 foot wide, there is a clear gap between Musk's legs. Yeah. I'm going to try and shoot him with my shortbow. Shoot who? The bad guy. Okay, cool. I thought, because you were talking about Musk's between Musk's legs, and I thought maybe you were just going to do a pot shot. Yeah, he'll turn. Yeah, finally.
00:26:03
Speaker
That is a 13 to hit, I roll a 7. Misses.
00:26:10
Speaker
Wait, what do you fire with? Is it a crossbow? Shortbow. Shortbow, sorry. Yeah, the shot just probably a little bit misses. Maybe you're still shocked at the size of this musk and it's just, it's thrown you off a little bit at the moment, okay? Anything else you want to do, Bluey? Yeah, I'm really, really pleased that we all had like a round on him where we've made such good use of that. Well done, gang. It's all on you growing up. It ain't on me. I'll tell you that now.
00:26:39
Speaker
I am going to basically get as far away from him as possible. Is there any sort of overturned furniture or something I can...
00:26:49
Speaker
take cover behind that's as far away in the corner as is possible. Unfortunately, the only furniture in the room is at his end and it's an overturned desk table set up kind of. I've forgotten the word for it now. No, it's gone. At his end of the room, at your end, it's totally empty. This seems to have been the room that everything was emptied from and bungled into the mirror room you were previously in. So unfortunately, there isn't anything you can hide behind at this end.
00:27:18
Speaker
Okay, I'm just gonna like back up as much as possible and try and if there's any kind of dark shadowed area, go to that bit, but I ain't going towards his end to hide. And then I will try. There's some darkness there. Cool. I'll try an Eldritch Blast. All right, roll to hit. It's an 11, which is why I said it ain't up to me. Oh no. What a good first round, God bless. His turn.
00:27:50
Speaker
Firstly, he is going to have a round action and his round action is Ethereal Step, where he can teleport up to 30 feet as a bonus action.
00:28:01
Speaker
So he is going to kind of flicker out of view for a second and then appear in and amongst just behind the back right shoulder of, he's quite, he's large as well, he's the largest size. That's why he looks bigger than you guys. He is sat just behind Gobbo, Goboy sorry, just behind Musk and in and amongst where Bluey is as well. He's still about 10, 15 feet away from Doric and about 30 feet away from Grona.
00:28:31
Speaker
He's then going to swing at the biggest threat, which is this giant goblin. Hello. I'm sorry. That's going to be a 23 against your AC. Yeah, that does indeed hit. I assumed as much. 10 points of the necrotic damage. 10 points of necrotic damage.
00:28:55
Speaker
That's perfectly fine. Thank you. And that's its turn. That's all it's going to do. It's going to stand there. You still can't see any facial expressions, nothing at all. That's the end of his first turn. Musk, back up to you. You've just been attacked from the, going to go right flank. What would you like to do? Yeah, basically the damage that's gone from the right, you're going to kind of quickly turn round, but it's really like big hulking goblins.
Battle with Lord Hasselthorpe
00:29:22
Speaker
Gonna see it in front of me in front of himself at this stage Big gobo smash And I'm gonna try and attack with a side swipe Of the rapier nice rod it 21 to hit yes, that does hit okay, I'm going to
00:29:51
Speaker
As the scythe comes by and starts to connect with it, the energy from these gauntlets that have also grown bigger with musk start to glow again. And I'm going to put on my fire rune before it as well. So lots of damage hopefully about to happen. Let's do it. That's... Christ, how the hell do I work this out?
00:30:19
Speaker
your character dude yeah it's 17 points of damage Jesus can I just stress that's your that's that's that's highlighted red on that's not that's your that's the minimum damage you can roll from that the minimum damage yeah it's 17 points of damage oh actually another plus my modifier which I've not put on so that's actually 23 points of damage and eight of those points of fire damage
00:30:48
Speaker
Just in case it does matter and can you make a strength saving throw? I? Can try? ruin night I Look 20 unnatural damn okay that nothing happens you kind of there's almost like a whisper that seems to appear Whisper fire that appears around him, but this kind of flickers out as it tries to wrap around a big spectral nasty
00:31:16
Speaker
Very nice, very nice. Anything else you want to do? No, no, that is it. Lovely, moving on. God boy, he's behind you. What do you want to do? Oh, I think Casey's muted. I don't know what you're saying, Casey.
00:31:35
Speaker
Okay, so Godboy's going to get his club instead of his hand axe. Again, I think because his hand axe is on the floor, he doesn't have enough space to go and run and pick it up. So he's going to whack out his club and smash, hopefully, the demon creature in franchise. Are you sure of it with bardic inspiration? Yes, thank you very much. All right, roll to hit. So does the meta pigeon.
00:32:05
Speaker
The spectral night shoots the metapidge. 12 is what I got. You think you're getting this creature, but it just passes straight through. This obviously is some part of the spectral wispiness around it. You think you're catching part of it, but it just goes straight through like dust. You miss. Oh no. Oh boy. Doric, it's not going well so far. What do you want to do?
00:32:37
Speaker
We're going to go nice and simple with this round. Can I ask you to make a Wisdom saving throw? But of course I can try. So sorry, that's a natural 20. Then that's a pass. The vicious mockery doesn't seem to fill in with any sort of dread or anger. Would make sense, would make sense. Very sorry for that, guys. I'm rolling very well. This does not bode well for you. Anything else, Dark? That's all you can do for this turn.
00:33:04
Speaker
Alright, not a problem. Thank you very much. Bluey, over to you. Nothing seems to be going well particularly so far apart from this giant goblin. Yeah, Bluey is just going to come forward, draw the scythe himself. It's going to just get level so he's got flanking with Godboy and it's just going to take a swing at this creature. Is it advantage with flanking? Yes. Wonderful.
00:33:34
Speaker
You'd think you'd do it, so the big nasty man actually could get advantage, but okay. As in me, the big nasty goblin. The knight shoots again another round at the spectral pigeon of methanos. That is a 24 to hit. That hits. And I can apply sneak attack, for I have advantage. You can indeed, the gloriousness of being a thief. Rogie, Rogie boy.
00:34:04
Speaker
Okay, it takes, is it a plus one to damage as well or just plus one to hit? I've been doing it just plus one to attack. And damage, yeah. And damage. Wonderful. It takes 15 points of magical piercing damage. Slashing. Yes, it does lip.
00:34:26
Speaker
Oh, it says piercing on mine. Because we've got it set as rapier. Ah, of course. But we drew it in like a scythe. Exactly. Cool. OK, very nice. Second thing he does, he is going to take a step back. He's going to use the bonus action to disengage. He's just going to back into the room and just side up this creature as he ends up alongside Grona, to the end of my term loop.
00:34:51
Speaker
Thank you very much. And what you notice as you gouge through this creature, it does take damage. You can see the moonlight-esque armor that this creature wears start to crumble and fall away like dust from bits of it where the head to the side made contact. Very nice. Thank you very much. Bluey, Grona, background to you. You're in the corner of the room in a little bit of shadow. Bluey's backed up next to you after taking a chunk out of this dude. What do you want to do?
00:35:19
Speaker
Is the spectral knight within 30 feet of me? I think he is. Yes. I'm going to hold my amulet and go, I think we need the big guns here, Gaz. And can you please make a constitution save things, though? Bring out the big guns. I can try. 16. Well, then nothing happens.
00:35:47
Speaker
holding really well. I think, uh, yeah, nothing happens. There's not even half anything. So, um, yeah, that, uh, a very, uh, anticlimactic turn. I don't even think I'm going to move anything. I'm going to just kind of look at Bluey and be like, well, this isn't going well, is it? What did you try to do, just out of curiosity?
00:36:15
Speaker
I was trying to blind it. That would have been nice. It would have been nice, but sadly, Mark is rolling really well. It's no fun when the DM rolls well. Right, it's his turn now, the Spectral Knight figure. He firstly is going to take a swing at the... This one has Godboy.
00:36:42
Speaker
No, he's not. No, no, you missed. He's going to swing at Musk again because Musk did damage to him. He's going to swing back at him. That is a 17 against your AC. That hits. I'm going to activate my cloud rune on this stage, which is a reaction where basically I can... I like to think of it like he's swung at me and I've kind of got the scythe up and I've deflected it.
00:37:11
Speaker
I can basically, I'm really sorry because there's nobody else in there but I'm trying to conserve my hit points. I can basically deflect that attack to somebody else. I can do it within 30 feet. Is Bluey within 30 feet?
00:37:28
Speaker
Yes. I'm gonna aim it Bluey's way just because he's not a goblin. Five points of necrotic damage comes shooting across through this weird kind of almost like fog-like whisper that joins suddenly between musk and Bluey as the damage is reciprocated and passed from one tether, tether. And you feel this like in you, there's no like physical scars or anything Bluey, like part of your interior seems to die away slightly as you take that damage.
00:37:57
Speaker
Anything else you want to do? Straight up, straight up attack, Bluey. It was my turn, isn't it? It was my turn. You'll hear most girls go, oopsie! Round two, his turn, he stands there after taking the attack and almost takes a deep breath in his shoulder. The large silver pole runs on his shoulders, lift up.
00:38:20
Speaker
I just see this big breath coming in and you just hear this wail. The sound come out which just kind of echoes through your head. It gives you like a splitting migraine for a few seconds. It's cast whale of the spot cast.
00:38:33
Speaker
round specific action whale of despair releases a bone chilling whale forcing all creatures within a 30 foot radius to make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened for one minute you can repeat the saving throw blah blah blah it's the usual etc and so that's going to be everyone because the furthest person away is groaner and we know you're within 30 feet so could i ask everyone please make a
00:38:58
Speaker
Whatever I just said, because I've already forgotten. Wisdom saving throw. Thank you. Wisdom saving throw, please. So let's start off with... Good boy. What'd you get? Big fat zero. You got it. Wow. You got a natural one, minus one. Minus one again. Oh dear. You got a zero. You had two of those. Chloe. I got an 11. You are not frightened. Grana. 18.
00:39:28
Speaker
You are not frightened. Doric. I rolled a two. You are very frightened. Musk. I got 15. You are not frightened, though that'll be hilarious to watch you try and run away, just hashing through these doorways. So those that are frightened, I'm pretty sure, and I should know this, but I'm pretty sure it involves you having to forcibly move yourself away from the object of your terror.
00:39:57
Speaker
at the, what was the wording of it? Just make sure I get this right. On, you can repeat your saving throw at the end of your turn, ending the effect on a success. So every round you can
00:40:12
Speaker
I'm sorry, just to be the will for a moment on this bit. When you are frightened, it's that you can't physically move close to the target, not necessarily that you have to move away. Sorry, it's me paying. Yeah, isn't there something where you have to use your turn to get as far away as possible? I thought there are some specific spells.
00:40:33
Speaker
Yes, because that happened to the spider against... There is some. Unless the spell reads differently of what Mark has got, the actual thing is you have disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls if you can see the creature that has frightened you and can't move closer to it. So they have disadvantage. Disadvantage. In a way they do. They can't... Look at the guy. Yes.
00:41:02
Speaker
so also does this just because it is probably worth knowing actually no no i'm not gonna ask i'm not gonna ask cool
00:41:12
Speaker
So, we are in a position where two of our characters are frightened, which obviously means you can't move any closer, blah blah blah. So, play with that, have fun with that. This thing is now, for all intents and purposes, the most terrifying thing you have ever looked upon. That's the end of its turn after the wail of despair. Musk back up to you. You are not frightened, but you felt a little tingle of fear. What would you like to do?
00:41:34
Speaker
I still think Musk would try and hide that tingle of fear and kind of certainly felt it almost kind of go through him over anything else. I'm still going to just kind of side swipe it with the scythe. Quite a mouthful of that one.
00:41:58
Speaker
That's a 13 to hit. That misses. You come down with the side down on the grind and it just steps out of the way whilst kind of making face to eye contact with you. Oh no. That's all I'm going to do. I'm going toe to toe with this thing all the way. Lovely. Go boy, your turn. So because I'm frightened, is it disadvantage?
00:42:23
Speaker
Yes. So, um, I am going to be, um, I mean, my knees are going to be shaking. My hands are going to be shaking. Um, and he, well, so yeah, gobo, gobo. He's still got his club in his hand and he's, he's going to still attempt to give this dude a knock. Um, but he's going to be doing it very, very, um, nervously. Right. Roll to hit with. Come on. Go boy.
00:42:51
Speaker
With disadvantage, can you still add the inspiration? Yeah, you can still add bardic inspiration. I rolled a natural 20, so I will not be adding inspiration. And I hate to be the thing you have to roll again because you are at disadvantage. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. You might roll an 18, it would still be good. I have got 18. Oh, wow. That was... What the hell? Yeah.
00:43:21
Speaker
James, get out of Casey's room. She's gonna hit him for seven points of damage. This is right, you can leave.
00:43:37
Speaker
Because I can only roll at 1d4. Wow, that's shit. It is a little, but at least he does it. With a success, Godboy is going to do a bit of a fist pump by hitting the other two. Could you also do another Wisdom saving throw because it's the end of your turn, you might be able to break the fear that you're currently feeling. Another Wisdom saving throw, please.
00:44:02
Speaker
It's still a zero. I've rolled a natural one again. I'm going from 20 to 1. A natural 20 to a natural one in three rolls. No problem. You're still frightened, though. Derek, your turn. You see, go by boinking on the schnoz. What do you want to do? I've always loved the phrase, boink on the schnoz. I just think it's fantastic. I've never heard of it before.
00:44:29
Speaker
Well, now you have boink on the schnoz. I believe on the nose. Boink! Like you boop. You can boop a poop. Yeah, I like the boop. I thought a boink was a shag, so, you know. You don't also mean that. No, I don't want to shag him in the nose. And he's a ghost, so he knows the corporeal being, an ethereal being, so it might not be particularly. Anyway, let's not get into ghost sex. Go! Doric, of course, is also under the frightened condition, so he's a...
00:44:59
Speaker
Legs are shaking. Knees quivering. He's there like, oh my, all right, I can do this. And what's again gonna ask you to have a quick giggle?
00:45:15
Speaker
What's it going to ask you to make a wisdom saving throw? The great thing is, I guess, that isn't with disadvantage on any part because I'm rolling. That is the beauty of it. It's not an ability check or an attack roll, so I don't know from the disadvantage. You have failed your wisdom saving throw and you have succumbed to the effects of the vicious mockery as Doric tries to
00:45:37
Speaker
get any sort of, like, grain of insult behind his lips, as all he can come up with is, like, in words of a great big gob, you suck! And this really hurts this Lord Hasselthorpe, apparently. I don't suck, you suck! He doesn't say that. How much damage does he... You take two?
00:46:04
Speaker
He takes two psychic damage hit points and he is going to roll a disadvantage on his next attack roll. Oh, nice. Okay. That may help massively right now. Excellent stuff. Doric, good stuff. Bluey, over to you. Oh, sorry to interrupt. Do I get to roll frightened? Oh yes, of course. Apologies. Yes, thank you for reminding me.
00:46:27
Speaker
Ooh, 21. Nice. You are no longer frightened. The chance that you could tap into the great words of Big Green Gob have almost fed into your soul and you're permeating your being and you feel brave again and you remember the stories of Big Green Gob and it all comes flooding back and, yeah, the effects of this continue on. Big Green Gob. I like it. Yeah, they should carry on Big Green Gob. This is canon now. This is canon. Thank you very much. And he eventually sells sweet corn to the masses.
00:46:55
Speaker
Ho, ho, ho. Green Goblin. Bluey, over to you. What would you like to do? Bluey, feeling the pain from the attack before he's had to recompose himself, runs forward, thrusts at this creature whilst in flanking with Musk and will then, once he's attempted the thrust, will just spin on his feet and pull ten feet back with the bonus action to disengage. But then we'll roll to hit first before doing so. Very nice.
00:47:27
Speaker
11. It misses, unfortunately, and you're unable to make contact with the hit. Do you still want to do the disengage? Yes. He's off to it as well. Lovely. Okay, that all works without a problem, but unfortunately you miss. Very sorry, very sorry, very sorry. Anything else you want to do, Bluey? Nope, I'm done. Okay, thank you very much. Grownout, your turn. You've just seen a cacophony of hits take place. Things are starting to work out. Spirits are being risen. What would you like to do?
00:47:55
Speaker
Can I ask, does Growner notice when Godboy hit it with a normal club? Did it seem like it hurt him? Give me a perception check. 18. What you recognise from your position in the corner is when the others attacked
00:48:23
Speaker
or when magical spells were used, you could see part of the armor start to disintegrate. When Godboy attacked with the club, you did not see that take place. You could assume from that what you wish to assume from that. That's what you've seen. Can I shout as a free action? Can I say something? Can I shout out to others? I think we need to do magical damage. Godboy, I don't think your club's doing much.
00:48:53
Speaker
And then I'll Eldritch Blast into its head. Nice, do it. Hit. 22 to hit. Yes, that does it. Finally. It's a reasonable low damage roll though, just five. What is force damage? Nice, it all counts, it all adds up eventually. He doesn't insult a man's club. I'm a boy. A gobbly.
00:49:22
Speaker
It's back down to our favourite ghosty boy at the time. He's going to use his round-specific move, which is Soul Brand Strike.
Spectral Knight's Special Moves
00:49:33
Speaker
The Specter Knight challenges his dark energy into his weapon, unleashing a devastating strike. He makes a middle weapon attack, and it's a bit more vicious. So I'm going to make my attack against the big, scary... Understandable. Please remember to roll it at disadvantage. Okay, that was a five.
00:49:51
Speaker
Oh, that's an 18, you're kidding. So I get 13 against your armor class. That is a massive jump, but no. It's a plus eight. For this attack, it's not, this is not his normal one. So that misses. And then he's going to give it its normal attack against you again. And that's again, it's a disadvantage. I think it's just one attack. Let me double check. I mean, either way, I rolled a four. So that's going to be 10, 10 against your AC. No, no, no. Yeah, it's getting worse.
00:50:20
Speaker
But just for confirmation, you're absolutely right. It only counts for the one melee hit. Cool. Or melee attack. Missed anyway, so two of these hits come flying in and somehow managed to miss this giant. Maybe you parry the first one with the side, and the second one just is a flat miss as he aims to go leg or something. And Vord surely has totally missed.
00:50:39
Speaker
All my good dice rolling has left me. I have to roll like shit. That is the end of his turn. Over to you guys. Musk's top of the round. What do you want to do? I am going to, surprise of all, just laugh in the first instance at this spectral being that just missed. And then I'm going to attempt to swing back with my scythe.
00:51:10
Speaker
Ooh, okay, that is very nice indeed. That is a 24 to hit. Yes, that does hit. Roll damage.
00:51:17
Speaker
and that will do 13 points of magical slashing damage. Very nice, very nice. The shot comes hammering and down across its breastplate, causing again some of the armour to fall away from itself. How much damage was it again? 13? 13 points of magical slashing damage, yes. Fabulous, thank you very much. Anything else you want to do, giant, giant mask? Yes, as of this.
00:51:46
Speaker
great big swipe from the scythe comes out one side he's gonna quickly flip it round and swing back against it i'm going to action surge and go for a second attack um for why the hell not oh no damn it um that was an 11 to hit that's gonna miss the shot the energy surging through your body the adrenaline just you see you go you aim for the right moment but it was too obvious and he parries the hit with his with his long sword ah anything else you want to do
00:52:16
Speaker
Now, that's it. Lovely win round 4. Very much into rage mode with this guy right now. Not a problem. Godboy, your turn. You do remember hearing what Grownage has shouted before Eldritch Blasting and doing a bit of damage to it. What do you want to do?
00:52:30
Speaker
Yeah. So upon hearing that, Godboy is going to put away his club and he's going to, um, cast Ray of Sickness. However, however, I know that I'm still frightened, so I'm not too sure how this, this is going to work. Um, cause I, I know that I would normally have to roll for, uh, roll with disadvantage. Um, but with the way of, you have to attack role.
00:52:58
Speaker
Yes. So what I need to do is, yes, an attack roll. No, I think I do. Yeah. Sorry. It would be with disadvantage. Okay. Fine. That's fine. Apologies. I got confused. All right. Fuck it. It doesn't really fucking matter anyway. It would be a three. It would be a lovely three.
00:53:23
Speaker
This is unfortunate. This green sickness comes out of your focus and it just falters as you try to make eye contact with this thing, but the fact that you're still frightened by it means you can't hold that gaze and it falters and fails. Okay, thank you. Can I roll my Wisdom Save again? You can indeed. That would be a four. Oh, Casey. Oh, Casey. Godboy is still frightened.
00:53:53
Speaker
Godboy's so shit at rolling, man. But Godboy's still there, fighting and swinging away. That's what I love. That is a hell of a character. I'm scared to death. I've hit you once and that was enough. I'm just going to keep going now. Godboy's just going to need a spa day after this. Cucumbers on his eyes. Nice mud bath. Doric, speaking of mud baths, your turn. What do you want to get up to? With my available movement,
00:54:23
Speaker
Are you going to allow me to climb up musk and sit on his shoulder? With your available movement, five, 10, 15, 20. It takes you 20 feet to get there. He's 15 feet high. Yes, in theory, I'm imagining his head is four foot big. So yeah, you could probably get to shoulder. You're going to be like, I imagine like tummy over the shoulder, like the kind of like fireman's carry position. You're not going to be sat or standing because that's going to treat that as time to stand up.
00:54:52
Speaker
But you can be like, yeah, like tummy over the shoulder looking down at this creature. Yes, in theory you can. But could you give me an athletics check, please? Completely understandable. I have no idea what is going to be coming from this. I'm being climbed. I'm not a mountain. Oh, no. I rolled a two. Mark's laugh there.
00:55:19
Speaker
You start to climb and just as you get yourself onto the shoulder and whoop, you're up, put your tummy on it. Musk who looks over at him and doing so, lowers his shoulder slightly to look at what is on his shoulder and he slips off.
00:55:34
Speaker
Hitting the ground. We're talking 15 feet. You are going to take a bit of damage here as well, unfortunately. This is concentration, so he'll need to roll a concentration check for enlarge as well. You take two points of falling damage and then you can make a check for your concentration, please. And I rolled a six, thank you, Darren. It's a con save. You've rolled constitution. It's a con save, not concentration. Yeah, that's what you do for concentration, right?
00:56:02
Speaker
You should have... It's a constitution saving throw. You've rolled constitution check. It's a different thing. Oh, yeah, you get morph. Oh, my bad. My absolute bad.
00:56:16
Speaker
That was a lot better, that's 21. 21 is better. Noom, noom, noom, noom, noom, noom, noom. Like the Mario eating the mushroom. I like to think there was a slight moment where he just kind of shrunk and it just boinged back up. Yep, I like it, I like it. Musky is basically lying on the floor like, no! My prize moment, Musk! You are prone as well, so you'll have to use half your movement to stand yourself up, unfortunately, at the next round. Nice try, though, I like where your mind's at, that's good shit. Anything else you want to do from the face-down position? You technically still have your action.
00:56:47
Speaker
So you could still do something if you have any other spell slots or anything else you want to partake upon. I'm trying to see if there's anything available. Godboy, you still haven't used your inspiration yet, have you? Then... Oh, I'm going to that for now. He'll flail in absolution. The key moment he had in his mind of climbing up the mighty giant and then bringing down the weapon on the enemy ended in abject failure.
00:57:14
Speaker
I mean, not to tell you what to do. You could use your action to dash and in doing so, give yourself movement again. That's perfectly okay then, yeah. Sure. The failing can somehow revolve in him picking himself back up. Maybe giving like a musk, just a very, yeah, not like an attempt of like damage, but just a very angry kick to the ankle.
00:57:40
Speaker
Are you kicking me? You knocked me off. You fell off. Well, cheeky. Right. Anyway, whilst these two lovebirds argue, Bluey, your turn. You've just seen Doric climb musk and then fall off and then I imagine kick and scream like a child for a minute and then grumpily stand back up again. What do you want to do?
00:57:56
Speaker
Yep, can I just check out me bringing out my inner Will by the way, firstly remembering the fact that he had to make a constitution saving throw, and then we met to remember to prompt him, he made the wrong check. I basically will. And I'm going to carry on. To answer your question Casey, unfortunately no. Artificers do not get to regenerate spell slots on short rests, it's long rests only.
00:58:17
Speaker
should know that one, shouldn't we, Callum? Yeah, we know that one. Imagine having an artificer in the campaign who just doesn't know the fundamental rule for playing an artificer like when the pistol breaks or something. Anyway, moving on. And not necessarily related solely to an artificer. So our temporary will, but fuck you.
00:58:34
Speaker
And also, it's not Christmas time, so can the claws please go away? No, they can't, because I'm going to try and embed them in the big bad. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to step forward again. He's going to thrust with the rapier once more before again, just spinning back. He's almost in some kind of fighting stance now where he just fights and thrusts. That's what she said. That's what she said.
00:59:04
Speaker
It's with advantage because of the flanking, so that can go away. Wait, it's a 15. 15 misses, unfortunately. I'm sorry. You're not sorry. Don't stop saying you're sorry. You're not scared. Right, you've got so much more to go. Right, very sorry. Not sorry. Grown out, your turn. You watch Blue Miss constantly. He's not very good at this. Kill him instead.
00:59:34
Speaker
Grana's gonna think this calls for a bit of a last-ditch effort and she's gonna run up to him, which I assume will basically use all my movement because he's third the way. Is there a position I can get in where I will have flanking? Yes, if you run directly forward towards him on your diagonal so you're in front of him, Godboy is the other side of you, Musk is to your left, here you are stuck in the middle with the
01:00:00
Speaker
I would like to attempt to hit him with my scythe. Yes. With advantage. Oh, balls. Nevermind. Twelve. What'd you get? Oh, no. Mrs. Hits the air. Nothing but, unfortunately. Can I shout? Come on, hit me, you bastard. Okay. You can indeed shout that. Not a problem. And it is his turn.
01:00:30
Speaker
His sword's going to lower down for a second as he looks round to the small goblin figure, his groaner. And then from the fence mask, which enshrouds his face, another corporeal being appears, and another one appears again.
01:00:54
Speaker
nearby these kind of shoot around the room a little bit and land around the space. What is just activated is call of the shadows summons two spectral minions to aid him in battle and fight alongside the spectral night. The first one
01:01:11
Speaker
appears, not on Doric, next to Doric and just behind Bluey's returned position. The second lands behind Musk, which yes, these baddies play a meta too. Both advantage because they are now flanking the giant Musk. He is then going to turn and hit Musk and not hit Grone. I didn't think he was.
01:01:37
Speaker
First one... Oh, second one is a natural 20, so you're gonna get that. God, I'm gonna die now. 13 points of necrotic damage. Oh my God. That was painful. That is the end of its turn. There are two additional creatures now in the space we need to deal with as well. That is the end of his turn. Musk, you are surrounded. There's one behind you, one in front of you. You can see the other one between Doric and Blue. What do you want to do?
01:02:09
Speaker
uh, weep, uh, in the first instance, I think. Okay. Roll to. I didn't even get to drop my trousers this time.
01:02:30
Speaker
Musk is not going to pay any heed or attention to the minion behind him. He's going to focus solely on the corporeal being that has been in front of him. And just going to, yeah, again, swing away with his scythe to keep trying to batter him down. All right, roll to hit. There's a 17 to hit. Hits. Yes, awesome damage.
01:02:58
Speaker
Okay, high damage, high damage. Okay, so that's 17, no, 23 points of magical slashing damage. I rolled really well on that. 23 points of magical slashing damage with the scythe S. You see a massive chunk of the fence mask come off and you can just see this one deep dark black eye looking back out now. You're doing some damage to it.
01:03:28
Speaker
I see you. Stop undermining my very strange action. I love it. Keep doing it. Anything else you want to do, Musk? No, no, that's it. I'm still staying put. I ain't going anywhere. Fabulous. Good boy. You just, you can now see the face of this creature. You are still terrified, but something about it seems more real now that you can make out its face. You are still frightened, however. What would you like to do? I'd like to infuse an item.
01:03:58
Speaker
It might be something you need to do as a... It's a special thing. It says, it says, whenever you finish a long rest, but I know that I haven't done it before. So surely I've always had this.
01:04:15
Speaker
I think it's something that needs to have been done. You kind of say, I'm going to do this through the long rest. Oh, for fuck's sake. Well, then I can actually, I can't do anything, I don't think, because I've got no other special, I've got no other magical items. What infused items do you have? I don't. I don't have anything. You've got the size, don't you? Yeah, but...
01:04:36
Speaker
Well, I do. That's not an infusion. Normally you know the infusion and then, yeah, after a long rest or something like that is when you'd actually infuse the item. Something you kind of like prepared like beforehand. Okay. Okay. So I can use the scythe then. Okay. Hell yeah.
01:04:57
Speaker
Yeah okay I'll use I'll use a cycle. Believe in Godboy. So I can I will I believe in Godboy. You have flanking so your disadvantage is negated. Okay so I just have to roll it once. Just one roll. Godboy, Godboy. So that's wait I'm going to add my inspiration. Okay cool roll a d6.
01:05:20
Speaker
I'm going to roll a D6. I'm going to roll a natural D6, as in from a manual D6, as I've said. Come on, come on, come on. 13. Misses. I'm lucky. Fuck. I can see there's very much in your eyes, Casey. Yeah, I mean, it'd be lovely to get hit, wouldn't it? We've all been through these fights where you attack and attack and attack and...
01:05:47
Speaker
for the love of no roles, can you do anything? It's a subclass because you must have something.
01:05:56
Speaker
What do you mean? You normally have spells. You'll either be an alchemist, you'll either be an armist like range, you'll either be an artillerist like alpha, or you won't be skilled defender. I think I'm an alchemist. Okay, between now and the next round, I'm going to go Tasha that and I'm going to read what you can do as an alchemist. Well, as an alchemist, if I remember correctly, you can make potions. These potions can have multiple effects. Yeah, I've got the book here. I'll have a look between and let you know what you can do. Okay. No worries.
01:06:26
Speaker
So, with that also could you make a wisdom saving throw to see if we can break this frightened and give you a bit of a break? This is the time. You can do it. You can break that frightened condition. That'll be a 9. Moving on, Bluey. No, Doric, sorry. Doric, down to you. Doric, Doric, Doric. Your turn. What would you like to do? If I can use a bit of my movement, can we technically flank this new spectre?
01:06:51
Speaker
between me and is that Bluey next? Yes, it is Bluey. Yes, you can do that. If you move to five feet to the south, you'd get in flanking. I'd perfect flanking with the two. Okay. Well, Doric will draw his scythe as he goes eye to eye with this spectra as he goes, Swodhark, a new challenger. And he's going to try and hit him. All right, Street Fighter.
01:07:18
Speaker
Oh, boy, it's my time for rubbish rolls, it seems. I rolled a six. Oh, guys, come on. Come on. No, unfortunately, that misses. That wasn't just a six, though. That was a natural one. Oh, was it? Wow. Oh, damn. Just in case the DM wants to put in some more crap like it already does to the rest of us. No, I won't. I'll just keep things moving for now. And because I like James more than the rest of you.
01:07:40
Speaker
So anything else you want to do, bonus actions, free actions? Well, with a free bardic inspiration, you know what? He's going to keep giving godboys that particular boost, possibly trying to help him to get up. So again, you will get a d6, so your usage when you want it. Thank you. As he draws on his breath, trying to wilt away any sort of doubting himself as he misses his attack, because he's like, godboy, please.
01:08:09
Speaker
You can do this. I really want Go Boy to get the finishing hit on this one. He deserves it. Lovely, thank you very much, Doric. Bluey, over to you. You've now got this dude whoop, just up here behind you and a nonstop stream of charismatic messages coming from Doric. What would you like to do?
01:08:32
Speaker
At blue he's going to immediately turn and thrust at the one that has just appeared next to him. Cool, you do get advantage because it's flank. It's fighting me. Come on, let's do this. Kill it off. With advantage, it's a 22 to hit. That hits. Roll your damage.
01:09:00
Speaker
Okay, for some reason it stopped coming through on D&D, on roll 20. Okay. However, it is for, it hasn't rolled my stage attack, one second. That's right. Add that stuff on, that's important. Let's have a D6, two D6.
01:09:23
Speaker
Don't be missing that. Okay, it takes eight points of piercing damage and then from the sneak attack it takes another further seven points. So it takes 17 points of damage total. 15. Sorry, yeah, sorry. 15. Okay. Not a problem. Massive hic I'm smashing out of this creature. The same kind of thing happens. It was 17. It's all just popped through. It was 17. Oh.
Adjusting Strategies in Combat
01:09:50
Speaker
Cool, not a problem. I'll change that now and score. Huge chunks of this armour come away and you can see on my skeletal bones of ribs underneath the breastplate that you thrust towards. It is still upright but it does not look particularly hardy. Casey, ignore the message spam that's coming in. I'll talk you through it when we get there. It's not that, yeah. So that's me down.
01:10:16
Speaker
Thank you. Grona, over to you. You've noticed these two other spectral figures come into view as well. What would you like to do? I'm going to go with Musk's lead and just keep focusing on the main guy. Do I still have flanking? You do. On him. Okay. I'm just going to try and hit him with the scythe again then. Okay. Roll to hit. It's a 15.
01:10:43
Speaker
I don't know if that hits or not. All right. Hits. Hooray! OK, that's good. Then in which case it is a one plus four. So five, whatever damage the scythe does. Slashing damage, yeah. Magical slashing damage, though, right? Magical slashing damage. Cool. And I'm going to shout again. Come on, I'm right here! And try and...
01:11:13
Speaker
dance around a bit to try and get his attention. Okay, lovely. Thank you very much. So firstly, the creature that is the ghostly spectre that is behind you, Musk, that appeared quite recently is going to have its go first. It's going to roll with advantage. Come at me. And only get a 13 against your armor class.
01:11:33
Speaker
The fact that that started with a T then got me very concerned, but no, 13 misses. Lovely. The one that's currently embroiled in combat between Bluey and Doric is going to swing at Doric because you've been there. No, Bluey because he's done an absolute bitch of damage to him and is going to... Oh, for God's sake, everyone's rolling shit. I got a...
01:11:54
Speaker
Eight against your armor class. That's him, that's him. It's going to go over to our big bad now. He's going to take a swing at you, Grona, to shut you up more than anything else. That is a 16 against your armor class. That hits me. Oh, I'm sorry. Oh, that's max damage as well. Sorry. 12 points of necrotic damage. Okay, but can you also please make a deck save?
01:12:22
Speaker
Hellish rebuke! Hellish rebuke, baby! That was my entire plan, because this is all I've got, basically. We rolled a 2, so that's gonna be 5. That's right. You take max damage then, which it is. Come on, big numbers. 16 fire damage. Very nice. And now I'm out of spells, so that's my whole...
01:12:51
Speaker
You noticed this whole swathe of his, like, one of his right pulled and has blown off as well. He's still standing, he's still there, but he is still upright. There's a good bit of damage though, Sarah. Nice, very nice. Very good damage. Cool. And that was his, oh, he hasn't had his turn action, which is, ooh, works very nicely for this as well. A haunting gaze. And because of that elish rebuke, he's just going to, with the one eye that you, oh, he works nicely, actually.
01:13:21
Speaker
The one eye that you can see out of it starts staring directly at Grona and I need you to make a wisdom saving throw please. I don't like the sound of this. 12.
01:13:41
Speaker
The DC is 12. Oh, excellent. You get a sudden sensation of your limbs stiffening, your feet sticking to the ground and for a second you feel like you can't move. Before it breaks away, you've just saved yourself being paralyzed for a minute. It's very nice. You would have had a chance to break it each turn, obviously it looked normal, but that's a pretty nasty thing to have. I'm glad you broke it, if I'm being honest, because
01:14:07
Speaker
Yeah, anyway, right, that's the end of the thread. Musk up to you. Let's face the facts, Grown is the most capable. The group wouldn't function. You're the matriarch of this. I'd still be outside eating weed. Bluey has been pushing us along pretty well when he's not been trying to run away. True, true, true. Right, Musk, top of the round. Your turn. What do you want to do? I'm gonna attack it.
01:14:33
Speaker
I'm gonna wreck it. Exactly. That was the impression I was going... Mr. T. Obviously, uh, amending. I'm gonna wreck Ralph. I'm gonna wreck Ralph. I'm gonna wreck Ralph, Casey. Yes. I think it's nice. I just want a Mr. T goblin.
01:14:48
Speaker
I'm here to garb. What damage did you do? I'm afraid I rolled a rather pathetic nine to hit. Wap, wap, missed. Anything else you want to do? Yes, I'm just going to... As this miss kind of happens, Musk is getting kind of frustrated. He's just shaking his arms up and down and frustrating. He's going to try and calm himself down and just...
01:15:11
Speaker
Big inward breath. I'm just gonna use my second wind and regain a little bit of health. Nice. Just to try and top it up a bit.
Crafting the Experimental Elixir
01:15:21
Speaker
And oh, that is a decent roll. So I get 10 points of healing. Very nice, very nice, very nice. Okay, lovely. Godboy, we're over to you. Come on, Casey.
01:15:34
Speaker
Well, I'm not too sure what to do. Well, I'll explain your experimental elixir to you. So what you can do, providing, which I'm sure you will, you need an empty flask, whether it's the one muskad, you need that. And you can produce an experimental elixir. What you need to do is you need to roll a d6 and you will produce a potion that has some form of effect. Okay.
01:15:59
Speaker
And she can do this now. It doesn't need to be in a rest. It doesn't say it takes any particular amount of time. It's as soon as you finish the rest. It is an action to actually make this potion in combat. So it's just one action. So like you would attack or anything like that, you are making this potion. That's fine. Yeah, I'm happy to do that. So I'll roll my d6. That's fantastic. It's a one.
01:16:24
Speaker
It's a good one for a one. You make a potion, you make a potent potion of healing. The drinker regains a number of hit points equal to 2d4 plus your intelligence modifier.
01:16:35
Speaker
Importantly, you don't have to, you can drink it yourself or you can pass that to someone else. So you effectively have just managed to store yourself a cure wound effectively. So, 2d4 plus. Plus your intelligence modifier. Or minus, you intelligence modifier. Intelligence modifier is a minus. Yeah, okay. But nothing to harm anybody. Nothing to hit with. That's, yep, okay. That's fine.
01:17:03
Speaker
Awesome, we've got that ready to rock and roll anyway, cowboy. Thank you. Doric, up next, this spectral being between you and Bluey has taken a hell of a beating from Bluey. What do you want to do?
01:17:15
Speaker
I think Doric would refocus himself for a second, realise that while engaging in close quarters fighting with this spectre is, of course, very cool and very heroic, it's not where the focus should be on the big bad. So first of all, Doric is going to use his bonus action to disengage, using his gobblingly disengage from the creature. Take a few steps back.
01:17:38
Speaker
You're so as he gets a clear line of sight on our main villain, as he starts to channel some of his inner energy and the steadily growing sound of whispers starts to sound out. With our creature, dissonant whispers, can you roll me a wisdom saving throw? Ten. It fails. Oh, I mean, conflicted because I want it to fail because I want you to do well, but at the same time, I don't want them to die. Big damage.
01:18:10
Speaker
I feel good damage. It depends how you want to do this because we're dissing them whispers. You obviously need to try and make him move as far as he can away from Doric. But he also is going to take nine psychic damage. Okay, I'll read out you just so we know. This is the one I was thinking of before. I think you have to move far away. Yeah, it uses it to reaction. It's frightened.
01:18:39
Speaker
move as far as its speed allows it. It's reaction. It's reaction, yeah. So it's going to cause attacks of opportunity. Yeah, that's what I was going to say. It's going to move around, Godboy.
01:18:54
Speaker
And it's going to, what's gonna happen is you're going to see it, I react, and you can almost hear out loud a series of voices. You hear the voice
Spectral Retreat and Opportunity Attacks
01:19:03
Speaker
of a woman screaming, you hear the voice of children crying, and this creature starts to shake and shiver and move back. No, no, no. As it starts to back around Godboy and head back towards the other end of the room, allowing Grona, Musk, and Godboy to make attacks of opportunity. So Grona, we'll start with yourself. I only got an 11.
01:19:23
Speaker
Okay, not a problem, that's going to be a miss unfortunately. Must grant to you for attack of opportunity. I rolled 17. Very good. That does hit, so roll your damage. While we're doing that, Casey, I forgot to ask you, could you do your Wisdom saving throw to see if you could break Frightened? We forgot to do that last time. Callum, what did you get for the damage? 15 points of magical slashing damage. 14.
01:19:44
Speaker
15. 15, very nice. Casey, I assume from the outburst we have a hilarious... Can you roll another one? I've got another natural one, that's a zero. Three natural ones? Fucking somebody fucking helped me, Jesus. To be fair, you're using natural ones on being frightened isn't the worst thing you could be using them on. I mean, that's true. If you're using them when you're attacked, you might end up smacking one of us instead by accident, so...
01:20:11
Speaker
So you're still facing my point. Oh, my toe. But you still get an attack of opportunity just with disadvantage. So you can roll to hit with your side. With disadvantage. So first one's a seven, second one's a six. And I just have to point out, and I really do kind of begrudge it, but I feel it should be known that six was another natural one. Yeah, thank you.
01:20:42
Speaker
How many natural ones? It's more the odds of it all, Casey. That's all. It's more the odds of it all. I can't believe. Incredible. But James, what a fantastic move from Doric there to move him away and then cause all those attacks of opportunity. Really well played. Oh, thank you very much. That's all he can do. Yeah, no, he's not going to use any more movement. He's going to stay in the position that he is. Excellent. Thank you very much. Bluey.
01:21:08
Speaker
You've got this creature on the ropes, the big bad, you've got the creature on the ropes behind you, which would you like to attack? I can't do anything about the one that's now moved away because the short bow from what Grona has shouted out, I know won't do much. So I'm just going to turn and thrust at the one that's next to me. Oh, all right. Roll to hit. Blade and crotch, just to be clear. Fuck this fucking game. Nine. So sorry.
01:21:40
Speaker
Are you staying in combat range with it? No. Yeah, fuck it. Yes, I am. Louie's gonna get a steely-eyed look in his eyes and go, no, not running anymore. Have at you. Nice, okay. He's gonna stay there. Grownate, your turn. You managed
Final Showdown and Victory
01:22:02
Speaker
to potshot this bastard as he ran away from you. What do you want to do?
01:22:08
Speaker
If I can, I'm not in combat like range of anyone at the moment, right? No, no, I'm going to melee. Yeah, sorry. Melee range. I'm going to kind of back away from them all a bit if I can, but still be within, I was going to say still be within Eldritch Blast range, but that's 120 feet. So I assume no matter where I am in the room, I could reach him.
01:22:35
Speaker
Yeah. So I'll just go back to my little shadowy corner and attempt an Eldritch Blast, but it's a 10, so that doesn't hit him, does it? No, that does miss, unfortunately. That's my turn.
01:22:54
Speaker
Two things, Callum. Firstly, 1-26-40 for me saying this. The other one, 1-26-Z for Casey's cough. I don't think you heard it, but I did, and then I didn't see your pen move, and I was like, I don't think he's writing that down. I did not hear that at all, thank you very much. 1-26-20, car from 1-26-40. Shut. Mike. Bit. Fuck it. Just obviously resume whenever you wish. I shall, I'll pick up. Thanks for that. I wish I could thank you for calling him Mike.
01:23:24
Speaker
Nice, okay, so we're at the bottom of the round now, which means it is our buddy's turn. He firstly is going to take a swing again at Grona. No, he's not, because he's miles away. I can now move forward now, James, can't I? I don't have to say it. Yes, Steve, it doesn't count as frightened. You just had to move your movement away. So you can move in again if needs be. Thank you. He's going to move back towards...
01:23:50
Speaker
The huge musk. It makes me like how large he is on the screen here. And it's going to take a lunging swipe at you for 15 against your AC. It's a miss. My shield comes up. Don't have a shield, but yeah. Something stops it. Okay. Brilliant.
01:24:12
Speaker
It's going to pause and it's going to look down and it's going to falter and fall to a knee for a second. And this pulsing blue energy is going to start spreading out from it. And as a final act of desperation, when reduced to 50 points or below, the spectral light releases a burst of necrotic energy. All creatures within 20 foot radius must make a constitution saving throw, please. Which burst is that? Sorry, that's a very good question. We just checked that was busy rolling die. That's going to be,
01:24:42
Speaker
I feel like me in my little dark corner is not within 20 feet of him. You're not. You're fine. You've got another way. It's Godboy and Musk. Bluey, you're clear. Doric, you're clear. It's just Godboy and Musk. Out of curiosity, do one of his spectres need to roll as well? Or is it kind of immune to that? Or creatures. So he's going to take a hit from it as well. Yeah. Nice. Good point. Thank you for that. Unfails. Fantastic.
01:25:11
Speaker
to get the damage sorted for it. Why is there so many rolls? I'm sorry. Okay, uh, must score to get.
01:25:24
Speaker
I got a six. You take 11 points of necrotic damage, which is shit, actually. I rolled really awful for 5d8. 5d8. Jesus. And it was only 11. That could have been really bad. I'm really glad I healed, though. I'm really glad I second winded. The spectral being is going to just fully dissipate and disappear as it kind of draws its energy and gets rid of it. Godboy, what did you get? 17.
01:25:53
Speaker
Oh, wow. After with disadvantage. Oh, shit. No, I fucking didn't get it like this. Oh, no. You have to ruin it. Shift disadvantage on saves as well. That would be an eight. Admittedly, I thought it was only attack rolls and ability. Yeah, same. It is. It is. I'm sorry, sorry, sorry. No, you're fine. You're fine. You passed. I thought it was that. You passed. You passed. You passed. Never mind. That's something, Casey. Yay. All right. I'm playing D&D now. Yes, D&D.
01:26:22
Speaker
Right, that's the end of his turn. The creature that's in Thrall but Bluey is going to take a swing. 12. Miss. Balls. That's the end of his turn. Bullshit. My ammo cast isn't even that good as well. My ammo cast isn't even that good. I love the idea of the corporal being that you're going, balls as well. That's the end of his turn. Mask your turn.
01:26:50
Speaker
Yeah, that blue-ish ooze, whatever, it's kind of really kind of hit him, so I think he's kind of took a stagger, as it were. He's like, I'll get you yet. And I'm just going to go and swing at him again with my mighty colossal scythe. Come on. Come on. 22 to hit. That hits. Come on, Callum. Come on. Get him dead.
01:27:18
Speaker
Roll well, roll well, roll well. Holy Jesus Christ almighty, 24 points of magical slashing damage. That's a chunky move.
Reflections on Teamwork and Journey
01:27:32
Speaker
Would you like to describe how this corporeal knight diminishes, or as you know, not the death of the creature, but your final attack?
01:27:43
Speaker
I think my final attack as Musk has kind of staggered back but he's still got the scythe clenched in his hand. He just kind of lunges forward as much as he can do. Perfect positioning and from the bottom to the very top you see this scythe slice.
01:28:06
Speaker
straight through this corporeal being and there's almost like an airy stillness that just seems to rest after this attack had been made where something feels a little bit different about it all before whatever happens to the corporal being. The large blade in Lord Hasselthorpe's hand disappears in a muted manner.
01:28:30
Speaker
The rest of the fence mask falls away along with the rest of the armour leaving a dishevelled small skinny old man stood in front of you who just smiles a
Gratitude and Future Exploits
01:28:46
Speaker
kind smile a look of appreciation and a nod up to the giant goblin that stands in front of him
01:28:55
Speaker
as he slowly looks up and closes his eyes before looking down and slowly dissipates to fog and to nothing. The room is yours, the space is yours. Is there anything you'd like to do? Bluey immediately stabs the spectral thing as it's disappearing. Ah! Ah! The one that was in front of him. Yep. I think Musk is going to be looking at his side going,
01:29:24
Speaker
I've got to be a pet. Shit, yeah. And you've now got the soul of Lord Hesselthorpe within your scythe. Yeah. Gathering those temporary hit points, I'll tell you how many you've got. Oh my goodness, the child, the poor child. Louis is going to run back to the previous room. Yeah, absolutely. I think Musk would try and get stuck in the doorway.
01:29:55
Speaker
very different worlds. I'm trying to piece together one of this heartfelt moment and then you getting stuck in the dark to help you with that. Dark will take a moment to end his enlarge on
01:30:09
Speaker
on the musk. So you returned to a large goblin. I'm just a large goblin now, which I'm 10 foot. Is that enough to get me through the doorway? No, yeah, you could try and squeeze down. I think what happened is he shrinks down, he's like, thank you. Tries to go through, whacked himself on the door frame, just tries to get out and be, oh yeah.
01:30:27
Speaker
because it's probably been about another 30 seconds now so my giants might would have worn off and he just kind of shrinks back down to tiny size. As you pass Bluey into the room of mirrors where you previously met the young member of the Hasselthought family, you see for a second his chest lifted, coughing as this line of dust comes up and out
01:30:53
Speaker
And then really quickly for a second, his mouth moves, his tongue moves, he looks, and then you see something strange happening where, as you can imagine, time catches up. And very quickly before your eyes, you see this figure grow into a full-sized human, and then slowly, slowly age. As very aware, this figure, the panic kind of sets in over the eyes as he ages, ages, ages, dies, and returns to nothing but a skeleton in front of your eyes.
01:31:20
Speaker
He'd been frozen in some way in time, and then time caught up with him. Did he look like it hurt? Or was it just quite peaceful? There was a sense, again, it was only mainly in the eyes. You could just see the eyes kind of dart around a little bit, but it was in a matter of mere seconds that it all took place. Oh, I don't like it. We end as his pain.
01:31:47
Speaker
Right, but maybe it would have been kind of a just stab at him earlier. Like, aging and then dying of old age in a few seconds sounds a bit grim. I've had dreams like that before. Sounds like a nightmare. Yes, well, look, Nacovello, I think some things are just best left to
01:32:14
Speaker
to not knowing as things in here I wish I hadn't known. So, um, you're all remarkable people. I could just say that. Especially you, Mask. I'm really glad we kept you in that fight. You were, you were, you were cracking, cracking good soul. Yeah, I don't think I was nor use nor ornament, to be honest. Oh, no, no, no. Um, go away from what I recall.
01:32:41
Speaker
Musk here has been hurt. From what I know, almost as if like somehow I knew what you did with that potion. I almost think you can you can help your friend Musk here. Give him that drink and he'll feel right his reign. Well, would you like it, Musk? I am a bit thirsty. Well, then I'd drink it if I were you. And then Godboy is going to give over the potion.
01:33:11
Speaker
And, yeah, from Godboy, Musk will indeed chug it down. So that's 2d4 minus my intelligent modifier. Is that correct? Yes. So do I need to roll that for you? Yeah, you roll 2d4 and roll minus. Oh, I assume it should normally be plus one, because Artifices are normally intelligent. Intelligent phase, but can't just dump my primary stat. At the very least, you'll get four hit points. You've got four hit points.
01:33:41
Speaker
Lovely. And he's going to chug it and you clearly see kind of a scar or cut that was just across his face, just kind of heal up almost directly in front of you. Happy to help. That was tasty. I like that. Well, remember, go boy, we are goblin kin. It's not about the individual, but the group and what we do together. And I think we made a damn fine adventuring group.
01:34:08
Speaker
Why? It's just too okay. Yes, Doric, I like your spirit, I like your ability to motivate in your fine way with words. Growner, you terrify me, I won't lie, but I'm glad you were here to keep us on track. Well, it's... And where do you think you're going? It's just part where we kill him.
01:34:37
Speaker
Well aye, that's what I was about to say as well, as Doric quite rightly said, it's goblin kind, no goblin and halfling kind.
01:34:46
Speaker
That's true. That's true. I understand that. And as I am saying this, I noticed none of you are moving towards me and I'm backing away towards the door. But I am going to turn to sprint. Can I shoot an Eldritch Blast? I'm going to be in pursuit. I'm in pursuit. I'm shooting him. I'm shooting him. I'm double dashing. Double dashing. As you run out the door, yes, Grunty, you can knock off an Eldritch Blast. So roll the hip. It's...
01:35:16
Speaker
12. Does it hit your A team? Okay. Hits away and you run around the corner. Um, Godboy, you're still Godboy. Uh, uh, Musk, you're still large, aren't you? No, I'm normal sized now. Normal sized. Okay. You're trying to, you're trying to skedaddle along after him. Okay. You're still going to be about 10 feet behind. You've got both guys both have the same speed, don't you? And I'm double dashing. I'm dashing and then dashing. I can dash along with you, but what's your speed? Cause I'm doing 35 feet.
01:35:45
Speaker
Why are you 35? Because I took mobile. Oh yeah, that came up. With a double dash, I've done 50 feet. With a double dash, I'll do 70. How are you double dashing?
01:36:00
Speaker
We can all dash. I'm trying to get ahead of you. Right, but you can't double dash. Yeah, I've got the rogue thing, which means I can double dash. We can only disengage or... Oh, wait, so are you using movement and then dash and then dash? Because I can. Yes. Oh, I thought you'd just movement and then dash. Yeah. Oh, damn it. I'm not gonna... Okay. Ben, how can you do that? Even your bag of bullshit. It's because he's a rogue. He has a bonus action to dash. As goblins, we can only disengage in height because he's a rogue. Oh!
01:36:29
Speaker
I forgot about this. I'm gonna throw my rapier at him. It bounced off the wall. You can't see him, he's already dashed around the corner. Bluey, as you head round one corner round another and you get to the stairs, the base of the stairs, you run directly into a huge suit of armor, black armor, standing tall, thick plate armor. Were you one of the lords sent here to clear this place?
01:36:57
Speaker
No, they're up there. I... I... They're up there. Yeah, just don't let them kill me, please. No, you don't believe you, you're coming too, and this large man is gonna reach down and grab you by the scruff of your neck. Come on then, little man, let's go back and meet your friends and walk round the corner. Yes, okay, but just don't let them kill me. Tell them they're not allowed to kill me.
01:37:23
Speaker
This large human comes around the corner, scarred, battle-worn, white hair, armour thick. Could any of you, all of you, one of you make a history check? I can make a history check. Definitely somebody who's intelligent. I'm reasonably. I know who it is. I got a 15.
01:37:48
Speaker
Would you get 15, sorry, and James, what'd you get? I got an eight. I'm gonna roll as well, I'm gonna roll as well, because I think I know who it is. Okay, screw it, let's roll. Sorry, go ahead. Yeah, not bad. What'd you get, Blue? I got a 14. Okay, yeah, you get this as well. But for two different reasons. Grown it, you know this armor, because it's been the armor that you, well, members of your clan at least have been terrified of for quite some time.
01:38:15
Speaker
Bluey, you know this armour because it's the armour of the Sleetguard Surge. These are technically war heroes from the Purge a year ago, and this is a veteran of the Blight. Could this be? This is a veteran of the Halstump Surge, you're not allowed to kill me. I think this is Tana Barry. I think this is Tana Barry. A large hand of your man. Stop your talking, little man. He looks at you all.
01:38:45
Speaker
I come in peace, goblin kind. I'm not here to hurt any of you. That's fine. We just want to kill him. And I'm going to point to Bluey. Let's do that, please. He must live. You all must live. Tell me, is this mana clear? Well, we're inside. You make a good point. You must be the intelligent one of the group then. I like to think so. Tell me.
01:39:13
Speaker
Who sent you on this mission? It was another goblin. Who told him to send you on a mission then? Somebody else. Who told that person to send you on the mission then? A different person. Are you talking about the Nakavolo? Are you talking about the Nakavolo? He says he's just dangling by his shirt. Bless you, little man. I'm talking about Alpha.
01:39:43
Speaker
Do you know who that is? Yes! Alpha! Yes, they like him. He's our fearless leader. Now, Punk is just going to drop, blowy, slightly higher than natural height. He's going to lean down onto one knee because he's quite a hulking man. I have a friend of mine, Ola. She's not your alpha, but she's a close friend. She's got some work for you, if you'd like it.
01:40:14
Speaker
What kind of work? Sorry, where did you come from? Because we were just fighting a big ghost man and you were nowhere to be found. Yeah, you could have really helped. I mean, we didn't need you. I did. I came from downstairs. I came up the stairs like any other man. I put my boots on one foot at a time like any other man or goblin kind. Sorry, my timing is not particularly good, but... Oh, you can say that again.
01:40:41
Speaker
I could repeat it many times. I could indeed. Nonetheless, I can tell you more about it. If you come for a walk with me, let's leave this place of death and misery. Oh, that sounds awful things. Please come with me. We've got a camp outside here, not too far away, just myself. And we can talk you through.
01:41:03
Speaker
It's to do with monster hunting. Let that thought go with you. I have one final question, actually, and he's going to start walking off. He's going to have re-grabbed Bluey by the collar and start walking down the stairs. One final question, actually, young little man here. Who thought it was a good idea to shit downstairs?
01:41:24
Speaker
And I think quite happily actually, Musk would raise his hand and say, that's the poo-roo. You want to be grateful he didn't do that when he was a giant. He's going to make his way downstairs. You guys will have your own time to make that up and your thoughts on that later. But this concludes our little jaunt through.
01:41:49
Speaker
I wanted to set up a little chance maybe later on down the line that as experts, monster hunters possibly, you might yourselves be interested in a bit of monster hunting work and someone shots further down the line. TBC, but if people have enjoyed it, if you've enjoyed it or listeners have enjoyed it, either or, it'd be great to get you guys back on again at some point. So thank you very much for bearing with. Thank you for dealing with my awful time loop.
01:42:13
Speaker
And thank you for being hilarious and doing things that I've never heard in D&D done before. So kudos to you all for some amazing plays. Thank you very much for that.
01:42:23
Speaker
Thank you. Thank you. Great appreciation for Mr. DM. And if you would like to pass kudos on to our DM and to everyone who is here, you can do so by finding us on our socials.

01:42:38
Speaker
You can find us all collectively at Fellowship Tabletop. Have I got it right this time? Nope. Fellowship Table. At Fellowship Table.
01:42:47
Speaker
Fellowship table, that's where you can find us. You can find, we can't find Sarah unfortunately, that we would like to extend Sarah a huge thank you for making her fellowship debut. Thank you. Insert round of applause digitally. Maybe if we do come back for another session, I will in fact create a D&D themed Twitter. So it's about sending everything to Will.
01:43:10
Speaker
But yes, as always you can send stuff for Sarah to natural 20 will and Case is back and the course. It's always wonderful and great to have Casey back with us So again, thank you so much Casey for for coming back. Thanks Yeah missing all of you it's been a pleasure. Thank you very much
01:43:31
Speaker
And we're now going to miss you as well, Sarah. So there's a double jeopardy here. There's a double round of just missing people going on. The person we always miss, even if we did tell him to fuck off in the closure for a while. A big, big thank you as well to James for coming back. And James, whereabouts can we find you on Twitter? You can find my D&D handle at chappydiceroll. And I have to say it's been an absolute pleasure as always.
01:43:56
Speaker
Thank you ever so much James. We're also bringing one of the finest voices that we've maybe ever had. My Twitter by the way is unicornquip but I think everyone knows that one.
01:44:08
Speaker
Yes, sorry, I forgot to ask. It's been a long session and I think we're all a little bit fragile. Anyway, you can find our giant shitting goblin. Whereabouts can we find you, Callum? At the D20 Gamer and I'm kind of tempted to maybe in the next one put in some kind of Jurassic Park thing if I'm going to be a colossal goblin that's going to just go around shitting.
01:44:34
Speaker
I don't think I want to come back anymore, sorry. I don't think we've got any listening audience left. That's okay, now I just need a goblin voiced by Jeff Gordon. Yes, and if you're still here, if you're still here making your way through this awful outro, which I've somehow managed to butcher, I promise we'll have Ian back on these in the immediate future. You can find me at Darren page 06, and you can find our devilishly brilliant, fantabulously marvellous Tanner Barry voicing DM at
01:45:02
Speaker
history rolled DM. Until next time, guys.
