West Ham Weekend Triumph

00:00:08
Mark
Yes, team. Welcome back to Daily Forest. Hope you're having a great week so far. Big game at the weekend. We're joined by West Ham. How are you, man?
00:00:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
i'm doing I'm doing good, mate. Off the back, a really positive result for us, so I'm feeling good.
00:00:19
Mark
Massive result, massive result. Structures today for everyone who's

Testing West Ham Knowledge and Strategy Discussion

00:00:23
Mark
watched it. We're going to start by ah grilling the West Ham knowledge and finding out about their team. We're going to swap and give away some forest tactics, which, you know, probably won't be helpful for the weekend.
00:00:33
Mark
And then we'll do a bit of the combined 11. Let's dive into the weekend. Obviously you've got 10 hog essentially sacked.

Performance Against United: Intensity and Changes

00:00:39
Mark
It's been coming for a while. um Got lucky first half. I mean, got lucky first half.
00:00:44
Mark
Oh God.
00:00:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:00:45
Mark
How did they not score? I mean, Diogo, Darlow, wow. But second off, you were unbelievable. What happened?
00:00:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't know, mate, to be honest. um It was just a complete change in the kind of intensity that we played with. And that's that sort of intensity and the kind
00:01:01
Mark
and

Impact of Substitutions and Player Energy

00:01:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
of desire to win is something that Underloper tell you we've not actually seen a lot of.
00:01:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
So it was so refreshing to see see that. And I think specifically the changes that were made at halftime, I think opened the game so much. Somerville came on and he was electric. His pace is ridiculous.
00:01:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
There were so many times where There was, he was like shoulder shoulder with someone and he'd see a ball about, you know, 15 feet away and he foot race. He was beating them every time. And it wasn't just his speed.
00:01:26
Mark
yeah
00:01:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
It was like his tenacity as well. And the way that he really wanted to make an impact, I think is so positive. I think, especially when your team's going through quite a sad time of it, you know, you want the players that are going to write, I want to be counted.
00:01:41
Mark
Yeah.
00:01:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
When I come on I'm gonna make an impact so yeah He was electric and you you can say the same for a lot of the other subs Thomas who Jack came on and played really well Like he always does so so yeah, it was really positive, man
00:01:52
Mark
Yeah, fantastic player Somerville. We he got really good with him in summer and I was like, I don't think we'll manage to land him.

Lopategui's Influence: Signings and Rejuvenation

00:01:58
Mark
But you know, it'd be nice if we did, but obviously he's gone to West Ham, done well. Lopategues come in, you know, big name, brought in some big players. He's attracted a lot of big players. The squad looks unbelievable. Obviously you've loaned Ward Prowse to us because you just didn't need him. He's not really done much for us, to be honest.
00:02:13
Mark
But you've got some good players in. Alvarez is looking you know good, a bit slow at the minute, but he's a great player. um You've got Guido in midfield as well, don't know too much about him. um But you've got a few other players there as well, keeping Sucek out of the side, which is a surprise for me. I quite like Thomas Sucek.
00:02:29
Mark
um Talk to us about Lopategi and the new signings. Lopategi's got a big name tag. He came, did OK at Wolves. Didn't last very long. kind of Left on you know not the greatest of terms because of transfers. What's he brought to West Ham? Because you've not had the best start, but on paper and on manager, you seem to be one of the better teams in the league.

Transition from Moyes' Style to Possession Play

00:02:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, so if you were talking to me at the beginning of the season, I could have, you know, ranted and raved about all the transfers we've made and the kind of shift that we're looking to go from David Moyes football, which he doesn't really like having it. He likes defending quite deep and then going on the counter. And that's how we were able to be so successful in, you know, the past few years with winning the conference league, obviously, and then Yeah, if if you had asked me this at the beginning of the season, I would have said, yeah, we're going into a more possession based football. It's going to be more attractive. We're going to control games. But it actually hasn't really turned out that way. We've we've seen glimpses and some of the signings you say you didn't know much about Guido Rodriguez. He was someone that was on Javi's radar at Barcelona and he was lined up for a move there before he got the sack.
00:03:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
So this is what we spoke about a lot. It's like if we're attracting people that are linked with such high profile moves, then they must be decent. And I think Guido is one of the players that suffered a little bit because we haven't necessarily performed the the style of Lopategi as much as we probably could have done or or should have done.

Building a New Foundation Under Lopategui

00:03:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
because he is very much uh he likes to play with the football he's you know he he's so calm under pressure and his little ones who link up play is so good and when you're not going through a rich vein of form it it's kind of difficult to allow those sort of players to flourish but but lopategi has brought i think the start of a change it just we've kind of stuttered at the beginning i think there's so much more potential i think especially with the squad that he's created because it is class and i think we did have the best transfer window obviously you look at where we are in the league and you it kind of doesn't spell that out exactly but i think with the the quality that we've got and you know the likes of full croc who's still basically yet to play at a full game he's only played about 60 minutes in the league like it's been slightly unforgiving and
00:04:30
Mark
Yeah.
00:04:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
You know, there's certain players that haven't played as well as normal, like all of the Peketa situation with, you know, all of the betting stuff, I think has put a bit of a cloud over his head. So his performance is not being as good. I don't think as much of a surprise. I've been an advocate of taking him out of the team, to be honest, just to get his name out of the the press and keep him away from the spotlight until that stuff can kind of simmer down.
00:04:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
um but But yeah, Lopategi has hes laid some really good foundations just yet to really see the fruits of those foundations fully be be grown yet. But I think there is still time and especially with that Man United result, how how hard we fought for it in the end, because you know there was 12 minutes of added time, which ended up as 13 and a half, which I don't really know how that happened. um
00:05:22
Mark
Yeah.
00:05:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
we We dug in, players were defending for their lives. They were putting their bodies on the line. We were, you know, slide tackles, clearing it into rosette every time. It was, it was good. And it was such a good message to send to the rest of the league to say that we're not dead. We're not just rubbish. Like we are still here and we're going to fight and I think it's going to get better.
00:05:41
Mark
Well, I mean, your squad's unbelievable. I think it's one of those teams on paper that if they turn up, they could beat essentially anyone, even maybe City when you're on a good day.

Upcoming Match Against Forest: Challenges and Insights

00:05:49
Mark
You know, Kudos was out of the weekend. Is he back for the Forest game?
00:05:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
no he's not i'm pretty sure he's it'll be another two games including forest and then he'll be back i think it's three games yeah yeah i was gonna say some of us not a bad understudy is he
00:05:58
Mark
Oh no, that's such a shame. I can't believe we're not going to get to see Mohammed Kuda there. We're all devastated. I mean, you've got options, let's be honest, like Boeing. I mean, yeah, exactly. yeah He didn't even start. He's coming off the bench. Antonio is an ex-Forest player. Where do you think your danger lies? Because, you know, first half, you're not always the best in the first half and United could have killed you off. Is that is that a kind of a theme that's been running through this season or is it is it just, is there any weaknesses that, you know, that worry you ahead of the Forest game?
00:06:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think you're spot on with that kind of the way that we stutter into games. And it takes us a while to kind of warm up.
00:06:37
Mark
Hmm.
00:06:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
And our back line on paper is really good. But when when we start games so slow, it leaves so much room for them to be kind of exploited and taken advantage of. And then as soon as you've had someone tear your defense up in like the first 10 minutes, it then leaves.
00:06:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
So it leaves that kind of bad taste in your mouth for the rest of the game. You're like, oh, I've just seen our defense get ripped apart. It could happen at any point. It's only then when changes have been introduced or it's kind of got later into the game when we've warmed up, then we actually start to play better football.
00:07:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
So yeah, I think that's probably the worry for me is us got us conceding in probably the first like 10, 15 minutes, to be honest, because if that happens, it then puts us on the back foot.
00:07:07
Mark
Yeah.
00:07:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
And even if we are able to get a goal, we then have to get another one. um It's just something that's happened too often this season. We've, we've conceded and then after conceding, it's just really poor. It's like the result against Spurs. We conceded three goals in just over 10 minutes. so Yeah, it's a worry. I think the way that obviously Chris Wood, I'm going to ask you about him ah in this section when I ask you questions because he seems to be on absolute fire

Chris Wood's Surprising Form

00:07:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
at the moment. Like someone like him who, if the opportunity comes, it seems like right now, anything he touches is going to go in. So if we give you that opportunity early on, which I feel like we might, it it could be danger for us.
00:07:50
Mark
Yeah, how's your waveform this season?
00:07:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
um Not great. I don't think... I don't really think it translates into home and away from it. It's kind of just generally been pretty poor, to be honest.
00:08:01
Mark
Okay, fair.
00:08:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think it's only the Crystal Palace game where we look really good. In basically all the other games, we've been pretty poor and we've managed to pull it back. So, yeah, it's... I don't think it's really different enough to distinguish between them, if that makes sense.
00:08:17
Mark
Fair enough, yeah. Right, we'll talk about forests in a second. Gonna go to the adverts first, and then we'll dive into where forest are weak and where maybe forest could exploit West Ham, because I think it's quite quite an even game by the looks of it.
00:08:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
Because you're fine.
00:08:54
Mark
Lovely. Right, talk in forest now and so it's time to find out where where our weaknesses might lie against West Ham. Do you want to drill away?
00:09:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, so so my first point, I wanna start positive first. Chris Wood, obviously I mentioned him earlier. It seems like from an outside perspective, as someone who gets a lot of the voices from other Premier League fans, people saw him as a bit of a joke when you signed him. I think that's kind of been the story of his career. It seems like everywhere he goes, everyone goes, oh, he's okay, but is he really that great? But then what has happened to him recently? He's he's just on absolute fire. It seems like,
00:09:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
Obviously, because physically he's not very quick. He's ah he's a big lad and he's strong, but his ability to get into a good position to then finish chances seems second to none at the moment.
00:09:38
Mark
Yeah, 100%. Well, I think what surprised me is he's not actually that slow. Like he's not fast by any means. He's not like Antonio, but like, yeah, he he can run if he needs to. But I think when we first signed him with Cooper, he was kind of like big man up front, probably will get a few goals might keep you in the league. But since Nuno's come in, same with a lot of players, and you probably see this lapategi as well, is that, you know, when you've got a good gaffer, who's who's fitness based and of works for the smaller squad, they get a lot more man-to-man time and it's a lot more specific, a lot more tactical and you see Chris Wood's like reap the rewards. I mean when we first hired him he couldn't get in the team over a 1-year, but as soon as the 1-year got injured, as soon as Chris Wood got some of that sharpness back and Nuno kind of tweaked how I wanted him to play, it's just flourished and I think his strengths are a massive asset but his finishing's been brilliant. He's had a lot of praise from pundits and the Forest fans obviously were enjoying it but like
00:10:28
Mark
what you don't realise is he'll miss two of them before he scores one so hopefully he gets three chances at the weekend because at least one of them will go in but um but also I think the team the way that Nuno setting is setting us up you know is is very pragmatic it's very tactical but it's it's quite good football to watch generally we look dangerous we look like we're on the front foot quite a lot it's kind of defensive minded to push forward which is quite good I think because then we're solid at the back, but we we look

Nuno's Tactical Transformation

00:10:54
Mark
good going forward.
00:10:54
Mark
And that's why we're getting more chances. I mean, last season we couldn't, we couldn't get chances for toffee. I mean, we were awful, but this season, it feels like we've got more of a threat. You look at our lineup on paper, it looks more dangerous.
00:11:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
in theaters.
00:11:04
Mark
And then because of that, naturally the balls in the box more forward to to have those opportunities. And I think that's the little shift that's helped us. I think, you know, attack is the best form of defenses. Personally, my favourite saying in football and I think it's so true. I think defensive football is painful to watch and in terms of results, it doesn't work anymore, I don't think.
00:11:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I agree. And I think when you talk about Chris Wood, he's obviously someone that's had class because the amount of goals he's scored or ever he's gone. And when you talk about the way that you're the general attack around him has improved so much that if you've got any decent striker up front, if you're giving them opportunities, they're going to score at some point. So the way that you've been able to create chances and then the fact that he is there to finish them seems like kind of the the timing is perfect. I think especially like Alanga, he's been amazing, isn't he?
00:11:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
The fact that he left United is kind of ah an afterthought it it felt like from the outside perspective. like No one really spoke about the signing, but but this season, and I think probably at the end of the last season as well, he's he's been really good.
00:11:57
Mark
yeah
00:12:01
Mark
Yeah.
00:12:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
so So it's really happy for you and it's a bit scary for me. um You also mentioned your your solid defence. I want to talk about the centre-back partnership of Murillo and Milenkovic. That is how you say it is now.
00:12:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
I might be saying it wrong.
00:12:13
Mark
Yeah. Yeah. marlolanqui Yeah.
00:12:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, what a partnership that's beginning to develop there. I've always liked Marillo because he seems like a bit of a, he's so like small and stocky, but like the way he aggressively plays, I love, absolutely love it. So so tell me about how that that partnership has kind of flourished.
00:12:30
Mark
Well, when he first came, he he played at left back and he was like tearing it up down the ring. We were like, who is this guy? He's unbelievable. I thought he was a centre back. Clearly he's a left back. And then he started playing at centre back and we were like, oh no, he's a centre back. He's just that good. um And he kind of was this like unknown Brazilian defender, you know, has had a bit of interest from the big clubs.
00:12:49
Mark
got him for that 15 mil, and I think in his first away game as a Palace, he like dribbled half the length of the pitch, went round like four players, and the ball bounced when he volleyed it straight at the keeper, but it would have been like the best goal of the season. It was unbelievable to watch. And he's pinging balls left, right, and center. But it's the thing for me is his tenacity and his nimbleness, a bit like the reverse of some of it in terms of having him at the back. There's so many challenges he dives into last minute and somehow managed to get a foot on the ball when he's got absolutely no right to. And Milankovic is just a wall, mate.
00:13:18
Mark
like genuinely like made of bricks. It's like, have you seen the juggernaut in Fantastic Four? That's how he kind of reminds me.
00:13:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. yeah
00:13:25
Mark
Like anything that goes into the box, he wins it. And the last season we were really poor on set pieces. And that's one of the main things that Nina has addressed this year is sorting out the set pieces. um And we look a lot better.
00:13:36
Mark
And even if Milenko, which is not getting the goals, he's getting in there, he's causing issues and the ball drops. of I mean, Yates put one over the bar against Leicester that he really should have scored. But you know, things like that that are really important to to get those opportunities. But those two together, it's quite nice for Forest fans because we're actually having people come to us on the podcast going, love your defensive partnership. And like five minutes ago, we'd have been like, what? This is quite nice this year for people to praise the defense because never in a million years would I ever have thought that would be the conversation. Do you know what I mean?
00:14:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, definitely. I think it's always good when other people praise your players because it means that deep down, I think they are a bit scared by them. You know, you don't, you're not going to praise a player that you're not scared by. So I think to have people say that is always a big positive. um My last question is generally about the season. So obviously you're doing it amazingly so far. How do you, what would define success from here? And how do you think that differs to the start of the season?
00:14:32
Mark
Well, I made a joke at the start of the season. I was like, we could be that fluke team that like somehow ends up in the conference league position at the end of the year, but I think 14th is probably realistic. And I think any sort of improvement on last year, like, you know, if you look at the top half of the table, you've got West Ham in there, Newcastle aren't doing too well at the minute, but they were a good team. Brighton, even Brentford, if you look at, they've got on Bermo and Carvalho and all these different players, you know, they've got a few out injured up front as well, and they look dangerous. and Even, even down to like Bournemouth,
00:15:02
Mark
And you go, that middle of the table is stacked. Like they're very difficult teams. And if we can kind of get in like mid table, maybe like 11th or 12th, I think that'll be a massive improvement on our season.
00:15:13
Mark
It'd be huge success for us. And I think it will prove that we can compete at the top. But I think if we, if we can keep going the way that we're going, if we get into conference league, I mean, that would be unbelievable. Like it would be crazy.
00:15:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
Amazing.
00:15:23
Mark
And the owner's ambition is to, to go as far as we can. I mean, when we got promoted, he said, you know, it's not about just getting money and taking out of the club. but yeah The whole point of getting this into the Premier League is so that I can invest more and we can use that money to make for us the best they can be. That's the whole point. We want to be successful. That's why we want to be in the Premier League. We want to get to Europe. So this is all part of a long term plan. Somehow we've managed to survive this far. But hopefully now that we've got this far, we can actually push on and achieve some of those dreams. Because I mean, you look at West Ham a few years ago, obviously, you did have a better squad. But like,
00:15:55
Mark
you probably didn't expect to be in Europe and it was phenomenal and then you went into Europe and actually smashed it and you know I think finally after the many years of complaining and the many years of pain you've actually invested quite well same as forest and like if you look at Brighton and Fulham a lot of these teams have like learnt where to invest in that young hungry exciting players that maybe haven't quite done it at the top clubs in their academies but you know want to go on and do something elsewhere and you know we're starting to see like some unbelievable teams in the Premier League they're like you look at West Ham in the forest and you look at like you know Brighton and Newcastle these teams four or five years ago would easily be in the top four and you know that's now mid-table Premier League it it is ah it is quite a phenomenal league at the minute isn't it?

Managerial Stability and Long-term Success

00:16:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, definitely. And I think when it, when it relates to West Ham and being successful, I think the main thing that got us there is when we dropped the ego from the situation. Obviously we got rid of David Moyes the first time being bring Pellegrini in and he does not very much to be honest.
00:16:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
It was pretty poor. So then we go, right.
00:16:53
Mark
Oh, I when you when you report a Pellegrini, I was like, why?
00:16:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Yeah, ah definitely.
00:16:57
Mark
Why?
00:16:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
And then we bring David Moyes back and we go, you know what, it actually was quite good under him and we just back him. Then we get success. And I think this is the thing that I talk with so many other of the GSP and podcast guys about is clubs need to accept where they are and just give a manager some time and try to just have a bit of faith.
00:17:17
Mark
Yeah, well, with
00:17:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
because it seems like so often people just get rid of their manager and it's like, it might go down a little bit. If you just, if any, like half decent manager, they're there for a reason. If you just give them a little bit of time, there will be positive outcomes.
00:17:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
And it seems like so many clubs just don't care. They just go, no, not good enough. See you later. and
00:17:34
Mark
Well, a lot of these managers are really good managers. They just can't quite cut it at the top with the egos. But like, ah as we've seen a lot of teams recently, like Nuno Tottenham won half his games there, but got fired after 10 games because he lost the other five. he didn't draw any of those games. Mois went to United, couldn't make it work. But you know, these are managers that didn't have that much time there. Whereas at teams like Wolves, West Ham Forest, they're incredibly successful. And they're very good managers at what they do. And I think, you know, West Ham Forest will be really interesting at the weekend. I think you may have just too much, especially off the back of the confidence of the Man United win. But I mean, it could it could definitely go either way. We'll do predictions next. First, they're going to go to the second advert. And then I think this is going to be a really interesting conversation.
00:18:16
Mark
you
00:18:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I agree
00:18:41
Mark
Lovely.

Speculation on Forest Game: Key Players and Start

00:18:43
Mark
And it is a great platform. It really is. Great games coming through at the weekend as well. Forest West Ham is just one of many. There's a lot of relegation battles this week as well. You've seen, oh, what a weekend.
00:18:52
Mark
Match of the Day is going to be fantastic on Saturday night. But Forest West Ham is the big game at the city grounds. The mist will be rolling in for the Trent. But what will be happening on the grass? This is the question. What's your initial thoughts?
00:19:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's kind of similar to what I was talking about before. if If we start like we have been starting and we concede very early, we're going to make it so difficult for ourselves because the forest ground when it gets rocking is can be quite an intimidating place to go. And especially if you concede early, that crowd is going to be electric for the whole game. So that uphill battle of trying to get you know get an equalizer and then hopefully go on to get a second goal, I think it makes it too difficult. So I think the first 15 minutes are going to be so key for us.
00:19:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
We have to come out of the gate's heart and just I'm not even saying score. I'm just saying don't concede because I think after that we can then warm into the game because like you mentioned, we do have quality and I think some of it will probably start this game because of how well he played in the last game.
00:19:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
So, you know, and we've got him and Bowen and I don't even need to talk about Bowen, do I?
00:19:48
Mark
And.

unbelievable it it literally seems like every single goal that we score he has his fingerprints all over them and he's he's only got three goals and two assists this season which doesn't seem like a lot in nine games but if you actually look at most of the things we create he has a touch in there somewhere he's the one that beats a man to pass it to someone who's in space he then passes it to someone who scores a goal so so yeah and i think i think his persistent quality is something that I don't know who you'll be playing at left back.
00:20:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
Ollie, Ollieina, maybe.
00:20:24
Mark
ah Left back will probably be a Moreno.
00:20:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
You think? So yeah, that music to my ears, Jared Bowen is, you know, he's, he will be the best left backs in the league.
00:20:28
Mark
Yeah.
00:20:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I'm, I'm not sure how good Moreno is. I mean, you might want to correct me, but that that's about all that I'm quite.
00:20:38
Mark
Do you know what? He has been solid to be fair. We've got him on loan from Villa. I think they got him from Real Betis, I think, you know, you guys decent.
00:20:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:20:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hmm.
00:20:46
Mark
He's looked good. I mean, he kept, he kept Liverpool quiet in his first game and he looked solid. I just, I think it depends on the buildup because if Bowen gets in behind, I think that's where the issue is going to be. I think, but ah but Moreno, he's looking solid.
00:20:59
Mark
I think Bowen's just a very good player. So we'll just have to see on,

on how he does. I think Bowen and I'd start Bowen and some of it. I think the the threat going forward is a lot. Who did some of the replace?
00:21:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
So it was Kudas, wasn't it? Kudas because of his red guard. Oh, what do you mean in the game?
00:21:13
Mark
No, but in terms of who did you come up with the events?
00:21:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, in that game. So Paquetta was on the left and then he got a ah very silly yellow card and he just wasn't doing very well. So took him off. Some of you came on and yeah, he had the bit between his teeth massively.
00:21:23
Mark
Oh, fun.
00:21:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
It was such a, such a good tactical change.
00:21:28
Mark
Yeah, I wonder i wonder how he'll set up because I think I reckon he'll he'll probably go for it against Forrest rather than against United. Although the second half position for you was almost more defensive and yet you looked way better at your formation. But I think I can i can see another draw because Forrest draw a lot of games. and I think we'll come out of the track's heart. I think we'll score first and I think Well, our issue is we can't hold them to a lead like against Leicester, against Wolves, against a few teams. You know, there's been one or two games at Liverpool and Southampton. We've held on, but we scored quite late. Whereas when we score in the first kind of 15, 20 minutes, we concede almost straight away, like within like the first three minutes. It's crazy. I think Wolves was like 70 seconds. um So I think
00:22:17
Mark
I could see it being, for us to come out hot, score a goal, and then you equalise before half time. And then it's kind of anyone's game after that. and I think it just depends how the second half goes, but I could i could see it being a one-all, but I could see it being like a really, i'd I'd love to, I'd love it to be like three-all. I've said that a few times against like Brighton and teams as well, but like, I feel like we've both got the quality to bang in a few goals. And I think having like a goal fest to be exciting to watch, wasn't it?
00:22:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Yeah. I completely agree. And I think I've got a feeling it's going to go a similar way to when we played Brentford, we scored or conceded basically in the first, you know, 20 seconds.
00:22:46
Mark
good evening
00:22:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
Um, cause yeah, we've just been starting so poorly and then it being quite a cagey game.
00:22:52
Mark
yeah
00:22:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
And then at some point in the second half, we managed to break through and get an equalizer. And then from there, I think the game becomes a bit more expansive because both teams want to attack and they want to get more than a point out of it. But I think it probably ends one one as well, to be honest.
00:23:09
Mark
Yeah, perfect. Well, there you go, that's rounded it all up. I've got to shoot off, but um thanks for listening, guys, and I hope you enjoy it.
00:23:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
