Ep. 10 - The Life of Two Showgays with Hayden Plastique

S1 E10 · Oops!! We're Talking Again...
Avatar
49 Plays11 months ago

This month, Oscar is joined by the one and only Hayden Plastique, a guest so full of personality and just enough chaos that he feels like he was born for the pod. Together, they dive headfirst into the latest pop culture circus, starting with Taylor Swift’s brand-new album announcement, The Life of a Showgirl, and her headline-stealing engagement to Travis Kelce. (Swifties, don’t panic, we’ve got you!)

From there, it’s all about the memes and madness of Cardi B’s trial, which has officially become the most unserious legal proceeding in her-story. We also take a closer look at Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend (spoiler: catchy, but maybe too same-y?), and briefly panic over Ariana Grande’s announcement of a mini-tour coming next summer because good luck getting tickets, babes.

Finally, we close with a messy but juicy detour into The Timepiece Gentleman scandal. A story of watch scams, fraud, and a prison sentence that proves you can’t con your way to the top forever. It’s camp, it’s chaos, and it’s everything you want in your pop culture podcast.

Tune in for laughs, tea, and a touch of shade only on Oops!! We’re Talking Again.

Speaker
Hi, and welcome back to Oops, We're Talking Again. i'm your host, Oscar Stutcheid. today is extra special because I have my very first guest joining me on the pod.
00:00:29
Speaker
And let me tell you, i think we're going to be starting off very strong today. He's hilarious, he's charming, he's ridiculously good looking, and his personality could light up the entire Chicago skyline.
00:00:41
Speaker
Please welcome the one and only Hayden Plastique. Hello, Oscar. Good to be here. I'm so excited.
00:00:52
Speaker
Oh my gosh, you have no idea. When i started putting together who I want to be guests on this pod and starting to schedule everything out, you were like right up at the top.
00:01:04
Speaker
You are so friggin' hilarious. Thank you. You know, crazy. a lot of people say that I'm very like, my light is very bright.
00:01:15
Speaker
People, people notice it. So I do, ah someone actually has told me this before. They're like, there's a lot of people that envy me because your light shines so bright. Take care of it because there is energy vampires. I just want to take your light away from you.
00:01:31
Speaker
And I've always felt like I've always like shine, you know? Yeah, no, I love it. Like, you just, there's something about you. And when we first met, we were in like, ah with a group of a bunch of people.

Memorable Vegas Encounter

00:01:44
Speaker
And i was just drawn to you and your energy. Oh my god, can we talk about the day we met?
00:01:51
Speaker
um my god So I was actually in Vegas to go see Anima at the Sphere with one of my friends. And we were just casually like, I think it was, I think we overstayed a day or i'm I'm not exactly sure what the dynamic of that was, but I think we were supposed to leave a day earlier, but then we ended up staying an extra two days. And then that's how we ended up hanging out with you or no, maybe we we stayed an extra day after we met you.
00:02:20
Speaker
Yes. Oh, I gotcha. it was It was a hot mess because we were actually going to, the night we met you, were supposed to leave, i think that same morning. But then something happened, some Vegas drama tea, honey. And we and ended up staying like an extra day or two. and ah flights were canceled and it was a mess.
00:02:39
Speaker
But yeah, the night we met you, we were just roaming around. I think it was at Caesars Palace or where was it? I was walking from Bellagio to Aria in that walkway, the Skyway.
00:02:50
Speaker
Okay. I honestly don't even know where we were headed to. We're going to go meet a friend. Yeah. You guys were going to the chandelier bar at Cosmo. Oh, yes. Yes, we were. yeah we' We're going to meet two friends actually.
00:03:02
Speaker
So, but I was actually not the first person that noticed you. It was my friend Rochella. Hey girl. They're scheduled to be on the pod too, which is exciting.
00:03:14
Speaker
Okay. ah You know, you're going love her on your pod. She is hilarious. She is loud. I love her. She's like a sister. and i normally don't get along with like other pretty twinks, but she's like the one girl that I could kind of like relate to a little bit, but like I can tolerate because I don't really like twinks.
00:03:33
Speaker
I'm a retired twink, honey.
00:03:37
Speaker
But yeah, so we were, I was walking in front of you guys and you guys were headed to Cosmo and I'd never met you or your friend group before. and do you remember what you, do you remember what you guys yelled at me?
00:03:52
Speaker
F word. It was faggot. um I was screaming. I was wearing this art pop sweatshirt, this like Lady Gaga art pop sweatshirt. And I was like, oh, here's a gaggala gaze. And I walked right past you guys. And then I hear faggot.
00:04:10
Speaker
And she was walking by herself, so we definitely gay bashed her. and we were like, where are you going, girl, by yourself in these lonely streets?
00:04:21
Speaker
And then, honestly, we had such a great time with you We met up our friends at the Cosmo. We did some cute little TikToks with some random girl at a bar.
00:04:32
Speaker
and then we met our friends. Then Oscar took us back to um his pent suite at the Bellagio, which was very nice.
00:04:44
Speaker
And lo and behold, I have never seen this movie before, Wicked. They had like a full-blown Wicked theme concert, and it it was it was wild.
00:04:56
Speaker
Correction, everybody else did. i i was like shocked. i look They're doing like a full-blown wicked performance in my hotel room. you you In the middle of the night.
00:05:09
Speaker
You were also participating. Okay, I guess I was a little bit. Honestly, but like before that. Yeah. I had never seen the movie, which is crazy because I'm not like a musical type of gay.
00:05:20
Speaker
But when I first saw Wicked, like literally like just like a couple of weeks ago, I was like blown away. wow I don't like musicals. I just I think they're boring.
00:05:31
Speaker
However, i i didn't like the singing in the movie, but I thought the movie was great. So I'm definitely excited to see the second movie coming out soon. I will definitely see that in theaters.
00:05:44
Speaker
It was so good. I'm not the biggest musical guy either, which is so ironic because I love Wicked.

Musicals and Drink Preferences

00:05:50
Speaker
And I don't know exactly why I don't seem to like other musicals, but Wicked is up there and I do like Phantom of the Opera.
00:06:00
Speaker
I've never seen that. Yeah. the And that that one, watch the movie first. The movie is really, really good. Can I tell you, i went to go see Death Becomes Her.
00:06:11
Speaker
Oh, yeah. And yeah, on Broadway, because like the cast from New York, they were in Chicago and I met the cast at Sidetrack. And one of the characters, who's a man, of course, he was so handsome and good looking.
00:06:26
Speaker
But then I also met his husband that same night. And I was like, okay, goodbye. But I met his friend, like his fag head, Sara, who's so beautiful, very New York, bronky, you know?
00:06:37
Speaker
And she's like, oh, you guys should come to our show. So we actually went to go see Death Becomes Her. And honestly, it was so good. And it wasn't until the end that I realized that Michelle Williams from fucking Destiny's Child, Beyonce, was the fucking villain in the movie. I was shocked.
00:06:58
Speaker
She did such a great job. Like the whole production was just amazing. So I'm not really a theater gay, but I can appreciate certain, and you know. Yeah. I feel like there's always exceptions to the rules, right? like Exactly. Yeah. You think you don't like something, but there's always going to, you're always going to find something to like about it.
00:07:19
Speaker
Of course. Death becomes her. I, I, I kind of wanted i to see that show because I i love the movie so much. When I heard that they were turning it into a musical, I'm like, that's right up my alley.
00:07:32
Speaker
But then I was also nervous. Like if I do go see it, am I going to just absolutely hate it? you know i loved it. It was yeah fucking awesome. I wish I had better seats, but I enjoyed it regardless.
00:07:45
Speaker
I love that. That's great. So what are we drinking today, honey? Yeah. I am, have you have you ever had one of these? I'm drinking Surfside. I've never had that, but it sounds very straight.
00:07:59
Speaker
Think about like a white claw, but better because these don't have bubbles in them. They're flat, but they're like, they're like iced teas with different flavors in them. You could have like a black cherry surf side or strawberry or raspberry. This one's just iced tea and lemonade, but it's a vodka drink with tea, lemonade, natural flavors.
00:08:21
Speaker
They're only, which I love. There's only one gram of sugar and they're a hundred calories. I've been obsessed with these for like months and i can't stop. I can't stop. like They're so delicious. So if you ever see these, you got to try them.
00:08:34
Speaker
Yeah. So after I heard the word flat, I stopped paying attention because I don't drink anything flat. I need the carbonation. Like, Coke. like Oh, really?
00:08:46
Speaker
Give me the carbonation. Yes, it's so good. like When I heard that, I was like, oh, no, disgusting. I can't do it. But anyway, today i am drinking Monaco. I need you to try this because this is literally crack in a can of I mean, I don't condone crack, but it's literally like two shots of vodka in a can. But if I drink two of these, I am lit, honey. I am tore up.
00:09:11
Speaker
I'm twirling. I'm dancing. I'm shaking my clothes off. It's usually, it's a drink I have before sex. Next time I see you, I'll make sure I'm well-stocked in them. Okay. No, honestly, in order for me to have sex with someone, I don't know if this is true for you, but like, I've never had sex sober. I need to be drunk.
00:09:31
Speaker
um I think they make programs for that.
00:09:37
Speaker
I am screaming. No, I can have sex pretty sober. Sex definitely can be more fun after a couple cocktails, I think, for either party.
00:09:47
Speaker
But no, I definitely still enjoy sex sober. um I'm screaming, I can't. So wait, back to what you're drinking though. So what, tell me about what it is. So is it, so I'm assuming it's a carbonated.
00:10:01
Speaker
has a little bit of carbonation. There's two shots, 7% alcohol, but it's very like citrusy kind of tastes like a vodka Red Bull, but like, oh no, it's just, it's so delicious. And I've only ever had these in Chicago. Cause I, ah so I used to live in Texas for like 10 years and they don't sell these there because of the alcohol concentration. Oh, it's too high.
00:10:21
Speaker
Yeah, but um they have them in Chicago, honey. And you know what's crazy? and Before the podcast, I had to go to the store to go do a liquor run. They were like, oh, we can't sell it to you until like after 12. And I was like, oh, that's crazy. Because when I lived in Texas, that was a rule there. But I didn't know they brought that shit over here.
00:10:41
Speaker
Is that for any liquor or just certain liquors? don't know. Because I've never heard of that here. i mean, in Texas, like it's common to like, you're not allowed to like buy like alcohol after like till after 12 on Sundays. But I didn't know that Chicago had the same rule till today. Oh, that's right. It's Sunday. We are recording this the day before our listeners. We're recording the day before Labor Day. And then our listeners will hear this on Wednesday. We do have funny liquor laws here on Sunday, too. But I think stores open at 11, I think, on Sundays.
00:11:13
Speaker
But then it's eight o'clock during the week, eight in the morning. Well, it sounds like we're both off to a great start to our Sundays. um We'll be feeling good by the end of this pod.
00:11:24
Speaker
Oh, for sure. I'm on my second one today. Nice. Well, shall we get into some of our pop culture moments and hot takes from the last week?

Celebrity Gossip and Excitement

00:11:35
Speaker
Yes. Let's talk about the pop girlies. So this is a tiny bit of slightly old news, but we have Taylor Swift announcing her next record, which comes out in about a month called Life of a Showgirl.
00:11:51
Speaker
But since the announcement of the record... We all know that she is now engaged.
00:12:01
Speaker
And everybody is talking about this. So what are, what's your take? How do you feel about Ms. Swift and her engagement to Travis? Yeah.
00:12:12
Speaker
So I honestly feel very happy for her because i feel like throughout her whole career, she's had very like awful like relationships that have been an inspiration for a lot of her work and music.
00:12:29
Speaker
So i don't know. I feel like for her, i feel like he really is the one And i am so happy that she has found that. I cannot phantom or picture her doing and album about Travis ever.
00:12:45
Speaker
Because I feel like they're so in love and it's so genuine. It feels so real. You know what I mean? and she looks so happy. feel like it's a very healthy relationship. And I like the way that this is going.
00:12:57
Speaker
Now, mind you, will say I've never been a Swifty or like a huge Taylor Swift fan. and what's crazy is that my one of my best friends his sister called me out because she asked what my favorite taylor's songs were and they weren't even singles they were like um you know tracks here and there and albums and i was shocked i'm like Oh, you're right, girl.
00:13:27
Speaker
She's like, that's a deep cut. That's not even the singles. He's not even a fan of the singles. He's a fan of like the other songs. Yeah. yeah because like I can't even think of the name of that song right now, girl. I mean, she has a like hundreds of songs. Literally.
00:13:43
Speaker
a lot of my favorite Taylor Swift songs are songs that were never singles. And that's just... I mean, she had she has some really... In my opinion... And there's a lot of haters out there, but I find a lot of her music to be very well written. And i think, is she the best singer on the planet? No, but this woman can songwrite.
00:14:06
Speaker
I really... really really really like a lot of her work and like i'm very excited to see ah go ahead and oh so i was like literally driving my car the other day and i was listening to bad blood and i was listening to the lyrics not going back to her songwriting and i was like wow this relates to like my current situation with a friend where we're just like i guess you can say like frenemies in a weird way. but and and like I was like, oh, i these lyrics are insane.
00:14:41
Speaker
And then Dancing With their hands yeah like one of Our like one of my favorite songs before I like even knew like who Taylor was or met my friends who were like obsessed with Taylor. i was like And I listened to That song came on right after that one. I was like, oh, wow.
00:14:56
Speaker
Interesting. That's a good song too. Yeah. So I do like her. I wish I would have went to her heiress tour actually, because i I saw the movie and I thought it was great. And now I wish I had like the actual like experience of being there. But I guess I became a fan after the heiress tour.
00:15:16
Speaker
I was really lucky because it was a bloodbath getting those tickets. And I was really lucky that I was able to go with my boyfriend. And then we were able to bring four of my friends along. So it was i I believe it was six of us that went together and we had the best night. It was so fun.
00:15:32
Speaker
She performed the same weekend as Minneapolis Pride. So it was just an overall really nice weekend. and Okay. so I think the last thing that I'm excited about with Miss Swift is the actual record that will be coming out early in October.
00:15:49
Speaker
So like I mentioned, the album is called Life of a Showgirl. And what's exciting is she's been working a lot with Jack Antonoff on a lot of her works.
00:16:00
Speaker
And this new record, she's working with Max Martin, who if anybody knows anything about pop music, Max Martin is the King producer of all the bangers. We're talking Oops I Did It Again, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys.
00:16:17
Speaker
He's written some of the top songs on the planet and she worked with him on this record. So I think we're going to see her go in a little bit of a different direction versus the last few records that she's had.
00:16:30
Speaker
And I can't wait. I think we're going to have some really interesting tracks to listen to next month. Honestly, I'm kind of excited because when I heard the title for the album, it reminded me of Showgirls with Elizabeth Berkley.
00:16:45
Speaker
That movie is so good. Have you seen it? Yeah. Yeah. So like, I was like, okay, this is going like in a and a different direction. Like this is like new Taylor to me. Like,
00:16:57
Speaker
it's different than anything she's ever done. like You know how artists like to like create like different characters for different albums? Like when Gaga did Joanne, like you know what I mean?
00:17:10
Speaker
feel like this is that kind of vibe. So like I'm excited. It's giving like Vegas, Showgirl, just like diamonds and feathers and just like Oh, oh my God. So speaking of all the, so the guy that made her clothes for like the covers, is his name is Philippe Blonde.
00:17:28
Speaker
He's in New York Fashion Week. And he's actually one of my favorite designers. He does all the girls like Beyonce and Katy Perry and anyone who's anyone like he has costume design is like amazing so he has a show in September I want to go see it but I'll see if I can like finagle my way into New York in like two weeks oh my gosh that's coming up I know well what's crazy is like his like tickets for his like fashion show are like more expensive than Beyonce tickets
00:18:00
Speaker
Oh my gosh. so the the The cheapest ticket is $900, girl. And if you want to like sit in a VIP, it's like 4K. think I'll rob someone.
00:18:11
Speaker
No, I was going to say, no, thank you. Not for that. Okay. Not for that amount of money. no Honestly, though, I've been a fan of his work for years since I was like a little gay baby. I might go see him.
00:18:23
Speaker
Well, you have to keep me updated if you end up going. I will. You know, I'll be there. All right, let's go talk about um Cardi b's trial. Girl, I am gagged. This woman is a character and she's been a character her whole life.
00:18:40
Speaker
Like, I just think it's so funny how unserious this trial is. Yes. What do you think about it? Well, okay. for listeners that aren't quite in the know about this, because it's been so hilarious.
00:18:55
Speaker
Cardi B is getting sued for $25 million dollars from security guard security guard from the hospital or medical center where her OGBYN was at.
00:19:09
Speaker
Her vagina doctor. Her vagina doctor. That's one of the memes. That's okay. But she was going there. Yeah. But she was going there because ah she was she found out she was pregnant.
00:19:23
Speaker
And this security guard allegedly was recording her. And Cardi B didn't want anybody to know that she was pregnant. And so that allegedly there was this altercation.
00:19:35
Speaker
And the security guard says it got physical and that Cardi B, I believe, scratched her and in the face. But ultimately this happened years ago and now this lawsuit is being broadcast and is happening the court case is being broadcast and is happening right now. But the lawsuits are 25 million and Cardi B is testifying and on the stand and Cardi B was already a character, a personality, so funny And it's so unserious, this trial. I think the defense attorney representing this security guard, I can't think of her name off the top of my head, but ah her defense attorney, this guy, i think, I don't know, went to TikTok University. Like, he just does not seem like a very good He doesn't seem like a very good attorney to me. And i cannot see I cannot see them winning this case. I think this is a waste of time. I think it's a waste of taxpayers' money. And I think Cardi B is going to win in this lawsuit.
00:20:36
Speaker
I just think what's crazy is that this, the girl that's suing her is alleging that she had to get plastic surgery to fix the scar whatever damage she like had done to her face.
00:20:49
Speaker
I'm like, girl, be so for real. Like here your, your face your face card is declining wherever you go. You are a security guard.
00:21:01
Speaker
Okay. yeah Girl, please. Like, you know, like I've had work done on my face and it's like this and that, but like, she's definitely out for money. i mean, it's Cardi B, you know, she's worth millions. So like anyone can see her for whatever, you know, i just think it's fraudulent.
00:21:20
Speaker
They're like asking, how do you know she's bigger than you? She's like, 130 pounds. i mean, a look, and she's like doing hand gestures and she's like pointing at her eyes. She's like, you can clearly see this girl big as a bus.
00:21:33
Speaker
and she's And I'll put some in our visual recaps that are on the pods Instagram. I will throw in some memes so people can go and watch some of these because they are so funny clips from the trial. It's just gold. It's once again, i feel like it's a complete waste of time for both parties and Honestly, and I think that's why she's so taking it so unserious. Unserious, yeah. And why she's just going in there very glamorous, very beautiful. She looks very nice. I like her outfits. i like her wigs.
00:22:04
Speaker
She's just like, oh, you know what? I'm just here just because I am forced to be here and I'm taking this trial serious because I know I'm not going to lose. Like, this is foolish. And like, I love that.
00:22:14
Speaker
And if anything, i mean, court's extremely expensive and obviously Cardi B can afford to defend herself in this. And I don't know if she's countersuing for court costs, but I kind of hope she is. I would countersue for defamation of character. Yeah. and Yeah, so we wish Cardi the best. I think at most people are on her side with trial. I am definitely on her side because I just, I work in healthcare care and I know it's like a big HIPAA violation if you like record patients or share their like
00:22:48
Speaker
personal documents and health history. So I will say that the security guard, like, i mean, i get it. You're like a regular person. You're thinking that you're seeing this celebrity, but in healthcare, you can't record people inside a facility.
00:23:03
Speaker
That's just not acceptable. Like, you know what I mean? and And- Especially if you're security, especially if you're security, you should be doing your job. You can't be taking out your phone and recording patients.
00:23:16
Speaker
yeah it's it's a big violation and i don't side with the security guard on that so i can see how cardi would be defensive of that because like you know as a patient you're going to seek medical help or see a medical professional and you don't think that you're going to be like out it or, you know what I mean? That's where you go to feel safe. And like, you know, you're just there to get care and you shouldn't be like on the tabloids or any of that.
00:23:45
Speaker
You think you're in a safe space and, you know, she had security with her and she wouldn't even let him up with her to, he had to stay on the first floor or whatever, because, and you know, she's a big celebrity and she didn't want anyone to know that she was pregnant, including her team, that she wasn't ready to disclose that.

Music and Tours

00:24:03
Speaker
Let's talk about Sabrina Carpenter now. They just dropped a new album. How do you feel about that? As a lot of the viewers know, if they've listened to past episodes, I'm a huge Sabrina Carpenter fan. i have been with her podcasting.
00:24:18
Speaker
pretty much day one, back when she was releasing music at 15, 16 years old. And some of my favorite songs of hers are from you know her first couple records, which were forever ago.
00:24:32
Speaker
So when she released ah Short and Sweet, I was so lucky that I was able to get tickets and go with my friends and we had the best time. So now we have this new album that just dropped, I believe, two days ago.
00:24:47
Speaker
And her new record is called Man's Best Friend. And I took a full listen to it. Was it last night or the night before? Basically, right when it came out, I listened to the whole thing through twice.
00:25:01
Speaker
only came out? Yes, it came out on... I'm sure that ain't now. Yeah, today's Sunday. I think it came out on Friday. i need to go so i listen to heaven.
00:25:12
Speaker
Yeah, I listened to the whole thing, and I will say I'm going to give it another couple listens because it sounds a lot like short and sweet. I thought it was going to be a maybe a different vibe.
00:25:22
Speaker
So I don't know if she's working with some of the same... team that she worked with to produce short and sweet. But I found a lot of the songs kind of sounding similar, but I just need to listen again. But I'm a fan.
00:25:36
Speaker
um I wish her all the best as she continues to get bigger and bigger every year as a star. And i think people were really excited for this record. I have not looked at reviews. I have not not gone on a deep dive about what people are saying or thinking or have opinions on this music. But um just the one or two times I listened to it, I didn't think it was anything super remarkable.
00:26:01
Speaker
But that could change as I listen to it again. Well, speaking of bigger and bigger, the wildest story is that I was actually at Coachella the year that she was like performing before she became this like big pop star.
00:26:18
Speaker
And yeah, a huge star. Yeah, my best friend's like husband like texted us. He's like, oh, you guys should go see s Sabrina Carpenter. She's there this year. like She's up and coming.
00:26:31
Speaker
go see her. She'd be cute. And we totally ditched her. And this was around the time that like Espresso was like blowing up everywhere. but but It wasn't until after Coachella that Espresso like really became like that song, you know? and Everyone was like bopping it whatever. And honestly, she grew on me. like i wish I would have seen her a little bit because like you know that would have been cute.
00:26:57
Speaker
There's a couple of songs that I like about her. like and like her style, like her look. You know, her boyfriend. is she still dating him? No, so this whole record is about the breakup.
00:27:08
Speaker
oh wow. Honestly, like, he is not the most attractive man. No, no. He's very interesting looking. i will say very interesting for her to date someone that looks like that.
00:27:22
Speaker
Barry somebody ah was her ex's name, who I believe is an actor. Yeah, he's- And Sarden actually started in at least one of his music videos, or her music videos.
00:27:35
Speaker
We're not here to like judge somebody's looks, but he he is. He just has a different look about him, and it's not good or bad. It's just the reality of how he looks. Exactly. And Hollywood can fix that, baby.
00:27:49
Speaker
But no, no hate on her ass. She was born with it.
00:27:56
Speaker
So, Hayden, I know you're not the biggest Ariana Grande stan or fan like me. I've... um i've gotten really lucky to be able to see her world tours whenever she comes to the Twin Cities.
00:28:10
Speaker
And it's been years and years since she's gone on a tour and she just announced a mini tour for next summer. Tickets go on sale September nine And it's going to be a bloodbath because it's a short tour. It's only specific cities and dates.
00:28:28
Speaker
ah Most of them are here in the States. I think I noticed, was it a couple Canada dates? And then is she going across the pond? I don't remember. But she's going to Chicago, i think, for two dates.
00:28:42
Speaker
um But she's not coming here to the Twin Cities. But you can notice it, man. I know, right? Exactly. Okay, here we go. She's doing um ah Montreal and then she has...
00:28:57
Speaker
five dates in London, but August 3rd and 5th, she'll be in Chicago. And it's ah she's at the United Center. So I think that might be kind of a fun little trip. I can come visit. And yeah i think that would be really, really, really cool. But I just wanted to mention that even though I know you don't really follow her, but I think she's been so busy with Wicked and she'll be coming out of doing all the press and everything from the second movie.
00:29:28
Speaker
And she's expressed interest in wanting to perform and go on tour. And now that this has come out and been released, it is going to be very hard to get tickets, but I am excited to try to get tickets and we'll just see what happens with that, with this tour.
00:29:45
Speaker
So I guess the last topic for this main segment that we have, Hayden, is we thought we might talk about the timepiece gentleman.

Personal Stories and Future Plans

00:29:58
Speaker
And if you don't know who he is, i Where do you even begin? He's scammer. And Hayden, why don't you let everybody know who this man is and then your connection to him?
00:30:17
Speaker
and so no one no one knows about him or my connection to him because I've never publicly outed someone like this before.
00:30:29
Speaker
However, when I was a young gay boy living in Dallas, i ran into Anthony Farr and at this straight club. And it's so wild because like this club club was very like, it was trap night. So they played very like ah different kind of music and attracted a very different type of crowd.
00:30:53
Speaker
Anyone who had money like went there and like they were like, you know just blow it up so like i used to go in there all the time because i was attracted to the men that were there And i remember this one time i went in there and I was literally just going in there to go pee and then go home because like I was just done for the night.
00:31:14
Speaker
And I ran into Anthony as he was like walking out and he like grabs my hand, literally grabs my hand, snatches it. He's like, you're going home with me. And I was like, OK.
00:31:30
Speaker
The weirdest thing was i legit told him, and like, wait, before I go home with you, I just need to let you know that, mind you, I was in drag.
00:31:40
Speaker
I am a, at the time, I guess. i mean, still not. I was a very like feminine boy, but like I was wearing makeup. I had heels and a wig and a dress and I looked very beautiful.
00:31:52
Speaker
So was like, oh, okay, as long as you understand that I'm not like a woman or a girl and i don't know if you're drunk or not, then it's cool. So ended up going home with him. And he is, I think, currently in prison for scamming $5 million dollars out of personal clients that he was selling watches for. Mm-hmm.
00:32:19
Speaker
Yeah, so if anyone doesn't know, mean, I could go into this too, but if anyone doesn't know who were exactly we're talking about, his nickname and like really business model revolved around this guy character that he made for himself called the Time Piece Gentleman because he would allegedly buy watches and sell them.
00:32:44
Speaker
by he kind of operated as a Ponzi scheme. So he would be, take people's money, spend it, and then try to get more watches to get to the clients that he owed money to. And they were never really the watches that the clients wanted.
00:33:04
Speaker
i think he dealt with some fake watches too, which is not good, but he was essentially scamming millions and millions of dollars from his clients and to fund his lavish lifestyle.
00:33:18
Speaker
I think this saying is robbing Peter to pay Paul. Mm-hmm. Yep. Okay, so I'm going to spill some very like big tea right now.
00:33:29
Speaker
The biggest scam that he pulled, besides robbing people out of $5 million, dollars was scamming into topping him in full drag. yeah that that's That's the biggest scam of the century, honestly. Because, bitch, I was wearing, was in a wig. And I'm like, you're supposed to be straight. You're supposed to fucking me. But, like, girl, that was wild.
00:33:59
Speaker
But you know what? deserve life sentence for that one. Exactly. i will say there was a lot of alcohol involved. So then we went to Walgreens. And we were buying lube.
00:34:11
Speaker
And the whole entire time I'm thinking, oh yeah, he's buying this lube to fuck me. Literally. no we bought the lube I could fuck him. And drag in a wig. screaming.
00:34:23
Speaker
i would need like a, if I were you, I would need like a Viagra and i don't even know if I could do it. I was so turned up because at the time I wasn't even like really inches hopping because I was really like feminine and pretty and twinkie.
00:34:36
Speaker
And in my twenties, I was not about that life until I met my husband, know? Yeah. But it was just so weird. I was like, okay, I guess I'm doing this. Like I'm thinking you're the man, but now I'm the woman and the man.
00:34:49
Speaker
I don't have the any article pulled up right now, but do you remember what he was sentenced to? How long? don't. tone I want to say it was five years, but I could be wrong about that.
00:35:02
Speaker
Let's look up. let's Let's go Google. Anthony Farah. Okay, it looks like he was up for a maximum of 20 years in federal prison, but it looks like he was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison, and the amount of fraud was $5.6 million. dollars Wham.
00:35:25
Speaker
Okay, well, I guess he'll be out on the streets before we know it again, and he'll probably come up with a new... and a scam. Yeah. Samantha and Scamantha. Yeah.
00:35:38
Speaker
And that is the timepiece, gentlemen, people. So look him up if you haven't. His story's wild. So Hayden, thank you so much for wanting to be on the podcast.

00:36:37
Speaker
um And one of my Chicago girls that I've actually, and met her when I was 16 years old. when I was not even allowed in the club, but they still let me in. um Her name is Lila Starr.
00:36:50
Speaker
She's actually competing in this pageant and tonight. She's a trans artist. She's beautiful. She works at KKL Lounge here and there. I've known her for years and she's so amazing, so beautiful.
00:37:02
Speaker
But I also met Miss Princess Rosette in Vegas when I was there with you. oh karranana And um yeah, so she's also a competing artist there. So we're going to go see the girls. We're going to see them compete.
00:37:21
Speaker

00:37:32
