A little announcement

Simon is on holiday, so we're interrupting our usual podcast schedule with a review of a classic episode from Christmas Day 2008! We thought it would be primarily about Vic falling through the frozen lake, but it turned out to be largely about rabbit stew and rural church ownership battles, which on balance we probably enjoyed more.

Classic ep (with special guest Tamsin from Pop Goes the Tam Tam!): Katie Sugden's death (Emmerdale 5th Feb 2015)

It's been a curious time in Emmerdale village - whilst an awful lot has been going on, there also seems to have been no real narrative progress in the last two weeks, but we still found a way to talk for over an hour about whether or not Joe Tate now has a side parting, why Lewis and Vinny's first kiss had to be quite so public, and which members of the Emmerdale cast Simon could win a fight against (not many).

Are sheep an aphrodisiac? (Emmerdale 23rd February - 6th March 2026)

It's been a busy couple of weeks in Emmerdale, with Bear's confession and arrest, Victoria leaving, Cain's cancer journey etc - so naturally we discuss Manpreet being one of the lads, Robron's curious sign obsession and the flimsiness of the Home Farm staircase.
