Robert Sugden, please be less evil (Emmerdale 5-16 October 2026)

Dingle All The Way: an Emmerdale podcast

Transcript

Speaker: Hello and welcome to Dingle All The Way. I'm Lizzie. I'm Simon. And happy birthday Emmerdale. is it? Happy birthday Emmerdale. Yeah, happy birthday Emmerdale. I can't tell you how many years it's been going but I have seen a lot of content coming up on my social media feel fields, feeds, fields, very agricultural. Right in the farming content, yes. um Saying happy birthday to Emmerdale and happy birthday to them so it must be some sort of anniversary and I think they have uploaded the first ever episode of Emmerdale onto YouTube, where it was on ITVX before, but now you can watch on YouTube, so presumably internationally. And I have watched it in the past, and I found it very charming and quite slow-moving in a way that I imagine, Simon, you would find infuriating and not persist with to the end of the episode. Yeah, i sort of assume it's turgid, but I wish them every single happy return of the day. was it, well, it must be like 65 is my guess? I don't know. I don't know either. And that this is the kind of thing that as as an Emmerdale podcast, we should know. That's so true. But... Bear with I suppose. kind of making me wish I hadn't brought it up because we have hours for ourselves. Yeah, you've really got us off to a horrible start. 54th birthday. gosh, I really overage them. 54. Is that it?

Speaker: Yeah. ah Thanks... for those who mentioned last week, ah the answer to our big question of who is the mysterious cafe child? And we learned in the very next episode that it was Dottie, which we did get, well, you guessed. Yeah. And we also learned that everyone on Reddit hates us.

Speaker: There's definitely a community of people who wishes we wouldn't. ah Look, we're churning out all this content for you guys. i know. lot People were like, I can't believe you're trying to like, get people to listen to your podcast here. It's like, we don't get anything from this. This isn't monetized. We don't receive anything. Sorry for helping you engage with the content about the soap that you clearly dearly love.

Speaker: Yeah, we won't do it again. i wouldn't dare try to introduce fans of the Emmerdale show to an Emmerdale podcast. You're right. It was horrible of me to do that.

Speaker: Yeah, really people really took against us. But you know, engagement's engagement. Yeah, true. Any publicity is good publicity. Yeah. Even when we're being accused of, what was it they said, shilling their podcast.

Speaker: Shilling their podcast. Like, would i'd earned a single shilling from this? Yeah, I mean, certainly it's more of an expenditure than anything else. I'm paying for Zencaster. You're paying for Zencaster and I'm paying in time, I suppose.

Speaker: Yes. No more than you. Not anymore. um So where should we start? what's the what's What's going on? um i wrote in my notes uh that i've been making on my phone while watching emmerdale i wish chrissy would leave and then realized i was meant to write sadie we all yes chrissy sadly rip'd at some point um you're not you're not taking to sadie i just think that there was quite a natural point for her to leave the village and that was this week

Speaker: Yeah, so I'm really pleased that Nicola has found out the truth. I'm glad that she found out at the funeral so that um she could bury Jimmy without believing ill of him. Yes, he was an idiot.

Speaker: And yes, he was giving away money without permission. He was very lovable and he wasn't having an affair. He was not having an affair. And it's amazing how many people in the village think that she should just get past what Sadie's tried to do. like I know it's for storyline reasons to keep her around, but...

Speaker: All Sadie had to do was be like, oh but I really did need the money that I was swindling out of them. And everyone's like, oh, yeah, I get it.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. oh Poor Nicola. But um yes, I'm glad that we got a bit of a sort of telling off from her. She shoved her into a pile of earth. with a Yeah, that was great. a pity it wasn't into the grave, but maybe...

Speaker: maybe someone on the sidelines was like we don't have the health insurance to uh push matt patty palmer not patty palmer to name patty kensit into an open grave not again we have had quite a few people in graves recently brackets ruby so maybe they just thought too much too soon done and done what i would say to um sadie is if you are really hard out for cash hiring a helicopter to transport you to the village possibly a mistake That's one of the things I wrote down. i was like, I'm still waiting to find out why she arrived in a helicopter if she's that destitute. Maybe that's where all her money went. She's like, I was doing okay, but I spent £10,000.

Speaker: I don't know how much it cost to hire a helicopter for the day, but let's say £10,000. Probably. Yeah, much as I think it's a very low blow of Robert not to be giving Nicola the money, I am glad that it's been found because I don't know if I could have sat through many more scenes of people trying to find the money and not finding the money and just like looking in drawers, looking in lockers. At one point, Sadie delivered the line, wherever Jimmy hid that money, he never intended it to be found. And you think,

Speaker: wow that's groundbreaking also assuming he wanted to find himself and he and the fact that he's he hid it in a locker that apparently Robert just walked in wrenched it open say how flimsy are these lockers Nicholas seemed very shocked that anybody else was in the locker room when when she went to go and collect it the fact that she could hear a voice in the distance was truly perturbing to her true in a kind of semi-public space I suppose I was wondering where they filmed those golf club scenes it didn't look like a set it looked quite real I wonder if they've got like a staff lockers somewhere or maybe they just went to a local gym or something.

Speaker: Yeah, maybe. Gym on the Kirkstall Road. pi Maybe it was. We don't know. It was very desert deserted anyway. place was deserted. But apparently Robert managed not only wrench it open and steal the money but also sort of fix it clo locked again so that it could be locked when he turned up slightly later. Did Nicola definitely leave with the key? I thought that he must have gone back later.

Speaker: But are we saying he went there before? Oh, I thought he went before because they did get the locker it's there was nothing in it when Nicola Oh, interesting. Yeah, I just assumed he went back later, but could have been either way, I suppose.

Speaker: So what did Robert do with his money? He bought the hop, which I was realising is the place where Aaron's ex-boyfriend was murdered. Is that something that Aaron wants to cherish?

Speaker: It's certainly a significant play. I mean, no one cared about Ben and his murder was a huge blessing in a paper thin disguise. but But it was, i mean, it's weird the number of things that people do without asking their significant others in this past couple weeks. So Robert didn't ask Aaron for taking out a payday loan or some sort of loan.

Speaker: Um, Aaron didn't ask Robert before inviting people to move in Moira didn't ask people before inviting people to move in with her everyone's just like Ruby didn't ask Caleb about Sadie moving in that's true people are so many people moved and no one asked anyone who would be living I don't understand why yeah nobody communicates anything in this village it's just like the bare minimum is like do you mind if I move someone who you don't particularly know or like into the place where we live surely that's the bare minimum

Speaker: You think, oh my gosh. So yeah, I mean, I don't know why Robert set his heart on the hop. I don't know why it needs to open the very next day. know, he was obsessed with that. Also, I found it quite amusing that um in one episode, Gabby and Laurel were like, yeah, we've sold the hop. And then the very next day, Gabby says to Robert, well, no one else is going to buy the hide, so thank you. Like, even they don't know what this place is called. That gives me some hope because I've put it any number of things. I loved Gabby realising, or Sadie coming and telling her that Robert

Speaker: was defrauding her and then her like removing everything and the way she uh i just love the sass in the scene the confidence the little sort of i guess mini kim tate but sort of more charming than kim tate yeah gabby was great in that scene it was so good that's the gabby i want to see more of so i want more of that yeah absolutely and nice to see her like stronger and on better form because she has obviously had a horrible couple of weeks being in hospital i did think Not sure just how like realistic it is that you would be shifting all that furniture around, taking light for things down and having a go at Robert, having just got out of hospital with bronchitis or whatever it is. That's a good point, yeah. And it does seem, mean, we talked about how good the storyline was and in terms of pacing. It does feel like maybe she's fine now and it will never be mentioned again, which would be a shame.

Speaker: It would be a shame, but it would also be completely unsurprising. Yeah. She had a lovely reunion with Nicola, which was very sweet. Yeah, that was really nice. Yeah. We like a bit of forgiveness. we do like a bit forgiveness she also weirdly had a bit of a reunion with billy and um i think billy was at home farm and kim was like oh yeah oh no maybe it was laurel who said it somebody said to billy yeah gabby's in hospital she could really do with her friends around and so then he went and you think not really friends more just like ex-boyfriend who broke her heart and it's been awkward ever since but like sure you go visit her in her darkest hour She seemed to welcome it, for what it's worth. Yeah, for some reason. Because I don't think she's got a lot of friends. I mean, I guess her ex, we can never remember whether it was fiancé or husband, Vinny.

Speaker: And I guess Cammie and Lewis, but none of them seemed particularly pressed to come and see her. Her mum certainly didn't pop by. yeah wouldn't dare. She wouldn't dare. And probably for the best.

Speaker: Yeah, I mean, I always wanted to see more of Vinny's, but she certainly wouldn't help anyone. Does she live in Spain? Something like that. port Portugal, maybe? Yeah.

Speaker: A place in Europe. Yes. She's certainly somewhere hot. It's certainly somewhere warm. um But yeah, I mean, it's it is hard to know why Robert thinks that this is such a good investment.

Speaker: Yeah, and I think we touched on that a bit last episode, didn't we? Of like, we're not really sure, A, why he thinks this is such a good investment, but B, how he thinks he's going to have time to like run a farm and run a restaurant seems like a lot to me. Yeah, and he and apparently he's solved his conscience by the fact that Gabby gave the money or some of the money to Nicola. So he's like, Nicola's got the money eventually. It's like, well, I guess...

Speaker: I guess robbing from her and then getting it back to her via someone else you're cheating is yeah not getting any money to her. Nicola's got like a third of the money. o yeah the rest of it, he stupidly lay in a bag on a random chair in a pub. Well, that was his winnings from Oh yeah, that was the winnings the gambling. Sorry, I'm skipping ahead. but let's talk the gambling because i loved it and it was absolutely nonsensical it was completely unhinged but i was obsessed with claudette oh my gosh just like for someone who is quite a judgmental christian i do love the fact that you're clearly leaning into gambling but sure and and i she whipped out a poker visor and it made me realize like why or question at least why do poker players wear visors I don't know. i didn't know that they did. I think I just thought it was like an old woman visor. but

Speaker: I did Google it and it was like they do wear it. It's like well, I know they do. That's not the question I asked. I want to know why. Claudette, if you're listening, get in touch. Let us know. So it was quite a random group of people wanting to play poker together. And it was, i thought, quite random that Joe was like, sure, I'll just give you.

Speaker: all the money because I would not have thought you know i would expect to him to be like this is not legally binding i'm going to shoot you in the leg and take a hat think he wanted to appear like he because he was like yeah this is chump change like I think if he'd kicked up too much of a fuss then he would have outed himself as having I think not as much money as he wants people to believe I wonder whether he's run out of money Yeah, maybe. Or that he's at least, like, bordering on that.

Speaker: Because it it really seemed to mean a lot to him. Yeah. And didn't he just, like, pay the judge to increase Vinny's sentence and stuff? Oh, is that why that happened? I thought that was why that happened, but I'm not entirely sure.

Speaker: um i know, maybe it'll come back to some that, but do want to talk about that situation, because I was really intrigued about whether it's acceptable for a judge to say that she is making an example i know sometimes it happens but whether you're it ought to say out loud yeah um turns out you sort of can but he got 10 years in prison um and see if i can find the link i sent to myself to uh um to see what sort of sentence he should have got for this so i looked up the sentencing council.org maybe that was the thing sorry not me

Speaker: causing death by dangerous driving. you can This is the culpability under category A, B, or C. Basically, A is if you do it deliberately, if you do it a lot, if you ignore previous warnings, all sorts of things.

Speaker: B does include use of mobile phone or other electronic device, etc. C seems to be just like by accident and you couldn't really have helped it, I don't But it does say that this for B, you should get between four and nine years, maximum nine years custody. So it's not far off, but it's like, he's got a good grounds for appeal. I thought of like sentencing being, and not but I assume he won't appeal and we'll never hear from him again.

Speaker: Yeah, I think that just sort of is the end of of Vinny. But that's life. Yeah, so Paddy beforehand was very optimistically being like, you might just get home and Cammy was taking entirely for granted that he would go to prison forever. yeah Yeah, Cammy said a meaningful goodbye and has no doubt forgotten that Vinnie ever existed. Yeah, it's a shame that their friendship was entirely disregarded. As I needed Cammy, where is Cammy? Bring Cammy back on the screen. Bring Cammy back. He keeps sort of having like a glimpse into various scenes where he's not really properly around, which a shame.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm still really cross that... They gave him that big story that lasted an episode. it You know, Minnie tells Aaron that the dog won't be any bother. I believe it. Yeah, believe it. we'll never see it again. will never see that dog again. The dog does not really exist.

Speaker: You know who's taking it really well, though, to the point of not turning up to say goodbye or engaging in any way with him leaving? It's Eve, the half-sister he shares a house with. Oh, gosh, yeah. totally forgot about Yeah, she's just taking it all in her stride.

Speaker: yeah she's like i sit I mean, people in this house are always going to prison or maybe going to prison. I can't be expected to yeah engage with them. Why would she care? Also, doesn't Dylan still live there?

Speaker: oh he probably does. Yeah, I think he does. So, like, even though, obviously, they haven't known each other very long, you'd think that Dylan would care enough to say goodbye. yeah it's quite a random group of people who did turn up to the farewell um dinner at Lydia and Sam's house. Yeah, rabbit stew night.

Speaker: Yeah. I guess in some ways it's nice to show you that prison can't be all bad. who Yeah, prison will be less of a motley crew than the but average sort of dinner at Wishing World Cottage. Yeah.

Speaker: And the food will probably be rather nice. Hey, I trust the idea's cooking. Well, it's very rabbit-based. It is very rabbit-based, to be fair. Yeah, and then Mandy gets a call saying he's been beaten up. Do do they do that? Do they just phone me like, oh, FYI, your son's been beaten up?

Speaker: don't think they do. I think that tends to be the kind of thing that people find out on like a visit, isn't it? And you're like, gosh, you're all bruised. I was very impressed that she could get a phone call in the middle of a field.

Speaker: You know, got better signal around their rural area than mine. Yeah, true. And yeah, I was speaking to a friend in Wales today on the phone and I could barely make head or tail of what they were saying.

Speaker: Yeah. um So, i mean, i guess for a while, Mandy will be sad about this before she forgets she ever had a child, but maybe... Maybe, or maybe she'll go and visit him. Maybe it'll be good way to write her off next time she wants to have a day off or something.

Speaker: What, she's going to go and sort of stay at the prison for any time? Manny's gone to his own home. She'll be back next week. Manny's gone to Ireland. Don't tell anyone. She's unfindable.

Speaker: Oh, dear. Well, speaking of people who have been awkwardly written out, ah we have said farewell to Mac whilst Lawrence Robertson strictly come dancing, and he's gone on a three-month German agricultural course. I know. I did think that was completely mental when he sat down with Charity and was like, I'm leaving tomorrow for many months you're like i don't think that your employer would be allowed to do that to you and can you imagine what if the other people on that course will say so they'll be coming from i assume like huge farms very like professionally run and they'll be like so what's your workforce what's your output and he'll be like it its changes us by the day yeah know some people sort of work there some people sort of just live there some people

Speaker: like pop in to help out as a favor one or two of us have a vague knowledge of how farming works yeah not all of us by any means um i've had a lot of slurry mishaps in the past the main thing we do is just like repairing the fence in the top field i'd love if the first month is just focusing on fence repair it's just specifically for backfields Yeah, top field specific. yeah Yeah, I mean, it's ridiculous that when the farm is apparently so struggling to have people work at it and is at all times teaching on the edge of bankruptcy, but they are sending him off to do that.

Speaker: It's lovely, but it is farcical. Apparently, and I completely missed this, he did a little um nod to Strickley when he walked off for the last time. He did like a little shimmy.

Speaker: Oh, I miss this shimmy. have to go back and- I miss the shimmy. On shimmy watch. Shimmy watch. Add it as new feature. Who shimmied this week? Who shimmied? I want to make some sort of Jimmy shimmy joke, but sadly he can only shimmy in his grave now. Apparently he's not doing very well on Strictly, so he might be back from this course sooner than anticipated. Okay.

Speaker: They pulled the plug on all the learning. Yes, it's when they realised that his farm is only only just about technically a farm. yeah but But more so a farm than the one that Moira is apparently working on when Samson's, can't remember the right word, something officer.

Speaker: Probation officer? Probation, thank you. No, release officer? Something like that. Whatever it pop pop so She pops over to just have a little check and Maury's in the fields. Citation needed because where are these fields?

Speaker: Then pops in and it's horrible. I can't believe how angry she is. So it's like, Mattie lives here. It's like, Mattie moved in half an hour ago. Yeah, and you didn't ask anybody if you could move the soul And she just moved him into their child's bedroom whilst he's in prison. She must have known that wasn't going to down well. I literally have been so annoyed with more at Moira this week because like she has done nothing but complain about how crowded that place is and how she wishes she didn't have to live there.

Speaker: And then sounds like she went on a rampage and threw away lots of Lydia's property. Old toasted sandwich makers that apparently were like five of in that small kitchen. Yeah, I mean, that is a bit weird, but still.

Speaker: And then like just out of nowhere, was like, actually, Mattie's moving in. And you did say that this is my home just as much as yours. Like, yeah, people say that all the time, but that doesn't mean that you own the deeds to the house and you can control who lives there.

Speaker: Yeah, and I'm like, is it even technically a house? I feel like the probation officer might come like, this is just a shed that you curtains up in. This needs to be condemned, unfortunately. And it was weird, like, where Sam or Lydia was like, he literally has to live here on a through the paperwork, and Maury just disregards that. It's like, Mattie also has to here. It's like, Mattie has never lived here, but he's not slept a single night in this house. And sweet Mattie, of course, was like, this is, like, totally fine. Obviously, I'll leave.

Speaker: Like, why is he the most reasonable person there? And then Moira's just like... at one point, Moira shouted, Samson is not moving into this house. It's like, you don't get to decide that, babes. No.

Speaker: Yeah, Mattie, of course Mattie doesn't want to live there. It did amuse me why Mattie's reason for moving out um of Robert and Aaron's place, besides it being crowded... was he said, seeing them all so happy reminds me what i'm missing with Ames. I'd love to know precisely who is happy in that house. Because Jacob and Sarah are having a horrible time. Robert and Aaron barely seem to like each other currently.

Speaker: Yeah. And Serena, who knows what's going on with her. Yeah. I don't think I'd, and if anything, it really might comfort me in my widow status that things could always be worse.

Speaker: Yeah, true. Like, Jacob and Sarah have just found out that their daughter is not their daughter. In what world is that? Are you thinking, oh, this is what I could have had with Amy? Yeah, that's never something that I've given someone a congratulations card over. but there is a first time for everything.

Speaker: I do wish Robert and Aaron would ever show any sign of affection to each other. There's like times where I'm just a kiss on the cheek, which suggests that you weren't just tolerating each other. It kind of does feel like they're just living alongside each other. and It's like, has the have the actress fallen out or something?

Speaker: Maybe. Maybe one's got typhoid it or something. Yeah, or maybe the writers got wind of like you know the Rob-Ron obsession coming back in full force with people and they were like, no, we're not going to give them what they want. got to keep them.

Speaker: Treat them keen, maybe. Yeah. So yeah, Aaron involve invites, as we said, Jacob and his motley crew of half-relatives into the house ah without asking anyone. But also because they're desperate to get away from charity and they move to the other side of the village. like The idea of them moving to Houghton was apparently horrifying to to everyone. I wrote this down. It was like they were trying to decide whether to do this sort of big move all the way to Houghton. then like, it's just not that big of a deal. And so they were like, well, halfway house will just move within the same village. but I am never going to speak to charity again. And then the next day they're like, go to the pub that she owns and runs. And you're like, okay.

Speaker: Yeah. They truly couldn't be nearer to each other. And I mean, I do see where they're going, setting up like a Sugden household. And I love that we have that. Yeah. Hopefully Victoria will move back in there when she comes back. Oh yeah, that'd be so nice. And little Harry. um i don't know if I need Serena to stay around forever, but she is currently there. That's undeniable. She's there. But it does make you think,

Speaker: Isn't Victoria's house presumably just sat there empty at the moment? And like all of these people are cramming into and Lydia's and Aaron and Robert's. And like, there are probably unused properties just in the village. That's true. And we learned that um Aaron and Robert's old banister laden flat is apparently empty. No boiler, but still empty. yeah I mean, I don't have a boiler. So so true. And who needs heating?

Speaker: not i um yeah so i do like i do like we have a sugden setup it's farcical that it's happened um and who know who knows how many bedrooms are in there but at least at least they're acknowledging that sarah is a sugden and that seems to be quite purposeful because i mean her surname has always been sugden but she's never really seemed to notice She's never been very aligned with it.

Speaker: No. Yeah. um What else? Oh, I've got some more things about Sadie, I guess. So she goes, I think last time we looked, we talked about how um she told Kane that she'd lost their baby and someone on Reddit pointed out, or maybe we talked about this, but someone Reddit pointed out maybe she was pregnant, but she didn't lose it and that baby will turn up as a 20-year-old or something. Yeah, maybe. Maybe.

Speaker: Yeah, I can see that happening. like They love giving Cain random children or like children adjacent things. yeah just for another three you you hears them at three years at a time just someone pops in then and then someone fresh and then she told Ruby that she got out of not of an abusive relationship that wasn't physically abusive but was controlling and again it's like is that lying is she just like picking things that she thinks will play on people's emotions i yeah I mean I just sort of distrust everything that she says so quite possibly

Speaker: Yeah, um she's now got a job at ah the wine business because Ruby said to her, quote, you love wine as much as I do. Yeah, I wrote down when Ruby said, oh, you can work with me. What do you do? Literally, what does she do?

Speaker: Why, when she lives in a beautiful house, does she run her business out of a warehouse where she invites clients sit in a factory rather than sitting in her beautiful living room? It is all quite strange. And at the end of it, Sadie was like, don't worry, have a day off. I can draw up the contracts with the clients. Like, you started working here today. What makes you think that you know how to draw up a client contract? And why are you doing it at night? Do it tomorrow? Yeah, literally do it tomorrow. Very odd. I people must be incessantly getting new tax codes from HMRC in this village as they chop and change from their jobs.

Speaker: Perfect way to avoid tax, I imagine. Yeah, none of them are paying tax early. No. um Something interesting that did come up was um obviously Sadie kind of is fishing for information on Caleb and Ruby and something she can use against them and started probing Ruby about her dad, Anthony, what happened there. um and then when she fed that back to Joe, Joe was like, you don't need to know why, but just like, don't delve.

Speaker: And I couldn't really remember what happened. but i And I'd totally forgotten when I Googled it. Joe Tate helped Ruby because Ruby was like halfway through confessing to her dad's murder.

Speaker: And then Joe like pulled some strings and the police were like, oh, don't worry, he's been found in Spain. Like, did her a massive favour. And now he's trying to kill her and like tried to bury her alive and hate her. So why...

Speaker: so why Is he not just being like, oh, you know what? Yeah, she can go down for her dad's murder. Like, if he's really got it in for her that much. Well, it's I think it was because so that they didn't shop him for stealing Caleb's kidney.

Speaker: And they sort have like a tit for tat Okay, fair. But it does seem like he doesn't seem to be factoring the whole kidney thing into his current revenge plot. seems like we've done one thing each and that's that's over. So let's just... Now we're on a fresh arrangement. Yeah, okay, that makes sense. So was like, clearly...

Speaker: Like, if you resent her enough to try and kill her, then you could also resent her enough to send her to prison for life, but... Yeah, for yeah. No. like It's really bizarre how much he wants to destroy them, because, as we've said, their responsibility for Dawn's death is very tangential. Yeah, like, and surely he knows that now that Vinny owned up to it.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah, he seemed much less angry with Vinny who actually did it. so well, almost... Yeah, although, yeah, so are we saying that he paid the judge to give her it give him a longer sentence? I thought that was what was happening, but I don't know. oh I believe it, but I didn't, I mean, I wasn't necessarily paying full attention, so. Yeah, I mean, which of us are?

Speaker: Yeah, I'd say Joe is surprisingly bad at drunk acting. It took me quite a while to realise he was meant to be drunk in the scene. He was meant to be drunk. that's like That's how he was all the time. No offence to him, of course. He has been quite all over the place recently. So maybe that is literally how he is all the um And we've had another PSA about drunk driving, which there' there's so many like things about don't drink drive, don't drive distracted. And it is, you know, mid funeral, they might just stop for a quick break to warn us about the perils of of driving distracted. It's almost as relentless as how often we're seeing the Specsavers van at the moment. Yes. Have you noticed that? It's like multiple times an episode that Specsavers car is driving around. they not have any actual like eye tests to do?

Speaker: Yeah, it's clearly in some contractual things like we have to appear occasionally, but they've definitely over-egged the pudding on it because it just looks like they can't find people. You book an appointment and they will be circling your house for for four hours, but they're not coming through the door.

Speaker: Yeah, it does make Specsavers seem like the kind of workplace where nobody's really got enough to do because they're all just driving around the countryside for fun. and there's not um a huge number of glasses wearers. Now we've lost Vinny, there's want another one gone. on but Is it just Paddy left? Yeah, definitely Paddy.

Speaker: Marlon? I don't think Marlon wears glasses. think he might wear glasses. Charnock wears glasses, but I don't know if Marlon does. m keep an eye out so to speak um you're welcome but yeah i think quite a lot of them are just either well i guess spec savers does do contact lenses as well that's important to say that is really important and they do audiology audiology of course they do i had some earwax removed by suspect i was audiologist once did you that sounds awful most intimate experience of my life okay horrible lots to unpack that literally um i was i was getting tinnitus from it same wow sorry to share that and i know that i sort of forced that story down people's throats in a way that no one wanted yeah i mean i've also had wax removed from my ears but i found it quite a pleasant experience i'm glad it was from your ears from all manner of orifices no like felt like i was hearing in hd for a long time afterwards it was amazing yeah no the after effects is great it's just when there's someone so close to your face and i speak as a man who's had too much colonoscopies anyway

Speaker: ah It's just good to know where you stand, I guess, on like physical affection. Yeah, what's gone in where. It's great. ah Oh dear. You're editing this episode, yes see yeah. Yeah, I'm leaving it all in. It's all it' so good stuff. It's all high quality content. Speaker: Yeah, please. Let us know. the more invasive, the better. i actually don't want that. Sorry. No, you're right. I retract. um We're here for you if you need us, but surely there's better people you can talk to about like Please, let's say you've got a larger support network than two people you don't know.

Speaker: Oh dear. um I did enjoy, speaking of like Sadie friendships, the little wine gang. um Obviously... Yeah, I mean, I thought it was ridiculous, nice. It make any sense. The fact that Vanessa and Manpreet were that easily won over by having like, it's nice for people to have second chances. It's like, well, firstly, she had a zillion chances.

Speaker: And it's like, I mean, I know Nicola isn't super friendly with anyone apart from Laurel, but it is weird how much they're willing to be like, yeah, you did... try and convince our grieving friend that her husband was cheating on her. But on the other hand, you're keeping this room right now. Yeah, I think that was ridiculous. I wasn't a fan of that.

Speaker: I mean, I just i just want seen to man Preeton, you know that. like I thought she was so funny. you'll anything for them. Yeah, anything. um And I don't know what it was. Like someone someone asked some sort of rhetorical question and she mouthed no in a way that I really appreciated. She's so funny.

Speaker: I also just love her like facial expressions when she's listening into a conversation and she's always just like, ooh. Yeah, she's always surprised and intrigued. Yeah, we love the the blatant surprise and intrigue in her face.

Speaker: Yeah, and I hope Wine Gang becomes a thing because that little gang of friends, obviously Sadie will be out at some point and that's fine, but I'd love Ruby Manpreet and um Vanessa to hang out.

Speaker: Yeah, and it's the first time in ages that we've seen Vanessa. It's true, yeah. So that was nice. That was nice. And we've remembered that Mamrie and Ruby are apparently friends. Ruby's very good at making friends um and then never interacting with them. I had forgotten that they had that sort of quite tender time. Yeah. And it's weird that Sadie hates Ruby so much. She's like, oh, she's so patronizing to me like I'm a project. Well, she's just being nice to you. She wants to be your friend. I was thinking i feel bit sorry for Ruby because like she sort of can't win. Like when she's cold and detached, everyone everyone's like, wow, what a bitch. We hate her. And then when she's nice to people, they're like, you can't just make people into projects. You're so patronizing. You're like, well, what what do you want from me? She's just a lovely, slightly broken woman. Yes. She loves to invite ways and strays into the house without telling her husband.

Speaker: Exactly. And I am really pleased that her plot to s seduce Caleb hasn't gone anywhere because that would have been really annoying if they'd had an affair. I really don't want them to. I worry they're going to, but I really don't want The way he reacted to her putting a hand on the leg, I just don't think that's going anywhere. I think she's just going to do a few things that backfire and then Joe Tate's going to be like, you're more trouble than you're worth, get out.

Speaker: Yeah, I mean, everyone who offers help to other people and this is actually providing nothing of useful. It's like Robert's rummaging and her flirting. Or maybe she'll just say that they're having an affair without them actually doing it That is her thing to claim to have an affair with men who are happily married. That's, her that's you know, we don't want to yuck people's yums. I hate that expression so much. so And yet you're the only person I've ever really heard say it.

Speaker: You know, sometimes we are drawn to the things we most hate, I suppose. And that's why we're such good friends. I do those things. I was going to quit St. Paul. I do those things I do not want to do.

Speaker: Okay, well, well done for going all Roman seven on me. Is that where it is? think so. um anyway ah another sadie thing i something i did enjoy from her when lewis was telling sadie that he's broken up with vinnie and she clearly doesn't know who either threw of them are and just asked for milk it're like oh dad jim yeah yeah i did think um lewis went quite big and wasn't he sort of like crying and then she and i at this point was sort of more on her side than anything else like

Speaker: He's kind of, she's kind of just a random customer to him. And he was like sobbing and pouring his heart out. And you're like, gosh, that was a bit much. Can we find any connection between the two of them? I guess Kev is like a really good friend to Nicola.

Speaker: So there's that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Who to say? who is to say, I think I'm just down to like strays. I know that we've sort of rattled through quite a lot of stuff. but Yeah, we've sort of just spoken about random things relentlessly rather than really focusing on each plot point. But yeah, I've also got quite a lot of stray things to say. um One of which is that at one point, Rodney let Sadie in to Nicola's house, like for no real reason. and was like, yeah, just come on in Rummage.

Speaker: come and rummage and that was weird and then on the same day Rodney was wearing a very offensive like embroidered shirt while serving at the cafe and I just thought it's a weird shirt and surely not hygienic to have that many buttons undone working around food I should be working a tortoise let him lie down he's an old man he should be on bed rest he should be it's really weird seeing Rodney this often and I'm glad that he's been there for his daughter's big story but it doesn't feel right that to see him more than one episode a month. I know Like, do you think he like is going to now have the rest of the year off or something?

Speaker: i will never see him again. I assume. Maybe he'll just go on a traveling holiday or something. He did. The character, not the, yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Or both. We didn't know. We didn't know his life. Um, the way he was, it did amuse me when he was like, anything I can do to help. It's like, clearly you've got nothing to offer. Like why? Poor Rodney.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. He's not also not being, I'd say the most comforting person in the world. Um, but he's doing his best and it's bad. Yeah. He's doing all he can and more. Um, I quite enjoyed the scene between, um, Bob and Nicola.

Speaker: That was sweet. I thought that was quite sweet. did think it was weird how she was like the griefs that all the time, but sometimes it was like, your husband died like two weeks ago. So surely it's, it's not, it's not, it was Um,

Speaker: And yeah how they became friends again, even though her son was so her daughter was responsible. She's trying with Mandy, egg which, as we mentioned last time, they've never been friends. They don't need to be friends now.

Speaker: Unusual to try and recover a friendship that never previously existed, for sure. and we learn in that conversation that Kathy's never coming home. Yeah, I know. That's kind of what made me think of it, because of us maybe suggesting that Rodney might go on a cruise or something. i was like, oh yeah, Kathy went on that cruise and never came back.

Speaker: It's so weird that they had those two characters in the show for 18, 19 years and they never did anything. It's like, why bother to have them for all that time? Yeah, that it it would be a shame, wouldn't it? If you were like, oh, wow, I'm a really long running character on a soap, but my character doesn't do you anything.

Speaker: Yeah, they're up there with the like longest running characters now and actors. Yeah, I mean, I assume if Bob stays in the show and they give him more to do at some point, they'll come back recast as other people. Yeah, probably. not both. them One of them is technically dead. So I guess just Caffey.

Speaker: Yeah, probably not Heath, but... But certain things have happened. He could have been lying really still. Yeah, so true. Yeah, Graham could have been schooling them on the side on how to lie really still.

Speaker: Yeah, sadly, they dangle the dream of Graham going and he's he's back already. Yeah, I know. But did you notice that when Graham was looking after that baby, he wasn't wearing a suit and tie. He was wearing a shirt, but it was black.

Speaker: I didn't notice because i saw Graham was coming on screen and i busied myself with other activities. but Well, he wasn't wearing his normal uniform. And I wondered whether that was because he is kind of solo parenting a newborn. And in the same way as when a woman is not having a very good time, they just don't put mascara on her.

Speaker: This is Graham's tell. Yes, he's going through it. He's not sleeping. If he's a bit sleep deprived and tired, he just puts on a black shirt and doesn't do his top button up.

Speaker: And who knows of so where this cottage is Maybe it's the creepy cottage that Joe, not Joe, John um inherited from his mum. Yeah, maybe. I mean, the one that they filmed it at is the one that Belle and Tom went to in Wales. I mean, actually... Which is by the entrance entrance to the village, yeah.

Speaker: Was it that house? Okay. just Maybe it's the same place. Maybe it's rented from the same Which is just right next to the stables on Kim's property. It's like no one's noticed that he's actually rather closer to Emmerdale than Obama's.

Speaker: And I guess he's buying formula somewhere. yeah he must be. yeah maybe he must be in the shop for just buying yeah he's probably just popping into david's stores all the time or into hot and which we know is the furthest place you can imagine gosh yeah i wouldn't wouldn't bother going all the way there we might have this before but i saw a menu that caleb had called hot and spicy i wrote that down so good i think we've heard a similar pun when somebody asked where they were getting like

Speaker: pastries from for a brunch and they're like oh we're getting it from like hot and crispy or something like that but i think he was spicy works way better hot and spicy is very strong and it yeah props literally to the art department for that yeah i know like so good and they were recruiting for a graphic designer recently and i feel like whoever they recruited has done well they're killing it already well done then um any of other strays Yeah, quite a few actually. Somebody, I can't remember who, said about Vinny, I just can't believe he's going to be in his mid-30s by the time he gets out.

Speaker: As if that's like ancient. shouldn't I know, it really made me quite upset to think that anyone could be 10 years younger than mid-30s. But I guess people But also, I think he seems at least 30 now, just in personality.

Speaker: He's quite eternal in in a not particularly positive way. Yeah, ageless one, so unchanging. Yeah, really odd. He seems like he, yeah, has existed forever and will always be middle-aged.

Speaker: But no, he'll be in his mid-30s when he gets out, which in many ways will be like, if he's acting like he he's in his mid-30s when he gets out, he will have aged down, so That's true. might have really been a breath of fresh air for him, the whole Brazilian experience. It's going be rejuvenating experience.

Speaker: Oh dear. um Do we think Samson is actually coming back? No. but I don't know why, I just really feel like he's not, because they did axe that actor. Yeah, it'd be weird they brought him back so soon, unless it's played by someone different, but it doesn't feel like they're adding more cast right now, because they've just added a few. few Do you he'll like kick off in prison or something and they'll extend the sentence?

Speaker: Maybe. Or maybe it will be the probation person being like this house is unsanitary. I'm so sorry. Or maybe it will be because of Moira. Yeah. Maybe he's like, well, you can't live here because Moira is a bitch. Yeah. And then they'll be like, wow, we hate you, Moira. And you have to leave as well. Yeah. And poor Cammy's just sweetly living in his caravan on the drive. I know. Maybe something can be even there.

Speaker: Yeah, certainly a safe haven. It must be freezing. Yeah, this time of year would be cold. I think surely, ah maybe plot prediction. okay As the weather gets colder, Cammy will be like, it's really cold and move in with Belle.

Speaker: That would be nice. Yeah, maybe they'll move out of that house and into Victoria's house. Yeah, maybe. Well, isn't Belle still in the same house that she was in with tom She's just like at Sam and Lydia's a lot for meals and things. I thought she moved into to Sam and Lydia's for me. I thought she just spent a lot of time there, but maybe. Yeah, good point.

Speaker: If she's living there on her own, well, it's like all her family are crammed into one room. That's quite selfish. Yeah, I just think we can't question the living arrangements in Emmerdale these days. Everything is completely unhinged. all we do. I mean, I'd certainly rather live in that dingle-infested pad than have to live with Piper. so there is that. True, yeah, that dog. Yeah, and as we know, Muslims don't have indoor pets, or indoor dogs at least. So would that come up if Cammy moved in? Would Piper be thrown into the street?

Speaker: Gosh, hopefully. One can only hope. We hate Piper. We hate Piper. That is our biggest thing in this podcast. We're thinking of rebranding to the anti-Piper fan club. Let me get even more hate on Reddit. You've really taken that to heart. I just found it funny.

Speaker: i mean, I did find it funny. i just found it quite shocking how much people care. like People care about this podcast so much more than we do. if They have such strong opinions on it. They don't listen to it, but they do care about it. Yeah.

Speaker: It's wild. Funny. um I don't remember the context of this coming up, I did enjoy that Kim mentioned rural potholes at some point. she?

Speaker: and Why would she? It was when Anthea got that guy to pull her over for swerving. Oh, that's right. I was only swerving to avoid a pothole. And i was like, yes, Kim, rural potholes are such an issue. And it reminded me that of when I our previous MP was a Tory MP when the Tories were in power here and so I wrote to him a lot to complain um about their ways and um I thought well the first time I'm going to write to complain about it was something to do with how badly they were treating refugees I thought I better look up what he said in the House of Commons just to like reference anything good he's done I don't want it to be all negative I looked up and

Speaker: basically the only thing he talked about was rural potholes. So I started with like, thank you for your work on rural potholes. It's a real issue. It's close to my heart. However, have you considered treating human beings humanely? Just a thought.

Speaker: it's to me a clear-cut decision yeah um and don't wanna i don't wanna get you to misunderstand me we're fully on the same page re the potholes but the more things in heaven and earth in your philosophy i'm sure the asylum seekers wouldn't want the potholes either so we will watch them we're all like pulling in the same direction If anything, maybe you could hire some of them to fill them in. It's a win-win. They could be such a win-win. Provide employment and fill the potholes. That'd be amazing. And the first time I wrote to the MP, I got a letter or like typed letter back through the post. The next time I got an email and then I clearly got on some sort of list where they're like, this man will never vote for us. Don't bother engaging. Yeah, you're probably on a watch list now.

Speaker: I assume. But now we've got a Lib Dem MP, so that's better. Have you written to them much? Not at all, actually, because I'm like, well, what can the Lib Dems do? so like He'll just be like, yeah, I agree, but I don't have any power. Sorry, my hands are tied. by being totally useless.

Speaker: um I think I did invite him to an Open Doors event, but he didn't come, so there's that. yeah Well, you do what you can. You do what you can in this day and age. I wonder who the MP of the Ehrenberg? Ehrenberg? Excuse me? I started saying Ehrensberg for Neighbours. Which reminds me, I don't think anyone will have come because of this, but accidentally gave our email address in my book podcast recently. Did you?

Speaker: So if anyone gets in touch talking about books, that is why. That's nice. Yeah, we don't often get book recommendations from our Emmerdale listeners, but... Although it does remind me, um so many stories I wasn't expecting, ah someone in the background of an argument seems was browsing through the little like free library on the side of the church.

Speaker: Oh, that's nice. And it reminded me of the time that i took, um when we were on the tour, I took a photo of the little library see what sort of books were available. And what sort of books were available? Well, let's see if I can find my photo. you think the cast and crew like use that little free library as a little free library? Because that'd be quite sweet.

Speaker: Based on what was in there, I would say absolutely not because it was it was just essentially trash that was in there. um Well, no, I shouldn't say that because there was a children's Bible in there, which is a not trash. but Other than that. Other than that, we had like...

Speaker: oh it's amina blighton lovely some horrible histories was in there book about animals ink heart the snow angel um but yeah it it is a who's who of books that are just ah rejected by charity shops i thought it just sounds quite like children and young teenager-y Yeah, i think that's the vibe. i mean, I assume they got them from charity shop. Probably. yeah ah But yeah, I guess when Dottie's finished with her, inna blight and she she pops it in there.

Speaker: Hasn't Enid Blyton been like cancelled or something? Oh, she's forever being cancelled. But you know, she lives on. Yeah, she lives on in our hearts and minds. Well, I loved her for years. in yeah Naughtiest girl in the school, I think has given me my appreciation for socialism.

Speaker: And you were the naughtiest girl in school. i was such a well-behaved boy, in fact. I'm such a rule follower. You do love a rule. I love following rules. This is why I want to be in a cult. We've talked about it. Please, someone help me to join their cult. Please. ah Especially if you can combine that with my wish to be a mist.

Speaker: some You're just ripe for the picking on a number of fronts, aren't you? keep going with your old strays I think it was yesterday's episode or maybe the day before they showed some footage that Sadie had obviously captured in her secret camera in the lounge and the date on it said it was the 19th of October which is tomorrow she's a time traveller she's a time traveller or her camera's set up wrong or I think most likely they had to reshuffle some of the episodes because of football and other things

Speaker: Yeah, they've been so messed around with the scheduling that they can't know what's going So it's probably meant to be broadcast tomorrow, but, you know, just a cute little admin error. That's nice. Thanks.

Speaker: um I appreciated that Nicola looked up her mortgage repayment on a laptop because mortgage repayments are not a mobile phone activity. That's a laptop activity. So true. And this is something that I see as a generational divide. of like important tasks for me. Like, obviously I'll just wait till I get and on my laptop.

Speaker: Whereas some people, even only sort of like three or five years younger than me, just do everything on their phone. They'll book a flight on their phone. I was going to say, booking a flight on their phone is unhinged. That is a laptop activity. It's a laptop activity. And checking your mortgage repayment, also a laptop activity. But no, some people are just like phoning it.

Speaker: It's crazy. In their defense, like, I can't see why I divide these things, but but i but I do. And that's what millennials do. That's what we do. Yeah, it feels wrong to me. yeah but We are old.

Speaker: We are old. But I've also like, they've been in that house a long time. help I suppose maybe they haven't. trying to think, how long is their mortgage repayment? Maybe he extended their mortgage to Sadie money. I think he, yeah, he did like remortgage the house or something.

Speaker: Which I'm pretty sure you'd have to have both of her signatures on if she's also named on the mortgage application. but I just don't know these things. I just also think Emmerdale does seem to have quite a loose grasp on property law.

Speaker: That's true. didn't need any sort of lore. Yeah, any lore at all. um I wanted to say earlier and totally forgot that I thought um the scenes of Gabby in hospital were fantastic.

Speaker: When she was like so upset and then Manpreet and Laurel. like Yeah, obviously Manpreet's bedside manner is still kind of strange to me. um But yeah, I thought that Gabby did so well of like explaining how trapped she felt and how like scary things seemed but wanting to change that kind of thing and as you say I think unfortunately that will probably be the last we see of the struggle and now it'll just be straight back into like your life is great again but I thought she did really well well done Rosie Bentham and absolutely and she had a lovely scene with Robert at a grave um or Jimmy's grave for some reason but a grave uh I liked that they brought up the whole thing about Dottie looking at the video and

Speaker: Laura being crossed because she's like influencing her so yeah I think Ray's Bethany's been brilliant in it and I hope it's not another six months or something before she gets another story to get her teeth into me too fingers crossed fingers crossed have you got anything else to say I don't all out strays wow I've got one or two and it was mainly to be fair on the Robert thing because we did say why on earth did Robert leave that bag of cash lying around? That was so dumb. That was ridiculous, yeah. um And then Kev walked out of the bar with what looked like his jacket wrapped around similar sized parcel as the bag.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm assuming this is a red herring. I i was going to say, i i hope we're on the same page here, but I don't think he's stolen it. No, it's too obvious. It was too obvious, yeah. Okay, great. So who do you think did steal it?

Speaker: a Uh...

Speaker: I think they also maybe want us to believe it's that like crowd of guys who was just like playing darts and stuff. But i also don't know about that. I think it's probably someone random. Like it could even be like, i was going to say Mac, but he wasn't there. But like just another member of the village community.

Speaker: who do you think? Yeah, I think it's, i agree. i think my I was going to say Serena, but I don't know why. but i think it could be Serena, but maybe it be like charity or someone. Or maybe it'll be Gabby. It'd be great if it's Gabby.

Speaker: Yeah, that would be really good if was Gabby. Was Gabby at the pub at all? I can't remember. can't remember seeing her. I really want it to be her. That'd be so satisfying. Or Nicola. Nicola would be good. I don't think she would steal the money but because she doesn't know that Robert's done anything bad.

Speaker: But maybe she would just anyway. Or maybe or maybe it's um one of her offspring who's like, we need money. it is. And by offspring, I mean steps and halves and whoever else is in that household. All the waifs and strays. Yeah, i my main reflection or one of my main reflections on this whole storyline is that i am a bit annoyed that they are making Robert into such a full-blown evil character because he's not actually like that and we said this in the last episode like but he's not evil enough to do all this stuff to Nicola and he's not stupid enough to gamble away the hide no maybe he needs um and Victoria back to come and be more of a moral compass for him yeah maybe he needs something to change yeah no I agree I don't like the direction they're taking in I hope it's temporary me too because i mean we've already got joe being evil and kim being quite evil and graham being very happy to be an accessory to evil and like ross is quite ruthless charity's quite ruthless we don't need another one we really don't everyone's so broken yeah everyone needs therapy yep um and then the final thing i wrote down was just that claudette and joe are a fantastic combination in scenes together and i want to see more of that

Speaker: Absolutely. Never a good time. I've enjoyed Claudia a lot more in this past week than I ever have before. She's great. Yeah, she's excellent. A huge fan. It does remind me, talking of like chemistry between people, as i as I like to do. This is not even from me. Rachel got in touch. um I don't know which Rachel, but someone, i'm I think it's probably this. It's presumably Rachel Trowman. I assume, but this is on Blue Sky.

Speaker: So maybe another Rachel. and Got in touch to say that she is seeing chemistry between Robert and Joe. one watch. When are they related? Well, when they were playing poker.

Speaker: Of course. Yeah, that's true. I think she, like I, might have a problem that where we where there is conflict, we see chemistry. Yeah, I think maybe that speaks more about you than about the characters. It speaks more about the number of enemies to love as Netflix films I've watched.

Speaker: There we go. And possibly Rachel has too. Well, shall we do a little random name? Yes. Today we're going to talk about Serena, in fact. oh back again.

Speaker: oh sorry, I can't stop you. You're a tired lady. She is a tired lady. um Serena Selina. Whatever your name is. I will never quite remember her name, unfortunately. um yeah I mean, it's not that I don't like her as a character, but I just don't think she's particularly necessary to anything.

Speaker: Yeah, I don't like it when a new character joins and the the fans are all like, get rid of them when they've barely been there. But I just don't feel, yeah, I don't feel like she adds anything yet. And maybe they'll find something more interesting about her.

Speaker: But the stories she's involved with are quite tedious. And I just don't know what character is yet. She did a fun, chatty, quirky thing charity for like a day. Now she just sort of like snaps at people.

Speaker: And I feel like when she turned up, everyone was like, why are you really here? And it did feel like she was like trying to get to the bottom of stuff.

Speaker: And then there was all that stuff with John, wasn't there? of Like, oh... I never knew him like that, which I don't really believe. So I feel like I still don't really trust her, but I don't, I feel like they've put her, her like backstory on the back burner and I don't really care enough to find out more. Yeah. Cause I'm like, I'm i'm all pro more Sogdens, but let's make them worthwhile in some way.

Speaker: But maybe when all of this, like whatever blackmailing Kim she's trying to do or whatever, I don't know, all these, random story she's in are over and she can actually just have an interesting story. Although will say, Emma Dale not noted for giving us people of colour interesting stories, so who knows if that will ever happen. That's Oh dear, gutting.

Speaker: And maybe one day we'll find out whether or not she's a lesbian because we've never really delved on that one. We've never quite delved right down to the bottom of her sexuality, but I'm not really sure we necessarily need to. It did look like they were setting her up with Ross at one point and I was like, oh no, don't want that.

Speaker: Yeah, I didn't really want to see that either. I still think Anthea and Joe Tate might happen. Yeah, I think you're already right. I can't ever quite believe that her name is Anthea, but I think it probably is. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is.

Speaker: I don't know what I think her name is, if not that, but let's go with it. Yeah, let's go with it. um Yeah, i I feel sorry for Serena that I don't really have anything else to say about her, but i don't.

Speaker: Sorry, Serena. Sorry, Serena. Any farming content? I guess they've talked about farming in terms of famously Moira looking at fields and Mac going to Germany. Mac's three-month intensive agriculture course.

Speaker: Matty complaining that there's not enough fuel to work on the farm. Yep. ah But no actual farm. No actual farm, but like mentions a farm, which I do appreciate. That's nice.

Speaker: I'm sure at one point there were three farms. i and forget I'm running a blank on who the third farm belongs to, but maybe maybe it doesn't. Yeah, I have no idea. There's a whole Celia's farm that's presumably gone to rack and ruin. Oh gosh, yeah.

Speaker: Yeah, because that's like Kim's land, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, I wonder who's there now. I mean, presumably nobody, as you say, but somebody could be living in that house, although it did look awful. That's true. It did look pretty bleak.

Speaker: um oh Someone was in Kim's house this past week. Was it Anthea? Someone was in there and being like, you've got such taste. It's like, look around. i think it was Sadie. Yeah. And I was like, Sadie, you're wrong in the head. Yeah. This is horrible. Yeah. Everything there is terrible.

Speaker: But and I guess maybe her name of reference is Jimmy's house. True. True. tear Right, well, there we go ah We've, we've diggled all of the way.

Speaker: Every single way. Every single millimeter of that way. in touch, dingletheway.pod at gmail.com. We'd love to hear from you, particularly if you um have anything you'd like us to read out. Any fan theories, any, ah of course, medical procedures.

Speaker: Of course. Any random characters you think of chemistry or each other.

Speaker: Bye. Bye.
