Introduction and Podcast Hiatus

Dakota Zeigler
Ladies a and the gentlemen, welcome to another episode of the ZNG Dynasty podcast.
00:00:48
Ninja
Thank you.
00:00:50
Dakota Zeigler
And yes, your old time host, your host with the most. Lord Hinckley is back behind the ones and twos, and he's got hosting duties taking over again, at least for this episode.
00:01:01
Dakota Zeigler
We'll see how it goes moving forward. But, you know, I'm back on the bike. I'm back in the front seat driving. I am want to apologize for the short little hiatus we've taken post, you know, the NFL season actually ending.
00:01:14
Dakota Zeigler
know we've been off for last couple of weeks, but a little bit of life things, a little bit of busyness, a little bit of off the field issues, if you will. But, know, Hey, we're back today.

Co-host Ninja's Reflections

00:01:22
Dakota Zeigler
We got a fun one here for you. And as always, I'm joined from by one of my good buddies, Ninja.
00:01:29
Dakota Zeigler
How you doing over there, big fella?
00:01:31
Ninja
I'm
00:01:33
Ninja
the this past week i was ready on both nights and we talked about and then it just just didn't happen so it's not your boy i even thought about doing a solo episode but i was like it's no fun because what we're gonna talk about today is what i was going to do so there was no point of a happy to'd be back In contract negotiations, Gary has stole my seat as head chair

Contract Disputes and Adjustments

00:01:55
Ninja
here. But that's all good, because I love hearing his sexy voice. Love being back. Love seeing you, kid.
00:02:01
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, it's definitely a contracting.
00:02:04
Dakota Zeigler
It's a contract dispute is the reason that I am hosting because Damien's asking price, which is a little bit too high this offseason. He's asking for a big raise and I need to kind of put him in his place.
00:02:15
Ninja
Reasonable.
00:02:16
Ninja
Reasonable.
00:02:16
Dakota Zeigler
Definitely reasonable.
00:02:18
Dakota Zeigler
Definitely reasonable. But I have to try and lower that cap hit.
00:02:20
Ninja
to the

NFL Coaching Carousel

00:02:21
Ninja
public.
00:02:21
Dakota Zeigler
and taking over a little bit of hosting duties take some work off this guy's plate but uh this is going to be a fun one for us we're going to start off a little bit of you know maintenance a little bit of keep up with the coaching carousel uh see how this thing's been spinning the past couple weeks we were going to do a coaching carousel episode a couple weeks ago but i'm kind of glad we didn't because now we have a lot more news than we did when but back when we were going to do this episode I don't know what all we hit on.
00:02:48
Dakota Zeigler
I'm pretty sure we did the giant hiring John Harbaugh. I'm pretty sure that's the last thing we hit on on the podcast. Since then, there's been a plenty of coaching hires.
00:02:58
Dakota Zeigler
We'll start off with some of the predictable ones for me. The Bills hiring Joe Brady, their offense coordinator, since firing Sean McDermott seemed pretty obvious to me that they would just keep Joe Brady on, especially with his familiarity with Bill, bill with Josh Allen and that offense and his vision for the future. He's a young, exciting head coach, and he probably would have gotten a head coaching job somewhere else if the Bills didn't hire him. So I think the Joe Brady hire was pretty predictable for me, and I think it's a good hire as well for the Bills. What are your thoughts, Damian?
00:03:30
Ninja
I actually think it's a downgrade from Sean McDermott.
00:03:34
Ninja
Be very... Yeah, I just, like, I think it's okay. I don't think they lost any ground there, really, but, like, defensively, they're going to struggle again like they have, and Sean McDermott was a defensive head coach.
00:03:34
Dakota Zeigler
Probably overall, yeah.
00:03:47
Ninja
I think he made the best of what was a terrible overall roster construction on the defensive side of the ball for years now, and I think it's going to play out on an exceptional scale next year where this Bills defense is just going to be horrific because,
00:03:52
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:04:04
Dakota Zeigler
Oh, awful. Yeah.
00:04:05
Ninja
Because they don't have someone manning the helm, but guess what? That means Josh Allen is going to have to play some hero ball, which we love seeing.
00:04:12
Dakota Zeigler
I agree. I think theyre the Bills draft this offseason has to be Defense, defense, defense, defense, if not maybe a wide receiver.

Controversial Promotions and Hires

00:04:21
Dakota Zeigler
but I think, uh, the GM who is now the president, uh, forget his first name, but being, uh, I'm shocked Joe.
00:04:26
Ninja
Joe Bean.
00:04:27
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. I am shocked that he got a promotion. I guess maybe they're taking them out of player personnel duties, which is probably a good thing, but that guy got off Scott free off that awful team that he constructed.
00:04:39
Ninja
I heard that the one of the reasons he was hired, like the Keyon Coleman debacle, apparently Bean was against drafting Coleman, which somehow one pick right your wrongs, like he's done any good in the draft for years.
00:04:52
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:04:54
Ninja
But that's what I've been hearing.
00:04:54
Dakota Zeigler
And like, Kian Coleman wasn't a consensus first round pick. Like, when everyone, besides, yeah, besides, you know, the Ninja, Ninja Moore himself,
00:04:58
Ninja
No, I had him wait. Let's remember, i hated him.
00:05:08
Dakota Zeigler
Yes, but I think everyone could have predicted Keon Coleman would be at least a decent player. No one would have predicted him with all these off the field issues. But besides, you know, skip Bayless over here. Anyways, the Steelers.
00:05:22
Dakota Zeigler
hired on, uh, Mike McCarthy. And this is another, just like, it's a pretty good move for the Steelers. Like I, i don't think this is an upgrade from Tomlin. It, it's something new.
00:05:36
Dakota Zeigler
It's something different, but like not really. They're going to go 9-8, 10-7, probably get first-rounded with Mike McCarthy and whoever they have a quarterback. But I think this is a fine hire for the Steelers. It'll keep them doing what they've been doing, but this is not going to, you know, I don't think Mike McCarthy's not winning a Super Bowl in Pittsburgh.
00:05:56
Ninja
Agreed completely. i think this is the most lateral moves of lateral moves. You're going to finish the same regardless of Mike Tomlin, Mike McCarthy, whatever. And the problem with this is, like, maybe Mike Tomlin stepped down on his own accord. I thought he was going to get fired.
00:06:14
Ninja
This is just another four years of mid for the Steelers. is what i Like, maybe you make the playoffs three times, you're going be a wild card bounce. every year you're there. Just because your roster isn't there, you don't have a quarterback. Aaron Rodgers will be there for now, and we'll get into that in a new segment. Oh, I've been teasing, and I finally worked on. It's in the notes, in the Google Doc. Been working on it, so stay tuned. But I think this is a very lateral move.
00:06:41
Ninja
I don't expect anything different here. I expect another 9-8 season and a wild card bounce if they even make it.
00:06:48
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, if they get there. Completely agree. The Ravens hired Jesse Minter, I believe the old DC of the Chargers. Kind of a man hire. Kind of like, yeah, sure, whatever. He's a younger head coach. I believe he's like early 40s. I think he's built a decent defense there in l L.A. with the Chargers being under Harbaugh.
00:07:07
Dakota Zeigler
But I don't really know much about this guy. It was kind of a man hire for the Ravens. I thought that did kind of make a bigger splash. being like the high-profile, like a win-now team that they are. But, you know, we'll kind of see you can't judge a book before it's covered.
00:07:21
Dakota Zeigler
And I guess that's what we got with Jesse Minter. But what are your thoughts?
00:07:25
Ninja
I'm going to judge it bad. I think this is...
00:07:27
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:07:29
Ninja
So, Jesse Minter, I don't know a lot about, just like you, but with the names that were let go with, how did Kevin Stefanski not get this job?
00:07:38
Dakota Zeigler
Yep.
00:07:39
Ninja
Like...
00:07:40
Dakota Zeigler
No idea.
00:07:41
Ninja
I just don't understand the logic here where you already have like the culture. We already have Seth and Stefanski and Harbaugh's cultures aren't so far different, right? And we all love Stefanski. How did the Ravens settle on a Jesse Minter who no one knows anything about? He's this new guy.
00:07:59
Ninja
Maybe he's good and I'll bite my words, but... There are a lot of good names who were fired this cycle that they just missed on for some DC for an average defense under Harbaugh.
00:08:13
Ninja
I just don't get it. Maybe he does good. I doubt it. But i I'm confused. Because this doesn't help Lamar either.
00:08:23
Ninja
You know what I mean? Like you have a franchise quarterback, this does nothing for Lamar. There's no offensive mind here. So pending what he does with his OC, which I haven't seen any news on yet, i just don't know.
00:08:36
Ninja
I'm very confused about this hire.
00:08:39
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I completely agree. I am going to give a quick Google search to see if he's hired anybody as his offense coordinator, but I don't believe he has. Yeah, they're still looking for it.
00:08:50
Dakota Zeigler
Wait, actually, newly hired Ravens head coach Jesse Minter named Declan Doyle as his offense coordinator. He was the offense coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
00:09:03
Dakota Zeigler
Sure.
00:09:03
Ninja
So he did nothing because Ben Johnson was there.
00:09:04
Dakota Zeigler
another Another guy who's never called plays.
00:09:06
Ninja
Yeah.
00:09:06
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, another guy who's never called plays before.
00:09:07
Ninja
Jesus.
00:09:08
Dakota Zeigler
A lot of who knows, a lot of what-ifs there in Baltimore. I have a feeling and that's going to be a longer turnaround time than they want down there in Baltimore for for a very win-now built a football team with Lamar Jackson.
00:09:24
Dakota Zeigler
Moving on here, the next hire, Browns hired at Todd Munkin, the old offense corner from the Ravens in that John Harbaugh tree. The plan originally was for him to follow them to the Giants, bearing him getting a head coaching job, and it turns out he got a head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns.
00:09:43
Dakota Zeigler
Todd Munkin is very old, incredibly old. I don't think he's a bad head coach. I think he's a decent offense coordinator.
00:09:53
Dakota Zeigler
He's got a kind of a unique creative mind for an offense, which I think is beneficial there for what Cleveland has Schroeder Sanders.
00:10:04
Dakota Zeigler
but kind of a weird hire for me. I thought they would go someone younger, someone they can build around for a while. a guy who I think was completely snubbed from any head coaching positions this year was Grant Udinski. He is the offense coordinator for the Jaguars.
00:10:18
Dakota Zeigler
he's super young. He is very creative. He is, got a great offensive mind. And I think he's going to be, he'll be a head coach next head coaching cycle, after the off season next year.
00:10:30
Dakota Zeigler
And they kind of went the opposite direction with Tom Monk in a super old, outdated mindset in there in the offense. We'll see how it turns out. I doubt it turns out well. It is the Browns at the end of the day. But this is a little bit surprising to me and also just like weird and bad.
00:10:44
Dakota Zeigler
What your thoughts?
00:10:44
Ninja
Yeah, this was the worst hire of the cycle. This was terrible.
00:10:47
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, it's just...
00:10:48
Ninja
With everyone on the board, they did the one thing that you should never do when you don't have a direction is continue to pick not having a direction.
00:10:59
Ninja
They picked an old OC who I didn't even like.
00:11:00
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:11:03
Ninja
In Baltimore. i thought he was very plain Jane. He was one script. And it never turned out good in playoff time. And you just give him a head coach job based on the tree. I hated this. I thought this was the worst hire. Mainly because they went over Jim Schwartz head as DC. And now he wants out after he led a top five defense for the past who knows how long. Forever, dude. Yeah.
00:11:29
Ninja
But I think this was a big, grossly misallocated fund to get Todd Munkin here. When Jeff Schwartz, who's in-house, all the players love him, is now, I'm hearing, once out.
00:11:42
Ninja
Because he was passed up on that easily for a head coaching job. So definitely some tumultuous waters. And this Cleveland team will not be any better anytime soon.
00:11:52
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, completely agree. Moving on here, the next new hire I don't think we've talked about yet was Jeff Halfley going to the Miami Dolphins. Old Packers defense coordinator. Don't know much about him. He's kind of a newer man on the job. I think he just got that defense coordinator position two years ago, if I do remember correctly.
00:12:10
Dakota Zeigler
From what I heard and like read online, seems to be like a culture guy, like a very hard-nosed, set some boundaries responsible defense coordinator. And obviously the defense there in Green Bay was pretty good the last couple of years. So I think this hire is fine. It's going to be one of those to be determined kind of things. But the Dolphins need some structure down there in Miami. So hopefully Halfley can do that for them
00:12:33
Ninja
Yeah, I agree. I don't know much about him. I just thought it was okay. Just based on the names that were available when they hired Halfley, which was everybody, it's okay. We'll see. I'm not a big fan, mainly because Brian Flores is, I think, twice the coordinator that Halfley is, and I think he's just as much of a culture builder.
00:12:55
Ninja
so to not give him, even if it's a crazy contract, I understand he was at the Dolphins before and it didn't end well.
00:13:00
Dakota Zeigler
was going say, I don't think he's ever going back to Miami after all those allegations.
00:13:04
Ninja
Guess what? Get over yourself. Him, because guess what? Money talks and takes the bus. I love that saying. We can move on.
00:13:10
Dakota Zeigler
That's a good one. Banger. Yeah, another to-be-determined kind of guy. Speaking of, Mike LaFleur is hired as the Arizona Cardinals. Not Matt LaFleur. Mike LaFleur was hired as the Arizona Cardinals head coach.
00:13:24
Dakota Zeigler
Another one that's kind of like, you know, sure, whatever. Yeah, like nothing special. I heard the biggest news for me with this Arizona Cardinals coaching carousel has been multiple head coaches removing their names from the running because they just don't want to be involved with that front office and that like owners ownership there.
00:13:48
Dakota Zeigler
It's it that organization is just crazy. they're They're going to be bad for a long time. And Mike LaFleur is going to have this job for two years and they get fired.
00:13:55
Ninja
Yeah.
00:13:59
Ninja
Yeah, I didn't. That's that's exactly it. it's We're coming across where now guys are declining jobs or declining interviews because they know the ownership sucks.
00:14:08
Dakota Zeigler
And I like that.
00:14:09
Ninja
I love it. I love everything about it.
00:14:11
Dakota Zeigler
i think it's awesome. Yeah.
00:14:14
Ninja
But for these teams, maybe it's time to realize, like, hey, change. Like, owners, I know, you know, you got a lot of money.
00:14:21
Dakota Zeigler
Maybe I'm the problem.
00:14:22
Ninja
You think you know but, sorry. Like, just take a step down, like, get football guys in football roles and stop being on your high horse, and maybe you'll get the top candidate for the job. Because, once again, Cardinals, I think, have an optimal role job opportunity where they've been building a very young defense.
00:14:44
Ninja
And I think it's very up and coming their offensive line. I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. You just have to kind of, I think it's okay.
00:14:50
Dakota Zeigler
That's pretty bad.
00:14:52
Ninja
I think Paris Johnson's a really good building block and you got a couple of like interim, you know, tackles there.
00:14:55
Dakota Zeigler
I agree.
00:14:58
Ninja
And then you just figure out quarterback, but you have a premier wide receiver asset in Marvin Harrison Jr.
00:14:58
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:15:03
Ninja
A premier tight end asset in Trey McBride. Like there's building blocks there No by far not And it seemed like they settled with A nobody If you will
00:15:06
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. It's not the worst job.
00:15:14
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. I don't know if I'd say he's a nobody, but he's definitely not. there are so many There is a lot more bigger head coaching names than Michael Forer.
00:15:23
Ninja
Yeah, like I don't want to discount this guy, but it just seemed like, like I said with the Ravens, like they just discounted so many guys, like the higher qualified guys, and maybe those guys just didn't want the job, but it's those guys should have gotten looks early and you should have given you should have given them the bag.
00:15:34
Dakota Zeigler
Maybe. Maybe.
00:15:40
Dakota Zeigler
It seems like they kind of got lazy and were like, well, who was on Sean McVay's staff? Let's hire that guy.
00:15:46
Ninja
Yeah, you want the new wonder kid, yeah.
00:15:46
Dakota Zeigler
And then just like, five yeah, like like this guy had a cup of coffee with Sean McVay, a.k.a. the Eagles hiring, what's his name, as offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion. He played under Sean McVay as a backup quarterback. Like, who cares, dude? But to be fair, we got to give Sean McVay his flowers. He's gotten, I think, nine head coaches.
00:16:08
Dakota Zeigler
hired in the last, like since he's been the Rams head coach, he's gotten like nine NFL head coaches hired underneath his quote unquote tree, which I think is pretty impressive.
00:16:27
Ninja
So just keep your peepers out there for the Ninja Moore being out there in the streets, being a head coach in one of these garbage franchises. Anyway.
00:16:34
Dakota Zeigler
Oh yeah, that was awesome. the Titans hired Robert Sala as a head coach. I don't know if we hit on this a last podcast. I don't, I don't think it was that early. I think we missed it. kind of a good hire. I'm pretty happy with this for both sides. I think the Titans need, a Robert Sala type head coach to kind of, you know, set the culture down there and get things rolling. And I also love that he brought in Brian Dayball as our offense coordinator.
00:16:59
Dakota Zeigler
i I see some good things happening down there in Tennessee, and I think these both these hires i think were very good for sides.
00:17:07
Ninja
Yeah, this is the best hire of the cycle, by far, in my opinion. And the fact that I always love Robert Sala as a head coach is just what offensive mind can he bring with him?
00:17:17
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:17:17
Ninja
He's somehow convinced Brian Dayball to corning this team, and I love it even more. So for anybody... Especially Dynasty-wise, your Epic IU Manor babies. Buy. Buy, buy, buy, buy, buy. Now.
00:17:32
Ninja
Before anybody realizes what's happening.
00:17:32
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:17:34
Ninja
You have to buy Cam Ward. You have to buy Epic IU Manor. You have to buy Chimiri DK. like Just buy them now.
00:17:41
Dakota Zeigler
And the wide receiver they draft this year.
00:17:41
Ninja
this was This was the best cycle for coaching hires this year. The Titans nailed it
00:17:48
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, swing and a home run. The last one, the Raiders technically as of now do not have a head coach hired yet, but this is pre-Super Bowl where like all of the odds are Clint Kubiak is going to be the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, and I'm moving forward as such because you know I have a brain. So Clint Kubiak is probably going to be the next head coach of the Raiders who have the number one overall pick, which we'll be talking about a little bit.
00:18:17
Dakota Zeigler
I think it's another great hire, presumptuously. He's shown some great things there in Seattle, being able to develop quarterbacks, got the most out of Sam Darnold this year. I mean, they're, as of now, probably going to win the Super Bowl.
00:18:29
Dakota Zeigler
I think it's a great hire. He's in a young, offensive, creative mind. he was good there with the Texans as well a couple years ago. I think it's a good hire. I think it's a good hire for both sides. Definitely depends on what kind of DC he brings in because he has zero defensive experience. But other than that, pretty good for the Raiders, especially being the last one's the higher head coach.
00:18:48
Ninja
Yeah, I definitely agree. i don't think it's I think it's a good hire, not a great hire. This was like the obvious one running straight from camp. This was like week one after the NFL season ended. It was like, Clint Kubiak's going to get a job. It's just where?
00:19:03
Ninja
And I think the Raiders make a lot of sense. He gets the number one overall pick. The problem is with getting an offensive head coach, I don't know if like this defense sucks.
00:19:13
Ninja
like I don't think their offense is the problem.
00:19:14
Dakota Zeigler
So bad.
00:19:16
Ninja
like It's not good, but it'll get better after Fernando Mendoza.
00:19:17
Dakota Zeigler
but This whole team is a problem.
00:19:21
Ninja
But like that defense is like historically bad behind Max Crosby. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a move dealing Max Crosby for another first-round picks or something like that just to try and get back something that they lost because they haven't drafted well for the past...
00:19:38
Ninja
three cycles. But I think it's an okay hire. I don't love it. Don't hate it. I think it's what we expected here as football guys. Clint Kubiak was bound to get a job and he got one.
00:19:50
Ninja
So not really anything there on my part. But bringing it back to the next thing we want to talk about is obviously this is a week before the Super Bowl, baby.
00:20:12
Ninja
This Patriots team is garbage They face garbage all season I'm just not for it I don't even know if I'm going watch the Super Bowl Because I'm doing a fantasy punishment that day So we'll see if I get there But I doubt I'm even going to watch it Even if I somehow make it out on time I think this is gross, nasty, gross, gross, gross Seahawks by a million Gary?
00:20:12
Dakota Zeigler
i
00:20:35
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I think the Seahawks are a much better football team. I think they've gone through way more proven teams to get to the Super Bowl. And the Patriots have kind of just, you know, cakewalked themselves to a Super Bowl appearance here. And I think their team is good. I'm not going to see here and, you know, not I mean, they're in the Super Bowl. They're a pretty decent team. I love Drake May.
00:20:59
Dakota Zeigler
I love what they're doing there with the Ray Bull. I think they're a good football team. I just think the Seahawks are another tier. I have them winning by a touchdown, and I also love this game to go under. I think it's going to be a low-scoring, kind of boring, eh, Super Bowl. I don't think anyone's going to be super happy about it, and to be honest, i don't really care.
00:21:18
Dakota Zeigler
because I mean, I'll be watching with the boys as always, cause you know, we're just, you know, degenerates, but, I think it's going to be a pretty good game. And, do you have any, I want to ask you, you got any, uh, spicy bits that you want to throw out there while we're talking about the Superbowl?
00:21:34
Ninja
The spiciest bet I have is Seahawks plus 13.5 to cover. and My second one is if I haven't found a way to bet it yet on DraftKings, maybe you guys can find a way.
00:21:39
Dakota Zeigler
I think that's, that is pretty spicy. Yeah.
00:21:45
Ninja
Give me Nick Ewan-Warri as NFL Super Bowl MVP.
00:21:50
Dakota Zeigler
That's crazy. Yeah. Okay.
00:21:51
Dakota Zeigler
Do we expect you predict like a pick six or something?
00:21:55
Ninja
I'm predicting like lockdown coverage, maybe a forced fumble, interception, something like that. Especially if it's low scoring, I think defense wins and that defense is electric.
00:22:06
Ninja
So give me something like that. Devon Witherspoon, Nicky Memorial. I prefer Nicky Memorial, but I haven't found odds yet because I'm not allowed to bet it. I can't find the bet anywhere.
00:22:18
Ninja
So if you guys find it, bet it for the Ninja.
00:22:21
Dakota Zeigler
Love it. My spicy bet of the Super Bowl is a Jake Bobo anytime touchdown plus 1,100 on Fandle.
00:22:27
Ninja
That's so gross. That's so gross.
00:22:29
Dakota Zeigler
I know it's disgusting. I know it's disgusting. But I think it's going to happen. Give me Jake Bobo anytime touchdown plus 1,100. I also love Drake May to run the ball a lot. I like his overrushing yards. I like his anytime touchdowns.
00:22:43
Dakota Zeigler
I think Drake May is run the ball a lot. I think they're going to be down. I think they're going to be throwing the ball. And I don't think they're going to be open because Seahawks defense is very, very good. So give me Drake May over rushing yards.
00:22:55
Ninja
I just had a thought and we can cut this afterwards. Jake, a bobo. Get that picnic basket. it's It's a booboo, a bobo. I tried my best.
00:23:05
Dakota Zeigler
We're leaving that in.
00:23:07
Ninja
that
00:23:07
Dakota Zeigler
So yeah, not not not an exciting Super Bowl and you know not much talk about on a podcast. Usually this would be like a whole pod as we just talk about Super Bowl, but who cares this year?
00:23:17
Ninja
It's not the bird, so who gives a
00:23:17
Dakota Zeigler
20 through 50.
00:23:18
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:23:19
Ninja
twenty three fifty five
00:23:20
Dakota Zeigler
Yep. Back to back. We're leaving all of this in, by the way. Sorry, Zig. But to the meat and potatoes of this podcast, I am so, so excited to do this. We are going to be doing, i don't even know if I announced it yet so far in the podcast, a one-round NFL mock draft.
00:23:38
Dakota Zeigler
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm trying to hit one of these things.
00:23:38
Ninja
Let's go.
00:23:50
Ninja
Yeah.
00:23:52
Dakota Zeigler
We're going to be doing every other. I'm going to start to draft with the one pick. And then we're going to go every other who up until 32. We're just doing the first round today.
00:24:02
Dakota Zeigler
We're going to be talking about all players, too, not just fancy football players, not just QBs, not just wide receivers, not just tight ends, running backs. We're going to be talking about everybody. So this is definitely a football pod. Love to see it. So it's going to be a good one. We're going to win a one round mock. Going to hopefully run through this pretty quick. I think most of them are pretty, you know, cut and dry for the most part. But anyways, Ninja, you ready roll, buddy?
00:24:24
Ninja
Ready to roll. The fact that you gave yourself the boo was fantastic. I lost my mind there for a second. But let's get into it. This is what the people want to see. This is the meat potatoes of this podcast.
00:24:34
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:24:34
Ninja
We're just tickling your balls at the future draft prospects.
00:24:36
Dakota Zeigler
And no other podcast. there isn' You'll look around at all these other podcasts. Zero podcasts are doing NFL mock drafts this year. No one is. You're never going to hear these anywhere else.
00:24:46
Ninja
No one.
00:24:48
Ninja
No.
00:24:49
Dakota Zeigler
you know Very unique. No one else is doing one-round mock drafts. Anyways.
00:24:58
Dakota Zeigler
With the first pick.
00:24:58
Ninja
Wow.
00:25:00
Dakota Zeigler
In the 2026 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Fernando Mendoza, quarterback at Indiana. Chalkiest 101, I would say, since...
00:25:12
Dakota Zeigler
Miles Garrett years ago. even like I feel like most years we do have like a chalk who's going first, but this year we know months in advance that it's going to be Fernando Mendoza.
00:25:23
Dakota Zeigler
It's the right pick. We've talked about him before. i don't know if we We both don't think he's like this world-class top-tier player, but I do think he's probably going to be a franchise quarterback for you know the foreseeable future. So the right pick for the Raiders, right for right pick for the team,
00:25:42
Dakota Zeigler
How you doing? Keep moving. Anything else to say?
00:25:45
Ninja
Yeah, there isn't much to add to this. I mean, if a team like, you know, the Jets or the Cardinals were able to trade up to the spot, I think would be interesting, but the Raiders can't pass on this. This is the only solid quarterback in this draft, and he looks to be an above average one at that. So I don't think it's, I think it's a pick. Like everyone knows that Fernando Mendoza's one, but that moves us on to the number two pick.
00:26:12
Ninja
which is the Jets, which gets a lot more complicated a lot more quickly. They need everything. So you really can't go wrong here.
00:26:22
Ninja
but I'm going to get a little spicy with it, as I tend to do. i know Aaron Glenn is a defensive guy. I'm not going to do it here.
00:26:32
Ninja
Give me Jordan Tyson, number two.
00:26:35
Dakota Zeigler
Ooh.
00:26:37
Ninja
I think he has standalone X value, and to pair him up with Garrett Wilson, with whatever quarterback you're able to get in free agency or the draft or whatever, this is cornerstone stuff that you just can't pass on.
00:26:40
Dakota Zeigler
It's a little surprising.
00:26:53
Ninja
And the early edge rushers, I'm more convinced that they're not three-down guys. They're just premium pass rushers on third downs.
00:26:59
Dakota Zeigler
Oh.
00:27:02
Ninja
That's what my early scouting has told me. So give me a solidified X when healthy. Jordan Tyson.
00:27:09
Dakota Zeigler
I don't hate to pick. I think the Jets, even though they already have two first round picks this year, I think them being a number two, I think they would love to trade down from that position, move back you know three, four, five spots and see what they can get.
00:27:19
Ninja
Agreed. We can't do that in this exercise though.
00:27:23
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, we're not go to be doing trades in this mock, but I think if you're going to take I think the Jets they're taking a wide receiver either with this first-round pick or their next first-round pick.
00:27:31
Ninja
Yeah.
00:27:32
Dakota Zeigler
It's either you get one of the top-tier wide receivers and then see who falls you at 16 or just take you know one of the best defensive players there and see what wide receiver falls at 16. I don't hate taking Tyson there. I think it's a little surprising. I would have went defense, but if going to take a wide receiver at two there for the Jets, I think i i think it's a good pick.
00:27:54
Dakota Zeigler
Moving on here now, i have the Arizona Cardinals at three, and I think there's a decent amount of there's a lot of ways you can play this. You can play you know best player player available and take someone on the defensive side, either one of the edge rushers or you know Caleb Downs if you want to go safety.
00:28:11
Dakota Zeigler
Me, I think the Arizona Cardinals offensive line is not that good. I'm looking at drafting a tackle here because I don't think there's many bona fide tackles in this draft class, if any. But my favorite one is Francis and Maui Noah, the tackle out of Miami. So going to take him here at three. He's going to be I'm going to start him at right tackle on the other side of Patrick Johnson.
00:28:36
Dakota Zeigler
Patrick Johnson says his name left tackle for the Cardinals.
00:28:39
Ninja
Paris Johnson.
00:28:40
Dakota Zeigler
Harris Johnson, not Patrick Johnson. Come on. My ball knowledge rating just went down like three points. But, yeah, I like Francis Malano a lot. Worse comes to worse, you throw him at a right guard or left guard, and he's like a bona fide stud for like a decade. But I do think he can play tackle. He played incredible in the college football playoff run that Miami went on this year. and I think that's kind of shot him up a lot of draft boards. So I like him here at three, my top tackle for sure, on a very tackled, needy team there in Arizona.
00:29:21
Ninja
The Titans need a lot of help defensively, and I think if they can boost that pass rush, they can do that. I'm to take of another Miami Hurricane. Give me Reuben Bain Jr.
00:29:31
Ninja
here and number four.
00:29:31
Dakota Zeigler
Ooh, Yep.
00:29:33
Ninja
Just stack that defensive line as much as you can because I think Robert Sala obviously he is going to go defense. I think he's going to go defensive line and get one of the best technical guys in the draft pass rush wise.
00:29:48
Ninja
maybe, you know, a lot of concerns early were arm length and hand size, but who cares when you're that gifted? You know what I mean? Like there is outliers for a reason. I think he is an outlier.
00:30:01
Ninja
I think he far and away is the best pass rusher in this draft and to get him at four, I think as a steal, this draft without a quarterback.
00:30:08
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I think it's a very good pick there for the Titans. I like Reuben Bain a lot. He's my top edge rusher so far in the draft. I do like David Bailey as well, and I don't fully consider Arvel Reese a pass rusher yet.
00:30:19
Dakota Zeigler
He's kind of like a you know unicorn, if you will.
00:30:21
Ninja
He's a tweener.
00:30:22
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, he's a little bit of a tweener. So if we're going straight pass rushers, edge rushers, I love Reuben Bain. I do think he's a three-down player. He reminds me a lot of Brandon Graham with a little bit extra juice.
00:30:44
Dakota Zeigler
lot of positions you can go here. My first instinct is I want to take wide receiver. pair one pair one up for Jackson Dart alongside Malik Neighbors. We get Malik Neighbors healthy and we pair him with a guy like Carnell Tate, who I'm going to take here. Wide receiver out of Ohio State.
00:31:08
Ninja
Thank
00:31:09
Dakota Zeigler
They have Malik neighbors and like nobody else. You can kind of tell that once the neighbors went down this year. It's just like, who's there to catch the ball for the Giants? I think Wanda Robinson leaves them in free agency.
00:31:20
Dakota Zeigler
I think he goes somewhere else for a pretty decent bag. I love Theo Johnson. we you know We both are big Theo Johnson guys. But you've got to get Dart more weapons. you're Not a lot of... top-end, high-end wide receiver talent. So give me Carnell Tate here at five.
00:31:37
Dakota Zeigler
i like it a lot, and I hate as a Bucs fan.
00:31:39
Ninja
Yeah. I like it too. it It makes too much sense, really. And the problem is for us Eagles fans, it's it's a good pick. Like it's a really good pick.
00:31:51
Dakota Zeigler
To be fair, though, I said the same thing a couple years ago when they took Kavon Thibodeau and Oh, man, might the tackle at Alabama. I'm just completely blanking on his name, who ended up sucking. But I said the same thing. So hopefully Tarno Tate ends up being a bust. But we'll see. I doubt it.
00:32:07
Ninja
I doubt it, yeah. And for me, for the Browns, oh, I got the lucky draw of the Browns.
00:32:12
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:32:13
Ninja
There's a lot of problems with this Browns pick. I think they should trade back. Obviously, we can't do that in this exercise. So it's going to seem like a bit of a reach.
00:32:25
Ninja
But he's the best tackle guard combo on the board. i'm going to take Spencer Fownau out of Utah. That offensive line stinks.
00:32:35
Dakota Zeigler
You need a lot.
00:32:35
Ninja
Like, it's just so bad.
00:32:37
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:32:38
Ninja
you just need another body. Somebody who's not a negative asset to play because all your offensive linemen are over 30. You just need somebody to fill in the shoes, either right tackle or left tackle, however you want to play it.
00:32:54
Ninja
if I were the Browns, I would trade down, but offensive line is a desperate need.
00:33:00
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. yeah This offensive line is so bad, i I wouldn't be surprised if they end up drafting two offensive linemen in this first round because they do have another pick coming up at 24.
00:33:10
Dakota Zeigler
But I like Spencer Franu.
00:33:11
Ninja
Oh, I have that too. Great.
00:33:12
Dakota Zeigler
You do. You can do whatever you want with that, buddy. But I like the pick at six. Maybe a little early for Spencer Franu, but like you said, if you can trade down and get that guy, it would awesome. And they need offensive line help desperately. So if you're going to draft the tackle, you've got to draft him early.
00:33:28
Dakota Zeigler
And then I have the Washington Commanders here at seven. And there's a very interesting you know development of players on the board. lot of defensive guys, which is what I'm looking at here. Arvel Reese, David Bailey available, even Caleb Downs, a safety out of Ohio State.
00:33:47
Dakota Zeigler
A lot of really good players at the top of the board. i think I'm going to go David Bailey. Edge rusher out of Texas Tech. just Just zero pass rush for the Washington Commanders last year.
00:33:57
Dakota Zeigler
Got rid of Montez Sweat. I think that was two seasons ago. But ever since then, they've only really had Jonathan Allen up the middle and like really no edge threat at all. Get David Bailey off the edge. I kind of like David Bailey. i don't Obviously, I'm a Reuben Bain guy. i like him a little bit more. But he's a straight pass rusher, David Bailey is. Not much against the run. But straight pass rusher, if you need a guy to create havoc, he will do it for you. It's just whether or not he can do it consistently and be like a three, four down player. I don't know that yet, but early on he's going to be a very high level pass rusher for them. So David Bailey here at seven, I feel pretty good about.
00:34:35
Ninja
Yeah, I love everything about that pick. I definitely agree. He's the second pass rusher off my board. He's the second one on my board. But for my pick here at number eight with the Saints, it's going be something you guys haven't seen often.
00:34:48
Ninja
Maybe ever. Because it's a pick early. But keep in mind the head coach there, it's Kellen Moore. I'm taking Jeremiah Love.
00:34:56
Dakota Zeigler
Mm-hmm.
00:34:57
Ninja
Running back. They need a replacement after... Alvin Kamara, Devin Neal got some looks, looked okay, not great.
00:35:08
Ninja
This solidifies everything for them. offensively, their offensive line is growing, and I think it's okay. Their receiver options, I think, are okay. And this just solidifies something that was a bad necessity. And for an offensive-minded head coach, you just get the best one in the draft, and you figure everything else out later. i don't think this is way out of the cards. And for your Chiefs fans, guess what?
00:35:34
Ninja
Up yours. I won't let you have it. Junior.
00:35:40
Dakota Zeigler
I think it's a good pick. Uh, I like him going to the saints there. I think it's a great pick for him in fantasy, but also a good pick for the saints. getting Tyler shock a weapon down there in new Orleans.
00:35:51
Dakota Zeigler
I think Jeremiah love doesn't fall past the chiefs at nine, but I also don't think he goes much earlier than this. I think his range right now is like the saints or the chiefs. he's definitely not getting by the chiefs.
00:36:03
Ninja
it's seven to nine that's his range
00:36:04
Dakota Zeigler
So, Yeah, like maybe, maybe Washington goes, but they have so many needs on defense that i like the Jeremiah Love pick.
00:36:12
Ninja
jcm is good right
00:36:15
Dakota Zeigler
Anyways, so I have the Chiefs here at nine, and I kind of already mentally took Jeremiah Love for them. So they're as the Chiefs probably will be on draft day if this ever does happen. They're just going to be scrambling to find out what they can do.
00:36:28
Dakota Zeigler
So I'm looking at Arville Reese kind of being left over here as a like a linebacker, defensive edge player. Pass rushing option. Caleb Downs don't really need have a need at safety. Don't really have a need at linebacker for Sonny Stiles. I'm staring Makai Lemon in the face, and he's looking back at me real nice, smiling, giving me a little wink.
00:36:51
Dakota Zeigler
Whoa, is he is he wiggling his finger at me? Okay, I'll take Makai Lemon. Wide receiver out of USC going to the Kansas City Chiefs. They need a weapon there outside of Rasheed Rice because Rasheed Rice loves to not be on the football field.
00:37:05
Dakota Zeigler
So give me Makai Lemon with Patrick Mahomes. as a second option there. Him, Xavier Worley, Rasheed Rice as a triple Y receiver combo. I think you're set there for the next 10 years, five to 10 years at least. So I think it's a weird pick. I think it's an interesting pick. I don't think I've ever done this before. I've done a lot of mock drafts on my own just for and gigs.
00:37:29
Dakota Zeigler
And I don't think I've ever taken McKay Lemon to the Chiefs. So what are your thoughts?
00:37:33
Ninja
Yeah, it's definitely weird. i don't hate it.
00:37:36
Dakota Zeigler
It feels a little strange.
00:37:37
Ninja
It's a little weird. But I also kind of bamboozled you because wouldn't allow the Jeremiah Love thing there.
00:37:38
Dakota Zeigler
cause if
00:37:43
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, like it's such a lock that he's there.
00:37:44
Ninja
wouldn't do that. But I don't think McKay Lemon is bad. i think they would try and look offensive guard or tackle first. So I think Ione is a decent look here.
00:37:56
Dakota Zeigler
i i thought about it. i just thought it was too early, but I thought about it.
00:37:59
Ninja
Maybe. But other than that, like I don't hate the pick. Obviously, like i have wide receivers, and we'll get over this when we do our scouting. like I have wide receivers above him yet, but you know for what over Mikhail Lemon, yeah.
00:38:10
Dakota Zeigler
Mekhi Lemon.
00:38:14
Dakota Zeigler
That makes me sad.
00:38:16
Ninja
I'm sorry. Maybe that'll change when I go deep diving into stuff, but it won't.
00:38:20
Dakota Zeigler
It better.
00:38:23
Ninja
Anyways, my pick here with the Bengals at 10, this is the easiest pick I'll have tonight. It's Caleb Downs.
00:38:30
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:38:31
Ninja
I think he's a top three player in this class.
00:38:34
Dakota Zeigler
Mm-hmm.
00:38:35
Ninja
And I know what you guys are saying. Safety at number 10 overall, who cares? He's the best player in this draft. It doesn't matter, but position value is useless if you're drafting bums.
00:38:48
Ninja
Get the best player in the draft for any really anyone on defense. I think he's the best, and that's what the Bengals need. So I don't care about safety going early, edge rusher. The Bengals could take anyone on the defensive side. Just take the best one, and right now in this mock draft, it's Caleb Downs, who by far and away is my number one defensive player right now.
00:39:09
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. Great pick. Incredible pick. I have no qualms. Caleb Downs, I have no problem being a top 10 pick. I think his ceiling is even like the Giants at five.
00:39:19
Dakota Zeigler
like i I think this guy, really, he's incredible.
00:39:20
Ninja
Yeah.
00:39:23
Dakota Zeigler
It's just, you know, what team values the safety position? That's the only question. It's not whether he's a great player or not because everyone knows he's incredible. It's just where do you want to take a safety? That's the only question. Great pick there for the Bengals who need everything on defense. I'm looking at the Miami Dolphins here, and, you know, yeah obviously they have a QB questions with Tua benching last year. They could probably use a wide out if, you know, Tyreek Hill doesn't want to play football anymore. But there's not really one here I think is worth this pick.
00:39:52
Ninja
Thank you.
00:39:52
Dakota Zeigler
And I don't want to take an offensive line because I also think they're really not worth this pick. So I'm going to go best corner on the board at my cornerback one. I'm going to go Mansour Delane, cornerback out of LSU.
00:40:05
Dakota Zeigler
I think he's solid. I think he's a plug and play cornerback one. I don't think he's special. Like he's not one of these like lockdown corners coming out of the draft like a Derek Stingley. He's not that kind of player, but i think he's very good.
00:40:18
Dakota Zeigler
Definitely the best cornerback that the Dolphins are going to have this season. And, you know, maybe they won't give up 400 passing yards a game now. So.
00:40:27
Ninja
I mean, i have no complaints here. And you also forced me into the very gross realization of what I'm going to do with my next pick. And I hate you for it.
00:40:33
Dakota Zeigler
I know. i know. I saw it. I'm like, ew.
00:40:35
Ninja
alum Yeah, it's gross. But I love everything about Mancer Delaney. He's my number one corner too in this draft. And it makes too much sense to not take him here for the Dolphins. But for my pick with the Cowgirls, the little itty-bitty Cowgirls, I have to take Orville Reese.
00:40:53
Dakota Zeigler
Arvel Reese fell to 12 in our mouth.
00:40:56
Ninja
And it's just... It's a lower version of Micah Parsons. It's just... Micah Parsons... Dialed back couple dials. Like, you you just turn the AC back a little bit, and it's... That's Arvel Reese.
00:41:10
Dakota Zeigler
This would be one of the crazier picks, draft day, because it's just like you know everyone's going to talk about Micah Parsons. and Well, you didn't pay him, so you just drafted his replacement, and now here we are.
00:41:17
Ninja
Yeah.
00:41:20
Ninja
It's smart, though. You save so much money doing it.
00:41:21
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:41:22
Ninja
And it's...
00:41:23
Dakota Zeigler
Jerry Jones is going to look like a genius.
00:41:23
Ninja
I think... i I love everything about that because it'll fuel his brain to do more stupid
00:41:30
Dakota Zeigler
Oh, yeah, he'll live another 15 years.
00:41:43
Ninja
Not as a primary edge rusher, but we'll see what they do with him. But he's an elite athlete with every tool in the box. So whether you have him on edge, whether you have him spying the quarterback or playing zone, I don't think it'll really matter. I think he's better spying or being on the edge. But just an elite athlete on a defense that is looking desperately for linebacker help and edge help after Micah Parsons.
00:42:07
Dakota Zeigler
Exactly. It's almost like they're missing that piece. you know I think Arville Reese is best whenever he's doing a little bit of both. Like have line up as a linebacker, have him blitz. don't really i don't think he's great off the edge.
00:42:21
Dakota Zeigler
He's awful against the run. He's too small, too undersized to play against the run. But as a pass rusher and as a coverage guy, he's very good because he's he's an incredible athlete. So you just need to utilize him in those like proper positions. So you know we'll see if they can find a way to use him. But Arvo Reese falling to 12. I've seen a lot of mock drafts. Most mock drafts I've seen, he goes two to the Jets. But in this mock, he didn't go two. And it's kind of like, well, where does he fall now? And here we go, 12 to the Dallas Cowboys. Shocker.
00:42:51
Dakota Zeigler
And now I have the LA Rams, who was kind of given a gift by at like the Atlanta last year, trading their first-round pick away to them for this season. So 13, I'm the LA Rams. I just lost in the conference final.
00:43:08
Dakota Zeigler
this This pick is kind of like free money almost. like It's almost just a given pick. So it's in my head, i I want to try and make the most out of it, and I i think this is going to be a little bit of a shocker.
00:43:19
Dakota Zeigler
I think I don't love this either because I don't love the player, but I think if if I'm the Rams, I'm in this position, I'm probably taking them. Give me Ty Simpson, quarterback at Alabama. I know.
00:43:29
Ninja
Oh wow.
00:43:30
Dakota Zeigler
I know. But hear me out. It's a free pick. It's not even your own first-round pick. You're never going to pick in the top 15 in the Sean McVay era because you're always going to make the playoffs. Yeah.
00:43:44
Dakota Zeigler
Matthew Stafford's at the end of his shelf life. You don't really have anybody else waiting in the wing the wings. like Jimmy Garoppolo's not the guy. Take a shot on a Ty Simpson and just see what happens. If it doesn't work out, who cares? It was a free first-round pick, basically. it's like in It's like getting handed a free bet in FanDuel. And it's like, well, I guess I'll throw it on this guy to score touchdown. Who cares? Like, it's free money. So I think if you're going take a shot on somebody, take a shot at the quarterback position. If it sticks, it sticks. And now you have a guy for the next, you know, five, ten years. And if it doesn't, we're back where we were before the pick. So give me Ty Simpson, 13 to the Rams.
00:44:21
Ninja
Oh, God, this is gross. And I'm not going to I want to go into more into this.
00:44:23
Dakota Zeigler
And I don't like Tyson.
00:44:26
Ninja
I don't either. So I'm glad you said that, but I'm not going to go into my full analysis until the guy I would have taken there is taken. But I'm not taking him here with my next pick. At 16, if my guy isn't taken, he's going to get taken there. And I'll tell you all about why he should have been the number 13 pick in this draft. But for number 14 for the Ravens,
00:44:47
Ninja
I can't let him slide any longer. give me Ione out of Penn State. The guard.
00:44:52
Dakota Zeigler
Mm-hmm.
00:44:53
Ninja
The manhandling guy. Dude, this guy is so good in power sets and zone sets. It's crazy. His run game blocking is next level. like it's Like, his pass pro is okay. I think he could do better. But his run blocking, I think, is up there with elite guards in this league already.
00:45:15
Ninja
and it's just he has to... Touch in on that pass for a little bit. I think this is a wonderful pick for the Ravens who have been desperately trying to fill offensive line holes for years.
00:45:27
Ninja
Now, this is a certified starter for five years with Lamar Jackson.
00:45:32
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I mean, I think this is a great pick. I think if you were doing 26 mocks before the college football season last year, this is where Ione was going before the season Penn State had happened.
00:45:44
Dakota Zeigler
I think he kind of his draft stock kind of fell after you know everyone at Penn State kind of sucked this year. But I love Ione as a player, we're just a run-blocking mauler. He'll be a staple there in the Ravens offensive line for years to come. I like Ioni a lot. Penn State also. So we are.
00:46:02
Dakota Zeigler
I have the Bucs at 15, and I'm looking at a lot of names. I'm thinking about Tight End and Kenyon Sadiq, but I don't think I'm going to pull the trigger on them.
00:46:11
Ninja
uh
00:46:13
Dakota Zeigler
Not really looking at guard because obviously Ione is now off the board, and you know I don't and don't love any of the other tackles moving in here. Now I'm looking defense. I'm staring Sonny Stiles in the face, and I think I'm going to draft him. Give me the linebacker out of Ohio State, Sonny Stiles, a future Levante David replacement there. Just need some help on that defense.
00:46:34
Dakota Zeigler
Todd Bowles, for some reason, is still the head coach of this football team, so he's probably going to go defense as well.
00:46:38
Ninja
Well, don't know.
00:46:39
Dakota Zeigler
So, yeah, Sonny Stiles, I think, falls to 15. I think Sonny Stiles is a very, very good player. So I think if I'm Tampa Bay, I'm very happy getting him here at 15.
00:46:49
Ninja
Yeah, I'd be very happy to. That's exactly what I pictured. And I'm so happy this happened to me. And I told you I'd give you some more so if this happened. The player I would have taken at 13 is still here on the board, and I'm to take him here at 16. It's Jermon McCoy.
00:47:07
Ninja
out of Tennessee, the corner.
00:47:07
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:47:09
Ninja
He's exactly who I would have picked for the Rams because it's a free pick. Take a swing at corner, your weakest position on your entire roster. Take a swing at a shutdown guy. And if he doesn't pan out, guess what? It was free.
00:47:23
Ninja
And I think that's a lot more of a risk you're willing to manage with a corner rather than a quarterback. Because now you're stuck with a quarterback for four years, whether you like it or not. With a corner, you can get out of that easy.
00:47:35
Ninja
If you don't like him, and I think he's a true boundary one. Like, he got injured this year and he didn't play, but he's a true... X cover guy like he's almost Quinone Mitchell.
00:47:48
Ninja
Like that's what he displayed in college. I'm not saying he will be that, but I I'm saying he showed traits of that and give me that, especially for the jets who traded sauce Garner away.
00:48:00
Ninja
You need another X cover. You need another guy to solidify the other teams opposing number one receiver. Give me your mom McCoy, even after a hurt season.
00:48:13
Dakota Zeigler
I think that's a good pick. I think if he's healthy, if he's fully healthy and he didn't have the ACL injury last year, he's probably CB1 and he's probably a top 10 pick. But yeah, I think him going there to the Jets at 16, they kind of also have a free pick with this. Added pick from Indianapolis. So I think i think it's a good pick. And i I have seen a lot of mocks where Jermon McCoy goes to the Rams. They were 13. I think I just kind of wanted to spice it up. No QB.
00:48:39
Dakota Zeigler
But now I have the Detroit Lions at 17.
00:48:39
Ninja
Okay.
00:48:43
Dakota Zeigler
I'm looking off offensive line because even though yeah I'm not really looking at a center because you know I can get those in the mid to late rounds. But I'm looking at a tackle. Two really I'm looking at.
00:48:56
Dakota Zeigler
and I'm going to go Caleb Lomu, tackle out of Utah.
00:49:01
Dakota Zeigler
And who is the tackle? Taylor Decker. Taylor Decker is an older offensive lineman at left tackle. He might have a year or two left. If that, you need a replacement. You need to keep that off offensive line as stout that as it is. You have Penny Sewell locked on the right side. Give me Caleb Lomu to move over to the left. Or you can move him to the right make Penny Sewell a seol the left tackle. I'm sure Penny Sewell will be a All pro left tackle as well.
00:49:24
Ninja
Thank you.
00:49:25
Dakota Zeigler
So kind of a little bit of versatility there, but solidifying the offense line for Jared Goff in that run game. So give me Caleb Lomu tackle at Utah.
00:49:35
Ninja
Yeah, I love everything about that pick. I really do. I don't think there's any problems with it, except for the guy going to take literally right after that. I think he's going to get a lot of first-round buzz, especially after the Shrine Bowl, if you guys are following that. I think he did a lot of good things, and I don't expect him. He's listed right now as tackle. I expect him to slide inside to guard and or center. Give me Jennings Dunker to the Vikings. Yeah.
00:50:02
Ninja
i think I think he's exactly what Minnesota's looking for. like That type of dude, like he's almost a Lions dude, and I wouldn't have been mad if you took him for the Lions. like He's a salt-of-the-earth type of guy just a down-nosed bruiser. and i He played tackle at Iowa. He's a guard or center.
00:50:20
Ninja
like yeah I think he's an all-pro guard. Like if he goes to the next level and plays guard, all pro. And I don't have to question it. It's just I'm getting an all pro guy first round. That's it. No questions asked.
00:50:34
Ninja
I love everything about it. And maybe it's a little early, especially for just going off of our draft board. But I've been seeing so much love for this guy after the Shrine Bowl. And I can't wait to see what he does at the Combine to just make me look so much more right that he's a first round guy.
00:50:53
Dakota Zeigler
I I definitely think it's a little bit surprising I think there's a lot of offense alignment on the board I probably would take it ahead of him but I have been hearing a a lot of very good things about him he great performance at the Shrine Bowl definitely going to be a guard at the next level and you know the Vikings need a lot of help on the O-line so I don't think that's an awful pick and maybe I would have taken a different player but position wise I think he nailed it there and now I have the Carolina Panthers, and i'm looking def defense. Kind of need help on the defensive. Secondary, mostly looking defensive line.
00:51:25
Dakota Zeigler
And I think I'm going to go Peter Woods, defensive tackle out Clemson. Top-end talent there in Peter Woods. He would have been probably a top-ten pick if he would have been able to come out in the 2025 draft class.
00:51:39
Dakota Zeigler
But coming out here in 26, a little bit of a down year for Clemson, not really producing too well. But I think talent-wise, he is a top-ten player in this draft. So give me Peter Woods out of Clemson, going to Carolina Panthers here at 19.
00:51:54
Ninja
yeah I have no complaints again. i think it's a good pick.
00:51:57
Dakota Zeigler
No qualms.
00:51:58
Ninja
No qualms, as we like to say.
00:51:59
Dakota Zeigler
We need no qualms t-shirts. Please, Zig. Thank you very much.
00:52:24
Ninja
I would love to. And then you just figure it out on the defensive side. Or do I take an actual edge or defensive line to make Arvel Reese a linebacker?
00:52:36
Ninja
I don't know. but I'm going to do this on the fly. Give me the best linebacker in this class because I like Arvo Reese more as an edge. Give me CJ Allen as a run thumper, as as a gap stopper on the linebacker core. i I think he's a round one talent. Maybe this is a bit early, especially after Arvo Reese. But now you just get more interchangeability.
00:53:03
Ninja
Wow, look at that big word.
00:53:04
Dakota Zeigler
Huge.
00:53:06
Ninja
On that defensive side, just so many guys to fill the...
00:53:06
Dakota Zeigler
How many syllables do you...
00:53:10
Ninja
us like It's what you want. You want versatility in a spot when people go down. CJ Allen provides that because I think Arvo Reese is more of an edge. CJ Allen is more of your Mike, downhill, thumper.
00:53:26
Ninja
Maybe you could have gone edge here and I wouldn't hate it, but you know what? It is what it is.
00:53:32
Dakota Zeigler
I think it's a good pick. I like CJ Allen a lot. I kind of would have loved him as a birds pick there at the end of the first round. So going it going at 20, I do not think is too early for him.
00:53:39
Ninja
I would have too.
00:53:43
Dakota Zeigler
I think he's a very, very good player. That is kind of solidifying Arvo Reese as an edge for me, which I don't think I love, but Hey, it's the Cowboys. Who cares?
00:53:53
Dakota Zeigler
I now have the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike McCarthy at 21. Honestly, if Ty Simpson was on the board, even though, you know, who someone for some reason drafted him at 13 to the Rams, I probably would have been looking at him as a possible pick here at 21 for the Steelers, even if we're, even though.
00:54:10
Ninja
Take who I want you to. There's one right pick here.
00:54:15
Dakota Zeigler
Well, I'm going to take a guy and I don't know if it's the right pick. I'm taking a wide receiver.
00:54:21
Dakota Zeigler
out Washington
00:54:22
Ninja
Yeah! yeah
00:54:24
Dakota Zeigler
Denzel Boston.
00:54:24
Ninja
Woo!
00:54:26
Dakota Zeigler
I, uh, that's crazy.
00:54:26
Ninja
Water receiver one, baby!
00:54:28
Dakota Zeigler
I love Denzel Boston. I feel like we're going to be very, very high in Denzel Boston. he is our type wide receiver, mostly your type of wide receiver, if you know what I'm talking about.
00:54:37
Ninja
yeah He's right up my alley.
00:54:38
Dakota Zeigler
Raise right up your something. But yeah, so Denzel Boston, wide receiver out of Washington.
00:54:40
Ninja
yeah
00:54:43
Dakota Zeigler
I love him here for the Steelers. DK Metcalf, you need another guy next to DK Metcalf. And as Zig knows, it's not Roman Wilson. So you need a number two wide receiver. And I think he fits in perfectly as a number two for whoever ends up being the quarterback there in Pittsburgh. So I like that pick a lot. And I am going to be pretty high in Denzel Boston this year.
00:55:04
Ninja
Yeah, as will I, because right now he's my wide receiver one.
00:55:10
Dakota Zeigler
I can't wait to see that list.
00:55:10
Ninja
It's a little spicy.
00:55:11
Dakota Zeigler
Okay.
00:55:12
Ninja
yeah wait yeah Can't wait. wait. But anyway, on to pick 22 with the Los Angeles Chargers. For me, this is an easy pick. Maybe it's not consensus, but God dang it, it's consensus enough for me. I'm taking Caden McDonald out of Ohio State, the defensive interior guy. Just straight up run step for John Harbaugh. This is his system.
00:55:36
Ninja
You stop the run early. And I hope you know I left you all the lanes open for the Eagles at 23.
00:55:41
Dakota Zeigler
Every single option I could possibly have is still here.
00:55:44
Ninja
oh yeah. I made sure it happened. I can't wait to see it.
00:55:47
Dakota Zeigler
oh man.
00:55:48
Ninja
But I also think this makes a ton of sense for the Chargers. They needed help late in the year with run stuffing, and they couldn't do it. think he's a a premier run stopper at the next level. But anyway, the pick we've all been waiting for
00:56:04
Dakota Zeigler
God it.
00:56:06
Dakota Zeigler
Okay, so look, there's a lot of options here for the Eagles at 23.
00:56:07
Ninja
Thank you.
00:56:11
Dakota Zeigler
Obviously, this is a pre-free agency mock, so we don't know who the Eagles signed or we re-signed the free agency. So I'm going to I'm going let you in on my mental gymnastics I'm doing here.
00:56:22
Dakota Zeigler
Top of my board mentally is Avion Terrell, the cornerback out of Clemson. I think he would solidify the cornerback to position. You get Quentin Mitchell on the one side. You could keep Cooper Dejean in the slot. Now we don't have to think about our second corner. I think every Avion Terrell is awesome.
00:56:44
Ninja
Thank
00:56:49
Dakota Zeigler
And he doesn't have to be the number one option, which he wasn't in Oregon. So he kind of fits in well there, but just a top end, tight end position. Kenyon Sadiq. My other thought process is A guy like Caden Proctor at tackle as a Lane Johnson replacement in a year or two, possibly even starting at right guard.
00:57:09
Dakota Zeigler
Same thing with Monroe Freeling, tackle out of Georgia.
00:57:12
Dakota Zeigler
And then it's like, well, the Eagles always draft edge. There's guys like Cassius Howell and Keldrick Folk that are here. Caleb Banks had an incredible senior bowl. TJ Parker, good edge rusher.
00:57:24
Dakota Zeigler
Or do I go wide receiver if they trade A.J. Brown? Do I go case a Casey Concepcion? Do I go down to one of my guys in Chris Bell?
00:57:34
Dakota Zeigler
I hate that you did this to me.
00:57:35
Ninja
Okay.
00:57:37
Dakota Zeigler
I'm going back to the top of my list, and I'm solidifying a strength and making it probably one of the best defensive back players. backfields in all of football. Give me Avion Terrell, quarterback of the Clemson.
00:57:53
Dakota Zeigler
I hate that you did that to me. If I'm the Eagles, if I'm the Eagles, if I'm in that position, I want picks 23, 24, 25, and 26.
00:57:55
Ninja
I love that made it to you.
00:58:02
Dakota Zeigler
I want to just draft. Because you can fill all of our holes in three to four picks in the end of this first round if that ends up being the position. If I can take Kenyon Sadiq, Avion Terrell, give me one of the edge rushers and tackle,
00:58:18
Ninja
Well, look, at there might be a quarterback, so if Ty Simpson falls a little bit, the Eagles could trade back with whoever and try and do that. But I'm so glad I made that decision on you because now I don't have to bear that burden any longer, which is very cool.
00:58:34
Dakota Zeigler
gi me what who would you have taken there?
00:58:37
Ninja
I would have taken Kenyon Sadiq.
00:58:38
Dakota Zeigler
I thought about it so hard.
00:58:41
Ninja
I would have taken Kenyon Sadiq. But you know it is what it is. But speaking of offensive playmakers for the Browns, I'm going to an offensive playmaker.
00:58:53
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
00:58:56
Ninja
A sneaky little my guy. Not really my type, but guess what? I've had him all throughout my first ever.
00:59:05
Ninja
you know college draft, college thing, whatever you want to call it, C2C. I've had Casey Concepcion from the start, and I love this kid.
00:59:17
Dakota Zeigler
Isn't that awesome?
00:59:17
Ninja
and Not to mention, he's he's a great football player too. like It's not just biased, he's really good. like As of right now, he's my wide receiver four.
00:59:28
Dakota Zeigler
Ooh.
00:59:29
Ninja
So I love that right now for the Browns, especially...
00:59:31
Dakota Zeigler
You have him. You have him ahead of Mekhi Lemon.
00:59:36
Ninja
I do.
00:59:38
Dakota Zeigler
I want to end this podcast right now.
00:59:40
Ninja
You won't, though. But after six, whoa, whoa, as six, I gave them a tackle in Spencer Fownau. This just solidifies their offensive firepower, which they've been lacking for years now.
00:59:54
Ninja
You kind of solidify the offensive line a little bit. You give whatever quarterback you want there a chance with Casey Concepcion as who would lead that wide receiver room as of now.
01:00:07
Ninja
i've I think it's a great pick. And honestly, if on the Browns, if I can trade back, I would. But Casey Concepcion falls into your lap at 24.
01:00:17
Ninja
i can't pass.
01:00:19
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I think it's a very very good pick.
01:00:19
Ninja
There's no way I can pass.
01:00:22
Dakota Zeigler
And if you're the Browns, you're probably just begging for Denzel Boston to follow you at 24. But I think Concepcion is very good courtesy pick there.
01:00:27
Ninja
yeah
01:00:33
Dakota Zeigler
Now I have the Chicago Bears at 25, and I'm looking defense. A guy kind of want to talk about who I think I'm going to take here is Caleb Banks. Defensive tackle from Florida. Had an incredible senior bowl. Was unblockable at the senior bowl. Very, very good player. Gives you a little bit of pass rush and a pretty good player against the run as well on the interior. And the Bears need help. all across the defensive line, the de defense in general. like I think they're going to have one of those drafts that like the Carolina Panthers had like a couple years ago where they had this draft, like seven defensive players.
01:01:09
Dakota Zeigler
But I like Caleb Banks a lot. If he can stay healthy, he's going very good there for Chicago.
01:01:15
Ninja
Yeah, I definitely agree. he's He has so much upside. It's just a matter of if he can reach that upside.
01:01:22
Dakota Zeigler
Mm-hmm.
01:01:22
Ninja
I think he's spectacular. But for pick number 26 with the Bills, this is very straight, simple. This is straight up edge. And it's just who you like more between Cassius Howell and Kendrick Falk.
01:01:36
Ninja
And I don't know which one I like more. I haven't done too much of edge work in this draft, which is why i'm not taking either of them, baby. I'm taking TJ Parker. You like that little deception there?
01:01:48
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, he's like, I don't want to make a decision.
01:01:49
Dakota Zeigler
I'm going to go with Dorsey, please.
01:01:51
Ninja
But he's the guy I've heard about for years now who has been developing his traits for years. It's not just a one-trick pony. It's not a one-year type of guy. It's a guy I've been hearing about for years.
01:02:02
Ninja
And i I think he fits well with their scheme. In a 4-3 scheme, I think TJ Parker can eat as a primary pass rusher. But that leaves you up with the pick number 27 with the 49ers, buddy.
01:02:14
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, I think that's a very good pick. TJ Parker on the other side of Greg Russo. I think he got a decent little defense building there and in Buffalo. And now I'm here with the 49ers at 27.
01:02:26
Dakota Zeigler
Could go edge. Not really looking at a safety, even though there is a guy I like out of Toledo.
01:02:32
Ninja
Pick him.
01:02:33
Ninja
Pick him.
01:02:34
Ninja
Do it.
01:02:34
Dakota Zeigler
There's another guy i like out of Oregon.
01:02:36
Dakota Zeigler
But I'm going to kind of surprise you here.
01:02:38
Dakota Zeigler
George Kittle goes down late in the year with an Achilles injury. He's old. He's banged up. He's George Brittle. We all know that. You know what Kyle Shanahan loves?
01:02:50
Ninja
A good tight end, don't we all?
01:02:51
Dakota Zeigler
He loves a good tight end, buddy. Give me Kenyon Sadiq to the 49ers.
01:02:54
Ninja
Love it.
01:02:56
Dakota Zeigler
Make your strength even stronger. Same thing I did with the Eagles couple picks ago. Kenyon Sadiq to the 49ers. I think it's just gorgeous. You can even play both of them together. Kittle, if he's healthy, and Kenyon Sadiq for like a year. Kittle's got two to three years left, if we're being completely honest.
01:03:14
Dakota Zeigler
He can't keep going at this rate. He's 31 with an Achilles injury at tight end. His whole thing is being explosive and fast and running after the catch. He's probably he's probably at the twilight of his career.
01:03:26
Dakota Zeigler
you yeah You take him out and you bring Kenyon Sadiq in there to learn from George Kittle for a year or two, and then you... Just give them the reins to that offense. I think it's going to be an incredible transition, and I am that's a good pick right there.
01:03:42
Dakota Zeigler
I'm going to pat myself the back.
01:03:43
Ninja
Yeah, yeah yeah
01:03:44
Dakota Zeigler
I'm gonna give myself one of these two.
01:03:45
Ninja
yeah you should because that was my pick for the next team. that That was my pick.
01:03:50
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
01:03:50
Ninja
You robbed me.
01:03:51
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
01:03:52
Ninja
You robbed me and it was so cold, so cold-blooded, so disheartening.
01:03:57
Dakota Zeigler
My app is so cold.
01:04:00
Dakota Zeigler
It's my Chris. Yeah.
01:04:04
Ninja
For the Texans, it's very simple for me. I'm taking Caden Proctor.
01:04:09
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. Yeah.
01:04:09
Ninja
Tackle, I think he has an okay shot to play guard. I just am worried about his hand speed, his hand placement. But if you can slide someone else into guard and let him play right tackle, I think I'm okay with it.
01:04:24
Ninja
I think he has all the athleticism traits, all the physical traits that you want as a tackle. It's just, can he get his hand game going? That sounds a little weird, but for all you real deep NFL guys, you know where I'm going.
01:04:38
Ninja
Just hand placement hasn't been good this year. and i I'm worried a little bit, but he's a first round talent nonetheless. And for an offensive line needy team,
01:04:50
Ninja
He's the one that fell to you, so you have to take him. It is what it is.
01:04:55
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah. I like the pick. I like Keenan Proctor. I think he's gotten a lot of he's gotten a bad rap because he didn't have a great 2025 for Alabama. A lot of people thought he would solidify himself as like a bona fide you know starting left tackle at the NFL level, and he's just not that.
01:05:12
Dakota Zeigler
I think he's a little bit of a project. And if you're Houston, I don't know if you necessarily need a project right now. You kind of need a guy to step in do right away. But Proctor's got all the upside. I mean, he's a mammoth of

NFL Draft Picks Discussion

01:05:23
Dakota Zeigler
a man. He's 365.
01:05:27
Dakota Zeigler
So if he can figure it out, he's going be a monster for years. So I don't hate to pick at all, especially at the end of the first. And now I have the Rams pick again at 29. I did give them Ty Simpson earlier, and, you know, I got a lot of slack from that from my partner for not taking a corner.

I'm looking at corner now, there's a couple names I like. Brandon Cissé out South Carolina. He's okay. I don't love him. Keith Abney, same thing. a guy I do like, though, who I guess I Is he their their teammates? Oh, give me the other Tennessee corner from the one I should have taken earlier. Give me Colton Hood, cornerback out of Tennessee.
01:06:05
Dakota Zeigler
Another guy I think is just solid. I think he is a first round talent. I think he's going to end up sneaking in to the end of the first round, which I have him doing here. But yeah, Rams need corner. It's their biggest need on the defensive side of things. You bring back Chris Shula as a DC, you know, you pigeonhole them from getting a head coaching job this year. Give a starting corner so that way you can, you know, keep them happy for another year.
01:06:29
Ninja
Yeah, I think that's a good pick. And you're kind of thinking on the same wavelengths I was with my next pick, with the pick number 30 with the Broncos. I may surprise people a little bit.
01:06:41
Ninja
And Zig, I promise it's not just, you know, get at you. I'm going Eli Stowers, tight end out of Vanderbilt. I think he's an athletic freak. I really do. I think he's going to test great at the Combine.
01:06:55

And I think...

So what Payton was talking about, like a Joker card with... whoever their tight end is now. Used to be Giants one.

Evan Ingram. Yeah, he's a bum. Eli Stowers is the is a real Joker card. A great and contested catch. Elite athleticism.

Guys, I can't get over how much I love his film. For tight end, he's really pushing on 1B, not number 2. I hope everyone knows this. I'm stating it now.
01:07:27
Ninja
Loud and obvious. Eli Stowers might be 1B.
01:07:34
Dakota Zeigler
I love you, but that might be the craziest thing you've said on podcasts.

Gotta watch some film, buddy.

I'm looking at the Patriots here at 31.
01:07:50
Dakota Zeigler
We're in the Super Bowl, and I'm i'm trying to find some you know negatives on this team. and if i'm If I'm looking hard, it's definitely offensive line.
01:08:00
Dakota Zeigler
Guard tackle Monroe Freeling. I'm looking at...
01:08:06
Dakota Zeigler
I'm trading out of this pick if I can, but obviously we're not doing this in this draft. These edge wrestlers are kind of falling, and I think they're going to continue the fall because I'm going to take Monroe Freeling, tackle out of Georgia. i like this kid. I think he's pretty good. He's 6'7", 315. Honestly, a little light for a Georgia tackle coming out of the draft. I think he has a chance to play guard.
01:08:28
Dakota Zeigler
At the next level, obviously the Patriots drafted Will Campbell and they started him a left tackle this year and it's gone kind of eh. I think if they end up know moving Will Campbell to guard and maybe trying out Freeling at left tackle, that could work out great or vice versa. But at this point, you just need to draft to good players on the defensive line and then figure it out later. yeah.
01:08:49
Dakota Zeigler
Jimmy Ronro-Freeling tackle out of Georgia to the New England Patriots. And Mike Vrabel up there in New England.
01:08:56
Ninja
Love that. I really do love that.
01:08:57
Dakota Zeigler
Finishes off. here
01:08:59
Ninja
And so that leaves me with the last pick in this draft. and it's pretty simple for me. I'm taking Brandon Cissé out South Carolina, the corner. i think he's a man-up nightmare, which is what exactly the Seahawks run. So you just add to his strength already, and I love everything about it.
01:09:16
Ninja
There's not much more to say.

Dakota Zeigler
Love it. Good pick. And that concludes our one first round mock draft. The first one we've done this off season. That was a great time, buddy. I think we did very well. A couple of surprises in there, a couple of shockers, a couple of chalky picks as always. But I think that was, that was very fun to do.
01:09:34
Dakota Zeigler
and I kind of want to give a quick shout out. Maybe we can get a quick little sponsor, but we did use the PFF mock draft simulator. So PFF, if you want to actually give us a free subscription membership and or, you know, some kind of advertising deal, we would love that for the future. Worst comes to worst, I'll just take a free subscription because I don't want to pay to use your mock draft simulator. So thanks for this free one a day mock, which I think we took full advantage of. Just to kind of recap. A lot of wide receivers going in the first round. we're goingnna I'm going to run through them pretty quick. Fernando Mendoza goes one. Jordan Tyson goes two. Francis Maui Noah goes three. Reuben Bain goes four.
01:10:14
Dakota Zeigler
Cardinal Tate goes five. Spencer Fano goes six. David Bailey goes seven. Jeremiah Love goes eight. Makai Lemon goes nine. Caleb Downs goes 10. Montserrat Delane goes 11. Arvel Reese goes 12. Ty Simpson goes to the Rams at 13.
01:10:30

Big O Iowan a guard out of Penn State goes 14. Sonny Stiles goes 15. Jermon McCoy goes 16. Caleb Lomu goes 17. Jennings Dunker goes 18.
01:10:43
Dakota Zeigler
Shocker. Peter Woods goes 19. CJ Allen goes 20. Denzel Boston goes 21. Caden McDonald goes 22. Avion Terrell goes to the birds 23 Casey Concepcion goes 24 Caleb Banks goes 25 TJ Parker goes 26 Kenyon Steak goes 27 Caden Proctor goes 28 Colton Hood goes 29 Eli Stowers goes to the Denver Broncos at 30 Zig leave me your comment leave me your comment in the comments Monroe Freeling goes 31 and Brendan Cise goes 32 halfway through that I regret

1B?
01:11:59
Dakota Zeigler
Sure. It's fair. You're not wrong. But yeah, this is a fun podcast as always. This a very good time. We'll definitely probably do at least one more mock draft if I had to bet, probably after free agency right before the draft. So tune into that one to see how that changes. You have definitely at least one.
01:12:15
Dakota Zeigler
But I think we did pretty well. A couple fun picks in here, a couple of non-consensus picks like 30 picks. I think the fact that you said Stowers was like 1B to Kenyon Sadiq, that's really what was like. That's that's stupid. That don't make any sense.
01:12:31
Dakota Zeigler
Oh, I'll watch some film. All right. But yes, speaking of, yes, we are going to be doing some rookie breakdowns in the next coming weeks. We'll definitely go by position. And, you know, there's not too much to talk about quarterback wise this pod. So we'll probably combine that with something else. But.
01:12:48
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, maybe four. Yeah, it's more it's closer to to four than it is 14. Yeah, yeah if we're being honest. But yeah, so with that being said, I'm trying to get another advertiser for the podcast. Dynasty Nerds, if anybody needs... When we talk about scouting, one of the websites I use is Dynasty Nerds.
01:13:10
Dakota Zeigler
I do subscribe to them. They do put out all 22 tape on all of the... rookies coming out of this draft, they even have future picks, 2027 players, 2028 players, all dynasty related football related players. So if you ever need a website to actually look at those all 22 tape and watch film for yourself, you you know, your fancy football junkie like me, dynasty nerves is a website to go. Please give me a free sponsor. Please, please. I love you, please. but yeah, uh, buddy, do you have anything to say before we end this podcast here?
01:13:43
Dakota Zeigler
What?
01:13:45
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
01:13:49
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah, this is a great to podcast. Yeah, it's going to be a great time. I'm very excited for the podcast we have coming up in the future. A lot of mock drafts, lot of rookie talk, a lot of fixture division, which I think is going to be a fun little segment we do this offseason.
01:14:02
Dakota Zeigler
We're going to try and go weekly still. I know we're going to say that and not end up doing it, but we're going to try and still do weekly. Obviously, life things are going to kind of get in the way. And that just kind of is what it is. You know, hand up accountability. That's on me. But, yeah, stay tuned. It's going to be some fun podcasts this offseason. It's not your typical football podcast time of year. But stay tuned with your ZNG boys. You know, don't give up on us this offseason.
01:14:26
Dakota Zeigler
Yeah.
