Week 1 Overreactions in Fantasy Football

00:01:04
Nacc
In today's episode, we're going to be breaking down ah the players you must start and the ones um our but you're better to fade. So basically, we're going to go through two QBs that we love, QBs that we hate, and so on and so forth with the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends.
00:01:21
Nacc
And just one little thing before we get started here. i know every year it happens the same way. Everyone overreacts after week one, everyone freaks out over the waiver wire.
00:01:31
Nacc
Although this week it wasn't so much just this year. i don't think it was that crazy on the way where there was no, there was not that one player that commanded like that $55, but, um, you know, there's always going to be those players that stand out week one and everyone overreacts.
00:01:36
Fab
Mm-mm.
00:01:46
Nacc
And there's a bunch of shuffling of your teams, play your studs, keep your studs in your lineup. You drafted them for a reason. Perfect example, last year after week one, Joe Mixon was RB2.
00:01:57
Nacc
so Jordan Mason was RB5. ah Players like Jaden Reed, Cooper Cup were were in the top five for for wide receivers last year. So ah I would not overreact if you drafted Jamar Chase and he didn't do too great for you this week. There's no reason to bench Jamar Chase in week two or start looking for trades.
00:02:15
Nacc
I would just keep it going. Don't overreact week one. That's our biggest, biggest takeaway from week one.
00:02:23
Fab
and Is it just me or we're like, the score is really, really low. Like, i it wasn't.
00:02:30
Nacc
Yep. Unders were 12 and 4 last week.
00:02:32
Fab
i
00:02:34
Nacc
four last week
00:02:35
Fab
Yeah. and Yeah. So that that's a big thing that I don't think everyone's really taking into consideration. Like, I know we play on Yahoo and everyone has their points projections. And even I was saying this too during the week. It's like, okay, maybe the projection is just really, really high.
00:02:48
Fab
But everyone missed on their projections. And only a handful of teams in our league, I think two, actually beat out

Week 2 Score Expectations

00:02:56
Fab
their projections for the week, which, you know, like exactly what you said, Nak, you know, like the unders played last week.
00:02:56
Roger Emeka
yeah
00:03:02
Fab
So hopefully there's going to be a regression to the mean this week, you know, like scores are going to be up, which are obviously going to equate to more fantasy points. But yeah, definitely be careful on overreacting.
00:03:12
Fab
But hey, if somebody in our league wants to drop Jamar Chase, go for it. I'm not going stop you.
00:03:16
Roger Emeka
well The defense always is ahead of the offense.
00:03:20
Nacc
Yeah.
00:03:20
Roger Emeka
Right after training camp, within preseason, it's very normal.
00:03:20
Fab
Yeah, good point. Don't get cute.
00:03:24
Nacc
Yeah, it's always, and it's always like this first game jitters too. It's, uh, it's to be expected, but, uh, player studs don't keep them in the lineup.
00:03:27
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:03:32
Fab
so get q
00:03:33
Nacc
Don't get cute. So whether you're wanting to know, we're looking to keep rolling, uh, or, or, and, or, or own one, should I say, and desperate for a bounce back?

Review of Last Week's Picks

00:03:44
Nacc
Uh, we've definitely got you covered and let's dive right in But before we do,
00:03:49
Nacc
Let's just go over quickly our picks from last week. Did not get off to a hot start. Me and Roger collectively went four and six for the week. I went three and three hitting on ah Baker Mayfield, Ricky Purcell, and DK Metcalf.
00:04:05
Nacc
I lost with Trevor Lawrence as a love and Justin Fields and JJ McCarthy as a hate. And those were big time misses on, on those ones.
00:04:16
Nacc
Rod,
00:04:16
Roger Emeka
You look good on McCarthy for like three quarters.
00:04:19
Fab
There's...
00:04:19
Nacc
Yeah, I know.
00:04:19
Fab
but
00:04:20
Nacc
I was like, oh, that one was it was in the bag. You know, went to sleep and I was i was cooking, you know. But no, that definitely did not work out. ah You lost both your loves in Tank Bigsby and David Njoku.
00:04:31
Roger Emeka
Oh my god.
00:04:33
Nacc
And also your hates. Your buddy Kyle Pitts put up almost 13 fantasy points.
00:04:37
Fab
and there's there's there's
00:04:39
Nacc
And Omarion Hampton was shy of 10 points. So hoping to bounce back here in in week two. Raj, you're shaking your head there, but I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Why don't you why don't you start us off with some QBs that you love this week?

Quarterback Picks for Week 2

00:04:56
Roger Emeka
I'm feeling good and feeling great about my love and hates this week. First QB that I love, Jared Goff. Consensus ranked QB 18 in week two.
00:05:07
Roger Emeka
So revenge game, he's at home versus Ben Johnson and the Bears. So obviously a lot of familiarity on that front. He had five touchdowns, 550 yards and 120 QB rating in both games versus Chicago last year.
00:05:16
Fab
Thank you.
00:05:21
Roger Emeka
Again, he faces his old coordinator. So I think there's going to be some aspects about that about that defense or that offense. They're going to know. They're going to know what's coming up. They're going to know how to play it play each other a little bit. ah The offense stank against the Packers, but he still completed 31 of 39 passes, one TD, one INT.
00:05:38
Roger Emeka
Just couldn't push the ball down the field. And they did you obviously lose those two impact offense alignment last year or this this year in Kevin Zeitler and Frank Ragnow. The Bears don't have a Micah Parsons in the back the backfield. I don't think their defense as is as good as the as the Packers.
00:05:54
Roger Emeka
And I'm willing to give Goff the benefit of the doubt against the Bears D that basically choked against rookie J.J. McCarthy. um And I trust those group of skill players way more to bounce back.
00:06:06
Nacc
I like it. and not going to keep Detroit's offense down two weeks in a row, I feel.
00:06:13
Fab
Yeah.
00:06:13
Nacc
What about but by your second QB?
00:06:16
Roger Emeka
Fab, what do you think?
00:06:17
Fab
I'm not convinced.
00:06:18
Nacc
Ooh.
00:06:19
Fab
um I'm not convinced, to be honest with you.
00:06:20
Roger Emeka
Not so fast, my friend.
00:06:20
Nacc
Some spice. Some spice.
00:06:21
Fab
Yeah, I'm... ah Again, first game jitters, all that stuff. We saw how they played against a good Packers defense. Now, when Micah Parsons there. So, that i don't want to continue I don't want to completely poo-poo on Jared Goff this week. I just don't... Listen, I i can see the upside. i can see the appeal.
00:06:42
Fab
But do you see him as a QB1 this week? Right now, as QB, his cubema is ranking is 18, right? Like you said, you is he going to knock on the door of top 12?
00:06:51
Roger Emeka
ah for for me For me, Fab, like if you're in 2QB super flex, like definitely get him in your lineup. I think because this is a home game for the Lions, they are going to be amped up to face Ben Johnson. There was a lot of...
00:07:05
Roger Emeka
ah back and forth, so to speak, between Amon Ross St. Brown and Jameer Gibbs about Ben Johnson going to Chicago division rival. Ben Johnson has talked a lot of smack in the offseason about, you know, facing the Vikings, facing Matt LaFleur.
00:07:21
Roger Emeka
um And I think they're going to want to show up and show out against the Packers. They were one in four one of four in the red zone last week last week versus the Packers. That is 70% red zone touchdown conversion in 2024.
00:07:36
Roger Emeka
That doesn't just go away just because Ben Johnson is not there. And I've been skeptical of Jared Goff in the past. I think the fact that he doesn't play well in Green Bay, he historically has not played very well in Green Bay, and their defense is very stout. they added mark Parsons played like 29 snaps, and he wreaked havoc on them.
00:07:54
Fab
Yeah. Yeah.
00:07:55
Nacc
yeah
00:07:56
Roger Emeka
I just don't see anyone on the Bears right now doing that.
00:07:56
Fab
and
00:08:01
Roger Emeka
But I could be wrong, but I don't think I will in terms of Goff. think he's going to show
00:08:05
Nacc
No, I think, like you said, they're back at home for week and for for week two and Look, they got week one out of the way, the jitters. we Everyone kind of knew was going to be a rocky start. Maybe not to that degree, but I mean, as you alluded, he did complete 31 out of 39 passes. That's pretty good.
00:08:22
Roger Emeka
yeah
00:08:23
Fab
yeah
00:08:23
Nacc
30 plus completions in ah in a game. So yeah, I definitely agree with your bounce back. who's Who's the second QB you got this week?
00:08:33
Roger Emeka
Second QB a favorite of Fabs, CJ Stroud. I quite love CJ Stroud this week.
00:08:38
Fab
I like this. Yeah.
00:08:39
Roger Emeka
Consensus ranked QB 21 in week two. Monday night home opener versus the Bucs. If you look at his overarching stats, they looked average, but he was pressured on 41% of dropbacks last week.
00:08:51
Roger Emeka
like it's it's not It seems like the offensive line stuff hasn't improved, but he was 9 of 10 for 102 yards, and he was 6 of 6 versus the Blitz and versus one of the best fronts in the league in the Rams with Jared Verse and Brandon Fisk.
00:09:06
Roger Emeka
So he faces a Bucks D that was one of the worst last week, and on 43 dropbacks versus Michael Penix Jr. last week, they only pressured MPJ three times. And we all know how bad that pass defense it was last year. so I also trust Stroud.
00:09:22
Roger Emeka
Week two against the Bucs, home opener. It's the first leg of a Monday night doubleheader, and i think he'll bounce back quite well.
00:09:32
Fab
I'm much more on board with this one. Especially seeing as a lot like the Rams are legit. I think their defense is is is real and Stroud wasn't addressed the entire week, but the entire game last week.
00:09:37
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:09:42
Fab
So I, yeah, I think he's due for a bounce back game and i and I like this matchup this week. So I'm, You're one for one with me with the loves this week. Here we go.
00:09:51
Roger Emeka
but Like, look, it's still week two, right? So it's hard to, like, yes, we you are going to have to take some trends from last year in terms of how teams defended.
00:09:57
Fab
Yeah, for sure.
00:10:00
Roger Emeka
um But you you have to take in, like, the overla overarching things. Like, how are they how did the QB face against the Blitz versus when they were pressured, so on and so forth. But again, I think off all the offenses are catching up. I hope to see nicos Nico Collins ah step up in a big way this week as well.
00:10:15
Fab
Yeah, that makes two of us.
00:10:17
Nacc
Yeah.
00:10:17
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:10:18
Nacc
Wow, look, I think that, like you you said, that secondary is not not as stout as as people thought it was going to be. And I think he definitely will have opportunities at home, home opener. a Home opener usually always gets you kind of juiced up, right? Especially at the beginning. so
00:10:34
Roger Emeka
And the last thing I'll say just about last week, Nick Caley, the new OC ah for the Texans, he was under McVay's staff.
00:10:42
Nacc
That McVay tree.
00:10:43
Roger Emeka
And they faced around. So that's a big aspect in terms of how, you know, maybe they were able to stop CJ Straub last week.
00:10:45
Fab
Yep. yep
00:10:50
Roger Emeka
QBs I hate.
00:10:50
Nacc
Could be.
00:10:50
Roger Emeka
The two QBs I hate. So had a great week one. not going to take it away from him. But I am very skeptical on Daniel Jones this week. Consensus ranked QB 24 in week two.
00:11:02
Roger Emeka
At home against the very stout Denver Bronco defense. So last week, the Broncos pressured Cam Ward on 53% of dropbacks in week one. The that defense generated six sacks and held Tennessee to 2.3 yards per play.
00:11:18
Roger Emeka
Yes, I get it. Jones carved up Miami, but they couldn't get any pressure, and I just don't see Denver letting that happen. They're a top three unit versus QBs last year, so I would strongly fade or at least temper my expectations on Daniel Jones in two QBs.
00:11:29
Fab
Yeah.
00:11:34
Nacc
I think he's going to, it's going to be a complete 180. He's going to go from MVP to what are you doing in this league? Especially against that Denver. I mean, Denver probably blitzed that much last game because they were playing a rookie.
00:11:47
Roger Emeka
Exactly.
00:11:47
Nacc
They're trying to get them, you know, under duress and trying to get them not in a rhythm.
00:11:48
Fab
yeah
00:11:51
Nacc
He did obviously have ah have a tough game, but yeah, this is I think this is a pretty easy call, pretty easy fade here. i think he's going to come back down to earth.
00:12:03
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:12:03
Nacc
Let's just put it that way.
00:12:03
Fab
Yeah.
00:12:04
Roger Emeka
Fab, we know how it is with Daniel. Like when he gets pressured, it's.
00:12:07
Fab
that he He did look very good last week, but at the same time, you need definitely need to see more of a body of work from him and and a quality body of work for you to be comfortable starting him.
00:12:09
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:12:19
Fab
And even after you would have seen that body of work and you're comfortable starting him, I still wouldn't start him versus Denver defense.
00:12:26
Roger Emeka
You got to wait a bit for it to.
00:12:27
Fab
Like, there's not a lot of quarterbacks that you feel confident about starting versus Denver.
00:12:32
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:12:33
Fab
and apart
00:12:33
Nacc
Their defense is legit.
00:12:35
Fab
Yeah, exactly. like It's not even to knock Daniel Jones. Right right now, like we can't forget how good Denver's defense is. And they're very good.
00:12:42
Roger Emeka
Yeah, totally. And the bookend on my hates for this week, Sam Darnold versus Pittsburgh, consensus ranked QB 29 on the road versus the Steelers coming out East. this is basically a morning game for Seattle traveling to Pittsburgh.
00:13:01
Roger Emeka
I they're going to establish the run with Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. We saw that Pittsburgh gave up 200 yards rushing last week, and the Seahawks had a 50% rush rate last week as well. They did not really let Sam Darnold try to throw the ball.
00:13:17
Roger Emeka
And I still think working through that revamped offensive line, that pass blocking, I think, is still to be decided. But on the run blocking standpoint, they looked they look quite good ah from a run scheme perspective.
00:13:28
Roger Emeka
um So with no Justin Fields level RPO ability, I think the Steelers D should fare much better against Sam Darnold.
00:13:38
Nacc
I don't have much more to add to that. I'd definitely be reserved from starting in this week as well.
00:13:47
Nacc
Fab?
00:13:47
Fab
I agree.
00:13:49
Nacc
Yeah, that's pretty good.
00:13:50
Fab
I only had only really had issue with the Jared Goff pick, to be honest with you. But the other three so far, eight if you go 3-1 this week, man, it's a lot better than 2-2.
00:13:58
Roger Emeka
I need it.
00:14:00
Fab
Especially after, especially especially dogging your boy Kyle Pitts last week.
00:14:00
Nacc
I need it.
00:14:00
Roger Emeka
i but yeah, 12.9 points.
00:14:00
Nacc
we are I think we all need it. Yeah.
00:14:04
Fab
Like, he heard that disrespect and he said, no, i'm going to put this on my back.
00:14:06
Nacc
Oh, yeah. They did.
00:14:08
Fab
Hey, dude, that's that was more than most, like, of all the other tight ends that played last week.
00:14:14
Roger Emeka
Actually, the Titans had a pretty good week last year, last week. i have to say, there's some good young Titans coming out, right?
00:14:17
Nacc
They did.
00:14:18
Fab
Yeah, but it's the wrong tight ends had good weeks last week.
00:14:20
Roger Emeka
Yeah. Yeah,
00:14:21
Nacc
They did. They did.
00:14:22
Fab
Not the ones that anyone expected to play well.
00:14:24
Roger Emeka
yeah exactly.
00:14:26
Nacc
That'll do it for our QBs. Fab, why don't you get us and get us started here with a couple running backs that you like this week?
00:14:35
Fab
Don't mind if I

Running Back Highlights and Concerns

00:14:36
Fab
do. So I'm actually going to stick with the Seattle and Pittsburgh game for my first love, Mr. Zach Charbonnet at Pittsburgh. So further to Roger's point, Brees all like ripped them up last week.
00:14:48
Fab
Thanks to a heavy, heavy dose of of zone runs, which which also worked well for Zach Charbonnet last week versus San Francisco. So I think you can expect Clint Kubiak to draw up the same sort of results this week as well.
00:15:01
Fab
I think Zach taking over this backfield is sort of like the worst kept secret. It's sort of been humming all throughout the offseason. And at the very least, it is a is very much a full-blown committee.
00:15:15
Fab
at the same time, I think this week he starts to pull away right now he's Right now, he's ranked as RB30. I see him being a mid-range RB2 this week.
00:15:26
Fab
Just to put things into further perspective, right? So Kenneth Walker had six gap runs to four zone last week. It was a 9-2 split for Zach Charbonnet. So he runs a lot more zone, which I think will favor him this week versus Pittsburgh defense, which is why if he's in my lineup, if I have Zach Charbonnet, he's definitely my lineup 100%.
00:15:46
Fab
Because I think he can definitely rip up and have a very, very good week this week.
00:15:50
Roger Emeka
You convinced me I have a ton of Zach Charbonnet stock. think I'm going start him.
00:15:53
Fab
And i have I have Kenneth Walker III, and I'm like, all right, got to put him in. I got nobody else, but...
00:15:57
Roger Emeka
Someone, someone, but go ahead, Nick.
00:15:57
Nacc
They were, yeah, sorry, I just wanted to quickly, so that I fully agree on the timeshare.
00:16:06
Nacc
Although the snap share was about 60-40,
00:16:09
Fab
Yep. 60-40 in favor of Kenneth Walker.
00:16:09
Nacc
um Kenneth Walker actually did out-touch him thirteen to twelve and actually did have some catches um in that game, three catches for 24
00:16:14
Fab
Yes, yes. Yeah. Yeah.
00:16:20
Nacc
So I think in this scenario, that touchdown kind of saved Charbonnet last week. He had 12 carries for 47 yards, so it doesn't really jump off the page.
00:16:30
Nacc
I think it's going to be a hard backfield to trust as a standalone because you're going to be guessing on who's going to get that touchdown in any given week.
00:16:38
Fab
Yeah. And to be completely fair, Clint Kubiak was pretty transparent in saying that he wants to use both of the running backs. And he has he runs an offense that you can have two running backs that will produce fantasy points in a week-in, week-out basis, that's just more from a flex perspective versus starting RB2s or RB1s.
00:17:00
Fab
And I think that's the knock more on Kenneth Walker than Charbonnet.
00:17:03
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:17:04
Fab
Because you had a guy that was being drafted as RB18 or 17, 16, wherever he was being drafted as. Well, when he's being drafted in the top 20, right, you've got to start him every week.
00:17:15
Fab
But that's not the case for Charbonne. And I think this week you really see, oh, wow, you know, Charbonne is more the guy that Kenneth Walker, just from a matchup perspective, just from the way he plays, just from, you know, the zones versus the the gap runs and all that stuff.
00:17:28
Fab
I think he has a nice game versus Pittsburgh this week. But if we come back to this next week and they both had good games, hey, do get both loves for that?
00:17:36
Nacc
i hope I hope that they both don't have good games.
00:17:39
Fab
yeah but Yeah, obviously, obviously.
00:17:43
Roger Emeka
It always comes back to the Steelers.
00:17:43
Nacc
Spoiler alert, everyone. I'm a Steelers fan.
00:17:45
Roger Emeka
It always comes back to the Steelers.
00:17:46
Fab
it's we we need We need at least four plugs an episode.
00:17:47
Nacc
Well, I mean, they were playing the Steelers. We were talking about it. I mean, Raj had something to add.
00:17:52
Fab
Well, we can't talk about the Giants for obvious reasons. Yeah.
00:17:54
Roger Emeka
ah No, I agree i agree with Fab. I just think it's... I really think it's going be run-first offense this year.
00:18:00
Nacc
For sure.
00:18:00
Roger Emeka
Defensive coach, I think they want to run first.
00:18:00
Nacc
For sure.
00:18:01
Fab
Yeah, I agree with that a lot.
00:18:02
Nacc
For sure.
00:18:03
Fab
I think i think it's going to be a lot more JSN than anything else, and you saw it week one, too.
00:18:06
Roger Emeka
Yes. Yep.
00:18:08
Fab
I think I'm just waiting for like another week or two before I can drop Cooper Cup. But... so
00:18:16
Nacc
Rule number one, don't overreact to week one.
00:18:18
Fab
I mean, are we really overreacting to dropping Cooper Cup, who was drafted in the 14th round?
00:18:19
Nacc
But
00:18:23
Nacc
who's who's your second running back you like?
00:18:26
Fab
Uh, Travion Henderson at Miami. So like our Miami this year, uh, the ah Panthers of last year, where like you just start all your players against them because that team is just like completely awful. Like they have no defense. And ah Guido, if you're listening, I apologize. Like we're, you and I are in the same boat. We're just rowing different oars. You know what i mean Um, but like, are, are the Panthers like, and that's how I see it.
00:18:45
Fab
And like, you got to start your starters against them, my opinion. And, New England's O-line was blocking really well versus Las Vegas. And Anderson did show some bursts. And there was some chops in his receiving game too.
00:18:55
Nacc
Thank
00:18:55
Fab
I think he won like six for six. So this it's great to see. So I think this is another game where he'll be the better back in the committee. Everyone's, again, this is probably more of a worst-kept secret than the Charbonnet thing. like ah Like they drafted him. So he is going to definitely be the guy at some point.
00:19:12
Fab
But I also think that this is the first game where he really starts to distance himself. And he's going right now, he's ranked as RB23 in PPR as per Fantasy Pros.
00:19:24
Fab
We love you, Fantasy Pros. you want sponsor us, go for it. um So I think Trayvon Henderson definitely is another mid-range RB2. i think he like I think he's primed for a good game. I think this is an excellent, excellent matchup versus a very dysfunctional Miami team.
00:19:44
Nacc
yeah Yeah, he's just, he hasn't been the same player at all.
00:19:46
Roger Emeka
Ramondre 38th, man. I think i think analysts are catching up to that.
00:19:48
Fab
Yeah. All right. Yeah.
00:19:50
Roger Emeka
and he was seven carries, 15 yards. He had like one really good year, and he's been cooked the past two years.
00:19:57
Fab
He had one really good year, man.
00:20:00
Nacc
And they, but you know what they, he's more utilized. He was, well he did a lot more damage in the passing game.
00:20:06
Roger Emeka
Yes.
00:20:06
Nacc
So you stop passing to him, um,
00:20:08
Fab
Yeah.
00:20:10
Nacc
You know, he wasn't that effective as a runner all that much, I feel. I think was, or he may have been that one year, but I'm i'm saying he was really effective catching the football.
00:20:19
Fab
I agree. And I was actually surprised when I saw that's that stat. He doesn't strike me as an effective pass casher. I was always thought of him as like one of those north-south runners. You know what i mean? but ah yeah So that stat really jumped out of me when I saw it.
00:20:35
Nacc
Awesome. And what about some running backs that you don't like this week?
00:20:40
Fab
So, um you just everyone just calm down, okay? Ashton Gentry versus the Chargers. I'm not a fan of this matchup this week. ah The Chargers defense is really good, and we saw it last week.
00:20:55
Fab
um So, Gentty also was he finished his RB24 versus New England last week. I know we're not supposed to overreact, and I'm not. He did have very good usage, but there was some not-so-good O-line play that makes it tough to trust even a highly-touted rookie. And the one stat that I really was surprised about, so his yards before contact,
00:21:17
Fab
Last week.
00:21:18
Roger Emeka
it
00:21:19
Fab
Negative 0.32.
00:21:22
Fab
He was getting contact behind the line of scrimmage.
00:21:22
Nacc
what Oh yeah.
00:21:23
Roger Emeka
Yeah, I so i read i listened i had listened to a podcast. I heard this too.
00:21:27
Fab
Negative 0.32. He was getting, like, he was getting, he was getting met by the opposing defenders before he even made positive yardage. Before he even made, like, proper negative yardage, I guess.
00:21:38
Roger Emeka
I think basically he had 44 yards after contact and he had 38 yards total.
00:21:42
Fab
Yeah. Correct.
00:21:44
Nacc
And he had this, she had 38 total. It's true.
00:21:45
Fab
Correct.
00:21:45
Nacc
I remember hearing, i remember hearing this as well.
00:21:46
Fab
Yeah. Yeah, so that doesn't scream to me, oh, he's not a good player. That screams to me, this guy is not getting any help from the O-line.
00:21:52
Roger Emeka
no
00:21:53
Fab
And versus an LA Chargers team that, by all accounts, is going to get after the quarterback. They did that last week, and they have pretty decent defense. So um i wouldn't be super I wouldn't be super excited about starting Ashton Gentry. You probably have to because, like everybody else, you drafted him very high.
00:22:09
Fab
I would just be very skeptical about him this week. Like, if he... if he Brings you back RB2 numbers. Don't be surprised. I think that's more realistic. um Also, want to preface that the Chargers held Pacheco and Hunt to a combined 9.4 fantasy points last week.
00:22:26
Fab
I know Pacheco and Hunt not the same caliber of player as Ashton Gentry. Absolutely. But, so something to keep in mind. um If you happen to have a plethora of running backs to your disposal and you're able to bench Gentry, go for it. But...
00:22:41
Nacc
Yeah, and i don't think I don't think there's a much benching of Gentry going to be going on this week, but but beware.
00:22:42
Roger Emeka
like I understood the plethora.
00:22:46
Fab
But my next guy, you can probably bench, that's for sure.
00:22:47
Roger Emeka
The problem is we we don't actually know if Gentile is the caliber of Pacheco. And this is my issue with drafting rookies super early and in running back.
00:22:53
Fab
That's that's true. it's only It's only one game.
00:22:55
Roger Emeka
like Because you have to you have no choice.
00:22:55
Fab
Yeah.
00:22:58
Roger Emeka
Gentile is ranked as a starter because everyone and you know their their friends just assumed, hey, this guy quote-unquote generational.
00:23:05
Fab
Yeah.
00:23:07
Roger Emeka
We have to draft him in the first or second round.
00:23:08
Fab
Yeah.
00:23:11
Roger Emeka
Let's wait and see.
00:23:11
Nacc
Clyde Edwards-Hilaire. That turned me off from ever drafting a running back with my first round pick or second round pick rookie running back just because the odds are he's just not going to live up to that draft pick. And...
00:23:26
Nacc
and
00:23:26
Fab
Yeah, but then you you know something? See, he hate I don't like using him as an example because that was more of a Mahomes pick, right? and And if you want to... Every single pick that apparently were Mahomes' picks are not i even on the team anymore.
00:23:41
Roger Emeka
That was really a Mahomes pick?
00:23:41
Fab
like Like, apparently, yeah, Mahomes really wanted him from a running back. Same thing with Sky Moore. And where are all those guys now?
00:23:47
Nacc
Yeah, but he was drafted thirty seconds like did Why is he being drafted?
00:23:50
Fab
Yeah.
00:23:53
Nacc
Why was he being drafted? He was going fifth overall in pools that year.
00:23:55
Roger Emeka
It's crazy.
00:23:56
Nacc
Fifth overall.
00:23:56
Roger Emeka
It's crazy.
00:23:56
Fab
Yeah, he was going fifth overall for the offense he was playing with.
00:23:57
Nacc
all
00:23:57
Roger Emeka
and
00:23:58
Nacc
Five and six is where he was being drafted. like That's insanity.
00:24:00
Roger Emeka
And he's not he's not Adrian Peterson.
00:24:00
Fab
Yeah. Yeah.
00:24:03
Roger Emeka
I'm sorry.
00:24:03
Fab
No, he's not.
00:24:03
Nacc
No.
00:24:04
Fab
No, but then you look at guys like Zeke.
00:24:04
Roger Emeka
He's not Adrian Peterson.
00:24:07
Fab
You look at even guys like Leonard Fournette. Guys that went super high.
00:24:10
Roger Emeka
<unk>
00:24:11
Fab
And in their rookie years, they did very well. So it's... Even Bijan to a degree. even Like, it wasn't completely his...
00:24:18
Roger Emeka
That was Arthur Smith, yeah.
00:24:20
Fab
Yeah, it wasn't completely his fault.
00:24:21
Nacc
Hey, hey,
00:24:21
Fab
He had started a very good season considering his usage.
00:24:27
Roger Emeka
My hands are dry.
00:24:27
Nacc
hey. Relax on the Arthur Smith.
00:24:28
Fab
but my
00:24:28
Roger Emeka
but use I'll use see l'll use the other.
00:24:29
Fab
I really hope everyone's watching us on YouTube right now.
00:24:34
Roger Emeka
That's the audible call, right?
00:24:34
Nacc
ah
00:24:35
Fab
Yeah, that's you.
00:24:35
Nacc
Yeah. Fab, who's another running back you don't like this week?
00:24:40
Fab
Tony Pollard or Tony Pollard.
00:24:42
Nacc
Pollard.
00:24:42
Roger Emeka
He's back.
00:24:43
Fab
depending on depending on what side of the fence you're standing on. So Tony Pollard versus the Rams. So he finished as RB34 last week versus Denver. He was a full-blown bell cow, but I think he was more cow than anything else.
00:24:58
Fab
um
00:24:59
Nacc
Thank you.
00:25:00
Fab
rams were all over Rams were all over the Houston O-line, and Chubb wasn't able to get anything any juice last week, but, you know. Considering Nick Chubb, i don't want to hold anything against them. So i quarterdovis I expect similar challenges for Cam Ward and company week two.
00:25:15
Fab
um I don't think Tony Pollard has a very good game. And I actually have him on some of my teams, and he's riding my bench this week because I'm not expecting all that much. The Rams defense is very good. We spoke about it earlier. I think, Big Rod, you brought it up. Turing your love hates.
00:25:30
Fab
um Yeah, I don't have a lot of faith in Tony Pollard this week. Straight up bench.
00:25:37
Nacc
fair. And he's not a he's not that set it and forget it type back either, right?
00:25:42
Fab
He's flirting with, right now he's RB20 in rankings, in the PPR.
00:25:45
Nacc
but
00:25:47
Fab
I can see his PPR boosting him into that range, but I also said that last week and didn't happen.
00:25:53
Nacc
He's a flex play at best, I guess, then.
00:25:55
Fab
He's a flex play at best, and I think that's going to be a year-long thing. He's going to be a flex play, even with Spears out.
00:26:02
Nacc
Right.
00:26:02
Fab
Honestly, I feel like when Spears comes back in, he might even his value might even get boosted. I know it's kind of weird to say, but. I feel like that that and then running back room operates better when they're both playing at the same time.
00:26:12
Nacc
I think he operates better in a committee when he doesn't have the full workload.
00:26:15
Fab
Also, that as well. I agree. Fully agree.
00:26:18
Roger Emeka
He's barely 200 pounds, too.
00:26:18
Fab
Fully agree.
00:26:20
Roger Emeka
I regret drafting him in like a league so badly because this is the exact issue I'm having with Pallard. Just that team is... as They have Cam Ward, sure, but...
00:26:32
Roger Emeka
And i was a i was i was somewhat bullish on them.
00:26:32
Nacc
It's not sexy, man. It's not sexy.
00:26:34
Roger Emeka
And look, it's still early, but i don't know, man. Brian Callahan, he doesn't look like he knows what he's doing. the The coaching there is very concerning for me as someone who is a big fan of Cam Ward's talents.
00:26:48
Fab
i I fully agree, and that's why he's on my my hate with my hate list this week. um Do I have time for honorable mentions? Can I make up ground for last week?
00:26:56
Nacc
Quickly.
00:26:57
Fab
Yeah, i got I got two for each, the love and the hates. I'm just going to shoot out names here where like their matchups and the ones I don't. ah So honorable mention for my loves, your boy Roger, the future and past league winner, Mr. J.K. Dobbins.
00:27:12
Fab
He played very well last week. And this week he's against the he's playing at Indy. I like the matchup. I like the usage. i like the burst. I feel like he's been another year removed from all those ACLs and CLs and whatever else else injuries.
00:27:26
Nacc
Two.
00:27:27
Fab
So I think he's fully, fully healthy. And Javante Williams versus the Giants. ah I know they have their rush D is not great. And Dexter Lawrence seems to still be not fully healthy.
00:27:41
Fab
So um I wouldn't be surprised if he gets in the end zone another two times this week.
00:27:47
Nacc
two
00:27:48
Fab
Listen, i happened it happened last week and one's expecting it, so why not?
00:27:50
Roger Emeka
Touchdown dependent play, feel.
00:27:52
Nacc
yeah
00:27:52
Fab
100%, but hey, he's probably going to get you more points than Ashton Gentry.
00:27:52
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:27:56
Fab
Honorable mention for my hates, Jonathan Taylor versus Denver for reasons known because it's Denver. I'm just not a fan. I know you're probably starting him, so just, know, little trepidations, proceed with caution.
00:28:08
Fab
And Isaiah Pacheco versus Philly. and Unfortunately, i think we're starting to see the downfall of Isaiah Pacheco.
00:28:13
Nacc
think Pacheco was a waiver wire type player.
00:28:15
Fab
I think Pacheco is a waiver wire as well. I saw a stat about his last nine games PPR points. I'm like, it is not nice, man. like There are no double digits in there.
00:28:26
Fab
It's all 9, 8, 7.4, really weak numbers.
00:28:26
Nacc
No, he's, he's, he's, he's posse.
00:28:29
Fab
Yeah, it sucks. for like really really weak numbers and yeah
00:28:35
Nacc
Beauty. Thanks, Fab. That'll do it for our running backs this week. I will now dive into our wide receivers or my wide receivers, should I say, that I love and hate.
00:28:47
Roger Emeka
Thank you.

Wide Receiver Matchups and Advice

00:28:49
Nacc
So first one, I have Stefan Diggs at the Miami Dolphins. We are currently seeing a little trend here. um Look, they look lost on defense, Miami. um They look like they don't have any corners that can actually play in the NFL.
00:29:05
Nacc
And i think McDaniel has completely lost this locker room and perfect time to take advantage of starting Stefan Diggs. Pittman, who's currently the WR1 with the Colts, scored 20 fantasy points in week one.
00:29:18
Fab
Yeah.
00:29:19
Nacc
And the Dolphins are pretty much becoming that team where I think we mentioned earlier that a lot of players are going to be must starts with them. And I also see a bounce back game coming from ah Drake May.
00:29:33
Nacc
Didn't look all that great in in in week one. So think he's he's in a good spot as a ah get right game. And I think the benefactor of that will be Diggs. will be
00:29:44
Roger Emeka
Yeah, Diggs is going to have a solid floor.
00:29:46
Fab
yeah
00:29:47
Roger Emeka
Like even just the 12 points that he had, like wasn't a great game by by the Patriots offense, but still for him just get you 12 points coming out of like a mid mid-season ACL, I think he's going to get better and better as long as he doesn't get another injury.
00:29:58
Fab
Thank
00:30:01
Nacc
Yeah. second Second love this week is going to be Hollywood Brown versus the Eagles. He was definitely a name to look out for on the waiver wire. I think he was claimed in, I saw it earlier, 44% of leagues.
00:30:20
Nacc
He was the top claimee in 44% of leagues. And then with x Xavier Worthy out after three snaps ah this year, I think Hollywood Brown is going to be the main benefactor of that.
00:30:32
Nacc
And he's doubtful for Sunday and could miss but miss a few games, actually. So I think Brown has ah has a huge day. And Philly's secondary looked a little suspect ah besides their stud they have on the outside.
00:30:48
Nacc
who I always forget his name.
00:30:50
Fab
Yeah, Quinion Mitchell.
00:30:51
Nacc
Quinion Mitchell.
00:30:51
Roger Emeka
kon
00:30:52
Fab
Yeah, but...
00:30:52
Nacc
Besides him, it looked really, really shaky at best in the in the opener. Yeah.
00:30:57
Fab
Yeah, i was I was actually going to say that exact point. Like, they're they're secondary. Apart from Mitchell and Cooper Dejean is getting up there in age, eh? there was it Dory Jackson, I think, who's playing corner for them now?
00:31:12
Nacc
It was Adorey Jackson.
00:31:13
Fab
Yeah.
00:31:14
Nacc
he got He got beat a few times. Dejean plays in the slot, so they don't really have that guy outside.
00:31:17
Fab
Yeah.
00:31:21
Nacc
They got rid of Slay, although Slay did look a little slow on and Sunday.
00:31:22
Fab
Yes.
00:31:24
Roger Emeka
Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, too, is with the Texans.
00:31:25
Nacc
They also got exactly...
00:31:26
Fab
Yes.
00:31:28
Nacc
ah exactly
00:31:29
Fab
Yeah, their their secondary got depleted. Their safeties are so good, but...
00:31:32
Roger Emeka
Are we ah we really trusting in the year of our Lord 2025, Marquise Hollywood Brown?
00:31:40
Nacc
When he's the only one to throw to, yes, I will definitely trust. And like I said, look at what look at what the number one wide receiver on Dallas did last week. you know Like I said, and this game figures to be high scoring again.
00:31:52
Nacc
We've seen it before. These two juggernauts play and they put up 30 plus points each. So, hey, he had what, 10 catches for 100 yards? Sign me up.
00:32:02
Fab
Roger, you have no say in critiquing Knack after you had Kyle Pitts as a hate last week, as far as I'm concerned. concerned
00:32:10
Roger Emeka
Why are we on Kyle Pitts Island now these days?
00:32:10
Fab
All right?
00:32:13
Fab
All right? i Actually, Knack, I love this call.
00:32:14
Roger Emeka
you kidding me?
00:32:16
Fab
I feel like I was a year too early on the Hollywood Brown love, um and I'm just very happy that he's finally getting a shot because people need to put some respect on his name. He's better than advertised.
00:32:27
Fab
He's a good wide receiver, and he has a very good quarterback throwing to him.
00:32:29
Nacc
They just don't have anyone else, really, right? Like, there's not really much there.
00:32:32
Fab
he He's a good wide receiver.
00:32:34
Roger Emeka
So that's fair.
00:32:34
Nacc
Juju Smith-Schuster...
00:32:35
Roger Emeka
That's fair. When, when Rishi, if, if I'll eat my words, when Rishi Rice is back, he's still playing this way. He's not dropping like wide open balls that he's been literally doing his entire career.
00:32:46
Roger Emeka
I will eat my words, but just miss me on, ah miss me a little bit on Hollywood Brown being a potentially consistent player. That's all just from what I've seen.
00:32:57
Nacc
that's That's fine. And you're mentioning Rishi Rice. like yeah ah Maybe I would have Rishi Rice's name here rather than Hollywood Brown if Rishi Rice was there.
00:33:01
Fab
Yeah, exactly.
00:33:05
Nacc
But there's no worthy or Rice on the field. And just judging by what the Eagles secondary looked like, I just loved this play this week. Mahomes the Chiefs are 0-1 as well.
00:33:16
Nacc
Do you want to 0-2?
00:33:17
Roger Emeka
Must win for sure.
00:33:18
Nacc
there's There's motivation here, and I just think it's a great spot if you're if you're starting Hollywood Browns.
00:33:19
Fab
Big must win.
00:33:24
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:33:26
Nacc
I'll move along to my hates this week. First hate is going to be a Roger Boy, Cortland Sutton at the Colts. So the Colts in week one held Miami's receiving core in check all afternoon.
00:33:37
Roger Emeka
yeah
00:33:41
Nacc
So Tyreek was four for 40. Waddle was three for 30. And couple of that with Bo Nix having a very poor showing in his sophomore season through two INTs versus a tough Tennessee D.
00:33:56
Nacc
And things don't really get easier with the c Colts revamped secondary. they They really revamped it and they kind of showed it that they balled out against Miami. Look, Miami played terrible, but um I don't know. Not sure Sutton gets to that 18 points he finished with in in week one.
00:34:14
Nacc
think could be a rough afternoon.
00:34:17
Roger Emeka
Knicks did not look good.
00:34:20
Nacc
No.
00:34:20
Roger Emeka
i know it's one week, and yes, we don't want to panic. ah But like his underlying metrics I did not like because it was very yak-reliant last year, ah yards after catch-reliant.
00:34:33
Roger Emeka
And he dominated and feasted on some really, really bad defenses.
00:34:33
Fab
Mm-hmm.
00:34:37
Roger Emeka
So I want to see it again against better competition this year. So i like I like that one.
00:34:45
Nacc
And then my last one here, um I always have a spicy one on the menu. I don't know if you if you guys remember from last year. There's always one of those spicy ones that everyone's and everyone doesn't really agree with. But I've got Malik Neighbors at the Cowboys.
00:35:01
Nacc
So he finished with only five receptions on 12 targets for 71 yards in in week one. so
00:35:09
Roger Emeka
Did the spice go to your head, bud?
00:35:15
Nacc
I'm a little congested, so maybe it's playing with with my mind here. But I think it's look it's i think it's more indicative of of Russell Wilson being atrocious. um That did not help. um but And there's no indication that Day Bowl is making any QB change anytime soon, at least not for week two.
00:35:32
Nacc
And the Cowboys held Philly a top three receiving core of A.J.
00:35:32
Fab
Yeah.
00:35:35
Nacc
Brown, Devonta Smith, and Jahan Dotson to seven catches for 86 yards. so And most of Dawson's yards came on one catch, and A.J. Brown's came on, what, the final drive or the final final play of the game? So I think until the Giants turn to Dart or Jameis Winston, um and don't know if he's going to be putting up those 20 points and 25-point weeks anytime soon.
00:36:00
Nacc
anytime soon
00:36:03
Roger Emeka
The thing with this is that I don't necessarily disagree with the thinking, but he had 12 targets last week. five receptions on 12 targets. He might get 18 next week because Russell Wilson literally doesn't know how to scan the field. He literally just throws it to the check down or the number one receiver.
00:36:24
Roger Emeka
So Malik Nabors might be the most, the least efficient player this year at wide receiver, but it's very likely that he still as backwards gets to like 13, 15 points. Yeah.
00:36:38
Nacc
Yeah, but he's projected to get 18 to 20 points, right?
00:36:40
Roger Emeka
yeah
00:36:41
Fab
yeah
00:36:41
Nacc
He's an 18 point, 20 point. Like you drafted him to be getting 20 point weeks consistently. And a 41% catch rate isn't going to get you there. um He could have 18 targets, but you don't get any points for targets,
00:36:53
Roger Emeka
Good quick math.
00:36:57
Nacc
what you just say?
00:36:57
Fab
He has it up on the screen.
00:36:58
Nacc
Oh.
00:37:00
Nacc
um why what did you just say
00:37:03
Roger Emeka
i said I complimented you on the good quick math. You got the 41% of it away and Fab's like, he has it on the street.
00:37:05
Nacc
oh
00:37:09
Nacc
Oh, I don't have it on the screen, but I did it i did it i did it on my phone.
00:37:10
Roger Emeka
Whoa.
00:37:11
Fab
Whoa.
00:37:14
Nacc
Yeah, i wasn't I'm not that quick, that's for that's for sure, but I knew it was considerably low. I just don't like it. I don't like the play. I really don't like, um I'm not sure why they signed Russell Wilson.
00:37:25
Nacc
I think I'm as confused as probably you guys are.
00:37:26
Roger Emeka
I said it. Exactly.
00:37:28
Nacc
um And then like getting Jameis there and then drafting Dart, it was just like, It just seemed really, really, really strange, especially after the collapse that he had last year, thinking that this guy, because you you signed him and you called you you told me was a starter right away.
00:37:45
Roger Emeka
exactly
00:37:45
Nacc
So to see what happened last year, to bring him in, to think that he was going to lead you to the promised land or at least the playoffs, I think it was just a weird, weird situation.
00:37:56
Fab
I don't think the Giants brass ever had any logical or realistic expectation that Russell Wilson was going to lead them to the promised land. Let's not forget now that Russell Wilson was not the first, not the first, not the second, not the third.
00:38:07
Nacc
then what's the point?
00:38:08
Roger Emeka
I disagree, yeah.
00:38:11
Fab
He was the fourth option because they wanted to trade for Matt Stafford when that was a realistic scenario at one point, but that was just hubris or Sean McVay doing whatever he was doing or Stafford doing everything.
00:38:22
Fab
It's fine, but it doesn't matter. They wanted to sign Aaron Rodgers. And they wanted to trade up for Cam Ward. And they signed Jameis Winston before they signed Russell Wilson.
00:38:34
Fab
Right? Remember how excited we were about Jameis Winston? I think Russ is there because they needed a warm body.
00:38:38
Nacc
Exactly. So what was why would they sign Russell Wilson?
00:38:42
Fab
That's it and they didn't want it.
00:38:43
Roger Emeka
ah They need to make the playoffs.
00:38:44
Fab
And they didn't want to throw Dart in right away in the event that he was not going to be ready. I think honestly...
00:38:50
Nacc
They signed Wilson before they drafted Dart.
00:38:53
Fab
Yeah, they signed Wilson before. I don't have an issue with them signing Russell Wilson to ah like a $10 million or whatever it is because I know that he's getting four games max because he's just warming up the seat until Dart is ready to run the offense.
00:39:04
Nacc
So then why do it?
00:39:05
Roger Emeka
No plan. There's no plan. And they they have to make the playoffs.
00:39:07
Fab
That's exactly, guys, that is a plan.
00:39:08
Roger Emeka
they're there It's two guys who are on their last...
00:39:09
Fab
Whether you agree with it her or not, it's a plan.
00:39:10
Roger Emeka
They're theyre basically lame deck duck GMs and coaches. like They need to make the playoffs this year. So I have to disagree with that.
00:39:17
Fab
No, they don't need to make the playoffs this year.
00:39:17
Roger Emeka
day I think they they went... it No.
00:39:19
Fab
They need to show sign of life. That's how hot's how low the bar is. they They cannot expect, like, it is 100%.
00:39:25
Roger Emeka
Fair. That's sad. That's very sad.
00:39:29
Fab
I'm not disagreeing with you. that's just That's the unfortunately realistic reality of what is to be Giants fan right now. Where it's like, hey, if we push for a wild card spot, cool. Like, okay, we have some gusto. We can do something about it. Great.
00:39:45
Fab
it's It sucks, you know, but what are you going to do?
00:39:47
Nacc
Yeah, we could we could definitely talk about this in in great lengths.
00:39:48
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:39:48
Fab
What are you going to do?
00:39:51
Fab
Anyways, just ah Malik Neighbors had 27 targets last year when they played against Dallas.
00:39:52
Nacc
It'd be huge definitely a huge huge debate with... ah
00:40:01
Fab
Two games.
00:40:01
Nacc
Yeah, I don't i don't see 27 targets happening. Is he even going throw for 27 times, Russell Wilson?
00:40:07
Fab
That's actually a very good point.
00:40:08
Nacc
Anyways, we will we will proceed.
00:40:09
Fab
That's a very good point.
00:40:10
Nacc
That ah does it for our wide receivers we love and hate. And quickly, I'm going to turn to you, Raj, first. Who's a tight end if you love or hate this week?

Concerns About Tight End Roles

00:40:21
Roger Emeka
i don't I don't like Dalton Kincaid this week. I don't don't dislike the player. He's at the Jets. Consensus ranked tight end 18 week two.
00:40:32
Roger Emeka
Yes, versus Baltimore, he caught four of four targets, 48 yards. Had that beautiful touchdown catch ah from Josh Allen last Sunday, did that amazing game against Baltimore. But he somehow still played fewer snaps than Dawson Knox.
00:40:45
Roger Emeka
His 49 to Knox's 57. They played in some two tight end sets. But even rookie Jackson Hawes played 16 snaps, relegating Kincaid to the bench.
00:40:52
Fab
Yeah.
00:40:54
Roger Emeka
So he's competing against two other tight ends. It's a very committee-based wide receiver core with Kaleer Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Keon Coleman is coming ah along. And finally, in eight of 13 games he played last year, Kincaid had under five fantasy points in 2024.
00:41:06
Fab
yeah
00:41:12
Roger Emeka
Really like the talent. Always have liked the player. i don't think he's in a great situation and he's very inconsistent to trust on a week-to-week basis. I'd rather go with someone like Dallas Goddard who is probably more of a factor and and more relied upon by Jalen Hurts.
00:41:27
Nacc
Well, not this week because he's I think he's doubtful this week.
00:41:30
Fab
again.
00:41:30
Nacc
It was an injury hamstring or something. something Something's hampering him. I don't think he's playing this week, but yeah.
00:41:36
Roger Emeka
Oh, really? Oh, I didn't even... I knew he played last week. All right.
00:41:38
Fab
Yeah, let's go there. 100%.
00:41:39
Nacc
Yeah, Dallas Godare.
00:41:41
Roger Emeka
Brenton Strange.
00:41:41
Nacc
but that's like Honestly, I agree with you because it's it's kind of hard to trust anyone in in that offense week in, week out, like set it and forget it style player in in Buffalo's offense. So I definitely agree with you there. Fab, anyone that you love or hate this week?
00:41:57
Fab
Yeah, i but just I'm very excited about Keon Coleman. But yeah, I do agree with everyone's points. Brenton Strange.
00:42:05
Roger Emeka
That's what your reaction... I was like, let me try to find...
00:42:06
Fab
That's why i measure i was like this i was like this guy, man.
00:42:08
Roger Emeka
was just trying to find an honorable mention quickly.
00:42:10
Fab
that That's the guy that I like this week.
00:42:10
Roger Emeka
We're aligned.
00:42:12
Fab
Last week, he caught all four of his targets for 30s for some odd.
00:42:14
Nacc
Thank you.
00:42:17
Fab
but How many yards? Hold on a second. I have it front of me here. 59 yards. Solid 10 points in a PPR league for a tight end that, you know what, like I feel like last week was a little bit difficult for a tight ends.
00:42:29
Fab
They're playing Cincinnati this week. Last week, Cincinnati gave up a total of 10 receptions for 100 yards to Harold Hannon Jr., who? And David Njoku. I don't know. I think Strange is a very sneaky tight end streamer this week.
00:42:43
Nacc
I like Bretton Strange.
00:42:45
Fab
Yeah, like we spoke about him at length during the ah during the previews and and all that stuff.
00:42:47
Nacc
I'm a big fan.
00:42:49
Fab
And and I know, Nat, you had him on your love list last week, last year as well on a bunch of stuff.
00:42:50
Roger Emeka
Penn State.
00:42:51
Nacc
We are.
00:42:55
Fab
So, listen, for considering, you know, like Kittle is injured, Evan Ingram is injured, apparently Dallas Godair is injured, Mark Andrews is catching one pass for 10 yards or whatever it is.
00:43:05
Fab
Like you might want to be like, screw it, I'm putting in Brenton Strange in a very plus matchup. So, yeah.
00:43:12
Nacc
and like it.
00:43:13
Fab
Yeah.
00:43:14
Nacc
I like it. And yeah, I'll end with a little honorable mention. I like actually John Smith at home versus Seahawks. He did get his feet wet. He had six targets in week one, five receptions, only 15 yards, but did find the end zone.
00:43:29
Nacc
And Seattle was actually the only team in week one to surrender two TDs to the tight end position. So I like John us Smith in week two.
00:43:39
Fab
How do you love a Pittsburgh player with a straight face on this podcast?
00:43:42
Roger Emeka
thought you to say, how do you live with yourself? see
00:43:46
Nacc
i would have been funnier. That would have been funnier.
00:43:48
Roger Emeka
Why are you the way you are?
00:43:49
Fab
Why are you the way you are?
00:43:50
Nacc
Hey, he's a good play this week, guys. it can't You can't hate it.
00:43:51
Fab
He has a good play this week.
00:43:52
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:43:52
Fab
he has a good Actually, i try I put up some fab for him this week.
00:43:52
Nacc
You can't hate it.
00:43:55
Fab
i didn't get him, though.
00:43:55
Roger Emeka
As did I.
00:43:57
Nacc
beat you both for Jono Smith.
00:43:58
Fab
You beat me by a dollar. I put like four bucks. You put five or something. was like, son of a.
00:44:03
Nacc
I love Fab.
00:44:05
Fab
It's fun.
00:44:05
Nacc
FAAB, not FAB.
00:44:07
Fab
It's okay.
