Week 14 Quarterbacks: Love or Hate

00:03:13
Roger Emeka
14.
00:03:13
Fab
Opening drive.
00:03:14
Roger Emeka
Defensives to target, weeks 15 and 16. We're going to look ahead, even though the the fantasy playoffs haven't even started yet. So... If you don't have a buy and you're heading into your first run matchup next week, here's some easily available defenses to target now. So these are defenses that are either on by this week or have a bad week 14 matchups that GMs may avoid or even outright drop. So they are prime look ahead stach stashes. So,
00:03:38
Roger Emeka
There are three defenses that are good targets there, and they are teams that are actually on buy this week. So we're going to start with 49ers. They are about 32% owned. On buy, very likely drop candidate, but they get the Titans and rookie Cam Ward in week 15, who are second in fantasy points allowed to defenses.
00:03:56
Roger Emeka
Next, you have Carolina. Yes, the Carolina Panthers. They're on by this week. They're just 6% owned, but their defense looked very good against Matthew Stafford. They're definite drop candidate this week, but they get the Saints in week 15, who are fifth in fantasy points allowed to defenses. And then the last team that's on by this week that would be a good target to stash on defense is the Patriots. They just played the Giants. They're on by.
00:04:19
Roger Emeka
They are 65% owned, but I imagine that's going to be that's gonna be that's going to go down after this this week as they're on by Tough matchup with the Bills in week 15, but they finished the fantasy playoffs with the Jets in week 17.
00:04:32
Roger Emeka
And then some other defenses to keep an eye on. There's the Dallas Cowboys, who are 10% rostered. They'll probably stay rostered at that low over rate through week 14 as they match up against the Detroit Lions. But they get Max Brosmer or J.J. McCarthy in week 15, who allow the most fantasy points to defenses. And they've been much better since the Quinn and Williams trade.
00:04:52
Roger Emeka
Then we have the Jaguars, who are 59% owned. They could be a drop candidate after week 14 against the the Colts, for week 14 against the Colts. But then they get the Jets in week 15, who we mentioned previously. They allow the 10th most fantasy points to defenses.
00:05:05
Roger Emeka
Two more for you, the Buccaneers, their 30% roster. This might be the number one defense to target. They might be gone by the time that this episode is out. But they get the Saints in week 14, then Carolina. Then they get the Saints again. And then Miami on the last week of the fincy fantasy football finals.
00:05:22
Roger Emeka
And then finally, we talked about them last week, the Saints. They're 7% owned, likely a drop candidate this week. But Panthers week 15, Jets week 16, Titans week 17.
00:05:32
Roger Emeka
I used them in another league last week. They got me a very solid 10 points. So i think they could be a very good defense to have. That's your quick week 14 opening drive. Defenses to stash in week 15. This is it. Season's on the line. No margins, no patience. Winner go

Week 14 Running Back Matchups

00:05:48
Roger Emeka
home. This is the most important love-hate of the year. if you're fighting for a finals, a playoff spot, NAC, please take us home.
00:05:56
Fab
Yeah.
00:05:56
Nacc
Yes, sir. Thank you, Rog, once again for a lovely opening drive. This is the love-hate segment of the episode. But before we dive into our week 14 love-hate picks, let's rewind and review how our week 13 calls turned out.
00:06:12
Nacc
As everyone knows, accountability matters and it's easy. It's how we stay honest with our takes and keeping can keep improving. I think quick look back and show we what we got right, where we fell short, and how we adjust heading into another week of fantasy football chaos.
00:06:29
Nacc
So our week 13 record, we did turn it around, thank God. We went to eight and seven on the week. Overall record falls to 88-99-2, so we still got some work left to do in the final weeks.
00:06:45
Nacc
Fab, you went three and two last week with the wide receivers. You hit on Andre Josivas. You did miss on Troy Franklin and missed on your tight end. Love with Mike Kicicchi.
00:06:58
Nacc
But you did hit both of your hates in Debo Samuel and Michael Pittman.
00:07:03
Roger Emeka
If I could just say, i don't ever want to see a Bronco in love again. They are so unreliable.
00:07:10
Nacc
I think we've hit one Bronco. But we've and we've also missed on them when we put them in the hate in the hate column.
00:07:14
Fab
Have we?
00:07:16
Roger Emeka
very difficult.
00:07:16
Nacc
That's where they bite us, right? So let's just maybe we keep the Broncos off the list going forward.
00:07:20
Fab
I think you hit on Troy Franklin Roger early on in the year.
00:07:20
Roger Emeka
Very...
00:07:24
Nacc
Could be.
00:07:25
Fab
On the love.
00:07:25
Roger Emeka
Yeah, yeah.
00:07:26
Fab
I think so.
00:07:27
Roger Emeka
Very hard to to predict between Franklin and Sutton.
00:07:29
Fab
Yeah.
00:07:29
Nacc
Yeah. Raj, unfortunately you went one in four on the week, missing out of your loves of Jalen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell. You also missed out on your hate of Javante Williams and DeAndre Swift, but did hit on your hate on Tyler Warren.
00:07:47
Nacc
And to round it off, I went four and one on the week, missed out on my love of Cam Ward, but hit on Tyler sch Shuck and Brenton Strange, and also hit on my hates for Shudder Sanders and Daniel Jones.
00:07:47
Roger Emeka
Oh, wow.
00:08:02
Nacc
So let's let's try to build on on a like a nice little week up back in the in the positive column here. So without further ado, let's jump right into our week 14 love-hate picks.
00:08:13
Nacc
Thaab will like get things started with his quarterback breakdowns. I'll take you through the running backs and... Raj will wrap it up with the wide receiver takes.
00:08:24
Nacc
We'll also take a look at three tight ends that you need that to be paying attention to, whether it be training up or giving you reasons to hit pause this week. And before we do start off, teams on by. I know Raj mentioned a few earlier. We've got the Panthers, Patriots, Giants, and 49ers.
00:08:40
Nacc
So let's go, Fab. Let's get get things started with the quarterbacks

Week 14 Wide Receiver Matchups

00:08:44
Nacc
you're loving and ones you're fading in week 14.
00:08:47
Fab
Let's go. Let's go. So quarterbacks I'm loving so far in week 14. Jordan Love versus Chicago. Trevor Lawrence versus Indianapolis. So Jordan Love, fantasy pros ranked him as QB 12, but I think that's actually a bit too low.
00:09:01
Fab
Chicago are missing three of their top linebackers. Jordan Love ranks second in the NFL in EPA per attempt on throws over the middle of the field. So without their starting linebackers to clutter those throwing lanes, I think Love is going to have some fun picking them apart.
00:09:15
Fab
Chicago also ranks close to the bottom third in almost every major passing defensive category. He's ranked as a borderline QB1, but put some respect on this man's name.
00:09:27
Fab
Put him in over guys like Daniel Jones, Bo Nix, and Justin Herbert, who are at or around where he is being ranked right now. think Jordan Love is going to have a very nice game versus Chicago in Lambeau, might add?
00:09:39
Nacc
And just fun fact as of week 11 in his career after week 11 he has 34 touchdown passes and two interceptions in his career.
00:09:48
Roger Emeka
Great stat.
00:09:49
Fab
So he finishes strong is what you're saying.
00:09:49
Nacc
So great, great love yeah that definitely finishes strong throughout his career.
00:09:55
Fab
we've got some love for Jordan Love. Love for Jordan Love. We love we love a little bit of Jordan Love. We love giving some love to Jordan Love. Moving on to to Trevor Lawrence, little Joey Sunshine over here. So Fantasy Pros ranked him as QB 16, but he's actually QB 8 in the last four weeks, if you can believe it.
00:10:12
Fab
The addition of Jacoby Myers, i know, Roger, you touched on this a little bit when we were chatting in in in our group thread. The addition Jacoby Myers has really opened up that ah offense. I think he's began to look like a reliable piece for Lawrence as well, especially if you saw what he did in week 13.
00:10:26
Fab
On top of that, Jags got the Colts this week without Sauce Gardner, and the Colts are forced to play most likely a soft, protect the sticks, kind of cover three shell, where Trevor Lawrence ranks top five in the NFL against zone coverage over the last month.
00:10:39
Fab
The c Colts aren't a top-end matchup. You're not You're not licking your chops when you go up against them, but they do give up the six most fat ah sixth most passing yards, and they've gotten and got this year.
00:10:51
Fab
And Trevor Lawrence is playing at a pretty high level at the moment too. In the last two games, he

Week 14 Tight End Matchups

00:10:54
Fab
put up 23 plus fantasy points. I love him over guys like Sam Darnold, Caleb Williams, Tyler Shuck, who also has a good matchup, by the way, and the aforementioned Daniel Jones and Justin Herbert.
00:11:05
Fab
I also want to give a little quick second. I do have some honorable mentions. I think it's important this time of the year that we just don't you know focus on two quarterbacks.
00:11:11
Roger Emeka
yeah
00:11:13
Fab
I do love Jared Goff's matchup. You're starting him anyways. Tyrod Taylor and Marcus Marriotta have some very nice matchups too. So if you are in a pinch where guys are on by, I know in one of my leagues, it's a super flex league and both of my starting quarterbacks are on by and I kind of need this week to make the playoffs.
00:11:31
Fab
I have a waiver claim in for one of these players. I'm not going say who. But yeah, cause like I'm stuck, but you know, the matchups are good. The matchups are there. And so, yeah, those are also guys that you should be considering as well this week.
00:11:45
Nacc
Well done.
00:11:46
Fab
Thank you. Thank you. So though we're going to be two for two on that. and Now moving on to the the hates. So we're going to stick with the matchup at Green Bay versus Chicago. We've got Caleb Williams at Green Bay. So going into very hostile territory is never great. And historically, Chicago quarterbacks have never fared well in Lambeau.
00:12:03
Fab
In fact, over the last 10 years, the Bears are 2-8 in Lambeau. And no QB has had a QB rating of better than 100 that span. And on the fact that Green Bay are allowing less than 190 passing yards per game and 15 passing touchdowns, which is the fifth lowest in the NFL, this game is going to very tough for Caleb Williams. He's currently ranked as QB 17, and he's a borderline sit for me.
00:12:24
Fab
Guys behind him that I'd rather start are Tyler Schuch, Tara Taylor, like the aforementioned Marcus Mariota, even Aaron Rodgers, and I'd even consider

Final Advice for Playoffs

00:12:32
Fab
starting, yeah,
00:12:32
Nacc
Aaron Rodgers.
00:12:34
Fab
Yeah, it's a better matchup. I even consider starting CJ Stroud over cedar shaw with KC versus Caleb over or Green Bay.
00:12:41
Roger Emeka
Yeah, that's not even a stretch.
00:12:44
Nacc
Oh, Aaron Rodgers to me is a bit of a stretch.
00:12:48
Fab
i think this I think the floor with Aaron Rodgers a lot safer.
00:12:51
Nacc
Interesting.
00:12:52
Fab
Yeah. in My next hate is Tua Tagovailoa at New York Jets. So did you guys know that Tua is 0-6 in games where temperature dips to below 45 degrees Fahrenheit?
00:13:06
Nacc
I didn't know that under that.
00:13:06
Fab
Any he guesses on how cold it's going to be this weekend?
00:13:09
Roger Emeka
Under 40.
00:13:10
Fab
Under 45. Yeah, you guys. Bing, bing, bing. Under 45. Actually, around 35 to be exact. So even so, Jets, after trading Williams, Quinton Williams and Sauce Gardner, haven't missed that much of a beat on defense from a fantasy perspective. They've given up under 16.5 points in the last three games.
00:13:28
Fab
Fantasy points, that is. And they're a tougher matchup than people think. Plus, Tua hasn't been great in the past month, scoring over 20 points once in the last seven weeks and under seven points in the last two games.
00:13:40
Fab
So, he's QB22 right now on the edge of starter ball, but he's a straight bench for me this week. Guys around him that i prefer, like Rodgers, like I just mentioned, or Mason, depending on who plays. Shadira has safer floor, and even we even go Cousins, honestly, over Tua this weekend.
00:13:54
Nacc
Shadr has a safer floor.
00:13:55
Roger Emeka
my god
00:13:56
Fab
Yeah, the safer floor for Schilder is like, what, 12? Which is also a ceiling, but still.
00:14:02
Nacc
Like 10. him
00:14:03
Fab
The two in the last two games has not been that great. And it's, at those, those, the
00:14:09
Roger Emeka
two should barely be rostered in in even superflex to be honest yeah
00:14:12
Fab
Yeah, well, you need a warm body sometimes, right? And that's that's the thing. But the two in games where the temperature really goes like around the freezing level, which is 45 degrees Fahrenheit for all you Americans out there, um it's he's not good.
00:14:26
Fab
And, yeah, he's not good. And the Jets are, even without their they're they're two stud players, they traded away.
00:14:30
Roger Emeka
They've been frisky.
00:14:32
Fab
like they're still they're playing They're playing tough. You got to give them credit.
00:14:35
Roger Emeka
i thought I thought the team was going to give up on Aaron Glenn, and you see it even in the post-game kind of like huddles in the post-game speeches.
00:14:38
Fab
Yeah.
00:14:42
Roger Emeka
like It doesn't seem like they've given up yet. Similar to actually Mike McDaniel.
00:14:45
Nacc
No. Yeah.
00:14:46
Roger Emeka
I'm actually quite surprised that both those teams have looked much better than what they looked previously.
00:14:50
Fab
Yeah, very true. I do have some auto mentions for some hates as well. Again, I'm not suggesting you sit these guys, but I would temper expectations. So Jalen hurts versus the chargers. Uh, he's averaging their chargers defenses, giving up 11 and a half fancy points per game. in The last five on average to opposing quarterbacks, uh, Patrick Holmes versus Houston, similar about 13 and a half fancy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in the last four.
00:15:16
Nacc
Interesting. Interesting you picked those two as honorable mentions.
00:15:17
Fab
ah
00:15:19
Nacc
Very.
00:15:19
Fab
I'm not done. I got more. ah Also, Baker and Herbert have touchmats up too. Plus, Herbert, you don't know what's going to happen. He's day-to-day. I'm not even sure if he's going to start or not.
00:15:28
Roger Emeka
He's going to start.
00:15:28
Fab
like there
00:15:29
Roger Emeka
Apparently, he's going to try to play.
00:15:29
Fab
He's going to start? Yeah. Well, that's it. so if if just
00:15:32
Roger Emeka
But but that's that's a Monday nighter.
00:15:34
Fab
That is a Monday Nighter, so you're definitely going have to roster Trey Lance.
00:15:34
Nacc
Yeah.
00:15:38
Roger Emeka
Trey Lance, yeah.
00:15:39
Nacc
Or just not play them.
00:15:41
Fab
Yeah.
00:15:43
Roger Emeka
I hope Trey Lance plays because and ah harbu Harbaugh was really, really high on him during training camp.
00:15:45
Fab
I'd be down to watch that, honestly.
00:15:49
Roger Emeka
like I'm curious to see if just being in more of a... so Sorry, no, he was in a winning culture with with with in Santa Francisco, but maybe being somewhere where he might be more wanted or was able to just sit sit back and learn from Herbert and learn from Harbaugh.
00:16:03
Roger Emeka
I'd love to see him start and see maybe if that could amount to anything for him in the offseason.
00:16:07
Fab
He was in a winning culture with Dallas.
00:16:08
Nacc
right?
00:16:12
Roger Emeka
Yeah, that's right I completely forgot his Dallas stint.
00:16:12
Fab
What? What?
00:16:15
Fab
I think he forgot it too. It's fine.
00:16:16
Roger Emeka
I forgot.
00:16:19
Fab
So those are my quarterback love hates, ladies and gentlemen. Best of luck to you guys on the last week of the fantasy football season. I hope you all make the playoffs, except for Guido. Thank you.
00:16:30
Nacc
Thank you very much, Fab. Those were the quarterback love-hates heading into week 14. I will keep the ball rolling with the running backs. Running backs I have this week are Devin Neal, running back 29, and Jordan Mason, RB24, versus the Commanders.
00:16:46
Nacc
So start it off with Devin Neal. Neal was eased into the game in the first half, but received the majority of the workload come the second half. And many thought that Taysom Hill would you know take opportunities away from him, but he only saw one carry and one reception all game. So with Kamara likely sidelined for another game,
00:17:05
Nacc
Neil has the opportunity to show his skills, and over the last four games, the Buccaneers have allowed five TDs to running backs, and an average of just under 20 points per game. So for me, very high flex appeal for me in in Week 14.
00:17:21
Nacc
Then switching it up to Jordan Mason, running back 24 at the commanders. The commanders have been extremely generous to running backs over the last few weeks. Their offense without Jaden Daniels is not staying on the field enough and their defense gets worn out quick. So over the last three games, they've allowed five TDs to the running backs while also allowing two tandems to hit double digits in that span. um With Aaron Jones banged up, I love Mason as a low-end RB2 high-end flex options. And I like both these guys over the likes Manangai, Kareem Hunt, Woody Marks, and Kenneth Gainwell, who are all above them.
00:17:59
Roger Emeka
Man, Manunga, that's a tough one to sit.
00:18:03
Fab
It's it's a yeah he's minimal usage, but like maximum output.
00:18:03
Roger Emeka
Yeah, as good as he's been. Packers, yeah.
00:18:05
Nacc
Yeah. Yeah.
00:18:08
Fab
It's been very challenging.
00:18:10
Nacc
Yeah, last week I actually got to see it firsthand and they really ran the ball down their throats. I think they're just going to have a harder time with that this week against Green Bay.
00:18:19
Fab
Yeah, i agree. Remain a very good run defense.
00:18:24
Nacc
Those were my loves this week. My hates, ah number one hate is gonna be Woody Marks, running back 21 at the Chiefs. And the second is gonna be Travis Etienne, running back 17 versus the Colts.
00:18:37
Nacc
So I think it's safe to say that Marks has hit his rookie wall and I'm 100% out on him for the rest of the season. He's averaging 3.4 yards per carry in his last three games and has only been targeted in the past game three times for five yards over that span.
00:18:53
Nacc
The once potential league winner has cooled significantly and gets a tough KCD in week 14. Those of you with fantasy implications should be aware of this matchup. And he's definitely a bench for me in all formats in week 14. I like, as I mentioned, Jordan Mason, even Kamani Badal this week and Zach Charbonnet.
00:19:14
Nacc
Definitely like over Woody Marks. Running back 21 seems extremely high.
00:19:20
Fab
Yeah, very tough matchup. Kansas City give up only, I think, six rushing touchdowns all season.
00:19:25
Nacc
Yeah.
00:19:26
Roger Emeka
Yeah, Marks hasn't been very good. It's been a bit disappointing since the, yeah, I think there was a few games early on, but hasn't looked good lately.
00:19:28
Fab
No.
00:19:29
Nacc
Very disappointing.
00:19:33
Nacc
Yeah. And then, as I mentioned, Travis Etienne, another player who who was rolling in the short term and then put up a dud versus the Titans of all of all teams. He'd become very TD dependent, actually. In games where he does not score TD, he averages 11 points per game. And when he scores, he averages 17 points per game.
00:19:53
Nacc
So he definitely gets a tougher matchup in week 14 versus the Colts who give up the 12th fewest points to running backs on the season. Again, in your seat with your season on the line, I'm not sure I'm trusting Etienne, although he'd be really, really tough to bench, especially if you're looking to or looking and need to win a matchup. But I do like Kenneth Walker, even Jalen Warren to bounce back. And again, Jordan Mason over Etienne.
00:20:19
Fab
I definitely like the Mason over it's end call. That to me is a no-brainer. I think if... Has it been confirmed that Aaron Droz is out for this week?
00:20:27
Nacc
He has like a bad shoulder.
00:20:29
Fab
Yeah.
00:20:29
Nacc
Didn't come back after injury in the third quarter. So that wasn't a good sign.
00:20:32
Fab
Yeah, it's it's it's a pretty good sign.
00:20:33
Nacc
They say day to day, but likely, likely on the, we'll see what happens. But I think even if he does play, I think Mason has a, has a big game.
00:20:43
Fab
Yeah, I agree with that.
00:20:47
Nacc
That'll do it for the running backs. Raj, take us home with the wide receivers. You love and hate this week.
00:20:53
Roger Emeka
Yes, thank you, sir. So the wide receivers I love this week, Jaden Higgins, wide receiver 35 at KC, and Jacoby Myers, wide receiver 23 versus the Colts.
00:21:04
Fab
Thank you.
00:21:04
Roger Emeka
So with regards to Jaden Higgins, they he faces KC, who've allowed the fifth most fantasy points to wide receivers in the last two weeks. Higgins is firmly in the wide receiver three flex territory, averaging a solid floor of 12.5 PPR points per game in the last four. Week 14 saw another solid performance from the rookie, five catches, 65 yards, second in route percentage, and he's actually first in third and fourth down targets ahead of Nico Collins. So six weeks, seven, he's second on the pecking order ahead of Christian Kirk, x Xavier Hutchinson, and Jalen Noel.
00:21:36
Roger Emeka
So it's Stroud finally looking ah back and looking good. I love Higgins over the likes of Romeo Dobbs, Dontavian Wicks. Like truly, guys, are you really going to hedge your bets on Romeo Dobbs and Dontavian Wicks?
00:21:49
Fab
Yeah. I agree.
00:21:49
Roger Emeka
in do or die situations. And there's DJ Moore and Trey Tucker as well that I like. I like Higgins more so as well. So I think he'll be a very solid flex and floor play. And then ah the other wide receiver I love, as mentioned, Jacoby Myers, wide receiver 23. This is a smash love and start pick versus the Colts, who've allowed the six most fantasy points wide receivers over the last two weeks, despite not even allowing a touchdown in that span.
00:22:13
Roger Emeka
So this is a great PPR situation for Jacoby Myers. He's firmly for my for me in the WR2 territory. He must be kept in your line lineups due to his growing chemistry with Trevor Lowentz.
00:22:24
Roger Emeka
since Since the trade, he leads the Jaguars in total targets and in third and fourth down targets as well. And one telling stat I dug up showing his chemistry with Lawrence, his catchable target percentage is at 86% with Jacksonville. If you compare that to Brian Thomas, it's 73.
00:22:39
Roger Emeka
seventy three So that kind of really shows you the type of targets that... ah Lawrence is able to throw to Myers versus the stuff downfield that doesn't really work well with Lawrence and BTJ. So again, great PPR spot for Myers. Plus with South Gardner out, get him in and over the likes of Roma Dunze, Marvin Harrison Jr. and even DK Metcalf as well.
00:23:02
Roger Emeka
And um for myself, some honorable mentions too. Again, last week of the regular season for fantasy, Christian Watson against the Bears. So if there's a Packers wide receiver, I would trust it's Watson.
00:23:13
Roger Emeka
Target shares of 33, 36% over his last two games. He's at averaging PPR points per game. Emeko Ibuka, I know it hasn't looked good lately, but still 30% target share over the last three weeks. The usage is solid and he gets a really, really easy schedule starting in week 14.
00:23:29
Roger Emeka
Alec Pierce, just put him in your lineups. He's been fantastic. 15 points, three of the last four games. And AD Mitchell, I think he is bit boomer bust, but if you really need high variance, he looked like a baller against Miami. um Sorry, not Miami, it's the Falcons. Eight for 100 plus yards and a touchdown.
00:23:49
Nacc
He held onto the ball.
00:23:51
Roger Emeka
I'll tell you the ball. Yeah, for once. um And in terms of my hates, so my hates for this week are Zay Flowers with WR14. don't understand the rate rankings for Zay Flowers.
00:23:59
Fab
That makes no sense to me.
00:24:00
Nacc
it's It's actually incredible with what theyre with people are ranking Zay Flowers.
00:24:05
Roger Emeka
it's like they keep It's like they forget him.
00:24:05
Nacc
doesn't make sense.
00:24:06
Roger Emeka
It's like they they forget he's just plug and play. But hate Zay Flowers, WR14 against the Steelers, and Roma Dunze, WR27 at Green Bay. we're going start with Zay Flowers. It's pretty simple.
00:24:16
Roger Emeka
He hasn't scored a touchdown since week one and is averaging 10 PPR points per game since then. Baltimore actually dead last in pass attempts this season, and Flowers just came off a game where he had seven targets, two catches, and six yards.
00:24:29
Roger Emeka
This is really interesting. He's the WR29 on the season, but is 14th in the NFL in yards and 11th in catches. So he's without the touchdowns, which he hasn't gotten since week one, and he's never been a touchdown threat.
00:24:39
Nacc
Thank you.
00:24:45
Roger Emeka
He's very hard to trust. So I am fading him for the likes of Terry McLaurin. Justin Jefferson somehow's consensus w r seventeen There's no way i'm starting I'm sitting Justin Jefferson for, say, Flowers.
00:24:58
Roger Emeka
And then I still trust Michael Pittman and, of course, Jacoby Myers over him. And then as mentioned, Roma Dunze, another wide receiver I hate, WR27 at Green Bay, who allowed the six fewest pan fantasy points to wide receivers over the past four weeks.
00:25:05
Fab
Mm-hmm.
00:25:12
Roger Emeka
Dunze went from a must start to flex bench territory, inconsistency, accuracy issues from Caleb Williams, and drops from Dunze. And the Bears basically turning into a running juggernaut have relegated him to an only only an 83% route participation and 9.5 PPR points per game over the last four games.
00:25:32
Roger Emeka
He's too inconsistent to trust currently with cal Caleb having more chemistry with his tight ends and his running backs, especially with Micah Parsons coming into town. As mentioned, i like Alex Pierce, ranked around the same spot over Odunze.
00:25:46
Roger Emeka
I like Chris Godwin as well, looking much better after last week. Even Isaac Tesla, if Amon Ross St. Brown doesn't play as well.
00:25:55
Nacc
Tesla. ahla
00:25:56
Roger Emeka
Tesla.
00:25:56
Fab
That's a great call, actually. think that's to be a very nice call this week.
00:25:59
Roger Emeka
Yeah. Again, if Amun Ra doesn't play, which I think we'll we'll know more of tomorrow. And tomorrow, by then, will be Wednesday.
00:26:04
Fab
Yeah.
00:26:07
Roger Emeka
Honorable mention, wide receivers to fade. Just the Troy Franklin, Cortland Sutton. I know it's against the Raiders, but they didn't do anything last time against the Raiders. And it is really hard to trust either one. If if one goes off, the other one has a dud game and vice versa.
00:26:23
Roger Emeka
um Brian Thomas Jr. as well. Obviously, the reasons are very clear. Lawrence clearly has a preference for power slots and tight ends instead of deep X receivers. And the switch towards that has been on has been better for for Lawrence. So those are some honorable mentions as well that I would i would fade.
00:26:42
Nacc
Fantastic.
00:26:43
Fab
Love it.
00:26:43
Nacc
Fantastic. Yeah. Those were wide receivers. Raj, why don't you keep it going with a tight end you love or hate this week?
00:26:51
Roger Emeka
Yeah, I'm going to sit blue-eyes Arande Gatson, the second, tight end eight versus the Eagles, who allow the second fewest yards to tight ends this season, and entering week 13, allow the third fewest points overall to tight ends as well.
00:27:06
Roger Emeka
Last week, he had his lowest route participation in weeks, with just 68% routes run. He's actually been asked to block more with the Chargers offensive line issues, with Justin Herbert potentially out,
00:27:17
Roger Emeka
I see Gadsden seems like ah a fade-worthy candidate ranked in the top 10, top eight, is excuse me. I would prefer a guy like Juwan Johnson over over him this week, personally.
00:27:27
Nacc
Your boy.
00:27:28
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:27:30
Nacc
Thank you, Raj. What about you, Fab? Love or hate on the tight end position this week?
00:27:34
Fab
I got a love for Mason Taylor. So, Joy Taylor, hope you're listening. ah So, the lowest... So Mason Taylor is playing Miami. I forgot to mention that. Sorry. The lowest at tight end has scored this year versus Miami is 6.7 points. The lowest.
00:27:50
Fab
Like that's your floor. Like you put him in the lineup. He's a warm body. He's getting at least six and a half points. Taylor is ranked as tight end 19 right now, which is bananas. If you're desperate for a streaming tight end, he's probably on waivers.
00:28:02
Fab
He's a good bet to get you 10 plus fancy points. and even probably just fall into the end zone. I think he has a very good matchup. And he also has a very good matchup, obviously this week, and also a really nice matchup schedule into the playoffs too. It's something to keep an eye on as well. You can pick him up this week, and then can probably start him into your quarterfinals and semifinals, and maybe your finals if you make it that far.
00:28:25
Nacc
Maybe, maybe one to watch. I will end us off with a love as well. I've got Isaiah Likely, 10 and 20 versus the Steelers. So he saw his highest target share actually in in week 13. Had six targets, five receptions for 95 yards. And if it was not for that goal line fumble, he would have finished with 20 PPR fantasy points. And he does get a Steelers team that has given up an average of 15 points per game to the tight ends over the past five weeks.
00:28:53
Nacc
And Likely usually has a knack for showing up in big games. And both teachs both teams excuse me need to stay alive in the playoffs. So I'm definitely rolling with Isaiah Likely. And i'd like them I e like him over Evan Ingram, Dalton Schultz, and I do like him over Mason Taylor.
00:29:11
Roger Emeka
What do you guys think of Darren Waller this week? There's been a lot of talk. I've seen a lot of talk about Darren Waller being back against the Jets.
00:29:17
Fab
I mean, he's he does the one thing that they need him to do, which is catch the ball in the red zone. so I think it's ahs ah it's it's a dart throw.
00:29:23
Nacc
He could,
00:29:24
Fab
You don't know what's going to happen, but if you're desperate, you could do worse.
00:29:28
Nacc
that cold scares me, man. It
00:29:30
Fab
yeah the Yeah, the cold is legit. But then again, if they get in close, Tua doesn't need to throw that far.
00:29:38
Nacc
could be a sneaky trick.
00:29:38
Fab
What am I saying? I have Tua as a hate. No, no, no. Darren Waller's going to have a good week this week. No, no, no, no, no. Darren Waller's a sit. Leave him on the waivers.
00:29:47
Nacc
That will do it, ladies and gentlemen, for another edition of the Bush League Huddle Fantasy Football Podcast. From me and my co-host, good luck this week for those needing that extra win to get into the playoffs.
00:30:01
Nacc
We will see you next week with the Fantasy Playoff Show. Raj, the music.
00:30:10
Nacc
Oh, I also forgot to mention, Lucas, you might want to set your lineup this week. It looks seems a bit empty.
00:30:15
Fab
You can't speak into the mic, Nak.
00:30:16
Roger Emeka
Can't hear you.
00:30:18
Nacc
ah
00:30:19
Fab
Lucas, I think he's saying something about Lucas structure players. Your whole team is on.
00:30:23
Nacc
Yeah, you might want to start your players because your lineup seems a bit empty there. so you might want to put your players in there.
00:30:30
Fab
Lucas is playing mind games. It's not like anybody else plays mind games.
00:30:34
Roger Emeka
ah
00:30:34
Fab
I see you, Guido. I see you.
00:30:37
Roger Emeka
Goodbye, everyone.
00:30:38
Fab
Take care, everyone. have one Have fun. Good luck.
00:30:39
Nacc
Goodbye.
00:30:40
Fab
Peace.
00:30:40
Roger Emeka
Good luck. Good luck.
