00:00:36
Fab

00:00:48
Roger Emeka
sound like Stephen a Smith.
00:00:49

00:00:51
Nacc

Giants Hoodie Story

00:00:54
Fab
it's It was a fantastic game. Quickly, before we jump into the episode, i have a little story to share you guys. On Friday, I was out with Steph, my future wife.
00:01:03
Fab
Friday night, we were just running errands and this and that and all that fun stuff. And I was wearing a Giants hoodie. Not because the Giants won, just because that was the only thing that I could find at the moment. Then we had the russia to rush on and run some errands.
00:01:14
Fab
There's a guy at the store. He's like, Hey, you must be happy. Yeah. I'm like, why is that? He's like, Oh, the giants one. I'm like, you know what? I am happy. He's like, dude, I saw you walk in. You had a smile on your face from ear to ear. I'm like, you're right.
00:01:25

Fantasy Football Deep Dive

00:03:17
Roger Emeka
Thank you, Fabio. All right. The opening drive week seven target and rush share report. so we're going to look at some committee backfields, wide receiver rooms that are in flux. First and foremost, we're going start with Mr. Rico Dowdle 66 PPR points over his last two games. That is not a typo.
00:03:36
Roger Emeka
Chuba Hubbard open the year strong, but that was taken over with over 80% snap and rush share over the past two weeks. Friend of the program, Matt Harmon, charted that half his carries go for five plus yards or more, and one third either go for first downs or are for a touchdown.
00:03:53
Roger Emeka
Even the Panthers' pass volume has dropped from 11th to 20th over the past three weeks, showing that they're leaning on the run. Dowdle, in my opinion, I think ours as well, is a must hold and must start even when Hubbard returns.
00:04:06
Roger Emeka
Coach Dave Canales called it a we'll see situation when he was asked today if Hubbard will have his job back. So Dowdle is ride the hot hand with Dowdle.
00:04:17
Roger Emeka
Next up, we have the Tampa Bay wide receiver room with Emeka Abuka out.
00:04:17
Nacc
Are you going to...
00:04:21
Roger Emeka
but The Bucs turned into target share roulette table last week against the 49ers. Kay Don, 33% target share. Cameron Johnson, 27% target share. Favorite of mine from Oregon, Tess Johnson, 20% target share. And Rashad White, 13%.
00:04:37
Roger Emeka
Finally, Sterling Shepard, Baker's quarterback. College teammate, 7%. I think Shepard quietly um becomes the guy there. He ranks second in routes, catches, yards, and fourth in target share on the team.
00:04:50
Roger Emeka
He's not going to be a priority added in waivers necessarily unless you're a Buka owner. But i think during the bye weeks, Baker and Shepard have good chemistry to maybe rekindle that magic again.
00:05:01
Roger Emeka
So he should be a sneaky flex play. Next, we have Mr. Kendrick Bourne, the Bourne identity for the 49ers. Back-to-back 149, 42-yard games on 20 targets. 11 targets and 9 targets over the past two games.
00:05:15
Roger Emeka
Jennings is absolutely bang banged up. He had to tell us, he had to tell the the media that he had five broken ribs and a broken ankle. Pearsall is always banged up as well, and Ayuk is still not close to coming back.
00:05:26
Roger Emeka
Bourne's earned real trust from this offense. I think the question is whether is he playable even after Jennings and Purcell are back? And also, is he more tethered tethered to Mac Jones?
00:05:37
Roger Emeka
Or can he produce this this production when Rock Purdy is back, which should be very soon? i think he's startable until further notice, but I would temper my expectations. He might be a sell-high candidate.
00:05:50
Roger Emeka
And finally, we have the Seahawks backfield, Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, usage, split, or load management. So the tale of the tape between the two last week, Charbonnet played 61% of the snaps, 12 carries, 13 routes, while Walker saw just 33% of the carries, 10, excuse me, of the snaps, 10 carries, and 8 routes.
00:06:09
Roger Emeka
Both finished with 4.7 fantasy points. So far in is bottom five in explosiveness. That's like us basically being running backs.
00:06:21
Roger Emeka
Whereas Walker, even despite those stats, is top two in explosiveness.
00:06:23
Fab
Yeah.
00:06:25
Roger Emeka
So what gives? So according to their beat writer, Seahawks beat writer, Greg Bell, Walker is still managing the preseason foot issue that he's had. He's had foot issues over the past two weeks two years.
00:06:35
Roger Emeka
We know he's little bit injury prone.
00:06:36
Fab
yeah
00:06:38
Roger Emeka
And if you look at the deeper metrics with regards to Seattle's ah offense, when Walker is on, they better on yards per play. They're better than expected points as well. They're also better in success rate when Walker is in versus Charbonnet.
00:06:53
Roger Emeka
I think the thing here is they they both play in the most amount of eight-man fronts in the league. And I think they're using Charbonnet as kind of the battering ram to keep Walker for staying fresh.
00:07:05
Roger Emeka
Hold tight with for Walker through the week eight bye. i think this is going to be a committee shift and they're load managing Walker so that when he's healthy after the bye, think they're going they're going to let him explode.
00:07:17
Roger Emeka
That's all for the opening drive this week. A few backfields, a few headaches, and some clarity for your lineups. NAC, take us home with week seven. Love, hate, please.
00:07:25
Nacc
Thank you, Roger. That was awesome. As always, the opening drive. that takes us to our love-hate for week six. the Or week seven, should I say.
00:07:38
Nacc
ah Teams on buy in week seven are the Ravens and Bills. So a few fantasy repercussions there. um Record this week was a healthy 8-6-1.
00:07:51
Nacc
Which brings our total record to 43-41-2. Fab, you led way 3-1 and run. two so fab you led the way at three one and run you had a love for which panned out.
00:08:02
Fab
He didn't play.
00:08:02
Nacc
Love with JK Dobbins, which unfortunately did not. Also hates for Travis Etienne and Derek Henry. And we gave you a little push here for Dalton Kincaid, who did not start the game or obviously was inactive.
00:08:16
Fab
you know play
00:08:18
Nacc
ah Rod, you went two and three, missing out on your loves of Cam Ward and Spencer Rattler, who had... ah interesting days to say the least.
00:08:29
Nacc
You did hit on your Evan Ingram love at the tight end position. We'll give you a push slash loss here for Kyler Murray, Jacoby Brissett on the hate.
00:08:41
Nacc
ah He actually did pretty well in Kyler Murray's place. and But you also did hit on Dylan Gabriel hate. I missed out. Actually, I was three and two missed out on Stefan digs. That was this really surprising one for me on the weekend. I think he didn't even get to five fantasy points after putting on back-to-back solid performances.
00:09:01
Nacc
Finally, Brian Thomas came to life this week. So hit on that love, uh, also hit on the hates for Calvin Ridley and DJ more and missed out on the, do you want Johnson love?
00:09:17
Nacc
that one was also a, um, One that I kind of weird, but did not get targeted a lot in that game.
00:09:25
Roger Emeka
Taysom Hill back.
00:09:26
Fab
Yeah, exactly.
00:09:27
Nacc
Yeah, Taysom Hill, well, he steals a lot of that red zone.
00:09:28
Roger Emeka
Gotta love it.
00:09:29
Fab
Yep.
00:09:30
Nacc
When they're inside the five, it's like Kamara, Keiondre Miller, forget it.
00:09:32
Fab
Yep.
00:09:35
Nacc
It's not going happen. It's going to be Taysom Hill's show. So definitely a little bit of frustrations coming out of and in Fantasyland for New Orleans.
00:09:38
Fab
Yep.
00:09:46
Nacc
So but without further ado, I'll get things started with the quarterbacks this week. So the first quarterback I love this week is going to be Mr. Aaron Rodgers, QB 19 at the Bengals on Thursday Night Football.
00:10:03
Nacc
So Rodgers has been the definition of steady, not flashy, but reliable. That said, Week 7 brings a very enticing matchup against the Bengals' defense that's been a gift to opposing quarterbacks.
00:10:13
Roger Emeka
Thank you.
00:10:14
Nacc
They've allowed every QB to score at least 15 fantasy points this season, and over the last three weeks alone, Bo Nix, 29 points, Jared Goff, 23 points. um Both went over 20, and even Jordan Love managed to get 17, and they really ran the ball a lot. I think Josh Jacobs had two TDs in that game.
00:10:32
Nacc
The Jets offense finally seems, sorry, the Steelers offense finally seems to be finding its rhythm. And Rodgers is coming off his best fantasy outing of the year against a tough Browns defense.
00:10:46
Nacc
So this feels like the week he breaks through. So I consider Rodgers a high-end start in 2QB and super flex formats. 19,
00:10:55
Roger Emeka
Yeah, he's going QB 19 after a lot of guys who I would i would definitely start over Rodgers.
00:10:57
Nacc
QB 19. nineteen
00:10:58
Fab
yeah
00:11:02
Roger Emeka
I would start him over even Justin Fields. over Even Bo Nix hasn't been that that that impressive. So I think it's a good start, especially with against that defense.
00:11:10
Fab
this is the This is the Senior Citizens Bowl. Is that what this is this week on Thursday?
00:11:14
Nacc
Yep, combined age of 81 years old for both starting quarterbacks on Thursday thursday night football. So that should be that should definitely be interesting.
00:11:23
Roger Emeka
The Unk Bowl.
00:11:24
Fab
The Unk Bowl. Yeah.
00:11:24
Nacc
The Unk Bowl, as they call it.
00:11:26
Nacc
Yes, yes, yes, yes. My second love for this week is going to be Mr. Sam Darnold. QB 17 versus the Texans. 17? Like the disrespect is really real when it comes to Sam Darnold. So six weeks in, Darnold continues to ball out and has completely unleashed JSN.
00:11:45
Nacc
The two are forming one of the league's most electric duos, if not the best duo in the league right now. And sure, Houston's defense looks good on paper, allowing the fewest fantasy points to QB so far.
00:11:56
Nacc
But if we look a little closer, the last three quarterbacks they faced were Cooper Rush, Cam Ward, and Trevor Lawrence. So not as not exactly murderer's role there. Expect some some course correction here.
00:12:07
Nacc
Darnold is in command of this offense, and until ah he gives you a reason not to, keep starting him with absolute confidence.
00:12:16
Nacc
I think we all agree on this one.
00:12:17
Roger Emeka
Yep. Yep. yeah
00:12:21
Nacc
So that'll do it for my loves. My hate this week will be, the first one will be Tua Tagovailoa. I believe he was in our ah love segment three or four weeks ago. But he has QB 25 at the Browns. So it's been but a true rollercoaster season for Tua, to say the least. After after a few encouraging weeks, he crashed back to earth in week six.
00:12:44
Nacc
Just 205 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs for a 10-point fantasy stud, dud, excuse me. ah Then came his postgame comments calling out the team leadership while dodging accountability for his own struggles.
00:12:58
Nacc
So not the best look for your franchise QB. And now he heads into Cleveland to face a ferocious Browns defense on the road behind an O-line that might let Miles Garrett make his presence felt.
00:13:09
Roger Emeka
Oh my god.
00:13:10
Fab
Yeah.
00:13:11
Nacc
um Literally, this is the week to not roll the dice, bench Tua wherever possible. And I don't know, maybe his O-line lets them sneak and he sneak through for a few few clean hits from Myles Garrett.
00:13:20
Roger Emeka
i
00:13:23
Roger Emeka
is it Is it too kind of gory to say I fear for Tua's life this weekend?
00:13:28
Fab
No, it's not.
00:13:29
Nacc
No, it's it's definitely not.
00:13:30
Fab
I think it's, like I think it's a legitimate concern.
00:13:31
Nacc
I definitely...
00:13:31
Roger Emeka
Like, you guys you guys remember that, um was it week one or basically when Miles Garrett, like, he was coming through a pass rush.
00:13:42
Roger Emeka
And i think one of the QBs was like, holy crap, like, he's coming through.
00:13:44
Fab
Yeah.
00:13:44
Roger Emeka
Like, I could just, as it gets to the Bengals, I feel like it was maybe Joe Burrow either way, it doesn't, it was someone
00:13:45
Fab
Yep.
00:13:45
Nacc
Yeah, that was,
00:13:45
Fab
Yep.
00:13:49
Fab
No. Was it against Arizona?
00:13:53
Nacc
it was someone, but it was, yeah, he was he was like, holy crap. Yeah, exactly, because it was, yeah.
00:13:56
Roger Emeka
yeah It's like, holy, holy S-I-H-H-S-H-I-T. And like, I could just see that happening the to Tua.
00:14:00
Fab
Yeah.
00:14:01
Roger Emeka
And Tua has been sacked quite a bit like this year too. and They haven't really done a good job professor protecting him. And he's been very turnover turnover prone, which is kind of like the reason why Tua exists is to protect the ball.
00:14:13
Fab
Yep. Yeah.
00:14:13
Nacc
Yeah, yeah. And finally, my last hate of the week is going to be a double whammy. It's Brock Purdy, QB 22, or Mac Jones, QB 24 on Sunday Night Football.
00:14:26
Nacc
So it's still unclear who will get the start, but honestly, I don't think it matters much for fantasy purposes.
00:14:28
Roger Emeka
I love this.
00:14:32
Nacc
The Falcons' defense has been lights out, allowing zero quarterbacks
00:14:34
Roger Emeka
man
00:14:34
Fab
yeah
00:14:36
Nacc
to throw for 200 yards all season. And even Josh Allen got completely shut down under the Monday night lights, which was incredible to see from that defense. Now, whichever QB suits up will face some of that suffocating defense Sunday night and likely...
00:14:52
Nacc
at less than 100%, so whoever starts is not going to be truly healthy, and the Falcons' pass rush has been stellar, and this feels like ah another long night ahead for an opposing QB facing Atlanta, so I would avoid this situation altogether.
00:15:09
Roger Emeka
Yeah. Haven't seen Atlanta defense look of this good in since since John Abraham.
00:15:12
Fab
Yeah, you got to give props.
00:15:12
Nacc
Yep.
00:15:15
Fab
Yeah, you really got to give props.
00:15:15
Nacc
and Well, they finally, it was the year they they drafted all on defense too this year,
00:15:15
Fab
What they did to Buffalo last night. Yeah.
00:15:19
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:15:20
Fab
Yeah, they finally spent some serious draft capital they really needed to.
00:15:20
Nacc
so
00:15:25
Nacc
Yeah, yeah. So that'll do it for the QBs. Raj, why don't you give us some QBs you love and or sorry, some running backs you love and hate this week.
00:15:34
Roger Emeka
Sure can. So first running back I love is Ramondre Stevenson, running back 28 for the Tennessee Titans.
00:15:39
Nacc
Ooh. Ooh.
00:15:41
Roger Emeka
The Titans are allowing the fourth most fantasy points to running backs and the most TDs in the league. They just fired their head coach, Brian Callahan, who was way over his head. And they have a red hot Pats offense coming into town.
00:15:55
Roger Emeka
The Pats backfield has been a committee. still leans towards Stevenson. And according to Ryan Heath of Fantasy Sports Data, we love his... ah Monday tweets, over last seven quarters, Stevenson has a 56% carry share and he's 5 of 5 inside the 10-yard line.
00:16:13
Roger Emeka
Henderson has not seen any carries inside the 10. Add to that fact, the Titans are fourth in the league in red zone attempts allowed per game with four per game. So I see Stevenson looking into a few touchdowns and maybe a 12-4-60 line.
00:16:31
Roger Emeka
Nothing special, nothing amazing. But I just think that the Titans are an absolute dumpster fire right now.
00:16:38
Nacc
it's I still think it's crazy that they still are not choosing to use Henderson, which is mind-boggling to me.
00:16:45
Fab
Yeah. it It doesn't make any sense to me at all because You think it's even the OC that's picking the calls on this?
00:16:51
Roger Emeka
It doesn't make any sense to me either, but I feel we've seen this from Vrabel in the past.
00:16:58
Fab
It's not even very real?
00:16:59
Roger Emeka
For sure. But I like i i recall with Vrabel and ah maybe it was Taiji Spears or Vrabel, even when Derek Hennie was coming up, I feel like this was like he'd always lean more towards the the veteran back.
00:17:11
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:17:11
Nacc
Mm-hmm.
00:17:12
Roger Emeka
um Second running back I love is Woody Marks, running back 34 at Seattle. I'm calling this a Woody Marks game for one simple reason. The Seahawks allow the most targets, 51, and the most receptions, 43, to running backs this year.
00:17:28
Roger Emeka
Conversely, they've allowed the second fewest rushing yards to running backs this year. So they allowed Jalen Warren in terms of pass catching to go four for 86. This is all pass catching. So Trey Benson, five passes a few weeks ago, and even Travis Etienne went four for 28. I think reports of Marx's demise were greatly exaggerated. He's had 50% snap share from weeks four and five, and it was normally dipped below 40% last week as the Texans were slaughtering the Ravens.
00:17:57
Roger Emeka
I think it'll be a much closer game versus the Seahawks on Monday Night Football at Lumen Field. 10 p.m. game. I really can't wait for this game, actually. I think it's going to be a dooy
00:18:06
Nacc
I don't know if i'll be up for the the whole game, that's for sure.
00:18:09
Fab
I don't understand how they have a 10 p.m. game on a Monday and it's Seattle versus.
00:18:13
Nacc
because Seattle is at 7 p.m.
00:18:15
Fab
Yeah, I know.
00:18:15
Roger Emeka
going to be a doozy.
00:18:15
Fab
But like, it's just.
00:18:16
Nacc
West Coast.
00:18:18
Roger Emeka
I prefer these types of Monday Night games than the 7-15, hate them.
00:18:21
Nacc
Yeah, because you can at least watch both, you know?
00:18:22
Fab
Yeah, for sure, because you can watch both.
00:18:23
Roger Emeka
ah hate
00:18:24
Fab
i agree. It's just 10 at 10 o'clock Eastern time start. It's like it's like watching a hockey game out on the West Coast. Which we've all done before.
00:18:32
Nacc
It's like watching any sport out of the West Coast.
00:18:34
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:18:34
Nacc
Ha, ha, ha.
00:18:34
Fab
We've all done before.
00:18:35
Roger Emeka
Just quick, quick, quick on a mention. I won't go deep into it. I think a Kamani Vidal should be, ah is a must start. and Love, love his his matchup this week.
00:18:43
Fab
you you Do you love the cut of his jib for the rest of the season?
00:18:47
Roger Emeka
I do. I do like the cut of it. No, but like literally, I think the Hassan Haskins stuff was very, very good smokescreen by whoever the Chargers is there.
00:18:50
Fab
Yeah, i agree. Yep.
00:18:55
Fab
Yep.
00:18:56
Roger Emeka
And he looked really good. So indian Indianapolis defense, very good, but.
00:19:00
Nacc
I think they said that it was the similar situation to what happened with the Cardinals.
00:19:03
Roger Emeka
Bam night. Yeah.
00:19:05
Fab
Yep.
00:19:05
Nacc
Like Demercato, because they were both not on the roster, but Demercato and Haskins are more of the pass-catching change of pace back, and they obviously they didn't need two just running backs, right?
00:19:06
Fab
yep
00:19:17
Nacc
So that's why Vidal kind of went in, and that's why Michael Carter took it, but now it's that night.
00:19:20
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:19:20
Fab
Well, yeah, Arizona did that twice in two weeks because even last week too was Bam Knight and not a not Michael Carter like everyone expected it to be.
00:19:23
Roger Emeka
Also.
00:19:23
Nacc
Yeah.
00:19:28
Nacc
right.
00:19:28
Roger Emeka
Also, I feel like a lot of the more talented guys, they play on special teams and then they need that injury to get bumped up and then they kind of show show kind of their mettle in practice.
00:19:32
Nacc
Yeah. Yeah.
00:19:33
Fab
That's true. That's a good point.
00:19:38
Nacc
yeah
00:19:39
Fab
Yeah, that's a very good point.
00:19:39
Roger Emeka
Yeah. Speaking of running backs I hate and speaking of the Cardinals, Bam Knight at Arizona. oh sir Bam Knight at Arizona. Bam Knight at Zonovan Knight at Packers versus the Packers. Excuse me.
00:19:52
Roger Emeka
I do not like Bam Knight versus the Packers. so The Packers are allowing the second fewest fantasy points to running backs and the fewest rushing attempts to backs in the league. They've held down Chase Brown, Bill Merritt, and Gibbs and Montgomery in check.
00:20:05
Fab
Yeah.
00:20:05
Roger Emeka
They did struggle a little bit versus Quinshon Junkins and Javante Williams, but the Cardinals have the worst rushing success rate in the league, which basically means they're not picking up part positive yardages consistently.
00:20:18
Roger Emeka
Most of their runs are getting either stuffed or behind the chains. That's fine if you want to look in for a TV, but otherwise there's way better options aside from Bam Knight this week.
00:20:28
Roger Emeka
And you might as well add Michael Carter as well or Amari DiMarcado.
00:20:31
Fab
yeah
00:20:34
Roger Emeka
And then more spicier one for you all. I also hate Brees Hall running back 15 versus the Panthers this week. So the Panthers have a very legit run defense.
00:20:42
Fab
Okay.
00:20:42
Nacc
Yeah.
00:20:45
Roger Emeka
They held the scorching hot Javante Williams to 2.2 yards per carry on 29 yards. They held Devon A. Chan to 1.6 yards per carry on 16 yards.
00:20:56
Roger Emeka
They've been spearheaded by the return of interior lineman Derek Brown, who i think is... Very close to potentially being an all pro this year. Remember, this was the same defense that was historically bad in 2024, allowing the third most rushing yards allowed in NFL history.
00:21:10
Roger Emeka
Brees Hall has feasted against bad defenses like the Dolphins and Cowboys, but he's looked small against Tampa and Denver. I don't think it's an outright sit, obviously, but expect him to struggle against the Panthers.
00:21:23
Nacc
like it.
00:21:24
Fab
Yeah, I like this call, actually.
00:21:24
Nacc
like it.
00:21:26
Nacc
Thank you, Raj, for the running back love and hates for week seven. And without further ado, Mr. Fabio, what do you got on the wide receiver front?
00:21:37
Fab
Oh, I got some fun stuff, boys. I hope you're ready for this one. So my first love of the week is actually... Roger, you mentioned him already. He's your boy. He's your boy out of Oregon. Tess Johnson.
00:21:47
Roger Emeka
Yes!
00:21:48
Nacc
Ooh.
00:21:48
Fab
Tess Johnson versus Detroit. So Tampa Bay don't have... Mike Evans, they don't have Igbuka. They don't have Chris Godwin. Also don't have Bucky Irving, might as well. So they're all out this week. So that leaves the Bucks wide receiver core very barren.
00:22:03
Fab
But they have future MVP Baker Mayfield throwing them the ball. And if there's one thing we know about Baker and his time at Tampa Bay, he's wide receiver proof. Because he's been through every single possible wide receiver injury in the short time he's already been in Tampa Bay.
00:22:21
Fab
And he turns those wide receivers into fancy gold. So an add to the fact that they're facing Detroit who give up the six most fancy points to wide receivers. So 10 passing TDs already on the year. This has the makings of a shootout in Motor City.
00:22:33
Fab
Reasons why I like Tez over Cameron Johnson and Shepard the deep ball. And his raw participation has increased every week from 14% in week one to 84% week six.
00:22:44
Fab
with an average depth of target of 15.2. So he was already involved in the offense since week one, albeit at a much smaller amount because of the other guys in front of him. So he's 51. I think he's actually flexible this week. And if you're desperate to wide receiver injuries and buys, I think you can actually put him in your lineup and you'll you'll get some decent production out of him. and I really do. I really think that he's in a very good spot to produce very good fantasy returns.
00:23:13
Nacc
I like that one. Moody.
00:23:16
Fab
Next one, we have Keishon Butte at Tennessee. Keishon Butte. i Hi. Butte.
00:23:24
Roger Emeka
Boutte.
00:23:25
Fab
i suppose I spoke to He prefers it this way.
00:23:25
Roger Emeka
Boutte.
00:23:27
Fab
ah so good matchup versus china Tennessee.
00:23:27
Roger Emeka
I'm going
00:23:30
Fab
Check. Talented quarterback throwing in the ball. Check. Getting hot at the right time. Also check. It's been up and down for Butte this year, but Rising tide raises all ships. And I think that's what we're seeing right now in new England. They cannot trust their run game. I know Roger, you have Ramaji Stevenson as a, as a love. So I apologize for that.
00:23:51
Fab
And Drake may is, is erasing all doubts about a sophomore slump.
00:23:52
Roger Emeka
to take it.
00:23:55
Fab
But it seems that finally implanted himself in the offense and his raw participation for the season has been a reliable, 74%. He also leads a team with 33% end zone target share right now. He's wide receiver 50.
00:24:06
Fab
is another very serviceable flex play in a very good matchup. I like this a lot. And these are also two guys that are probably on your waiver wire. And these are two guys that if you have an option to pick them up, you should.
00:24:16
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:24:19
Fab
And this episode, by time it comes out,
00:24:22
Roger Emeka
They might still be on the waiver wire, honestly.
00:24:24
Fab
yeah, they might be on waiver wire.
00:24:24
Roger Emeka
like ah just Just back to Tez, ah you know what's interesting is he ran a 4.5, almost 4.640, and he he dropped down considerably in the draft because, you know, i ah that he must be slow, but like his play speed, he looks really fast.
00:24:27
Fab
Yep.
00:24:33
Fab
Yeah.
00:24:41
Fab
Yeah.
00:24:42
Nacc
Really fast, yeah.
00:24:43
Fab
It was very fast.
00:24:43
Roger Emeka
He looks really fast. and And just the last thing is, what a wide receiver factory does do the Bucs have? like yes Yes, you have to give Baker a ton of credit,
00:24:48
Fab
Dude, man.
00:24:51
Roger Emeka
ton of credit
00:24:52
Fab
ah hundred percent
00:24:52
Roger Emeka
But like the GM drafting, they just churn out wide receiver after wide receiver after wide receiver.
00:24:52
Fab
100%. Yeah. Yeah.
00:24:57
Roger Emeka
It's an absolute factory.
00:24:58
Fab
No, that that's a very good point.
00:24:58
Roger Emeka
It's really impressive.
00:25:00
Fab
And you so like you look at all the wide receivers that they've lost due to injury. Yeah. And they're all brand names and they don't, they don't skip a beat because the guys that they have, like it's next man up for them, but it's next man.
00:25:05
Roger Emeka
Next man up.
00:25:08
Roger Emeka
No.
00:25:12
Fab
Like it's, it's really next man up because they're just ready to rock and roll over there. It's really impressive. But honestly, Baker Mayfield though. Yeah. We all know how I feel about him. I don't gotta say it. don't gotta say it.
00:25:25
Fab
He's one of the good ones.
00:25:25
Roger Emeka
I wish I put MVP money on him, man.
00:25:28
Nacc
Mahomes has entered that conversation.
00:25:29
Roger Emeka
Yeah, he has.
00:25:30
Fab
Yeah, Mahomes has entered that conversation, and rightfully so. Rightfully so. He's turning out a lot.
00:25:34
Roger Emeka
But you love you some Baker. You love you some Bake.
00:25:36
Fab
yeah we love so Yeah, but you've got to give props for Mahomes. I think the last few years we've been poo-pooing him a little bit too much. Well, not too much, but and enough.
00:25:42
Roger Emeka
The fantasy community has.
00:25:43
Fab
Yeah, the fans community has.
00:25:44
Nacc
And he's...
00:25:44
Fab
This year he's getting it done with. He's a leading rusher on the team.
00:25:48
Nacc
He's also QB1 on the season. I was the big advocate of Mahomes' comeback season.
00:25:50
Fab
Yeah.
00:25:55
Fab
Yeah, no. and
00:25:56
Roger Emeka
Were you?
00:25:57
Nacc
I was.
00:25:57
Fab
I wasn't paying attention to that part.
00:25:59
Nacc
As I, as I, i'm i'm the I'm the one who keeps the receipts, right?
00:26:01
Fab
It's fine.
00:26:03
Nacc
So we can go back a few episodes if you'd like, but I was, I was one of the advocates to say Mahomes on his comeback tour.
00:26:04
Fab
No, no, it's fucking good.
00:26:08
Fab
Mac, I'll take your word for it. Anyways, moving on to the hates for the wide receivers. Uh, My first eight for the week is Devante Smith Pelly. um I'm sorry, Devante Smith. um Devante Smith at Minnesota. So many are coming off a bye, and Philly

Week 7 Fantasy Decisions

00:26:22
Fab
look like they're in desperate need for one.
00:26:25
Fab
Hurts doesn't seem to be on the same page with his wide receivers at all. Even last week versus the Giants, he missed Smith on a wide open would-be 60-yard touchdown. Smith has also missed his projection in four of the six games so far this season. The only two where he outperformed them were the ones who was targeted more than nine times.
00:26:43
Fab
So he's going to need some volume, and I don't think it'll happen this week versus the top-ranked pass defense in Minnesota. Minnesota have surrendered the least amount of fantasy points wide receivers. Devontae Smith is currently ranked as wide receiver 25, but he's more of a flex play for me and maybe even outside the top 40.
00:26:59
Fab
Just going to roll out some quick numbers. 74, 51, 9, 70, 10, 37. winning Powerball combinations. ten thirty seven those are not the winning powerball combination Those are Smith's weekly PPR finishes this season.
00:27:19
Fab
For guy that you drafted as a wide receiver two, wide receiver three, it's really tough sliding so far.
00:27:25
Roger Emeka
He's such a talented player. i I'm out on him.
00:27:27
Fab
He's such a talented player, man.
00:27:27
Roger Emeka
i'm I'm out on him next year because it's just the riot is. And you know what, Fab? I agree with your call. I think I guarantee you, you're going to lose this one. Because when you when when people sit Smith, that's when he he pops off.
00:27:40
Nacc
that's when That's when he pops off.
00:27:41
Roger Emeka
And when people start him, he' like it's so hard to predict with him. Like against ah Denver, 8 for 114.
00:27:46
Nacc
Very unpredictable.
00:27:49
Fab
Yeah, but that's also because PS2 is all over ah j Brown.
00:27:53
Roger Emeka
But not really. But then we know that PS2 kind of doesn't necessarily follow one guy. like He shadows a certain part of the field.
00:27:58
Fab
True.
00:27:59
Roger Emeka
But again, I agree with you.
00:28:01
Fab
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
00:28:01
Roger Emeka
It's just he he's it's so hard to own Devante, find.
00:28:03
Fab
But I also don't think it's necessarily a product of Devante Smith. I think it's also a product of the offense in Philly right now was really out of sync. And you've been seeing that lately too.
00:28:11
Roger Emeka
Yes.
00:28:12
Fab
Like it's just been weird.
00:28:12
Roger Emeka
Yes, totally. Yeah.
00:28:15
Fab
And obviously you add there to the fact that Minnesota is, you know, off their by, they're a little bit more healthy and they have a very good defense like they always do.
00:28:19
Roger Emeka
Hmm.
00:28:22
Fab
I think it's gonna be tough sledding. And it's also, this could be a once revenge game. Who knows? Probably not though. i've been hearing the JJ McCarthy is practicing.
00:28:30
Roger Emeka
It's
00:28:31
Fab
ah Moving on to my final hate of the episode. It's your boy, Nack. It's Wanda Robinson.
00:28:40
Nacc
My boy.
00:28:40
Fab
Wanda Robinson at Denver.
00:28:43
Nacc
and don't like that matchup at all.
00:28:43
Fab
He's seen a big uptick in targets and targets here in the last few weeks with neighbors out the evening when aver's off for the season and Slayton dealing with a quad injury.
00:28:46
Roger Emeka
a rough way to end it.
00:28:52
Fab
However, the $26 million dollars man is expected to be back and Robinson might get the PS2 treatment this week as well. Denver gave us the second least amount of points to wide receivers.
00:29:03
Fab
This feels like a low scoring game, just like we've seen Denver versus the Jets last week. I think it's gonna be won or lost on the ground. Currently ranked as wide receiver 24, I consider benching him for more attractive options even after his great performance last week versus Philly.
00:29:19
Nacc
Yeah, I think I'm starting Josh Downs over Wanda this week. He's going be too tough to play.
00:29:25
Fab
Yeah, I like that call actually. I like that call. I think Pittman is injured.
00:29:32
Nacc
No, don't think so.
00:29:32
Fab
No? so it's I heard some of the wide receivers in the year are not 100%, but no, I do like that call all the same.
00:29:41
Nacc
awesome Thank you for the wide receivers fab. And as always, we will end with our tight ends. Raj, what about you? What do you have at tight end this week? Love or hate?
00:29:51
Roger Emeka
Love for me, Kate Otten, tight end 12 at Detroit. He's a perfect streaming option tight end in week seven. Obviously, we've talked about it already. The Bucs wide receiver core is banged up with Evans, Godwin, Abuka, all likely out this week.
00:30:05
Roger Emeka
And the Bucs working in their fourth and fifth string wide receivers. Otten saw a 30% target share as soon as Abuka was out and has had games of 81 and 51 yards away. fifty one yards Back to back.
00:30:18
Roger Emeka
He's a tight end 12, as mentioned, according to Fantasy Pros. That puts him at borderline tight end 1 against the Lions, who allowed Kelsey to go for six four seventy eight last week. I think he's a great start in Week 7.
00:30:32
Fab
We saw what he did last year when Godwin was out and Evans was banged up and he was tight end one like every other week.
00:30:37
Roger Emeka
Yeah. he's
00:30:39
Fab
It's plug and play 100%.
00:30:41
Roger Emeka
He's a benefactor of injuries. He is not he's he is absent when all everyone's there, but...
00:30:42
Fab
hundred percent
00:30:43
Nacc
Yeah.
00:30:46
Fab
Yeah. Well, he doesn't need to factor in when everyone is there, but when everyone isn't there, which for the Bucks happens more often than not.
00:30:52
Nacc
Yeah. When everyone there is even the, what is he The sixth read on a, on a play, you know?
00:30:56
Roger Emeka
It's crazy how much talent they have, man.
00:30:56
Fab
Yeah, exactly.
00:30:58
Nacc
Yeah.
00:30:58
Fab
Yeah.
00:30:58
Roger Emeka
It's nuts.
00:30:58
Nacc
It's, it's wild.
00:30:59
Fab
Yeah, it's great.
00:30:59
Nacc
It's wild. Fab, what about you? Love or hate on the tight end?
00:31:03
Fab
I got a hate. I got a hate on Travis Kelsey versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Oakland Raiders. So Kelsey has actually been pretty good this year. He's tied in five on the season, and normally I wouldn't be and would it be betting against Taylor Swift's husband.
00:31:19
Fab
But this has Rasheed Rice written all over it.
00:31:21
Nacc
Beyonce.
00:31:23
Fab
Whatever. Husband, fiance. Significant other. Add to the fact that Las Vegas gave up the eighth least amount of fast-key points to tight ends. and the fact that they've only surrendered two touchdowns to tight ends all year.
00:31:36
Fab
None of their opposing tight ends have had more than 66 receiving yards or six receptions. I think it's tough sledding for Kelsey in this matchup. I think he takes a big backseat to the Rice and Mahomes show. He's ranked as tight end nine, and I have him finishing outside of that this week.
00:31:51
Nacc
I think everyone is really high on Rice. like Zero, like he's got to come in and and find some kind of meshing with with Mahomes. right like I don't know if he comes out guns blazing week one.
00:32:04
Nacc
He could.
00:32:04
Fab
I think they're going to try to get them involved really and often.
00:32:05
Roger Emeka
also
00:32:06
Fab
I think that's, I think it's going to a matter of, I think it's that.
00:32:07
Nacc
for sure, but I don't know, man. He's going to have to be in sync a little bit with him, I feel. Yeah,
00:32:12
Roger Emeka
Also, you're afraid of the Raiders?
00:32:15
Nacc
I don't think anyone's afraid of the Raiders.
00:32:18
Fab
Well, they've been pretty good against tight ends.
00:32:20
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:32:21
Nacc
I guess.
00:32:21
Fab
I'm sorry. Is this not tight end love hate?
00:32:24
Roger Emeka
no
00:32:24
Fab
I got confused.
00:32:25
Roger Emeka
No, it is.
00:32:25
Fab
Did we go?
00:32:25
Roger Emeka
it's just i don't know.
00:32:26
Fab
So am i afraid of the Raiders?
00:32:26
Roger Emeka
The Raiders has just been so blocked.
00:32:29
Fab
No, I'm not. But it's something to take under consideration. If you have more attractive options, like Kate Auten.
00:32:34
Roger Emeka
Yeah.
00:32:38
Nacc
or Or my love for this week.
00:32:43
Roger Emeka
There you go.
00:32:43
Nacc
So if you're looking for
00:32:44
Roger Emeka
Nice segue.
00:32:47
Nacc
if you're looking for a sneaky streamer this week, I've got i've got Higby.
00:32:50
Roger Emeka
Pick mine. Pick mine.
00:32:53
Nacc
Tyler Higby. Tight end 29 right now, ladies and gentlemen. So he's buried deep on in that waiver um the waiver wire.
00:33:01
Fab
This guy needs one catch to beat the projection. This isn't fair.
00:33:03
Nacc
But he might be your guy. So with Puka sideline, his use has jumped, and he actually led the Rams in receiving last week, albeit it was just 40 yards, and he scored a touchdown for 14 fantasy points.
00:33:09
Roger Emeka
back
00:33:18
Nacc
So the Rams head overseas to London for week seven, and with Puka likely out until after the bye, Higby should stay ah heavily involved and weird things tend to happen across the pond. So I definitely like Higby to once again, find the end zone. And I think he's a solid tight end streamer this week.
00:33:39
Roger Emeka
6.15 projected points.
00:33:41
Fab
So he needs he needs three catches.
00:33:45
Nacc
Hey, he led the team.
00:33:46
Fab
Great call, Knack. Great call.
00:33:47
Nacc
led team.
00:33:48
Fab
ah Tight end, 57.
00:33:51
Roger Emeka
Oh, we could do it. We're allowed to do this. We could we could pick like, we could pick running back a hundred.
00:33:53
Fab
we We can go all the... week We can go... Hold on a second.
00:33:56
Nacc
Hey, you guys want me, you guys, I will put his, I will put it all the way up to nine.
00:33:56
Fab
and Is this what we're doing?
00:34:00
Nacc
How about that? I'll put it, I'll play it at nine.
00:34:02
Roger Emeka
okay. little gambling.
00:34:04
Fab
Oh, wow.
00:34:04
Roger Emeka
All right.
00:34:04
Fab
So you want to, you want to board bet? You want to board bet to see who finishes higher? Mind you, I have a hate on Travis Kelsey. That doesn't really count.
00:34:12
Nacc
don't know what he's talking about.
00:34:13
Fab
Okay, fine.
00:34:13
Nacc
29, baby.
00:34:14
Fab
Travis, Tyler Higby, what tight end 29, right?
00:34:17
Nacc
twenty nine maybe
00:34:17
Fab
Right after Tommy tremble and right before Noah fans. So clearly in very rare company,
00:34:27
Fab
actually all jokes aside though, I do like this call because I think, uh,
00:34:31
Nacc
Here he goes.
00:34:31
Fab
I think he's going get a lot more volume, that's for sure. definitely Definitely to... Nack is doing tight end arbitrage over here, finding guys all the way at the end. there's just
00:34:40
Nacc
Hey.
00:34:40
Fab
I love it.
00:34:42
Nacc
I think he's a very sneaky good play.
00:34:44
Fab
I think he is a very sneaky good player.
00:34:44
Nacc
We'll see. We'll see you next week.
00:34:45
Fab
He's definitely very sneaky because everyone forgot about him, that's for sure.
00:34:50
Nacc
Yeah, because Pukunoku gets 75 targets a game. seventy five targets a game
00:34:53
Fab
I was actually, so I know we spoke about this before, but honorable mention Orande Gadsden actually for the Chargers too. I think it's a very nice play this week, um but you guys already had two loves. I didn't want to put another love on there.
00:35:04
Fab
So I had to sneak that in.
