ah I've never heard of them before last week when Victor reached out and suggested that we do a quick chit chat, which is what this whole thing's about, I think, is exploring and expanding the ideas of for how we better ourselves, our companies, the the the customer bases that we work for, and, of course, the trade in general.

So thank you Victor. Victor. One of the interesting things that they brought out in that discussion is the difference. I didn't realize how pervasive the rental market is on out east Ontario, Quebec.

Well, we didn't really talk about Quebec and the East Coast, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Newfoundland. um it It's almost nonexistent out here.

And it is a bit we get into a little bit of the weeds and i we are going to do it again. and chat about the differences between rentals and financing. I did get quite a bit of flack back on my a comment that ah you will own nothing and be happy about it.
Financing vs. Renting Debate

Listen, and that was, we didn't really get into it, but I'm going to explore it a little bit deeper. The differences between financing stuff and renting stuff. as When you finance, depending on your circumstances, rental is perfectly fine.

When it comes to financing, um everybody does that who hasn't financed ah your house your truck your something but the purpose of that is you actually own that asset as you move forward and that it's it's moving towards total ownership of whatever asset you're financing.

Whereas rental, you will never own it And that's what I meant by the subscription model of what these HVAC and plumbing companies are going towards is the rental

model because even even Victor, who's moved away from that, says it's it's and it's a lucrative ah market once you sort of tap into your um synergies there to to make it viable.
