Listen, I've said it time and time again. I love the people that I work with. I love the reps that I work with. I love the teams that surround the companies like Navion and Renai. Fantastic people, easy to deal with. They are available and knowledgeable about the products that we install for them.

Criticism of product build quality and cost

is you guys saw the build quality of that demand duo that we installed. Like, I don't know how you can charge me $20,000 for a product and it looks like a monkey put it together. um I don't know what else to what else to call it. Nobody has a measuring tape. Nobody has a square. Nobody has a level that you can put these things together so they look like a $20,000 unit.

And I got to turn around and make markup on that and the material. So, you know, the customer is spending 30 grand on it. And my piping looks, ah I got to like adapt my piping so that ah my stuff looks plum square and true. It's ridiculous.

that's That's my biggest complaint ah both about both Navion and Rene. I don't have, why don't I, Rene, why don't I have a hat? I don't know.

Warranty expectations and product replacements

What is interesting to me is that this happened today, and this is not the first time it has happened or will happen. According to Renai's website, if you put a one of those in a commercial application, the warranty is good for eight years and 12,000 operating hours.

We just pulled the one off, Pete's out of sight right now, that is our first, it's new customer base, a new ah chain that we're working for. Hopefully it goes well. But they installed these units two years ago, or last year, last June.

And we talked to tech support and give them the run hours. And they're like yeah, you just need new units, replace them. like, what? And I don't know yet if it's under warranty or not. I guess we'll find out. I suspect,

that it's going to be because we are talking to, um you know, the Canadian representative and he's trying to impress the the like same as we are trying impress the company that they're supplying these products to so that they don't dump them.

High demand for affordable and reliable products

But ah the problem that I see, and it's with the Navians and the Renai's like we've, I've installed, I don't know, 35 Navians last year. I'm going to install another 35 this year. We've installed,

15, 16 demand duos. I'm not sure I'll hit that same arc this year with them, but it'll be pretty close. Six, seven, or eight. the The reason my customers like them is because they're cheap and they're easy to replace. And the redundancy that goes into those means that they have they don't ever lose water, which is incredibly important to the hospitality, restaurants, hotels industry. That's just how that goes.
